  1. So Luke 13, 1-9, and that's page 1046.

  2. Now there are some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans,

  3. whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

  4. Jesus answered,

  5. Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?

  6. I tell you no, but unless you repent, you too will all perish.

  7. Or those 18 who died when the Tower of Siloam fell on them,

  8. do you think that they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?

  9. I tell you no, but unless you repent, you too will all perish.

  10. Then he told this parable.

  11. A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but he did not find any.

  12. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard,

  13. For three years now I have been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any.

  14. Cut it down. Why should it use up the soil?

  15. Sir, the man replied,

  16. Leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig it round and fertilise it.

  17. If it bears fruit next year, fine.

  18. If not, then cut it down.

  19. Let's start.

  20. Respect.

  21. Thank you.

  22. Four parables from the Gospel of Luke, and each one of them have a theme to do with the coming again of the Lord Jesus,

  23. or in some way how the return of the Lord Jesus should affect us in our lives.

  24. This morning we're looking at Luke chapter 13, verses 1 to 9,

    Luke 13:1–9

  25. and it's that kind of parable and the surrounding conversation with Jesus that raises all sorts of questions.

  26. Now, I'm going to say I'm not going to answer every possible question that may arise from it,

  27. so you may want to talk to me afterwards or talk to other people,

  28. but we will try and work through the text as best as possible.

  29. So let's ask for God's help as we do that together.

  30. Our Father God, again, we thank you for your word and for its truth,

  31. and yet we realize that in reading your truth,

  32. it raises many questions and confronts us with difficult things.

  33. And so we pray as we read it that we would have understanding with our minds.

  34. You would give us acceptance in our hearts,

  35. and that you would cause us to live and to submit our lives rightly before you

  36. to all that we hear from you.

  37. We pray that the coming of the Lord Jesus

  38. would shape us

  39. and change us into the kind of people you would have us be.

  40. We pray it in your name and for your glory.

  41. Amen.

  42. Amen.

  43. Amen.

  44. The other morning I woke up very early.

  45. It's not a usual habit of mine,

  46. but I did on this particular morning,

  47. and I wasn't able to get back to sleep.

  48. So I went downstairs to catch up on some blogs that I like to read.

  49. One caught my attention.

  50. It was entitled,

  51. Live Each Day As If It Were Your Last.

  52. And as I read through it,

  53. it directed me to take part in what was called the UBLE test,

  54. U-B-B-L-E,

  55. if you're interested.

  56. And through a series of questions,

  57. the UBLE test claims to predict your chances of being alive over the next five years.

  58. So I completed the questionnaire,

  59. which asked various things about my lifestyle,

  60. my health,

  61. and apparently I have a 0.4% chance of dying in the next five years.

  62. That's pretty good, I thought.

  63. But for all its scientific research and medical claims,

  64. I have no idea what my lifespan is.

  65. Today might be my last day.

  66. I might have another 50 years.

  67. Who knows?

  68. So perhaps there is some truth in the title of the blog,

  69. Live Each Day As If It Were Your Very Last.

  70. Now in some sense,

  71. that's what Jesus seems to be teaching us

  72. through this text of Luke 13, 1-9.

  73. Not because I don't know how long I'm going to live,

  74. but because when we die,

  75. we will all have an encounter with King Jesus.

  76. Three things we're going to look at together,

  77. three big ideas that we learn from this text.

  78. The first one is this.

  79. The inescapable reality of death.

  80. The fact is,

  81. while none of us like to talk about it,

  82. is that death is not far from any one of us.

  83. Have a look at verse 1.

  84. Now there were some present at that time

  85. who told Jesus about the Galileans

  86. whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

  87. Now we don't know the exact details of what went on,

  88. but it was clear there was a terrible act of violence.

  89. Pilate, of course, was the Roman ruler in charge

  90. and he ruled with an iron fist.

  91. Some Galileans back up in Jerusalem

  92. had gone to the temple to worship

  93. and as they went about their worship,

  94. they were massacred by Pilate

  95. for no other reason than they seemed to be

  96. in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  97. Instead of animals being sacrificed,

  98. people have been slaughtered.

  99. It's what dictators do to keep power.

  100. One minute they are going to worship God,

  101. the next their life ends violently.

