  1. something, Job responds, and they do it again three times. This endless, if you like, getting

  2. at Job about his suffering, and we're going to be looking at that just at different sections. So

  3. we're going to be at Job chapter 4, so you'll need your Bibles open as we flick from page to page.

    Job 4 chapter mention

  4. Well, let's pray and ask for God's help for us this morning.

  5. Father, again, we recognize that in dealing with such a subject of suffering, it is not

  6. only very real for so many people, it's not just an intellectual problem, it is experiential,

  7. whether it's in our own lives or we see it in the ones we love the most. And therefore,

  8. we ask for your help to be able to understand suffering from your perspective and to see

  9. it how we should, and to pray for your Holy Spirit's help to understand your word, the

  10. life of Job and how it points us ultimately to the Lord Jesus and his suffering for us.

  11. So we pray for your help to us all today. Amen.

  12. Amen.

  13. I'm sure many of you have heard of the lady called Joni or Joni Erickson Tadda. She's a quadriplegic.

  14. Basically, it means that she's got no movement from the neck down to her toes. She's been like

  15. this for over 40 years of her life. As a teenager, she broke her neck in a diving accident.

  16. And she's been confined to a wheelchair ever since. And as a follower of Jesus, she's written

  17. and she's spoken many, many times about suffering and has been a means of support to many people

  18. around the world. In her recent book, I have it here, it's called A Place of Healing. And

  19. if you are suffering, I recommend this as somebody who has suffered greatly and is suffering greatly,

  20. but finds great hope in the Lord. An excellent, excellent book. Well, in this book, she recounts

  21. a time where she met this man one Sunday morning after the meeting. Let me read it to you.

  22. It was a beautiful Sunday morning and services were over. I was wheeling across the church parking

  23. lot toward my van when a handsome young man who introduced himself as David stopped me.

  24. Are you Joni? he asked. I smiled, nodding yes. Oh, great, David exclaimed. I'm a visitor here and I was

  25. hoping I would run into you today. I've really been praying for you. My eyes got wide. Really? What about?

  26. You're healing. I've been praying for you to get out of your wheelchair. At that point, my spirit hesitated.

  27. David was a visitor. He came to church hoping to see me and he wanted to see me healed.

  28. Well, I never refuse a prayer for healing, I assured David. The guy wasted no time in getting down to business,

  29. launching into what sounded like a prepared speech. Have you ever considered that it might be sin

  30. standing in the way of your healing? That you've disobeyed in some way? Before I could answer, David

  31. flipped open his Bible, both of us still in the middle of the parking lot, and read from the Gospel of Luke.

  32. Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.

  33. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up onto the roof

  34. and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd right in front of Jesus.

  35. He closed his Bible and reminded me that the paralyzed man in the story was healed,

  36. and I could be healed too if only I would but confess my sins and have faith to believe.

  37. He added,

  38. Joni, there must be some sin in your life that you haven't dealt with yet.

  39. Now, there is some truth, and hear me out, there is some truth in what David said to Joni.

  40. Sometimes, sin does lead to suffering.

  41. So, if I indulge myself in all kinds of physical pleasures and kind of live the life of Riley,

  42. and I end up with a failed liver, HIV, and a broken marriage,

  43. well then, yes, sin has led to my suffering.

  44. But to say in this instance, as we read from this story,

  45. that sin always leads to suffering,

  46. is a terrible misunderstanding of suffering.

  47. Sometimes, innocent people, like Joni, suffer terribly.

  48. Job finds himself in a similar situation.

  49. His three friends that we met at the end of chapter 2,

  50. Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar,

  51. have come to sympathize and comfort him.

  52. Well, that was fine until they got their Bibles out

  53. and started to preach to Job for 23 chapters.

  54. Their message was simple.

  55. I've put it up on the screen here.

  56. Their summary of all their teaching was simply this.

  57. If you suffer, God is punishing you for your sin.

  58. Job, you're suffering.

  59. Therefore, Job, there must be some terrible sin in your life

  60. that you haven't yet confessed.

  61. Now, while there is some connection between sin and suffering,

  62. to say that Job's suffering was connected to his sin

  63. is really to misunderstand Job's innocent suffering.

  64. Chapter 1 has told us very clearly that he was blameless.

  65. He loved God.

  66. He loved God.

  67. He hated evil.

  68. So what do these three friends have to teach us

  69. in their misunderstanding of suffering?

