  1. Thank you for listening to this message from

  2. Lifehouse Church. Amen, it's true. Well, just

  3. a few weeks back, I came to the realization that

  4. we begin to teach our children very, very young

  5. how to drive a car. Oddly enough, right? And

  6. I came to this deep revelation because one day

  7. I had my granddaughter, Kensley, in the car,

  8. and we were driving somewhere, and we stopped

  9. at a traffic, an intersection that had a traffic

  10. light. And as we were sitting there, the traffic

  11. light turned green, and the car in front of me

  12. didn't move. And my granddaughter from the back

  13. seat said, doesn't he know that he's supposed

  14. to go on a green? And I'm all like, yes, he should

  15. know that, Kensley. And she's a kindergartner.

  16. And I'm like, she's starting to already understand

  17. the rules of the road. Just a few years in, right?

  18. And last I checked, I haven't been in school

  19. in a very long time, but I don't think they have

  20. a driver's ed pre -K, right? I don't think that's

  21. there. But even my granddaughter, who's in kindergarten,

  22. knows that green means go, red means what? And

  23. yellow means? Yeah, I was waiting for that, right?

  24. Slow your roll is what the right answer is. I

  25. heard floor it, okay? Green, for clarification.

  26. Green means go. Red means stop. Yellow does not

  27. mean floor it, all right? Yellow means slow your

  28. roll. right? It's the traffic light. It helps

  29. us to discern what's happening at the intersection

  30. that I'm approaching. It's a traffic light that

  31. helps me understand the conditions that I'm about

  32. to drive up to, right? It's the traffic light

  33. that helps me recognize, understand, detect,

  34. perceive what is happening at the intersection

  35. I'm approaching, how to respond to the person

  36. in the other car. Green means go, red means stop,

  37. and yellow means slow your roll. It's easy. It's

  38. easy to pick out. It's easy to distinguish. It's

  39. easy to discern. It's so clear that even a kindergartner

  40. understands that rule of the road. But when we

  41. come to human intersections, right? When we approach

  42. a human intersection, it's not near as easy.

  43. It's not near as clear to navigate when I'm getting

  44. up to an intersection with an individual in life.

  45. Human intersections can be difficult to discern.

  46. They're tough sometimes to figure out who's in

  47. front of you. Some of you get stressed at human

  48. intersection. Some of you come to church, it

  49. nerves you out because there's all these people

  50. you got to intersect with, right? Freaks you

  51. out just a little bit. Who's in front of me?

  52. How do I proceed with this person? What does

  53. this look like? Are they heading in the same

  54. direction in life that I am? Or are they going

  55. completely different entire path, right? Are

  56. they going parallel with me or perpendicular

  57. to me? Where are they going physically, emotionally,

  58. spiritually, and mentally, and in particular,

  59. spiritually? Because that's what we're here to

  60. talk about this morning. How do I know when to

  61. stop? How do I know to go? And how do I know

  62. when to slow my roll? How do I know? Because

  63. it's not near as clear as it is with a traffic

  64. light. And if you don't develop some spiritual

  65. discernment in this, you might be in for a crash,

  66. a clash. or definitely some traffic jams at a

  67. minimum. If you got your Bibles this morning,

  68. I want you to open to Matthew chapter seven.

  69. We're gonna go to verse six. I'm gonna pray as

  70. you turn. Father, thank you for this day. God,

  71. I pray that you would move in our ears and our

  72. hearts, God, that they would be ready to receive

  73. the word of God. We ask, Lord, that you would

  74. guide us and direct us this morning as we look

  75. into your word and we give you praise, we give

  76. you glory, and we give you honor, Lord, for what

  77. your word speaks, that it is truth. Lord, in

  78. Jesus' name we pray this, and amen and amen.

  79. Well, in this portion of Scripture, in Matthew

  80. 7, going to verse 6, Jesus is preaching to a

  81. crowd, a large crowd, on the hillside of Jerusalem,

  82. outside of Jerusalem. And at first glance, this

  83. does not seem like something that would help

  84. you in the stop, go, or slow your roll in human

  85. relationships. At first glance, this is kind

  86. of like almost one of those scriptures like,

  87. what is Jesus really saying here? Anybody ever

  88. read the Bible? They're like, what in the world

  89. does that mean, right? What is this all about?

  90. Well, Matthew 7, 6 says this, and this is Jesus

  91. speaking. He said, do not give what is holy to

  92. the dogs. Jesus is speaking a little bit about

  93. a human intersection at the end of a road, right?

