  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. God leads revival. God leads revival. That's the title of

  4. today's message. And you know, gosh, revival again. You got

  5. to be revived in your spirit to see God do

  6. great things and God do great works. So it's not

  7. just about revival for other people, but it's also revival

  8. about yourself. And perhaps you will learn some of the

  9. things that have been hindrances in your own life today

  10. that you'll be able to overcome after this and see breakthroughs.

  11. So we're going to be reading from Acts 16. And

  12. we heard a little bit about this in yesterday's prayer.

  13. I was thinking, oh my, he's sharing my message today.

  14. And then I said, okay, no, it's all right. It's

  15. all right. Because he was sharing something else. Pastor Daniel

  16. was sharing something else. So I'm going to get into this, okay?

  17. So Acts chapter 16, verses reading from verse 16 to 34.

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  18. All right, but let's read the first few verses. Now

  19. it happened that as we went to prayer, that a

  20. certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination, who

  21. brought her masters much profit by fortune telling. The girl

  22. followed Paul and us and cried out saying, these men

  23. are the servants of the most high God who proclaim

  24. to us the way of salvation. And this she did

  25. for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said

  26. to the spirit, I command you in the name of

  27. Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came

  28. out that very hour. But when her masters saw that

  29. their hopes of profits were gone, they seized Paul and

  30. Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities. Now,

  31. a few things that you'll get from this first scripture,

  32. first few scriptures is this. As it happened, Paul and

  33. Silas were going to pray. Alright? It was a time

  34. when they went to pray. They wanted to set aside

  35. something to do for God. Right? Now, this girl with

  36. the demon in her, you know, it wasn't only at

  37. that moment that she was disturbing Paul and Silas. In fact,

  38. the Scripture says, and this she did for many days. So,

  39. It seemed as if when you read this verse that

  40. she said this verse and then continued after many days. Actually, no,

  41. it's the other way around. She was doing this for

  42. many days and on this day, Paul decided to do

  43. something about it. You get it? All right. Now, she

  44. said something that sounded pretty good, right? Correct or not?

  45. She said, these men are the servants of the Most

  46. High God who proclaim to us the way of salvation.

  47. Right?

  48. So you got to ask yourself, why was Paul greatly annoyed?

  49. Let me give you an answer. If she said it

  50. like this, these men are the servants of the Most

  51. High God who proclaim to us the way of salvation.

  52. You'd like that, right? Would you get angry with that? No,

  53. because it sounds so nice, right? It's true, right? It

  54. sounds so well, right? How many of you have heard

  55. possessed people speak? I have. Trust me, it's not like this.

  56. It might have sounded something like this. It might have

  57. sounded something like, would you get irritated at that? Trust me,

  58. I have heard possessed people speak. It's like that. It's

  59. not nice. It doesn't sound good. But Paula, you got

  60. to give him credit. He is patient many days. Before that,

  61. she was doing this and he didn't do anything about

  62. it until it got in the way of his time

  63. You see what Scripture says? When they went to prayer,

  64. this girl came and disturbed them. How many of us

  65. allow irritation to go on so much so it interferes

  66. with our time with God? that it interferes with what

  67. God has meant for us. How many of us have

  68. allowed that? I confess I have. You see, I pray

  69. in the morning for a service before I come and

  70. share the Word of God. I get up early in

  71. the morning and I go walking. In the dark, it's quiet,

  72. it's cool. I can just concentrate on praying. for the service,

  73. praying for you. But I remember telling you I had

  74. this problem with my knee, right? Which God healed me of.

  75. But there's an underlying problem that happened later on. My

  76. knee was still hurting, so I stopped walking that much,

  77. which interfered with my prayer for the message and prayer

  78. for service and stuff like that. So, I met the

  79. same person who worked on my knee, a physiotherapist, and

  80. he said this. He says, your knee has muscles on

  81. the side. There's muscles on the side. But when your

  82. kneecap was out of place for four months, what happened

  83. is the muscle came into the territory which was occupied

  84. by the kneecap. All right? When you don't do the

  85. right thing, something else will come and take its place.

  86. All right? So my kneecap was out of whack and

  87. the muscle had grown in the position where it shouldn't be.

  88. So the guy told me that now your kneecap is

  89. back in place, the muscle is competing for that space.