  70. Well, they teach us simply what we should not say

  71. and what we should not think

  72. about those who suffer through no fault of their own.

  73. So we're going to look at their three friends one by one

  74. and see what they have to say,

  75. how they misunderstand suffering

  76. and how we should be careful not to misunderstand in the same way.

  77. So let's start with their first friend, Eliphaz.

  78. His message is very simple.

  79. Innocent people, he says, don't suffer.

  80. Look at chapter 4, verse 3.

  81. He's speaking to Job.

  82. Job, think how you've instructed many,

  83. how you have strengthened feebled hands.

  84. Your words have supported those who stumbled

  85. and you have strengthened faltering knees.

  86. But now trouble comes to you and you are discouraged.

  87. It strikes you and you are dismayed.

  88. Job, if you're wondering how an innocent man like you is suffering,

  89. well then let me give you an answer.

  90. Verse 7.

  91. Consider now who being innocent has ever perished.

  92. Where were the upright ever destroyed?

  93. As I have observed those who plough evil

  94. and those who sow trouble reap it.

  95. At the breath of God, they are destroyed.

  96. At the blast of his anger, they perish.

  97. You see, Job, it's simple.

  98. Innocent people don't suffer.

  99. And if you had behaved yourself,

  100. then all these bad things would never have happened.

  101. The best way to understand your suffering, Job,

  102. is to see it as God's discipline in your life.

  103. Look at chapter 5, verse 17.

  104. Blessed is the man whom God corrects.

  105. So do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

  106. For he wounds, but he also binds up.

  107. He injures, but his hands also heal.

  108. Verse 27.

  109. We have examined this, and this is true.

  110. So hear it and apply it to yourself.

  111. Well, Eliphaz is not finished with Job.

  112. He picks up another speech in chapter 15.

  113. Let's have a look at that.

  114. Chapter 15 and verse 17.

  115. He's got more so-called wisdom to pass on.

  116. Chapter 15, verse 17.

  117. Listen to me and I will explain to you.

  118. Let me tell you what I have seen.

  119. What wise men have declared.

  120. Hidden nothing or hiding nothing

  121. received from their fathers.

  122. Verse 24.

  123. Distress and anguish fill him with terror.

  124. They overwhelm him like a king poised to attack

  125. because he shakes his fist at God

  126. and vaunts himself against the Almighty.

  127. Can you see what's happening, Job?

  128. If you would only stop fighting God,

  129. stop claiming your innocence,

  130. and just admit your sin to God,

  131. and everything would be all right.

  132. And in case we're missing the point

  133. that Eliphaz is trying to make,

  134. look at chapter 22, verse 4.

  135. Is it for your piety that he rebukes you

  136. and brings charges against you?

  137. Is not your wickedness great?

  138. Are not your sins endless?

  139. Verse 21.

  140. Submit to God then,

  141. and be at peace with him.

  142. In this way prosperity will come to you.

  143. Accept instruction from his mouth,

  144. and lay up his words in your heart.

  145. If you return to the Almighty,

  146. you will be restored.

  147. If you remove wickedness from your tent,

  148. and assign your nuggets to the dust,

  149. your gold of offer to the rocks in the ravines,

  150. then the Almighty will be your gold,

  151. the choice of silver for you.

  152. It's a little bit like the words of David to Joni.

  153. They completely missed the point.

  154. And this line of thinking, unfortunately,

  155. is not uncommon.

  156. I had a brief watch again of the God channel

  157. just to make sure that what I think

  158. is actually what they teach,

  159. but if you listen to it,

  160. and don't really listen to it

  161. because there's nothing there to listen to,

  162. you will hear speaker after speaker

  163. claiming that if you just confess your sin,

  164. you will be healed.

  165. All you need to tell God is the problem,

  166. and he's going to deliver you from it.

  167. And they'll stand there and say,

  168. in the name of Jesus,

  169. confess your sin,

  170. and don't forget to write a check

  171. and send in a few dollars,

  172. and all your suffering will end.

  173. The idea that innocent people don't suffer

  174. and that sin is the cause

  175. is a common way that people try to explain suffering

  176. in people's lives.

  177. But it's very wrong,

  178. very misunderstood.

