We do thank and praise God for all that he does, amen?
-
Yes. We claim that him is the head of our life, amen?
-
Some claim he's the head of their life, but they
-
still live in their own life. But we're claiming a
-
true Savior, amen? That God is the head of our life.
-
We move, we live, and we breathe because of him, amen?
-
Amen. We give our all to him.
-
Not some of us, but all of us. We give
-
all of ourselves to him. He don't want some of us.
-
He wants all of us. We made our declaration and
-
our claim that here we are, Lord, a wretch undone.
-
Save me.
-
We realized then that there was nothing we could do
-
to live a life that would please the God. And
-
we knew then it took Jesus to save our soul,
-
that we won't wind up in the devil's hell.
-
It is the devil's hell, amen. It is the devil's hell.
-
Everybody that goes to hell, they're breaking and entering, amen.
-
As I told you before, they're just breaking and entering.
-
Hell was not made for God's people. Hell was made
-
for the devil and the fallen angels. Hell was not
-
even made for those that walk around and become sinners.
-
It was made for the devil and his fallen angels.
-
God made it quite clear. Amen. You go to hell
-
because you're breaking in hell.
-
The door to heaven is wide open to those who
-
continue in righteousness.
-
Amen. Who wants to break in hell? Come on now.
-
You can't get out once you break in. Amen, somebody.
-
Let me move along. Go with me to the book
-
of St. John, chapter 11. I'm going to be as
John 11 chapter mention
-
quick as the Lord allowed me to be.
-
Say John chapter 11. And when you get there, say amen.
John 11 chapter mention
-
Say John chapter 11.
John 11 chapter mention
-
I don't always give you the verse right away, but
-
y'all start reading it. I want you to start reading it.
-
I want you to pay attention, amen. I'll let you
-
know it's in chapter.
-
11, though. Amen.
-
Let us look to the Lord. Father, we thank you
-
yet for another day, God. Truly it is a blessing, God.
-
You woke us up in our right mind, God. Gave
-
us the activities of our limbs, God. Gave us eyes
-
to see and ears to hear, mouth to speak, God,
-
in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you. So
-
many woke up but couldn't get up. But we woke up, God,
-
and we got up on your power, Lord, in the
-
name of Jesus Christ. So many don't even have hands
-
and wish that they could wave and wish that they
-
could clap. But, God, you gave them, so we're going
-
to use them to your glory. Hey, hallelujah, in the
-
name of Jesus.
-
We bless your.
-
Soul today, God, and we thank you for allowing little
-
of us to come in such a great God's presence
-
this morning in the name of Jesus. Thank you so
-
much about us, God. You love us so much, God.
-
Even teaching us how to love like you love, Father God.
-
Help us, Holy Spirit.
-
Help us.
-
Help us to be like Jesus. We don't want to
-
be like Mike. We want to be like Jesus. We
-
don't want to be like anybody but Jesus.
-
Hallelujah.
-
For Jesus never fails. And we thank you, Lord, that
-
you are that rock in our lives. We thank you, Lord,
-
that you are that healer in our lives. We thank you, Lord,
-
that you are the joy and the peace in our lives, God.
-
We come today to give you glory, give you praise.
-
We don't come for no other shape, form, or fashion.
-
It's all about you and some about us.
-
God, in the name of Jesus Christ. We come only
-
for that, God.
-
To hear a word that will help us in our
-
salvation of life.
-
A word that will keep us on the straight and narrow, Lord.
-
A word, God, that will prosper us.
-
In our soul, God. Even, God, as we prosper in
-
the life you've given us, Father. We thank you, God. God,
-
we just thank you. If we had a thousand tongues,
-
it wouldn't be enough. But all that you equipped us with,
-
we use it to your glory.
-
We give you.
-
Thanks, God. We give you praise in this house. And
-
it is in Jesus' name. And the church said, thank God.
-
Amen and amen. In the book of St. John, moving
-
right along. Chapter 11, starting at verse 21. And the
-
Bible says to the people of God, Then said Martha
-
unto Jesus, Lord, if you had been here, my brother
-
had not died.
-
Evidently, Martha didn't fully know who Jesus was.
-
But I know, she said, that even now, whosoever you are,
-
will ask of God, whatsoever you will ask of God,
-
God will give it you. She wasn't real clear, but
-
it was clear to her who Jesus was.
-
At this point.
-
Martha said unto him, I know that he shall rise again. Well,
-
let's go to 23. Jesus said, I skipped that. Unto her,
-
your brother shall rise again. And he said that very
-
plainly to her. But she misunderstood what he meant by that.
-
So she said, Martha said unto him, I know that
-
he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
-
Jesus said, you misunderstood me. He said, Jesus said unto her,
-
I am the resurrection.
-
I am the life.
-
He who believes in me, though he were dead, yet
-
shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in me
-
shall never die. She said unto him, Lord, yes, Lord,
-
I believe that you are the Christ. Now he's coming
-
into it. And gave her some understanding. I believe that
-
you are the Christ, the son of God, which should
-
come into the world. So now Martha's proclaiming her belief
-
in the Lord. Her belief now is different. The light
-
came on than it was previously.
