  1. Father, may your anointing fall on your speaker today, on

  2. your servant, Lord. May you get all the honor and glory.

  3. May we not stay hearers of the word, but be doers.

  4. Of the word, Father.

  5. May we fight or rebuke any distraction, Father, that the

  6. enemy tries to bring in. And church, you better be ready.

  7. We plead the blood of Jesus upon each and every

  8. one of us, Father. That no weapon-forming distance shall not prosper.

  9. Shall not prosper. Father, we thank you, Lord. And we

  10. thank you for the blessing that you have bestowed upon us.

  11. In your name we pray.

  12. Amen.

  13. Further tomorrow. Come on up.

  14. Thank you, Jesus.

  15. Thank you, Jesus. The psalmist said, I was glad when they.

  16. Said, okay, let us go into the.

  17. House of the Lord.

  18. And I thank God that I'm.

  19. Able to be here with you all once more.

  20. Today, I have a message for you and the congregation.

  21. It has to do with your spiritual need. Your question.

  22. In the month of October, the whole month of October,

  23. a lot of churches celebrate what's considered to be Pastor's

  24. Appreciation Day.

  25. And that's what we're going to be doing today. This

  26. message has to do with.

  27. The congregation and its leader, the pastor, Pastor Roy Bovea.

  28. But before I start, I want to pray. Heavenly Father,

  29. I thank you for this opportunity.

  30. That you have granted me.

  31. To share your word with your people.

  32. And I ask, Father God, that my brothers and sisters

  33. here this morning will open up their spiritual ears, Father God,

  34. to hear your word. But not just to hear your word,

  35. but to do what your word says. Because in the Bible,

  36. in the book of James, chapter 1, verse 22.

    James 1:22

  37. James tells us, let us not just be hearers of.

  38. The word, but doers of the word.

  39. In Jesus' name I ask and I pray these things. Amen.

  40. I'm glad to be here.

  41. I'm glad that my mother, Ernest Godlinus, was able to

  42. join me.

  43. Amen.

  44. I met Brother Godlinus.

  45. Back in 1988 here down the street.

  46. Didn't want to see me for the past year.

  47. My brother Ramos, who is the Lord now.

  48. I met him there.

  49. And we joined what was then the Synagogue of Bible Research.

  50. We graduated on May 5th, 1990.

  51. That's 36 years ago.

  52. So that's how long I've known Brother Cutter.

  53. Brother Roy, I remember Brother.

  54. Roy, he was Very, very young man.

  55. He's still young. He was a very young man. And

  56. I thank God that he.

  57. Has answered the call. Oh, I say, Sister Josie, you

  58. have followed very well.

  59. What the Bible tells us in Proverbs chapter 22, verse 6.

    Proverbs 22:6

  60. Train up the child in the ways that they should go.

  61. And even as they grow old, they will not depart

  62. from it.

  63. And I know Brother Roy has not departed.

  64. Look where he's at now.

  65. So, Sister, I want to thank you all for doing

  66. a great job as your children.

  67. Bear with me.

  68. Bear with me.

  69. As I said, we're celebrating Pastors.

  70. Appreciation Day, the month of October nationwide.

  71. So today I want to share with you some things.

  72. That has to do with us and our pastors. In

  73. a recent study, it was found that between 4,000 and 5,000

  74. pastors resign every year.

  75. They resign.

  76. They quit. They give up.

  77. Why?

  78. Let me tell you why. It wasn't because.

  79. They didn't have enough faith.

  80. It wasn't because of financial situations. It wasn't because they

  81. didn't believe.

  82. That their calling was for real.

  83. The main reason they resigned, that they quit, that they

  84. gave up, is because.

  85. Mentally they're exhausted.

  86. They are tired. Some people don't have.

  87. Any idea whatsoever what a pastor goes through.

  88. Okay?

  89. A pastor, a lot of times, is caught in the

  90. middle of a lot of things.

  91. When there's issues in the marriage, he goes, intervenes, counsels

  92. to save that marriage. When there's problems with the children,

  93. he does the same thing. He goes and not just

  94. counsels with the parents, but he counsels with the children also.

  95. And reminds them of what the word says. Honor your

  96. mother and your father.

  97. Because that is the only command that God gives us

  98. that has a promise behind it.

