  1. Let me begin by having you turn in your Bibles this morning to 1 Corinthians chapter 2.

    1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention

  2. ! I will not preach next week. So that means you get to this week.

  3. What I'm asking you to look at this morning is one that reflects probably one of the more consistent things I say from the pulpit.

  4. And that has to do with my dependence upon your prayer.

  5. Next week I will not ask you to pray for Pastor Shearer.

  6. I'm doing it this week.

  7. And as is appropriate, I want to frame that request in the light of Scripture,

  8. knowing that God's people will pay attention to that carefully and think of it soberly.

  9. 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 3,

    1 Corinthians 1:3

  10. I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling.

  11. No man should ever come to the pulpit to preach the Word of God without these things in his heart.

  12. And that is the reason why over the years you've heard me say over and over again that I am desperately dependent upon your prayers.

  13. Truthfully, I remember hearing Pastor Brock teach on the place of prayer in affecting the ear with which Tim Knoyer listened to preaching.

  14. I sat back there where Kevin Yankovich is sitting presently.

  15. The pews were colored differently.

  16. But Judith and I had our youngest son, Samuel, in the nursery then.

  17. And he was a high-kneed child.

  18. I said that because he's sitting back there and I thought I'd take a cheap shot and get away with it.

  19. That was really not the truth.

  20. Don't send me an email on that.

  21. Other things are okay, but that was just a joke.

  22. But I remember hearing Pastor Brock teach on the role of prayer.

  23. Listen to me.

  24. It changed the way Tim Knoyer listened to sermons.

  25. It made me realize that Tim Knoyer had a part to play in taking a frail instrument, imperfect at best,

  26. and pleading with the Spirit of God to help that individual bring the Word of God with clarity,

  27. with simplicity, and with passion.

  28. And like I said, I will not give an introduction such as this next week.

  29. Because you understand the logic of that, don't you?

  30. But look at verse 4.

  31. This is what I want you to remember.

  32. And my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom,

  33. but in demonstration of the Spirit and in power.

  34. That's always the desire of a man who preaches the Word of God.

  35. That what is seen is the evidence of the power of the Spirit of God

  36. working to touch the lives of people for the glory of Christ.

  37. Now, I said you're getting two today.

  38. That's number one.

  39. Click that off.

  40. Move on.

  41. 1 John chapter 3.

    1 John 3 chapter mention

  42. How many of you here would admit that sometimes you're a little full of yourself?

  43. Besides me.

  44. I mean, you know, I remember when I heard Paul David Tripp admit that he was the biggest problem he had.

  45. Now, I had been struggling with coming to grips with that, but he said it so well.

  46. It's like, I can buy that.

  47. Yes, I am a problem.

  48. And strangely enough, that problem doesn't really show up in my devotional life or my prayer life.

  49. It shows up in particular when I'm around other people.

  50. Because I'd like to think that they're the problem.

  51. And I would admit that relationships always bring sinners into close proximity with each other,

  52. but we don't tend to see it that way.

  53. And 1 John is all about helping professing believers understand the significance of the question of,

  54. am I really saved?

  55. We're looking this morning at 1 John chapter 3, verse 1, just as an intro,

    1 John 3:1

  56. and then more particularly at verse 16.

  57. But let me read that to you.

  58. It says there,

  59. See what kind of love the Father has given unto us,

  60. that we should be called the children of God.

  61. I hope you have never gotten over that reality.

  62. That the unbelievable blessing that you have of being God's child

  63. and having a personal relationship with the Lord of glory

  64. is something that at every moment puts a smile on your face when you stop and think about it.

  65. In fact, it is the remedy to much of our moodiness and surliness and unhappiness in life.

  66. Wouldn't you agree with that?

  67. Here's Paul saying, and when he says,

  68. Behold, I can't get my head around the fullness of what it's saying.

  69. It's like, wow!

  70. Behold what manner, what kind of love the Father has given unto us

  71. that we should be called the children of God.

  72. It's overwhelming.

  73. Paul then kind of plays out through, or not Paul, but John plays out through the remainder of the first part.

  74. He talks about the fact that this thought ends up having an effect upon the way we live.

  75. And if you are sitting here this morning and your heart is touched with the sweetness of the truth

  76. that you're the child of God, well, one of the takeaways as a result of that

  77. is that you end up with a greater sensitivity to the issue of personal sin.