  94. And actually this little portion of scripture

  95. comes at the end of some previous scripture that

  96. was also about human intersection. If you read

  97. Matthew 1 through 5, Jesus is saying to the same

  98. crowd, He's telling them, be very careful when

  99. you judge somebody. Be careful when you judge

  100. others. And he's talking about brothers and sisters

  101. in the Lord. In particular, be careful when you

  102. judge a brother or sister who is in sin, right?

  103. They got something going on in their lives. And

  104. be very careful how you judge them. Be very careful

  105. how you approach them. And Jesus kind of tells

  106. a little story. He says, when you judge somebody

  107. that's a brother or sister in the Lord that's

  108. got sin in their lives, be very careful that

  109. you don't have some sin in your own life. That's

  110. what he says in 1 through 5. He says, make sure

  111. you don't try to get the speck out of somebody

  112. else's eye, the speck of sin, and you got a whole

  113. log of sin in your own eye, right? Don't be a

  114. hypocrite. Make sure you got your stuff straightened

  115. up and going on before you go approach somebody

  116. else. It's kind of rules of the road in Bible,

  117. right? It's rules of intersection in the Bible.

  118. But then Jesus hits a whole other intersection

  119. scenario. What do you do if you roll up into

  120. the intersection and it's not a believer that

  121. you're intersecting with? It's not a follower

  122. of Jesus. It's not another rock life person who

  123. is following Jesus Christ with everything that's

  124. in him. It's someone actually who needs to hear

  125. about Jesus. By the way, every intersection that

  126. we hit, every human intersection that we make,

  127. when we bump into somebody that doesn't know

  128. Jesus, you're there for a reason. You're there

  129. to let them know about Jesus. As believers and

  130. followers of Jesus, we should want to give them

  131. the greatest message that's ever been told and

  132. the greatest thing that's ever happened to us,

  133. you know, that coming to Christ and being salvation.

  134. So every time I bump into an unbeliever, it's

  135. an opportunity for me to speak about light and

  136. life, which is Jesus. Talked about that last

  137. week, about being light, right? Wake up in the

  138. morning, Lord, help me be light at the intersection.

  139. Help me, Lord, to light it up for somebody else.

  140. That's what we're supposed to do. come to the

  141. intersection in the road of life and you bump

  142. into somebody that's not a believer, you have

  143. to have a little bit of discernment when you

  144. get there. Because some of the people that you're

  145. going to bump into, and this is what Jesus was

  146. talking about, when you come to the intersection

  147. of life, right, human relationship, sometimes

  148. you're going to bump into somebody that has road

  149. rage. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Right,

  150. we see it in the news. Sometimes you're going

  151. to find somebody that is so anti -Jesus, they're

  152. going to have road rage. If you read in Scripture,

  153. you'll read about the Pharisees, and the Pharisees

  154. were like that with Jesus. Man, they had road

  155. rage with Jesus. They would get in the same place,

  156. and they would just berate Jesus. They would

  157. just rip it to pieces. And once in a while, when

  158. you're traveling down the road of life, you hit

  159. an intersection, and you start to talk about

  160. Jesus. You're going to bump into somebody that

  161. has road rage, somebody that is on a completely

  162. different path spiritually, somebody not that

  163. just doesn't disagree, but somebody that is angry

  164. with you. Some of you have relatives like this.

  165. Some of you know what I'm talking about, right?

  166. Some of you have got relatives that don't follow

  167. Jesus, and if you start a conversation, Thanksgiving's

  168. coming up, it's getting close, you're going to

  169. go sit down and eat turkey with them, right?

  170. And you bring up Jesus, and man, it's like bringing

  171. up politics. Right? It explodes. You know, there's

  172. this rage. Don't raise your hand. I was going

  173. to say that. Anyone got a relative like that,

  174. don't raise your hand. You got somebody, right?

  175. They're like a ravenous dog if you bring up the

  176. name of Jesus. Jesus said sometimes, sometimes.

  177. Say sometimes. Every once in a while, you're

  178. going to come up to the intersection in life,

  179. and you're going to hit somebody in road rage.

  180. about Jesus. He said, do not give what is holy

  181. to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine,

  182. lest they trample them under feet and turn and

  183. tear you in pieces. What was Jesus saying here?

  184. What did he mean with this dog and swine analogy,

  185. right? What does that got to do with human interaction?