-
You understand? Now she believes that Jesus is God. Let's
-
jump down to 33.
-
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping and the Jews also
-
weeping which came with her So a crowd came with her.
-
It was a crowd of people that came and were
-
weeping because Lazarus was.
-
A good guy. He groaned in the spirit and he
-
was troubled. He was troubled. And he said, where have
-
you lived? He was troubled So now he.
-
Ready to know where have you laid Lazarus, my friend?
-
Where have you laid him?
-
They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
-
So now they're.
-
Leading Jesus to the tomb. Then said the Jews, behold,
-
how he loved him.
-
No, let me back up. I'm moving, I'm moving too fast.
-
I'm excited. Jesus said unto them, Where have you laid him?
-
They said unto him, Lord, come and see. So they
-
led him to the tomb.
-
And the shortest verse in the Bible, 35, Jesus wept.
-
Tears of sorrow.
-
Then said the Jews, because they saw him weep, how
-
he loved him. How he loved him. I want to
-
talk to us today about because he cared. Because he cares.
-
You may be seated in the house of the Lord.
-
Because he cares. Jesus previously, before this, was away when
-
he got the message about Lazarus being sick.
-
Unto death.
-
And he said to his disciples, he told them, let
-
the dead bury the dead. Jesus, they kept telling him
-
about Elijah's. But Jesus waited four days on purpose before
-
he ever went to where Elijah's was.
-
There was a reason for that.
-
He knew on the fourth day they would, you know
-
they had these customs and traditions now. He knew on
-
the fourth day that Elijah's, if they would truly believe
-
that he was truly dead. And he came on the first, second,
-
and third day In Latin, woke up and said he
-
was in a coma.
-
But that fourth day when Jesus came.
-
And when he came, Mary and Martha approached him in mourning.
-
It was sad because Lazarus had already died and they
-
had already put him in a tomb. And they knew
-
at that point They wrapped him and then they put
-
the myrrh and all of that on him to keep the.
-
Body from stinking in the tomb.
-
And it suggests to us that he was not the
-
only one in the tomb.
-
Because when Jesus.
-
Came to the tomb, after being led to the tomb,
-
he says, Lazarus, rise and come forth. If he had
-
just said come forth, everybody in the tomb would have
-
got up because there was power in his words.
-
So he had to call him by name. But he
-
was troubled.
-
And because he was troubled, he was troubled because he
-
felt the mourning of the people.
-
But then the Bible says, and he wept.
-
And the Jews that looked at him gathered their own
-
opinion as to say, have.
-
You loved him? Because he cared.
-
And Jesus was showing the human side of him of
-
how much he cares for us. But there's another side.
-
How much do we care for him? You see, Jesus
-
may have been troubled. There's no real explanation, but there
-
are many reasons why he could have wept. One very
-
well could have been because Lazarus had died, but I
-
have to wonder because he is the resurrection.
-
So why would I weep if he died.
-
When I can raise him up again? But could have
-
been one of the reasons. But Jesus may have been
-
troubled by the excessive sorrow of the mourners. You know,
-
you be around a whole lot of people crying. If
-
you got any affection in you, it might cause a problem.
-
He could have been troubled by Martha and Mary's limited faith.
-
Or by the general unbelief.
-
But even more so, he was angry at the power
-
of death, which was man's ultimate enemy.
-
Death is our last enemy. Amen to that.
-
In the book of 1 Corinthians, and around about the
-
15th chapter, And the 24th verse.
-
The Bible lets us know. The 24th. It says.
-
Then comes the end. Now this ain't referring to the
-
total end. But it's concerning. A rapture time. When he shall.
-
Have delivered up. The kingdom of God. Even the father.
-
When he shall have put on all rule and all
-
authority and power.
-
When he shall put on all rule and all authority
-
and power. He got it all.
-
For he, Jesus, must reign till he has put all enemies.
-
Somebody say all. All enemies under his foot. All enemies.
-
Watch this. The last enemy, verse 26.
-
That shall be destroyed is what? What? Death.
-
Death is the last enemy.
-
So while there was amongst him the commotion and the
-
loud wailing of mourners, Jesus wept. So what made him cry?
-
Was it the love for Lazarus? Was it the presence
-
of sadness and death? Or was it the faithless grief
-
that surrounded him? Whatever the reason, the situation caused Jesus
-
to shed a tear.
-
The Jews believed.
-
His tears to be a sign of his great love
-
for Lazarus. They believed that Jesus wept in frustration and
-
sorrow that he had not arrived early enough in order
-
to heal Lazarus.
-
Like it's his fault.
-
But that could not have been, that could not have
-
been so because he had the power. You just read
-
what I showed you. He had the power and the
-
authority with the power. See, you didn't have power, but
-
you didn't have that authority. See, that couldn't have been
-
so because Jesus had the power to raise the dead.
-
Jesus showed that he cares enough for us and he's
-
yet still showing how much he cares for us. That
-
he cares so much for us that he went to
-
the cross, died for our sins, That we may live
-
and not die. And after he came.
-
Was resurrected. He came back again for 50 some days.
