Welcome to Transformation Church Podcast, where we represent God to
-
the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We're so
-
glad you're here, and wherever you're listening from, we believe
-
God will transform your life through today's message.
-
All the lovers of Jesus, give them a good praise.
-
Come on, give them a good shout if you really
-
love them. Do me a favor. It's very important. It's very, very,
-
very important. Two things are very important. First thing, it's
-
very important who you marry. Second thing, it's very important
-
who you sit next to in church. Do me a favor,
-
turn and tell your neighbor, tell him, if you're not
-
going to help me praise him today, then go on
-
and move out my way. Tell him, because I didn't
-
come to be cute for you. I didn't come to
-
impress nobody. But I came to lift up the matchless,
-
the marvelous, the mighty, the majestic, the wonderful. Name of Jesus.
-
Clap your hands if he's been wonderful. Clap your hands
-
if he's been marvelous. Clap your hands if he's been
-
better than good. High five your praise partner. Tell him
-
I got a reason to praise him. I got a
-
reason to praise him. They don't say it no more,
-
Mama Todd, but they used to say, when I think
-
of the goodness of Jesus, I feel churchy. When I
-
think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he's
-
done for me, excuse me, but my soul cries out.
-
He's been better than good to me. Well, listen, listen, family,
-
you're in the right place at the right time. I
-
believe you're going to get the right word. And I
-
am I am beyond honored. I was honored until I
-
got offended. And I got offended because Pastor Mike, executive
-
assistant named is Mo. And Mo had a nerve to
-
say in front of me. Wow. He was talking to
-
another staff member. Usually, at conference, we have somebody from
-
the home team close it out. I said, well, Mo,
-
who you think I am? What do you think it's...
-
Since when did I become a part of the away team?
-
I am... It's home for me, though. I was like, Mo,
-
I was here before you got... I mean... Are you...
-
You more newer than me. I'm home, man. I'm home. Hey,
-
I brought some gifts. I released a book recently called
-
Winds of Revival. And it's really, I've learned a lot
-
about how God's response to surrender is revival. Revival is
-
not random. It's a response. And a wasted revival is
-
when you just receive an awakening. The responsibility of revival
-
is that after you have this awakening, you are activated.
-
And the Lord gave me a ton of revelations the
-
first quarter of this year. It's the fastest book I wrote.
-
And we released it in August. But we brought limited copies.
-
Pastor Mike came to my church and bought up all
-
of them. And gave them to everybody at our church.
-
So I bought some more copies here. I want to
-
give this one to Mama Todd because that's my... It's
-
my other mama. She prayed with me before I came
-
up here. And then I want to give this other
-
one to, is this the same, is this the camera
-
lady from conference? This woman was over here just straight,
-
just straight, just, just, just. I said, this woman danced
-
like David with a whole camera in her hand. Baby,
-
that's your gift. You've been blessing us all week. I
-
need to bless you. That's a bad girl right there.
-
There is no pastor who has had more influence over
-
me as a pastor than Pastor Michael Todd. And not
-
just who he is up here. And I get so
-
mad I be wanting to just defend him all the time,
-
but the Lord won't even let me defend myself. So
-
every time I type something to defend, I got to
-
delete it. But I'm like, clearly y'all don't know this guy.
-
He is, seriously, I only know one person more humble
-
than him, and that's me. But he is the most, Travis,
-
you can't call yourself humble. That's dumb. Next to me,
-
he's the most humble person leader on the planet. And
-
I watched his integrity. I watched the way he loves
-
his beautiful wife, Pastor Natalie. I watched the way he
-
loves his kids. I watched the way he loves his parents.
-
I watched the way he loved his team. I was convicted,
-
Pastor Charles, when he started blessing the media team for
-
messing up the video. I said, man, I got to
-
grow some more as a leader. I would have been like,
-
who did this? It was like they've been working hard.
-
God bless them. What a leader. That just showed you
-
the heart of the leader of this house. Samantha, God,
-
we're for you. We love you. We're grateful for you.
-
Pastor Natalie, we love you. We're grateful for you. Thank
-
you for believing in me. And thank you for believing
-
in my wife. Y'all, I brought a dime piece with
-
me today. The most brilliant woman in the world. What
-
a cameraman. Get a close-up. Show the people. It's Dr. Jackie, everybody.
-
Y'all make some noise for my Ghanaian queen. Come on, Africa.
-
All right, grab your Bibles. I got a word from God,
-
and I came here not knowing what I was going
-
to preach at conference when he invited me. And I
-
just sat through all the sessions, and I said, well,
-
he's going to speak eventually. God will. And he started
-
speaking to me, and I got a word from God
-
for you. Grab your Bibles, turn to the book of Genesis. Now,
-
if it take you a while to get there, that's
-
all right. You're safe here. We'll have it on the screen.
-
Genesis 37. You can look on the screen or on
-
your smart devices unless you have an Android. That's not
-
a smart device. All Android people are the same. They
-
just be like, don't talk about my Android. Hey, we're
-
going to read this very quickly. Simon says, stand up
-
for all the people who legs a little tired. Nobody
-
told you to wear them heels to church today. Feet
-
scrunched up like some crab legs. Nobody told you to
-
do that. You should have came comfortable. Genesis 37. We're
-
going to start in verse 23. I love this whole staff, man.
-
Thank y'all for welcoming me. All of y'all, Pastor Will
-
and Pastor Tammy and Uncle Scott, Pastor Bree and Aaron
-
and Pastor Charles and your whole family, Abby Rose. Pastor,
-
who am I missing? Pastor Amber, dog only. And your
-
muscular husband, we bless him too. I said, man, this
-
man neck strong. Everything is strong. Hands. Genesis 37. Verse 23.
-
So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him
-
of his robe, the ornate robe he was wearing. It's
-
a coat of many colors. And they took him and
-
threw him into a cistern That's a pit. That's a well.
-
The cistern was empty. There was no water in it.
-
The Bible is so explicit. It said he was thrown
-
in that mug and it was dry. It hurt. As
-
they sat down to eat their meal. Wait a minute.
-
Wait.
-
Wait.