  186. Here's what he's talking about. Discern who you

  187. just met at the intersection. When you come to

  188. a human intersection in life, discern who you

  189. just met. Discern who is in front of you and

  190. who's moving forward. Because every once in a

  191. while, and I think this is rare, I'm going to

  192. tell you right up front, I think this is rare.

  193. You're going to approach somebody at an intersection

  194. and they're going to be a raging dog. When you

  195. start talking about Jesus, they're going to just

  196. get angry because you love Jesus. They're going

  197. to bite. They're going to attack. They're going

  198. to try to rip you in pieces. They'll work a little

  199. bit like a swine who gets pearls cast before

  200. him, and they just stomp it into the mud. Jesus

  201. said, don't give what's holy to the dogs. Now,

  202. for me to explain this a little bit and for you

  203. to get a good picture of this, because we live

  204. in Western culture, right? I need to explain

  205. how dogs and swine and pigs were viewed in the

  206. Near East back in that time and how it was looked

  207. at in the Mosaic law a little bit. They didn't

  208. view them like we do in Western culture, right?

  209. Dogs were not domesticated animals in that particular

  210. culture, in Eastern culture. They were not part

  211. of the family like they are in our day, right?

  212. In our day. How many got a dog? Raise your hand.

  213. Dog owners proud. Yep, they're like everywhere,

  214. right? That wasn't what it was like in Jesus'

  215. days. Matter of fact, listen, I have a dog. I

  216. want to live the life of my dog. My dog's got

  217. it made. My dog's biggest decision in life is

  218. to get up and decide when she wants to eat. All

  219. right? She's always got food available. Her biggest

  220. decision is, when do I go to the dish? All right?

  221. Her other big decision is, when do I want to

  222. go to the backyard? And she doesn't even have

  223. to open the door. She just barks and waits for

  224. me to do it. Right? You know, and she wants food.

  225. She just goes to the dish and barks, and we take

  226. care of it. I want to be my dog. She's got it

  227. made. She doesn't have a job. She doesn't contribute

  228. anything to the budget. It's shocking, right?

  229. She doesn't do any of that. That's not what they're

  230. talking about here. That's not how dogs were

  231. viewed in the Middle East. They were scavengers.

  232. They roved, man. They were nasty, roving scavengers.

  233. They were aggressive. And if you're going to

  234. think about swine or pigs, this was not a domesticated

  235. pot -bellied pig that runs around the kitchen

  236. and looks as cute as a dog. That's not what it's

  237. talking about here. Think of them a little more

  238. like a ravaging wild boar, right? Pigs were considered,

  239. in the Mosaic law, they were considered unclean.

  240. They didn't touch them. The Jewish people didn't

  241. touch them. They didn't eat them. Jesus is saying

  242. that sometimes in human interaction and sharing

  243. the gospel with others, you're going to interact

  244. and you're going to run into a ravenous dog.

  245. It's going to happen. And if you're listening

  246. closely to yourself or what's taking place at

  247. the intersection and to the Holy Spirit, understand

  248. who's in front of you. Discern what's taking

  249. place. Be careful that they don't rip you apart.

  250. This is a place in a human intersection where

  251. you stop. Not very often, but I'll tell you that

  252. spiritually. But here's a place sometimes you

  253. have to know to stop. Jesus just said, stop.

  254. These are not people who politely disagree with

  255. you. This isn't even somebody who passionately

  256. disagrees with you. That's okay if they passionately

  257. disagree with you. This is somebody that wants

  258. to take you apart because of Jesus, right? Hates

  259. you and hates anything you have to do with because

  260. they hate Jesus. They're scoffers, despisers,

  261. despisers of Jesus. verbally, emotionally, and

  262. sometimes even abusive physically. And while

  263. I know this is not the case much in our society

  264. and in the United States, it's not the same across

  265. the globe. There's very much this type of persecution

  266. that takes place. And Jesus said, when you run

  267. into this, be careful. Be careful, all right?

  268. Be careful, know when to stop. Know when to throw

  269. the pearls. And you might say, well, what are

  270. pearls, right? Why would that be in this scripture?

  271. Such an odd scripture, right? Such an odd verse.

  272. Well, pearls were highly sought after, and they

  273. were considered of great value in Eastern culture.

  274. And Jesus mentioned pearls in another place in

  275. scripture. We always back scripture with scripture.

