  1. Giving us a little bit of information about who he is and what you're doing and how we can be praying for him.

  2. !

  3. John chapter 8, and we're going to be reading from verses 12 to 20 just in a moment.

    John 8 chapter mention

  4. But as Alex said, my wife and I, Monica, we are privileged to serve as members at Carrig Tool Baptist Church.

  5. And we're super thankful for the partnership that we have with you guys here at Carrig Align.

  6. And super thankful for all the churches we're privileged to partner with in the Court Carry Project.

  7. Some ways you can be praying for us.

  8. So you can pray for Monica and I as we just moved over in January.

  9. So we continue to adjust and it's been an awesome experience.

  10. But still just getting some logistical things worked out with visas and that sort of thing.

  11. You can pray for us as we'll be both starting as students at UCC in the fall.

  12. I think two weeks.

  13. I should probably check on that.

  14. See what time we actually start.

  15. But yeah, you can pray as we begin our studies there at UCC.

  16. And ultimately pray for us at Carrig Tool Baptist Church as we seek to shine a light into a rapidly growing community.

  17. But a community that is in great need of the gospel.

  18. And so please pray for those things.

  19. But like I said, we're going to be in John chapter 8 this morning, verses 12 to 20.

    John 8 chapter mention

  20. So let's read together.

  21. John records,

  22. So the Pharisees said to him,

  23. You are testifying about yourself.

  24. Your testimony is not valid.

  25. Jesus said,

  26. Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true because I know where I come from and I know where I'm going.

  27. But you don't know where I come from or where I'm going.

  28. You judge by human standards, but I judge no one.

  29. And if I do judge, my judgment is true.

  30. Because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

  31. Even in your law, it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.

  32. I am the one who testifies about myself.

  33. And the Father who sent me testifies about me.

  34. Then they asked him,

  35. Where is your Father?

  36. You know neither me nor my Father, Jesus answered.

  37. If you knew me, you would also know my Father.

  38. He spoke these words by the treasury while teaching in the temple.

  39. But no one seized him because his hour had not yet come.

  40. Let's pray together.

  41. God, this morning, I ask that you would speak to us through your word.

  42. God, you know better than anyone my fears, my anxieties, my inability to do this task, God, of preaching your word.

  43. But I ask that you would, by the power of your spirit, empower me to speak with clarity.

  44. And God, these truths we encounter, would you help us to leave this place with a greater understanding of who you are.

  45. That you are the Messiah.

  46. That you're God in human flesh.

  47. And that we can trust you with every ounce of our being.

  48. God, would you give me clarity of thought and clarity of speech.

  49. And make all of this this morning more like your son, Jesus.

  50. And we ask all these things in his name.

  51. Amen.

  52. Now, when I was a child, there was a popular Christian children's song.

  53. You may know it.

  54. It was called, I Just Want to Be a Sheep.

  55. Does anyone know that song?

  56. Okay, perfect.

  57. Two people.

  58. Awesome.

  59. Well, I know it's a little silly, but just bear with me here.

  60. One of the verses goes something like this.

  61. I don't want to be a Pharisee because they're not fair, you see.

  62. I know.

  63. I know.

  64. It's a little silly.

  65. It gets a few points for creativity with the play on words.

  66. But still, it's a little ridiculous.

  67. There's actually another verse, which is even worse, if you can believe it.

  68. It's about not wanting to be a Sadducee because they are so sad, you see.

  69. You can save that away for later.

  70. I'm not going to share the whole thing with you.

  71. But while the song, it's a little ridiculous, it's a little silly.

  72. It does serve to illustrate a reality that we find in our text today.

  73. The Pharisees have not been fair, you see.

  74. They have not seen Jesus for who he truly is.

  75. In response to his proclamation that he is the light of the world, the Pharisees question Jesus.

  76. And Jesus, as we're going to see, he defends himself by grounding his teaching in his own identity

  77. and in the witness of God the Father.

  78. But before we can unpack Jesus' teaching and the response from the Pharisees,

  79. it's important that we situate this exchange in its proper context.

  80. In the previous chapter, chapter 7, Jesus made his way to the temple

  81. and he began to teach some of those gathered there for the Feast of Booths,

  82. which is also called the Feast of Tabernacles.