  99. Honor your mother and your father.

  100. So that your days might.

  101. Be long in this land that the Lord.

  102. Has given you.

  103. Whenever there's a sickness in your family, he goes and

  104. visits the family either at home or in a hospital.

  105. When there's a child.

  106. That's in jail for some reason or the other, he

  107. goes and does personal visits in the jail So there's

  108. just so many things, so many things that the pastor does.

  109. That's besides sitting down, studying the word, preparing the message

  110. that God has given to him to share with his people.

  111. That's a lot of responsibility for a pastor. And yet

  112. there's people that say, but what does the pastor do?

  113. All he does is mix up. Behind the pulpit, preach,

  114. 30 minutes, that's it.

  115. But that's not true. They have a lot of things.

  116. That they do for the people.

  117. But yet they don't recognize that.

  118. They don't realize that. That the pastor is more than

  119. just a spiritual.

  120. Leader behind the pulpit. He's there for you.

  121. Therefore, we need to be there for him also. So

  122. I want to share with you some things this.

  123. Morning that you and I should do.

  124. With and for our pastors. And let me tell you

  125. something before I even start. I'm not asking you to

  126. do these things. I'm asking you to follow what the

  127. Word of God says you and I should do with

  128. and for our pastors. Go with me, if you will,

  129. to the book of Hebrews. Because this is what the

  130. Bible tells us that we should do with and for

  131. our pastors.

  132. Are you with me? Hebrews chapter 13.

    Hebrews 13 chapter mention

  133. Verse 7 Remember.

  134. Those who rule over you. Remember those that rule over you.

  135. Who are those people? Those are the pastors.

  136. So we need to remember them that rule over us.

  137. Who have spoken the word of God to.

  138. Us, whose faith followed, considering the outcome of their conduct.

  139. You know, pastors lead by example.

  140. What example?

  141. The example that Jesus.

  142. Left for us. So a pastor is very, very important.

  143. They shouldn't just be taken for granted. That's what we

  144. pay the pastor for.

  145. So he can do this and that and that.

  146. The pastor does all these things because of his love

  147. for God.

  148. First of all, and for the love of his members.

  149. And we should never, ever forget that. So here's what

  150. he says. Remember those who rule over you.

  151. Remember that.

  152. Remember them, not just when you need something, but then

  153. remember them all the time. Now let's go down to

  154. verse 17. Verse 17 says, Remember those who rule over you.

  155. But look what verse 17 tells us. Obey those who

  156. rule over you and be submissive. Obey and be submissive.

  157. For they walk out for our souls as those who

  158. must be an account. Let them do it with joy

  159. and not with grief. For that would be unprofitable for you.

  160. The work they do, let's not be negative. Let's not

  161. be complaining.

  162. Let's help it.

  163. He already has a big load on himself. Serving the Lord.

  164. Serving us.

  165. So that's why the word of God says to obey

  166. and be submissive to Him.

  167. Pastors go through so much. I'm sure you don't ever

  168. hear a brother of the Lord complain about this or that.

  169. But yet, when you go.

  170. To Him.

  171. For a petition, a complaint, or whatever.

  172. He's always there to listen and to help you solve

  173. whatever you're going through. So therefore, besides remembering them, besides

  174. obeying them and being submissive to them.

  175. There's one more thing I would like you all to know.

  176. That we need to pray For our pastors.

  177. We need to pray for our pastors.

  178. Why should we pray for our pastors?

  179. I'm not dressed.

  180. I'll tell you why we should pray for our pastors. Hallelujah.

  181. Pray for your pastors. For strength. when you see that

  182. he is tired.

  183. Investors who work. Not everybody is cut out to be

  184. a pastor. To be a pastor, first and foremost, the calling.

  185. Has to come from God.

  186. Because the Bible teaches us that the calling... And.

  187. The gifts of God are irrevocable. When God gives you something,

  188. there's nothing or nobody.

  189. That's going to be able to take that away from you.

  190. If the calling is from God, you don't have to

  191. worry about it now. He called you, and.

  192. He's going to back you up.

  193. And that brings the Lord.

  194. So we need to pray for strength when he is tired.

  195. Pray for wisdom when there's.

  196. A decision to be made.

  197. The pastor doesn't know it all.

  198. But yet, whatever he doesn't know, he comes to the

  199. one that knows it all.

