    Daniel 7 chapter mention

  5. And Kirsty is going to come and read for us.

  6. So, chapter 7, verses 1 to 15.

  7. In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying on his bed.

  8. He wrote down the substance of his dream.

  9. Daniel said,

  10. In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea.

  11. Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.

  12. The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle.

  13. I watched until its wings were torn off, and it was lifted from the ground, so that it stood on two feet like a man, and the heart of a man was given to it.

  14. And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear.

  15. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth.

  16. It was told,

  17. Get up and eat your fill of flesh.

  18. After that, I looked, and there before me was another beast, one that looked like a leopard, and on its back it had four wings like those of a bird.

  19. This beast had four heads, and it was given authority to rule.

  20. After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast, terrifying and frightening and very powerful.

  21. It had large iron teeth.

  22. It crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left.

  23. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

  24. While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them.

  25. And three of the first horns were uprooted before it.

  26. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouse that spoke boastfully.

  27. As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat.

  28. His clothing was as white as snow.

  29. The hair of his head was white like wool.

  30. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

  31. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him.

  32. Thousands upon thousands attended him.

  33. Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.

  34. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

  35. Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking.

  36. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.

  37. The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.

  38. In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven.

  39. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

  40. He was given authority, glory, and sovereign power.

  41. All peoples, nations, and men of every language worshipped him.

  42. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

  43. I, Daniel, was troubled in spirit, and the visions that passed through my mind disturbed me.

  44. Thank you.

  45. Thank you.

  46. Thank you.

  47. Thank you.

  48. Thank you.

  49. Thank you.

  50. Thank you.

  51. Thank you, Kirsty.

  52. Well, let's pray and ask for God's help.

  53. Thank you.

  54. Thank you.

  55. Our Father God, we thank you for your word.

  56. We thank you for this book of Daniel.

  57. And as we read through it, we perhaps read things that are hard and difficult to understand.

  58. And therefore, we ask for the help of your Holy Spirit to open up our minds that we may understand intellectually.

  59. But also, we ask that you would, by your Spirit, open up our hearts so that we may see how this applies to us today.

  60. Father, we pray that none of us will leave this morning without being clear about our God, who rules and reigns for all eternity.

  61. Father, we pray that we may be clear about our God, who rules and reigns for all eternity.

  62. Father, we pray that we may be clear about our God, who rules and reigns for all eternity.

  63. We pray that this would cause us to trust you all the more, to find our security and to find our hope in you.

  64. Amen.

  65. Amen.

  66. We ask this in Jesus' name.

  67. Amen.

  68. Amen.

  69. Well, apocalypse now.

  70. It seems like Daniel has been eating too much cheese again.

  71. His dreams are becoming rather bizarre.

  72. We might even think that he's been on the magic mushrooms, because what Daniel sees in his vision is right up there with the weird and the wonderful.

  73. But don't worry.

  74. Daniel is not partial to the odd joint.

  75. Chapter 7 through to chapter 12 is what scholars call apocalyptic literature.

  76. Now, I don't want that to put you off in any way, and it might sound strange, and maybe you've heard about it before, and you're a little worried about it and a little scared by it.

  77. But really, it's a form or a type of writing that uses all kinds of imagery and language to tell us what is happening and what will happen.

  78. Apocalypse simply means revelation.

  79. It reveals things to us.

  80. So these visions that we have from chapter 7 to chapter 12 reveal something to us.

  81. They tell us something.

  82. They tell us two things.

  83. First, what is going on in the world?

  84. First, what is going on in the world?

  85. He's living in a time where there is great opposition to God and great persecution of God's people.

  86. So these visions that he gets right the way through to the end of the book are there to provide encouragement for him and for us to say to us that when it's hard to be a Christian,

  87. when we face opposition, God has not abandoned the world.