  83. Now, this feast was rich with symbolism.

  84. Part of what would happen during the feast is that individuals,

  85. they would live in these small shelters that were built to remember God's provision

  86. during the days when their ancestors had wandered in the wilderness.

  87. There was also the pouring out of water by the priest,

  88. which was meant to represent God's ultimate provision of a Messiah

  89. and the knowledge of God that that Messiah would bring.

  90. So Jesus' teaching in chapter 7, verses 37 and 38,

  91. where he offers living water to the spiritually thirsty,

  92. it speaks with special significance.

  93. You can imagine this incredible scene,

  94. the pouring out of water meant to anticipate the coming of the Messiah,

  95. and here he is in the flesh.

  96. He's offering living water.

  97. Now, in our modern copies of the Bible,

  98. if you were to look down, you'll see that in between Jesus' teaching,

  99. which ends at chapter 7, verse 52,

  100. in our passage today,

  101. you'll find the account of a woman caught in adultery.

  102. But when the Gospel of John was first written,

  103. there would have been no separation between Jesus' teaching,

  104. which ends at chapter 7, verse 52,

  105. in our passage today.

  106. The events in our passage, verses 12 to 20,

  107. they would have followed immediately after chapter 7, verse 52.

  108. Now, you're probably thinking to yourself,

  109. why in the world is Tyler telling us all of this?

  110. Well, it helps to set the stage for the exchange that we see in our passage today.

  111. Jesus' teaching in our text today

  112. would also have taken place during the Feast of Booths.

  113. And the significance of Jesus' teaching,

  114. it's going to be best understood in that context,

  115. the context of the celebration of the feast.

  116. So now that I've thoroughly confused everyone,

  117. let's turn to our text today.

  118. looking again at verse 12.

  119. Jesus spoke to them again.

  120. I am the light of the world.

  121. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness,

  122. but will have the light of life.

  123. To those who are gathered in the temple,

  124. Jesus presents two options.

  125. He presents belief leading to light and to life,

  126. and by implication, disbelief leading to darkness and to death.

  127. Now, if you were to flip briefly through John's gospel,

  128. you would find that this language of light is quite common.

  129. In the opening chapter of the book that we actually read this morning,

  130. chapter 1, verses 1 to 4,

  131. we're told that all things were created through him.

  132. And apart from him, not one thing was created that has been created.

  133. In him was life.

  134. And that life was the light of men.

  135. And in our passage today,

  136. this theme, which runs throughout John's gospel,

  137. it's going to find new expression.

  138. Because remember that Jesus is teaching here.

  139. It's occurring during the Feast of Booths.

  140. That commemoration of God's provision,

  141. where the people would live in those small shelters,

  142. and the priest would pour out the water

  143. in anticipation of the Messiah.

  144. Another interesting element of the Feast of Booths

  145. that I haven't yet mentioned,

  146. it was a ceremony where torches and large lamps would be lit

  147. as a reminder of the pillar of fire

  148. which guided the people of Israel

  149. during their wanderings in the wilderness.

  150. These lights and torches, which were lit during the feast,

  151. they wouldn't have been tiny flames.

  152. It would have been a massive blaze,

  153. and it would have been something

  154. that could have been clearly seen

  155. both inside and outside the temple grounds.

  156. So for those who have just heard Jesus' teaching

  157. that he is the light of the world,

  158. the light associated with the ceremony

  159. would have surely been called to their mind.

  160. And again, this is an incredible image

  161. because during a festival

  162. where the ceremony of light unfolds,

  163. a ceremony serving as a reminder of God's presence

  164. and his provision during the wilderness wanderings,

  165. here is Jesus, God in human flesh,

  166. dwelling among his creation

  167. in order to make provision for humanity's sin.

  168. And Jesus still offers this choice to each and every one of us.

  169. Light and life for those who believe,

  170. for all those who would believe,

  171. or darkness and death to those who reject him.

  172. So how is it that the Pharisees respond to Jesus' powerful proclamation?

  173. Let's look again at verse 13.

  174. It says,

  175. So the Pharisees said to him,

  176. You are testifying about yourself.

  177. Your testimony is not valid.

  178. Now, you probably don't find the Pharisees' accusation

  179. in response to Jesus all that shocking.

  180. Because if you're familiar with the relationship

  181. between the religious leaders and Jesus,

  182. as it's described throughout the Gospels,

  183. the response probably doesn't strike you as anything out of the ordinary.