  200. He goes to God to give him the wisdom.

  201. In the book of James, chapter 1, verse 5, we

    James 1:5

  202. find this truth. James is saying, anyone that lacks wisdom

  203. Ask it from God who will give it to him freely,

  204. holding nothing back. So there's no reason why anybody can.

  205. Say, but I don't understand this.

  206. I don't know this.

  207. If you don't ask God for this, he'll give it

  208. to you.

  209. And then there won't be any excuses.

  210. Pray for your pastor for protection over his mind, his heart,

  211. his marriage, his family, and most importantly, for those that

  212. he serves here in the church. Because the devil will

  213. try to.

  214. Bring him down. Believe me, he will.

  215. He'll use anything to bring the man.

  216. Of God down.

  217. That's why the Bible tells us to be alert. Because

  218. our enemy, the devil, Satan himself. It's out there like

  219. a roaring lion, waiting to see who he might devour.

  220. And definitely he's going to, first and foremost, he's going

  221. to try.

  222. To get the pastor out.

  223. And who are those people that the devil is looking

  224. out for to devour them?

  225. It's those people.

  226. That don't read the word of God. It's That don't pray.

  227. That don't go to church. Those are the people that

  228. are weak. And those are the ones that.

  229. The devil is going to try to attack.

  230. And the pastor said, Pray for courage when the ministry

  231. turns painful.

  232. Pray for courage.

  233. And pastors need.

  234. A lot of courage because all they go through, they

  235. can't do it on their own, but they depend on God.

  236. He's going to provide anything and everything for us. The

  237. Apostle Paul, when he.

  238. Writes to the Philippians, in chapter 4, verse 19, this

  239. is the great truth that the Apostle Paul is preaching

  240. to the church back.

  241. Then, and to the church of today.

  242. And Paul is saying, my God shall supply all of

  243. my needs according.

  244. To his riches in glory. He's not saying, my God's

  245. going to give me everything I want. There's a difference

  246. between what you want and what you need.

  247. You want something, you'll enjoy it for a little while,

  248. and then you forget about it. what you need, whatever

  249. your need might be. God promised me to be crucified.

  250. Hallelujah.

  251. Gloria a Dios.

  252. Pray for your pastor, for grace when people don't understand you.

  253. And believe me, there's a lot of people.

  254. That misunderstand the pastor.

  255. Because I'm sure you'll know this. Sometimes the pastor will

  256. get behind the book and preach on something that's going

  257. to affect somebody.

  258. When we preach the word of God.

  259. And you feel bad about what you're listening to, something

  260. is wrong.

  261. What's wrong?

  262. It's the Holy Spirit that's putting conviction in your heart.

  263. Hallelujah. Gloria a Dios. That your relationship with God is

  264. not right.

  265. And that you need to make it right before it's

  266. too late. Because sometimes we preach on soul kicks.

  267. That's going to affect somebody in the congregation. Gloria a Dios.

  268. And that person, because the guilt is so big, they

  269. start to think and even.

  270. Say, oh, that pastor's.

  271. Out there at the morning walks. He's saying something that.

  272. I don't know who told him about what I'm going through, but.

  273. Nobody told the pastor what you're going through. It's the

  274. Holy Spirit telling you what's going on.

  275. You need to make it right.

  276. So they criticize the pastor. They misunderstand.

  277. Him.

  278. And as always, they're trying to put the blame on somebody. Somebody.

  279. Somebody.

  280. But that's nothing either.

  281. If we go to the third chapter in.

  282. Genesis, when the Lord asked Adam, Adam, where are you?

  283. The Lord, I heard your voice, and.

  284. I was afraid.

  285. So I hid.

  286. So the Lord told me, have you eaten off that

  287. tree that I told you not to? What happens? That

  288. woman you gave me, she.

  289. Made me eat.

  290. Really?

  291. Can you imagine.

  292. Eve putting that fruit in Adam's mouth? That's not what

  293. the Bible says. He took it willingly. Now Adam was

  294. supposed to be in charge of everything. The Lord put

  295. him in charge of everything.

  296. But yet he couldn't even do that. If you were

  297. speaking to both of them, don't eat off that food

  298. because the day you do, you have died. Now, God

  299. didn't say if you eat off that food, you're going

  300. to fall down and die.

  301. No. When you disobey the commandments of God, that is

  302. what sin is all about.