  88. God has all things in control now and in the future.

  89. So what does this vision reveal to us?

  90. Well, we're going to look at two big ideas.

  91. The first is this.

  92. The vision reveals to us the beast.

  93. What is going on in the world?

  94. Let's read verse 2.

  95. Daniel said,

  96. Now, the scene here is wild and scary and it's meant to be.

  97. As it says in verse 15, if it disturbed Daniel, it's meant to disturb us.

  98. Well, what does he see?

  99. Verse 4.

  100. The first beast, he says, was like a lion and it had the wings of an eagle.

  101. So this is a ferocious beast.

  102. And with its wings on its back, it seems to be able to go wherever it wills, doing as it pleases.

  103. But with all its might, its power is quickly removed.

  104. We're told its wings are torn off and he is given the heart of a man.

  105. He is stripped of all his power.

  106. Why?

  107. Well, because another beast has come to take its place.

  108. Verse 5.

  109. And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear.

  110. It was raised up on one of its sides.

  111. So we could imagine it standing up on its hind legs with its paws or its claws coming out before him.

  112. And it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth.

  113. This beast is also ferocious.

  114. But it's devouring and eating all that is around and it is not content.

  115. Look at the end of verse 5.

  116. It was told, get up and eat your fill of flesh.

  117. This beast is not satisfied until all he sees has been destroyed and consumed.

  118. But as great as that beast is, he too meets his match.

  119. Another beast has come to take its place.

  120. Verse 6.

  121. After that I looked and there before me was another beast.

  122. One that looked like a leopard.

  123. And on its back it had four wings like those of a bird.

  124. So this beast moves more quickly than the others.

  125. And it acts unexpectedly with great speed.

  126. End of verse 6.

  127. This beast had four heads.

  128. And it was given authority to rule.

  129. Its four heads meaning that it can look in every direction.

  130. Looking for its next prey.

  131. Ruling over everything that it can see.

  132. And if all that is not wild and scary enough.

  133. Look at verse 7.

  134. After that in my vision at night I looked and there before me was a fourth beast.

  135. Terrifying and frightening and very powerful.

  136. Did you notice as we went through that each of the beasts becomes more terrifying and more powerful than the one before.

  137. And this last beast is not like anything.

  138. You can't compare it to any kind of wild animal.

  139. It stands in a class of its own.

  140. Look at the rest of verse 7.

  141. It had large iron teeth.

  142. It crushed and devoured its victims.

  143. And trampled underfoot whatever was left.

  144. It was different from all the former beasts.

  145. And it had ten horns.

  146. What was it all about?

  147. Well Daniel tells us.

  148. Look at verse 16.

  149. I approached one of those standing there and asked him the true meaning of all this.

  150. So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things.

  151. The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth.

  152. Now most scholars agree that these beasts represent the four great kingdoms or four great empires of the past.

  153. The lion represented the Babylonian empire.

  154. The bear, the Persian empire.

  155. So we've met those two great empires already through the book of Daniel.

  156. The leopard was the next great empire which was the Greek empire.

  157. And the last beast which we read in verse 7 was the Roman empire.

  158. But each empire as we move through time becomes bigger and stronger and more powerful than the one before.

  159. They are, as the beasts are described, they were there devouring whatever was before them.

  160. Expanding their borders with a terrible ruthlessness.

  161. Trampling on the nations around them and incorporating them in to their own empires.

  162. Daniel, of course, has already met the full weight of the Babylonian empire.

  163. So as he receives this vision, if he thinks it's bad under Babylon,

  164. then it's going to be nothing compared to what lies in the future with the empires that are to come.

  165. Things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get any better.

  166. Now what Daniel sees in these visions is really just a pattern that is repeated continually throughout history right up to the present day.

  167. We continually have one empire or one kingdom or one nation becoming greater and bigger than all the rest.

  168. Nations and rulers are still set on conquest, on conflict and control.

  169. So just think for a minute about the last 100 years of our history.

  170. As the great Ottoman Empire, modern day Turkey, as it came to an end and to a decline of its vastness,

  171. it came with great cruelty.

  172. One historian notes that on the 24th of April 1915,

  173. 600,000 Armenians were brutally killed in one day.

  174. Some with their heads placed in vices and squeezed until their heads collapsed.

  175. As Japan sought to expand its territory, it massacred thousands of innocent people.

  176. On what became known as Black Friday, Japanese troops went through Alexandra Hospital in Singapore

  177. and bayoneted all the patients, all the doctors and all the nurses

  178. and then tied hundreds of Chinese hand to hand and massacred them on the beaches.

  179. Stalin's Russia sought to flex her muscles in attempts to provide food for all the troops

  180. and enough resources for all of his people.

  181. And to squash any kind of rebellion, he ordered the Ukrainian peasants to provide more food that they could grow.

  182. And because of his ruthless control, almost 7 million Ukrainians starved to death.

  183. Hitler and his Nazi Germany trampled across the continent of Europe,

  184. exterminating 6 million Jews and 5 million other so-called undesirables,

  185. stripped, beaten, forced into the gas chambers because shooting them was too slow and it took too long.