  184. But once again, in today's text,

  185. we find these religious leaders walking the same well-worn path.

  186. And what's more, they drum up this objection

  187. that Jesus has actually already addressed before.

  188. In a previous exchange in chapter 5.

  189. In chapter 5, verses 31 to 47,

  190. Jesus lays out several reliable witnesses.

  191. John the Baptist, Jesus' works themselves,

  192. and God the Father,

  193. they have all testified to Jesus' identity and his mission.

  194. But in our passage today,

  195. the Pharisees respond to this teaching

  196. by saying to him in verse 13,

  197. You're testifying about yourself.

  198. Your testimony is not valid.

  199. Now, in one sense,

  200. what the Pharisees say,

  201. it's not all that unreasonable.

  202. Because we find in places like the book of Deuteronomy,

  203. in chapter 1915,

  204. one witness cannot establish any iniquity or sin against a person,

  205. whatever that person has done.

  206. A fact must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

  207. And Jesus himself,

  208. he's referenced this sort of command in John chapter 5.

    John 5 chapter mention

  209. But the problem is these Pharisees,

  210. they've either ignored or are unaware of the fact

  211. that there are others vouching for Jesus.

  212. Jesus isn't the only one who has been giving testimony

  213. in support of his identity and his ministry.

  214. So, at the outset,

  215. there's a sense in which

  216. the foundation of the Pharisees' accusation towards Jesus,

  217. it's just wrong.

  218. But look at how Jesus responds.

  219. At least to begin with,

  220. Jesus shows that even if it were the case

  221. that he's the only one bearing witness

  222. to his identity and to his ministry,

  223. it wouldn't matter.

  224. How is it that he does this?

  225. He responds to this accusation from the Pharisees,

  226. first by grounding the truth of his testimony

  227. in his own identity.

  228. To say it another way,

  229. Jesus' testimony is true because of who Jesus is.

  230. Let's look again at verses 14 to 16.

  231. We find in verse 14,

  232. even if I testify about myself,

  233. Jesus replied,

  234. my testimony is true

  235. because I know where I came from

  236. and where I am going.

  237. But you don't know where I come from

  238. or where I am going.

  239. You judge by human standards.

  240. I judge no one.

  241. And if I do judge,

  242. my judgment is true

  243. because it is not I alone who judge,

  244. but I and the Father who sent me.

  245. Jesus says to these Pharisees,

  246. listen, even if what you're saying is true,

  247. it doesn't matter.

  248. What I am saying is true because of who I am.

  249. Jesus is the Messiah.

  250. He's God in human flesh,

  251. and God does not lie.

  252. In Numbers 23, 19,

  253. the author tells us

  254. that God is not like his human creation

  255. when it comes to matters of trustworthiness.

  256. For God is not a man that he might lie

  257. or a son of man that he might change his mind.

  258. Does he speak and not act?

  259. Does he promise and not fulfill?

  260. And of course,

  261. the implied answer to those rhetorical questions

  262. is absolutely not.

  263. Or you can consider Titus 1, verses 1 to 3,

    Titus 1:1–3

  264. where Paul introduces the epistle this way.

  265. Paul, a servant of God

  266. and an apostle of Jesus Christ,

  267. for the faith of God's elect

  268. and their knowledge of the truth

  269. that leads to godliness,

  270. in the hope of eternal life

  271. that God, who cannot lie,

  272. promised before time began.

  273. There's no need to worry about

  274. whether Jesus is telling the truth or not.

  275. He's not been lying to these Pharisees.

  276. In fact, he cannot lie.

  277. Now, I want to stop for just a moment

  278. because for those of us who are in Christ,

  279. this truth should be a point of great comfort.

  280. In Romans 8, 28,

  281. it tells us that in every single circumstance,

  282. God is working for our good.

  283. That is a certainty.

  284. Or when we're told in 1 John 1, 9,

  285. that the person who confesses their sins

  286. will be met with forgiveness,

  287. you can rest in that truth.

  288. That is a certainty.

  289. Jesus is God incarnate,

  290. and God will never,

  291. indeed, he can never lie.

  292. His testimony is trustworthy always.

  293. In Jesus, he continues his response

  294. to the Pharisees in verses 15 and 16.