-
You can't just read the Bible. You got to read
-
the Bible. This Bible just said they threw that man
-
in a pit and sat down to eat like nothing happened.
-
They looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming
-
from Gilead. The camels were loaded, spices, balm, and myrrh.
-
And they were on their way to take them down
-
to Egypt. Judah, ain't you glad I praised the speaker
-
for you? Judah said to his brothers, what will we
-
gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood? Come,
-
let's sell him to the... Ishmaelites and not lay our
-
hands on him. After all, he is our brother, our
-
own flesh and blood. His brothers agreed. Got a message
-
from God for you to close out V5. Simply entitled,
-
Blood on the Lines. Do me a favor. Turn to
-
three people and tell them there's blood on the line.
-
There's blood on the line. There's blood on the line.
-
There's blood on the line. There's blood on the line.
-
Lord Jesus, breathe on your word. I decrease, you increase.
-
Bless this church. Bless these leaders. Bless this word. Remind
-
us that there's blood on the line. In Jesus' name, amen.
-
If you're excited for a word on your way down,
-
give them a good praise. Come on, church. There's blood
-
on the line. Remember, you were born to bless your bloodline.
-
There's blood on the line. Remember, it's in your DNA.
-
It's in there. You were blood. There's blood on the line. Remember,
-
you got work to do. There's blood on the line. Remember,
-
there's stains on your story. There's blood on the line.
-
Ladies and gentlemen, this is not the hour to be passive.
-
It's not the hour to be a bench warming Christian.
-
It's not the hour for you to relax and just
-
go with the flow. It's not the hour for cruise control.
-
This is the hour where there is an urgency on
-
your anointing. I came to remind you as a brother
-
that you were born for purpose, on purpose, and you
-
were born created, fearfully and wonderfully made to be a disruptor.
-
This is why you never fit in, Joseph, because you
-
ain't like them and they ain't like us. God created
-
you differently to break some things, to disrupt some things,
-
to disturb some things. There's something on you that you
-
didn't give yourself. And so I came to challenge you
-
that you cannot make a pit out of your pity party.
-
And keep feeling sorry for your story. As a matter
-
of fact, I believe there's at least two narratives to
-
every story. I believe this in my heart. And I
-
believe that you don't write every script, but God do
-
empower you to name the genre. Come on, Netflix. And
-
too many times we look at our story and we
-
call it a horror film. And I'm not saying there's
-
not trauma. And I'm not saying there's not tragic events
-
that occurred. And I'm not saying that you went through
-
some stuff that's unfair. But I am saying, is that
-
the only genre you could come up with? I don't
-
look at my story and call it a horror film.
-
It's a rom-com. It's a chick flick. It is a
-
story of romance. And so is yours. Let me prove
-
it to you. There was a king. Excuse me. There
-
is a king. Who got up off his throne, disrobed
-
himself of majesty and entered into this nasty dust flesh
-
in order to redeem our ratchet behinds. That he thought
-
enough of you to come rescue you. Before there was
-
an old man that was rescuing his daughter in that
-
movie Taken. This man was 89 going and kicking the
-
butt of all these people. Before him, there was a God.
-
There is a God who left heaven. Do you hear this?
-
To come and find you and redeem you. You have
-
to take control of your narrative. It reminds me, a
-
few years ago, I was in Pittsburgh on tour with Elevation,
-
probably eight years ago, and we stopped while we were
-
on tour, and I had a friend that lives up there,
-
and he invited me out to get some wings. And
-
so I went to get some wings, lemon pepper flats.
-
Come on, black people. And while I was eating my
-
wings and dipping them into ranch, there's only one way
-
to eat them. Some of y'all need to be delivered
-
from Androids and blue cheese. It's just both of them,
-
they go together. Was dipping a flat lemon pepper Into
-
some ranch. It got to be flat because there's some
-
meat in between them two little bones. Dipping and eating.
-
My friend looks at me and he says, Travis, I
-
was thinking, when we served at that church together many
-
years ago, they did you wrong. They underpaid you. He said,
-
they gave you $ 100 a week. And you was like Joseph,
-
you was number two in command. You did everything. They
-
took advantage of you. I bet now they like, man,
-
if only we knew that was Travis in the audience.
-
He's just talking, talking. He don't mean no harm. But
-
sometimes love can be a liability. And I remember, I
-
put that wing down. I said, I'm coming back for you.
-
Don't worry. I'm going to finish. Quit leaving meat on
-
your bones when you're eating wings. That's the most offensive thing.
-
That chicken died. Legless chicken and you just half of it.
-
That is, I'm sorry. I just, that thing just. So
-
I'm coming back. I told my friend, I said, hey man,
-
I hear what you're saying. I said, but that's not
-
my narrative. Charles, I said, I don't see it as
-
them taking advantage of me. I see it as my
-
opportunity to sow. And that wasn't a season of earning.
-
It was a season of learning. You get to name
-
the genre. You can call your past tough or you
-
can call it training. You can call it a loss
-
or you can call it a lesson. You could call
-
that a breakup or you could call it a breakthrough.
-
And I have decided not to allow no devil, no cousin,
-
no godmama, no professor, no therapist to name my narrative. No, no, no.
-
There is a good God that stepped into a bad situation.
-
I'm not in denial. I'm just saying it didn't take
-
me under. Is there anybody in this room that ain't
-
too bougie to clap your hands and thank God? But
-
he didn't leave you where you were. And this was Joseph.
-
His brothers tried to name the Gemra. They tried to
-
name the narrative. And they said, oh, man, man, what
-
we did was dirty. We realize it now. Of course
-
you do. But then you ain't want me now. He said,
-
we threw you in a pit and we sold you
-
into slavery. You went to prison, man. You've been through
-
so much. And we're just so sorry, man. What we
-
did was just terrible. And we just, don't kill us.
-
That's really what they were trying to say. They literally
-
told him this. They said, Daddy said before he died
-
to tell you. This is in Genesis 50. This is
-
a true story. Daddy told us to tell you before
-
he died not to kill us. Now, y'all lying. Because
-
daddy actually was, he was passing out blessings. I mean,
-
he was dissing out blessings before he died. But when
-
you left his last word, he was like, tell him
-
not to kill y'all. That never happened, brothers. And Joseph
-
cut him off. I like this. Genesis 50, verse 20.