  186. In later years, we've seen the terror of beastly figures like Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe,

  187. who literally and physically smashed and clubbed their own people to death,

  188. cutting off their limbs and letting them bleed out.

  189. Or Saddam Hussein, who on the 16th of March 1988 dropped chemical bombs,

  190. killing 5,000 Kurds, letting them burn and blister before they died.

  191. But that's all in the past, isn't it?

  192. These sort of crimes and wars don't happen anymore, do they?

  193. Well, today we turn on the news and we see the rise of an even uglier beast in the form of ISIS.

  194. With an army of 40,000 strong, they are massacring hundreds, raping at will,

  195. cutting off heads, sticking them on railings to spread fear and terror.

  196. You see, the beast that Daniel saw is what we continue to see in our generation.

  197. Kingdoms replace kingdoms.

  198. The next one that arises is always more terrifying and frightening.

  199. Kings replace kings, crushing and devouring and trampling their victims underfoot.

  200. With all that man says about how mankind is developing and becoming more mature and more sophisticated,

  201. let's not pretend that our world is good and beautiful.

  202. The world we live in is ugly, nasty, brutal and beastly.

  203. This is what is going on in our world all the time.

  204. But as Daniel looks in his vision, it becomes more specific.

  205. Because it seems these three beasts that we read in Daniel chapter 7

    Daniel 7 chapter mention

  206. are especially opposed to God's people.

  207. Look at verse 23.

  208. He gave me this explanation.

  209. The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth.

  210. It will be different from all the other kingdoms

  211. and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.

  212. In this context, this fourth beast was the Roman Empire.

  213. One of the largest empires the world has ever seen

  214. as it did go and crush its enemies.

  215. And what did it do?

  216. Well, look at verse 25.

  217. He, that is, the leaders, the kings of this, or the emperors of this empire,

  218. will speak against the Most High, that is, God,

  219. and oppress his saints, God's people,

  220. and try to change the set times,

  221. that is, do away with times of worship

  222. and change the laws.

  223. The saints, God's people, will be handed over to him

  224. for a time, times and half a time.

  225. So for a set period of time,

  226. they will be under this terrible oppression.

  227. To be a Christian and live in the Roman Empire

  228. was dangerous for 250 years.

  229. You were lucky to survive and live

  230. if you were a Christian in the Roman Empire.

  231. Rulers such as Nero,

  232. one of the first great empires to arrive on the scene,

  233. hated Christians.

  234. He's the one to blame for the great fire of Rome

  235. on the Christians.

  236. There was a great fire and he said the Christians had done it

  237. and he killed them.

  238. He was also notorious for his crucifixions

  239. and burning Christians as torches

  240. for his garden parties.

  241. And the ten kings that we read about,

  242. or the ten horns that we read about in this passage,

  243. if you look at the Roman Empire,

  244. there were ten great periods of persecution.

  245. You can look that up and find it out for yourself.

  246. But every empire, one ruler after another,

  247. created great opposition and persecution to God's people.

  248. This is what happened.

  249. But this is what continues to happen all across the world.

  250. Kings and kingdoms speak against God and oppose his people.

  251. Nations ban the worship of God.

  252. They say they're not allowed to meet together like we are today.

  253. rulers make having a Bible illegal.

  254. Laws are put in place to deliberately discriminate against God's people.

  255. Everywhere throughout the world,

  256. God's people, the saints,

  257. are opposed and oppressed.

  258. The vision of Daniel is crystal clear.

  259. The world we live in is a beastly place to live.

  260. And it's especially beastly if you are a Christian.

  261. So that's the first thing Daniel sees.

  262. What is going on in the world.

  263. The second thing Daniel sees is the beauty.

  264. What God will do in the world.

  265. Look back to verse 8.

  266. While I was thinking about the horns,

  267. there before me was another horn, a little one,

  268. which came up among them.

  269. And three of the first horns were uprooted before it.

  270. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man

  271. and a mouth that spoke boastfully.

  272. And as I looked,

  273. thrones were set in place.

  274. And the Ancient of Days took his seat.

  275. You see, before we even have a chance

  276. to figure out who or what this little horn is all about,

  277. the vision changes tact.

  278. All of a sudden, the focus moves from the beast

  279. to the beauty.

  280. From the terrifying and frightening

  281. to majesty and glory.