  102. Now this has obviously raised some important questions

  103. for these people

  104. and they're coming to Jesus with it

  105. as if to say,

  106. why?

  107. Why has that happened?

  108. But rather than give them a direct answer,

  109. Jesus goes on to talk about another tragedy

  110. in verse 4.

  111. He says, as if to say,

  112. haven't you heard about those 18

  113. who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them?

  114. Again, we don't know how it happened

  115. or what went on,

  116. but a tower which was part of the city wall

  117. had collapsed.

  118. And 18 people who happened to be in there

  119. at that time

  120. had their lives tragically cut short.

  121. One minute going about their normal day,

  122. the next their life is suddenly taken.

  123. We're faced with this reality every day

  124. in the news.

  125. I will never forget

  126. as a young kid

  127. the day when I was watching a helicopter

  128. fly overhead

  129. and it was going to land down

  130. in the nearby hospital.

  131. So I jumped on my bike

  132. as I always did

  133. when the helicopters came

  134. and cycled over to the hospital

  135. to watch it land.

  136. They took the person out of the hospital

  137. out of the helicopter

  138. and into the hospital.

  139. I cycled home again,

  140. didn't think much more about it.

  141. Until later that evening

  142. we got news

  143. to hear that my friend Richard

  144. had been tragically killed

  145. and had fallen from a cliff

  146. and they had taken him

  147. to the hospital

  148. by helicopter.

  149. That day reminded me

  150. and hit me like a ton of bricks

  151. to say

  152. my life

  153. will not last forever.

  154. Sad and tragic

  155. as that event was

  156. it suddenly awoke me

  157. as a young kid

  158. to say

  159. I am not going to live

  160. forever.

  161. Forever.

  162. You see

  163. that's the case

  164. for all of us.

  165. Faced with sudden death

  166. we are confronted

  167. with our own mortality.

  168. And of course

  169. when these tragic

  170. and sudden deaths

  171. come to us

  172. it raises all kinds

  173. of questions.

  174. It causes us to ask

  175. why?

  176. Why has God allowed

  177. this to happen?

  178. why did it happen

  179. to my friend?

  180. Why so young?

  181. Why did that person

  182. get cancer?

  183. Why did this violent act

  184. happen in the temple?

  185. Why did the tower fall?

  186. It's a natural

  187. and normal question

  188. for us to ask.

  189. But the surprise

  190. through this

  191. is that Jesus

  192. doesn't actually

  193. give an answer

  194. to that question.

  195. instead

  196. he brings us

  197. to another truth

  198. something

  199. that he wants us

  200. to all see

  201. and understand.

  202. Because behind

  203. every death

  204. is this.

  205. Jesus says

  206. the primary reason

  207. and the cause

  208. for all death

  209. is sin.

  210. Have a look

  211. at verse 2.

  212. Jesus answered

  213. do you think

  214. that these Galileans

  215. were worse

  216. sinners

  217. than all the other

  218. Galileans

  219. because they suffered

  220. this way?

  221. You see

  222. those who come

  223. to Jesus

  224. with this incident

  225. assume

  226. that their

  227. violent end

  228. means that

  229. God must be

  230. punishing them.

  231. These Galileans

  232. must have committed

  233. some terrible act

  234. or some awful

  235. sin in their life

  236. for this tragedy

  237. to happen to them.

  238. in fact

  239. they thought

  240. that the more

  241. tragic the death

  242. the greater

  243. the sin

  244. must have been.

  245. It's almost

  246. this kind of

  247. karma-like

  248. outlook on life.

  249. You do something

  250. good

  251. you live long

  252. if you do

  253. something bad

  254. your life

  255. will be cut short.

  256. But no

  257. that's not the case

  258. says Jesus.

  259. Look at verse 3

  260. I tell you

  261. no

  262. don't

  263. think like that.

  264. How

  265. we die

  266. is not

  267. evidence

  268. of how

  269. good

  270. or bad

  271. we are.

  272. We may

  273. live a good

  274. and moral

  275. life

  276. and die

  277. early

  278. or we may

  279. live a bad

  280. and immoral

  281. life

  282. and live

  283. a long

  284. long time.

  285. Verse 4

  286. what of those

  287. 18 who died

  288. when the tower

  289. in Siloam

  290. fell on them

  291. do you think

  292. that they were

  293. more guilty

  294. than all the

  295. others living

  296. in Jerusalem?

