This uh is part the eighth part of this.
-
And uh so far in this series, we've dealt with the different topics.
-
God is completely uh faithful to his word.
-
Healing is now uh anything Christ shed blood to redeem us from is always the will of God.
-
Uh healing and feelings, expect God to restore.
-
We dealt with make the promises of God concerning healing your own.
-
Last week we dealt with trust God during the process.
-
And uh today we want to look at this.
-
God will speed up the healing process.
-
God will speed up the healing process.
-
And um we'll start in Mark I in uh in his book, I believe in visions, Brother Hagin's book, I believe in visions.
-
Uh there's a chapter in his book entitled A Hospital Visitor.
-
And uh he was in the in the hospital uh because he'd injured his arm at a service that he was in.
-
And uh I won't take the time to get into all of that that Jesus dealt with him concerning, but he said something to him uh when he was there.
-
Uh he had that visitation with the Lord, and uh he was speaking to him, and he said to him, He said, Always pray for people who are sick and in hospitals and under doctors' care that I'll speed up the healing process.
-
Because I will do that for you.
-
All right, I will do that for you.
-
And uh, you know, it's never God's will or desire that anybody have a prolonged illness.
-
That's not God's will, it's not his desire, sickness, any any form, obviously, is not God's will or desire.
-
Um He desires that wellness, that wholeness uh come to us as quickly as possible.
-
And um He said something else in that encounter, the Lord did, and he talked about how that you know there are people that didn't know how to build their faith for healing, uh they didn't know how to uh believe for uh healing in their bodies.
-
And in Mark 1, we're just gonna take some time and look at this primarily from the four gospels and the book of Acts.
-
Um in Mark chapter 1 and verse 29, this is the account of Jesus and Peter's mother-in-law.
Mark 1 chapter mention
-
And it says forthwith when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew with James and John.
-
But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and on they tell him of her very quickly, very speedily they told him about her.
-
And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and notice, and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
-
Immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
-
And uh in studying this over a number of years, I've seen this was a chronic fever.
-
This was not a one-off.
-
She didn't get sick and get a fever, it was something that she dealt with consistently.
-
She dealt with uh quite regularly, chronic fever, meaning something that persists or something that continues for a long time.
-
And Jesus went in, where this had been going on for ever how long, dealing with this for some time, and he touched her, and notice the phrase, immediately, the fever left.
-
One translation says he rebuked the fever, and it left.
-
Immediately, the fever left.
-
So we can see the the healing process being sped up.
-
Now, the reason this is so important is these are things that I've got to exercise my faith for.
-
And they said, yesterday at one o'clock.
-
And that's wonderful.
-
I mean, that hey, we need to teach on that.
-
We need to preach on that.
-
But that's part of healing.
-
That's not every part of healing.
-
You don't have to just believe for progressive healing.
-
You don't have to just believe for things to get better over time.
-
You can believe for things to happen today.
-
Right?
-
You can believe for things to happen in the next 24 hours.
-
Now, here's the thing.
-
Here's the thing.
-
If you're believing for it and you don't see it in 24 hours, then don't be put off by it.
-
Just keep believing.
-
Right?
-
Because healing always comes.
-
All right.
-
If you're believing for it, healing always comes.
-
But when Jesus touched her, immediately the fever left.
-
Immediately.
-
Now I don't need to just talk to you about what immediately means.
-
When you look it up in the Greek, it it says at once, immediately.
-
So immediately means immediately.
-
But notice that when Jesus touched her, immediately the fever left.
-
In Matthew chapter eight.
-
Matthew chapter eight.
-
And we'll start in verse one.
-
And it says, When he was come down, when Jesus was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
-
And behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.
-
And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him, saying, I will be thou clean.
-
Notice, and immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
-
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
-
The 20th century New Testament says, instantly, instantly his leprosy was cleansed.
-
Well, again, leprosy is a chronic infection.
-
All right, it's a chronic infection.
-
It's progressive.
-
The skin and the nerves are affected, and it can lead to deformities in the body and sight problems.
-
But the point is, this man, ever how long he's had it, we don't know how long he's had it.
-
All right.
-
It's a chronic condition.
-
But he came to Jesus and instantly he was made well.
-
Instantly he was made well.
-
Well, you know, if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then he can still instantly make well today.
-
Right?
-
And again, this man, his biggest issue was, are you willing?
-
Right?
-
Not the power, are you willing?
-
Hallelujah.
-
And so it's it it becomes something where I see this in the Word of God.
-
He came to Jesus and instantly he was well.
-
See, we want to look for the and expect the healing process to speed up.
-
Right?
-
I want to look for it to speed up.
-
I can be getting better, it can be looking better, I want it to speed up.
-
All right?
-
And that that has that has there's two aspects of this, meaning there's there's two things at play here, especially uh when hands are laid on people and these different things, is obviously the faith of the one laying hands on the person and the faith of the person receiving.
-
Right?
-
A lot of times a lot of ministers are putting all the all the onus on the person receiving healing.
-
I've got to be expecting as well.
-
All right?
-
This is so important.
-
Where we're where things like, especially where things like uh cancer, heart trouble, bone issues, back issues, I expect those things to go now.
-
I expect them to leave instantly.
-
I'm talking about in my healing ministry.
-
I expect them to leave now because I've seen them leave now too often.
-
Right?
-
If if they don't leave now, I I start looking at me.
-
All right.
-
I don't look at the person because I don't know what that person's doing.