  303. We disobey God and whenever we sin, There's consequences to

  304. that man.

  305. Someone said, now I know that's not true.

  306. He said that when Adam ate off the fruit.

  307. And people say it was an apple. Does the Bible

  308. say it was an apple? Does it say it was

  309. a pear? No, it ate off the fruit of the tree.

  310. And when Adam found out that he had done something

  311. wrong against God, he choked up.

  312. The piece of apple he had in his mouth.

  313. And that is what.

  314. People say we have. Those are things that people just

  315. make up.

  316. If they read the Word of God and understood the

  317. Word of God, they'll find out that no part of

  318. the Bible says that the truth is in God. So

  319. let's pray for our pastor.

  320. For grace when people don't understand.

  321. Amen.

  322. Gloria a Dios.

  323. Always pray for your pastor for a fresh anointing when.

  324. He feels that he's empty.

  325. Amen.

  326. That he's holy.

  327. And there's times, maybe not many times, but I'm sure

  328. there's a time when a pastor feels empty. So we

  329. need to pray to God to give him.

  330. A fresh amount over him so that he.

  331. Might continue to do the work that he's doing for him.

  332. Pray that he stays humble, faithful, and obedient to the

  333. Word of God. Because I'm sure there's going to come

  334. a time when something's going to come and bother him.

  335. Maybe it's something that will make him feel like he's

  336. not doing enough.

  337. And let me tell you, I don't believe that there's

  338. that we would ever be.

  339. Able to do enough for what He has done for us.

  340. But yet we have to do our very best.

  341. Amen.

  342. So to you, brothers and sisters, when you have an opportunity,

  343. and you need it, you will have an opportunity.

  344. I promise you, Pastor, Pastor, thank you for what you're doing.

  345. For God and for us. Pastor, keep going. God is

  346. with you. Pastor, if there's anything I can do to

  347. help you, I.

  348. Can go out here to back you up. Because your

  349. pastor is in front of you, behind the pulpit, preaching

  350. the word of God. But he also needs.

  351. All of us.

  352. To be behind him. Supporting him.

  353. And backing him up. With prayer.

  354. Amen.

  355. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. Let me close with this. This morning.

  356. Pray.

  357. Encourage. And support your pastor. And above all this things,

  358. brothers and sisters, ask God to strengthen him in the

  359. work that.

  360. He's doing for God.

  361. Because the work is not easy at all.

  362. In Matthew chapter 9, verse 37 and 38. Let me read.

    Matthew 9:37

  363. It for you.

  364. Matthew chapter 9, verse.

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  365. 37 and 38. Here's what the word of God says.

  366. This is Jesus himself speaking in this word, by the way.

  367. Then he said to his disciples.

  368. The harvest truly.

  369. Is plentiful, but the laborers are feeble.

  370. Therefore, pray, To the Lord. Of the harvest.

  371. To send out laborers. On June.

  372. His.

  373. Here's what Jesus was saying. When he sent his disciples.

  374. Jesus was looking at the crowds. Following him.

  375. He compared them. To a field. That was white. For harvest.

  376. How can I.

  377. How can I say this to you all?

  378. That there's many people that are ready to give their

  379. lives to Christ if someone would show them how.

  380. Amen.

  381. And in the Bible, in the same book of Matthew,

  382. the Lord spoke to their disciples and said, He gave.

  383. Them what we consider to be the great commission.

  384. Go out into all the world and preach the gospel

  385. to all the people.

  386. So that's what we should do. We should go out

  387. and preach the word of God. Because the end times

  388. are here. His return is closer than Any other time?

  389. Gloria a Dios.

  390. But while we were waiting, but while we were waiting

  391. for his return, we still had time to beg by

  392. his side.

  393. Gloria a Dios.

  394. If you want to go with me to this scripture, because.

  395. That tells us why we should be praying.

  396. Go with me to 2 Peter chapter 3 and verse 9.

    2 Peter 3 chapter mention

  397. Can you find me? 2 Peter chapter.

  398. 3 and.

  399. Verse 9. And he says that the Lord has not forgotten.

  400. His promise.

  401. But he is patient toward us.

  402. Wanting for no one to perish, but for everyone to

  403. come unto repentance.

  404. Simply put, every day.

  405. That goes by, God is giving us an opportunity to

  406. be alive with Him. Because you don't know, I don't know.

