  1. And I'm amazed at how the prophet Isaiah puts himself in the midst of the human race.

  2. He said, All we like sheep have gone astray.

  3. All we.

  4. Now we all went astray in Adam, but more specifically, individually, people have gone astray as well.

  5. The whole human race has gone astray.

  6. But God still loves the human race.

  7. Now that's a self-willed person that has become their own God.

  8. And we don't have the ability to direct our own steps.

  9. I don't even know what tomorrow brings, do you?

  10. But I do know who holds tomorrow and who controls tomorrow for us.

  11. And it's always for our betterment.

  12. So I always like sheep have gone astray.

  13. We've turned everyone his own way.

  14. And the Lord, that's the Lord Father God, laid on him, the Lord Jesus, the iniquity of us all.

  15. Now, folks, it don't get any better than that now.

  16. Because I want you to know I had a lot of sins and need to be washed away.

  17. And from time to time I still do have a few here and there.

  18. It was impossible for me as a sinner to come to Christ and confess all the sin and I did in 24 years.

  19. So I just had to admit I've sinned.

  20. That's step one to conversion.

  21. The marvelous mystery of the gospel is that all of our sins, past, present, and future, and even the entire human race, was laid on the Savior when he went to the cross.

  22. Now you must accept this, because there is no other Savior than Jesus Himself.

  23. The living word became a human being, sinless.

  24. Then drop down to verse 6.

  25. And as if the suffering of the Savior wasn't enough, the scripture says, it pleased the Lord to bruise him.

  26. It pleased the Father God to bruise the Son.

  27. And put him to grief.

  28. When thou shalt see his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed.

  29. I've often wondered about his seed.

  30. What's that mean?

  31. It means you and me.

  32. We're the seed.

  33. We have been begotten by the Father God.

  34. We are the seed.

  35. It pleased the Lord to bruise him, put him to grief, and make his soul an offering for sin.

  36. Christ was our sin offering on the cross.

  37. We had nothing to do with it.

  38. The Father loved us enough to give a perfect sacrifice, and Jesus had to be willing to go all the way for us.

  39. He shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days.

  40. Tell somebody saying, You're going to live a long time.

  41. And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

  42. He shall see the travail of his soul.

  43. Christ was a suffering servant.

  44. He was travailing in his soul.

  45. A magnitude we don't understand.

  46. And shall be satisfied.

  47. By his knowledge shall many righteous servant justify many.

  48. And he shall bear their iniquities.

  49. There it is again.

  50. He alone, Christ alone, bore our iniquities.

  51. And therefore we don't have to.

  52. We just, here's the deal.

  53. We trade our sins for eternal life.

  54. It seems to me that everything that man touches dies.

  55. But everything that God touches lives.

  56. There's nothing greater than the touch of God on a person's life in these last days.

  57. Therefore, the atonement of the cross was necessary and mandatory for our salvation and eternal life.

  58. And if a person rejects God's offer, they will become crispy critters.

  59. The penalty for every sin of all time was laid on Christ.

  60. We're not told to fight against sin.

  61. We're told to fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, etc.

  62. etc.

  63. So Jesus came to secure salvation for every man.

  64. At least every man that would believe, and God has foreknowledge to know who's going to believe and who's not going to believe.

  65. Without predestinating the person to make them believe.

  66. And he loved us.

  67. In spite of our sinfulness.

  68. Even before we were conceived in our mother's womb, God's foreknowledge had a plan for you and me.

  69. You're not an accident now.

  70. You're not an accident.

  71. There's purpose for living.

  72. So Christ's sufferings then was God's will.

  73. Only God Himself could think, could think of an account like this.

  74. And why would God do it anyway?

  75. When He could have destroyed the world.

  76. But He didn't want to destroy man, He wanted to save men.

  77. You see, it seems to me when I think about heaven and the New Jerusalem that God prepared the mansions for you.

  78. Not the angels.

  79. Where's your mansion?

  80. Oh, it's over on Glory Avenue.

  81. You don't think that God has enough foreknowledge to make a mansion just for you?

  82. Acts chapter 2 and verse 23 and 24.

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  83. Father, forgive us for our limitations of the revelation.