  276. In Matthew 13, 45, he said, again, the kingdom

  277. of heaven is like the merchant seeking beautiful

  278. pearls, who when he had found one pearl of great

  279. price, went and sold all that he had and bought

  280. it. Jesus was talking about the gospel. He was

  281. talking about the kingdom of God, right? That's

  282. the pearl that you give somebody. That's the

  283. pearl when you come to the intersection of life

  284. and somebody doesn't know God, you know, like

  285. somebody did for you and did for me. You come

  286. and you hand them the pearl. Give them the pearl.

  287. But just be careful who's got that. Discern who's

  288. in front of you with this, right? Is this just

  289. a person that's resisting or is this wrathful

  290. rejection that's going on? And I know some of

  291. you are like, right, this is like hard. This

  292. is difficult stuff in God's word. But listen

  293. to what Jesus says to his disciples in Matthew

    Matthew 10:11

  294. 10, verse 11. It says, now whatever city or town

  295. you enter, inquire in it who is worthy and stay

  296. there till you go out. And when you go into the

  297. household, greet it. If the household is worthy,

  298. he's telling his disciples this, let your peace

  299. come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your

  300. peace return to you. And whoever will not receive

  301. you nor hear your words when you depart out of

  302. that house or city, shake off the dust from your

  303. feet. Surely I say to you, it will be more tolerable

  304. for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day

  305. of judgment than for that city. Sometimes when

  306. you offer what's holy and it's stomped in the

  307. mud, sometimes you're going to have to stop,

  308. shake the dust off your feet and go a different

  309. direction. Can I give you a little illustration

  310. of what I'm talking about? If you leave the church

  311. this morning and you decide to go to lunch, right?

  312. And you go down to one of the many intersections

  313. in Carlisle and you pull up to an intersection

  314. and there's somebody that's on the opposing side.

  315. You meet the intersection at the same time and

  316. you wave them on. And when they look back at

  317. you, they give you the single finger wave. Does

  318. everybody know what that is? I don't want to

  319. explain that. All right, they give you the single

  320. finger wave. And at the same time, they're pounding

  321. on their dashboard, and they're screaming at

  322. you obscenities. Now, you can't hear them, but

  323. you can pretty well read lips, what's taking

  324. place, right? They're beating on the dashboard.

  325. And all of a sudden, they grab with the other

  326. hand, they grab a gun and lay it up onto the

  327. dashboard, screaming at you. What are you going

  328. to do? You going to get out and invite them to

  329. lunch? No. Make a right -hand turn. Go somewhere

  330. else. Leave. That's kind of what the Bible's

  331. saying here. This is what Jesus is saying. And

  332. you might say, well, you know, that's kind of

  333. duh, Pastor, right? But I know family members

  334. who don't do this. They'll anger somebody so

  335. much. When somebody, you come to the intersection

  336. and somebody is that outraged about talking about

  337. Jesus, there comes a point where you need to

  338. stop and turn them over to the Holy Spirit. Let

  339. the Holy Spirit, let Jesus work the rage out

  340. of them. Let somebody else bump into them up

  341. the line when they're not so rageful, they're

  342. not so angry, they're not in that place, and

  343. let them share the gospel with them. Or maybe

  344. it'll be you up the line. Know when to stop,

  345. right? But also know when to go or when to slow

  346. your roll. Let me reread a scripture, Matthew

  347. 10, 11. I know you're all tense now, like relax,

  348. it's all good. Now, whatever city or town you

  349. enter, inquire who is worthy and stay there till

  350. you go out. This is Jesus speaking again, rereading

  351. one. And when you go into the house, greet it.

  352. If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon

  353. it. But if it's not worthy, let your peace return

  354. to you. How do you know to go and to move forward

  355. in a human interaction? How do I decide, like,

  356. when somebody I don't know and they don't know

  357. Jesus, how do I know whether to slow my roll

  358. or to keep going? Well, here's one of the things

  359. you can do. When you approach a human intersection,

  360. slow your roll and offer somebody some peace.

