Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Psalms Bible Study. Wow,
-
Psalm 24, a whopping 10 verses. You know, is this
-
really even a psalm, really? I mean, this should be
-
included in the prophets, right?
-
Well, psalm is prophecy. The psalms are prophecy.
-
Honey, don't say that in church.
-
I would say it you know I would say.
-
It yes you would so what's your thoughts about this
-
ten short verses when you read it what was your
-
impression about when Jesus comes back it's about when Jesus
-
comes back yes and it's amazing that you say that
-
because you realize.
-
99% of wouldn't understand what this song.
-
Well, because they reject it. They reject the word.
-
No, it's... They're just... They're not wise.
-
They're not wise. That is one way to put it.
-
I mean, of those 99%, maybe 10% of those know
-
and are rejecting it. And I get that, but I
-
don't I don't think that most people are trying to
-
reject God's word. It just hasn't been given to them,
-
the understanding. But I've talked to a lot of people
-
through the years, and they've seen the prophecy in Psalm.
-
So it just kind of depends.
-
On the person. But it takes.
-
It surely takes understanding to really see this. I mean,
-
and so I don't think they're rejecting it. They don't
-
have understanding of it. They're not in the word enough
-
to get understanding of it.
-
You know, most people....
-
Think of it as a chore, and they're doing God
-
a favor by reading their Bible, but that's not really
-
the truth. He's doing us a favor by letting us
-
be able to read his words. He's the one doing
-
something for us, not a favor, a blessing. We're not
-
doing him any kind of favor reading, and he's trying
-
to help us. And I know it is hard because
-
it's hard to read because of the fact that we
-
don't speak the original language it was written in. And
-
it's encrypted with a lot of stuff in there too.
-
So it doesn't read grammatically.
-
And so it does in.
-
A world where we can just sit down and watch
-
TV or read a A Bible study devotional. Or you know.
-
I don't know. We have so many other things. That
-
are easier on the mind. That we can read or do.
-
And this is.
-
This is a problem widespread. Not just in the.
-
In the church. In the workplace. In society.
-
In our society in general people aren't using their minds
-
and so the IQ of most people goes drastically downhill
-
as soon as they graduate from high school or college
-
their IQ it's a proven fact that people's IQ will
-
drastically drop as soon as they graduate from school because
-
There's so many things around us that we don't have
-
to use our brain for. And so I think a
-
lot of not reading the Bible is just that. There's
-
too many other things that you don't have to exercise
-
your brain for.
-
Yeah. I can't contest or add to that. Go to
-
the swath.
-
Are we going to be sluggards? Are we really going
-
to be that? Or are we going to see this
-
opportunity that God has given in front of us? Because
-
how many centuries went by with people not having access
-
to the Bible? If they did, they didn't know how
-
to read. And This enormous opportunity is in front of
-
us in this specific moment in time where we can.
-
Just saying that you're not doing God a favor by
-
reading this.
-
No, you're not.
-
He's offered you a wonderful blessing on a silver platter.
-
And you just have to take it up. It's like
-
this spoiled little kid on their birthday and open a
-
present that grandma picked out very lovingly and carefully and
-
they say, I don't want that. I didn't want that.
-
It was probably the best gift in the whole bunch, but.
-
That's a child.
-
That's a foolish child. We're not children. We're not meant
-
to be infants. Drinking milk. We're meant to be fully
-
grown and be appreciative of what's been given to us.
-
Amen.
-
We come to Christ as children, yes. But in reading
-
the Bible and our attitude towards reading the Bible should
-
not be like spoiled children.
-
Yes, ma'am.
-
Wow.
-
Wow, Rachel. I dare not detract from that.
-
This goes back to what you said, that most of
-
the church rejects it. No, most of the church is lazy.
-
Most of the church, if you inform them of that fact,
-
they'll kick you out of the church. I was.
-
Once lazy, too, and sometimes I still am. It's a
-
continual battle you have to fight, but you're not.
-
It does take effort to get up, don't it? It's
-
so much easier to just Stay down.
-
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of
-
your hands to rest. And then what happens? What does
-
the Proverbs say?
-
Then what happens? You have to be careful. We all
-
have to sleep.
-
Yes. We all have to rest.
-
Yes.