  179. Well, let's look at his second so-called friend,

  180. Bildad.

  181. His message is simple as well.

  182. Godless people are punished.

  183. Let's go to chapter 8.

  184. Job, do you want to know

  185. why all your children and all their families

  186. were wiped out in that tornado?

  187. Well, let me give you a reason

  188. for why that happened.

  189. Chapter 8, verse 4.

  190. And let's remember how suffering,

  191. how awful this suffering was for this man

  192. and what has happened to him.

  193. And he gets advice like this.

  194. Verse 4 of chapter 8.

  195. When your children sinned against him,

  196. he gave them over to the penalty of their sin.

  197. But if you will look to God

  198. and plead with the Almighty,

  199. if you are pure and upright,

  200. even now he will rouse himself on your behalf

  201. and restore you to your rightful place.

  202. Job, it's simple.

  203. You can't disconnect your suffering

  204. from your sin.

  205. Verse 11.

  206. Can papyrus grow tall where there is no marsh?

  207. Can reeds thrive without water?

  208. While still growing uncut,

  209. they wither more quickly than grass.

  210. Such is the destiny of all who forget God.

  211. So perishes the hope of the godless.

  212. Job, can't you see what's happening?

  213. Your children suffered because they forgot God

  214. and now you're doing exactly the same.

  215. Verse 20.

  216. Surely God does not reject a blameless man

  217. or strengthen the hands of evildoers.

  218. Sort your life out, Job.

  219. Well, Bildad is convinced that

  220. if you live a godless life,

  221. then things are going to go wrong from you.

  222. Look at chapter 18.

  223. Chapter 18, verse 11.

  224. He's saying here,

  225. if you live a godless life,

  226. then the sign of a godless life is,

  227. well, things are going to go wrong.

  228. Chapter 18, verse 11.

  229. Terrors startle him on every side

  230. and dog him his every step.

  231. Calamity is hungry for him.

  232. Disaster is ready for him when he falls.

  233. And look how these next verses

  234. relate so much to his own suffering.

  235. It eats away parts of his skin.

  236. Death's firstborn devours its limbs.

  237. Verse 18.

  238. He is driven from light into darkness

  239. and is banished from the world.

  240. He has no offspring or descendants among his people.

  241. No survivor where he once lived.

  242. Verse 21.

  243. Surely such is the dwelling of an evil man.

  244. Such is the place of one who knows not God.

  245. And if we think they haven't kicked Job enough,

  246. Bildad is ruthless in his final charge.

  247. Chapter 25, verse 4.

  248. Chapter 25, verse 4.

  249. How then can a man be righteous before God?

  250. How can one born of a woman be pure?

  251. If even the moon is not bright

  252. and the stars are not pure in his eyes,

  253. how much less man who is but a maggot,

  254. a son of man who is only a worm.

  255. Now this way of explaining suffering

  256. is also very common.

  257. I've heard countless pastors and Bible teachers

  258. and let me say very bad Bible teachers

  259. who come up with suggestions and reasons like this

  260. that the reason why the Twin Towers,

  261. that terrorist attack on 9-11 happened

  262. was well because America allows abortion.

  263. And that's why it happened.

  264. In the same way when the tsunami hit Indonesia,

  265. people were coming out saying

  266. it was God's punishment on the awful sex trade

  267. that there is in Indonesia.

  268. Likewise, when the earthquake destroyed Haiti,

  269. people claimed that it was God's judgment

  270. on all the witchcraft and the voodoo

  271. that was going on.

  272. But I ask ourselves the same question,

  273. who are we in this country

  274. to make such judgments on behalf of God?

  275. Are we really any better to the rest of the world

  276. that we have escaped such suffering?

  277. It's a very dangerous line to pursue

  278. and to make quick judgments

  279. that that is what God is doing.

  280. God hasn't said it,

  281. and neither should we.

  282. Well, let's turn to the third friend, Zophar.

  283. We need to go to chapter 11 for that.

  284. His message is also simple.

  285. Wicked people deserve worse.

  286. Zophar is of the belief

  287. that the greater the sin,

  288. the greater the suffering.

  289. So if you sin lots,

  290. well, then you're going to suffer lots.

  291. Look at chapter 11, verse 4.

  292. He's speaking to Job.

  293. He says,

  294. You say to God,

  295. My beliefs are flawless,

  296. and I am pure in your sight.