  297. I tell you

  298. no.

  299. We are

  300. actually no

  301. better

  302. or no

  303. worse

  304. than each

  305. other.

  306. It's not

  307. how

  308. we die

  309. but the

  310. fact that

  311. we all

  312. die.

  313. The point

  314. is

  315. death

  316. is evidence

  317. that each

  318. one of us

  319. have all

  320. sinned.

  321. The

  322. Apostle Paul

  323. put it like

  324. this

  325. in Romans

  326. 5

  327. as he was

  328. speaking about

  329. the fall

  330. of Adam

  331. the very

  332. beginning

  333. of creation.

  334. Therefore

  335. just as sin

  336. entered the

  337. world through

  338. one man

  339. that was

  340. Adam

  341. and death

  342. through sin

  343. and in

  344. this way

  345. death

  346. came to

  347. all people

  348. because

  349. all

  350. sinned.

  351. You see

  352. each and

  353. every one

  354. of us

  355. have all

  356. ignored

  357. and rejected

  358. Jesus as

  359. King.

  360. I may

  361. live a

  362. healthy life

  363. till I'm

  364. 90.

  365. I may be

  366. struck down

  367. with cancer

  368. tomorrow

  369. and die

  370. within a

  371. year.

  372. But

  373. however I

  374. die and

  375. whenever that

  376. time may be

  377. the reason

  378. for my

  379. death

  380. is

  381. ultimately

  382. sin.

  383. when we

  384. die the

  385. coroner's

  386. report may

  387. say heart

  388. failure

  389. it may

  390. say

  391. suffocation

  392. it may

  393. come up

  394. with some

  395. other

  396. reason

  397. but Jesus

  398. says I want

  399. you to look

  400. behind all

  401. of that.

  402. The cause

  403. and the

  404. reason

  405. for all

  406. death

  407. for all

  408. people

  409. in all

  410. the world

  411. is because

  412. of our

  413. rebellion

  414. because we've

  415. turned against

  416. God

  417. we will

  418. all die.