-
There's a point. There is just too much. And poverty
-
will come upon you. And I'm talking about poverty, spiritual poverty.
-
And most of our.
-
Fellow Christians are in spiritual poverty because of their laziness
-
in reading God's word.
-
For the record, you said that, not me. Uh-oh. I
-
didn't say that.
-
Uh-oh.
-
I didn't say that.
-
I said that. So you don't really agree with me?
-
Oh, I wholeheartedly. I'll preach it, baby. It's just, you know,
-
this time I'm not going to get emails full of
-
curse words at me.
-
And nobody has my email.
-
This is true. This is true. All right. Well, you know,
-
you said some pretty steep things there I guess we
-
better read it before I say anything about it. Go
-
for it. Okay.
-
Psalm 24. The King of Glory and His Kingdom. A
-
Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord's and all
-
its fullness, and the world and those who dwell therein.
-
For He has founded it upon the seas and established
-
it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill
-
of the Lord, and who may stand in his holy place?
-
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who
-
has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor
-
sworn deceitfully, he shall receive blessing from the Lord and
-
righteousness from the God of his salvation.
-
This is Jacob.
-
The generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, Selah.
-
Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up,
-
you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.
-
Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty,
-
the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates,
-
lift up you everlasting doors, and the king of glory
-
shall come in. Who is the king of glory? The
-
Lord of hosts. He is the king of glory.
-
Selah. Selah.
-
So I'm assuming you're going to go to that cross-reference.
-
Who may... who may ascend except for the one who
-
has also descended.
-
What is that?
-
Is that Ecclesiastes? Christ descended, so of course he's going
-
to ascend.
-
I was going to do the cross-reference in the very
-
first verse.
-
Oh, okay, so I'm jumping ahead.
-
Okay, so, because 1 Corinthians chapter 10, you know, well,
1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention
-
verse 26 directly quotes from this. So, The best way
-
to get commentary off this is to read that, and
-
that's verse 23 through 33 from 1 Corinthians chapter 10. Okay?
1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention
-
Okay.
-
So, read verse 1 again before I do that.
-
I also want to say how I feel like it
-
lines up with Psalm 23, too.
-
Okay, go ahead.
-
Okay, so, Psalm 23 says, Verse 1 through 3 is,
-
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He
-
makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads
-
me besides the waters. He restores my soul. He leads
-
me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
-
And then this is, The earth is the Lord's in
-
all of.
-
Its fullness, and the world and.
-
Those who dwell therein. he has founded it upon the
-
seas and established it upon the waters.
-
Right.
-
And so I, it just seems like it just kind
-
of fits together like a puzzle there. And then, yea,
-
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
-
who may ascend into the hill of the Lord and
-
who may stand in his holy place, I will fear
-
no evil. He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
-
who has not lifted up his soul to an idol
-
and sworn deceitfully.
-
He has not lifted up his hand. You're supposed to see. Right?
-
Yeah.
-
Who will ascend.
-
For you are with me, your rod and your staff,
-
you comfort me.
-
So, let's go back to the very beginning and see
-
where this is talked about.
-
Oh, I know.
-
I know that too.
-
Genesis 5.
-
Let's do this.
-
I saw that too.
-
Read the first two verses.
-
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
-
The earth was without form and void. And the darkness
-
was on the face of the deep. And the spirit
-
of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
-
The spirit moved on the waters. It said that he
-
would leave me besides still waters. And the Bible redundantly
-
says that the C's in prophecy is many language, you know, tribes,
-
languages and tongues, right?
-
And then you prepare a table before me in the
-
presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil.
-
My cup run is over. Yes, you anoint my head.
-
And five is he shall receive blessing from the Lord
-
and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob,
-
the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face.
-
And then surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
-
the days of my life. And I will dwell in
-
the house of the Lord forever. And that is lift
-
up your heads, O gates. Yes. So it fits together
-
like a puzzle. It's not really saying the same thing.
-
But it fits together like a puzzle.
-
Side by side. I've talked about this before.
-
That.
-
There's chiasms in scripture. What's a chiasm? You've got to
-
say that. A chiasm is from the Greek letter chi,
-
which we see as X.
-
Okay. And?
-
But it's the Hebrew that does it.