  90. So it's going to take some time for it to

  91. realize it's not supposed to be in the front, it's

  92. supposed to be at the side. Let me tell you

  93. what I did last week. I was so irritated when

  94. I was walking that this thing was giving me trouble.

  95. I rebuked it in the name of Jesus. I command

  96. you pain in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  97. Depart from me. Go. You are disturbing my time with

  98. the Lord. You will not get in the way of

  99. me praying for the service. It's not going to work anymore.

  100. Immediately the pain left. And I walked. So came to today, right?

  101. No pain when I walked. My whole five kilometers of

  102. praying for you, one hour plus, no pain. This is

  103. like what happened. You see, and the Lord just opened

  104. my eyes to this and said, it's because you rebuked

  105. that which was getting in the way of your service

  106. with the Lord. So how many of you have issues

  107. that are preventing you from serving the Lord and these

  108. issues have become so real in their life, it's now

  109. bothering you all the time? What is Scripture telling you?

  110. Comes a time where you have to rebuke it. And

  111. you tell it, get out of your life. Get out

  112. of your life. You do good. Is the world happy

  113. that you do good? Ask yourself this question. So we

  114. love living in the world, right? We love doing its things, right?

  115. Is the world happy when you do good things? Ask

  116. yourself this question. How many of you have done so

  117. many good things in your workplace and your boss comes

  118. after you because of it? I tell you, I was

  119. with this firm. I don't know where I've told you

  120. this before. I was in this firm. I just joined

  121. and they were making plastic pipes. You know, PVC pipes, right?

  122. So PVC pipes is made from a white powder. It's

  123. a resin, which under extreme heat and pressure comes out

  124. as PVC pipes. So at that time, there was a

  125. severe shortage in the world of the resin. So the

  126. resin actually comes from Europe, Germany. There was a shortage,

  127. and although you may have the money to pay, you

  128. couldn't buy it. So this is going to become a

  129. problem for this place I was working, this factory. So

  130. I walked behind, and you know, every time the first

  131. pipe comes out, it's not perfect. So they will cut

  132. it away and throw it aside. Cut it away, throw it,

  133. until the pipe starts coming out properly, okay? So I

  134. went behind and I told my boss, look at all this.

  135. The pipe is 100% recyclable? Yes. I said, would you

  136. agree you've got about 500 tons of wastage at the back?

  137. He looked at me and said, yes. I said, it's

  138. costing you $ 25, 000 a month to keep all of this.

  139. Because that's the cost of the LC to buy 500

  140. tons of resin. So I thought he'd be happy, right?

  141. You know what he did? He called the general manager.

  142. Come here. In front of me, you know. He tells

  143. the general manager this. This guy came here for one

  144. month and he's told me this. You've been working here

  145. for 15 years. How come you cannot tell me? That

  146. was it. My career there was gone. Because now, the

  147. general manager had become my enemy. And made my life

  148. so miserable there. So you see, it's like what scripture says.

  149. Sometimes you do a good thing, people not happy. It's okay.

  150. It's okay. Don't stop doing good things. Because what profits God,

  151. listen to this, what profits God causes loss to the enemy.

  152. What profits God causes loss to the enemy. You think

  153. the enemy is going to keep quiet? He's going to react.

  154. This is what happened. Verse 20. And they brought them

  155. to the magistrates and said, these men being Jews exceedingly

  156. trouble our city. And they teach customs which are not

  157. lawful for us being Romans to receive or observe. What customs?

  158. Always remember that against truth, the enemy only has lies.

  159. When you are living a truthful life, there are only

  160. lies that can be spoken against you. And you know what?

  161. God does not operate in lies. He operates in truth.

  162. So already these people who lie about you, already these

  163. people who give you trouble, they're.

  164. At a loss.

  165. I'll tell you another testimony. This one happened while I

  166. was preaching the word in Clank. I remember this, okay?

  167. Preaching the word in Klang. And when I was sharing

  168. the word in Klang, my phone rang and Elder Mabel

  169. answered it. And the person in the other line was

  170. a senior person in the company I was with. And

  171. he was very, very rude to Elder Mabel. So Elder

  172. Mabel said, he's preaching now. The guy said, I don't care.

  173. After I finished preaching, I called him. Then he tells me,

  174. who is more important, your God or your work? When

  175. I call, you answer. I remember this. I was on

  176. the way to the elevator. I turned to Ella Mabel

  177. and I pronounced a word Before I could stop the word,

  178. it came out. I told her, because he's done this,

  179. you watch. This is going to happen very shortly. I

  180. went back to work the next day. I was actually

  181. prepared to resign. Because God can find me another job.

