  1. Shalom, beloved. You are warmly welcome to today's Morning Glory devotion.

  2. I am delighted to be coming your way with another

  3. inspired devotional written by Pastor and Deaconess Boafo from Harvest

  4. Chapel International, Denyeme Kumasi. Let us begin by sharing a

  5. word of prayer. Dear Father, we bless your holy name

  6. for the gift of life and the privilege to gather

  7. in your presence. As we listen to your word today,

  8. please speak to our hearts, renew our minds and give

  9. us the will to put into practice what your spirit

  10. is saying to us in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Let

  11. us kindly take our confession for today from Joshua chapter

    Joshua 1:8

  12. 1 verse 8. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book

    Joshua 1:8

  13. of the law shall not depart from my mouth, but

  14. I shall meditate in it day and night, that I

  15. may observe to do according to all that is written

  16. in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,

  17. and then I will have good success. Amen. Today's message,

  18. written by Pastor Indignus Boafo, is titled, Every Soul Counts.

  19. Every Soul Counts. The scripture reading will be taken from

  20. Luke chapter 15 verse 10. Luke chapter 15 verse 10. Likewise,

    Luke 15:10 Luke 15:10

  21. I say to you, there is joy in the presence

  22. of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Amen.

  23. Every soul counts. Imagine a home with five children. Four

  24. of them are safe in the living room, sitting around

  25. the dinner table, laughing and sharing a meal. But the

  26. fifth child is missing. His seat is empty. Night has

  27. fallen and the street outside is dark. Does the presence

  28. of the four children stop the mother from weeping? Does

  29. having most of her family safe ease the knot in

  30. the father's stomach? Of course not. They do not count

  31. their blessings and forget the missing one. They leave the

  32. warmth of the house, step out into the rain and

  33. search until he is found. Because to a loving parent,

  34. no child is a percentage. Every single child matters. This

  35. is the very heart Jesus reveals to us in Luke 15.

  36. The religious leaders were whispering among themselves, offended that Jesus

  37. welcomed social outcasts and sat at table with sinners. They

  38. saw numbers, categories and unworthy people. But Jesus looked at

  39. them and posed the question, which of you having a

  40. hundred sheep, If he loses one, does not leave the

  41. ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which

  42. is lost until he finds it. Think about that for

  43. a moment. Heaven was already full of holy angels singing

  44. God's praise. Yet Almighty God did not say, I have enough.

  45. He looked down at a broken, wandering world. and saw

  46. empty places at his table. You are not a face

  47. in a crowd to God. He does not view humanity

  48. as a massive nameless mass. He knows your name. He

  49. knows the burden you carry this morning, the mistakes that

  50. haunt you and the distance you feel. The Bible tells

  51. us that God has no pleasure in the death of

  52. the wicked, but desires that all should turn and leave.

  53. That is why Jesus came, not to condemn the lost,

  54. but to lay down his life so that they could

  55. come home. If one soul matters this much to our

  56. Heavenly Father, how can it not matter to us? It

  57. is so easy to walk past broken people every day

  58. and see only a nuisance or someone who brought trouble

  59. on themselves. But when we look through the eyes of Christ,

  60. we see a son or daughter who needs to be found. Today,

  61. let us ask God to break our hearts for what

  62. breaks His heart. Is there a family member, a colleague,

  63. or a neighbor you have given up on? Speak to

  64. God about them today. Reach out with kindness. Let his

  65. patience flow through you. One soul is worth every effort.

  66. In the eyes of heaven, every soul counts. Amen. Let

  67. us kindly share a word of prayer. Father, we thank

  68. you for being the father who does not leave the

  69. one behind. We thank you for your love that meets

  70. us in our lost state and draws us to you.

  71. Help us to rest in your love and to receive

  72. it as you would have us do. Amen. God richly

  73. bless you for being an active participant of today's morning

  74. glory devotion. Kindly join us again for another episode tomorrow

  75. by God's grace. Continue to stay tuned to Radio HCI

  76. today for more spirit-filled content. Until we come your way again,

  77. stay blessed. Shalom.