-
What's a chiasm?
-
Okay. It is a puzzle where, like, it'll say water
-
in one verse. It'll say land in the next verse.
-
And then it'll say air in the third verse and
-
then it'll go back and repeat itself. Then the fourth
-
verse will say air again.
-
Okay.
-
Or it can be a mirror. It can go, it
-
can go land, water, air, air, water, land. That's a chiasm. Okay.
-
So it's a type of poetry. It's a riddle. It
-
is not poetry. It's a riddle. And God is doing
-
this here in Psalms 24. Um, Take note, in the
-
first verse, he says earth and world, okay?
-
Mm-hmm.
-
Then you go down to verse 3. It asks the question,
-
who is going to do this? But when you look
-
at this and lay this out, you realize that this
-
happens three times in these verses.
-
And also, is this the first time it asks a
-
question in the Psalms? Uh....
-
Oh, wow, man. You're just going for it, aren't you?
-
I mean, there's like, how many questions?
-
One, two. Like I said, Rachel, it's a riddle.
-
Three.
-
It's a puzzle. Four.
-
There's four questions. And two of them are repeated.
-
Two of them are repeated.
-
Yes.
-
Two of them are repeated. So, boy. Why do you
-
think there's four questions here? You realize there's four spirits
-
of heaven, right?
-
What?
-
What about the seven? What about the seven spirits of God? Stop. Stop.
-
That's too far over my head. When I say stop,
-
you need to stop talking. Okay? Just stop talking. Okay,
-
let me go over there. You'll see. So, you obviously
-
know about the Dry Bones prophecy, right? Dry bones, dry bones. Alright,
-
so you know the song. Okay. Let me go down here.
-
I'm not super familiar with it. Like I said, I
-
struggle with laziness sometimes.
-
You struggle with it.
-
But I'm working on it.
-
Okay. So that's good. But you know the song.
-
I know a few songs that talk about dry bones.
-
Okay. So Ezekiel chapter 37, verse 9. Read it for me.
-
Also, he said to me, prophesy to the breath. Prophesy,
-
son of man, and say to the breath, thus says
-
the Lord God. Come from the four winds, O breath,
-
and breathe on these slain that they may live.
-
The four spirits of heaven, the four ruach of heaven.
-
So that's why there's four questions. So this is, I mean,
-
the question is how complicated do we want to go?
-
Because this is fantastic.
-
Yeah, we don't need to go that far.
-
It was like I was saying.
-
That's kind of more than what my, I don't want
-
to say feeble mind. You're the one talking about this,
-
not me. Just saying that my out of shape brain.
-
Okay. Yeah, but none of this is my fault.
-
I know.
-
This is all you, not me. I know. For the record,
-
and this is on the record, right? I specifically said, no,
-
I want to go to 1 Corinthians 10. You added
-
everything else, not me. I know, I know. It's just
-
the way my brain is seeing it right now. Okay, well,
-
let's see this. I will read this time.
-
Okay.
-
So this first verse is what 1 Corinthians 10, starting
-
with verse 23, all the way to 33, So this
-
is the commentary for this verse, okay? All right? All
-
things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful.
-
All things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
-
Let no one seek his own, but each one the
-
other's well-being. Eat whatever is sold in the meat market.
-
Asking no questions. For conscience sake. For the earth is
-
the Lord's. And all its fullness. If any of those
-
who do not believe. Invites you to dinner. And you
-
desire to go. Eat whatever is set before you. Asking
-
no questions. for conscience sake. For the earth is the
-
Lord's and all its fullness. Conscience, I say, not your own,
-
but that of the other. For why is my liberty
-
judged by another man's conscience? But if I partake with thanks,
-
Why am I evil spoken of for the food over
-
which I gave thanks? Therefore, whether you eat or whatever
-
you do, do all to the glory of God. Give
-
no offense either to the Jews or to the Greeks
-
or to the church of God. Just as I also
-
please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit,
-
but the profit of many that they May be saying.
-
This is a commentary. On Psalm 24. And it's so
-
much a commentary. On 24. If you can't see it.
-
You are both deaf and blind. You're both deaf and blind.
-
If you can't see it. So you take note. He
-
repeated himself. He asked questions. He repeated himself twice. He
-
gave questions twice. So he is in every way, shape
-
and form. This is a riddle. This is a riddle.