-
If God don't tell me what they're doing or if they're doing something wrong, I don't look at it.
-
All right, I look at me because I expect that to go.
-
Right?
-
When I lay hands on somebody and they don't get well, then I go and I pray and I say, now, Father, where did I miss it?
-
Because you said lay hands on the sick and they would recover.
-
I laid hands on the sick.
-
Now, too many ministers, here's what they say, well, that person just didn't believe.
-
I don't think we can do that.
-
I don't think we can faithfully be faithful to people and faithful to the word and do that.
-
Jesus laid hands on a blind man and he said, What do you see?
-
And he said, I see men as trees walking, and Jesus, the perfect, undefiled Son of God, that people say everybody got healed in his ministry, had to pray twice.
-
But notice what he didn't say.
-
He didn't say it's your lack of faith or you missed it somewhere.
-
He just prayed again.
-
Right?
-
This is important.
-
And so if if I'm believing, if I'm exercising my faith, this is gonna leave my body.
-
It's gonna go instantly.
-
I believe that it's good the healing process is going to speed up.
-
I have to look for that.
-
I have to expect it.
-
Right?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Say it out loud.
-
The healing process will speed up.
-
Amen.
-
So he came to Jesus.
-
We don't know how long he had been in this condition, but it's a chronic condition, and instantly it left.
-
So it doesn't matter how long something's been.
-
Right?
-
Because the healing power is not affected by how long someone's been dealing with something.
-
Right?
-
Because when it when it when the healing power enters a person's body, it's like releasing ammonia in a room.
-
If we released ammonia in this room, the first thing it would do is form a large pocket in this room.
-
You walk in that pocket, there's no oxygen.
-
Because the the ammonia will take it away.
-
It sucks the oxygen out of the room.
-
When healing goes into a person's body, that sickness no longer has an ability to live.
-
Because it takes the life energy away from it.
-
All right?
-
Sickness has a satanic life.
-
And when the life of God encounters that sickness, it's just like sin in a person's life.
-
It takes it out completely.
-
Hallelujah.
-
In Matthew chapter 20.
Matthew 20 chapter mention
-
And verse 33.
-
These blind men have been crying to Jesus to have mercy on them.
-
Verse 31 says, And the multitude rebuked them that they should hold their peace, but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, son of David.
-
And Jesus stood still and called them and said, What do you want that I should do to you?
-
And they said, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
-
So Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes.
-
And notice immediately their eyes received sight and they followed him where he was going.
-
One translation says their sight came back at once and they followed him.
-
Well, we don't know how long their sight had been gone, but we see how quick it came back.
-
Immediately, at once.
-
Amen.
-
So he touched them, and notice immediately their eyes receive sight.
-
Immediately.
-
Right?
-
If I can find one instance of immediately, I can believe for it.
-
But if we can find as many as I'm going to show you, we sure ought to be believing for it.
-
Because it's something that I believe that he wants us.
-
Now, again, you've got to have balance here, right?
-
In other words, there's nothing wrong with progressive healing.
-
There's nothing wrong with that.
-
That's why the Bible says there's the working of miracles, which is instantaneous, right?
-
Which is uh the word miracle denotes an interruption in the natural course of events.
-
All right, so it's a miracle, right?
-
Something came quickly.
-
And then he says it's the gifts of healings.
-
All right.
-
So healing, more often than not, is spread over a longer period of time.
-
Not necessarily, but but most generally.
-
So I believe for healing, but I'm not putting it off.
-
We teach a lot on, I'm not putting my healing off to the future.
-
I'm not going to be healed.
-
I'm thanking God I am healed.
-
And just add this to it, and the healing process is sped up.
-
Right?
-
Because if I can see it getting better, if it's getting better in increments, it can get better at faster increments.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
So when I'm exercising my faith for the immediate, Father, I thank you that I'm healed now.
-
I thank you that I'm well now.
-
Amen.
-
In Mark chapter 2, and verse 5, these men had let this man down through the roof to Jesus.
Mark 2 chapter mention
-
And when Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, son, your sins are forgiven you.
-
But there were certain of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts.
-
Why does this man thus speak blasphemies?
-
Who can forgive sins but God only?
-
Now there's two things to see here.
-
Number one, he said, your sins be forgiven you.
-
How long did that take?
-
Immediately.
-
When you repented and asked Jesus to become your Lord, was that a process?
-
Did that occur over a period of time?
-
Then he immediately became your Lord.
-
Right?
-
Amen.
-
So he went on and he said, there were certain scribes sitting there reasoning in their hearts, why does this man speak blasphemies?
-
Who can forgive sins but God only?
-
And immediately, when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they reasoned so within themselves, he said, Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
-
Rather, it is easier to say to the sick of the palsy, your sins are forgiven you, or say, Rise and take up your bed and walk, but that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, he saith to the sick of the palsy, I say unto you, arise and take up your bed and go your way into your house.
-
And immediately he arose up, took up the bed, and went forth before them all, insomuch that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
-
Whoo, glory to God.
-
Right?
-
So once again, we don't see in this account how long this man's been in this condition, but he's in such a condition that four guys have to carry him.
-
He can't get there on his own.
-
He's bedfast.
-
And however long it's been, notice, immediately he arose.
-
Now Jesus was expecting this immediately.
-
Why?
-
He said, I say to you, arise, take up your bed, go your way into your house.
-
He was expecting it immediately.
-
And so again, we see something happening at once.
-
So there is progressive healing and there's immediate healing.