-
Watch what your Bible says. He says, as for you,
-
you meant evil against me. But God meant it for good.
-
To bring it about that many people should be kept
-
alive as they are today. I'm not going to give
-
you control of my narrative. And Joseph had a revelation.
-
Watch this. That God's will is his priority. And often
-
the will of God, if you live long enough, will
-
place you in predicaments that you'd rather avoid. This is
-
why we must pray, thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
-
Even Jesus is in the garden, and he says, man,
-
I don't really want this, but nevertheless, not my will,
-
but your will be done. The question is, whose will
-
will you yield to? And God's will is his priority.
-
Let's talk about Joseph just a little bit. The dreamer's
-
gift is growing. And I know his gift is growing
-
because he only tells his brothers half of it because
-
that's all God showed him. He tells them, he tells them,
-
I had a dream. And my sheaf grew, right? And
-
all y'all sheafs bowed down to me. Brother was like,
-
we about to east side stump you. Who is you
-
talking to? He said, oh, that ain't the only dream.
-
I had another dream. It was sun, moon, and stars.
-
And all y'all bowed down to me. And now Jacob
-
get offended. He like, you naughty head. Who is you
-
talking to? But this was only half the dream. It
-
was half the dream. Because What he forgot is that
-
plants always grow down before they grow up.
-
Why are you spending your energy, your effort, your prayers,
-
your worship, your time, your tears trying to break something
-
that was already broken on the cross.
-
Victory, victory, victory.
-
I am afraid that we are using catchy language.
-
Victory, victory, victory. And it's putting us in.
-
Cycles under pressure that the Savior.
-
Already paid for. I need to admonish you to watch
-
your word.
-
You do not have the ability to do what Jesus did.
-
There is nothing in your mind, ideas, or conscious behavior
-
that can break all the seriousness that the people have
-
done in your family.
-
It's your time to be in here. I can say
-
it wasn't for the blood of Jesus. If it wasn't
-
for Jesus....
-
And this is somebody that's about to bust the devil
-
in the head. Will you get on your feet and
-
welcome to.
-
V5 Conference, Pastor Roosevelt. Salvation. It's in there. Right through.
-
It's enough. He tried me all week. I gave him
-
a pass. But today is the day I get my
-
lick back. I just need 30 people that's ready to
-
ride with me. I've been made to multiply. It's just
-
in me to do it. I can replenish whenever I'm ready.
-
It's just in me to do it. I was designed
-
to do it. It's just in me to do it.
-
It's just in me to do it. We are a
-
holy nation.
-
If he can really do what we believe he says
-
he can do, friend, you've got to live.
-
And you've got to live like you believe that book
-
is true. And you've got to live like there's still
-
hope for tomorrow.
-
And you've got to live like when you die, you're
-
going to step on streets of gold. And you've got
-
to live like you know you're going to see your
-
grandmama one day. And you've got to live like you
-
know your kids got a purpose. And you've got to
-
live like you know there's fire shut up in your bones.
-
And you've got to live like there is.
-
A king of kings and lord of lords. You've got
-
to live. You've got to do the thing that they
-
say is crazy. You've got to step out. Whatever it
-
is that God.
-
Has placed on the inside of you, you have to
-
take a step.
-
So if you never step, you never get the story.
-
And if you don't get the story, people never see
-
the Savior. Because your pride has kept you so small.
-
And your insecurity has kept you so small. And your
-
people-pleasing has kept you so small. and your ego has
-
kept you so small.
-
You have been awoken today with courage and purpose on
-
the inside of you.
-
It's in every fiber of your being. And you shall
-
continue to change this generation. There's an anointing not only
-
in your story, there's an anointing in the stains in
-
your story. Just like the ice cream.
-
Seeing that God doesn't skip over the stains in your
-
life to.
-
Give you an anointing. As a matter of fact, that's
-
exactly where he extracts it from. that's gonna wake me
-
up every morning and I got another shot. I got
-
another shot to find his joy. I got another shot
-
to find his love. I love you! He already took
-
care of the curse. So now we have to replace
-
the lies with the truth.
-
Dead man walking, I was far from home Went my
-
own way.
-
Like a prodigal Tried everything, still hollow Came back to myself,
-
now I know You You.
-
Need to know that that was just the beginning. We
-
are already planning to have God meet us right back here,
-
June 16th, 17th, and 18th for version six. And I
-
believe you're supposed to be there.
-
If you're watching this and you.
-
Feel that I want you to go and click this
-
QR code and purchase your tickets right now.
-
And the best thing is there.
-
Are a hundred dollars off for the early bird special.
-
This is your moment.
-
You need to get your tickets. I'll see you at
-
V6 Transformation Conference.
-
So he saw the harvest, but not the hardship. He
-
saw the promise, but not the process. And isn't that
-
just like God? That he'll show you enough at conference
-
to get you excited. You're like, I'm going to do it. No,
-
I'm going to do it. I got crazy faith. I'm
-
going to do it. He'll set you up and you
-
have no idea when you get there, the warfare that's
-
against you. Bad news, but good news. Greater is he
-
that's in you than he that's in the world. That
-
if God sets you up, he'll back you up. Who
-
am I talking to in this room? And here is Joseph.
-
He finds himself in a pit. This pit would have been...
-
At minimum around 10 feet. But it could have been
-
up to 15, 20 feet. Dry. Pit. But it falls
-
in there. He's begging them to get out. Imagine. They're
-
your brothers. Throwing you. Some of your family have put
-
you in pits before. Throwing you in a pit. There's
-
no way out. Have you ever been in a pit?
-
And I'm talking about you're so deep that the only
-
thing that can get you out of this pit, this
-
pit of despair, this pit of depression, this pit of addiction,
-
the only thing that can grab and pull you out
-
is mercy. And this is your boy Joseph. He finds
-
himself in this pit. And the pit don't look like
-
the promise. I call it an oxymoron season. It's when
-
what you heard don't match what you see. An oxymoron season.
-
I believe if you're called, and I do believe you're called,
-
you will have to endure. You will have to survive.