-
So the spirit moves upon the water, praise God. The
-
spirit only moves upon the water. But the nations, you
-
think it's the other way around. In your mind, you
-
think that Christians come out of the nations and were
-
built upon the nations. No, no, that's a lie. That's
-
a lie. What Psalm 24 is saying is no, no, no, no, no.
-
You God-haters exist for one exclusive reason. You exist because
-
For the purpose of the waters. All these people. Are
-
living their lives. To construct a society. In which you dwell.
-
That's what this is saying. It's contradicting man's tongue. In
-
every way shape and form. This contradicts. The kingdom of man.
-
And it establishes. God is saying.
-
No.
-
That's not it at all. The kingdom of man is
-
established on the kingdom of heaven. That's what it's saying.
-
And this.
-
And take note, it is saying that... It is saying
-
that anybody that is in the world, anybody that's on
-
the earth, can come out of there into the water.
-
Anybody can be saved. That's what 1 Corinthians chapter 10
1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention
-
was trying to say.
-
So you're basically saying that we are all called according
-
to God's purpose.
-
Every single one of us.
-
Okay, no.
-
I know I've been redundantly saying this. I mean, at
-
this point, I'm really sounding like a broken record. But
-
that broken record has purpose. So.
-
So are the animals.
-
Called in another way according to God's purpose? Not to
-
have the same eternity.
-
It's the environment. That's why the entire environment, yes. So
-
the animals too. You know that from the fourth seal.
-
The environment and all therein, the birds, the fish, the animals,
-
turn against the kingdom of man. So anyway, Read verses
-
26 through 29, honey.
-
For if we sin willfully after we have received the
-
knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice
-
for our sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment
-
and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who
-
has rejected Moses' law dies unjustly. without mercy on the
-
testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse
-
punishment do you suppose will he be thought worthy who
-
has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood
-
of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing,
-
and insulted the Spirit of grace?
-
So, this is very plain to the text. Once you
-
enter the body of Christ, which is, this is, look,
-
saying it is ridiculous. You don't enter membership into any
-
congregation without baptism, do you, Rachel? Water baptism, that is. None.
-
Not Orthodox, none. Presbyterian, you can only officially enter the
-
congregation of the Lord via water baptism. You know this.
-
We just had to go through this with Mariah, right?
-
Right. I think maybe there's some churches that don't do that.
-
No, there's not. There's not?
-
No.
-
So, this is stating plainly that after you've entered the congregation,
-
if you continue to sin willfully, you will insult the
-
spirit of grace and you will be not baptized in
-
the spirit. So, wow. How much further can I go
-
with this? What's your thoughts? It's true. What else to say?
-
It's true and it's very complicated. Now take note. Did
-
you see verse 2 is also in Psalm 89? It says,
-
For he has founded it upon the seas and established
-
it upon the waters. Psalm 89, verse 11. The heavens
-
are yours. The earth also is yours. The world in
-
all its fullness. You have founded them. So it takes
-
the Hebrew words and switches them around and says the
-
same thing. says the same thing.
-
So they would have known that it was when whoever
-
was you know when it was being written the ones
-
who were hearing the psalm would have known that it
-
was referring to this other psalm. They would have known
-
it was connected.
-
They would have known it was connected and they would
-
understand why all of this has been done. Why he
-
created creation in the first place. So very. Very intriguing prophecy.
-
Now let's get to verse 3. Who may ascend the
-
hill of the Lord. Or who may stand in his
-
holy place. This is directly given. In the Bible. Multiple times.
-
It's um.
-
Directly given in multiple verses. But you know this to
-
be the children. Right Rich? The children alone. Do this thing.
-
In the book of Obadiah. The very last verse. Verse 21.
-
It calls this. In Hebrew. These are Moshai. It's amazing that.
-
people don't take the time to really look at this.
-
Right here, Rachel, look in the Hebrew. Mosheim.
-
There.
-
That's who will ascend Mount Zion. Let me read it
-
for you. So, read verse 21 for me.
-
Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion to judge the
-
mountains of Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lord's.
-
This also comes up in Nehemiah. We'll jump over there
-
real quick and do that because Moshaim is there too.