  182. You don't ever put your company ahead of my God.

  183. But he apologized. Okay? He apologized. But you know that

  184. did not stop the word from coming to pass. Within

  185. three months, that pronouncement came to pass. And it's not pretty.

  186. The enemy tries to trap you. So don't be surprised

  187. if many rise up against you or that you seem alone.

  188. The multitude has a long history of always picking the

  189. wrong side. Don't be worried about crowds. Are people ganging

  190. up against you? Don't worry. You know why I say

  191. don't worry? Throughout history, the crowds always pick the wrong side.

  192. Look at it. Elder Mabel just reminded me. He said,

  193. look at it. The same people who witnessed the miracles

  194. of Jesus were the same ones who called for his crucifixion.

  195. So don't be worried about crowds. Don't be worried about multitudes.

  196. If you've got a God to live for, you better

  197. live for that God. So I'm sharing this to you

  198. today because you need to start living with that God

  199. and for that God. Because time is short. Then the

  200. multitude rolls up together against them and the magistrates, oh,

  201. this is a lot of drama. The magistrates tore their

  202. clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods. The magistrates,

  203. I mean, come on. These jokers are complaining about somebody else,

  204. you go and tear your clothes off. Does it make

  205. sense to you? Does it make sense to me? You

  206. got to pay for your own clothes, right? You tear it,

  207. what happens? Who loses? You lose, right? What's so much

  208. a drama? Don't be swayed by the drama of people.

  209. Don't be swayed by the drama of the world. And

  210. you know what? When drama happens... it might cause you pain.

  211. Because you know what they did? The magistrates commanded them

  212. to be beaten with rods. How many of you feel

  213. beaten on? Do you know that it's going to hurt

  214. to do the right thing? In my experience, when you

  215. do the right thing, you get hurt. I told you

  216. the last time I was here, My father punched me

  217. in the face because I told him I believe in Jesus.

  218. Punched me in the face. But praise the Lord, God

  219. protected my face because my father was a boxer. But

  220. praise the Lord, I didn't lose any teeth. Neither did

  221. I get a swollen face. I was okay. I was okay.

  222. 45 years later, my father, now in hospital dying, declares, Jesus! Jesus!

  223. Strong declaration. 45 years. In fact, the other day when

  224. I went to see him, he's now in the house.

  225. The doctors cannot believe how come he's alive. Because he

  226. is really quite ill. But every time you ask him, Dad,

  227. how are you? I'm fine, how are you? And then

  228. after that he tells me, Terrence, I know you and

  229. Malcolm are praying for me. I mean, how wonderful is that? No,

  230. if I were to show you what really his condition is,

  231. you would not understand. Then you would begin to understand

  232. why this is such a great confession. So it's like this.

  233. You do the right thing, it will hurt you sometimes.

  234. Do you fall to pieces? Don't. Don't fall to pieces.

  235. Develop a backbone. Because Scripture says that it's quite common

  236. to get persecuted. It's quite common. The same ones that

  237. persecuted me when I became a Christian by contacting the

  238. people I was staying with in Singapore, telling all sorts

  239. of bad things about me, are the same ones who

  240. today have apologized and said, I'm very sorry I ever

  241. did such a thing because we've seen your life and

  242. we know that what you are doing is right. How

  243. cool is that? Guys. And when they had laid many

  244. stripes on them, they threw them into prison. commanding the

  245. jailer to keep them securely. Having received such a charge,

  246. he put them in a prison and fastened their feet

  247. in the stocks. Do you know that the enemy wants

  248. you to disappear? He doesn't want you to be hurt.

  249. So when you are around.

  250. And you don't speak the name of Jesus, you don't

  251. share the name of Jesus, you're playing into what the

  252. enemy wants of you.

  253. What is our purpose here on earth? It is to

  254. share the Lord. It is to share... Nobody said you

  255. got to get them saved, okay? You didn't die on

  256. the cross for them. Jesus died on the cross for them.

  257. But what's your responsibility? Tell them. That's your responsibility. Tell them.

  258. Share Jesus with them. 45 years later, they may receive

  259. the Lord. And the enemy is afraid of that. He

  260. is so afraid you will open your mouth and talk

  261. about Jesus. Hey, nobody says you have to put a

  262. soapbox and start speaking to a crowd. No, nobody says that.