  282. Look at verse 9.

  283. The Ancient of Days takes his seat.

  284. The Ancient of Days is the God who created the universe,

  285. who exists from before time began.

  286. And here he arrives and he takes centre stage

  287. as he sits on his throne.

  288. What will he do?

  289. What's going to happen?

  290. Well, first,

  291. he will bring universal judgement.

  292. Look at verse 9.

  293. We're told that his clothing was white as snow.

  294. The hair of his head was white like wool.

  295. A sign of his absolute purity.

  296. No fault can be found in him.

  297. No charge is levelled against him.

  298. And his purity is matched by his awesome power.

  299. Look at the rest of verse 9.

  300. His throne was flaming with fire.

  301. And its wheels were all ablaze.

  302. A river of fire was flowing,

  303. coming out from before him.

  304. The rivers of fire around the throne

  305. dispel any thought of frailty or inability.

  306. There is no weakness here.

  307. This is absolute raw power.

  308. Thousands upon thousands attended him.

  309. Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.

  310. This infinite number of people who are gathered around the throne,

  311. who attend him,

  312. display his supreme control,

  313. that he rules over all things.

  314. No one dares speak.

  315. All are transfixed on this pure and powerful one

  316. who is sitting on the throne.

  317. And what happens?

  318. Look at the end of verse 10.

  319. The court was seated.

  320. And the books were opened.

  321. Universal judgement is about to take place.

  322. All that has ever been done

  323. is accounted for.

  324. Every act has been seen.

  325. Every word has been heard.

  326. Everything in history

  327. has been written down in the book

  328. and it has been recorded.

  329. Everyone who has ever lived

  330. must listen.

  331. All has been weighed.

  332. And now judgement

  333. is about to begin.

  334. What else will happen?

  335. There will be eternal punishment.

  336. Look at verse 11.

  337. Then I continued to watch

  338. because of the boastful words

  339. the horn was speaking

  340. to one of the great kings of this empire.

  341. And you could imagine like,

  342. well, God may judge

  343. but you're not going to judge me.

  344. I'm the one who rules over this great empire.

  345. Nobody's going to take over me.

  346. I kept looking

  347. until the beast was slain

  348. and its body destroyed

  349. and thrown into the blazing fire.

  350. The other beasts

  351. had been stripped of their authority

  352. but they were allowed to live

  353. for a period of time.

  354. But their end would come also.

  355. There is no appeal here.

  356. There is no chance of reprieve.

  357. It's final

  358. and it's eternal.

  359. The beasts who have wrecked havoc,

  360. destroyed nations,

  361. trampled their victims underfoot,

  362. are punished once and for all,

  363. destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire,

  364. completely destroyed,

  365. never to rise again.

  366. Justice

  367. is done.

  368. So what will take place

  369. or what will take the place

  370. of these terrible beasts

  371. and their terrifying rule?

  372. Well, he goes on to tell us

  373. that there will be a king

  374. and a kingdom

  375. in their place.

  376. Verse 13.

  377. In my vision at night

  378. I looked and there before me

  379. was one like

  380. a son of man.

  381. Not beastly

  382. but like a human.

  383. One like a son of man.

  384. Coming with the clouds

  385. of heaven

  386. which symbolise

  387. that he comes with

  388. divine status.

  389. So we might call him

  390. a God

  391. man.

  392. And he approached

  393. the Ancient of Days

  394. and was led

  395. into his presence

  396. not to be judged,

  397. not to be punished

  398. but,

  399. verse 14,

  400. to be given authority,

  401. glory

  402. and sovereign power.

  403. This God

  404. man

  405. has absolute power

  406. and supreme authority.

  407. He rules

  408. and he controls

  409. all things.

  410. Here is an eternal

  411. universal king

  412. whose strength

  413. and wisdom

  414. is infinite.

  415. And all peoples,

  416. verse 14,

  417. nations and men

  418. of every language

  419. worshipped him.

  420. Instead of running

  421. in fear

  422. from the beast

  423. they now stop

  424. and bow

  425. and worship

  426. worship

  427. the one

  428. with amazing

  429. beauty.

  430. Why?

  431. Look at the end

  432. of verse 14

  433. because his dominion

  434. is an everlasting

  435. dominion

  436. that will not

  437. pass away

  438. and his kingdom

  439. is one

  440. that will never

  441. be destroyed.