  84. We try.

  85. And the hat has never yet been told.

  86. I just know God's got a big, big plan and a big, big house.

  87. Praise God.

  88. Acts 2, 23 and 24.

  89. Him being delivered by the determinate counsel of the foreknowledge of God.

  90. There it is, the foreknowledge of God.

  91. Ye have taken by wicked hands and have crucified and slain.

  92. It was God's will, it was God's plan for the Son to come and be crucified.

  93. Then verse 24, whom God raised up, everybody say raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that it should hold of him.

  94. Why was it not possible that death could not keep Christ in the underworld?

  95. Excuse me.

  96. It was because he had no sin.

  97. He had no sin all the way through this salvation message.

  98. So he alone could descend into paradise and lead captive out of paradise, taken to heaven as the sinless Son of God and the Son of Man in one person.

  99. God accepted his sacrifice by resurrecting him from the dead.

  100. And if he lives, we shall live also, because we've been begotten of the Father and placed in the body of Christ, the church, the redeemed.

  101. We go back to Isaiah when the Bible talks about put him to grief.

  102. Maybe we should go back there again, Isaiah 53.

  103. He was put to grief.

  104. Now we've all experienced some grief in life, haven't we?

  105. That is life.

  106. You're living if you feel grief.

  107. You're living if you feel joy.

  108. You're living if you feel sorrow.

  109. You're living because there are emotional responses to our environment, but it's an evidence that we're alive.

  110. So it's all good.

  111. And wisdom doesn't come cheap.

  112. Hey, these wrinkles and gray hairs didn't come overnight now.

  113. I've been through the war.

  114. That's right.

  115. And many of you have too.

  116. It pleased the Lord to bruise him and put him to grief.

  117. Everybody said grief.

  118. Now, as any good believer can do, go back in the Hebrew and check out the definition for the word grief.

  119. And it simply means to be made sick.

  120. So Christ not only carried the sins of the human race on his shoulders on the cross, he was made sick on the cross.

  121. He never even had a sniffle until he went to the cross of Calvary.

  122. And then it was all put upon the Son of God for our benefit.

  123. So that we through him would not have to die and be sick.

  124. But it will be.

  125. Now in Matthew 8, 16 and 17.

  126. You say, well, why do some people get sick?

  127. Well, why does a dog bark at the moon?

  128. It hasn't been totally erased from the human race yet.

  129. People still physically die.

  130. We still have physical things to deal with.

  131. Huh?

  132. But from time to time, people are allowed to live longer than their normal life expectancy, and they don't suffer as many calamities and infirmities as the world.

  133. I mean, sometimes I murmured and I go down to the VA, and these guys down there are in such bad shape.

  134. I said, Father, I'm sorry.

  135. I'm in great shape.

  136. I can run through a triple leap over the wall and send it to your age.

  137. In fact, this one nurse said, Mr.

  138. Davis, you're as healthy as a 50-year-old.

  139. I said, Thank you.

  140. Praise God.

  141. Now I've got a few things to deal with, don't we all?

  142. It's life.

  143. Because we're not glorified yet.

  144. So if you see me walking with a little limp and hair falling out, you know what?

  145. I'm alive.

  146. Most people don't even make it past 70.

  147. And here we are.

  148. Praise God.

  149. By the way, we got someone turning to the big 5-0 here in the church.

  150. She's not here, so I want to embarrass her, right?

  151. You know what bothered me when I turned to the Big 3-0.

  152. People just, oh, you're the Big 3-0.

  153. And I felt bad about that.

  154. But you know, I think I might be getting younger.

  155. Praise God! It's a heart condition that, you know, I've been studying about what makes people leave and die prematurely, and one of it is we don't laugh enough.