  407. When he's coming back. The Bible gives us some ideas

  408. more or less about it.

  409. I would say he's going.

  410. To come like a thief in the night. When nobody

  411. expects him to come. He'll be here in the blink

  412. of an eye. Before you know it, he's going to

  413. be here. And be careful to be not ready. I

  414. want to congratulate you and honor you with this pastor's.

  415. Day for the work that you've done with the Lord.

  416. Keep up the good work that you're doing. Today, you're

  417. going to be in His presence. Everybody's going to be

  418. in His presence. But today, because this past is.

  419. Appreciation Day, we're going to be sure that you're going

  420. to be hearing this word from the Lord. Well done,

  421. good and faithful son. When you are faithful to the

  422. small things, I'm going to put you in greater things.

  423. You're going to see interest into the joy of the Lord.

  424. Amen.

  425. We'll all be waiting for that day. In the meantime,

  426. we just need to be faithful. That's what God has

  427. asked us to do. I wish you many more years.

  428. I'm a pastor. I'm a congregation. All I ask is

  429. that you pray.

  430. For me. He's young.

  431. But today, hopefully, he'll get to be my age.

  432. Anyway, that's all I have to Thank you, Jesus.

  433. I was not aware that he was going to bring

  434. this word.

  435. Thank you, Jesus.

  436. Amen?

  437. Amen.

  438. Thank you, Lord. Pastor, appreciation. But the pastor of all

  439. pastors is the Lord Jesus Christ.

  440. Amen. And I know that God needs boots on the ground, right?

  441. And those that have called, took the call.

  442. Those are the ones that are.

  443. Going to continue to stay connected to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  444. Because he's the one that gets all the honor in

  445. the world. And no, it's not an easy task, easy role.

  446. It doesn't matter what capacity that you're in. It could

  447. be the smallest or the largest that you're leading God's people.

  448. The enemy will still come and attack.

  449. Amen? The challenges still do come, right? And no, it's

  450. not an easy task, especially with the part where he

  451. started saying, Hebrews, you've got to submit. I can see

  452. the frown, and I didn't even see them. But I

  453. never and never.

  454. Will say you've got to submit to me.

  455. We've got to submit to the.

  456. Lord Jesus Christ. However, there will still be order in

  457. the church. And I will say this, Boney, whether you

  458. like it or not, I will not compromise the word

  459. of God. It doesn't say that I will never fail

  460. because I'm not exempt from falling. Remember that? It doesn't

  461. mean that I will never fall. But I know for

  462. one thing that I will never compromise the walk. Amen?

  463. And it's not an easy task for me and my wife.

  464. And I don't take this lightly. I don't.

  465. But I'm thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ. There are

  466. no hidden agendas.

  467. And I'm not here.

  468. To get rich and say, well, you got to keep

  469. tithing and we pick.

  470. Up 10 offerings, you know. We don't do that here.

  471. I'm thankful that God has given me a place of

  472. employment where I work on 40 hours.

  473. And I stay within my means, amen.

  474. Because if that was the case, I would leave this

  475. and go find a position and make $ 150, 000 a year.

  476. If that's what it is, if I'm making it for money, amen.

  477. But thank you, Jesus, that God still provides. Because it's

  478. the word of God that needs to go forth. It's

  479. families that need to be changed and transformed. And God

  480. still needs us. And God needs us. Amen? And we continue.

  481. But what I don't want to fall is where Saul.

  482. Was rejected as king.

  483. As you go 1 Samuel 15, we know that God

  484. gave Samuel direction to tell King Saul to do what?

  485. Kill all the Amalekites, right? And we know that he

  486. didn't come through. We know that he didn't come through.

  487. And this is what I don't want to tell the Lord.

  488. Verse 24, 1 Samuel, we're going to fast forward and

  489. we didn't go through the whole story, but we know

  490. that he was rejected, right? Because he didn't follow instruction, right?

  491. Because he told King Saul to kill part of the Ammonites?

  492. All, right? But then in.

  493. Verse 24... 1 Samuel 15, 24, this is what I

  494. don't want to say.

  495. Because this was Saul saying, then Saul.

  496. Said to Samuel, I have sinned, I have transgressed the

  497. commandment of the Lord. And your words, because I fear

  498. the people who obey their voice. He feared the people.