-
You will have to outlive and outlast an oxymoron season.
-
Noah built an ark, but no rain, oxymoron. Genesis says
-
that this guy, Abraham, Was going to have many nations.
-
But yet the Bible says. His stuff didn't work no more. Oxymoron. David.
-
Is anointed king. By this weird man named Samuel. Just
-
show up to his house pouring oil all over him.
-
And yet he spent all of his twenties. On the
-
run as a fugitive. Oxymoron. Jesus. Is supposed to be.
-
The savior of the world. He's walking on water. He's
-
raising the dead. He's giving sight to the blind. But
-
yet he is dead and stiff laying in a tomb
-
for three days. Oxy moron. Have you ever been in
-
a situation that didn't make no sense? It didn't add up.
-
And it just didn't match what God showed you. But
-
whenever you're in a situation that don't match, don't worry.
-
It's no match for the God who is able to
-
do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask, think, or imagine.
-
Here's the good news about your oxymoron season. The God
-
you serve is Alpha and Omega. His Omega-ness exempts him
-
from surprises. Because he's at the end, he sees everything
-
you will face even before you get there. And your
-
God is so good, he's so bad, he's so big,
-
that even before you walk into a situation, he has
-
a plan already in store for it. I don't know
-
if you're in a season in this room or watching online,
-
and things just don't make sense. You're saying, God, this
-
marriage don't look like what you told me. This ministry
-
don't look like what you told me. This business don't
-
look like what you told me. Can I tell you something?
-
Even in your situation that looks oxymoronic, you serve a
-
God who has a plan before you have a problem.
-
He has a strategy before you have a situation. And
-
he's already made a way, my God, before the situation
-
showed up. Ask Moses. Moses was watching some Israelites out
-
of Egypt. He walked into this dead end called Aran. See,
-
it looks like an oxymoron until the Bible said there
-
was a wind that came through. Oh, lift your hands.
-
I feel like there's a wind that's about to come through.
-
There's a wind that's about to come through. There's a
-
wind that's about to come through. There's a wind that's
-
about to come through. The Lord is about to make
-
a way where there is no way. I need you
-
to look at Jericho's wall and look at your God.
-
and know that there's a wind that's about to come through.
-
He is not surprised by what you are facing. And
-
even in your situation that looks oxymoronic, He has a plan. See,
-
crazy faith is only necessary when the circumstances are not tomorrow.
-
For example, a few years ago, there was a church
-
that had a conference in this very arena. And after
-
the conference, the pastor prayed and God said, oh, you
-
weren't just renting this for the conference. I've actually anointed
-
you Called you to buy this. Don't you remember what
-
you wrote in Bella's closet? The pastor said, I hear you,
-
but I ain't got no resources. I ain't even got
-
no sound system. We rented the sound system. I ain't
-
got enough team to handle this type of promise. It
-
ain't crazy faith until you look around and say, God,
-
if you don't do it. God, if you don't bring
-
the sound. God, if you don't bring the band. God,
-
if you don't bring the staff. God, if you don't
-
bring the harvest. And I wonder, is there anybody in
-
this room that says, God, right here in the middle
-
of the valley. Right here in the middle of the trial.
-
Right here in the situation. I will trust you. Even
-
when it don't add up. It's the word that keeps you.
-
My God. Even when your situation looks like an oxymoron.
-
But when there is a paradox that you want to
-
try to help God out with, you'll create unnecessary problems.
-
Ask Abraham. He got a word from God, but it
-
don't work. And then it's almost as if God touched him,
-
but don't touch Sarah. And she start working, but Sarah
-
not working. And Sarah say, this is an oxymoron. She said,
-
so what I want you to do is go get
-
the slave girl, Hagar. He said, who? The black girl, Hagar.
-
And try to work it out with her. And Abraham says,
-
I don't want to. Oh, I guess so. I mean, if.
-
Careful, Abe. Why don't you go black? Abe go in
-
the tent. Nine months later, Abe walk out with a
-
mixed baby. Jewish and black. Ishmael is his name. Ishmael
-
didn't ask to be here. He was a product of
-
man trying to manipulate what he didn't have enough crazy
-
faith to trust God with. And here's Ishmael. He's about
-
13 years older than Isaac. Eventually the promised baby comes.
-
The Bible says that it's two-year-old party, weaning party. It's
-
out there hitting the pinata doing the cha-cha slide. Right foot,
-
now stop. And then Ishmael, this is what the Bible say,
-
started mocking Isaac. Look at him. He bow-legged. He eat
-
drumsticks and he got an android. Blue cheese. He mocking. Sarah.
-
Sarah must have been from Broken Arrow or somewhere. She said,
-
wait a minute. She said, what we not going to do.
-
I had a black lady on her child talking about
-
my child. She said, both of them got to go.
-
Abraham is distraught. He is upset. He's like, because although
-
Ishmael ain't Sarah's son, Ishmael is still his son. He
-
gets upset. He says, man, that's my boy. And the
-
Lord speaks to Abraham. And the Lord says, let him go. Ah,
-
that's somebody's word right there. Release it. He belonged to
-
me more than he belonged to you. Release him. The
-
Lord says, release him. I'm going to take care of him.
-
So Abraham let him go. And I asked the book
-
questions as I was studying this week. I started asking
-
the book questions. I said, God, this ain't right. This
-
is unfair. First of all, Ishmael didn't ask to be here.
-
Second of all, why would you allow him to be
-
put out? And God reminded me that his will is
-
his priority. And he's a God that can name the narrative.
-
So either it's chaos or it's choreographed. I said, God,
-
why would you let Ishmael go? That's all I came
-
to say. God says, I let Ishmael go. Because 165
-
years later, there will be a man named Joseph who's
-
stuck in a pit. And the only people... Who would
-
get him out? Other Ishmaelites. Did you hear what I
-
just said? God saw ahead of time and said, I'm
-
going to let you release him right now because I'm
-
going to use him in the future. Grab your neighbor
-
and tell him God got a plan. He got a plan.
-
He got a plan. There's blood on the line. He
-
got a plan. He got a plan. He got a plan.
