  1. Oh yeah, there we go. If you have the church Bible, page 1187, 1187.

  2. And in fact, you do love all of God's family throughout Macedonia.

  3. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more.

  4. And to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life.

  5. You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you.

  6. So that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders.

  7. And so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

  8. Johnny, let me just pray for you.

  9. Father God, thank you for Johnny.

  10. Thank you for the amazing servant he is to this church, faithfully bringing your word to us every week.

  11. We ask that you fill him with your Holy Spirit.

  12. That it be your message that he preaches today, not his own.

  13. And fill him with wisdom, fill him with your words.

  14. In Jesus' name, amen.

  15. Thanks, Charlie.

  16. Thanks so much, Connor.

  17. Thank you for leading today and for directing us to the theme of love.

  18. I look forward to catching up with you afterwards over tea and coffee if you're able to stay.

  19. That'll be good to do.

  20. Let's keep our Bibles open in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4.

    1 Thessalonians 4 chapter mention

  21. You can follow along.

  22. So William Grimshaw was a minister in the north of England in the mid-18th century.

  23. I never met him personally, but he was obviously quite a character.

  24. I'm well known for his dealings with his congregation.

  25. And on one occasion, it came to his attention that a well-to-do couple in his church had been spouting, boasting about their good Christian lives.

  26. Mr. Grimshaw didn't like such talk, so decided to confront them.

  27. So one cold night, he dressed up as a beggar and went knocking on their door.

  28. His only request from this couple was that they'd give him a piece of bread and somewhere to sleep.

  29. The husband refused.

  30. Mr. Grimshaw, still in disguise, asked again, pleading on their Christian charity.

  31. Once again, there was a refusal to help.

  32. Well, that was when Mr. Grimshaw took off his disguise and revealed his true identity to the shock and horror of the elderly couple.

  33. And he berated them at the door for their hypocrisy, their hard-heartedness and their lack of love.

  34. Now, the method may have been pretty harsh, although quite funny, I think.

  35. The message was very clear.

  36. Christians should be known for their love.

  37. In fact, love is the mark of genuine Christianity.

  38. True Christians, as our text says this morning, are to love each other more and more.

  39. And that's the theme today.

  40. Three things we're going to look at.

  41. How we're taught to love.

  42. How we grow in love.

  43. And how we work out love.

  44. How we're taught, how we grow, and how we work it out.

  45. First, we are taught to love.

  46. So it's good to see you here this morning, class.

  47. You are all in good time.

  48. And today, we're going to learn how to love.

  49. In the Bible, God tells us how to love.

  50. Our teacher, Connor, already told us that love fulfills the law.

  51. So I'd like you to look at the screen and follow with me in our learning this morning.

  52. Can you read this verse with me?

  53. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself.

  54. I am the Lord.

  55. Leviticus 19, verse 18.

    Leviticus 19:18

  56. So your homework, it's very simple.

  57. Go home and love your neighbor as yourself.

  58. Simples.

  59. Or is it?

  60. You see, we don't have to go very far into our day when we realize that loving others is actually very difficult and very hard.

  61. Forgiving others is hard.

  62. Keeping a grudge is easier.

  63. Serving others is difficult.

  64. Whereas loving yourself is much, much easier.

  65. You see, the problem is, I could sit in a class.

  66. We could all sit in a class.

  67. We can all learn about love for others.

  68. We can look at every verse in the Bible about love.

  69. We can know the Hebrew for love.

  70. We can talk about hesed, steadfast love.

  71. We could maybe tell the difference in our Greek between agape and Philadelphia.

  72. We know what love is.

  73. But we could sit in any amounts of classes.

  74. We could go to MBC College and learn all about love.

  75. But that doesn't mean to say we will love.

  76. And the reason is, we need to be taught to love.

  77. Look at verse 9.

  78. Now, about your love for one another.

  79. We do not need to write to you.

  80. For you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

  81. Now, that doesn't mean knowing a whole lot of information.

  82. Rather, it requires a heart transformation.

  83. It means that God teaches us inside.

  84. That God works in our hearts by his Holy Spirit.

  85. It's actually a call to conversion itself.

  86. The prophets, people like Ezekiel and Jeremiah,

  87. looked forward to the day when God would teach his people by his Spirit.

  88. But here's what Ezekiel says.

  89. This is what God says through Ezekiel, rather.

  90. He says, I will give you a new heart,

  91. and I will put my spirit in you,

  92. and move you to follow my decrees,

  93. and be very careful to keep my laws.