  419. so first

  420. the inescapable

  421. reality of

  422. death

  423. second

  424. the immediate

  425. need to

  426. repent

  427. you see

  428. we might

  429. see death

  430. as a

  431. problem

  432. it robs

  433. us of

  434. friends and

  435. family

  436. it steals

  437. away our

  438. joy

  439. but it's

  440. what follows

  441. death that

  442. is the real

  443. problem

  444. you see

  445. death

  446. is not

  447. the end

  448. we don't

  449. just die

  450. and that's

  451. it

  452. no more

  453. it leads

  454. to an

  455. encounter

  456. with God

  457. and that's

  458. what Jesus

  459. is implying

  460. through this

  461. discussion

  462. that he has

  463. with these

  464. people

  465. he's making

  466. it clear

  467. that when

  468. we die

  469. we will

  470. face the

  471. judge

  472. of all

  473. the earth

  474. regardless

  475. of who

  476. we are

  477. or how

  478. we've

  479. lived

  480. we will

  481. all have

  482. to give

  483. an account

  484. to God

  485. so instead

  486. of wondering

  487. if someone's

  488. violent

  489. or tragic

  490. death

  491. is God's

  492. special

  493. judgment

  494. on them

  495. he's saying

  496. you shouldn't

  497. think like

  498. that

  499. what you

  500. should be

  501. thinking

  502. is about

  503. how are

  504. you

  505. going to

  506. stand

  507. before God

  508. when we

  509. are judged

  510. death is

  511. not the

  512. end

  513. it brings

  514. us into

  515. an encounter

  516. with God

  517. and with

  518. that

  519. Jesus

  520. says

  521. the

  522. prospect

  523. of

  524. hell

  525. look

  526. again

  527. closely

  528. to what

  529. Jesus

  530. says

  531. in

  532. verse

  533. three

  534. they've

  535. come to

  536. him

  537. with this

  538. tragedy

  539. behind it

  540. is this

  541. question

  542. of

  543. well why

  544. would

  545. this

  546. happen

  547. and

  548. Jesus

  549. turns

  550. them

  551. and

  552. points

  553. them

  554. to

  555. something

  556. much

  557. greater

  558. that

  559. we

  560. need

  561. to

  562. consider

  563. in

  564. verse

  565. three

  566. he

  567. says

  568. I

  569. tell

  570. you

  571. no

  572. but

  573. unless

  574. you

  575. repent

  576. you

  577. too

  578. will

  579. all

  580. perish

  581. to

  582. perish

  583. is to

  584. face

  585. the

  586. terrible

  587. reality

  588. of

  589. hell

  590. which

  591. is

  592. separation

  593. from

  594. God

  595. and

  596. all

  597. that

  598. is

  599. good

  600. and

  601. beautiful

  602. it's

  603. not

  604. a

  605. threat

  606. it's

  607. an

  608. expression

  609. of

  610. God's

  611. just

  612. and

  613. fair

  614. response

  615. to

  616. all

  617. that

  618. is

  619. wrong

  620. hell

  621. exists

  622. because

  623. God

  624. cares

  625. about

  626. injustice

  627. God

  628. cares

  629. about

  630. violent

  631. crime

  632. God

  633. cares

  634. about

  635. how

  636. we

  637. treat

  638. each

  639. other

  640. and

  641. he

  642. cares

  643. about

  644. how

  645. we

  646. treat

  647. his

  648. son

  649. it's

  650. real

  651. it's

  652. not

  653. made

  654. up

  655. and

  656. it's

  657. what

  658. every

  659. one

  660. of

  661. us

  662. deserve

  663. because

  664. we've

  665. all

  666. broken

  667. God's

  668. good

  669. gifts

  670. every

  671. one

  672. of

  673. us

  674. in

  675. this

  676. room

  677. have

  678. caused

  679. hurt

  680. to

  681. those

  682. we

  683. love

  684. the

  685. most

  686. we've

  687. all

  688. made

  689. selfish

  690. decisions

  691. that

  692. have

  693. ended

  694. close

  695. relationships

  696. we've

  697. all

  698. lived

  699. as if

  700. we

  701. were

  702. the

  703. center

  704. of

  705. the

  706. universe

  707. deciding

  708. this

  709. is

  710. what's

  711. right

  712. or

  713. this

  714. is

  715. best

  716. for

  717. me

  718. go

  719. and

  720. god

  721. can't

  722. let

  723. us

  724. and

  725. the

  726. world

  727. go

  728. on

  729. breaking

  730. and

  731. ruining

  732. our

  733. lives

  734. and

  735. the

  736. lives

  737. of

  738. each

  739. other

  740. and

  741. all

  742. the

  743. tragedy

  744. that

  745. we

  746. see

  747. around

  748. us

  749. in

  750. this

  751. world

  752. hell

  753. is

  754. god's

  755. just

  756. and

  757. fair

  758. response

  759. to

  760. sin

  761. and

  762. what

  763. he's

  764. making

  765. it

  766. clear

  767. to

  768. us

  769. is

  770. he's saying there is something much worse

  771. than dying at the hands of a violent dictator.

  772. There is something far more terrifying

  773. than dying in a natural disaster when a tower should fall.

  774. It is the fearful prospect

  775. of an eternity in hell

  776. being separated from God.

  777. All his good gifts

  778. and his grace and mercy.

  779. And knowing that this is the true reality

  780. Jesus pleads with us all

  781. look again at verse 3

  782. but unless you repent

  783. you too will all perish.

  784. He says the same again in verse 5

  785. unless you repent

  786. you too will all perish.

  787. Now I know we talk about repentance often

  788. but we've got to be clear as to what true repentance is.

  789. Sometimes we can be remorseful

  790. but that's not repentance.

  791. Being remorseful means

  792. we regret what we've done

  793. because of the consequences to our life.

  794. So the adulterer

  795. well they may be remorseful

  796. because they've been caught

  797. and their wife has ended up leaving them.

  798. And they go I wish I hadn't done that

  799. because of the impact on their life.

  800. They're only sorry because they've been caught.

  801. But being repentant means

  802. we seek genuine heart change

  803. regardless of the consequences to our life.

  804. So the one who's had the affair

  805. is repentant

  806. and they will face up to the seriousness

  807. of their actions.

  808. They will accept the consequences

  809. and seek to change their ways.

  810. They repent

  811. because they do not want

  812. to do the same things again.

  813. Judas and Peter

  814. who were disciples of Jesus

  815. are good examples of this.