  297. Oh, how I wish that God would speak,

  298. that he would open his lips against you

  299. and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom,

  300. for true wisdom has two sides.

  301. Know this, Job.

  302. God has even forgotten some of your sin.

  303. In other words, Job,

  304. it's only because God is so patient

  305. that you are not actually suffering more

  306. than what you are.

  307. Verse 13.

  308. Yet if you devote your heart to him

  309. and stretch out your hands to him,

  310. if you put away the sin that is in your hands

  311. and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,

  312. then you will lift up your face without shame.

  313. You will stand firm

  314. and without fear.

  315. But because you're not turning from your wickedness, Job,

  316. look at verse 20.

  317. The eyes of the wicked will fail

  318. and escape will elude them.

  319. Their hope will become a dying gasp.

  320. In other words, Job,

  321. you deserve every bit of suffering that you get.

  322. And once again,

  323. his final speech in verse 20.

  324. He just heaps abuse upon abuse onto poor Job.

    Job 20:22

  325. Chapter 20, verse 22.

  326. This is how he understands

  327. what's happening to Job's life.

  328. Chapter 20, verse 22.

  329. In the midst of his plenty,

  330. distress will overtake him.

  331. The full force of misery will come upon him.

  332. When he has filled his belly,

  333. God will vent his burning anger against him

  334. and rain down his blows upon him.

  335. Verse 27.

  336. The heavens will expose his guilt.

  337. The earth will rise up against him.

  338. A flood will carry off his house,

  339. rushing waters on the day of God's wrath.

  340. Such is the fate God allots the wicked,

  341. the heritage appointed for them by God.

  342. Now, unfortunately,

  343. this is also a common philosophy today.

  344. It goes something like this,

  345. that if you do good,

  346. then good will be returned to you.

  347. In Hinduism, it's called karma.

  348. If you do bad,

  349. then bad will be given out to you.

  350. And even within our own Christian society,

  351. we've imbibed that same kind of belief.

  352. So why is it that when something goes wrong in our life,

  353. we immediately think,

  354. I must have done something wrong

  355. and God is punishing me for it.

  356. Or, if we do something good

  357. and we do lots of good things,

  358. then we sometimes think,

  359. well, maybe God is going to bless me

  360. because I did all these good things.

  361. It's a terrible way of thinking.

  362. God does not respond to us like that.

  363. It's a common way to think,

  364. but it's a very wrong way to think.

  365. So that's the wisdom of Job's three friends.

  366. They have failed to understand

  367. that sometimes our personal sin

  368. is actually not the cause of our suffering.

  369. Sometimes innocent people,

  370. just like Joni that we read about at the beginning

  371. and even Sandra shared at her testimony,

  372. sometimes innocent people suffer

  373. through no fault of their own.

  374. Well, I guess the question

  375. that we are all asking now is,

  376. how do we know

  377. when suffering is related to my sin?

  378. Hmm?

  379. I wonder if somebody wouldn't mind

  380. just running around to our lovely spraying friend

  381. and ask him to go past the door a little bit.

  382. Thanks, Rob, very much.

  383. Maybe he could do the front.

  384. I did give him a cup of tea in Buns,

  385. so it's all right.

  386. We're not out against him.

  387. But there's a question that we're all asking,

  388. isn't there,

  389. that how do we know then

  390. when my suffering is related to my sin?

  391. There is a connection,

  392. but how do I know if it is my sin?

  393. Well, let me give three ways

  394. to understand our suffering

  395. so that whenever we get a headache

  396. or we happen to hit our thumb with the hammer,

  397. we're not immediately thinking,

  398. there's some unconfessed sin in my life.

  399. Three things that we'll look at.

  400. First,

  401. we live in a sinful,

  402. broken world.

  403. Genesis records for us

  404. the good world that God created.

  405. We know the story of how God looked out

  406. on the world

  407. and when he had finished his creation,

  408. he said it was very good.

  409. There was unity

  410. and there was harmony within creation.

  411. But when we get to Genesis 3,

  412. we read that man who was created by God

  413. rebelled against his creator, God.

  414. And the consequences of all that

  415. have been felt ever since.

  416. Now we live in a world

  417. where there's death and disease.

  418. There's disorder

  419. and there's brokenness.