-
There's blood on the line. And the Bible says, Can
-
you see this? Ishmael's seed preserves Isaac's seed. The problem
-
child saves the promise child. You don't get to choose
-
who God decides to use. That's why you got to
-
be careful how you disqualify people. Tell your neighbor, you
-
don't know. You don't know. You don't know if you're
-
going to need me tomorrow. You might be signing my
-
check today, and I'm signing yours tomorrow. Be careful how
-
you treat me. Be careful how you dismiss me. Be
-
careful how you release me. Be careful how you talk
-
to me. I'm looking at this, and I say, God,
-
this is messing me up. This is messing me up.
-
He said, Travis, look deeper. He said, where did I
-
send Joseph? Joseph leaves Hebron from his daddy. And he
-
goes to Shechem looking for his brothers. You get to Shechem.
-
And the men at Shechem say, your brothers ain't here.
-
They say, he in Dothan. You can't just read the Bible.
-
You got to read the Bible. The word Dothan means
-
two wells. So there's a lot happening in this text.
-
There's two wells in this text. The first well is
-
the one that Joseph is thrown into. The other well
-
is the one that God is creating in Joseph. You
-
want to escape, God wants to excavate. You want to
-
get out, God's trying to get something out of you.
-
I said, God, why were you digging something in Joseph?
-
He said, Travis, it's called capacity. Bloodline. Because Judah will
-
have the royal line, but Joseph would have the inheritance.
-
I came across a verse this past week that blew
-
my mind. It's in 1 Chronicles chapter 5. I never
1 Chronicles 5 chapter mention
-
read this before. The book says that Joseph received the birthright.
-
I said, what? Joseph received the birthright. What this means
-
is is that Joseph got a double portion. Which makes
-
sense that he has Ephraim and Manasseh, two elves. And
-
the Bible says that Jacob adopts them as his own son.
-
Crosses over his hands and anoints them. The whole time
-
Joseph was in this pit, God saw double. I don't
-
know who need to receive this word. I ain't trying
-
to rap. You see trouble, he see double. Tell your neighbor,
-
double is coming after this. Come here, Joe. Double is
-
coming after this. They that sow in tears will reap
-
in joy. Double is coming after this. Yo, we've been
-
maying doing for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
-
Double is coming after this. You've been trusting, you've been praying,
-
you've been fasting. Double is coming after this. Having done
-
all the ten, you keep standing, you lift up your
-
head on your Thanks be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors,
-
and the King of glory shall come in. Double. It's
-
after this. Tell your neighbor, expect double. Expect double. He
-
told me to tell you. He told me to tell
-
you in all caps. Have no fear. Help is coming.
-
Watch the Bible. I looked up. how far Hebron was
-
from Dothan. I went to a very trustworthy place, the concordance,
-
called Chat GPT. And it said, Hebron to Dothan, if
-
it's a lie, Chat told it. It's 60 miles. It
-
would have took Joseph about four days to get to Dothan.
-
Then out of interest, I looked up how far Gilead
-
was from Dothan Gilead is 60 miles it would have
-
took the Ishmaelites about four days to get to Dothan
-
can you see it while Joseph is walking to a
-
pit he has no idea that on the other side
-
he walking north but walking west Or the Ishmaelites. I
-
came all the way to Tulsa to tell you help
-
is on the way. Provision is on the way. Everything
-
that you need is on the way. Abraham, you go
-
up that mountain. Aram is coming up on the other side.
-
God is sending help your way. You just be faithful.
-
You just be faithful. You just be faithful. Help is on.
-
High five your neighbor. Tell him here comes the help.
-
Here comes the help. He's in a pit. And a caravan,
-
my God, is coming up the other way. It reminded
-
me of another story that happened in Dothan. There's another
-
story in Dothan for my Bible people. In Dothan, there
-
was a prophet named Elisha. He's chilling at the house
-
one day. And this army comes to get him. Dothan.
-
The Bible says they surround, the army surrounds the city
-
of Dothan. The city of Dothan in circumference is 25 miles.
-
To surround 25 miles takes about a thousand foot soldiers
-
and about a hundred chariots. All it is for one man.
-
The force against you is an indication to the force
-
in you. When God wants to affirm the anointing on
-
your life, I'm about to turn up. He's going to
-
send attack. When God wants to give you confirmation, don't
-
look for candy. Look for attack. Look for conflict. It
-
is a compliment from heaven. Hey, that you've been trusted
-
with warfare. Elisha comes out. He sees this army, Pastor Mike.
-
But his servant, watch out who hang around you. His
-
servant got Travis syndrome. What Travis syndrome is, I like
-
to hang around people like Roosevelt. Because Roosevelt from Florida,
-
he's like, bust your head, head buster, all that stuff. Ascender,
-
I'm telling you, Ascender. I like to be around them
-
type of people. Because I got Travis syndrome. Travis syndrome
-
is simply this. I ain't getting punched in the face
-
for nobody. I tell my wife, if something go down,
-
beat me to the car because somebody got to live
-
to tell their story. May the force be with you.
-
That's Travis syndrome. I'm not getting punched in the face
-
for my kids, for my mama. For my pastor, lovely
-
Pastor Matt. I'm not getting punched in the face for nobody.
-
A servant just like me. Come outside, blonde tips, red shoes.
-
He said, hey, Elisha, it's Army. Bruh, we finna die.
-
Elisha got so much swag. He just walk out laughing.
-
He like Bishop Gary. He just like, ha ha. Just swag.
-
It's a very quick prayer. He said, Lord, open his eyes.
-
The Bible says, when the servant looks up again, oh God,
-
tell your neighbor, look again, look again, look again. Come on,
-
that's the wrong neighbor. Tell somebody, look again, look up again.
-
You've been looking at the wrong thing. You've been staring
-
at that diagnosis. You've been staring at that transcript. You've
-
been staring at that criminal record. Look again, look again.
-
Your Bible says, when the servant, the same servant who
-
was scurred, looked again, he saw an army From heaven,
-
he saw a caravan surrounded what was sent to take
-
them out. Can I tell you there's an army fighting
-
on your behalf? There's blood on the line. The Lord
-
told me to tell you, he's not just sending help.