-
And walked the earth.
-
Then ascended up to heaven. But before he descended. He
-
left us some help. Because he loves us. He left
-
us the Holy Ghost. Because he knew it took a spirit.
-
To fight a spirit. See the devil is a spirit.
-
Jesus showed that he cared.
-
Enough for us.
-
To weep with us in our sorrow, in our limited faith,
-
even our unbelief. Jesus wants so much for us to
-
love him. Oh, he wants so much for us to
-
love him.
-
As he loves us.
-
And this is love that's consistent of us trusting in him. See,
-
there's no way You can trust Jesus without loving him.
-
There's no way you can love him without trusting him.
-
And there's no way you can say you trust him
-
when you doubt him. There's no way you can say
-
you trust him when you don't stand on his word. See,
-
we got to stand on every word of God. You
-
got so many doubters. You got so many drivers in
-
the wrong direction for God's people. They tell you, every
-
book ain't in his Bible. So, every book in there
-
is already in it. All I need. And all I
-
really need to know is that Jesus died on the
-
cross for my sins. And if I believe on him,
-
I shall be saved. There's other books in the Bible.
-
Well, you read them. Man wrote his Bible. No, he didn't.
-
My Bible says all scripture was given by the inspiration
-
of God. So, if you love him, You'll stand on
-
his word. And you won't be moved by ideology, opinion,
-
doctrine of men, theology, denominational teaching.
-
You won't be moved by none of that.
-
Denominational teaching is not God's word, first of all.
-
Denomination is not even from God.
-
Baptists, Catholics, seven-day Adventists, Church of God and Christ, Of
-
the devil.
-
God is not divided. They all have their own step
-
and rules and regulations. Ain't but one God. One gospel.
-
One mind.
-
One spirit.
-
One soul. They make it up as they go along.
-
It's already been made. It's denominational. Denominational is of the devil.
-
Can I prove it once more again brothers? Was Jesus
-
a Baptist? Was he church and God in Christ? Huh?
-
Was he seven day of Venice? Was he Catholic? God
-
ain't never told us to be nothing but holy. He
-
told you to be no Baptist, no Catholic. He said
-
be holy for I am holy. He didn't say for
-
I am Baptist. He didn't say for I am Catholic.
-
He said for I am holy. And he said, you
-
be ye holy. I ain't tell you to.
-
Believe in the preacher, the apostle, the bishop. He said,
-
believe in him. That's what he said.
-
And that's what we trust in. We don't trust in
-
no pastor. We don't trust in no bishop. I don't
-
care what kind of title you got. Those titles was
-
given for the edification of the church. But they're not
-
edifying the church, they're edifying themselves. Business running around robbing
-
the church. Evangelists is robbing. Preachers, teachers, apostles, robbing God's people.
-
And they ain't even the big problem. They're a problem,
-
but they're not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is
-
the people in the church. Because they don't trust in him.
-
They allow these folks to be pumped up in themselves
-
thinking they're doing something and they ain't doing nothing.
-
But leading people straight to hell.
-
Why? Because the people are not trusting in him. You're
-
not trusting in him. Our focus is Jesus Christ. Your
-
focus ain't no man. You gotta know The only way
-
you can focus on a man is what Paul said.
-
Follow me as I follow Christ. Now you can focus
-
on him because you're not really focusing on him. You're
-
focusing on Jesus and him.
-
Are you with me?
-
Are you understanding what I'm saying? The Bible said all
-
you're getting is an understanding. You focus on him because
-
you see him in him.
-
But when you don't see him in him, you better
-
go somewhere else. Run!
-
Run! This love is consistent of us in trusting him
-
and believing in him and believing in his word. He
-
has done so much for us in the time that
-
we have lived up until right now. But we don't
-
even have to come all the way up until right now.
-
The day that he hit the cross was all that
-
was needed to be done for us. You don't hear
-
what I'm saying. If he don't give you another dime,
-
another dollar, he don't give you another new car, a house,
-
another shred of clothes. He's done more than enough by
-
the cross.
-
You don't hear what I'm saying.
-
He's done more than enough done so much for us
-
in the time that we have lived even up to now.
-
He has given us so much in this life. And
-
the fact that he gave us life is more than enough.
-
And you know, Jesus has given us so much that
-
we're so slow sometimes. And some slow all the time.
-
He has given us so much in this life. And
-
a lot of us, I mean a lot of us.
-
I ain't talking about the one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
-
I'm talking about millions of us. He has given us
-
so much. And the fact that he's given us all
-
of this.
-
Millions. He has given so much. We don't use what
-
he has given us. Millions. He has given.
-
Because Technically, truly, every living human being on this earth.
-
I don't care what country you are, what city you are,
-
what continent you're on.
-
He has given every one of us the same thing.
-
He's given it to us. For it is. Everybody in
-
the world.
-
So let me change my millions to billions. He's given
-
it to us. And what he has given us, we
-
don't even use what he has given us. Millions, billions
-
don't even use what he gave us. Let me tell
-
you what he gave us. Let me tell you what
-
Jesus gave us. Let me just give you a few
-
things that he's given us. One of the biggest things
-
he gave us we don't even use. The Bible says
-
God has given every man a measure of what? He's
-
given us faith and he gave us that faith to
-
believe in him. And what he has already done, that's
-
what he gave us. He gave us this faith to
-
believe in him and to believe in what he's already done.
