Well, praise the Lord, everybody.

This is Jody Kagel with Jody Kagel Ministries.

I want to say thank you for tuning in today.

What a blessing it is to be able to bring you the Word of God.

And we want to say thank you to the Lord for all the great things that He's doing in our lives and our services.

And thank uh so thankful for the Holy Spirit moving and healing and delivering this past Sunday.

Uh, we had so many people healed in Kentucky, and uh we even had a young lady drive two hours from Evansville, Indiana to be in service with us.

Her mom and dad, uh Kevin and Latasha Lowry, used to be in our youth group years ago, over 20 years ago.

And now this young lady uh is a nurse and she's a travel nurse, and she drove two hours to be in our service this past Sunday, and she received healing, praise God.

And uh we are so thankful for you as our partners as well, those of you who support us monthly and pray for us and come to our services, man.

We appreciate you from the bottom of our heart.

We love you guys.

We pray for you guys.

We really do.

We might not talk to you a lot, we might not see you a lot, but we pray for you and we think about you a lot, amen.

And so we're just so thankful and appreciative uh to partners, faithful partners to keep us on the road, preaching the gospel.

And I can tell you there is an increase in the Spirit of God in our services, the anointing, uh, the healing power, uh, salvation power, just uh uh even the infilling, indwelling power of the Holy Spirit filling people's lives.

It's just something amazing.

Like it seems to be increasing uh like we've never seen it before.

And we're so thankful and so appreciative for sending us to encourage these people and these congregations and these churches and also the pastors, amen, and their spouses.

And so that's what we're there for.

And uh so we appreciate our partners, praise God.

And we ask you to prayerfully consider becoming a partner as well.

We believe in God for a number of people to give$50 a month,$50 a month.

I believe you can do that.

Uh, I know we spend a lot of money on food, we spend a lot of money on a lot of different things, but I can tell you an investment in the gospel of Jesus Christ and not just about us, it's about investing in the kingdom of God and seeing people saved and healed and filled and uh churches uh restored and renewed and encouraged.

Amen.

And so praise God.

Well, in the next few moments, I want to talk to you about something that's very important.

Many of you know we went to Washington, D.C.

a couple of weeks ago, and it's just been really heavy on my heart.

And I don't know where you live, but I know for me and for our family, we live in Georgia, and early voting started this week.

And I want to talk to you about this if I can, just for a minute.

And I want to encourage you to let your voice be heard.

Here's the thing we've got to pray.

Number one, we have to pray.

We have to pray to the Lord and ask the Lord to help our nation, pray for our nation, pray for our leaders, pray for uh our country, and pray that the Lord would direct you, number one, and then you got to listen to the Lord, and then you got to obey the Lord.

And obedience is this in this time right now.

Obedience is going and voting.

And I don't care if you haven't voted for years and years and years, I'm encouraging you, let your voice be heard by voting.

Some people say, Well, it's all rigged.

No, no, no, no, no.

Listen to me.

Your voice is your vote.

And so I need you to go, you know, vote so your voice can be heard.

Let me say that.

And I want to tell you this because not voting is the same as casting a vote for the wrong side, whichever side that is.

Because I want to read these uh two scriptures to you.

This is what the Lord said in 1 Timothy 2, 1 and 2.

He said, I exhort you therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessors, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

And it so it is vitally important that we pray daily for not only ourselves, but for our leaders.

Listen to what this other verse says in Proverbs 29, too.

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice.

When the wicked rule, the people groan.

Somebody might say, Well, how do I vote?

Here's what we need to do: pray, like I said, listen to God, but look into the word.

We vote according to what God's word says we could we should stand for, not against God's word.

And so I want to encourage you today, pray, listen, and obey, and go vote.

And go vote according to the word of God, biblical values, amen.

And so I just want to encourage you that uh with that today.

And that's uh, you know, uh that's just an encouraging word.

Please go vote, amen.

And do it now while there's not anybody in line.

Early voting is already going on, and so uh we're doing it, praise the Lord.