  78. This morning, as I was spending time in prayer,

  79. I found myself lamenting, just grieving of heart with one of the recurring battles of my own heart.

  80. How many of you have those?

  81. A couple areas where, you know, just like,

  82. You know what?

  83. I really wish this didn't happen anymore,

  84. and I didn't have those kind of lousy, low-life, unacceptable, godless thoughts.

  85. How many of you are in that space with me?

  86. Thank you.

  87. Mike, there's one of us here, okay?

  88. And I remember thinking of the passage in Hebrews 1, verse 9,

    Hebrews 1:9

  89. where the author, unknown, recites a passage in the Psalms.

  90. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity.

  91. And I found myself this morning as I was in prayer and preparation for the Lord's table

  92. just saying, Lord, I so hate sin, and I long to grow in grace.

  93. And in the passage we see in 1 John is, hey, we are the children of God,

  94. and the truth of the matter is is that we're not what we will be,

  95. but, man, thinking about it has an effect upon our lives.

  96. And as the apostle unpacks the portion of passage,

  97. he deals with this issue of sin,

  98. and he brings it around to a very, very practical challenge in terms of relationship

  99. and really challenges us to kind of think through the issue of

  100. whether or not our relationships with one another are marked by the love of Christ.

  101. And I'm not going to take the time to deal with that piece of it.

  102. What I want to do is have you put your finger on verse 16

  103. because it is an absolutely central truth in the believer's life.

  104. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us.

  105. It's appropriate that a passage such as this be part of our time around the Lord's table.

  106. There's a connectedness.

  107. You remember that when Paul is correcting the church at Corinth

  108. regarding their time around the Lord's table,

  109. he reminds them that when we take these elements,

  110. he says, you do show forth the Lord's death.

  111. The bread and the cup are reminders of Jesus dying for us.

  112. And so here we are in a companion passage over in 1 John 3

  113. where the apostle, as he is reminding us of our relationship with Christ,

  114. and he's reminding us of the significance of that,

  115. he makes this kind of foundational statement.

  116. This is what love looks like.

  117. Jesus died for us.

  118. Jesus died for us.

  119. And since we are at the table and we are going to be taking these elements,

  120. I think it's appropriate for us to recognize what we're not doing today.

  121. For one thing, we recognize that the enemy of our souls is great at leading us astray,

  122. and even we who are well-framed and relatively mature believers,

  123. how many of you would admit that there are times when your mind just is not connected

  124. to the things it should be connected to?

  125. I mean, there are some of us here that perhaps spend an hour,

  126. an hour and a half in our devotional life.

  127. We get up early in the morning and do it,

  128. and I can tell you this, that even when you're engaged in that level of discipline,

  129. there are times that you can go through the motions and your heart's not in it.

  130. And so I would appeal to you that when we come to this table that we are careful

  131. that we don't just get caught up and led astray by the enemy of our souls.

  132. So let's recognize that for one thing, we're really not engaged in a saving ritual.

  133. I remember talking with an individual not too long ago who said to me,

  134. oh, I've missed communion for so long, it just doesn't feel right.

  135. And I've got to tell you, I can understand that.

  136. But on the other hand, I don't want any believer to ever end up having the idea

  137. that you kind of lose all kinds of points with God if you don't take communion necessarily.

  138. I mean, there are some people that are bed fast.

  139. There are some people that are in the military,

  140. and there are reasons, various reasons, they don't engage in the Lord's table.

  141. And so don't think to yourself that when you take communion,

  142. you get kind of extra points with the Father.

  143. Satan has actually deceived many into thinking that the bread and the cup

  144. are a means of salvation, and that actually taking the bread and the cup

  145. is one of the ways that you assure yourself of your eternal destiny.

  146. The false teaching surrounding that proposes that every time communion

  147. is actually offered, that the priest is making a fresh sacrifice of Christ for our sins.

  148. That is an unholy teaching.

  149. And it is clearly contradictory to the Scriptures.

  150. I want you to take just a moment.

  151. You're there in 1 John, and we're going to come back to it.

  152. But I want you to turn in your Bible over to Hebrews 7, verse 27,

    Hebrews 7:27

  153. and mark what it says,

  154. talking about Jesus in relationship to the priestly sacrifices

  155. that were made in the Old Testament.

  156. He says this,

  157. He had no need, like those high priests,

  158. to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins,

  159. and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all.

  160. And I would encourage you, underline that in your Bible,

  161. once for all.