  442. In place

  443. of those

  444. beastly rulers

  445. comes a king

  446. who rules

  447. with power

  448. and authority.

  449. in place

  450. of those

  451. cruel nations

  452. comes a kingdom

  453. that is marked

  454. by peace

  455. and justice.

  456. A kingdom

  457. that is never

  458. to be destroyed.

  459. A kingdom

  460. that is eternal

  461. and one

  462. that is universal.

  463. But what about

  464. God's people

  465. in the midst

  466. of all of this?

  467. What will happen

  468. to them?

  469. Well Daniel's

  470. vision

  471. is given

  472. we are given

  473. a deeper insight.

  474. Look at verse 26.

  475. What happens

  476. to God's people

  477. at this time?

  478. We're told

  479. the court

  480. will sit

  481. and his power

  482. that is

  483. the beast's power

  484. will be taken away

  485. and completely

  486. destroyed forever.

  487. Then the

  488. sovereignty

  489. power

  490. and greatness

  491. of the kingdoms

  492. under the whole

  493. heaven

  494. will be handed

  495. over to the saints

  496. the people

  497. of the most high.

  498. What a beautiful

  499. picture we have

  500. there.

  501. The saints

  502. God's people

  503. who have been

  504. opposed

  505. and tortured

  506. and persecuted

  507. throughout history

  508. who have been

  509. imprisoned

  510. who have been

  511. separated

  512. from loved ones

  513. who have been

  514. broken

  515. who have been

  516. destroyed

  517. who have been

  518. inflicted

  519. all the saints

  520. throughout history

  521. will become

  522. rulers

  523. with the most

  524. high.

  525. The power

  526. and greatness

  527. of the kingdoms

  528. under the whole

  529. heaven

  530. will be handed

  531. over to the saints

  532. the people

  533. of the most high.

  534. His kingdom

  535. will be an

  536. everlasting kingdom

  537. and all the

  538. rulers will

  539. worship

  540. and obey

  541. him.

  542. This king

  543. will not

  544. abandon

  545. his people

  546. despite

  547. everything

  548. they have

  549. been through

  550. he is going

  551. to take

  552. them to

  553. his kingdom

  554. to be with

  555. him

  556. forever

  557. and forever.

  558. That's what

  559. God is going

  560. to do.

  561. But let's

  562. ask the question

  563. how do we

  564. know

  565. this will

  566. happen?

  567. How do we

  568. know this is

  569. going to

  570. happen?

  571. How do we

  572. know God

  573. is going

  574. to do

  575. all of

  576. this

  577. that he's

  578. going to

  579. bring

  580. his kingdom

  581. in?

  582. Well

  583. 2000 years

  584. ago

  585. a man

  586. walked

  587. on this

  588. earth

  589. who did

  590. the kinds

  591. of things

  592. that only

  593. God

  594. could do.

  595. he began

  596. to heal

  597. people.

  598. He began

  599. to raise

  600. the dead.

  601. He controlled

  602. nature with

  603. just a word.

  604. A man

  605. who did

  606. what only

  607. God could

  608. do.

  609. His name

  610. we know

  611. is Jesus

  612. and yet

  613. he repeatedly

  614. referred to

  615. himself as

  616. the

  617. son of

  618. man.

  619. Jesus

  620. knew the

  621. vision of

  622. Daniel 7

  623. and he

  624. knew that

  625. he was

  626. verse 13

  627. the one

  628. like a

  629. son of

  630. man who

  631. was given

  632. authority and

  633. glory and

  634. sovereign power.

  635. In fact

  636. when Jesus

  637. faced his

  638. own beastly

  639. execution and

  640. trial under

  641. the Roman

  642. Empire we

  643. read this

  644. keep your

  645. finger in

  646. Daniel 7

  647. but just

  648. flick forward

  649. to Mark

    Mark 14 chapter mention

  650. chapter 14.

  651. So Jesus

  652. knew what

  653. it was to

  654. be under

  655. the beast

  656. of the

  657. Roman Empire

  658. and their

  659. terrible

  660. persecution

  661. and opposition.

  662. Mark 14

    Mark 14:61

  663. verse 61.

  664. So here's

  665. Jesus just

  666. before his

  667. execution his

  668. trial has

  669. begun.

  670. The end of

  671. verse 61 he's

  672. asked the

  673. question are

  674. you the

  675. Christ the

  676. son of the

  677. blessed one?