-
Watch this. He says, but the help he's sending won't
-
come empty handed. The Bible says the Ishmaelites came with
-
the camels loaded. Loaded with myrrh, spices, and balm. Myrrh, spices,
-
and balm. Myrrh, spices, and balm. Myrrh is the anointing. Spices, fragrance. Balm, healing.
-
It was Jeremiah that said, is there no balm in Gilead?
-
Where did the Israelites come from? Gilead. Here they go,
-
carrying a healing balm, not knowing that they're about to
-
have an appointment with a wounded soldier who's in the pit.
-
Can I tell you, God is going to bring everything
-
that you need. He's bringing everything you need. Your help
-
is coming, and they're not coming empty-handed. God's priority is
-
his will. God's priority is his will. So, JoJo... I
-
know this season ain't fun for you. And I know
-
you in the pit. I wish I could climb back
-
there with you. I don't want to hurt myself. I'm
-
42 now. But you can see it. He in the pit.
-
This good enough. He in the pit. Can't get himself out. God,
-
this ain't fair. God, you didn't show me this. You
-
showed me the harvest. You didn't show me this. You
-
told me to move to Tulsa. You didn't say it
-
was going to be hard. You told me it's better
-
to marry than to burn. But man, burning really sounds
-
good right now. I'm in this pit. Hey, Jojo, if
-
you don't get in that pit, the Ishmaelites don't get
-
you out. If the Ishmaelites don't get you out, you
-
don't catch the Uber Camel. If you don't catch the
-
uber camel, you don't spend 10 years at Potiphar's house
-
learning Egyptian language and culture. If you don't spend 10
-
years at Potiphar's house, Potiphar's ratchet wife don't set you up.
-
If she don't falsely accuse you, you don't get to prison.
-
If you don't get to prison, you don't interpret the dream.
-
If you don't interpret the dream, then the famine that
-
I see coming 20 years after your pit... is going
-
to wipe out your bloodline. So excuse me, Joseph, if
-
you've got to endure this pit for this season, but
-
you were blessed. You were born to bless your bloodline.
-
It's in your DNA. Excuse me if you've got to
-
go through this, but God's got work to do through you,
-
and it's going to be a shame on your story,
-
but I'm going to turn your story for my glory.
-
Grab your praying partners and tell them you're coming out
-
of this. You're coming out of this, sir. You're coming
-
out of this, sir. You're coming out of this. If
-
you don't have this temporary season, the famine will wipe
-
out your bloodline. Now, that don't sound like much, because
-
maybe you don't know who's in his bloodline. The third
-
son's name is Levi.
-
Levi.
-
If Levi died in the famine, there's no Moses. If
-
there's no Moses, y'all going to be stuck in Egypt.
-
But not just Levi. The fourth son's name is Judah.
-
And if there's no Judah, Rahab don't meet her husband.
-
If Rahab don't meet her husband, there is no Boaz.
-
If there's no Boaz... There is no Obed. If there's
-
no Obed, there is no Jesse. If there's no Jesse,
-
there is no David. If there's no David, there is
-
no Solomon. If there's no Solomon, there is no Jesus.
-
God is using you to bring revival to your whole bloodline.
-
You were born to bless your bloodline. You got 10 seconds.
-
Lift your hands. Lift your hands and praise him like
-
you know he's bringing you out of this. He's going
-
to use what the enemy meant for evil and turn
-
it for your good. You're coming out of this. You're
-
coming out of this. You're coming out of this. There
-
is blood on the line. These light and momentary affliction
-
are not worthy. This pit ain't worthy to be compared.
-
The glory shall be revealed. Tell your neighbor it's temporary.
-
You're looking at a pit. God's looking at a bloodline.
-
I said, you're looking at a pit. God's looking at
-
a bloodline. You're looking at marital strife. God's looking at
-
a bloodline. You're looking at debt. God's looking at a bloodline.
-
You're looking at depression. God's looking at a bloodline. Don't
-
allow your offense to rob you of the offering. God
-
has a bloodline in mind. And so, I was thinking,
-
what up, Sean? Man, him on a plane yesterday invited him.
-
He brought his whole family. And Sean has been through
-
so much over the past few years. The Lord rerouted
-
my whole trip. So I could sit next to this
-
man and encourage him. He said, I'm sorry, I know
-
you're tired. You've been up all night. I said, no, no, no, no, no, no.
-
I'll stay awake for this. Because you don't know what's
-
in your bloodline. You got to be careful. When you
-
leave Transformation Conference, you be talking to strangers. You be
-
praying for anybody. Everybody getting this old. I was thinking
-
about the story I heard about in the 70s. It
-
was this young black girl, and the story says that
-
she made really good coffee. That's all she did. She
-
made this coffee, and her teacher loved the coffee so
-
much that the teacher made her stay back another year.
-
not because she failed a test, not because she had
-
behavior issues, but just because she made good coffee. The
-
little girl got depressed and sad. At age 12, she
-
gave her life to God. At age 16, she started preaching.
-
When she was in high school, she led a revival
-
in her high school and would pray over the intercom
-
every day. She met a guy. They decided to go
-
to the same college, and they ended up at the
-
same college.
-
And on the.
-
Doorsteps of the dormitory that God proposed to her, It's
-
her first ever boyfriend. She had saved herself for marriage.
-
She marries this guy. The only reason she met the
-
guy is because she stayed back. And the only reason
-
she got held back is because of good coffee. But
-
if it wasn't for the good coffee, and if it
-
wasn't for getting held back, and if it wasn't for
-
meeting this guy, and if it wasn't for going to
-
college together, and if it wasn't for saving herself for marriage,
-
there would be no Travis. So excuse me, mama, that
-
you had to go through that in the 70s. I'm
-
so sorry. But I don't apologize for that teacher. I
-
don't apologize for that trauma. Because God saw your bloodline.
-
He said, I got to get Kim, Travis, and Shalonda
-
in the earth. So whatever it takes to set you up,
-
whatever it takes to align you for purpose, whatever it takes,
-
I got bloodline in mind. I'm done. Five places the
-
blood must hit. Five places the blood must hit. Blood
-
on the line. Number one, blood on the robe. Blood
-
on the robe. Blood on the robe. The Bible says
-
in Genesis 37, 31, the Joseph robe was dipped in blood.