  263. But whoever you come across who's having trouble, hey, can

  264. I pray for you? And then you end the prayer

  265. in Jesus' name. Then you say, I believe in Jesus.

  266. He loves you. He's healed me. I've prayed for your healing.

  267. You can do that, right? Isn't that sharing the name

  268. of Jesus? How many of you got parents who are

  269. not saved? Can I see your hands? Don't start by

  270. telling them they are wrong. Don't ever tell your parents

  271. they are wrong. They brought you up, they gave you life,

  272. they fed you, they sent you to school. Don't do that.

  273. You know what you do? Every time you see them,

  274. You give them a hug and say, I love you, Dad.

  275. I love you, Mom. First reaction will be a shock

  276. and a shiver. Are you okay? That's what my parents

  277. did when I told them that the first time. Are

  278. you okay? Serious. They thought I was going to die.

  279. So I told them this. I said, when my children

  280. come and tell me that they love me, I feel

  281. so good and I realize I've not told you. Why

  282. do I need to wait until you're gone to say

  283. over your grave, I love you? Better I tell you now,

  284. isn't it? So you can hear it and you know

  285. how I feel. My parents, old school, okay, I've never

  286. heard them say I love you until that point of time.

  287. And after that, they started to tell me, I love you.

  288. Not just me, you know. to my siblings as well,

  289. it started a movement. That's how you get your parents safe.

  290. Talk the language of love. I'll give you some other

  291. scripture in a while that's going to encourage you. So,

  292. do not tell them, hey, you're wrong. My first few times,

  293. you see, I was a Catholic. So I faced much opposition.

  294. So for me, my first few years as a born-again

  295. Christian was debates. Oh, I know so much about the

  296. Catholic faith. I know all the ins and outs way back,

  297. their history. Why? Because I had to have debates with priests.

  298. I had to have debates with the archbishop. The present

  299. archbishop of KL, I've had a debate with him. But

  300. you see, truth will always win. And lies cannot stand up.

  301. So the enemy wants you to disappear. So are you

  302. going to remain quiet? Yeah. You better not. Because now

  303. you're playing into the hands of the enemy. Do you

  304. want the enemy to win? No. No. Paul and Silas

  305. were praying and singing hymns to God. I want you

  306. to know it was their desire to pray that got

  307. them into this trouble in the first place. Right or not?

  308. And now, prayer was going to get them out. Paul

  309. and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. Guys,

  310. do you realize that there are certain aspects of your

  311. life that must never change in spite of your circumstance.

  312. Despite your circumstance, certain things must never change. God asked

  313. me to ask you this. What does God mean to you?

  314. Is He your God only when things are going right?

  315. Or is He your God when you are in the deepest,

  316. darkest pit? Only you can answer that question. But I

  317. want you to know it's such an important question to

  318. ask yourself because the next message I'm preparing for is

  319. a really, really tight one, guys. The Lord has already

  320. given me the next message I'm supposed to share after

  321. this as a real tight one. It's one of those

  322. messages where it'll shake the dead. at midnight. And suddenly,

  323. you know what this word suddenly means? It means God

  324. acts on His own time. Do you think it was

  325. sudden to God when He was going to act? No.

  326. God was going to act when He was going to act.

  327. Suddenly it's only to us because we don't know the

  328. time He's going to act. But do you know that

  329. there is a way to know when God is going

  330. to act? There is a way. You know what is

  331. that way? Get thick with the Lord. Get close with

  332. your God. You know who showed us the example? Abraham.

  333. Do you know that Abraham was so close with God

  334. that what happened to Salem was not suddenly. There wasn't

  335. a suddenly to Abraham. Abraham knew it was going to happen.

  336. God discussed it with him. Abraham worked it out with

  337. the Lord to get his nephew saved. Sodom, not Salem.

  338. Sodom and Gomorrah. Alright? Why was that? Because he was

  339. close with the Lord. So you don't want suddenly in

  340. your life, get close with God. Then there will be

  341. no suddenly, you know. You'll know exactly when things are

  342. going to happen. How cool is that? Suddenly. Okay, so

  343. you see, I've had a few suddenlies in my life.