  94. So all the laws and all the decrees that we can read about in Scripture,

  95. all about how we should love God and love one another,

  96. and how they struggle to do that,

  97. God says, I'm going to send my Spirit,

  98. who will enable you to be able to love as I commanded.

  99. Jeremiah said something similar,

  100. where he said God's laws would actually be written or engraved on your heart.

  101. Now thankfully, we live in an age when the Spirit of God has come.

  102. So when we turn to Christ,

  103. when we repent of our sins as we trust in him,

  104. he gives us, he works in us by his Holy Spirit.

  105. God teaches us by his Spirit,

  106. enabling us to love one another in a way that is not possible by ourselves.

  107. Here's how Paul put it.

  108. I think this is a helpful reference.

  109. He's writing to the church in Rome.

  110. He says,

  111. You see, loving each other is not about learning memory verses.

  112. It's not about the command to learn.

  113. It's not about information.

  114. It's about transformation of our lives on the inside.

  115. It's an overflow of God's love that will bubble out towards others.

  116. By his Spirit, he enables us to do what we could never do ourselves.

  117. You might think of it a bit like this,

  118. of two young lads who turn up to football training.

  119. Neither of them have ever gone to training before.

  120. It's their first time.

  121. They arrive down at the pitches.

  122. The first one is unsure what to do.

  123. Do I pick the ball up?

  124. Do I kick it?

  125. Do I hand pass it?

  126. Which way?

  127. What do I do?

  128. The second lad is straight in there,

  129. in the thick of it,

  130. kicking, passing,

  131. and he's got all the skills to go.

  132. And his friend says to him,

  133. Well, how do you know what to do?

  134. How do you learn so quick?

  135. Well, he says,

  136. My Father taught me.

  137. He learned me.

  138. You see, he already had those abilities within him.

  139. Now, I know it's not a perfect illustration,

  140. but in a sense,

  141. it's reminding us that we too need to be taught by God the Father.

  142. It's much more than just learning information.

  143. It must be an internal transformation of our hearts.

  144. It's a supernatural work of God.

  145. We cannot do this on our own.

  146. We must be taught by God.

  147. So first, how are we going to love?

  148. Well, we must first be taught by God.

  149. We must become Christians.

  150. Second, we're to grow in love.

  151. Now, this church that Paul is writing to,

  152. we're a church that loved each other deeply.

  153. We see that if you go back to chapter 1 and verse 3.

  154. Chapter 1 and verse 3.

  155. He says,

  156. We remember before our God and Father

  157. your work produced by faith,

  158. your labor prompted by love.

  159. So all their serving,

  160. all their doing,

  161. all their work

  162. came from a heart filled with love.

  163. And have a look at chapter 3, verse 6.

  164. This is after Paul had gone away

  165. and he sends Timothy to see how the church is doing.

  166. And he writes and he says,

  167. chapter 3, verse 6,

  168. Timothy has just now come to us from you

  169. and has brought good news about your faith

  170. and love.

  171. And chapter 4, verse 10.

  172. And in fact,

  173. you do love all of God's family

  174. throughout Macedonia.

  175. So they didn't just love one another deeply.

  176. Their love was infectious.

  177. It spread beyond them

  178. to the other local churches around them.

  179. But,

  180. it seems that wasn't enough.

  181. Look at the rest of verse 10.

  182. Yet we urge you,

  183. brothers and sisters,

  184. to do so

  185. more

  186. and more.

  187. Now I'm thankful,

  188. and I hope you are too,

  189. to be in a church

  190. where people

  191. sincerely

  192. and deeply

  193. love you.

  194. You're a people who give

  195. generously when there's need.

  196. you pray and care for one another

  197. when you're facing struggles.

  198. You serve diligently

  199. and continually

  200. in ministries

  201. in the life of the church.

  202. Your love does

  203. overflow to one another.

  204. Yet we urge you,

  205. brothers and sisters,

  206. to do so

  207. more

  208. and more.

  209. Johnny,

  210. come on,

  211. you can't be serious.

  212. I mean,

  213. I do love.

  214. Do you not realise

  215. how much I give?

  216. You want me to love

  217. more

  218. and more?

  219. Sounds like a stick

  220. to beat us with.

  221. You must do better.

  222. You must work harder.

  223. Love more

  224. and more.

  225. In fact,

  226. it can easily

  227. begin to feel

  228. that I must

  229. do more

  230. and more.