  156. And I'll admit that I don't laugh enough.

  157. I'm too serious all the time.

  158. But from time to time I'll laugh a little bit.

  159. But what if we just enjoyed life and laughed all the time?

  160. I think we might be more healthy.

  161. Huh?

  162. Studied out for yourself.

  163. Anyway, back on this.

  164. Matthew 8 16 here.

  165. In the Gospels, the Bible says, and when even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed of devils, and he cast the spirits.

  166. He cast out the spirits by the word and healed all that were sick.

  167. It was God's will.

  168. It still is.

  169. But Christ is in heaven.

  170. Well, the Holy Spirit's here.

  171. Yeah, I know, but not everybody that wants to be healed gets healed.

  172. I don't have the answers.

  173. Just like God wants everybody to be saved, but not everybody's gonna be saved.

  174. I don't know why, but thank God I'm one of them that received Christ.

  175. Amen.

  176. That's right.

  177. We owe the Lord so much.

  178. We can't repay him.

  179. But it's our reasonable service to do what he wants us to do with our life.

  180. You get in the will of God, things will be better than the world for you.

  181. Now there's little rocks and things we've got to get over.

  182. But you know, it's life.

  183. That's right.

  184. Look at 17.

  185. That it might be fulfilled which is spoken by Isaiah the prophet.

  186. Himself took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses.

  187. Now there it is.

  188. He willingly took it.

  189. So why are we carrying it around?

  190. Well, I don't really know, other than we're human.

  191. We need to rise up a little bit more in the spirit realm and begin to receive and claim these promises that God has given us, the church.

  192. He's not gonna force us, but hey, if it's there free of charge, why not?

  193. Well, praise God.

  194. The problem is your flesh.

  195. Your flesh dictates your life, and that's wrong.

  196. We're led by the Spirit, not the flesh.

  197. So we've got to repent of this.

  198. And if we don't, we're not gonna get much better.

  199. That's all we do.

  200. We must accept this fact today.

  201. So I'm talking about facts, truth.

  202. In 1 Peter 2.24, you all know this verse of scripture today.

  203. Praise God.

  204. Who his own self bear our sins.

  205. Everybody say my sins.

  206. You say, Well, I've never sinned, you lie.

  207. You've broken one of the commandments.

  208. That'll fry you.

  209. Well, I don't believe it, preacher.

  210. You don't fear God.

  211. Who his own self buried our sins in his own body in the tree?

  212. That we've been dead to sins.

  213. We weren't even living.

  214. We were physical, so mish, but our spirit was dormant toward God.

  215. Well, knew about God, but we didn't know him.

  216. You cannot know God except through Christ.

  217. There is no other way.

  218. Therefore, that condemns all other religions.

  219. Now, folks, you're gonna have to tighten it with the Holy Ghost belt.

  220. Because we cannot accept other faiths.

  221. There is no other faith than one.

  222. Any preacher who preaches something else, he's false.

  223. We should live under righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.

  224. I must accept it.

  225. Even though I've got the symptoms and the fact is I've got a problem.

  226. But the truth is, God says, I am healed.

  227. I was healed when Jesus took the stripes and went to the cross for me.

  228. I must accept that.

  229. And so must you.

  230. Nothing's gonna change.

  231. You want God to get you out of your mess in a nanny second?

  232. When it took a lifetime to get into it?

  233. What do you got to do?

  234. You gotta turn around and start going the other way.

  235. You gotta quit sowing bad seed and start sowing good seed in the kingdom of God, and you will crawl out of it by faith.