  344. God knows, you know, when I share testimonies, I do

  345. not share testimonies for you to think, oh, this guy

  346. feels so great, he's so great, he's so good, oh,

  347. so many. Guys. Guys. The testimonies I share is so

  348. that you can realise, because I don't look at myself

  349. as somebody great. In fact, I look at myself as

  350. a terrible person. Okay? So, to me, if I, such

  351. a terrible person, can have such great things happen in

  352. my life, what about you, whom I see are not terrible,

  353. like me? You're much better than me. It should happen

  354. for you as well. That's why, because these testimonies that

  355. I give you are what's happening in my daily life.

  356. I want you to know God is a daily God

  357. in your life and daily things can happen. Okay, this

  358. is the latest one. I had a work problem. Now,

  359. how many of you know PDF files, right? PDF files?

  360. So PDF files in a folder, right? One folder. So

  361. let's say you got 150 PDF files in one folder.

  362. Unless you got a paid software, you cannot print it

  363. all from that file just like that. Correct or not?

  364. How many of you know that? You have to open

  365. the file, print, close the file. Right or not? Correct

  366. or not? Unless you buy the software. And it's not cheap, okay? Nowadays,

  367. the software guys are all very smart. They do not

  368. pay one shot, you know. Every month, you got to

  369. give them money. Very expensive, right? So I had to

  370. print like about 700 PDF files. How long do you

  371. think it would have been for me to open each

  372. one and print and close? Then I started searching for

  373. software so expensive. I said, God, you got to help me.

  374. One day, you see, God has his time, okay? But

  375. for me, it was suddenly. So I'm sitting in the chair.

  376. Around 8 p.m., suddenly I had a thought in my head.

  377. I knew this is from God. Go to AI. Now,

  378. some of you don't like AI. Super intelligence, some of

  379. you don't like. I better start using the new term

  380. because it will catch on. But let me tell you,

  381. it's a tool that God can help you use. So

  382. God said, my heart, go to super intelligence and ask

  383. a specific question can you write a program for me

  384. to open a file, a PDF file in a folder,

  385. and after it's printed, close it, then go to the

  386. next file, open it, print it, after five seconds, close it,

  387. and go on to the next file, and so on

  388. and so on until all the files in that folder

  389. are printed. It said, sure, here it is. Do I

  390. know programming? I have never started coding before, okay? I'm

  391. 65 years old. I came into being just at the

  392. time computers were coming out, okay? Personal computers. What do

  393. I know about coding? Nothing. But the code came out.

  394. I was very excited. Next day, I rushed to the office.

  395. Got on my computer. Put in the code. Didn't work. Okay,

  396. because then you must know with all codes there's debugging, right? Well,

  397. I actually learned how to debug, you know. I'm having

  398. this conversation with Iha and say, no, it must be

  399. like this, it must be like, you've got to do this,

  400. you've got to do that. And I'm feeding it exactly

  401. what I want and it's coming out. Then I said, okay,

  402. now I want to bypass... Excel, I want to bypass Word.

  403. I want to just have it printed without Adobe. I

  404. just want it to print from source. It gave me

  405. the thing. I put it in. Press the button. One

  406. by one, it printed. I printed all 600 to 700

  407. sheets in about an hour. How cool is that? That

  408. is your God who will help you solve problems if

  409. you will trust Him suddenly. I had another issue in

  410. my house. This was, I had to do wiring to

  411. a DB box to make my house safer, right? Oh,

  412. she's already taking out the signs. Okay.

  413. Okay.

  414. So anyway, all right. So I had to do this.

  415. So I hired somebody, all right. The guy came to

  416. my house and he did the DB box and it

  417. was horrible. I couldn't stand his work. Three workers and

  418. they're pulling one wire from my main distribution box into

  419. the kitchen to create another DB box. And I saw

  420. the work and I couldn't take it. It was so horrible.

  421. I just called the contractor and said, Forget it. Let

  422. him finish his job. I don't want to see him

  423. here again. I'll do it myself. This you don't do, okay?

  424. Please don't follow what I have done. This I'm just

  425. telling you what Lord led me to do, okay? So

  426. I actually, again, God said, go and learn. Learn from where?

  427. Learn from AI. I went to AI and I had

  428. a conversation with, For about one hour, I asked every

  429. aspect until I saw it in my head. When I

  430. saw the full picture in my head, I pulled wires

  431. from all over the kitchen, all over, and I pulled

  432. it into the DB box. I set up the DB

  433. box myself, and everything worked. And I tell you, some

  434. of it was pretty dangerous because I was literally standing

  435. on the top step because of the way the kitchen

  436. is set up, standing on the top step, reaching out

  437. like this and doing the work without anything to hold.