  231. If God is going

  232. to love me

  233. and accept me,

  234. I've got to do

  235. more and more.

  236. What I'm doing

  237. is not enough.

  238. I must do,

  239. note to self,

  240. do more

  241. acts

  242. of love.

  243. And if I do

  244. more

  245. and more,

  246. God will love me

  247. more

  248. and more.

  249. Now,

  250. that's a terrible

  251. mistake to fall

  252. into.

  253. We mustn't think

  254. like that.

  255. This isn't a stick

  256. to beat us with.

  257. Rather,

  258. it's an encouragement

  259. to grow us.

  260. Let me help us

  261. think this through

  262. a little bit more,

  263. this more

  264. and more.

  265. Have a look

  266. on the screen here.

  267. There's a verse

  268. from 1 Peter.

  269. It's not

  270. more and more,

  271. but it's

  272. once

  273. and for all.

  274. It's talking

  275. about the death

  276. of Jesus.

  277. It said,

  278. Christ died

  279. for sins

  280. once

  281. for all.

  282. The righteous

  283. for the unrighteous

  284. to bring you

  285. to God.

  286. It's telling us

  287. that Christ's

  288. death

  289. was a once

  290. and for all

  291. act

  292. by which we

  293. are made

  294. right

  295. before God.

  296. It's like

  297. what we looked

  298. at earlier,

  299. being taught

  300. by God.

  301. It's a one-off

  302. act

  303. where we are

  304. converted,

  305. we are changed,

  306. we become

  307. Christians.

  308. That means

  309. God has forgiven

  310. me,

  311. he's accepted

  312. me,

  313. he loves me.

  314. That will

  315. never,

  316. ever,

  317. ever change.

  318. it's once

  319. and for all.

  320. There's nothing

  321. I can do

  322. to make God

  323. love me more

  324. and there's

  325. nothing I can do

  326. to make God

  327. love me less.

  328. It's once

  329. and for all.

  330. And now

  331. that I have

  332. been loved

  333. by God,

  334. I am now

  335. to grow

  336. in my love

  337. for others.

  338. I am to

  339. please God

  340. by loving

  341. others.

  342. Have a look

  343. in Thessalonians

  344. chapter 4

  345. verse 1.

  346. We get

  347. the same

  348. phrase here,

  349. the more

  350. and more

  351. phrase.

  352. Let's read

  353. from verse 1.

  354. As for other

  355. matters,

  356. brothers and

  357. sisters,

  358. we instructed

  359. you how to

  360. live in order

  361. to please

  362. God as

  363. in fact

  364. you are

  365. living.

  366. Now we

  367. ask you

  368. and urge

  369. you in

  370. the Lord

  371. Jesus to

  372. do this

  373. more

  374. and more.

  375. verse 10.

  376. And in

  377. fact,

  378. you are

  379. pleasing

  380. God.

  381. You do

  382. love all

  383. of God's

  384. family

  385. throughout

  386. Macedonia,

  387. yet we

  388. urge you

  389. brothers and

  390. sisters to

  391. do so

  392. more

  393. and more.

  394. It's not

  395. more and

  396. more so

  397. that God

  398. will love

  399. me more

  400. and more.

  401. It's

  402. God

  403. does

  404. love you

  405. once

  406. and for

  407. all.

  408. it will

  409. never

  410. cease,

  411. it will

  412. never

  413. end.

  414. Therefore,

  415. I will

  416. in response

  417. seek to

  418. grow in

  419. my love

  420. for others

  421. more

  422. and more.

  423. But is

  424. it really

  425. possible?

  426. I mean,

  427. think about

  428. it.

  429. All the

  430. loving we

  431. do,

  432. is it

  433. possible

  434. that I

  435. can love

  436. you more

  437. and you

  438. can love

  439. me more?

  440. well,

  441. yes it

  442. is.

  443. But not

  444. by sheer

  445. determination,

  446. not by

  447. sheer will

  448. power,

  449. I must

  450. love more,

  451. I must

  452. love more,

  453. I must

  454. love more.

  455. No,

  456. instead we

  457. come in

  458. our weakness

  459. and we

  460. ask God

  461. to enable

  462. us to

  463. do what

  464. we cannot

  465. do,

  466. which is

  467. to love.

  468. Look at

  469. chapter 3

  470. verse 12.

  471. It's a

  472. wonderful

  473. little prayer.

  474. chapter 3

  475. verse 12.

  476. May the

  477. Lord make

  478. your love

  479. increase

  480. and overflow

  481. for each

  482. other and

  483. for everyone

  484. else.