  236. God will make you the head and not the tail.

  237. But you must receive Him in order to return.

  238. People cannot return to God except through Christ.

  239. There is no other way.

  240. Every other way is nothing more than a thief and a robber and a liar.

  241. So all sin and sicknesses were atoned at the cross.

  242. At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, burden of my soul rolled away.

  243. It was there by faith I received my sight.

  244. And now I'm miserable all the day.

  245. Is that right?

  246. No, and now I'm happy all the day.

  247. I'm happy all the day.

  248. Praise God.

  249. And so, yes, our sins and sicknesses were placed on Christ.

  250. Everybody's said.

  251. But the total effect of such will not be realized until the resurrection.

  252. Just because some of us are going through battle in the flesh does not mean we don't have faith.

  253. I reject the fact these false ones teach, if you don't get healed, you don't have any faith.

  254. That's a lie.

  255. Not reject it.

  256. Even Jesus said, hey, it's better to go into heaven and man without an eye or a hand than be thrown in a hell hole.

  257. Lord help us.

  258. We need reformation in the church in America.

  259. It's gotten out of hand.

  260. One day, when the trumpet sounds, I wish they had a shofar.

  261. Mayfield took his shofar, he should have left it here.

  262. He gave it to the church, then he took it back.

  263. Uh oh.

  264. We go through things in life and maintenance and operations and medicine and this and that.

  265. And like I always say, if we don't get the miracle or the healing process, then find some medicine that will help you.

  266. But be careful because these doctors will over medicate you, and now you got another problem.

  267. So now we've got to just step back and take a look at it.

  268. Step back and take a look.

  269. So what are you saying?

  270. I'm saying when the trumpet sounds and Jesus comes back from heaven, everybody that's a Christian will be totally healed for all eternity.

  271. Christ bought and paid for that.

  272. That's salvation.

  273. We got the down payment now.

  274. A little here, a little there, but when he comes back, we're getting it all.

  275. Praise God.

  276. You won't even have to wear dentures anymore.

  277. You mean God's going to grow new teeth?

  278. Oh, yeah.

  279. As you go into Romans chapter 8, I thought about, of course, just not here, but his wife's going to be having a little one here, little papoose for long.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  280. And I'm thinking, if the rapture would come and uh how's that little baby?

  281. So she's going to be changed in a moment of time, you know, and glorified.

  282. But what about the baby?

  283. The baby is in the incubator, and uh how's the baby?

  284. I don't know.

  285. I don't know.

  286. You think she might go to heaven and have the baby in heaven?

  287. I don't know.

  288. Wouldn't be any pain and sorrow and heartaches and tears in heaven, so there must be some type of transformation.

  289. Could it be that God could actually extract the baby supernaturally through the walls of the uterus?

  290. Here the little baby is, and she goes carrying the little baby into heaven in her arms?

  291. Or could it be the angels get the little baby and escort the little baby to the heavenly nursery?

  292. You think God's gonna make a little baby grow up to be 30 years old automatic?

  293. No.

  294. He won't deprive children of their children, of their games, and this and that.

  295. I mean, they were they're probably gonna ride tricircles on the streets of glory.

  296. I mean, he's gonna let them grow up and experience childhood.

  297. Folks, God's got a big plan.

  298. I don't know how God's gonna do it, but he will.

  299. The little baby is in grace and in innocence.

  300. Praise God.

  301. Which brings me to another question that I don't know.

  302. What if an unsaved woman had a baby and the trumpet came and sounded?

  303. Would the baby be extracted?

  304. Yes.

  305. Because children are in grace, they're not responsible for their mother's sinfulness.

  306. I know that answer.

  307. How's he gonna do it?

  308. I don't know.

  309. Maybe she'll die, and the baby will be taken out that way.

  310. I don't know.

  311. It's speculation.

  312. We'll be right back to the case.

  313. But first, we want to take a moment to thank work with international artists.

  314. A fine word for artists of the word of God with first power of focus, but well, first, well, first of all, the work.com, dionwork.com.

  315. Now, let's get back to the eight powerful message with Dr.

  316. Wayne.

  317. Now, where did I get to you for interrupting myself?

  318. Let's go to Romans chapter 8 and verse 23.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  319. Praise the Lord.

  320. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirits, that's a new birth, everybody.