-
And what he's already done for us. But we still
-
are in an unbelief and a doubtful state. He's given
-
us peace to stand in the midst of our storms.
-
He showed us how you can stand in the midst
-
of a storm. He showed us at least twice, we know,
-
on the waters. He showed us when his crucifixion, when
-
they came for him in the garden of Gethsemane.
-
He showed us his peace. And then he turned around
-
and gave us peace. And to stand in the midst
-
of our storms. Ha! Glory to God.
-
To stand in the midst of our storms. The storms
-
of life. When sinners are taxed. When your husband leaves you.
-
When your wife leaves you. When your children are cutting up.
-
When your car gets totaled. Or your car break down.
-
You let your bill $ 700. He gave us peace to
-
stand in the midst of our storms. When people are
-
stabbing you in the back. When folks are stolen from you.
-
Lying on you. He gave you peace to stand in
-
the midst of your storms. Those are your storms of life.
-
And some still choose.
-
To be shaken. He's given us joy. That the world
-
cannot understand. He has given us this joy. And you
-
know this joy and peace works hand in hand. I
-
still got joy. Man ran into a car and told
-
him that. I still got joy. I still got joy.
-
I still got peace in the midst of my stone.
-
He gave us that.
-
It's not like the world's peace. See, the world's peace
-
is conditional. His peace is not. The world's joy is conditional.
-
As long as everything is going all right, the world
-
has peace and joy.
-
It's not conditional. God's Joy, God, peace, it.
-
Don't matter what's going on, where it's turmoil, where it's
-
peace going on, and whether everything is all right and
-
whether everything looks like it's not all right. You still
-
got joy. You still got peace. As long as we
-
trust in him. Here's the problem with the saints of God.
-
They can't trust him fully. You know why?
-
Somebody help me. You know why? You know why? Because
-
they don't know him.
-
You got to know him to know you can trust him.
-
You hear me deep?
-
How you going to trust somebody you don't know? And
-
it's a fool to say I trust everybody. You a fool.
-
I trust no one. I trust no one but Jesus.
-
And if you got Jesus, I got you trusting. How
-
you going to trust him? How are you going to
-
know about the peace that he gives? He gave it,
-
but if you don't know it, you don't know where
-
it comes from.
-
How are.
-
You going to know it? Right here. You got to
-
get in his word.
-
This is his will.
-
This is his mind. How are you going to let
-
this mind be in you that was also in Christ
-
if you don't let it? And when you let it,
-
you'll know the peace he's given and the joy he's
-
extended to us. But we're still shaking with this piece
-
of joy. Because we don't know. We don't know the
-
strength of it. We have to be, we have to
-
condition ourselves. This is how you condition yourself. He gave
-
us self-control. It's still full clocking out.
-
Going off.
-
Stripping. He gave us self-control. So what he cussed you out.
-
So what he cussed you out. You can't cuss them
-
out and say, God, they cussed me out first, so
-
I cussed them out.
-
You know what God's going to tell you?
-
He ain't judging you for their actions. I'm judging you
-
for your reactions to the action. What you going to do?
-
I love it, but what you going to do? What
-
you going to do? What you going to do?
-
What you going to do?
-
Because they tapped your cock and kept on walking knowing
-
they'd hit you.
-
What you going to do?
-
Because you opened the door with somebody and they kept
-
walking and didn't say thank you. That was your choice
-
to open the door. And God gave them the choice
-
to say thank you and keep walking. You don't control
-
that choice. You want to control yours. Don't open the
-
door if you don't think nobody will say thank you.
-
You'll be all right. They don't owe you nothing.
-
We say ethically you should say thank you. Well, if
-
they don't, what you gonna, hey, you ain't see me
-
open the door for you?
-
Oh yeah, that's all. They ain't choose to say thank you. Man,
-
you upset. Tell everybody. Open the door for her. She
-
ain't have nothing, courtesy to say thank you. She ain't
-
have to.
-
It's a choice.
-
Where's your self-control? He gave us self-control.
-
And we still, some of us are still choosing to
-
trip and to go off, having fit. Where's your self-control?
-
You know you had two hamburgers and fries and a drink.
-
You don't need another hamburger. Where your self-control at? You
-
been gluttonous. You done had two plates. Where your self-control? Whoa, whoa, whoa.
-
Look at her, boy. She showed me a sign. And
-
you left it all over the place. Where your self-control?
-
I don't know who left that 20 right there.
-
Where your self-control? Why you stealing?
-
You don't know who left it. But one thing you
-
do know, you didn't leave it.
-
And he's given us love.
-
That the world don't understand this love. Because this love
-
is the driving force of your joy and your peace
-
and your self-control. Love is the driving force. You see,
-
this love is just like the joy and the peace
-
and the self-control. It don't have no conditioning. You see,
-
the world has a filial love. And God has agape love.
-
And the filial love says, I love you because.