  816. You know the story of Judas

  817. and of Peter.

  818. Both of them acted in denial and betrayal.

  819. Both of them had sinned

  820. just like us.

  821. Judas.

  822. Judas

  823. well he was remorseful.

  824. He was found out

  825. what he had done.

  826. And because he was found out

  827. he ran away

  828. and he hung himself.

  829. Because remorse leads to

  830. despair.

  831. Peter on the other hand

  832. well he was repentant.

  833. He knew what he had done wrong too.

  834. He had been found out

  835. but he ran back to Jesus

  836. in confession.

  837. Repentance always leads to

  838. a restored

  839. and reconciled relationship

  840. with God.

  841. So the right response

  842. Jesus says

  843. is not remorse

  844. but true repentance.

  845. Now as we work through this

  846. we may struggle with some of the things

  847. that Jesus is saying.

  848. And we can even think that

  849. well God sounds very harsh.

  850. I don't like this God.

  851. But if we look carefully

  852. and see

  853. well he's speaking the truth

  854. and he's actually

  855. persevering with us.

  856. In fact through this

  857. as he goes on to tell a parable

  858. he cares about us

  859. intimately.

  860. He cares about us

  861. so much

  862. that he has actually

  863. delayed

  864. his judgment.

  865. Look at verse 6.

  866. He then told this parable.

  867. A man had a fig tree

  868. planted in his vineyard

  869. and he went to look for fruit on it

  870. but didn't find any.

  871. So he said to the man

  872. who took care of the vineyard

  873. for three years now

  874. I've been coming to look for fruit

  875. on this fig tree

  876. and haven't found any.

  877. Cut it down.

  878. Why should it use up the soil?

  879. Now the point of the story

  880. is that

  881. the owner of the vineyard

  882. has been delaying

  883. his decision.

  884. He's given the fig tree

  885. every opportunity

  886. to start doing

  887. what it is meant to do.

  888. You plant a fig tree

  889. because it's meant

  890. to produce figs.

  891. But three years

  892. he's waited

  893. which is a very long time

  894. when your livelihood

  895. depends on good harvest.

  896. So why waste

  897. the good ground

  898. with a bad tree

  899. if it's not doing anything?

  900. Get rid of it

  901. and put in a new tree.

  902. But he's waited

  903. three years.

  904. And he's saying

  905. this is what God is like

  906. in the way in which

  907. he deals with us.

  908. You see this vineyard

  909. image of the owner

  910. and the vineyard

  911. was very often used

  912. to describe

  913. God's relationship

  914. to his people Israel.

  915. God looked for fruit

  916. but he didn't find any.

  917. He looked for a change

  918. in the lives

  919. of the people of Israel

  920. but it didn't come.

  921. But rather than

  922. bring his judgment

  923. he waited patiently.

  924. He longed for them

  925. to return.

  926. Listen to what God said

  927. through the prophet Ezekiel.

  928. to the people of Israel.

  929. As surely as I live

  930. declares the sovereign Lord

  931. I take no pleasure

  932. in the death of the wicked

  933. but rather that they

  934. turn from their ways

  935. and live.

  936. Turn.

  937. Turn

  938. from your evil ways.

  939. And so it is with us.

  940. God has been

  941. delaying

  942. his judgment

  943. not just three years

  944. but for well over

  945. two thousand years.

  946. He has persevered with us.

  947. He is patient with us.

  948. He is longing

  949. that none perish

  950. but that all would come

  951. in repentance

  952. to him.

  953. God is gracious

  954. and full of mercy

  955. persevering

  956. and long

  957. suffering.

  958. In fact

  959. judgment

  960. is not only

  961. delayed

  962. in the gospel story

  963. we discover

  964. that judgment

  965. has already

  966. fallen.

  967. You see

  968. Jesus too

  969. would suffer.

  970. Not just

  971. these people

  972. were slaughtered

  973. but Jesus

  974. would also

  975. be slaughtered.

  976. Cut down

  977. in the prime

  978. of his life

  979. just 33 years

  980. old

  981. when he was

  982. murdered

  983. and hung

  984. on a cross.

  985. Slaughtered

  986. at the hands

  987. of Pilate

  988. and his soldiers.

  989. But Jesus'

  990. death was

  991. no accident.

  992. This was all

  993. planned by God

  994. from before

  995. the creation

  996. of the world.