-
We can believe and receive both.
-
We can believe and receive both.
-
Both of them take levels of faith.
-
Right?
-
But I I believe that if I'm believing God for health and wellness in my body, it's just as easy to believe that it will speed up, right, than to believe just for progressive healing.
-
Amen.
-
And I'm not minimizing that.
-
I feel like I need to keep reiterating that, but that's the reality of it.
-
Amen.
-
There is progressive healing and there is immediate healing, and we can believe and receive both of those.
-
Luke chapter 8.
Luke 8 chapter mention
-
Now, this is an account that we're familiar with.
-
Luke chapter 8.
Luke 8 chapter mention
-
I'm reading from Luke's account today, verse 43.
-
And a woman having an issue of blood 12 years, which had spent all of her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any.
-
So she's trying to get well.
-
Right?
-
She's going to the doctor.
-
And ever how many she went to, the Bible says she'd spent all of her living on doctors.
-
And they're not helping her.
-
Right?
-
She couldn't be helped by any.
-
And we know how long this has been.
-
Twelve years.
-
Yeah, I don't know about you, but one day is too long for me to be sick.
-
I don't want to be sick for a day or an hour.
-
Right?
-
I know you don't either.
-
Right?
-
But 12 years?
-
Wow, 12 years and you're dealing with this chronic problem and nobody can help you.
-
You know, there's nothing more disheartening than going to the doctor and they say there's nothing we can do.
-
Right?
-
There's nothing we can do.
-
I mean, right?
-
That is a challenge to your faith in itself.
-
Amen.
-
Why?
-
Because now you're told by people that know there's nothing we can do.
-
So she's been dealing with this for twelve years.
-
But she came behind him and touched the border of his garment.
-
And immediately her issue of blood was staunched.
-
Notice again, immediately the flow of blood was stopped.
-
She's had a flow of blood twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, for twelve years.
-
And she encounters the healing power of Jesus, and immediately it stops.
-
Immediately it stopped.
-
Now there's a lot, and we've taught on her extensively, but you remember what she said.
-
She pressed through the crowd, and the Bible says, For she said, If I can touch the hem of his if I touch but the hem of his garment, I shall be made whole.
-
Right?
-
So there's something to see here.
-
She was expecting this to be done.
-
Right?
-
And so where my healing is concerned, and you should be expecting it to be better every day.
-
And we praise God for increments and we thank God for those things.
-
But I also need to be believing when I get up in the morning, I'm going to be whole.
-
Right?
-
You don't, if you have nothing to lose by believing that.
-
Right?
-
If you get up in the morning and for whatever reason you feel better, but there's still evidence, then say it again.
-
Why?
-
Because evidently we move something.
-
If I say, do this immediately, and I feel better in 30 minutes, or I get 10% better or 20% better, I move something.
-
And so if I up my saying, I up the movement.
-
Right?
-
Amen.
-
You know, because here's what happens very often in certain areas.
-
And I'll hear people say this, you know, like you'll kind of notice they're dealing with something.
-
And then they'll make this statement, well, I've been believing, you know, that that that's going.
-
Now, wait a minute.
-
I've been believing that that's going.
-
I please don't misunderstand me.
-
I understand people are where they're at.
-
But here here's if if you want to look at it from the standpoint of real Bible faith, I've been standing on my healing.
-
I'm healed in Jesus' name.
-
Right?
-
Because when somebody says, Well, you know, I've been believing about that, what they're saying is, it's still hanging around, but you know, I'm believing.
-
No, I'm healed.
-
I'm healed.
-
If I am healed, then it doesn't surprise me if I get up in the morning and it's gone.
-
Because I am healed.
-
Right?
-
So are we gonna thank God?
-
Of course we're gonna thank God.
-
But we're right, we're it's not gonna surprise us.
-
Because I've been saying I'm healed.
-
Now, so what do I need to do now?
-
Just believe that he's gonna speed up the manifestation.
-
I'm healed, I'm already healed.
-
I just need the manifestation sped up.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
So immediately the flow of blood stopped.
-
Twelve years, 12 years in one moment of time, 12 years of suffering ended.
-
Hallelujah.
-
In Luke 13.
-
And verse 10.
-
It says Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath, and behold, there was a woman that had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up, bowed together and could not raise herself up, bent over eighteen years.
-
When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said unto her, Woman, you're loose from your infirmity.
-
And he laid his hands on her, and here it is, immediately she was made straight and glorified God.
-
Immediately she was made straight and glorified God.
-
So she's been in this condition for 18 years.
-
Eighteen years.
-
You know, the God of restoration, the time that you've spent in a condition does not affect his ability to immediately restore it.
-
Right?
-
You know, Brother Hagin talking about being on, he so referred to it as his deathbed.
-
Obviously, the Lord raised him up, he would say, from my deathbed.
-
And um, you know, it took it took a matter of time, it took a number of months for him to renew his mind with the word of God.
-
Because he you'll remember he was going through the the word.
-
He said the doctor told him he could die at any moment.
-
So he said I looked at the Bible and there was an Old Testament and a New Testament.
-
And he thought, well, I could die anytime, so I don't have time to go to the old.
-
I need to go to the new, find out what's going on there.
-
And so he's reading through the word, and the first thing God dealt with him about was what?
-
His worry, carrying care, right?
-
Because Jesus said, Don't be anxious about anything.
-
And he told Jesus, he said, if I gotta quit worrying, I can't do it.
-
Right?
-
We worry about everything.