  485. Lord,

  486. fill me

  487. with your

  488. love.

  489. Pour

  490. into

  491. my life

  492. your love

  493. by the

  494. power of

  495. the Holy

  496. Spirit.

  497. Fill me

  498. so that

  499. it

  500. overflows

  501. more

  502. and more.

  503. So that

  504. when people

  505. come to

  506. me and

  507. ask me,

  508. I will

  509. respond in

  510. love more

  511. and more.

  512. You see,

  513. there's no

  514. level of

  515. love at

  516. which we

  517. can reach

  518. and say,

  519. that's it,

  520. no more,

  521. I've done

  522. it,

  523. I've made

  524. it,

  525. I'm the

  526. lover of

  527. lovers.

  528. No,

  529. there's no

  530. level.

  531. It's

  532. always

  533. more and

  534. more.

  535. And God

  536. will always

  537. increase our

  538. love for

  539. each other

  540. by his

  541. Holy Spirit

  542. filling us

  543. to overflowing

  544. so that we

  545. can love

  546. more and

  547. more.

  548. Not by

  549. ourselves,

  550. but by the

  551. supernatural

  552. in-working

  553. Spirit of

  554. God.

  555. So we're

  556. taught to

  557. love,

  558. we grow

  559. in love,

  560. and third,

  561. we're to

  562. work out

  563. our love.

  564. So what

  565. does loving

  566. one another

  567. look like in

  568. practice?

  569. Well, we

  570. heard this

  571. morning that

  572. it could

  573. involve going

  574. to the

  575. cinema or

  576. surfing,

  577. but that's

  578. not what

  579. this says

  580. here.

  581. let's

  582. read verse

  583. 11.

  584. So love

  585. more and

  586. more,

  587. verse 11,

  588. and make

  589. it your

  590. ambition to

  591. lead a

  592. quiet life.

  593. You should

  594. mind your

  595. own business

  596. and work

  597. with your

  598. hands just

  599. as we

  600. told you.

  601. Now I

  602. find it

  603. helpful for

  604. just single

  605. words to

  606. summarize.

  607. summarize.

  608. So we've

  609. got three

  610. words that

  611. summarize verse

  612. 11 to

  613. help us

  614. think about

  615. what love

  616. is like.

  617. Love is

  618. quiet.

  619. Love is

  620. quiet.

  621. Isn't that what

  622. it says?

  623. Verse 11,

  624. make it your

  625. ambition to

  626. lead a

  627. quiet life.

  628. love.

  629. Well let

  630. me tell you

  631. a minute how

  632. much I

  633. prayed for

  634. you this

  635. week.

  636. Do you

  637. know how

  638. much I

  639. give to

  640. the church,

  641. shall I

  642. tell you?

  643. And next

  644. week I'm

  645. planning on

  646. inviting three

  647. people for

  648. coffee and

  649. two families

  650. for dinner.

  651. and if

  652. anybody else

  653. wants to

  654. come,

  655. just come

  656. and tell

  657. me I

  658. have so

  659. much love

  660. to give.

  661. No.

  662. Love doesn't

  663. need grand

  664. announcements.

  665. You don't

  666. need to

  667. broadcast

  668. whatever you

  669. did from

  670. Mr.

  671. Old

  672. Jones.

  673. Love is

  674. quiet.

  675. It doesn't

  676. seek repayment

  677. or acknowledgement.

  678. Love just

  679. quietly

  680. gets on.

  681. Setting

  682. up,

  683. serving,

  684. visiting,

  685. offering

  686. hospitality.

  687. No grand

  688. announcements.

  689. Love is

  690. quiet.

  691. So let

  692. us love

  693. quietly.

  694. Second

  695. word

  696. is

  697. humble.

  698. Look at

  699. the middle

  700. of verse

  701. 11.

  702. You should

  703. mind your

  704. own business.

  705. That's a

  706. great phrase

  707. isn't it?

  708. You couldn't

  709. possibly say

  710. that.

  711. No, the

  712. Bible says

  713. it.

  714. Now I

  715. can say

  716. it.

  717. Our job

  718. is not

  719. to be

  720. finding out

  721. what people

  722. do and

  723. how often

  724. they're

  725. doing it.

  726. I am

  727. not the

  728. standard of

  729. love and

  730. you're not

  731. the standard

  732. of love.