  997. His death

  998. was the

  999. true sacrifice.

  1000. Jesus died

  1001. not because

  1002. he was

  1003. the worst

  1004. of sinners.

  1005. He had

  1006. never

  1007. sinned.

  1008. But he

  1009. died

  1010. because he

  1011. took my

  1012. sin

  1013. and your

  1014. sin

  1015. on himself.

  1016. And so

  1017. as he hung

  1018. on the cross

  1019. the judgment

  1020. of God

  1021. fell

  1022. not on

  1023. us

  1024. but on

  1025. Jesus.

  1026. Crushed

  1027. beneath

  1028. the wrath

  1029. of God

  1030. experiencing

  1031. the reality

  1032. of hell

  1033. for you

  1034. and for

  1035. me.

  1036. God

  1037. in his

  1038. mercy

  1039. allowed

  1040. his

  1041. judgment

  1042. to fall

  1043. on his

  1044. own

  1045. son

  1046. rather than

  1047. on us

  1048. so that

  1049. we could

  1050. have life

  1051. with him.

  1052. And so

  1053. because judgment

  1054. has fallen

  1055. God acts

  1056. in incredible

  1057. mercy towards

  1058. us

  1059. and to

  1060. this world.

  1061. Look at

  1062. verse 8.

  1063. Sir, the

  1064. man replied,

  1065. leave it

  1066. alone for

  1067. one more

  1068. year

  1069. and I'll

  1070. dig round

  1071. it and

  1072. fertilize it.

  1073. If it bears

  1074. fruit next year,

  1075. fine.

  1076. If not,

  1077. then cut it

  1078. down.

  1079. You see,

  1080. the image

  1081. here is of

  1082. the vineyard

  1083. who goes

  1084. above and

  1085. beyond what

  1086. we think

  1087. he should

  1088. do.

  1089. he does

  1090. all that

  1091. he can,

  1092. giving the

  1093. tree every

  1094. opportunity,

  1095. fertilizing it,

  1096. watering it,

  1097. pruning it,

  1098. whatever it

  1099. may take

  1100. to produce

  1101. fruit.

  1102. If it

  1103. takes another

  1104. year,

  1105. I'll give

  1106. it another

  1107. year.

  1108. And again,

  1109. that's God's

  1110. dealing with

  1111. us.

  1112. God responds

  1113. to our

  1114. stubborn hearts

  1115. with incredible

  1116. mercy,

  1117. giving us

  1118. every

  1119. opportunity

  1120. that we

  1121. would turn

  1122. to God,

  1123. but not

  1124. just turn

  1125. to God,

  1126. but to

  1127. change our

  1128. lives,

  1129. to produce

  1130. fruit in

  1131. keeping with

  1132. a true

  1133. disciple.

  1134. But please

  1135. note,

  1136. the offer

  1137. of God's

  1138. mercy is

  1139. not infinite.

  1140. Look at

  1141. verse 9.

  1142. If it

  1143. bears fruit

  1144. next year,

  1145. fine.

  1146. If not,

  1147. then cut

  1148. it down.

  1149. A sober

  1150. warning that

  1151. a time will

  1152. come when

  1153. God's offer

  1154. of mercy

  1155. will come

  1156. to an end.

  1157. The time

  1158. of grace

  1159. will be

  1160. over.

  1161. And all

  1162. those who

  1163. have not

  1164. taken refuge

  1165. under the

  1166. cross

  1167. will face

  1168. the just

  1169. and fair

  1170. judgment

  1171. of God.

  1172. God is

  1173. merciful.

  1174. God is

  1175. gracious,

  1176. long

  1177. suffering and

  1178. persevering,

  1179. longing that

  1180. all would

  1181. turn to

  1182. him.

  1183. And this

  1184. is the

  1185. God

  1186. that we

  1187. need to

  1188. tell people

  1189. about.

  1190. This is the

  1191. God that we

  1192. need to pray

  1193. to people

  1194. about,

  1195. that they

  1196. would turn

  1197. and that

  1198. we would

  1199. get our

  1200. lives

  1201. ready to

  1202. meet him.

  1203. Let's pray

  1204. together.

  1205. and let's

  1206. bear.

  1207. By Acts,

  1208. we will

  1209. carre M

  1210. together.