  499. If people here don't like the word of God that

  500. there's a heaven and an earth, a heaven and hell,

  501. And that we don't repent from our sins. I will

  502. not compromise the word of God. I will not follow.

  503. I will not bow down. If someone says well I'll

  504. give a big amount. If you do this you can

  505. have your money. We will continue.

  506. To follow the word of God.

  507. I will not compromise. I'd rather walk away and close

  508. the church down. Because the ministry continues with or without

  509. the building.

  510. Amen.

  511. And here I want to. Encourage us today. Let's continue

  512. to do the will of God. Amen. As we come

  513. together as a corporate body. Because what I don't want

  514. is to say this to the Lord.

  515. That I feared the people.

  516. Or that you feared someone above the Lord Jesus Christ.

  517. Who are we to fear? We're here to lift up

  518. the name of Jesus Christ. Who's the one that died

  519. on the cross?

  520. The pastor? No, it was the.

  521. Lord Jesus Christ.

  522. Amen.

  523. So yes, as we still honor those that have been,

  524. who took the call. Yes, let's continue praying for the

  525. pastors in all this region. Amen? All across America. We

  526. still need bold pastors. We need bold pastors to stand

  527. on the Word of God. Not to convene, but to gather.

  528. Not to scatter, but to gather people. To say, come

  529. to the cross. I don't have the answer, but... Let's

  530. go to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's go to the Word.

  531. Give Him your hand. Let's pray.

  532. Let God restore.

  533. If the person's.

  534. Already down, the role of the pastor is not to

  535. keep beating that person, but to lift him up and say,

  536. come on, you've been forgiven. And I would want that

  537. from you if I fell. I would want you to

  538. restore me as I would restore you. God wants to

  539. restore me to encourage you.

  540. To get back up.

  541. Amen.

  542. Don't be afraid that if we do miss tomorrow, we

  543. got a God that's full of grace.

  544. Amen. Full of mercy.

  545. Because if it wasn't for the Lord Jesus Christ, many

  546. of us wouldn't be here today.

  547. But say, thank you, Jesus.

  548. That I've been forgiven.

  549. How many of us have been forgiven? The past is

  550. the past.

  551. No more looking back.

  552. Walk in what God has called you in your God-given purpose.

  553. Take what the enemy's taken and God will restore. Continue.

  554. Continue, church.

  555. As Brother Kamau mentioned, when we get to heaven, we

  556. want God to say what?

  557. Depart from me?

  558. How many of us want to hear those words? Depart

  559. from me, I never knew you. What do we want

  560. to hear, Brother Frank?

  561. Enter, right?

  562. Enter into the rest.

  563. But we need to.

  564. Check ourselves this morning.

  565. Can we take a moment?

  566. Can we take a moment?

  567. Say, Lord, where am I today? What's the condition of

  568. my heart? If y'all know me, I always have said this, right?

  569. I need to check the condition of my heart.

  570. Because sometimes this organ and this organ get together. If

  571. they're not connected to the word, they start contemplating to

  572. do things that are contrary to the word of God.

  573. How many of us understand that?

  574. That's why it says put.

  575. On the mind of Christ, put on the helmet of salvation.

  576. But when we don't do.

  577. That, the brain tells the heart, the heart, hey, go

  578. do whatever you're going to go do. That's why we

  579. put on the breastplate of righteousness.

  580. That's why we take up the armor.

  581. That's why we take up the shield of faith.

  582. We put on the.

  583. Mind of Christ.

  584. So these two organs are connected to the Lamb.

  585. Amen?

  586. There's nothing back in Egypt. There's nothing to return back

  587. to the world. Amen? No matter where in church you attend.

  588. As Jonathan was to David, how many.

  589. Jonathans are here today? Let's be a Jonathan as Jonathan

  590. was to David. What was Jonathan? He was David's helper.

  591. Did Jonathan have any obligation? He was the son of

  592. the king. He was above. But yet he humbled himself

  593. to help small king David.

  594. Amen.

  595. Even before David was a king.

  596. So how many Jonathans are out here?

  597. You say, why do I want to be a Jonathan?

  598. Because I'm a helper. You know that God will exalt you.

  599. God will exalt you.

  600. But know who you.

  601. Are in Christ today.

  602. How many of us know who we are in Christ?

  603. So today, be blessed with the word. Thank you. Without

  604. even knowing he was going to preach that, I would have.