  420. Life doesn't work the way it's meant to.

  421. The cogs in the wheels

  422. have got stuck and jammed

  423. and everything grinds and twists

  424. with terrible suffering.

  425. That's why we have earthquakes

  426. and tornadoes and tsunamis.

  427. That's why we have mindless,

  428. violent attacks on children

  429. like we saw in Toulouse this week.

  430. That's why we have terrible tragedies

  431. like the recent bus crash in Switzerland.

  432. Sometimes suffering happens

  433. not because of our specific sin,

  434. but simply because we live in a broken

  435. and a disordered world.

  436. In John's Gospel,

  437. the disciples came to Jesus

  438. on one occasion

  439. and tried to make this connection

  440. between personal sin and suffering.

  441. There was this man

  442. who was blind from birth

  443. and the disciples asked him,

  444. chapter 9, verse 1 of John's Gospel,

  445. his disciples asked him,

  446. Rabbi, who sinned,

  447. this man or his parents,

  448. that he was born blind?

  449. Listen to Jesus' reply.

  450. Neither this man nor his parents sinned.

  451. But Jesus said,

  452. this happened so that the work of God

  453. might be displayed in his life.

  454. You see, sometimes suffering happens

  455. simply because we live

  456. in a broken and a disordered world.

  457. Secondly, then,

  458. we are not treated

  459. as our sins deserve.

  460. We're not treated

  461. as our sins deserve.

  462. One of the underlying questions

  463. that comes out of the book of Job,

  464. and indeed it's raised in the whole Bible,

  465. is not,

  466. why do I suffer?

  467. But why do I not suffer more?

  468. That's the real question.

  469. Not why do I suffer,

  470. but why do I not suffer more?

  471. The reality is,

  472. we are actually more wicked

  473. and more rebellious

  474. than we realise.

  475. And the history of the world

  476. in which we live

  477. is a catalogue of disaster.

  478. Wars and genocide,

  479. greed and corruption,

  480. unjust leaders

  481. and power-hungry leaders.

  482. There's the abuse of children,

  483. trafficking of women,

  484. the oppression of the poor,

  485. relationship fallout,

  486. marriage breakdown,

  487. anger, hate,

  488. slander and lies.

  489. And it goes on

  490. day after day after day.

  491. So the question

  492. is not,

  493. why do we suffer?

  494. But why is God

  495. so patient and long-suffering

  496. with us

  497. and with this world?

  498. If God was being just,

  499. he would wipe us all out

  500. and the world would end.

  501. That's the real surprise.

  502. Well, why is God

  503. so long-suffering

  504. and patient with us?

  505. Well, the answer comes

  506. through the Bible story

  507. as he shows his character.

  508. If you want,

  509. you can turn to Psalm 103.

  510. We actually sang

  511. from this psalm earlier on.

  512. Psalm 103,

    Psalms 103:8

  513. verse 8.

  514. verse 8 of Psalm 103,

  515. the Lord is compassionate

  516. and gracious,

  517. slow to anger,

  518. abounding in love.

  519. He will not always accuse,

  520. nor will he harbor

  521. his anger forever.

  522. He does not treat us

  523. as our sins deserve,

  524. or repay us

  525. according to our iniquities.

  526. For as high as the heavens

  527. are above the earth,

  528. so great is his love

  529. for those who fear him.

  530. As far as the east

  531. is from the west,

  532. so far has he removed

  533. our transgressions from us.

  534. As a father has compassion

  535. on his children,

  536. so the Lord has compassion

  537. on those who fear him.

  538. Of course,

  539. that love and compassion

  540. is shown supremely

  541. on the cross,

  542. the place where God died

  543. for my sin

  544. and for your sin.

  545. The God who suffered

  546. for you

  547. and for me.

  548. So we live in a sinful

  549. and broken world.

  550. Second,

  551. we're not treated

  552. as our sins deserve.

  553. And third,

  554. we can look forward

  555. to a world

  556. without sin.

  557. God made a good world.

  558. We see that in Genesis 3

  559. and he's promised

  560. to renew

  561. and restore

  562. this sin-infested,

  563. broken world.

  564. God promises

  565. that there is a world

  566. to come

  567. that's going to be

  568. without sin

  569. and without suffering.

  570. However,

  571. between this point

  572. where we are now

  573. and the point

  574. of Christ's return,

  575. he also promises us

  576. that there will be suffering

  577. and that we should

  578. expect suffering.