  438. The other day, somebody just told me, somebody fell down

  439. the stairs, hit his head and died. Here, I'm up

  440. there on the ladder. That could have happened. But God

  441. gave me the idea and he helped me do it.

  442. And it helped me each and every... You know, I

  443. started at 9 in the morning. I finished at 2 a.m.

  444. the next day. 2 a.m. Every muscle in my body cramped, okay?

  445. I'm putting out my finger like that. My hand cramped.

  446. Then I'm up there on the ladder. I have to

  447. wait until my fingers release. Then I put it. Then

  448. when I put it like that, oh, my hand cramped.

  449. I cannot pull my hand back. Then when the hand

  450. can reach, my leg also cramped. Everything was cramping. This

  451. was at 2 a.m. Everything was cramping. But praise the Lord,

  452. everything worked fine. Suddenly. Suddenly. Suddenly. Help came. Why did

  453. help come? Why did help come to Paul and Silas?

  454. Because they were praying and singing hymns to God. You

  455. know what was this praying and singing hymns to God? Prosukomai, prayer.

  456. It simply means that they were exchanging what they were

  457. going through for what God has. They were going through

  458. being caught in prison. They were stuck. Hey, how many

  459. of you think that the prison was a nice place?

  460. Let me tell you what their prison was like, okay?

  461. No toilet. If they were stuck the whole day, they

  462. want to do short call, they want to do long call,

  463. where they are. Paul and Silas were in their stocks, okay?

  464. Do you think they held it for one day? What

  465. do you think? Wherever they were, they let it go.

  466. And you think the prison smelled nice? Got toilet? No

  467. toilet everywhere they were doing all this. Rats. cockroaches, horrible smell, damp,

  468. no light. That was the kind of prison that they

  469. were in. They were in such horrible situation and circumstance.

  470. None that you and I will ever experience that way.

  471. And yet, what was their thought? Praise and worship. Praise

  472. and worship. They know something that we don't. So how

  473. many of us are stuck in our situation? Cannot seem

  474. to make any headway. Praise and worship. Praise and worship.

  475. Exchange your situation for what God has. And then, and then, suddenly,

  476. God will do something. And you know what? Scripture says,

  477. suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations

  478. of the prison were shaken. The things that keep you,

  479. those foundations, those thoughts that keep you stuck will break.

  480. And the things that keep you held and bound will

  481. fall off. Everyone's chains will lose. What does Scripture say here?

  482. When they were praying and singing hymns to God, the

  483. prisoners were listening to them. And suddenly there was a

  484. great earthquake, so the foundations of the prison were shaken

  485. and all the doors were opened and everybody's chains fell off.

  486. Exchange our ideas for God. Praising Him will always shake

  487. the shackles from your life, however firm they may be

  488. and however deep inside a prison you are. I want

  489. you to know that something happened. Something happened. They were

  490. in the marketplace to share the word of God, to go.

  491. They were there in the town to do what? The prisoners?

  492. What did the people say? They were sharing things, right?

  493. So in other words, they were there to talk about Jesus.

  494. You and I think that our... reaching out is to

  495. take place in a certain place. God has other ideas.

  496. They thought the marketplace was where they were going to

  497. share and receive people coming, revival to take place. But

  498. you know where God sent them? He sent them to

  499. the place where nobody wanted to go. He sent them

  500. to the people that people had forgotten. He'd send them

  501. to the ones that everybody had rejected. That's where God

  502. sent Paul and Silas. So when you are going through

  503. a tough thing in your life, ask yourself, who is

  504. God sending you to? Who among the people around you

  505. in that situation are going to learn because God is

  506. going to do something great? Do you know what happened

  507. to all those prisoners? And the keeper of the prison,

  508. awaking from sleep, seeing the prison doors open, supposing the

  509. prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to

  510. kill himself. But Paul cried out with a loud voice saying,

  511. do yourself no harm. We are all here. Do you

  512. know that when the prison doors opened and everybody's chains

  513. fell off, what would you and I have done? We

  514. would have run. Come on, man. That was a horrible

  515. place to be. Now we are free, all the shackles falling.