  162. Once for all.

  163. We find a very similar statement over in Hebrews 10.

  164. And in verse 10, here's what it says,

  165. And by that will,

  166. Jesus referring, or the passage referring to Jesus coming to obey the will of the Father,

  167. it says,

  168. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ

  169. once for all.

  170. Now stop just for a moment and listen and look up.

  171. This is a little unusual statement,

  172. once for all, once for all.

  173. You don't find that kind of repetition

  174. without understanding that the Spirit of God wants to be clear

  175. that we're not misled.

  176. It's pretty hard to get around a once for all statement, isn't it?

  177. It's there to remind us.

  178. The sacrifice of Christ sufficient and once for all.

  179. I want you to understand that when we come to this table,

  180. we are not here, not only to not engage in a saving ritual,

  181. but we're not just going through the motions.

  182. And one of the characteristics of our fellowship in preparing for the Lord's table

  183. is that invariably, the Wednesday before we come to this table,

  184. there is a portion in the prayer bulletin reminding us of the fact

  185. that the Lord's table is coming,

  186. and there are things that we should prepare for in prayer.

  187. I'm all in favor of taking a quiet moment to quiet your heart

  188. before you take the elements,

  189. but how many of you admit that sometimes that can be pretty just functional?

  190. I mean, you know what I'm saying?

  191. Probably a more practical way to really get down to the nut of the matter

  192. would be to turn to your wife on Saturday evening and say,

  193. honey, are there any sin areas in my life that you think I need to repent of

  194. before I take communion tomorrow morning?

  195. That's a really comfortable thought, isn't it?

  196. Inviting your wife to help you realize where you are struggling.

  197. I mean, the last time your wife probably had a comment to say

  198. about your spiritual deficiencies, how did you receive it?

  199. Probably what you said is, who are you to talk to me?

  200. You low-life, struggling sinner that you are.

  201. You know, it's like, but here's my point, okay?

  202. Hey, hey, come on.

  203. We should realize that we've got to be careful

  204. that we're not going through the motions,

  205. and that means that we carefully do exactly what it says in 1 Corinthians 11,

  206. where it says, examine yourself,

  207. that you not be judged with the world.

  208. And so, if you are into multitasking, and I think you are,

  209. some of you are already thinking about what lunch is,

  210. so you can handle this one too,

  211. just go ahead and say to the Lord, help me to listen with one ear,

  212. and with my spirit, kind of my heart,

  213. kind of consider, are there attitudes I have

  214. that really aren't pleasing to you?

  215. Do I have some unconfessed sin that needs to be cared for

  216. before I come to the elements?

  217. And so, I want to remind you that what we're not doing today

  218. is we're not just going through the motions.

  219. What we are here to do this morning is think deeply

  220. on Christ's death for us,

  221. because I've got to tell you something, listen to me.

  222. What He has done for us means everything to me,

  223. and it means everything to you who know Christ.

  224. It is the foundation for the way we live and act and think.

  225. Isn't that right?

  226. Isn't it right?

  227. And it helps us to remind ourselves again and again and again

  228. of who Jesus is and what He's done for me,

  229. because it has a tendency of redirecting, correcting,

  230. and helping me get back in the space that I need to be.

  231. So here we are with this little verse,

  232. and the apostle says this.

  233. He says, listen,

  234. this is how we know love.

  235. He laid down His life for us.

  236. So let's look at that very simple statement

  237. and recognize that when it says

  238. He laid down His life for us,

  239. what it is telling us is that

  240. Jesus made a voluntary choice.

  241. Jesus' death on the cross was not kind of a quirk of fate.

  242. It was not a cruel display of the heartless attitudes

  243. of the Jewish leaders,

  244. though they were heartless and godless.

  245. What we understand is that

  246. what took place on the cross

  247. is something that the Lord Jesus

  248. consciously and deliberately chose to do.

  249. You are there in 1 John.

  250. I want you to look at a companion passage

  251. that amplifies this statement.

  252. Turn back to John's gospel,

  253. to John chapter 10, verse 17.

    John 10:17

  254. John chapter 10, verse 17.

    John 10:17

  255. For this reason the Father loves me,

  256. because I lay down my life

  257. that I may take it up again.

  258. I lay down my life.

  259. There are some things that you and I

  260. have been forced to do

  261. because they're necessary,

  262. that sometimes we do things

  263. because other people expect us to do them.

  264. But what Jesus is saying here

  265. is that His decision to die for us

  266. was something that He chose to do.