-
You love me.
-
If you don't love me, I don't love you. Hate me,
-
I hate you. But see, the agape love says, I
-
love you no matter what. There's no conditions on agape love.
-
You hate me, I still love you. You despise me,
-
I still love you. You talk about me like a dog, I.
-
Still love you.
-
You stole from me, I still love you. You cuss
-
me out, I still love you. That's the love of God.
-
It's unconditional. There's no conditions to His love. It is
-
just love.
-
Continuously. Okay?
-
I don't love what you did, but I still love you.
-
You stole from me. I hate that, but.
-
I still love you. Talked about me like a dog.
-
I hate that, but I still love you.
-
See, the love of God, which I learned years ago,
-
God showed me how to separate that thing.
-
He said... God loves the sinner.
-
He just hates the sin they commit.
-
Huh?
-
He just don't love the children of God. He loves
-
the sinner too. He just don't love the sin.
-
That they do. He loves them people in hell. He
-
don't love the fact that he.
-
Is. You see, God's love is unconditional. He's going to
-
love no matter what. I say it like this. You
-
can't make me continue. Notice the wording. As I told
-
you earlier, wording is very important in the Bible. When
-
the Bible said word on word, precept on precept, you
-
have to listen to the words because the words will
-
match you.
-
Up to the understanding. You can't make me hate you.
-
The key word is make me.
-
Because see, it was a lie when Philip Winston told
-
everybody that they believed him.
-
The devil made me do it. The devil ain't never
-
made nobody do nothing but himself.
-
He didn't even make the third of the angels follow
-
him down to get kicked out of heaven with him.
-
They made a choice.
-
You people running around talking about I heard a voice.
-
God told me to kill them people. That's what the
-
man said when he came into church and pulled the
-
pistol on the preacher. He had already killed somebody previously.
-
They found that out when they went back to his house.
-
He killed an elderly man previously.
-
Then came to church, pulled the pistol on the preacher,
-
pulled the trigger, but the gun jacked him.
-
See, his voice has told him to do what he did.
-
God's voice.
-
See, that's what I tell you. You better know the
-
voice of God. God ain't told you to pull no
-
trigger and kill nobody. Because God said the house should
-
not kill. Why would he kill somebody?
-
God don't even kill.
-
Contrary to Papa Phil, God took him out because it
-
was time for him to go.
-
No, he didn't.
-
Sin took him out. Sin is unto death. God don't
-
contradict his word. He said it's not his will that
-
he should perish. Why would he kill somebody? See, you
-
got to know him. And when you know him, you
-
can trust him. See, you got to get to know him.
-
Because he gave us this love that the world doesn't understand.
-
And we still, we still, even though he gave us
-
his love, we're taking his love and still putting conditions
-
on it.
-
And his love is unconditional.
-
We still putting conditions on it and being tricked by
-
the devil. I don't hate her. I just don't like her. Well,
-
that's a sifting of the devil. You either love or
-
hate her. There's no in between with God. The devil
-
got you saying, I don't hate her, I just don't
-
like her.
-
No, you hate her. Because the love of God is unconditional.
-
The love of God don't say, I don't hate her,
-
I just don't like her. The love of God loves her.
-
But we keep putting conditions on God's love. And because
-
of his love, you know the biggest thing he gave
-
you with love?
-
His life. His son.
-
His life.
-
His son. Same thing. So that death couldn't take us out.
-
And come.
-
He gave us his life so death could not take
-
us out. Those of us who receive his son.
-
Don't get it twisted. I've proven to you many times.
-
We are not.
-
All the children of God as they taught you. Scripture
-
don't say that. Scripture say there are some who are
-
the children.
-
Of the devil. That's scripture. So if there are some
-
who are the children of the devil, we ain't all
-
God's children. We're not all God's children.
-
But those that believe and receive the life, that death
-
can't take us out. And some of us still, because
-
he gave us his life, some of us still refuse to.
-
Live So I can see now why he wins.
-
After all that he gave us and millions and millions
-
of us refused to receive what he gave us. He
-
gave us his life and then he gave us all
-
that he could receive because of his life. I now
-
know why he did we. After all he has done
-
for us, we still have not taken hold of what
-
he really means to us. We still, the church, has
-
not taken hold to what Jesus Christ really means to us.
-
Still going to church, still don't.
-
Understand what Jesus Christ means to them and to us.
-
Still don't understand. Going to church 52 times a year
-
and something more.
-
Some people having a whole month of revival, come out
-
of revival and still don't know what Jesus means to them.
-
Having a whole week of revivals and still don't know
-
what Jesus means to them. Going to church every Sunday
-
of the year which is 52 Sundays and still.
-
Don't know what Jesus means to them. Why wouldn't he weep?
-
That's enough to make me cry. Most folks ain't having
-
revivals no more. God told me years ago there ain't
-
nothing but.
-
What I call fundraisers. Fundraisers. A week of snatching your
-
pockets off of them. That's all. A week of you
-
giving and going home and can't pay your electricity. You
-
done gave and gave and gave and ain't nothing changed.
-
Why do you think they call it a revival? You're
-
supposed to be revived. Your spirit's supposed to be revived.