  361. Offer them the peace of God. You know, again,

  362. It's a driving thing. When you pull up to that

  363. intersection, when you go to driving school or

  364. you go into driver's ed, they'll tell you when

  365. you go to any intersection, when you're moving

  366. up, right, you're driving to any intersection,

  367. you're supposed to slow your roll. Even if the

  368. light's green, you're supposed to slow down,

  369. be cautious, look around at what's taking place

  370. around you. You slow down. Slow down enough when

  371. you get to a human intersection and offer the

  372. peace of God to somebody. Just a little piece

  373. of Jesus to somebody when you come by. Why do

  374. you do that? Because you want to see how they're

  375. going to respond. I learned this from Dr. Brian

  376. Cutshaw. He's a pastor, preacher, leader of leaders.

  377. I respect him a great deal. And he taught me

  378. this in God's Word. And he says, when you come

  379. up to the intersection of somebody that doesn't

  380. know Christ, Offer them the peace of God and

  381. see if they return it to you or if they grab

  382. a hold of it. What does that look like? What

  383. does that mean when I slow my roll and I get

  384. to the intersection and I offer somebody some

  385. peace? And are they going to take it and receive

  386. it or are they going to hand it back to you?

  387. What does that mean? That means, you know, I

  388. want to give them just a little bit of Christ,

  389. a little bit of something with Jesus. See, understand

  390. something. Every person that's far from God,

  391. and this was me, every person that was far from

  392. God has the same thing going on in their life.

  393. They got a hole in their heart. They got a hole

  394. in their soul. They got this place that's empty

  395. inside of them, and whether they realize it or

  396. not, they're looking to fill that hole. People

  397. try to fill that hole with all kinds of things.

  398. Some people try to fill it with material things

  399. like the pursuit of wealth and riches. Some people

  400. try notoriety, fame. If enough people know my

  401. name, I'm going to be full in that hole. Some

  402. people try cheap substitutes. They try experiences.

  403. They try substances. Sometimes it's human relationships

  404. they'll try to fill that with, intimacy, sex,

  405. any of those things, self -indulgence. It's pleasure

  406. sometimes to try to fill that hole up that only

  407. the God of the universe and the creator of the

  408. universe can fill. Each and every one of us,

  409. we were meant to be in relationship with our

  410. creator. And if we're not, there's this hole

  411. inside of us. There's this place, and we try

  412. to grab a hold of it. We look for a happy, right?

  413. We try to get all those selfie moments going

  414. on. One thing fixes that hole, and it is Jesus

  415. Christ. One thing fixes that hole, and it is

  416. God the creator. So know when you come to an

  417. intersection with somebody who doesn't know Jesus

  418. and you offer just a little bit of peace, if

  419. they're looking to fill that hole, that peace

  420. they will grab a hold of. They'll grab a hold

  421. of it. If they're not and they're still kind

  422. of in that place of rejection, they'll just hand

  423. it back to you. And you say, well, what does

  424. that look like? Let me give you some practical

  425. things of what that looks like. When you slow

  426. your roll and you come to an intersection, right,

  427. of human relationship, How can I, I could drive

  428. up to Dixie and just say, how can I pray for

  429. you today? She's going to say one or two things,

  430. right? She's going to say, no, thank you. Or,

  431. hey, I got this need. I got this need going on.

  432. And you're going to know if they're a person

  433. of peace. You can even make a statement. You

  434. can make a statement. You can walk up, come up

  435. to an intersection for somebody you don't even

  436. know and just say, man, God is so good. You just

  437. say that to yourself. You just say it to yourself.

  438. And just watch close how they react, right? See

  439. if they're open to something spiritual. See if

  440. they're open. If they're a person of peace, they'll

  441. grab ahold of it. If not, they'll just kind of

  442. politely give it back to you and just send you

  443. on your way. You can even say, what do you think

  444. about? You could have came in today and say,

  445. what do you think about all that sunshine that's

  446. out there? And they'd be like, oh man, I love

  447. sunshine. You're like, I know. God, isn't it

  448. awesome God gives us sunshine for the day? That's

  449. an amazing thing. And you'll start to find out

  450. if you have a person of peace in front of you.