  267. It wasn't an accident.

  268. It wasn't something that just happened.

  269. The Son of God, our Savior,

  270. the one who has redeemed me

  271. and has blessed me with all spiritual blessings

  272. in the heavenlies,

  273. consciously and deliberately chose

  274. to lay aside His pre-incarnate glory

  275. and to come here and live on this earth

  276. a sinless life and to die for my sins.

  277. The wonder of His choice is really magnified

  278. when we stop and consider

  279. the glory of the one making the choice.

  280. And it should overwhelm us.

  281. It should overwhelm us.

  282. I have not watched any basketball yet.

  283. But I have friends that are out on Facebook

  284. and I do check to see where they are.

  285. And I have,

  286. some of you remember Tom Watkins,

  287. Dr. Tom Watkins.

  288. He is a Michigan State fan.

  289. And every one of his posts,

  290. he must be going to the games quite a bit

  291. because I hear him post this and post that

  292. and post the other thing.

  293. And I get the sense that he's pretty encouraged right now.

  294. I mean, Michigan State basketball

  295. is kind of really pretty neat.

  296. And I'm thinking,

  297. so that's good.

  298. That's good.

  299. He's a great guy.

  300. But I want my heart to be more affected

  301. by the sweetness of what Jesus has done for me

  302. than any sport activity ever.

  303. You got that?

  304. And so,

  305. when we think about Christ's voluntary death for us,

  306. it ought to overwhelm us.

  307. That's what the apostle is saying.

  308. This is what love looks like.

  309. Jesus laid down his life for us.

  310. And so,

  311. hammer that home

  312. in your life.

  313. Jesus died

  314. by his own choice.

  315. Scripture actually goes to quite a detail

  316. to help us get that fact

  317. in our minds.

  318. And so,

  319. we're going to take some time

  320. and work our way through the Gospels

  321. in relationship to that.

  322. Keep your finger

  323. there in 1 John.

  324. We will come back to that.

  325. But go to Matthew 27,

    Matthew 27:50

  326. verse 50,

  327. first of all.

  328. Matthew 27,

    Matthew 27:50

  329. verse 50.

  330. Jesus died

  331. voluntarily.

  332. And Jesus cried out again

  333. with a loud voice

  334. and yielded up his spirit.

  335. Now,

  336. what does that say?

  337. In most cases,

  338. death comes upon people

  339. just as a

  340. providential flow

  341. of the process

  342. of

  343. dying.

  344. dying.

  345. It's not like,

  346. and I have been

  347. in the hospital room

  348. and at the bedside

  349. of many individuals

  350. over the years of ministry,

  351. and I've watched

  352. a number of individuals die.

  353. It's not like anybody says,

  354. hey,

  355. you know what?

  356. I'm out of here

  357. in a minute and a half.

  358. It happens when God

  359. in his plan

  360. ordains it.

  361. But Jesus

  362. chose the moment

  363. of his death.

  364. And here's what it says there.

  365. In verse 50,

  366. he said,

  367. and he cried out

  368. with a loud voice

  369. and yielded up his spirit.

  370. He chose

  371. to die for us.

  372. We're in Matthew.

  373. I want you to turn

  374. to Luke

    Luke 23:46

  375. chapter 23

  376. verse 46.

  377. Luke chapter 23

    Luke 23:46

  378. verse 46.

  379. Then Jesus

  380. called out,

  381. calling out

  382. with a loud voice,

  383. said,

  384. Father,

  385. into your hands

  386. I commit my spirit.

  387. And having said this,

  388. he breathed his last.

  389. Into your hands

  390. I commit

  391. my spirit.

  392. This is

  393. an act

  394. Jesus did

  395. voluntarily.

  396. John chapter 19

    John 19:30

  397. verse 30.

  398. John chapter 19

    John 19:30

  399. verse 30.

  400. When Jesus

  401. had received

  402. the sour wine,

  403. he said,

  404. it is finished.

  405. And he bowed

  406. his head

  407. and gave

  408. up

  409. his spirit.

  410. So when you take

  411. the bread

  412. this morning,

  413. when you take

  414. the cup

  415. this morning,

  416. I want you

  417. to meditate

  418. upon the thought

  419. that Jesus

  420. chose

  421. of his own

  422. free will

  423. to die for you.

  424. he died

  425. for you.

  426. And the truth

  427. of the matter

  428. is,

  429. is that

  430. if we

  431. think

  432. carefully

  433. about our

  434. own

  435. wickedness

  436. and the

  437. just

  438. punishment

  439. at the hands

  440. of a holy

  441. God,

  442. the fact

  443. that Jesus

  444. died in

  445. my place

  446. is

  447. overwhelming.