-
But my Bible doesn't have this nifty thing. And when
-
I use the Strong's Concordance, like the book form that
-
we have, it doesn't do the same thing for me
-
as what you've got there. Not everybody has a way
-
to see the word-for-word layout of it.
-
They can on Blue Letter Bible. They can on Bible Hub.
-
They can on a book.
-
But if they were actually looking at a physical Bible
-
or book, they don't have a way to do that.
-
No, they don't have a way to do that.
-
So that's not really laziness. That's not really laziness. It's
-
just not having access to that. Right.
-
Okay, so read for me Nehemiah chapter 9, verse 27.
-
Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their enemies
-
who oppressed them.
-
And in the time of their trouble.
-
When they cried out to you, you heard from heaven.
-
And according to your abundant mercies, you gave them deliverers
-
who saved them from the hand of their enemies.
-
Excuse me, there again. There again, let's switch over to
-
the Hebrew. This is not delivers in Hebrew. In Hebrew,
-
what does that say, Rachel?
-
It says Mosheim.
-
Right there, Mosheim. Take note that he just repeated Matthew
-
chapter 24, verses 8 and 9. That's what he's literally
-
saying here. So it's not talking about Jesus. I thought
-
it was talking about Jesus. It Easy. Literally, this verse,
-
read it again. So when it says, Therefore deliver them
-
to the hand of their enemies who oppress them, and
-
in the time of trouble, he is stating that is
-
the tribulation, the lesser tribulation, which he calls birth pangs.
-
That's when he's saying this is going to happen. This
-
is prophecy. So anyway, to get the fullness of these verses...
-
This literally happens beyond contestation in Revelation chapter 14. Read
Revelation 14 chapter mention
-
for me the first five verses.
-
Then I looked, and behold, a lamb standing on Mount Zion,
-
and with him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having his
-
father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a
-
voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and
-
like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the
-
sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as if
-
it were a new song before the throne, before the
-
four living creatures and the elders. And no one could
-
learn that song except the 144,000 who were redeemed from
-
the earth. These are the ones who are not defiled
-
with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones
-
who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed
-
from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
-
And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they
-
are without fault before the throne of God.
-
Period. Period. Period. Nobody else. We know how this action
-
happens in Revelation chapter 12. This triggers a war in heaven.
Revelation 12 chapter mention
-
This is why the angels go to war. They go
-
to war with these children. Now, we know this happens
-
during this lesser tribulation, these birth pains from Matthew chapter
-
24 verses 1 through 14. We know that beyond contestation.
-
Where they're coming from. And why it just said that.
-
No lie was found in their mouth. Now Matthew chapter
-
24 verse 19 says. We'll be to pregnant women and
-
nursing mothers. Right Rach? We've talked about that before. That
-
is talking about. And matter of fact. You brought that up.
-
You're the one that said. That was talking about the children.
-
So.
-
We are going to do this. When this happens.
-
It's pretty.
-
Pretty incredible. Okay. Start reading verse 16 of. Isaiah chapter 26, reach.
Isaiah 26 chapter mention
-
Lord, in trouble they have visited you. They poured out
-
a prayer when their chastening was upon them. As a
-
woman with child is in pain and cries out in
-
her pangs when she draws near the time of her delivery,
-
so have we been in your sight, O Lord. We
-
have been with child. We have been in pain. We have,
-
as it were, brought forth wind. We have not accomplished
-
any deliverance in the earth. Or have the inhabitants of
-
the world fallen?
-
Your fallen means when you're giving birth, they fall out
-
of the womb from the squatting position. So, it's these
-
children who do this in Psalm 24. Literally speaking. So,
-
I bet nobody realized before how complicated these 10 verses are.
-
Because they're complicated. I mean, they're creating information overload, right?
-
I mean, I can tell by your expressions, it's information
-
overload at this point. So, let's get back to Psalm 24.
-
What's your thoughts? What are you thinking?
-
Um... So yes, when we move on to verse four,
-
he was clean hands and pure heart is not lifted
-
up his soul to an idol or sworn deceitfully. Um,
-
that's talking about the ones who didn't bow down to
-
the image of the beast.
-
And yes, um, that's, that's.