-
Well, he finally got that taken care of, and he got over there to Mark 11, 23 and 24, where Jesus said, if you say to the mountain, be removed, be cast in the sea, and shall not doubt in your heart.
-
Believe those things that you say come to pass, you'll have whatever you say.
-
Right?
-
And he grabbed a hold of that.
-
He grabbed a hold of that.
-
The light came on, and he went through the whole story about wondering, does that mean what I think it means?
-
And and sent his grandma and went to three different ministers trying to get him to come.
-
And finally the third one came.
-
And he said, I'm trying to ask him, is that what it means?
-
And that's the preacher that just grabbed his hand and said, Be patient, my boy.
-
It'll all be over in a few days.
-
Right?
-
And he said, then he walked out and prayed with my mom and my grandparents and prayed during this time of grief, they're about to be bereaved of their son and grandson.
-
Lord, give them strength.
-
Right?
-
And then grandma came in and wanted to plan his funeral.
-
And so they planned his funeral.
-
And he made the statement.
-
He said, you know, the light went out.
-
The light went out.
-
And he said, for something like 30 days, he didn't even look at the word.
-
Didn't even look at it.
-
They said, after 30 days, I got back in the word and I got back over to Mark 11, and he said the light came back on.
-
And he made the statement.
-
I'm saying all this for a reason.
-
He made the statement.
-
He said, he said to the Lord, he said, Lord Jesus, I'm believing.
-
And if I'm believing, you said I would have what I say.
-
You said I'd be healed.
-
I'm believing.
-
And he said, respectfully, Lord, if you were standing in this room and you told me that I was not believing, I would have to look at you and say, Lord Jesus, you're lying about it.
-
I am believing.
-
Right?
-
And he said, the Lord said to him, You're right.
-
You are believing as far as you know.
-
Well, what was he believing as far as he knew?
-
He kept saying, If I say it, I will be healed.
-
I'm going to be healed.
-
I will be healed.
-
And Jesus pointed out to him, he said that if you speak to the mountain and believe in your heart, you'll have, you'll have.
-
Not going to get it, I'll have it when I say it.
-
Right?
-
And he said, I said, I missed it.
-
That's where I missed it.
-
I've been putting it off into the future.
-
And the Lord Jesus said to him, He said, Yes, you have.
-
And he said, and by the way, he said, Well, people are out of bed at 10 o'clock in the morning.
-
Right?
-
And he said, now watch.
-
He said, then when his mother came in, he said, I want you to lay out some clothes for me for tomorrow.
-
I'm going to get up and eat breakfast.
-
Well, the reason he did that was before he ever talked to his mom.
-
He said, All right, if I'm healed, then I need to act on it.
-
If I'm healed, I need to act on it.
-
And he picked his legs up and threw them over the side of the bed.
-
Couldn't walk, still no feeling.
-
Hanging on to the bedpost where he made that statement.
-
He said, I want to announce to the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father and the Holy Spirit and all the angels in heaven.
-
And every devil and demon that's in this room, listen to me, I'm healed.
-
Now we hear that, and it's like, yeah, wasn't that wonderful what the Lord did for Brother Hagan?
-
All those things that God has done for other people, those are things that we look at and they're examples.
-
Jesus said, You are believing as far as you know.
-
As far as you know.
-
So what's the hindrance?
-
What I know.
-
Remember what the Old Testament said?
-
That people are destroyed because they don't know enough.
-
Right?
-
King James says it that my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
-
They're destroyed for a lack of knowledge.
-
And so it's not it's not knowing.
-
It's not knowing.
-
If I look in the Word of God and I see over and over again that people that have been bound for years immediately are set free.
-
Then the length of time I've been dealing with something, right, it doesn't have to affect how quickly I can be relieved of it.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Uh Luke chapter 13.
Luke 13 chapter mention
-
Oh, we just went there, John chapter 5.
John 5 chapter mention
-
And uh verse 6.
-
This was when Jesus went to the pool of Bethesda.
-
And uh verse 5 says, A certain man was there that had an infirmity 38 years.
-
And so it's kept him on his bed, whatever it is, for 38 years.
-
And Jesus saw him lying there and knew he'd been a long time in that case.
-
He said, Do you want to be made whole?
-
Why think if you look at anybody that can't move and ask them, Do you want to be made whole?
-
Probably the response is going to be, Well, duh.
-
Of course I want to be made whole.
-
I'm here.
-
That's what the man basically said.
-
He said, Well, yeah, I'm here, but I can't get in the water.
-
Of course I want to be made whole.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Well, I'm coming, another step's in.
-
Jesus said, Notice, now keep in your mind, 38 years.
-
Did Jesus know 38 years?
-
Yeah, because he said he knew he'd been laying there a long time.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So he knows this, but he said to him, Rise, take up your bed and walk.
-
And here we are again.
-
And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked, and on the same day was the Sabbath day.
-
So once again, 38 years in this condition, we don't know exactly what it was, but it affected his ability to move.
-
And in one moment of time, notice what it says, he was made whole and took up his bed and walked.
-
Immediately.
-
Been an invalid for 38 years.
-
And immediately he's well.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And here's the thing.
-
One translation says, immediately the man became well.
-
38 years of suffering, gone immediately.
-
And here's the thing: this man didn't even know who Jesus was.
-
He didn't even know who he was.
-
When you read on down the chapter, they said, Who told you to take up your bed and walk?
-
He said, The guy that healed me.
-
Right?