  448. coming.

  449. I have

  450. to tell

  451. you

  452. that there

  453. is benefit

  454. in reminding

  455. myself over

  456. and over

  457. again of

  458. what Jesus

  459. has done

  460. for me.

  461. And the

  462. practical

  463. exercise this

  464. morning of

  465. taking a

  466. portion of

  467. bread and

  468. taking a

  469. cup that

  470. reminds me

  471. of both

  472. his death

  473. for me.

  474. And the

  475. new covenant

  476. is something

  477. that should

  478. reorient

  479. and reframe

  480. my natural

  481. tendency of

  482. being just

  483. a little bit

  484. self-focused.

  485. There's

  486. something else

  487. that I want

  488. you to

  489. understand as

  490. you look at

  491. this passage.

  492. Going back

  493. to 1 John

    1 John 3 chapter mention

  494. chapter 3,

  495. he laid

  496. down his

  497. life for

  498. us.

  499. And the

  500. fact that

  501. he died

  502. for us,

  503. I want

  504. you to

  505. recognize

  506. that Christ's

  507. work was

  508. sufficient.

  509. It wasn't

  510. wasted.

  511. His death

  512. was more

  513. than voluntary,

  514. and when I

  515. say more

  516. than voluntary,

  517. I do not

  518. mean in any

  519. way to take

  520. away from

  521. the fact

  522. that it

  523. was voluntary,

  524. but it

  525. was more

  526. than voluntary.

  527. It was

  528. necessary and

  529. sufficient for

  530. our sins.

  531. the action

  532. that is

  533. spoken of

  534. here in

  535. the text

  536. refers to

  537. something that

  538. is done

  539. and the

  540. matter is

  541. settled.

  542. It's

  543. finished.

  544. Jesus didn't

  545. die to give

  546. us a model

  547. of how to

  548. live a

  549. sacrificial life,

  550. though his

  551. life is a

  552. model of how

  553. to live

  554. sacrificially.

  555. His death

  556. was the

  557. only completely

  558. appropriate and

  559. necessary

  560. substitution

  561. for our

  562. death.

  563. I know

  564. that theologians

  565. can dispute

  566. about wording,

  567. and I think

  568. it's appropriate

  569. to do so.

  570. Some have

  571. a great deal

  572. of angst

  573. over saying

  574. Jesus died

  575. our death.

  576. They think

  577. that we should

  578. say Jesus

  579. died for us,

  580. and I struggle

  581. to make a

  582. distinction because

  583. I believe Jesus

  584. died in my

  585. place.

  586. And so,

  587. when we stop

  588. to think about

  589. it this

  590. morning,

  591. I want you

  592. to respond

  593. as you take

  594. the bread

  595. and cup.

  596. Think,

  597. you died

  598. for me,

  599. for my sins,

  600. in my

  601. place.

  602. It's

  603. interesting,

  604. in John

    John 1:29

  605. chapter 1,

  606. verse 29,

  607. when John

  608. the Baptist

  609. saw Jesus

  610. coming,

  611. he said,

  612. behold the

  613. Lamb of God

  614. that takes

  615. away the

  616. sin of the

  617. world.

  618. That's neat.

  619. That's a

  620. blessing.

  621. I want you

  622. to think back

  623. to that passage

  624. that I referred

  625. to earlier in

  626. Hebrews chapter 10,

    Hebrews 10:10

  627. verse 10,

  628. and then also

  629. in 14,

  630. and just kind

  631. of fix this

  632. in your mind

  633. that Christ

  634. Jesus died

  635. for our sins

  636. and it is

  637. completed.

  638. It's done.

  639. It's finished.

  640. How many of you

  641. like to occasionally

  642. get kind of wrapped

  643. up in studies

  644. just to find out

  645. if it's really so?

  646. I was studying

  647. this morning

  648. the Greek word

  649. tetelestai

  650. and I have

  651. to confess

  652. to you

  653. that I

  654. can think

  655. of

  656. who was

  657. Evangelism

  658. Explosion's

  659. pastor?

  660. Can anybody

  661. help me

  662. with that?

  663. James Kennedy.

  664. I remember

  665. hearing James

  666. Kennedy say

  667. that the word

  668. tetelestai

  669. means paid

  670. in full.

  671. I can't say

  672. that I found

  673. that actually

  674. in further

  675. research today

  676. or last week.