-
What this is talking about. And, um, when we make
-
it through and we don't succumb to the fear of
-
what's of the abomination of desolation and we don't succumb
-
to that we make it through having clean hands not
-
having been part of the murdering and handing over to
-
the authorities people who you know We haven't done those things.
-
We didn't do any of those things. We didn't, we didn't,
-
we didn't, you know, during this time, we don't do
-
anything shameful that is a sin in order to save ourselves.
-
So read Revelation chapter 14, verse 5 again.
-
And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they
-
are without fault before the throne of God. I know
-
it was also talking about the 144 things. I know
-
it was also talking about them, but I know, But.
-
It's also talking about us. Yes, it's also talking about us.
-
This is polysemic. This is what they washed their hands
-
with was, of course, the imbiotic fluid. That water. Who did?
-
These children. God's word is polysemic. It has so much information. Yes,
-
what you said is true. And what I just said
-
is beyond contestation. But you were asking what my thoughts were.
-
And that's my thoughts. That's where I'm at.
-
This is where, you know, we're going to. flee we're
-
not going to think about grabbing anything or waiting at
-
all because our neighbors our so called friends even our
-
family will turn against us and turn us in so
-
we need to be gone before they realize we're missing
-
you know, we have to be gone. So this is
-
during that time and we have to do it in
-
all blamelessness.
-
Okay, so can I say this or is it too
-
much information overload? I don't know.
-
I feel like you're going to say it.
-
Just do it. Do you want me to do it
-
or not? Just do it.
-
Okay.
-
I'm not trying to blow the top of your head off.
-
you said you're the one that said you're going to
-
have to do this in innocence and simplify this had
-
to do with an idol right you said that listen
-
and he will explain it to you Matthew chapter 24
-
verse 15 therefore when you see the abomination of desolation
-
spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy
-
place whoever reads let him understand then let those who
-
are in Judea flee to the mountains Let him who
-
is on the housetop not go down to take anything
-
out of the house. Let me reword that. Not take
-
any idol, any man-made thing. He goes further. Let him
-
who is in the field not go back to get
-
an idol, a thing. Yes, here it says clothes, anything man-made.
-
It's not those things that are important. Verse 19, but what?
-
So no idols, but what? Let him who is in
-
the field not go back to get his clothes. Woe
-
to those who are pregnant, women and nursing and those
-
babies in those days. Pray your flight, you are to flee.
-
And you realize this diatribe here is built off Verse
-
4 of Psalm 24.
-
Or on the Sabbath. Why on the Sabbath? Are they
-
going to be tracking people more.
-
On the Sabbath?
-
Because they're going to still be trying to enforce certain
-
biblical laws?
-
Why that?
-
Okay. Because we know that in order to save a life,
-
we can do things on the Sabbath in order to
-
save a life. We know that.
-
Oh, that's not what the clergy said. No, Rach, that's
-
not what the clergy said. They wanted to kill him
-
for it. Right. But, you know, we know that.
-
So this is not God saying that we shouldn't. be
-
trying to flee, that the clergy will come after us
-
for trying. They will be watching more closely on the
-
Sabbath because nobody's supposed to be out of their house, maybe.
-
I don't know. So let me say this. Why would
-
you be on the rooftop? You don't know, do you?
-
If there was a flood.
-
No.
-
Why would you be on the rooftop? If there was
-
a flood. They would go up there to dry out
-
the grain. Next verse. Why would you be in the field?
-
You don't just go stand in the middle of it.
-
You don't just go stand in the middle of the
-
wheat field.
-
Harvest. What are we getting at? Because we don't really
-
have our rooftops are like this. We can't put anything
-
up there.
-
Right.
-
So I'm just thinking, why would I go to a rooftop?
-
I'm thinking the only thing I can think of is
-
I would go up to a rooftop if there was
-
a flood.
-
You asked the question, not me. I'm explaining it to you.
-
Now you're asking me a question. You said, why on
-
the Sabbath? I'm trying to tell you. I'm trying to
-
tell you. On the Sabbath, why did they try to
-
kill him? You know this.
-
They tried to kill him because they were trying to
-
entrap him.
-
On the Sabbath, his disciples were doing what?
-
They were getting grains of wheat and eating it. Yes.
-
He's trying to say that the part of the great
-
apostasy will be them trying to enforce all these man-made laws. Okay?