-
Them folks still having a fool when they come out
-
of them. They're having a fool when they come out
-
to their other revival every night.
-
Nothing changed. So who's been revived? The pastor, the speaker,
-
his pockets are being revived. You know revival? It's fundraising.
-
It's fundraising.
-
And then they come on Friday. It's the last day
-
of revival. What are they coming for?
-
Brother Mary? Because they're serving dinner on the last day
-
of revival. They're coming to eat.
-
They're coming to get their belly full. Fill up their flesh.
-
Spirit ain't done nothing. So I can see why he went.
-
And yeah, they look for the big part of revival
-
on Friday because most people get paid on Friday. After
-
all he has done for us, we still have not
-
taken hold of what he really means to us.
-
He is life to us. He is joy. He is love.
-
He is peace. He's self-control and faith. He's hope. But
-
most of all, he is our way back to the Father.
-
So I guess, no, I know.
-
I would cry too if I've done everything and he
-
did everything.
-
When he died on the cross, that was everything. Y'all
-
heard what he said on the cross, don't you?
-
He said it's finished.
-
So he done done everything. He done done it all.
-
He said it's finished.
-
He done everything that he knew to do to give
-
us life. And we still want to die. I don't
-
know about nobody, but I know I will live and
-
not die. So I'm going to say this today. Accept
-
Jesus Christ into your life. And let your life prove out.
-
Don't just claim you accept him in your life. If
-
you claim you accept him in your life, then let
-
your life prove out. Let the manifestation that you receive
-
him prove out of your life. Amen?
-
Without a doubt. Folks see you, there won't be no doubt.
-
But when they see you, they'll see Jesus. Don't demons
-
know who Jesus is?
-
I've had people walk up to me on many occasions
-
and they say, I don't know what he said.
-
He said, you're trying.
-
To let your light shine. In other words, he recognized
-
the Lord Jesus in my life. I ain't preached to him.
-
I carried myself. You understand me? If you never preach
-
a word or minister a word to a person, your
-
life is going to minister to them.
-
The way you carry yourself is going to minister to them.
-
You don't hear what I'm saying.
-
Your life is going to prove that whether you receive
-
Jesus Christ your Lord or Savior.
-
And since you have accepted him and you believe in him.
-
And I believe that Jesus, if you really accept him
-
and you really believe in him and you really trust him,
-
I believe that Jesus, if he shed a tear, I
-
believe if a tear falls from his eye, it will
-
be a tear of joy.
-
Not a tear of sorrow. Amen? Because love is all
-
that he has to us.
-
And when we have the same love, the same love
-
that he exemplifies and he shows to us, Each and
-
every one of us.
-
And also the world. And first us. Then his tears
-
will stop flowing for the wrong thing.
-
And tears of joy will flow from his eyes. Can
-
we do that for him? Can we do it for him?
-
Let's not say it like people say. Can we do
-
that for him? Peter said, Lord, I never need you.
-
Got your back.
-
Staying tall with you. Maybe I'll die for you. And
-
then they came and got Jesus and tapped him and
-
took him. Peter said, I don't know that man.
-
Got his back.
-
What back?
-
I don't know the back.
-
Peter had to make it quite clear to the folks
-
that he didn't know him, so he started swimming.
-
Now you look like one of them. Your speech betrays you, God.
-
You can't fake it and make it if you say,
-
fake the fact, no, you've been filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
You trying to act like the world, they'll tell you
-
to be, nah, this ain't for you, doc. Nah, this
-
ain't for you. You go on home now. Let us
-
do what we do. This ain't for you.
-
They looked at Peter and said, nah, nah, man, your
-
faith betrays you, doc. You know Jesus. We know you
-
know him. You walk like him. Come on now. I
-
promise you I so and so and so and so
-
don't know. You smell like him.
-
You know righteousness has a smell because sin has a stench.
-
Oh yeah.
-
Righteousness has a spiritual smell to it. Just like sin.
-
God says sin has a stench to it.
-
No. It has a spiritual smell to it. Amen. And
-
sometimes you can physically smell it. And I promise you
-
it stinks.
-
But when you believe in him and believe that Jesus
-
Christ is who he said he is.
-
And he lived for him, I believe those tears will
-
be tears of joy.
-
Because see, all Jesus asked us to do, if we
-
love him, we don't have no problem loving others. See,
-
Jesus even calls you He calls you a liar if
-
you say you love him and hate your brother. Because
-
that's conditional love. That's not agape. Agape love don't love
-
him and your brother.
-
How can you say you love me but hate your brother?
-
He said you're a liar. He said you're a liar.
-
And then he said, and the truth is not in you.
-
So now he's relating you to your father, the devil.
-
Love is all he asks of us.
-
And when we have the same love that he's impressed
-
to us and show it to each other and the world,
-
but us first, then his tears will stop flowing for
-
the wrong thing.
-
And tears of joy will flow from his eyes. Can
-
we do that for him? I mean, since he's done
-
so much for us, can we just do that for him?
-
Like dying so we can live.
-
Amen.
-
Because all he really asks of us is to love him.