  295. It says,

  296. You judge by human standards.

  297. I judge no one.

  298. And if I do judge,

  299. my judgment is true,

  300. because it is not I alone who judge,

  301. but I am the Father who sent me.

  302. Now, if you're anything like me,

  303. you probably found verses 15 to 16

  304. a bit confusing,

  305. at least at first glance.

  306. Is Jesus saying he does judge here,

  307. or that he doesn't judge,

  308. or is John just sort of contradicting himself?

  309. Well, I don't believe so,

  310. but I need to be clear on my starting point.

  311. I think, I believe that the Bible is God's word.

  312. And as we've already discussed,

  313. God cannot lie.

  314. And so, I don't believe that

  315. when we properly understand

  316. what a text is saying,

  317. the Bible ever contradicts itself.

  318. But those considerations aside,

  319. I think we can probably give

  320. the human author of the Gospel of John

  321. the benefit of the doubt,

  322. because it seems unlikely

  323. that in the span of just a few verses,

  324. he would fail to notice

  325. if he were actually contradicting himself.

  326. So, what is he saying here?

  327. Well, I think rather than understanding

  328. Jesus' words here

  329. as a general claim to the effect

  330. that he never judges under any circumstances,

  331. I think they're meant to communicate

  332. a particular kind of judgment

  333. that Jesus never engages in.

  334. And we can begin to see this

  335. with greater clarity

  336. when we look at how he describes

  337. the judgment of the Pharisees.

  338. He uses this phrase

  339. by human standards.

  340. Or some translations,

  341. they use the phrase

  342. according to the flesh.

  343. The Pharisees are way off base

  344. in their evaluations of Jesus.

  345. And I love the way

  346. this one scholar puts it.

  347. He says,

  348. they see his flesh,

  349. as it were,

  350. but they never contemplate

  351. the possibility

  352. that he could be the word made flesh.

  353. Jesus sees things

  354. as they truly are.

  355. And he judges rightly.

  356. The text tells us

  357. that his judgments are good

  358. and they're right

  359. and they're made in unison

  360. with the Father.

  361. And again,

  362. in this truth,

  363. you and I can be thankful.

  364. We live in a fallen world.

  365. A world where,

  366. because of sin,

  367. things are not

  368. as they should be.

  369. As we mentioned this morning,

  370. if you watch or listen

  371. to the news for an hour,

  372. this will become

  373. abundantly clear.

  374. But in the midst of a world

  375. so often marked by injustice,

  376. we can trust that God

  377. is seeing things

  378. for what they are.

  379. And one day,

  380. he will exercise

  381. final judgment.

  382. This is the way

  383. the Apostle Paul

  384. describes it.

  385. He,

  386. God the Father,

  387. has set a day

  388. when he is going

  389. to judge the world

  390. in righteousness

  391. by the man

  392. he has appointed.

  393. He's provided proof

  394. of this to everyone

  395. by raising him

  396. from the dead.

  397. And you can rest assured

  398. that when he judges,

  399. he will judge correctly.

  400. Not in a human

  401. or fallible

  402. and fleshly way.

  403. So to take stock

  404. of where we've come so far,

  405. so thus far,

  406. Jesus,

  407. he's grounded

  408. the truth

  409. of his testimony

  410. in his identity.

  411. But now,

  412. he's going to bring

  413. an outside witness

  414. to his defense.

  415. Jesus teaches

  416. those gathered

  417. in the temple

  418. that his testimony

  419. is also affirmed

  420. by God the Father.

  421. Again,

  422. in verses

  423. 17 and 18,

  424. John records

  425. that even

  426. in your law,

  427. it is written

  428. that the testimony

  429. of two witnesses

  430. is true.

  431. I am the one

  432. who testifies

  433. about myself

  434. and the Father

  435. who sent me

  436. testifies

  437. about me.

  438. Jesus says to them,

  439. By the way,

  440. it isn't just me

  441. who's saying

  442. these things.

  443. Again,

  444. we've already seen

  445. that in chapter 5,

  446. Jesus had presented

  447. several reliable witnesses

  448. !

  449. who have vouched

  450. for his identity.

  451. But in our text today,

  452. he mentions

  453. just one witness,

  454. God the Father.

  455. So how is it

  456. that the Father

  457. has testified

  458. and vouched

  459. for Jesus'

  460. identity?