  733. We're not

  734. to be busy

  735. looking around

  736. going,

  737. oh, they're

  738. always late

  739. and they

  740. always leave

  741. early.

  742. I wonder

  743. why they

  744. do that.

  745. M-Y-O-B

  746. mind your

  747. own business.

  748. How people

  749. use their

  750. time and

  751. their gifts

  752. is not

  753. your business.

  754. We're not

  755. judge and

  756. jury of the

  757. love committee.

  758. The truth

  759. is we

  760. don't know

  761. what people's

  762. circumstances

  763. are.

  764. We have no

  765. idea what

  766. people have

  767. been going

  768. through or

  769. what their

  770. burden is.

  771. perhaps

  772. they're the

  773. person,

  774. instead of

  775. criticising,

  776. we need

  777. to love

  778. more

  779. and more.

  780. Love is

  781. humble,

  782. not

  783. judgmental.

  784. It doesn't

  785. compare with

  786. others.

  787. It doesn't

  788. keep records.

  789. Love

  790. minds

  791. your own

  792. business.

  793. Love is

  794. humble.

  795. So quietly,

  796. humbly,

  797. and third,

  798. generously,

  799. you should

  800. mind your

  801. own business,

  802. verse 11,

  803. and work

  804. with your

  805. hands just

  806. as we

  807. told you.

  808. In other

  809. words,

  810. use the

  811. gifts God

  812. has blessed

  813. you with,

  814. both the

  815. abilities that

  816. we have

  817. and the

  818. resources

  819. that we

  820. have received.

  821. if you're

  822. gifted in

  823. some

  824. particular

  825. way,

  826. use it

  827. to love

  828. others.

  829. If it's

  830. baking,

  831. bake.

  832. If it's

  833. DIY,

  834. go do

  835. some

  836. DIY.

  837. If it's

  838. visiting,

  839. visit.

  840. If it's

  841. teach,

  842. teach.

  843. He's

  844. made us

  845. with all

  846. kinds of

  847. wonderful

  848. talents and

  849. abilities,

  850. and all of

  851. us are

  852. different.

  853. We've

  854. all got

  855. something

  856. different to

  857. bring,

  858. and we

  859. use them

  860. to love

  861. one another.

  862. Work with

  863. your

  864. hands.

  865. And what

  866. about all

  867. the resources

  868. God has

  869. given to

  870. us?

  871. Again,

  872. we are to

  873. steward them

  874. well for

  875. the blessing

  876. of others.

  877. If you're

  878. no longer

  879. in full-time

  880. work,

  881. use your

  882. time to

  883. encourage.

  884. If you

  885. have extra

  886. financial

  887. resources,

  888. use it

  889. to bless

  890. others.

  891. If you've

  892. got a

  893. home,

  894. offer

  895. hospitality.

  896. If you've

  897. got a

  898. car,

  899. offer a

  900. lift.

  901. Work with

  902. your

  903. hands.

  904. Our

  905. abilities and

  906. our

  907. resources are

  908. to be

  909. used

  910. generously.

  911. Don't

  912. hold back.

  913. Don't

  914. settle for

  915. minimum.

  916. It's

  917. always love

  918. is more

  919. and more.

  920. Love is

  921. filled

  922. with

  923. generosity.

  924. So what

  925. does love

  926. look like?

  927. Well, it's

  928. done quietly,

  929. humbly,

  930. and generously.

  931. In fact,

  932. our love

  933. for one

  934. another

  935. has a

  936. profound

  937. impact

  938. on those

  939. around us

  940. who are

  941. not yet

  942. Christians.

  943. Did you

  944. see that

  945. in verse

  946. 12?

  947. So here's

  948. the flow

  949. of thought.

  950. God has

  951. taught you

  952. how to

  953. love,

  954. verse 9.

  955. Love more

  956. and more,

  957. verse 10.

  958. Quietly,

  959. humbly,

  960. and generously

  961. work out

  962. your love,

  963. verse 12,

  964. so that

  965. your daily

  966. life may

  967. win the

  968. respect

  969. of

  970. outsiders.

  971. Love is

  972. quiet,

  973. but it

  974. is seen.

  975. Love is

  976. humble,

  977. but it

  978. is felt.

  979. love is

  980. generous,

  981. and it's

  982. experienced.

  983. You see,

  984. our daily

  985. lives,

  986. soaked in

  987. love,

  988. filled by

  989. the power

  990. of the

  991. Holy Spirit,

  992. where love

  993. bubbles out

  994. and over,

  995. will have

  996. an amazing

  997. effect on

  998. our community.