  321. Even we ourselves grown, you know, heaven sounding sweeter all the time.

  322. Seems like lately that's all that's on my mind.

  323. Someday I'll leave this world behind.

  324. Heaven sounding sweeter all the time.

  325. I've got more to go to heaven for than probably I had yesterday.

  326. The longer you live, the more we got more to go to heaven for than now.

  327. You see, we have ties here on the earth, but we don't belong.

  328. Well, when that time comes, we wait for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

  329. That is the very time that all Christians will be totally healed for eternity and glorified.

  330. No more pain, death, sorrow, heartache, tears, nothing.

  331. Nothing, glory all the way.

  332. That's salvation.

  333. That's what we're heading to.

  334. So Christ then, because we could receive these things, Christ was our offering for sin.

  335. He was our sin offering and our trespass offering to repeat for our sins, past, present, and future.

  336. Now, again, don't take that too far because it doesn't give us permission and license to commit sins in the future.

  337. A Christian should hate sinning.

  338. We should hate it in our own lives when it gets a hold of us, and we should hate it in other people's lives when it gets a hold of them.

  339. That's right.

  340. Because it's contrary to the divine nature.

  341. You cannot serve God and love sin.

  342. Because sin kills you.

  343. You can't control it.

  344. It will begin to control you, even a Christian.

  345. Look, if sin separates the ungodly, over a time sin can separate the Christian.

  346. So don't think that it's, you know, hyper grace because it's not those certain conditions to stand right with God.

  347. First off, we need to repent.

  348. We need to say, Lord, I I whether it was willful sinning or not, it's all in the same category.

  349. And so, but Christ paid up for us.

  350. All we have to do is come to Him in faith and be sincere.

  351. Say, Lord, I'm sorry.

  352. Forgive me.

  353. I won't do it again.

  354. Help me not to do these things again.

  355. He will.

  356. But he looks at the heart.

  357. If you're sincere, if you're just playing, not gonna work.

  358. His seed again in Isaiah.

  359. His seed.

  360. Christ made, gave the payment for our eternal life.

  361. He paid for you.

  362. With his own life.

  363. Life for life.

  364. And his seed, to clarify this again in Isaiah, all born-again believers are his seed.

  365. You are his seed.

  366. Now the travail back in Isaiah, when it talks about travail, his travail was necessary to be the proper sacrifice for our sin.

  367. In other words, Christ's travail was necessary to restore us to God.

  368. Somebody had to suffer, somebody had to pay, and we could not suffer enough or pay enough to merit salvation.

  369. Man could not save himself.

  370. So God is the one that said, okay, I'll give the sacrifice.

  371. To appease the Supreme Court of heaven.

  372. I'll give it.

  373. Not only will I give it for people that don't want me, my son will agree to it.

  374. So you see, when we accept God's provision, that's all what a Christian really is.

  375. We have accepted God's provision.

  376. Have we done that?

  377. And when people accept God's offer and his provision of eternal life, then by faith, then we're now justified.

  378. Everybody said justified.

  379. Well, we're justified.

  380. And I I break that down to where that you've been made just as if you've never sinned one single time in your entire life.

  381. Or never will.

  382. Now you've got to stay in the covenant of God and walk in the spirit and reject the flesh and hate Satan.

  383. And there's a few conditions to maintaining your justification.

  384. Because you can fall, but you won't if you just let the Holy Spirit have his way with you, which will lead you in the straight and narrow life to God.

  385. Don't listen to the devil that says there's another way.

  386. No, there's only one way.

  387. You must follow Christ and obey the word.

  388. So, how do we do this?

  389. Well, number one is faith in the cross.

  390. I preach it all the time.

  391. Years ago, when I was down at Daniel Villa Causes in South Africa, many years ago, and this person, these preachers come up to me and they go, This is after the church.