-
And he said, What they said, well, who is he?
-
I don't know.
-
Jesus had conveyed himself away, the Bible says.
-
He didn't even know who Jesus was.
-
But he just believed what Jesus said.
-
Immediately.
-
See, when I read something like this, then I take the word back to the Lord and I say, now I see over and over again that these things happened immediately.
-
Now I don't know how you do, but I'm real simplistic in my approach to the word.
-
Because I take it and I say, now, Lord, if if you're no respecter of persons, and I know you're not because the Bible says you're not, if you're the same, you cannot lie, if Jesus is the same, if the word is the same, all these things that we preach, then I see this in the scripture, I should be seeing that in my life.
-
I should see some more immediates in my life.
-
Right?
-
That one verse in the scripture where it says the man was fell in a tree and the axe head fell in the water, that forever changed my opinion of impossible situations.
-
Forever.
-
Forever.
-
If somebody tells me something God told me to do was impossible, I have been known to look at them and say, the axe head swam.
-
That's impossible.
-
It can't, iron can't swim.
-
But it did.
-
Right?
-
See, that changed my opinion of it forever.
-
So impossible is not impossible.
-
Because with God, nothing is impossible.
-
So the immediate is not only possible, it's probable.
-
Right?
-
So I'm going to God with this.
-
Amen.
-
I'm going to God.
-
I see this over and over again, this immediate, this, this immediate removal, this immediate change.
-
Right?
-
If if maybe I don't know how to believe for it, Father, show me how to believe for it.
-
If I don't know, show me.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Do you see that?
-
And again, if I'm experiencing progressive healing, just stay on it.
-
Keep your faith on it.
-
Don't back off of it.
-
Just add that to it.
-
I'm believing this thing's going to speed up.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
I believe, see, like for instance, during the days of the voice of healing, and and and I know, especially in the generation we're in, a lot of people have never heard of that.
-
And so, in all honesty, it's becoming, except for people that have been taught about it, it's becoming something that really doesn't have a lot of merit to this generation.
-
And I'll tell you why, because they want to see it happen now.
-
All right?
-
They want to see it happen now.
-
There are people that I know that have never seen anyone get out of a wheelchair.
-
There are people that I know that have never seen blind eyes open.
-
Ever.
-
They've never seen it.
-
Never seen it.
-
In in this generation.
-
And so it's one thing that we're teaching and preaching it and declaring it.
-
It's another thing for them to see it and experience it.
-
And so, but for those of us that know about the days of the voice of healing, we understand the example that it was.
-
All right?
-
So many of those healings were miraculous, instantaneous right now.
-
Right?
-
And a large part of that was because that's what people were taught to believe.
-
You come to the tent, you come to the convention, you come to the church, we'll lay hands on you, God will heal you.
-
My father preached that for years.
-
And we saw it.
-
My dad would always tell people, he said, look, and this was way back in the day, he would say, if you got to hire an ambulance to bring people, he said, if God doesn't heal them, I'll pay the ambulance fare.
-
I saw, I saw people in in Fredericksburg, Virginia, my dad, we went there for three nights, I think, in the middle of a blizzard.
-
And um, dad had a great revelation on healing and and miracles, didn't have such a great revelation on prosperity.
-
And we were broke.
-
You know, I hear I hear people talk about their car, how bad off their car is, and I look at their car.
-
I think, dear Lord, if you'd if you'd have rode in the car that I grew up in, right?
-
I have a I have a his best friend in Fredericksburg still alive, Norman Gallimore.
-
And he talks about it was a Ford station wagon, right?
-
And the back end was rusted out.
-
I mean, you could see the road, and the tires were as bald as this plexiglass.
-
No, no, no exaggeration.
-
No exaggeration.
-
That's how bad it was.
-
But anyway, we were there for three nights, and Norman decided to go ahead and have the meeting because he felt sorry for us.
-
Felt sorry for my dad.
-
And uh, and so anyway, man, the power of God started moving.
-
We there, we were there one week, and then they went on another week, and then they went on another week, and it was it ended up being three or four weeks of revival and uh uh seven nights a week.
-
And anyway, during that meeting, there were a lot of things that went on.
-
During that meeting, they brought a uh a young child that uh was um I forget exactly how old the child was, maybe three, something like that, and couldn't walk.
-
Baby couldn't walk.
-
There was no, could not use its limbs.
-
And my dad went over to that family while he was getting ready to preach, and he picked that child up and and preached the whole sermon, holding that baby.
-
The whole sermon.
-
Never prayed for it, never prayed for that child.
-
When he got done preaching, he didn't lay hands on the child, he didn't do anything, he just set the child down, said, now walk.
-
And a baby that could never walk walked.
-
It it blew the top off that county.
-
That that that that whole that church, it wasn't a huge church anyway, packed out because things were happening instantly.
-
Right?
-
Well, well, people begin to believe for the instantaneous.
-
Here's what I'm trying to get across in this healing school.
-
Progressive healing is wonderful.
-
We should believe for that, right?
-
That there are there are things that I know people are believing for, and I'm in faith with them.
-
We should believe for that.
-
Don't ever stop believing for that.
-
Add the speeding up to it.
-
Don't just put your faith in over a period of time.
-
Put your faith, keep your faith well rounded.
-
Right?
-
I tell the Lord all the time, Lord, this is getting better.
-
And anytime you just want to take it completely away, you go right ahead.
-
Right?
-
This is important because what we saw during that time was people begin to believe that if I get there, I can be healed.