-
And that means we must trust him. And have faith
-
in him. No matter what life deals to us. No
-
matter what life deals out to us, we must hold
-
on to the belief and the hope in Jesus Christ,
-
our Lord and Savior. You know, this message, listening to
-
it in my own spirit, and getting deep into it,
-
it saddened me when I was reading about it. It
-
was much more to read, but we only have so
-
much time. But this message made me feel a little
-
sad because I began to think about so many who
-
call themselves leaders of ministry under the name of Jesus Christ.
-
Claiming to be doing ministry in his name.
-
They claim it. They're doing it in the name of Jesus.
-
That's what they said in Matthew. Did we cast out
-
demons in your name? In your name? In your name?
-
Did we heal in your name? In your name? Did
-
we do wonders? Marvelous, wonderful works in your name? And
-
Jesus said, I don't know you. I ain't never known you.
-
I don't know what you're talking about. Who are you anyway?
-
He said, depart from me, you workers of iniquity. You
-
workers of wrongdoing. These people is sad It should be
-
said to you. Wouldn't it be sad to you if
-
somebody was using somebody you love? And you know they
-
just use them. Using them up like toilet paper. Don't
-
care nothing about it. Just using them to get whatever
-
they can get.
-
And they're just using him for money and for power
-
and for fame. That's all these preachers are doing.
-
Bunch of them using him for money, for power and fame.
-
That's it.
-
They don't care nothing about Jesus. His name is making
-
a million. His name put him in mansions. His name
-
put him in Rolls Royces and Maybachs and Mercedes Benz
-
and Jaguars and Saracens.
-
His name.
-
Using his name for money and power and fame. And
-
don't love him. They don't love him. You don't use
-
somebody you love. They don't love him. They don't love
-
him at all. Just want what his name can do
-
for them. And the real sad part about it is
-
that they are all going to go to hell if
-
they don't turn from their wicked ways. If they don't
-
change their love for him, they're going to go to hell.
-
And a lot of them are already having the base mind.
-
So when they wind up in hell, they're going to
-
be like, what am I doing down here? See, you
-
must understand that scripture is so powerful. Didn't I prophesy
-
it in your name? Didn't I cast out demons in
-
your name? They believed what they were doing was in
-
the name of Jesus.
-
They probably were good folks, but they were bamboozled and
-
looked rich.
-
And a whole lot of folks are going to line
-
up in hell like a rich man, thinking you're doing
-
the right thing.
-
And most people got money, believe they don't need Jesus,
-
no way.
-
Because most poor people and people without, they come to
-
church like Jesus is a genie.
-
Rub him and get your three wishes. Don't work like that.
-
Jesus is not a genie.
-
And when you treat him like a genie, you don't
-
love him. You have to meet in the Lord. It's
-
sad to me that the church won't wake.
-
Up And they won't.
-
Not now, some not ever. Because they're trusted in a man.
-
And they're going to die trusted in a man. The
-
bishop that I was under in the other ministry, when
-
he died, I asked one of the teachers this.
-
I watched it for a long time. I said, brother,
-
let me ask you a question. What would you come
-
to church for? Would you come to church for Jesus
-
I wish you'd come to church for a man. That
-
boy was honest.
-
He said, I was coming for a man. He ain't
-
coming for a man now, but he was coming for
-
a man. But thank God he didn't get a debate mind.
-
He woke up before he died, but he told the truth.
-
You got to ask yourself, church, why you didn't come
-
to church? What are you coming to the house of
-
God for? I know why you should be coming. So
-
it really is a rhetorical question. What are you coming for?
-
That's for you to answer between you and God. That's
-
not even an answer that I'm deserving of. It's only
-
an answer deserving to God why you come up in
-
his house.
-
That's for the saints all over the world.
-
For all those that are listening over the airwaves.
-
Because we record every Sunday.
-
And I know everybody in Australia and our land and
-
everywhere they're here, so we see it. What are you
-
coming for? If you ain't coming for but for one reason,
-
you coming for the wrong reason. Whole lot of folk
-
coming for they wanna see what Betty look like this Sunday.
-
They wanna see what Susan May look like. I want
-
another chance at tension. I didn't get to really talk
-
to her last Sunday. I didn't really get to put
-
my game down right. I'm coming for Bob.
-
Bob, show them what y'all saying. Ooh, Bob look good.
-
You hear me?
-
You hear me? You hear me? Where's Jesus and all that?
-
Where's Jesus and all that? Ooh, I can't wait to
-
get to church so I can sing my song. So
-
I can get my applause. Hmm? Where's Jesus?
-
And all of that. And you wonder why he will.
-
If people don't change their love for him, they're going
-
to wind up in the devil's.
-
Hell. In the devil's hell, amen.
-
And so are the people who are not loving him
-
for himself, but for what a man says about him.
-
You got to love him for yourself. Don't tell me
-
you love me because a people love me. Love me
-
for yourself. There are people that say, if she love him,
-
I love him. People say, you know Jimmy, girl? Yeah,
-
I know Jimmy. Girl, I love Jimmy.
-
Girl, if you love Jimmy, I love Jimmy.