  677. And one of the

  678. advantages is that

  679. you guys can sit

  680. here and Google

  681. right now

  682. and find out

  683. if I'm right.

  684. Don't do that!

  685. But here's my

  686. point.

  687. Hey, we ought

  688. to pay attention

  689. to being accurate

  690. and careful.

  691. What it does

  692. mean is that

  693. the matter

  694. is settled.

  695. It's done.

  696. So this morning

  697. as you think

  698. about what

  699. Christ has done

  700. I want you

  701. to understand

  702. when he said

  703. it is finished

  704. he meant

  705. that this

  706. work of

  707. redemption

  708. this work

  709. of giving

  710. you salvation

  711. this work

  712. of assuring

  713. your eternal

  714. destiny

  715. and where

  716. you will

  717. spend all

  718. of eternity

  719. the matter

  720. is finished

  721. it's done

  722. it's settled

  723. there's nothing

  724. else to add

  725. to that.

  726. I think

  727. of the words

  728. of the song

  729. that says

  730. this

  731. I need

  732. no other

  733. argument

  734. I need

  735. no other

  736. plea

  737. it is enough

  738. that

  739. Jesus

  740. died

  741. and that

  742. he died

  743. for me.

  744. so this

  745. morning

  746. as I

  747. ask the

  748. men to

  749. come

  750. and we

  751. will

  752. gather

  753. around

  754. the

  755. table

  756. now

  757. I

  758. want

  759. you

  760. to

  761. think

  762. to

  763. yourself

  764. this

  765. is

  766. love

  767. Jesus

  768. laid

  769. down

  770. his

  771. life

  772. for me

  773. I

  774. want

  775. you

  776. to pray

  777. with

  778. me

  779. before

  780. we

  781. take

  782. these

  783. elements

  784. father

  785. I can

  786. only

  787. refer

  788. to my

  789. own

  790. heart

  791. and I

  792. know

  793. how

  794. easy

  795. it is

  796. for me

  797. as I

  798. come

  799. to this

  800. table

  801. to be

  802. careless

  803. in my

  804. own

  805. examination

  806. that is

  807. unfitting

  808. given the

  809. seriousness

  810. of the

  811. warning

  812. that we

  813. find in

  814. 1st

  815. Corinthians

  816. regarding

  817. taking

  818. this

  819. time of

  820. remembrance

  821. in an

  822. unworthy

  823. fashion

  824. I

  825. struggle

  826. with

  827. sin

  828. father

  829. and I

  830. am very

  831. thankful

  832. for the

  833. time of

  834. coming

  835. this morning

  836. before you

  837. and asking

  838. for the

  839. spirit's

  840. help

  841. that I

  842. deal

  843. with

  844. humility

  845. and

  846. spirit

  847. enabled

  848. objectivity

  849. with sin

  850. and Tim

  851. Kenoyer's

  852. life

  853. I'm thankful

  854. that Jesus

  855. died for me

  856. that I

  857. do not

  858. have to

  859. stay a

  860. slave to

  861. sin

  862. I'm thankful

  863. that because

  864. of what

  865. Jesus has

  866. done for

  867. me

  868. that my

  869. relationships

  870. and attitudes

  871. towards

  872. others

  873. are liberated

  874. from being

  875. so entirely

  876. consumed

  877. with myself

  878. and enabled

  879. by your

  880. spirit to

  881. be focused

  882. upon the

  883. glory of

  884. Christ

  885. and the

  886. needs

  887. of those

  888. you bring

  889. to me

  890. and father

  891. I would

  892. pray that

  893. this morning

  894. with a

  895. hatred for

  896. sin and a

  897. love for

  898. the Lord

  899. Jesus that

  900. I would

  901. long to

  902. grow to

  903. be more

  904. like

  905. him

  906. and I

  907. pray this

  908. for his

  909. glory

  910. amen

  911. but

  912. I

  913. do

  914. I

  915. do

  916. I

  917. do

  918. do

  919. I

  920. do

  921. I

  922. do

  923. I

  924. do

  925. I

  926. do

  927. Thank you.

  928. Thank you.

  929. Thank you.

  930. Thank you.

  931. Thank you.

  932. Thank you.

  933. Thank you.

  934. Thank you.

  935. Thank you.

  936. Thank you.

  937. Thank you.

  938. Thank you.

  939. Thank you.

  940. Thank you.

  941. Thank you.

  942. Thank you.

  943. Thank you.

  944. Thank you.