-
Which means in order for there to be blood, something
-
had to die. It reminds me of Abraham trying to
-
cover himself in fig leaves. And God says, no, no, no, no, no.
-
Leaves can't cover. I'm going to cover you in a tunic,
-
animal skin. Something has to die. First thing the blood
-
gives you is a covering. Next place that the blood
-
got to get, blood on the seat. The seat. Leviticus
-
says in 16, 15, the blood would be sprinkled on
-
And sprinkled before the mercy seat. The seat represents mercy.
-
So this is not a coincidence how Joseph ends up
-
in the right seat. He's the one to give mercy.
-
If I had time, I'll talk about how there's a
-
seat waiting for you to mature enough to be able
-
to distribute mercy. The mercy seat represents safety. The third one,
-
blood on the ground. Bible says in Genesis 4.10, Abel's
-
blood cried out to God. Blood on the ground. He says,
-
Abel's blood is crying out to me. That means that
-
blood has a voice. Blood gives me stability. Blood on
-
the ground. The next one, blood on the door. Exodus 12, 13.
-
It says something about to hit Egypt. It's going to
-
be ugly. A lot of people are going to die.
-
But I need you to get blood. Put it on
-
your doorpost. It says, and when I see the blood,
-
I will pass. Now, I know we're new school. We
-
got skinny jeans and lights and good sound. But it's
-
something about the old saints. They used to say, God,
-
cover them under the blood. You don't even know. The
-
only reason your bougie tell in church today is because
-
somebody got on their knees and said, God, cover my baby.
-
Cover my grandbaby. Cover my niece. Cover my nephew. Under
-
the blood. Blood on the door. Access. Coming and going.
-
Bible says in John 10, 19, 10, 9, Jesus says,
-
I am the door. You got to see it. Last one,
-
blood on the wood. Colossians 1, 20. He says that
-
there's peace through the blood of his cross. My God.
-
The blood paid for our peace. Our salvation. The rope.
-
The seat. The ground. The door.
-
The wood.
-
The rope. The seat. The ground. The door. The wood.
-
The robe. The person. The seat. Worship. The ground. Foundation.
-
The door. Entrance and exit. The wood. Framing. Wait a minute.
-
The robe. Person. Seat. The foundation. Foundation. The door and
-
the framing. God trying to tell you that your whole
-
house is covered under the blood. Grab your praise partner
-
and tell him, ask for me and my house. We
-
will serve the Lord. My whole house is covered. All
-
my children, even the bad ones, covered. My parents, my cousins,
-
everybody with my last name, everybody with my DNA is covered.
-
My bloodline is covered under the blood. I was thinking,
-
I was thinking, thinking, can I have five more minutes?
-
I was thinking how I grew up in the 90s
-
and there's a lot of young people here. When you
-
grew up, you grew up in the cell phone era.
-
Which tells me you don't know nothing about struggle. You
-
don't know. You ain't been through enough, baby girl. Because
-
when we grew up and we didn't have a cell phone,
-
we used to call a landline. I'm not proud of
-
my past, but some say I was a True player
-
from the Himalayas when I was 12 years old. And
-
some seasons I would date a soprano and an alto
-
as a musician. And we'd be talking to him on
-
the phone. And my mom, it's like Mama Ty, she'll
-
yell up, says, Travis! And she'll call me by my
-
ghetto middle name. Montorius! I still can't spell my middle name.
-
I'm 42. I'm 42. Get off the phone. You're tying
-
up the line. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I came to
-
make an announcement. The next time, the devil comes. your phone.
-
The next time, anxiety calls your phone. The next time,
-
sickness calls your phone. The next time, depression calls your phone.
-
Let the devil know, my line is all tied up.
-
There's blood on the line. No, I can't take this
-
booty call. There's blood on the line. No, I ain't
-
coming over there. There's blood on the line. No, I
-
ain't going back to that. No, I ain't smoking that. No,
-
I ain't drinking that. There's blood on. Grab your neighbor
-
and tell him, my line's tied up. My line's tied up.
-
We out. This is it. This is it. Joseph is it.
-
Joseph is stripped. That's what the Bible says. Taken and
-
thrown in a pit. He's stripped. They take his coat,
-
but they can't take his favor. He's stripped. Stripped. Taken
-
and thrown in a pit. Can't help but remind you
-
of Jesus who was stripped. Blood on the road. Take it.
-
Arrest it in the garden. And lay it in the
-
borrowed tomb. It's Friday. And we're going on this cross.
-
We've been singing about the blood. Don't ever get too
-
fancy that you forget the power of the blood. God,
-
help us to be emotional again about the blood. Help
-
us to be overwhelmed at the sacrifice it took for
-
us to be covered. And the only reason we're in
-
church today is because the veil was torn. From top
-
to bottom. And it happened when the Jewish rabbi named
-
Jesus hung on this cross. Bleeding. Suffocating in his own blood.
-
Nailed innocently on this cross. It's heartbeat. Forgive them for
-
they know not what they do. And then he flatlined.
-
The Bible says... that Abel's blood cries out. So if
-
the blood of Abel got a voice, how powerful must
-
it be for the greater Abel, for the one who's
-
more than Abel? He hung from that cross and they
-
laid him in the tomb. But early on Sundays, the
-
blood started speaking up. Even though he flatlined, there was
-
blood on the line. And as he laid there, they
-
thought he was dead. They thought it was over. But
-
he got up and he didn't get up empty handed.
-
He got up with all power in his hand because
-
there was blood on the line. Grab your neighbor and
-
tell them there's blood on the line. There's blood on
-
the line. There's blood on the line. There's blood on it.
-
He got up with all power. And the Bible says,
-
I promise, I'm out right here. This is it. The
-
Bible says Nicodemus covered him in myrrh, the anointing. And
-
the Bible says that the women came to the tomb
-
carrying spices. Myrrh, spices. I asked the book questions. I said,
-
I see the myrrh. I see the spices. But where's
-
the balm? And the Lord said, you big dummy. They
-
didn't have to bring balm. Because his blood was the balm.