  579. But to give us hope

  580. and to help us

  581. through our journey

  582. in this life,

  583. he gives us

  584. these pictures

  585. of this wonderful promise

  586. to all those

  587. who will turn to him

  588. and those

  589. who will trust him.

  590. One of those pictures

  591. is found in Isaiah

    Isaiah 65 chapter mention

  592. chapter 65.

  593. And all I ask

  594. is just that you

  595. just be quiet

  596. for a minute

  597. and just listen

  598. to these words here

  599. that paint a picture

  600. of a world

  601. without sin

  602. and without suffering.

  603. Just meditate

  604. and think

  605. on these words.

  606. behold,

  607. I will create

  608. new heavens

  609. and a new earth.

  610. The former things

  611. will not be remembered

  612. nor will they come

  613. to mind.

  614. But be glad

  615. and rejoice

  616. forever

  617. in what I will create.

  618. For I will create

  619. Jerusalem

  620. to be a delight,

  621. its people

  622. a joy.

  623. I will rejoice

  624. over Jerusalem

  625. and take delight

  626. in my people.

  627. And the sound

  628. of weeping

  629. and of crying

  630. will be heard

  631. in it no more.

  632. Never again

  633. will there be in it

  634. an infant

  635. who lives

  636. but a few days.

  637. An old man

  638. who does not

  639. live out his years.

  640. And we can add

  641. to that

  642. there will be

  643. no more shootings

  644. in Toulouse

  645. and there will be

  646. no more sudden death

  647. of a nephew.

  648. They will not

  649. toil in vain

  650. or bear children

  651. doomed to misfortune

  652. for they will be

  653. a people blessed

  654. by the Lord.

  655. They and their

  656. descendants with them.

  657. Before they call

  658. I will answer.

  659. While they are

  660. still speaking

  661. I will hear.

  662. The wolf

  663. and the lamb

  664. will feed together.

  665. And the lion

  666. and the ox

  667. will eat straw.

  668. But dust

  669. will be

  670. the serpent's food.

  671. They will neither

  672. harm nor destroy

  673. on all my

  674. holy mountain

  675. says

  676. the Lord.

  677. Let's pray

  678. together.

  679. Let's pray

  680. together.

  681. Let's pray

  682. together.

  683. Let's pray

  684. together.

  685. Let's pray

  686. together.

  687. Let's pray

  688. Father

  689. we thank you

  690. for this

  691. amazing picture

  692. that one day

  693. there will be

  694. no more

  695. weeping

  696. no more

  697. crying

  698. there will be

  699. no more

  700. sin

  701. and there

  702. will be

  703. no more

  704. suffering

  705. things will

  706. never go

  707. wrong

  708. there will be

  709. no wheel

  710. chairs

  711. and there

  712. will never be

  713. another car

  714. crash

  715. we thank you

  716. that one

  717. day

  718. Christ

  719. will come

  720. and he

  721. will put

  722. all things

  723. right

  724. we thank you

  725. that you do

  726. not treat

  727. us

  728. as our

  729. sins

  730. deserve

  731. but we

  732. praise you

  733. and we

  734. thank you

  735. that you

  736. have entered

  737. our suffering

  738. world

  739. to do

  740. something

  741. about it

  742. help us

  743. with the

  744. eyes of

  745. faith

  746. to look

  747. to the

  748. Lord

  749. Jesus

  750. help us

  751. to trust

  752. him

  753. help us

  754. to walk

  755. with him

  756. and we

  757. pray this

  758. in Jesus

  759. name

  760. amen

  761. before we

  762. share together

  763. around the

  764. Lord's

  765. supper

  766. we're going

  767. to sing

  768. a song

  769. that

  770. it's the

  771. next song

  772. could you

  773. go on

  774. to

  775. yep

  776. there's a

  777. place

  778. where the

  779. streets

  780. shine

  781. it points

  782. us forward

  783. to a

  784. world

  785. without

  786. sin

  787. and a

  788. world

  789. without

  790. suffering

  791. and the

  792. chorus

  793. reminds us

  794. that all

  795. our sins

  796. have been

  797. washed

  798. away

  799. and that

  800. is why

  801. we have

  802. that hope

  803. let's

  804. stand

  805. together

  806. as we

  807. encourage