-
And I think sometimes what we do is we make those events the monument.
-
You know, we see a video of a A.A.
-
Allen meeting where they brought a person on a on a stretcher.
-
Now, Allen was my dad's guy, all right?
-
I mean, that that we had AA, you didn't have tapes back then, you had uh long plane albums.
-
All right, they would they would make record albums of the of the uh the tent meetings, and A.A.
-
Allen was my dad's guy because he was spirit-filled, he was Pentecostal, he was loud.
-
My dad was the loudest man in the world, especially when he preached.
-
You think I get loud?
-
I had a guy tell me the other day, you know, you don't need to be so loud when you preach, and I you just don't get it.
-
I mean, it when it starts flowing anyway, but you think I'm loud.
-
My father made me look like a church mouse.
-
But um, you know, they they they would roll people in.
-
You know, they rolled a guy in on a stretcher, cancer of the stomach, was not able to eat.
-
Brother, and and you'd watch Brother Allen.
-
He would preach and preach and preach and preach until that anointing would show up.
-
And when that anointing would show up, he'd stop.
-
He'd stop everything and jump down and begin to pray for people, pray for the sick.
-
And he always took the hardest cases first.
-
He didn't call for headaches, and then a little later on, he jumped on the hardest cases first.
-
And they brought this guy up cancer of the stomach, came with a nurse.
-
Can't eat, has not been eating.
-
You couldn't tell where the bed began and the man ended.
-
He was so thin.
-
Had not eight, I forget, six months, had not eight.
-
Brother Alan prayed for him, rebuked that foul spirit of cancer in his body.
-
And I mean, he didn't just lay hands on his head.
-
He whoop hit him in the stomach, said, In the name of Jesus, you come out of him, you foul cancer.
-
And then he pulled him up, didn't wait.
-
He pulled him up.
-
Said, Now stand up here and praise the Lord.
-
And that man started praising the Lord, and it was it was kind of timid at first, but boy, it got better and better and better and better and better.
-
And then he said, Somebody run to the commissary and get me a ham and cheese sandwich and a glas and a and a carton of milk and bring it out here.
-
And that man was sitting there and he said, Brother, how long has it been since you ate?
-
He told him, he said, Well, you're going to eat tonight.
-
And he opened that sandwich up and gave it to him, gave him the milk, and the man ate the sandwich, ate them, and drank the milk.
-
Amen.
-
Came back the next night, fully dressed, fully clothed, energetic, sitting on the front row, healed by the power of God.
-
Now those are powerful things.
-
But they brought invalids because they were taught God will heal them tonight.
-
God will heal them tonight.
-
Now, see, where they missed it is they didn't put a lot of credence on progressive faith.
-
And that's why so many people during the days of the voice of healing lost their healing.
-
Because they went back to an unbelieving church that didn't teach them anything.
-
And so in our circles, we can't err on the other side and not believe for the immediate.
-
If somebody comes in here that doesn't know anything and they get healed immediately, then we got to keep them in church.
-
Got to disciple them, got to teach them how to keep their healing.
-
Oh, hallelujah.
-
Do you see that?
-
So just add that to it.
-
Just add that to it.
-
I believe, he said out loud, I believe God will speed up the healing process.
-
Ha ha, because it is September, right, Teresa?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
Amen.
-
I believe God.
-
Let me share a couple things with you.
-
There was a lady that uh they were actually uh associate ministers uh in our church for a number of years, uh, a couple decades, the Tony and Paula Mendes.
-
And uh they went on to do some other things uh in their their own ministry, which is wonderful.
-
Uh, but she had a problem with her hips, and it was so painful.
-
And she had been to the chiropractor, to the doctor, and the word that kept coming to her over and over again was this this thing is frozen.
-
It cannot be moved.
-
And uh the chiropractor couldn't move it, and of course, you know, the the only option the doctor had was some kind of surgery, but then there's chances.
-
You know, we could do the surgery and it could make it worse.
-
You know, or it could, you know, it might help, might not help.
-
Well, just the way the Lord deals with me from time to time.
-
She came to church on a Sunday night.
-
Of course, we we were, they always came, but Sunday night I'll never forget it.
-
And uh uh she came up for prayer for that, and the Lord had me have her to sit down in in a chair, and when she sat down in the chair, I held both of her feet in my hands, and one of them, I don't remember which one, uh, probably an inch.
-
I didn't have obviously a tape or a ruler, but it looked like probably an inch shorter.
-
And uh, and I just was led by the Spirit, and I commanded that deformity to go, commanded that leg to grow out.
-
It did.
-
You could hear it, you could hear it coming out.
-
And she stood up, I mean, went through all kinds of gymnastics, right?
-
I've not been able to do this, couldn't twist, couldn't move.
-
Went back to the doctor and the chiropractor, everything's back in place, everything where it needed to be, totally healed.
-
Totally healed by the power of God.
-
Amen.
-
Do you see that?
-
And and had been suffering with that for years.
-
Amen.
-
We're ministering in the state prison in Nailsworth, Kansas, uh, every year at our camp meeting.
-
And uh I I called for prayer and I said, if you're here, you have back problems, hip problems, leg problems, pain, you you need to come up.
-
And young man came up and he was noticeably limping.
-
I mean, it wasn't it wasn't like you could tell, you know, had a little hitch in his gide up.
-
He was noticeably limping, right?
-
I mean, noticeably if if he was one of those guys that could have worn a platform shoe on the other foot, you know, to even things out.