  678. Are you

  679. are you God?

  680. Do you say

  681. your God?

  682. I am

  683. said Jesus

  684. and you

  685. will see

  686. the son

  687. of man

  688. sitting at

  689. the right

  690. hand of

  691. the mighty

  692. one and

  693. coming on

  694. the clouds

  695. of heaven.

  696. Today

  697. Jesus is

  698. saying to

  699. them you

  700. judge me

  701. me.

  702. But a

  703. day will

  704. come when

  705. I will

  706. judge you.

  707. One day

  708. you will

  709. stand before

  710. my throne

  711. because I

  712. am the

  713. son of

  714. man with

  715. all power

  716. and all

  717. authority

  718. and you

  719. along with

  720. all creation

  721. will be

  722. silent and

  723. listen to

  724. me.

  725. Jesus'

  726. words were

  727. not just

  728. empty.

  729. He proved

  730. what he

  731. said as

  732. he rose

  733. from the

  734. grave.

  735. With

  736. absolute

  737. power and

  738. supreme

  739. authority

  740. Jesus defeated

  741. and destroyed

  742. his enemy

  743. and he

  744. reigns and

  745. he rules

  746. and one

  747. day he

  748. is going

  749. to come

  750. again on

  751. the clouds

  752. of heaven.

  753. And one

  754. day we

  755. too will

  756. face this

  757. son of

  758. man.

  759. One day

  760. we will

  761. all be

  762. gathered and

  763. we will

  764. stand before

  765. his throne

  766. and judgment

  767. will take

  768. place.

  769. But for

  770. the saints

  771. for those

  772. who love

  773. him for

  774. those who

  775. worship him

  776. for those

  777. who follow

  778. him and

  779. entrust

  780. their lives

  781. to the

  782. son of

  783. man Jesus

  784. Christ the

  785. one with

  786. all power

  787. and all

  788. authority

  789. they will

  790. not face

  791. the eternal

  792. punishment

  793. instead

  794. Daniel chapter

    Daniel 7:18

  795. 7 verse

  796. 18 the

  797. saints of

  798. the most

  799. high will

  800. receive the

  801. kingdom and

  802. will possess

  803. it forever

  804. yes forever

  805. and forever

  806. this is what

  807. God will

  808. do

  809. this is

  810. what will

  811. happen

  812. the beauty

  813. with all

  814. his glory

  815. and all

  816. his power

  817. will come

  818. again and

  819. destroy once

  820. and for

  821. all the

  822. terrifying

  823. and frightening

  824. beast

  825. let's

  826. pray

  827. father we

  828. see an

  829. amazing

  830. vision

  831. in your

  832. words

  833. something that

  834. terrifies us

  835. as we look

  836. out on the

  837. world and

  838. see the wars

  839. the violence

  840. the aggression

  841. of one nation

  842. towards another

  843. the rise of

  844. rulers

  845. and the

  846. things that

  847. they do

  848. to people

  849. but yet

  850. we also

  851. see in

  852. this vision

  853. the beauty

  854. and the

  855. glory

  856. of a

  857. mighty

  858. king

  859. one who

  860. did not

  861. stay

  862. immune to

  863. the suffering

  864. but one

  865. that entered

  866. in

  867. we thank

  868. you that

  869. one day

  870. the risen

  871. Lord Jesus

  872. will come

  873. again

  874. on the

  875. clouds of

  876. heaven with

  877. all power

  878. and authority

  879. and glory

  880. and every

  881. eye will

  882. see him

  883. and everyone

  884. will know

  885. that he

  886. has come

  887. universal

  888. judgment

  889. will happen

  890. and those

  891. who have

  892. been against

  893. him

  894. will be

  895. punished

  896. eternally

  897. but those

  898. who trust

  899. him

  900. will live

  901. forever

  902. in his

  903. kingdom

  904. and will

  905. rule over

  906. the nations

  907. and the

  908. kingdoms of

  909. this earth

  910. forever

  911. and forever

  912. we praise

  913. you and

  914. thank you

  915. that you

  916. are a

  917. great

  918. God

  919. we bow

  920. and we

  921. worship

  922. you

  923. and trust

  924. you with

  925. all of our

  926. lives

  927. amen

  928. we're going

  929. to sing

  930. in response

  931. to what

  932. we've been

  933. you

  934. you

  935. you

  936. you

  937. you

  938. you

  939. you

  940. you

  941. you

  942. you