-
Isaiah said he was wounded for our transgressions. He was
-
bruised for our iniquity. The chastisement of our peace was
-
a point of. And with his strength. I am healed.
-
His blood is the ball. His blood is the counselor.
-
His blood is the medication. His blood is the picture.
-
His blood covers. It still works. Grab your prayer partner.
-
We're going home. Tell him the blood still works. The
-
blood still works. The blood still works. There's blood. There's
-
blood on the line. And even in your pit, Joseph,
-
Hear me. Blood speaks up for you. Blood speaks up
-
for you. I came to serve your notice that you're
-
under arrest. And God has his own Miranda rights. He says,
-
when I save you, you have the right not to
-
remain silent. That's why I got to praise. Anything you
-
don't say will be used against you in the court
-
of heaven. You have the right to an attorney, but
-
since you couldn't afford one, I provided one for you.
-
He stands on the right hand of the Father making
-
intercession for you. Blood's peace for you. When you should
-
have lost your mind, blood's book for you. When you
-
should have gave up, blood's book for you. I need
-
100 people and a 15-year-old that ain't too sadida to
-
praise them. So throw your hands up. Throw your hand
-
back and tell him, thank you. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
-
Thank you for the blood. What can wash away my sins?
-
What can make me whole again?
-
Nothing.
-
But the blood speaks for me. It speaks a better word.
-
It speaks a better word. I'm out. One prayer. Well,
-
two wells. One prayer for healing. Next prayer for salvation. Yes.
-
If you were in this room, you have a physical illness, sickness.
-
I want you in this moment to lift both hands.
-
Blood speaks for you, mama. Ask me how I know.
-
Because I was pronounced dead at the age of four.
-
Doctor said there was nothing they could do. I flatlined.
-
But blood spoke for me. Told my mom when we
-
were leaving the hospital. I said, I remember what happened.
-
I said, I fell four floors out of that German window.
-
I said, but right before I hit the ground, a
-
man with a big hand caught me. I said, I
-
couldn't see his face. It was too bright, but I
-
heard a voice. I said, do you want to go
-
home with your mom or come with me? I said,
-
I want my mom. He said, this time you're going
-
with her. Next time you're coming with me. Blood spoke
-
up for me. My wife's water broke at 21 weeks.
-
She gave birth to my made-away baby at 28 weeks.
-
It was two pounds, 10 ounces. They kept him in
-
the NICU for two months, in the NICU. And I
-
watched him lay there twice. He flatlined. They have to
-
give him a blood transfusion multiple times. But I believe.
-
It wasn't just a normal blood transfusion. I believe God
-
was doing something in his bloodline. Lift your hands. I
-
pray for a blood transfusion. I've seen it work. And
-
I'm not talking about something that's going to happen later.
-
I'm talking about a right now miracle. Help is coming.
-
And it ain't coming empty handed. Pray in the spirit.
-
Come on, begin to pray. I believe the healer can
-
touch you right now. With his stripes, you are already. God,
-
I thank you for healing supernaturally in this room and
-
around the world. And people watching all around this country
-
and all around the world. Right where you are, unless
-
you're driving, lift your hands. Healing. Healing. Miracles, science, hey, wonder, blood,
-
do what you do. Hey, hey, hey, hey, blood, do
-
what you do. Blood, do what you do. Redeemed, do
-
what you do. Saved, do what you do. Restored, do
-
what you do. Healed, do what you do. Now, for
-
those who just got healed, watch this. I want you
-
to do what you couldn't do a moment later. If
-
it was shoulder pain, test it. Healed. Leg pain tested.
-
Healed.
-
Back pain tested. Healed. If you're in this room and
-
God just did a miracle, I'm not playing. If you
-
feel different already, give him a praise. Like, you know,
-
the blood's still working. I'm telling you, it's still working.
-
I want you to email us at transformation. Let us
-
know what God did for you in this conference. The
-
healing that's happened in your life. Lastly, you're in this
-
room or watching around the world, you don't know this Savior.
-
you're saying yo I'm in a pit and I need
-
someone to lift me out tell me he's greater than
-
and it's my life his name is Jesus the Savior
-
of the world he's going to redeem your bloodline but
-
it starts with you saying yes To the God who
-
flatlined for you. We're counting to three. Hands are going
-
to go up around this room and around the world.
-
As a sign of saying, I want Jesus. I learned
-
something from my brother, Pastor Mike. I used to do this.
-
I used to tell people to close their eyes. And
-
then he corrected it. He said, no, don't close your eyes.
-
Open your eyes. Sounds like Elisha. Open your eyes. You
-
ain't got nothing to be ashamed of. We've all been
-
in a moment where we had to reach up for
-
the Savior to pull us out of the pit. And
-
you're in this room. And hear me, before anyone leaves,
-
you know you've been playing games with him. He says,
-
today is the day of your salvation. Behold, I stand
-
at the door and knock. Let him in. There's blood
-
on the door, but you got to let him in.
-
I'm going to count to three. And if that's you,
-
I want you to lift your hand like your life
-
depends on it because it does. You've been playing games
-
with God and you're saying, I'm coming home. I want
-
to give him my whole heart. No more games. I'm
-
not going to wait until I fix myself. I'm going
-
to surrender to the fixer. One, I need a savior. Two,
-
save me and be my Lord. Be my king. Be
-
my master. Three, lift it high. Lift it high. Lift
-
it high. Come on, look at Jesus. Look at Jesus
-
from the front to the back. Come on, Transformation, what
-
do we do? Come on, Transformation, what do we do?
-
Come on, TC Nation, what do we do? And somebody
-
lift up their hand, hug them. Let them know they're home.
-
Hey.
-
We're all going to pray this prayer together. Repeat after me.
-
Dear God, I admit I've made mistakes. I admit I
-
need a Savior. And I ask that you changed my heart,
-
that you changed my motives. I believe you lived. I
-
believe you died. And I believe you rose again just
-
for me. Please, Lord, change me. Renew me. Transform me.
-
I'm yours. You are mine. In Jesus' name, amen. Give
-
them a great shout. I need you to text same
-
to A2, A2, A2. I love your transformation. Give your
-
God a great praise.