-
Well, he came up and uh the Lord had me do the same thing.
-
And I I laid hands on him, held his feet before God.
-
That I I called all people up.
-
I said, if you want to see God do this, come they all came up.
-
Came right out.
-
Praise God.
-
We're glorifying God.
-
He said, Oh, my back pain's gone.
-
I said, Well, praise God.
-
Well, he came back to the afternoon service.
-
He said, I want to testify.
-
And so I let him testify.
-
And he said, Here's what uh you may not understand.
-
He said, uh, that miracle that occurred today, he said, here's why it was such a miracle.
-
He said, He had, of course, he was in prison, so you can understand he had had some altercations with the authorities, and uh uh he had gotten shot.
-
He had gotten an altercation with the police and gotten shot.
-
And somehow the procedure that they went through caused his leg to be shorter.
-
They had taken, I I don't remember all the ins and outs, they had taken certain parts out and it had caused his leg to be short.
-
He wasn't born that way.
-
It had it had it was man-made shortness.
-
But God pulled it out.
-
Amen.
-
Totally well, totally healed.
-
Right?
-
The expectation, this man that we dealt with here, 38 years of suffering, he didn't even know who Jesus was.
-
But immediately he was made whole.
-
Immediately he was made whole.
-
In Acts chapter 3.
Acts 3 chapter mention
-
I'll tell you when I really begin to build my faith for this, is with our kids.
-
Because we just decided that, you know, if you've ever read Kathy Dorch's book uh about confessions, you know, for raising godly kids, she makes a statement in there when she's talking about Psalm 103 and she talks about the believer's benefit package, and she said, uh, there doesn't need to be missed days of school because of sickness.
-
Right?
-
You can believe God to keep your child well.
-
Well, long before we obviously ever encountered that confession, I began, I I told my wife the same thing.
-
I said, they don't they don't need to miss school, especially this one, because he's not working too hard at it anyway.
-
He needs all the school he can get, right?
-
Anyway, they don't need to miss school.
-
And so I got to where I would I would go and maybe they were sick, maybe they were they had a fever.
-
And I would I would lay hands on them and I would say to that fever, now you leave now under my hand.
-
Under my hand, you go now.
-
And they didn't always like it because they didn't always want to go to school, but it left every time.
-
Now, especially when they were my children, and I had more say over them.
-
And you know, when they got up around 15, 16, 17 years of age, that quit working.
-
Because they can believe on their own now.
-
Right?
-
Here's what I'm saying.
-
Jesus said to receive everything in the kingdom, you gotta become like a little child that just receives it.
-
I just take it.
-
When I would tell that six-year-old son, listen, I'm gonna pray for you, and under my hand, that fever's gonna leave.
-
Okay, Dad.
-
That's it, and it would go.
-
Amen.
-
I pray for Liliana now, and she just looks at me and goes, I receive in Jesus' name.
-
Hallelujah.
-
But here's the thing that's when that's when I begin to really expect in our lives the immediate.
-
Because I go back to him and I say, now, Father, every time I laid hands on our children, every time that fever left immediately.
-
So I expect it to leave here as well.
-
Amen.
-
Acts chapter 3, verse 4.
-
Now you know this, but notice this.
-
And Peter, fastening his eyes on him with John, said, Look on us.
-
He gave heed to them, expecting to receive something of them.
-
And Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but such as I have I give you.
-
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
-
And he took him by the right hand, lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength, and he leaping up, stood and walked, entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
-
Instantly his feet and ankles strengthened.
-
Immediately.
-
Well, this man, according to Acts 4.22, had been in this condition for over 40 years.
-
Because here in chapter 3, it lets us know he was lame from his mother's womb womb in verse 2, in verse 22 of the same of Acts chapter 4, it says it was a notable miracle because the man was over 40 years of age that this was done on.
Acts 4 chapter mention
-
So he was over 40 and had been that way since birth.
-
But yet, one encounter, one moment of time, and over 40 years of suffering's gone.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Acts chapter nine.
-
There's more in the word.
-
This is just a sampling.
-
Verse 32 says, It came to pass as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydia, and there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed, notice, for eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
-
So this is a progressive issue.
-
They called palsy creeping paralysis.
-
It's progressively getting worse to the point that he's in the bed.
-
And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you whole.
-
Arise, make your bed, and he arose immediately.
-
I don't know if if he was a member of the church, I don't know.
-
But here's what I know is that he had been there for eight years, and Aeneas got up instantly.
-
So it's it's it's looking at this and then exercising my faith along those lines.
-
Because where it generally starts is it speeds up the process.
-
If I'm believing for the immediate, and it speeds up the process by six months, hallelujah, then I'm better for it.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So I should believe for it to go instantly.
-
If I'm dealing with a progressive situation, I'm progressively getting better.
-
I want to keep my faith on that.
-
But add to it that you're gonna speed up the process.
-
So he had been in this condition for eight years.
-
See, length of time sick does not matter.
-
We've seen different times here: 12 years, eight years, 38 years, 40 years.
-
It doesn't matter.
-
God will speed up the healing process.
-
When when you look at, we we've talked about uh Hezekiah.
-
And you know, he was sick.
-
The Bible says he was sick unto death.
-
Well, we don't know how long that he'd been dealing with that.
-
The Bible, the Bible talks about he had a boil, you know, whether it's a carbuncle boil or whatever, we don't know.
-
But it's releasing poison into his body.