  516. Why you want to stay there? Got internet? Instagram? Social media? Facebook?

  517. Got those things? Don't have WhatsApp? So the guy run

  518. from this town to that town. Will they know who

  519. he is? No. No photostatic machine. So the picture also

  520. no photograph. How will they know this guy is a prisoner?

  521. They won't know. The guy is gone already, right? But

  522. what did Paul say? We are all here. Do you

  523. know why? Because the greatest problem that all those prisoners

  524. faced was being caught in the prison of their hearts,

  525. shackled with a life that did not know Jesus. And

  526. when Jesus came in, Jesus gave them everything they needed

  527. and everything they wanted. Although they were in prison, they

  528. were now free. Their hearts were free. The shackles of

  529. their pain, the shackles of their fears were gone from

  530. their life. They knew Jesus. They were now free. So

  531. they didn't need to leave the prison. I'm going to

  532. share something else with you a little bit later on.

  533. They didn't need to leave the prison. but they were

  534. now free. There's a much greater freedom than that of

  535. your surrounding. It's the freedom of your heart. It's the

  536. freedom of your soul. So what kept the prisoners from running?

  537. Conviction by the manifestation of the presence of God. People

  538. will stop running away from God if we will exchange

  539. our ideas for His. People will stop running away from

  540. God and start to praise Him in our pits, people

  541. will see God's hand and it will convict them. So

  542. then he called out for a light and fell down

  543. trembling before Paul and Silas and he brought them out

  544. and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

  545. Verse 31. So they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus

  546. Christ and you and your household will be saved. You

  547. and your household. Guys, My father, 47 years, 45 years later,

  548. receiving the Lord because of this scripture. So it didn't matter, right?

  549. I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and my household

  550. will be saved. Your household will be saved. Do you

  551. know that if Paul and Silas were not thrown into

  552. that prison, this great verse would not have been written?

  553. And this great verse is encouragement to all of us here.

  554. Especially those of us that do not have safe parents

  555. or safe siblings. Here it is. Then they spoke the

  556. word of the Lord to him and all who were

  557. in his house saved. You see? So now, the work

  558. was done inside, right? Guess what? Now it was done

  559. in the very place that they had originally gone the

  560. people outside of the prisons, the prisoner, the warden, he

  561. accepted the Lord. And at that very hour, the same hour,

  562. they washed their stripes and immediately he and all his

  563. family were baptized. So when they had brought him into

  564. the house and set food before them, he rejoiced having

  565. believed in God and all his household. Let me tell you,

  566. do you think God leaves you in a beaten state?

  567. Do you think God will ever leave you wounded? Will

  568. God ever leave you defeated?

  569. No.

  570. He takes you out of that circumstance. He takes you

  571. out of that situation. He heals your wounds. He soothes you.

  572. And guess what happens after that? Celebration time. Come on.

  573. Food lah. Food. You see it's there. Set food before them.

  574. And what? Rejoice. Celebration lah. There is celebration. God is

  575. not adverse to celebration, okay? In fact, He's quite for it.

  576. But celebration comes only after the work is done. Only

  577. after the purpose has been achieved. God will soothe your wounds.

  578. I want you to know that God is a gracious God.

  579. And He wants to see you blessed. We have to

  580. grow up. We have to grow up. Because sometimes it

  581. will cost us to do the right thing. But you know,

  582. when you don't do the right thing, there are others

  583. at stake. There are other lives at stake. those of

  584. your parents, those of your friends, those of your cousins,

  585. those of your families, those of your relatives. My sister,

  586. my brother, my other brother and myself, we were the

  587. first four among our cousins to be saved. You know,

  588. we went through some really tough stuff. And I'm not

  589. kidding you, I'm not exaggerating. We have cousins... If we

  590. talk about first, second cousins, third cousins, we maybe got

  591. a few hundred. I got cousins older than my dad.

  592. My dad is 94. I have first cousins older than

  593. my father. I want you to know that it's happening now,

  594. you know. My cousins are coming to the Lord. Maybe

  595. not through us. But because there was a group of

  596. people that stood firm, there are others. And it's happening.

  597. It's happening. It's happening. Guys, don't you want that in

  598. your life? Don't you want to see that happen? That's

  599. how to make it work. When you're in your dungeon,

  600. you can come up, please. When you're in your dungeon,

  601. when you're in that tough place, don't let it bother you.

  602. Just worship the Lord and see Him act.

  603. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