And so pray, uh pray, pray and listen and obey and go vote.

So let's get back to coming through.

We're talking about coming through.

And so we left off with the subject of faith.

And so let's talk about faith.

I it's one of my favorite subjects.

Faith is the believing of what is exactly faith.

Let me give this to you.

It's believing what God says, regardless of what we might see, what we might feel, or what we might hear in this natural world.

And so it's believing his word without compromise.

In fact, it's a uh it's being so confident that God will fulfill his promise no matter how much trouble the devil uh brings our way.

We can say and we can believe and have faith like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

And what did they say?

They said, Our God whom we serve will deliver us.

Praise God.

Our God, whom we serve, will deliver us.

And so, according to the Bible, faith is this: uh, Hebrews 11:1, the substance.

Hebrews 11:1

Hebrews is, I mean, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Listen to 1 John 5, 4.

Here's faith, the victory that overcometh the world, right?

So we must have faith in God.

He gives us the victory to overcome the world.

Mark 11, uh uh, Mark 11, 23.

But faith is a force so powerful, it will move the mountains in our lives.

Wow.

It's a powerful force, a force so powerful, it will move the mountains in our life.

But we're talking about the God kind of faith.

Amen.

1 Peter 1:7.

1 Peter 1:7

Faith is so valuable, it is truly more precious than gold.

It's greater than anything else that you can have in your life because that's how you got saved is through faith, by faith.

So, how are you going to come through?

It's by faith.

It's by hanging on to God, it's by trusting God, it's by leaning on to the Lord and leaning into his word and leaning into worship and having faith in God.

He will never fail you.

Praise God.

He's always there with us, and he's always walking right through everything that we'll ever face, everything we ever will go through.

God is right there beside us.

Amen.

But it doesn't become our ours simply because we want it.

Faith doesn't become ours just because we want it.

No, no, no.

You can't just decide I'm going to live by faith.

No, what does the word say?

You have to back up your decision with action.

The Bible says faith without works or corresponding action is dead.

And so you have to open up your Bible and find out what God has to say.

Because why?

Faith comes by how.

Hearing, hearing.

We have to be careful what we're hearing.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by how?

The word of God, not by other people, but by the word of God.

Now, you can hear people preach and faith will come, anointed word of God, and faith will come as long as it's anointed.

You can't just listen to any old body preach, amen.

Uh, that doesn't build your faith, especially if they're discouraging, amen.

And so anyone who will uh spend time in the word uh will become a faith person.

Why?

Because we could give a Bible to a beggar on the street, and if he would read it just like we should, and he would meditate on it just like we should, and he would act on it, and what it says is true, he could prosper as well.

Amen.

He could turn his life around, he could be healed, he could be saved, just like us.

So by the time, um uh by the time next year comes, guess what?

His poverty, this person on the street, his poverty, his sickness, his ailments could be all gone and could be over because he and his circumstances lined up to the word.

They changed according to the word because he believed it, he received it, began to speak it, and he began to act on it.

Praise God.

And so such transformation uh doesn't take place, however, just because someone reads an occasional scripture now and then.

No, no, no, we got to be be uh uh about the Father's business, but we got to put the word in daily.

The Bible says his mercies are brand new every single morning.

He gives fresh manna, fresh daily manna.

So that is the word of God for our spirits every single day.

Okay, and so uh they only happen in the lives of people.

Faith only happens in the lives of people who are seriously committed to reading the word of God.

That's the only way faith comes.

For for uh the the Bible says this.

He said, seek me, inquire for, and of me, and require me as you require God, and you shall live.

That was Amos 5, 4.

So uh so watch this.

He said, This is the first key to overcoming any trouble that you'll face.

It's the primary secret to overcoming faith.

Make God and his word as important to you as the physical food you eat.

Make the word of God more important or as important to you as the physical food that you eat.

Praise the Lord.

I know we're out of time, and so we'll keep talking about this, about coming through.

And so I pray this is a blessing to you.