  605. Lived for him.

  606. I said, oh, they probably thought that I told him

  607. to say that. But I did not even know that

  608. he was going to preach.

  609. So thank you, Jesus. Amen?

  610. And yes, we do.

  611. Not submit to the pastors. Amen?

  612. We're not going to hear it with you. We're not

  613. going to be here to abuse you. We're not going

  614. to say, hey, you've got to give $ 10, 000 right now

  615. because this is what the Lord says. How many have

  616. ever heard me say that?

  617. You've got to give.

  618. You've got to give. So today, let's be united. United

  619. we stand, divided we fall.

  620. Amen?

  621. Let us stand.

  622. And thank you for the word that went out.

  623. Thank you for the work that you do.

  624. That's why we're smiling, Father.

  625. Because you continue to bless the Lord today for many, many, many,

  626. many more years.

  627. You're a fresh anointing upon him, Father. And we thank

  628. you again for.

  629. The work this morning, Father. Father, may we just thank

  630. you again that we check ourselves today. We thank you

  631. for grace and mercy. We thank you for setting us

  632. on solid foundations. We thank you for your healing. We

  633. thank you when our enemies were on our trail, Father,

  634. you made a way for us to escape. And not

  635. so much escape, Father, but you set us on solid ground.

  636. When the enemy was trying to come in and devour, Lord,

  637. you intervened on our behalf. When someone said something to us, Father,

  638. you intervened on our behalf. What was meant for evil, Father,

  639. you intervened. Put your fresh anointing upon us. You put

  640. your protecting angels upon us, Lord Jesus. And we thank you, Father.

  641. We thank you for your many, many blessings. Not just

  642. material things, Father, but spiritual blessings, Father. What good is

  643. it to have all money if our health is not

  644. right with you, if we don't have the right relationship

  645. with you? What good is it to have all these

  646. assets when our.

  647. Soul is lost?

  648. But when you bless, Father, when you open doors... When

  649. you promote. Father, because when you return for your church,

  650. it's all.

  651. Going to stay here anyway.

  652. So church, don't put things before the Lord.

  653. And we thank you, Lord Jesus.

  654. Father, if there's any prayer petitions today, we raise them

  655. up to you. But church, you've got to believe. If

  656. you need healing, you've got to say, I've been healed.

  657. If you're standing together for a loved one, You stand

  658. in the gap and believe. If your finances, give it

  659. to the Lord. Whatever it is, marriage issues, give it

  660. to God. Men, lead your families. Men, pray for your home. Men,

  661. you are the priesthood of your home.

  662. God has called you.

  663. But if you're married, you connect together because you are one.

  664. You and your wife are.

  665. One.

  666. She's not beneath you.

  667. Above you, but beside you. So married couples, love.

  668. One another and pray for one another. Church, let us

  669. pray for one another. Let's stay encouraged.

  670. Father, we thank you for your encouragement. Holy Spirit, will

  671. you continue to guide us? And above all, also Holy Spirit,

  672. that you convict us when we are veering off. You

  673. also discipline us, but you also love us, Lord. We

  674. thank you, Father.

  675. We thank you, Jesus.

  676. In your name we pray.

  677. Amen. Are we blessed today, church? Are we good? Amen.

  678. It's good to be in the house of the Lord.

  679. We have spiritual food after church. If you want to

  680. stay behind.

  681. We're going to have lunch after church.

  682. We're going to convert this. We'll share it at the tables.

  683. You're more than welcome to stay and break bread with us.

  684. Amen.

  685. And we have some announcements. Okay, just a couple of announcements.

  686. We do have flyers there in the foyer.

  687. If you guys have not received a flyer, if you'd

  688. like to screenshot this one, this is my copy, but

  689. you guys can feel free to screenshot it. So moving forward.

  690. We've had October 17th, which is this Saturday coming.

  691. It's supposed to be the co-ed of luncheon.

  692. We're going to have to cancel that for this Saturday,

  693. the reason being is Ramsey's got UIL.

  694. On this Saturday. We didn't realize that.

  695. So this Saturday, we're going to have to postpone the co-ed,

  696. and we'll follow up with a further date in regards

  697. to the co-ed of luncheon, okay? But don't forget that

  698. Sunday on the 18th, we're going to have Wear Your

  699. Favorite Jersey Day. This Sunday coming up, you guys check

  700. my calendars. You can only wear Dallas Cowboy jerseys.