  999. It will,

  1000. verse 12,

  1001. win the

  1002. respect

  1003. of outsiders.

  1004. We will

  1005. begin to

  1006. look like

  1007. what we

  1008. talk about,

  1009. if we

  1010. proclaim

  1011. God loves

  1012. you,

  1013. well,

  1014. we will

  1015. be a

  1016. people

  1017. that love

  1018. too.

  1019. We will

  1020. reflect that

  1021. love in

  1022. our words

  1023. and our

  1024. actions.

  1025. I've had

  1026. this happy

  1027. experience

  1028. recently of

  1029. someone telling

  1030. me that

  1031. the reason

  1032. they started

  1033. coming was

  1034. because the

  1035. love they

  1036. received from

  1037. the people.

  1038. love

  1039. never

  1040. underestimate

  1041. how your

  1042. love for

  1043. one another

  1044. can affect

  1045. those who

  1046. look on

  1047. and see

  1048. what's

  1049. happening.

  1050. Love

  1051. wins the

  1052. respect

  1053. of others.

  1054. You see,

  1055. what we've

  1056. been thinking

  1057. about this

  1058. morning is

  1059. really an

  1060. outworking of

  1061. Christ's love

  1062. in us.

  1063. As God

  1064. teaches us,

  1065. as he gives

  1066. us his

  1067. Holy Spirit,

  1068. we are

  1069. enabled to

  1070. love because

  1071. Christ loves

  1072. me and

  1073. he loves

  1074. you.

  1075. In love,

  1076. Christ

  1077. quietly

  1078. came.

  1079. No big

  1080. announcements,

  1081. no shouting

  1082. and making

  1083. noise.

  1084. He entered

  1085. the world

  1086. through an

  1087. unknown teenager

  1088. in an

  1089. outhouse.

  1090. He came

  1091. to seek

  1092. and save.

  1093. He came

  1094. in love

  1095. so that

  1096. we might

  1097. know him.

  1098. In love,

  1099. Christ

  1100. humbly

  1101. served,

  1102. not demanding

  1103. his rights

  1104. or seeking

  1105. his wants.

  1106. He didn't

  1107. judge or

  1108. condemn.

  1109. He humbled

  1110. himself.

  1111. He made

  1112. himself

  1113. nothing.

  1114. He became

  1115. a servant

  1116. for you

  1117. and for

  1118. me.

  1119. In love,

  1120. Christ

  1121. generously

  1122. gave.

  1123. He held

  1124. nothing back.

  1125. He sacrificed.

  1126. He gave

  1127. of his life

  1128. on the

  1129. cross,

  1130. suffering

  1131. from my

  1132. sin and

  1133. your sin.

  1134. Christ

  1135. loved us

  1136. to the very

  1137. end.

  1138. And guess

  1139. what?

  1140. He still

  1141. loves us

  1142. today.

  1143. Look at

  1144. Christ.

  1145. See the

  1146. wonder of

  1147. his love

  1148. who quietly

  1149. came,

  1150. who humbly

  1151. served

  1152. and generously

  1153. give.

  1154. May God

  1155. fill us

  1156. with his

  1157. love today

  1158. so that

  1159. it will

  1160. overflow

  1161. more and

  1162. more to

  1163. one another

  1164. and to

  1165. the

  1166. community

  1167. in which

  1168. we live.

  1169. Let's

  1170. pray.

  1171. for you

  1172. yourselves

  1173. have been

  1174. taught by

  1175. God to

  1176. love each

  1177. other.

  1178. Yet we

  1179. urge you

  1180. and encourage

  1181. you to

  1182. do so

  1183. more

  1184. and more.

  1185. Father God,

  1186. would you

  1187. pour your

  1188. love into

  1189. our lives.

  1190. Help us

  1191. that we may

  1192. experience your

  1193. love afresh by

  1194. your Holy

  1195. Spirit

  1196. so that we

  1197. may overflow

  1198. in quiet,

  1199. humble,

  1200. generous love

  1201. towards one

  1202. another.

  1203. Thank you for

  1204. loving us

  1205. so much.

  1206. Thank you for

  1207. the love of

  1208. one another.

  1209. Thank you

  1210. for this

  1211. loving

  1212. church.

  1213. In Jesus'

  1214. name we

  1215. pray.

  1216. Amen.

  1217. Amen.

  1218. Well, we're

  1219. going to sing

  1220. a song that

  1221. brings a

  1222. love.