  461. Well,

  462. one way

  463. was his affirmation

  464. of Jesus

  465. and his ministry

  466. that took place

  467. at Jesus' baptism.

  468. This is how

  469. the Gospel of Matthew

  470. records those events.

  471. When Jesus was baptized,

  472. he went up

  473. immediately

  474. from the water.

  475. The heavens

  476. suddenly opened

  477. for him

  478. and he saw

  479. the Spirit of God

  480. descending like a dove

  481. and coming down on him.

  482. And a voice

  483. from heaven said,

  484. This is my beloved Son,

  485. with whom

  486. I am well pleased.

  487. Jesus

  488. and his ministry

  489. had received

  490. the Father's stamp

  491. of approval,

  492. a visible

  493. and audible

  494. affirmation

  495. that Jesus

  496. is the Son

  497. of God,

  498. God

  499. in human flesh.

  500. And we see

  501. another incredible

  502. example

  503. of this

  504. historically

  505. verifiable

  506. event

  507. of the resurrection

  508. where God

  509. raises Jesus

  510. from the dead

  511. and he vindicates

  512. his claims.

  513. But sadly,

  514. despite these things,

  515. we find

  516. the Pharisees

  517. unwilling

  518. or unable

  519. to accept

  520. what Jesus

  521. is saying.

  522. In verse 19,

  523. they ask Jesus,

  524. Where is this Father

  525. that you've been

  526. saying so much about?

  527. Now,

  528. the text,

  529. it doesn't say

  530. whether this is

  531. a genuine question

  532. on the part

  533. of the Pharisees

  534. or whether

  535. they're attempting

  536. to mock

  537. Jesus' teaching

  538. in some way.

  539. And I can certainly

  540. see them asking

  541. this question

  542. to sort of

  543. poke fun

  544. at Jesus.

  545. But either way,

  546. this question

  547. represents a failure

  548. to understand

  549. Jesus'

  550. very nature

  551. and the closeness

  552. of the relationship

  553. that he shares

  554. with God,

  555. the Father.

  556. And we can see

  557. this in Jesus'

  558. response to

  559. their question

  560. in verse 19.

  561. He says to them,

  562. You know neither

  563. me nor my Father.

  564. If you knew me,

  565. you would also

  566. know my Father.

  567. How is it that

  568. Jesus can say

  569. something like that?

  570. Well,

  571. John tells us

  572. in John chapter 1,

    John 1 chapter mention

  573. 18,

  574. that no one

  575. has seen God,

  576. the one

  577. and only

  578. Son

  579. who is

  580. himself

  581. God

  582. and is

  583. at the

  584. Father's

  585. side.

  586. He has

  587. revealed

  588. him.

  589. Another

  590. translation

  591. says that

  592. Jesus is

  593. in closest

  594. relationship

  595. with the

  596. Father.

  597. How close

  598. is this

  599. relationship

  600. between Jesus

  601. and the

  602. Father?

  603. Well,

  604. let's flip

  605. forward,

  606. if you would,

  607. just briefly

  608. to John

    John 14 chapter mention

  609. chapter 14.

  610. John chapter

    John 14 chapter mention

  611. 14,

  612. and we're

  613. going to be

  614. looking just

  615. really briefly

  616. at verses

  617. 8 through

  618. 11.

  619. John records

  620. this interaction

  621. between Jesus

  622. and Philip.

  623. In verse 8,

  624. it says,

  625. Lord,

  626. said Philip,

  627. show us the

  628. Father,

  629. and that's

  630. enough for

  631. us.

  632. Jesus said

  633. to him,

  634. have I been

  635. among you

  636. all this

  637. time,

  638. and you

  639. still don't

  640. know me,

  641. Philip?

  642. The one

  643. who has

  644. seen me

  645. has seen

  646. the Father.

  647. How can

  648. you say,

  649. show us

  650. the Father?

  651. Don't you

  652. believe that

  653. I am in

  654. the Father

  655. and that

  656. the Father

  657. is in me?

  658. The words

  659. I speak

  660. to you,

  661. I do not

  662. speak on

  663. my own.

  664. The Father

  665. who lives

  666. in me

  667. does his

  668. works.

  669. Believe me

  670. that I am

  671. in the

  672. Father.

  673. And the

  674. Father

  675. is in

  676. me.