  701. When you enter here, you cannot wear 49ers, 49ers. At

  702. Taco Bay, you've got to wear Dallas Cowboys.

  703. We'll have extra Dallas Cowboys shirts for those who come in.

  704. We'll put Dallas Cowboys jersey on you if you come.

  705. In with a different one.

  706. Actually, if you come in with a.

  707. Different one, it's going to burn off.

  708. All right, so don't forget, this coming Sunday, wear your

  709. favorite Dallas Cowboy or.

  710. Jersey, team whatever. Hey, if you.

  711. Have team Jesus, that's even better, right? But where are

  712. your favorite? It seems great on Sunday, okay? So I'm

  713. excited to see where everybody stands.

  714. Amen?

  715. And then don't forget October 25th, Passion and Appreciation on

  716. that day. And then we have here on October 28th,

  717. which is on a Wednesday.

  718. It's the last Wednesday.

  719. Of October for.

  720. With the Bible study, we're going to be doing a

  721. family trivial night.

  722. And so just keep your ears open.

  723. For we're going.

  724. To be picking someone to take on the games on

  725. that day, right?

  726. Can you mention about what we're going to take to

  727. the law park?

  728. Can you mention a little bit?

  729. Oh, yeah.

  730. We're almost done. We still got five more minutes.

  731. On October the 25th, we're having a Pastor Appreciation Day,

  732. so everybody that wants to say something about the pastor

  733. can get their words ready.

  734. But anyway, after that, we're going to be going to

  735. Lockhart to.

  736. What's the name of the place? Christ's. Christ's.

  737. We're going to go over there and eat barbecue together and.

  738. Inviting somebody to come that day, not just because it's

  739. Pastor Day, but to come meet Jesus.

  740. We're going to be having a good time there. We

  741. already got a room reserved there.

  742. It's going to be a private room, so nobody else

  743. is going to be in there, just us.

  744. So get ready for that.

  745. It's going to be right at the church.

  746. It's going to be right at the church.

  747. It's from 1230 to 330.

  748. We'll have that room.

  749. And so to dispense, we're going to go ahead and

  750. pray for our tithes and offerings, and then we're also going.

  751. To bless the food also.

  752. Amen?

  753. Let's bow our heads, amen?

  754. Heavenly Father, we just come before your presence, Lord.

  755. We thank you, Father, for this day you've given us.

  756. Father, we thank you for the service, Father, that's come

  757. to take your place, Lord God. We thank you, Father,

  758. for your Holy Spirit, Father, that continues to minister unto our.

  759. Hearts, Father, in a special way, Lord. Father, we just

  760. ask that you continue to be with us, Father, throughout

  761. the week, Lord God.

  762. Father, those that you've called us to speak the word

  763. of God into, Lord God, we just ask, Lord God,

  764. that you would just anoint.

  765. Our lips, Lord God.

  766. Continue to prepare the way, Lord Jesus. And, Father, we

  767. just give you honor, glory, and praise, Lord. Father, we

  768. lift up your tithes and your offerings.

  769. Lord God, of your house, Lord God. We ask, Father,

  770. that you would bless them, Lord God, multiply them, Lord. Father,

  771. we ask, Lord God, that you would help.

  772. Us to be wise stewards of your monies, Lord. We

  773. give them unto you, Lord, that your house may not.

  774. Lack, Father.

  775. We ask, Lord God, that you would bless this food, Father.

  776. Let it be nourished into our bodies, Lord God. Father,

  777. I just ask, Lord, that you would bless each person,

  778. Lord God, who is able to help us, Lord God,

  779. to make the food from everyone.

  780. Who is behind the scenes, Lord. We give you honor, glory,

  781. and praise. Father. We ask that you bless them in

  782. a special way. Bless the food, and we just ask

  783. that you continue to bless.

  784. Each one of my brothers and my sisters.

  785. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.

  786. Amen.

  787. We're just going to sit back here.

  788. So if everybody can just help us out, if somebody's here,

  789. we can set up our tables. As soon as we

  790. set up.

  791. Our tables, we can sit down, Amy.

  792. Good seeing you. Good seeing you, brother.