-
They will begin to... Literally what happened to Jesus Christ
-
that day, in the field, with his disciples, they'll try
-
to enforce. It's riddling it to you. Right, right.
-
So... So, yeah.
-
Very interesting, huh? It's interesting.
-
We're not away from the chapter.
-
Right, I know. So let's get back to the chapter.
-
What about verse 5?
-
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness
-
from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the
-
generation who will seek him, who seek your face.
-
Selah.
-
So this is that generation of those who remain. Speaking
-
of That generation of those who will remain. This is Jacob.
-
The generation of those who seek him. Who seek your face.
-
Yes, and it just... It's amazing how you're one of
-
the very few people that have seen that. He said,
-
this is Jacob present tense. He's saying that it is
-
during these birth pangs... you'll either be born again or not,
-
but you will be part of the congregation. So right now,
-
if you attend a church building, if you've been water
-
baptized into a covenant with a building, you're Jacob. But
-
being Jacob is not enough. Jacob must be born again
-
into Israel. Next verse.
-
I need to get, take a break and get a
-
drink of water.
-
Go for it. So before she comes in, just take
-
note that, uh, here prophetically in reference to the children, uh,
-
the gates, of course, is the birth canal, but we
-
won't talk about that. Um, Because I noticed everybody has fled.
-
Only one participant remains in the room. Man.
-
Well, maybe they got cut off. Don't judge them. Maybe
-
they thought we were arguing. Because sometimes when we get intense,
-
we sound like we're arguing or something.
-
That's the sound of dry bones coming together.
-
Yeah, but.
-
I hope people don't think we were arguing earlier.
-
This was just.
-
We were getting kind of intense.
-
It's hot now. Turn off the furnace. Scoot closer to me. Okay,
-
next verse. Okay.
-
Oh.
-
Verse 7.
-
Lift up your heads, O you gates, and be lifted up,
-
you everlasting doors. Okay, this is where I was curious
-
as to what they represent because I can't remember any
-
kind of gate that would have a head. So, like,
-
I want to know... Is this like something else in Hebrew?
-
Or what's going on here? Okay, Rachel. I couldn't even
-
think of any gate that even resembled a head. So,
-
having a head.
-
Rachel, when I say it, I'm going to have to
-
say it. I've repeatedly tried to direct your minds that
-
prophetically this is talking about those children. Riddle me, Rachel.
-
How does the doctor know the baby's getting ready to
-
be born? Ah, yes. Go ahead, say it. It's true.
-
I can't remember the word.
-
To check to see if the cervix is dilated.
-
The head drops down. They're delivered what? How are babies
-
naturally delivered? Are they headfirst or are they breech?
-
They're supposed to be headfirst. Sometimes they're breech, though.
-
Sometimes they're breech. It's trying to say something to you.
-
Sometimes they're breech. Jacob must be born again. Wait.
-
If their heads are lifted up, they would be breech.
-
They would.
-
But their heads would be upward and not downward.
-
Their heads come out first through the gates. But then
-
it would be down. You're confusing yourself, okay? Lift up
-
your head. Oh, you gates.
-
Okay.
-
A baby's born head first, Rach. Right.
-
But it's coming down.
-
And it says, we just read in Isaiah chapter 1.
Isaiah 1 chapter mention
-
I hear I'm overthinking it.
-
Well, that's why I had you read Isaiah chapter 26,
Isaiah 26 chapter mention
-
and it said that the inhabitants of the world had
-
not fallen. Don't you see? In Hebrew, it's... Okay. Okay, so.
-
Verse 8.
-
I didn't finish reading it. Lift up your heads, O
-
you gates... and be lifted up to everlasting doors, and
-
the King of Glory shall come in.
-
This is why the rabbis, after the fact, you can
-
find it in their commentaries, that they know this is
-
talking about the birth of the Messiah. Okay. And they're
-
saying this is why the clergy at the time, both
-
the Pharisees and the Sadducees, they're the clergy, the Sanhedrin,
-
both of them would accept no sign. The Messiah was
-
only supposed to do one thing, deliver them from the Romans, right?
-
That's why they rejected Christ. They didn't want him healing
-
the lame. They wanted him to set up their kingdom.