  392. They go, Well, you've preached the cross.

  393. I said, Yes, I'm guilty.

  394. Like they didn't understand that you're one of the few that preached the cross.

  395. But the cross is the power of God.

  396. The cross is the means by where we can receive all blessings from the Lord.

  397. Holy Ghost, prosperity, health, happiness, joy, long life, on and on and on we can go.

  398. The cross is the only way that God operates.

  399. We must have faith and maintain our faith in the cross.

  400. The only reason any of us are gonna get into heaven.

  401. Some of you need to get your head out of the dark place.

  402. There's only one way to get into heaven, and that is through the cross alone.

  403. I can't overemphasize that because the cross is the gospel.

  404. I don't know what it's gonna take to get through to some people that listen on the internet, especially.

  405. Bunch of heathens on there.

  406. It's the beast system trying to take over.

  407. Teenagers committing suicide because some idiot said something that made them feel bad.

  408. Get rid of the cell phone! Back when I was a kid, our cell, our telephone number was three wrongs and three longs and a short.

  409. Ring, ring, ring.

  410. Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring.

  411. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

  412. You do?

  413. Ring, ring.

  414. And we were on it.

  415. We're on this phone line, and somebody was ringing it.

  416. Everybody you could hear them all pick up.

  417. What's Sister Sal saying now?

  418. You know?

  419. You'd hear six or eight people pick up the phone and eavesdrop.

  420. That's the way I was raised.

  421. I was raised if you had a flat turn, you had to walk to somebody's house.

  422. Could I borrow your phone, please?

  423. We rode in the back of the pickup truck with the tailgate down.

  424. Nobody got thrown out and killed.

  425. I wish we could go back to the 60s.

  426. Man, the 60s and 70s had the best music.

  427. I know it was worly, but it was original.

  428. It wasn't that vulgar.

  429. Not like these songs, hello, darling.

  430. Sick.

  431. Sick.

  432. It's been a long time.

  433. You know what?

  434. And the sad fact, you all know what it is.

  435. And Billy was raised on that stuff.

  436. He knew who old George Jones and Tammy Wannot were?

  437. Tammy Wynnot, I mean Tammy Wynnette.

  438. She sang that song, Stand by Your Man, and she divorced him.

  439. So most of the bad guy came up with that song, Don't Worry Be Happy.

  440. He committed suicide.

  441. I am glad we don't have to walk by the flesh because man, there's no hope.

  442. It's all fake.

  443. Everything on the earth is fake, it's not real.

  444. Everything, it's a con.

  445. Most all of it.

  446. You're upset at the world.

  447. Yes.

  448. I don't like it.

  449. Paul didn't like it.

  450. He said it's for me more expedient for me to go, go away.

  451. I'd rather go on gone to glory.

  452. But I need to stay here for you.

  453. That's the only reason why I'm here.

  454. The only reason.

  455. I have no other reason.

  456. For those that can reach with the gospel, those that'll listen.

  457. That's my reason.

  458. Travail.

  459. It was necessary.

  460. Let's close down here with a few scriptures.

  461. John 1 11, please, golly.

  462. Amen.

  463. So Christ came to his own.

  464. And his own received him not.

  465. Isn't that sad?

  466. That's if you think about it, that's a sad verse of scripture.

  467. He Jesus came to his own, the Jews.

  468. And they received him not.

  469. Rejected.

  470. He's coming again, he's coming again.

  471. This very same Jesus rejected of men.

  472. He's coming again, he's coming again.

  473. And clouds are great glory.

  474. He's coming again.

  475. Don't you forget it.

  476. Then in Acts chapter 15 and verse 8 and 9.

    Acts 15 chapter mention

  477. And God, which knows the hearts, bear them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost as He did unto us.

  478. This is talking about the Jews and the Gentile conversion.

  479. And back in those days, the Jews thought the Gentiles were dogs that could not be saved throughout a covenant, but it all changed after Calvary and Pentecost.

  480. And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

  481. In other words, God put no difference between the Jew and the Gentile, male or female, bond-free, all one in Christ.

  482. That's a new man, God's form of the day.

  483. There's no difference between Jew and Gentile or Greek.

  484. We're all made right by faith.

  485. Faith.

  486. We're purified by faith.

  487. Faith in the gospel.

  488. Church, don't never forget.

  489. We've got to maintain faith in the gospel.

  490. I know we like to study theology and all the different hundreds of subjects and topics and people in the scripture, but the main thing is the gospel.