  451. They'll grab a hold of it. Slow your roll. See

  452. how they react. 1 Corinthians 3 .5 says this,

  453. who then is Paul? I understand when you come

  454. to the intersection, it's not about me. It's

  455. about giving them Jesus. Who then is Paul and

  456. who is Paulus? But ministers to whom you believe

  457. as the Lord gave to each one. I planted, Paulus

  458. watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither

  459. he who plants is anything or he who waters, but

  460. he. God who gives the increase. Now he who plants

  461. and he who waters are one and each one will receive

  462. his own reward according to his own labor. So

  463. when you head into an intersection with somebody

  464. that doesn't know Jesus, slow your roll. Throw

  465. a little bit of seed. Throw a little splash of

  466. water. Give them a little Jesus. Give them a

  467. little bit of the peace of God and see if they

  468. grab a hold of it. See if they take it in. If

  469. they just simply hand it back to you. Worship

  470. team, if you'd come. How do I get a green light

  471. at the intersection? What's the green light look

  472. like? How do I go all in in giving somebody the

  473. gospel? How do I know when to proceed? We always

  474. wonder this, right? Spiritual intersections with

  475. people and maybe somebody that's far from God

  476. in particular. How do I know just to, man, give

  477. it all to them? From beginning, right, Genesis

  478. to Revelation, just give them Jesus and the whole

  479. story and the plan of God and the God's redemptive

  480. plan to bring us back into relationship with

  481. him and to one day be in his kingdom. How do

  482. I know when to do that? How do I know, like,

  483. right? When I get to that spot, like, just to

  484. go, just to go. Well, if you live here in Carlisle,

  485. and I do, one of the things that happens on these

  486. side roads, there are about 103 million four

  487. -way stops in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Amen? Anybody

  488. know what I'm talking about? You wear your brakes

  489. out going through Carlisle. And there's these

  490. four -way stop signs and roads, right? It's just

  491. like a cross. Normally, the rule is, right, when

  492. you pull up at an intersection like that, there's

  493. no traffic light. When you get to the stop sign,

  494. whoever's there first gets to go first. That's

  495. kind of the written or unwritten rule, that when

  496. you pull up at the intersection, you kind of

  497. go in order, whoever came. But every once in

  498. a while, you converge and everybody gets to the

  499. stop sign at the same time, right? How many know

  500. that's a standoff right there? You're like, you're

  501. scoping, like, who's going to go, you know? And

  502. you're kind of revving, like, it's going to be

  503. me, it's going to be me. What do you do? You

  504. wait till somebody waves you on. Inevitably,

  505. somebody at the intersection goes, right? Or

  506. they'll do the wave, and they'll wave you on.

  507. And that first person goes, and then boom, boom,

  508. starts to go. When you come to the intersection

  509. with somebody that doesn't know Jesus, and you

  510. slow your roll, and you drop a little bit of

  511. water, you drop a little bit of seed, and you

  512. realize this is a person of peace, and they grab

  513. a hold of it. Watch and discern. Ask the Holy

  514. Spirit. Two things you can do. They'll either

  515. wave you on. They'll lean in for more, right?

  516. They'll lean in, and they'll want more. And if

  517. they do, tell them about Jesus. Go right to Jesus.

  518. Forget the small talk. Just go, right? Or if

  519. they lean in, the Holy Spirit tells you, go,

  520. go. Tell them. Tell them. Tell them the gospel.

  521. Tell them the greatest story ever told. So many

  522. times in rock life, right? We don't know when

  523. to stop. We don't know when to go. We don't know

  524. when to slow or roll. So we just don't do anything.

  525. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Come on.

  526. I'm being honest. I bump into an unbeliever.

  527. I can't tell you how many times I've blown it

  528. and I knew it. Walk up to somebody who doesn't

  529. know Jesus, you know, and I'll do this stupid

  530. small talk thing about the weather. and we get

  531. talking a little bit, and I walk away, and I'm

  532. like, oh, it was a golden opportunity to talk

  533. to somebody, and I let it go. I let it go. I

  534. remember hearing, I can't remember his name,

  535. but I remember hearing an atheist, and if you'd

  536. stand this morning, speaking, and he was talking

  537. about not believing in God, and he was talking

  538. about Christians, and he said, you know, I know

  539. a lot of Christians, and it's funny, none of

  540. them, some of them never mentioned Jesus to me.

  541. And he said, if they really do believe what they

  542. believe, how much must they hate me not to tell

  543. me that they believe that Jesus is the greatest

  544. story ever told? Because they never tell me anything.

  545. And I try to remember that. Like, how much do

  546. I have to hate somebody not to tell them something

  547. that will save their life? It's a little bit

  548. like driving by somebody in a swimming pool that's

  549. drowning, and I got a life -saving device right

  550. in my hand. And I'm like, ah, not today. And

  551. I just go by, right? I know I'm not here to make

  552. you feel goody. I'm with you in this. It's important.

  553. Jesus was telling us, when you get to the intersection,

  554. when you get to the intersection, these were

  555. invitations, by the way. These are salvations.

  556. These are intersections. We got to where people

  557. invited somebody. Know when to stop, when to

  558. go. Thank you for tuning in to this message from