-
That's what they wanted, their kingdom, right? That's how they,
-
this is one of the reasons why they so vehemently
-
rejected him. Vehemently. Now, now that you know this, King Herod,
-
when the Magi came, you realize King Herod got an earful.
-
He's like, what's been born? King Herod and all the
-
Herodians were thinking about Psalm 24. Okay? But it's also
-
talking about it's not only talking about these children that's
-
a mechanism but we just like we read Hebrews chapter
-
10 verses 26 through 29 You must be baptized of
-
the Holy Spirit, Rachel. You must be born in this
-
imbiotic fluid.
-
The spirit.
-
Where the spirit moves. And the first thing that happens,
-
everybody knows, now we know we're going to have a baby,
-
is when the water breaks. This is, I mean, me
-
even saying it is stupid to even say it. It's
-
just as established as the sky is blue. When your
-
water breaks, you ain't worried about false labor. You're getting
-
ready to have yourself a baby once the water breaks.
-
Right?
-
And that water breaking is said in the scriptures to
-
be the flood of many waters.
-
Right? Okay.
-
So go ahead, finish reading.
-
Who is this king of glory? The Lord strong and mighty,
-
the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O
-
you gates. Lift up, you everlasting doors, and the King
-
of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory?
-
The Lord of hosts. He is the King of glory.
-
Okay, so take note. This is saying... Okay, let's... Go
-
back to verse 3 and read that. Who may ascend
-
the hill of the Lord or who may stand in
-
his holy place? He is saying that this Messiah, this
-
Messiah was going to come from heaven. He's coming from
-
God's holy hill and he's going to come here. Okay,
-
so when you know this, you realize what this is.
-
This is a great riddle saying that Everything starts in heaven.
-
This war is going to start in heaven. And all
-
these things are going to be made manifest on the
-
earth in creation. And if you can't see it, you
-
just read it like it's a little golden book.
-
So what is representative of the everlasting doors?
-
Because you said the gates, but what is....
-
Representative of the everlasting doors.
-
Once he was born, the only way into eternal life
-
is what? Jesus said, I am the what? The door.
-
The life. I am the life. Right? So he said
-
this a trillion times. Once the Messiah is born, he
-
creates everlasting life. You can only be.
-
You can only obtain everlasting life By being baptized in
-
the Holy Spirit. You must be born again. Through Christ Jesus.
-
Through the King of Glory. His name is the Lord
-
Jesus Christ. That's his name. And you can be just
-
like the Sanhedrin. Because the Sanhedrin dotted all their I's
-
and crossed all their T's, didn't they, Rach? But they
-
had not been born again and they died, Jacob. They died, Jacob.
-
They died. Because they refused to be born again. Even
-
though the King of Glory was standing right in front
-
of them. They had massive eyewitness accounts about what happened
-
with the Magi. It was in official Roman records. This
-
is the Messiah. The Messiah had been born. They rejected it.
-
They were enemies of Christ. They killed him. And you're
-
supposed to know your clergy. Yes, they will. Thus saith
-
the word.
-
Maybe not your current clergy, but the clergy that will
-
be in.
-
The apostasy.
-
The clergy that will be in reigning power at that
-
time will be.
-
And anybody who.
-
Any of the clergy who doesn't go along with that
-
will not be clergy yet.
-
They will be martyred. Thus saith the word. Thus saith
-
the word. Any clergy that's been born again. They will
-
be martyred. So. How long have we. We're up to
-
an hour baby. Yeah. I think we're good. I think
-
we've given them enough.
-
To ponder on.
-
Not them.
-
One.
-
Do you realize they don't realize that I don't have
-
to post this?
-
Well, yeah, but people are going to. You don't have to,
-
but you're going to. I know you are.
-
How do you know that?
-
I don't know for sure, but God could change things.
-
I don't know.
-
You probably will. I mean, why wouldn't you?
-
I'm faithful, Rachel.
-
Things can happen, I suppose. Things can get lost in
-
outer space.
-
Yes, they can. Outer space is deep, isn't it? It's
-
not infinite, but it is deep.
-
All right.
-
Any questions or comments? Going once. Going twice. Third time's
-
a charm. Until next time, ladies and gentlemen, God bless.
-
Godspeed.