  491. Don't ever forget that.

  492. Years ago I had to preach a funeral and I didn't know what I was going to preach.

  493. You know, we searched the scriptures, nothing's clicking, nothing's working.

  494. I asked this older man that was a minister for many years.

  495. I said, sir, I don't know what I'm going to preach at this funeral.

  496. And he said, son, you never go wrong preaching the gospel.

  497. Never go wrong preaching the gospel.

  498. You can't make a mistake preaching the gospel.

  499. All right?

  500. Look at Romans 10, 12 now.

  501. We're quit early today.

  502. Praise the Lord.

  503. Not one amen.

  504. Well, I'll go another hour then.

  505. There is, I already called it this, didn't I?

  506. There is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile.

  507. For the same Lord is over rich, is all Lord over all is rich and to all them that call on him.

  508. So there's no difference today.

  509. You don't have to keep the feast.

  510. You don't have to keep the Sabbath.

  511. You don't have to try to keep the law, even though it's there if you break it, but we're not under the law.

  512. We're above it.

  513. We're in the grace, not under the law, the yoke of bondage any longer.

  514. You're free.

  515. You're free not to sin.

  516. You don't have to.

  517. Satan can't make us.

  518. We just choose to do it through our own stupidity.

  519. And then God has to spank us.

  520. Yeah, because he loves us.

  521. There's no difference today.

  522. But here's the problem with the entire human race, and sad to say, and most of the church.

  523. Do you want to know what it is?

  524. Let's go to John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  525. Very familiar.

  526. We all quote verse 16 all the time because once you're saved, usually that's about the first verse that we all memorize besides the 23rd Psalm.

  527. We memorize this one.

  528. John 3, 16.

  529. And I want you to confess it with me.

  530. Are you ready?

  531. Go.

  532. What a word.

  533. God loved the world.

  534. He didn't want him.

  535. He gave his only begotten son.

  536. Whosoever believes in him should not perish, will have everlasting or eternal life.

  537. That is the deal.

  538. Amen.

  539. Now, today it's it's it's whosoever.

  540. And frankly, we are the whosoever.

  541. Does God know the whosoever?

  542. Certainly.

  543. He has foreknowledge.

  544. But he doesn't force whosoever to get saved.

  545. That's a choice whosoever must make individually.

  546. Or you cannot be saved.

  547. You must choose to accept God's salvation, which is eternal life.

  548. And at that moment, your spirit is resurrected to walk in newness of life from that day forward.

  549. Then you're a child of the Most High God.

  550. Then you're chosen.

  551. Many are called, but few be chosen.

  552. So the whosoever now may be saved.

  553. Whosoever can be saved.

  554. It's our assignment as a preacher of the gospel to preach the message to whosoever that will listen.

  555. And if they respond, guess what?

  556. It's gonna be heaven bound.

  557. That's the good news.

  558. But how will they hear without a preacher?

  559. They cannot.

  560. Go on down to verse 17.

  561. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

  562. God wants everybody on the earth to be saved.

  563. But just because you're a Muslim and get baptized and say you're converted doesn't mean you're saved.

  564. You gotta come out of that false religion.

  565. You can't have it two ways.

  566. And you Catholics, bless your hearts.

  567. You gotta come out of that if you're saved.

  568. People hate me for saying that, but it's right.

  569. Mother Mary is not co-redemptor with Christ.

  570. The Pope is not God incarnate.

  571. And furthermore, the priest cannot forgive your sins just because you go and eat a cookie.

  572. And go to confession.

  573. Confess your sins to God, not a man.

  574. What's wrong?

  575. The whole human race has gone astray, and only the prophet can turn them back.

  576. They don't want to turn.

  577. I know that's the problem.

  578. Am I preaching loud enough?

  579. It might get louder before we get out of here.

  580. I'm telling you the gospel truth now.

  581. Then we go to verse 18.

  582. He that believes on him is not condemned.

  583. So many Christians condemn themselves for something they did wrong in the past.

  584. Well, you forget your past and let it go.

  585. Your past does not define you.

  586. God defines you.

  587. Glory to God.

  588. We've all sinned anyway.

  589. Join the club.

  590. We're not condemned.

  591. But he that believes not is condemned already.

  592. Uh-oh.

  593. Because he that has not believed the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  594. Now, here is the problem.