-
And and it's it's it's gotten to the point that the prophet comes and says, Thus saith the Lord, set your house in order, you're gonna die.
-
Wow.
-
He turned his face to the wall and repented.
-
We're not talking about repentance, but he turned his face to the wall and repented.
-
Amen.
-
And before Isaiah got out of the courtyard, God said, You go tell him, I'm gonna give him 15 more years.
-
And he was healed instantly, under the old covenant.
-
Under the old covenant.
-
And we see healing over and over and over again under the old covenant, instantaneously.
-
Why?
-
Because God, God can do it immediately as well as progressively.
-
And so if it's getting better, we rejoice and we keep our faith on that, and then we just add to it.
-
Now, Lord, speed up the healing process.
-
Speed up the healing process.
-
You know, I've known people scheduled for surgery and come to church and God heal them that night, and they don't need the surgery.
-
I just believe I just have to believe it's possible.
-
I just have to believe that.
-
Why?
-
Because things can be so bad one day and so good the next day.
-
Amen.
-
It's just gone.
-
And we've all heard those those testimonies and those those stories.
-
And the thing that I want you to see is with all of that, you know, a testimony is to build your faith.
-
It's not just to tell you about the power of God, it's to build your faith.
-
This is a testimony of what God did.
-
And and we've heard so many of those, and we've seen them over and over and over again.
-
People come and have a doctor's report.
-
This is what the doctor said, and they found this and they found the other, and have hands laid on them and go back to the doctor, and come back the next week and say, I went to the doctor and it's not there.
-
And those things can almost lose their effect because it's like we hear those stories so much.
-
You know, when I'm when I'm when I'm preaching to churches, my church and other churches, and you'll start telling a story, people get two chapters ahead of you.
-
Because they know you they know you're not gonna tell a story about somebody died.
-
When you're talking about healing.
-
You're gonna talk about healing.
-
So when you say this person came and they had the doctor's report, they found whatever, you name it, right?
-
And we prayed for them and they went back to the doctor, and everybody's already there.
-
They didn't find it.
-
You can see people whispering, they didn't find it.
-
Right?
-
Well, but here's the point.
-
What's the point of that testimony?
-
It was there.
-
And the next day it wasn't.
-
Why not me?
-
Why not my situation?
-
Is that right?
-
The the the the seven-year-old boy that they brought to church that was allergic to everything.
-
His mother said his allergies are so bad that they they they they gave him the allergy test, and he's allergic to everything.
-
I don't I don't know how many allergy medicines he was on.
-
She told me at one time, seven.
-
I didn't know you could be on seven different allergy medicines.
-
Seven different medications.
-
She came on Wednesday night and he was allergic to everything on Wednesday night.
-
She took him back to the doctor the next day, and he was allergic to nothing.
-
And I got a letter from him at 21 years of age, going into the army, and he had just had his medical evaluation and and listed on his medical document was allergies, none.
-
That was instant.
-
He was allergic to everything Wednesday and had no allergies Thursday.
-
Hallelujah! And I've seen that, and here's the thing that mother didn't know much.
-
She had not been saved very long.
-
The church she went to wasn't teaching her anything, she just believed what she was hearing and what the Word of God said.
-
And so if I if I if I begin to just stock the shelves with immediate, right?
-
I'm not just gonna feel better, it's gonna be gone.
-
I'm not just gonna get better, it's gonna be gone.
-
That's what I'm gonna believe God for.
-
Amen.
-
Father, we thank you today for all that we've seen in the Word of God.
-
Lord, about your will, your desire, Lord, to speed up the healing process.
-
And we thank you for every form of healing.
-
We thank you, Lord, for progressive healing.
-
We thank you for uh healing that is progressively moving those things out of people's bodies, out of their lives.
-
But Father, we just add to it this.
-
We are believing that you're gonna speed up the healing process.
-
And Lord, those things that could take a year, we thank you that they're gonna be done quicker.
-
Those things that could take months or days, we thank you that they're gonna be done quicker in the name of Jesus.
-
Because we've seen it in your word.
-
We've seen the immediate results in your word.
-
And because we've seen it in your word, we can believe for it.
-
And so we set our faith in agreement for that in the name of Jesus.
-
And even, yes, Lord, even those things that may seem to have been dragging on, or those things that may seem to be taking their time.
-
Lord, speed them up.
-
I thank you for speeding them up in the name of Jesus.
-
And we give you the praise and the glory for it in the name of Jesus.
-
And we thank you for the manifestation of your great healing power in the lives of your people in the name of Jesus.
-
And Father, we just speak to every liver issue that those may be having in the name of Jesus.
-
And Father, we speak health and healing in the name of Jesus.
-
Father, we speak health to that system.
-
We speak health to that liver, that pancreas, Father, in the name of Jesus.
-
I thank you, Father.
-
Thank you, Father.

Thank you, Father.
-
Father, whether it is it is too much or not enough, insulin, in the name of Jesus.
-
I thank you that it's corrected, that those levels are right, that they're perfect, that they're on cue in the name of Jesus.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I thank you for that.
-
I thank you that those glucose levels are perfect.
-
They're not too low and they're not too high in the name of Jesus.
-
They are perfect in Jesus' name.
-
I thank you, Father, that that heartbeat is perfect.
-
It's not too fast, it's not too slow, it's just right.
-
And I thank you for it in the name of Jesus.
-
And I thank you, Lord, for magnifying your word, magnifying your word in that situation and bringing about deliverance and healing in the name of Jesus.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