  677. Otherwise,

  678. believe because

  679. of the

  680. works

  681. themselves.

  682. We have

  683. to remember

  684. that yes,

  685. there is a

  686. distinction

  687. between the

  688. persons of

  689. the Trinity,

  690. between

  691. Father,

  692. Son,

  693. and Holy

  694. Spirit.

  695. But each

  696. person partakes

  697. of the divine

  698. nature and

  699. is fully

  700. God.

  701. Sharing a

  702. closeness and

  703. an intimacy

  704. that is

  705. impossible for

  706. you and I

  707. as finite

  708. humanity to

  709. fully grasp.

  710. As John

  711. says,

  712. the Son is

  713. in closest

  714. relationship

  715. with the

  716. Father.

  717. How is it

  718. that Jesus

  719. can say to

  720. these Pharisees

  721. that if they

  722. knew him,

  723. they would

  724. know the

  725. Father?

  726. It's because

  727. the Father

  728. and Son

  729. share a

  730. relationship

  731. such that

  732. Jesus can

  733. say,

  734. to see me

  735. is to see

  736. him.

  737. God's

  738. love

  739. and

  740. so in

  741. this

  742. exchange

  743. with the

  744. Pharisees,

  745. we've seen

  746. Jesus defend

  747. the truth of

  748. his teachings

  749. by appealing

  750. to his own

  751. identity in

  752. the testimony

  753. of the

  754. Father.

  755. But now

  756. as we come

  757. to the

  758. final verse

  759. of this

  760. passage,

  761. we find

  762. John's

  763. affirmation

  764. of God's

  765. sovereign

  766. control

  767. over all

  768. things.

  769. If you

  770. look with

  771. me one

  772. more time

  773. at verse

  774. 20,

  775. John makes

  776. a point

  777. here to

  778. tell us

  779. where it

  780. is that

  781. Jesus has

  782. been teaching.

  783. He says,

  784. he, that

  785. is Jesus,

  786. he spoke

  787. these words

  788. by the

  789. treasury

  790. while teaching

  791. in the

  792. temple,

  793. but no

  794. one seized

  795. him because

  796. his hour

  797. had not

  798. yet come.

  799. It's

  800. important for

  801. us to

  802. remember that

  803. this is a

  804. public place

  805. where Jesus

  806. has been

  807. saying these

  808. things.

  809. And Jesus,

  810. he's saying

  811. some things

  812. that if

  813. they're

  814. understood

  815. by the

  816. people

  817. listening

  818. to them,

  819. they're

  820. likely to

  821. put them

  822. in some

  823. pretty hot

  824. water.

  825. But John

  826. reminds us

  827. again that

  828. Jesus was

  829. being guarded

  830. by God

  831. for arrest

  832. until the

  833. proper time.

  834. The time

  835. would come

  836. for Jesus

  837. to be

  838. arrested

  839. and handed

  840. over to

  841. the authorities,

  842. but not

  843. quite yet.

  844. There was

  845. work yet to

  846. be done,

  847. and nothing

  848. and no

  849. one could

  850. thwart

  851. God's

  852. plan.

  853. And

  854. brothers and

  855. sisters,

  856. this is

  857. true not

  858. only of

  859. the events

  860. surrounding

  861. Jesus'

  862. life and

  863. ministry,

  864. but our

  865. lives as

  866. well.

  867. Over

  868. every

  869. intimate

  870. detail of

  871. your life,

  872. over every

  873. intimate detail

  874. of my

  875. life,

  876. God is

  877. in control.

  878. God is

  879. working his

  880. perfect plan,

  881. a plan

  882. that will

  883. result in

  884. your good

  885. and his

  886. glory.

  887. Let's pray

  888. together.

  889. God, thank

  890. you so much

  891. for the

  892. opportunity

  893. to open

  894. your word

  895. today.

  896. God, I

  897. just want

  898. to thank

  899. you for

  900. who you

  901. are.

  902. And as

  903. we leave

  904. this place,

  905. would you

  906. instill in

  907. us a

  908. greater

  909. understanding

  910. of your

  911. nature and

  912. your kindness

  913. to us in

  914. Jesus Christ?

  915. And would

  916. you make us

  917. more and more

  918. like him

  919. each and

  920. every day?

  921. Amen.