  595. Everybody say problem.

  596. This is a condemnation that light is coming to the world.

  597. And men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.

  598. That's their problem.

  599. Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.

  600. Men and women love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.

  601. That's the reason it's wrong to go to church and shut off the lights and turn on those strobe lights.

  602. We're not some nightclub.

  603. And yet, all people like it.

  604. They're in darkness.

  605. Gotta come out of it.

  606. Who are those that's telling us like it is?

  607. Not very many.

  608. Not very many at all.

  609. There's a few.

  610. Then verse 20, if that's not bad enough.

  611. This is Jesus talking here.

  612. Everyone that does evil hates the light.

  613. Neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be disproved.

  614. The only way to be saved is to come out of darkness into the light of the gospel.

  615. You can't have it two ways, people.

  616. You can't serve Satan through the week and then come to church and act like you're okay with God.

  617. Because you're not.

  618. You can't meddle in darkness and all the works of the flesh, then come in here like God doesn't care.

  619. He does care.

  620. Actually, you can crucify Christ afresh and put it in open shame, and that's real close to taking the Lord's name in vain and blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

  621. I take a look at this church.

  622. We've got one more scripture to go to as we go to Psalms 14.

  623. I look at the congregation.

  624. Wishy-washy back and forth.

  625. I'm talking about this one.

  626. Wishy-washy back and forth.

  627. Church is an option, this and that.

  628. Your priorities are off.

  629. And we're supposed to build a church the next few years in Goodman.

  630. Whenever things go wrong, it seems.

  631. Well, I remind us all about Gideon.

  632. Everybody had to leave except 300 against thousands of the enemy.

  633. Because if Gideon would have had a big army, they would have said, see what we've done?

  634. See?

  635. But when it becomes impossible with man, it now is possible with God.

  636. If you get a chance to take a look at that picture in there of the tentative church building, I think I'll make it a little bit smaller because I don't have quite that much faith, Brandon, but I'm working on it.

  637. And you know, I'm thinking, where's the money coming from?

  638. I don't know.

  639. I don't have it.

  640. I don't know.

  641. I mean, how are we going to do it?

  642. I don't know.

  643. Uh can it be done?

  644. I can't do it.

  645. I mean, God's the one that has to do it.

  646. Is it needed?

  647. Yes, it is.

  648. Do you want it?

  649. Do you really want it?

  650. If we get in one accord around here, there's nothing God will not do for us.

  651. Because He loves us so much.

  652. He loves us so much.

  653. He said He'd give us the desires of our hearts.

  654. Look, I don't really care.

  655. It doesn't matter to me.

  656. I'll be here until I'm out of here if God wants me to stay in this courthouse.

  657. Don't matter.

  658. But I want what's best for you.

  659. Can God do it?

  660. Will He?

  661. We're gonna find out.

  662. That's right.

  663. And if not, I haven't failed.

  664. We haven't failed.

  665. We've tested the waters.

  666. But I tell you what, God's got this big, big plan.

  667. And if we're gonna ask, we might as well ask big.

  668. That's right.

  669. I'm sorry, Lord.

  670. I've got to stretch my faith some here.

  671. Praise God.

  672. And I'm always saying, how are we gonna pay all the bills here and keep everything going here?

  673. And then all those bills up there and insurance and this and that.

  674. I got a hundred different things to think about, plus overseas, plus my own calamities.

  675. And it's not possible in the natural, but with God, all things are possible.

  676. I just submitted myself.

  677. I just submitted myself to the power of the Holy Ghost and say, Lord, have your way.

  678. Bless your sights.