-
You don't even know Jimmy. You got to love Jimmy
-
for yourself. And the only way to love Jimmy for yourself,
-
you got to know Jimmy. The only way you can
-
love Jesus for yourself, you got to know Jesus. And
-
the only way you're going to get to know him
-
is you got to get in his Word. Most folks
-
don't even, most folks go to church 72 times a
-
year but never keep the Bible up at home.
-
But say they love Jesus. How you love somebody you
-
never spend time with?
-
Huh?
-
How you going to love somebody You never spend time.
-
A wife and a husband, if they never spend time
-
with each other, you better believe one thing for sure.
-
One of them gonna, one of them gonna understand, he always,
-
long time spent, he never spend time, you got the
-
one that even love me. You got the one that
-
she even love me. What you marry me for? You
-
don't never spend no time with me. Ain't no way
-
you love me. Love is an action word. It don't
-
sit on the shelf.
-
It moves.
-
It moves quickly. Because he cares, he loves us. And
-
because he cares, we should care. He loved us before
-
we loved him. He went to the cross when we
-
hated him. He went to the cross when we mocked him.
-
He went to the cross when we didn't believe him.
-
He went to the cross when we spilled him.
-
We slapped him in the face. But he still went
-
to the cross. You know why? Because his love didn't
-
change because we spit on him. His love didn't.
-
Change because we slapped him. His love didn't change because
-
we talked about him. His love didn't change because we
-
didn't believe in him. His love didn't change because the
-
church crucified him. The church crucified him, not the Romans.
-
But he still loved him in spite of it.
-
What's our problem? He gave us everything we need because
-
he said it's finished. It's done. All that we need
-
is in him. All that we need is in Jesus.
-
And believe you me, even the Lord Jesus Christ himself
-
said it gives him great pleasure.
-
To see his people prosper. Then we talk about prospering.
-
First thing that comes to people's mind is money. It
-
does his heart good to see you prosper in your peace,
-
in your love, in your joy, in your self-control. That
-
does his heart good to see you prosper in your forgiveness.
-
It does his heart good. That's prosperity to God.
-
The wealth ain't even our problem. And you're not focused.
-
Not even on God. And I say this and I'm done.
-
He said in his word that he shall supply.
-
All of our needs according.
-
To his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
-
Philippians 4, 19.
-
He said that so that we can focus on him.
-
Not on how to get a car and a house
-
and a wife and a husband and money and clothes
-
and jewelry.
-
Focus on him. He shall supply.
-
All of that because he said he'll give us the.
-
Desires of our heart. He said it.
-
We just ain't understood it yet. We still trying to
-
hustle and bustle.
-
Take it easy. Folks out here working three and four jobs.
-
If you trust in him. I had two jobs one.
-
Time, a long time ago. Going to the house of
-
the Lord, worshiping the Lord. God said, let me show
-
you something. You don't get your food sick.
-
I got you. Come home from my second job, ran
-
off the road. Not completely. When that happened, I said, okay. Uh-uh.
-
I'm done with this. So I work one job. And
-
then I say, Lord, I don't want to work this job.
-
I don't want to work for these folks. I want
-
to work for me. Work for you.
-
So now I work for him. And in working for him,
-
he allows me to work for me. That's how I
-
talk to God. I said, they approached me. Folks from
-
Apple Computers. Said, I don't want you to work for
-
us now. We don't want you to work for Apple
-
now no more. I said, okay, I'm going to listen
-
to everything you say. We're going to get a meeting
-
with the president, the vice president, and we're going to
-
talk to the owner of the company because we want
-
you to work for us now. Because I work for
-
a computer company, but Apple Computers is one of the
-
computers in the company.
-
And when he got through talking, I stopped walking. We
-
were walking through the warehouse when he stopped walking. I
-
stopped walking. He stopped walking. I wanted him to pay
-
attention to what I had to say.
-
I heard what he said. I said, well, I sure
-
appreciate that, but I don't want to work for y'all.
-
And I'm not going to work for them as long.
-
I said, I'm going to work for me. I'm going
-
to work for y'all, and I'm going to work for them.
-
There's going to come a time when I'm going to
-
work for me. He said, well, are you sure about that?
-
I said, I'm sure about that.
-
Have a nice day. I worked for you. You know
-
why I worked for me? Because I trust God. I
-
believe God.
-
There have been times where I didn't even have jobs
-
for weeks. But I said, well, let me go do that.
-
I would cut the grass at the church, cut the
-
grass at the pastor's house, and the pastor chasing me
-
down the day going to the driveway trying to pay me.
-
And I'm telling him, I don't need your money because
-
God going to bless me for blessing you. And five, four,
-
five jobs come out and I cut that grass. Four
-
or five jobs coming. I stay obedient to him. I
-
don't got to go to the left. I tell God
-
what he already knows. Now, I got this bill coming up.
-
I don't need the money. And I get a phone call.
-
It ain't enough money to pay a bill, but I
-
get a phone call. And it starts to trickle from
-
that phone call. I get that job. I get another job.
-
I get another job. I get another job. I stopped
-
working for folks back in 19, no, 2000. It's been
-
almost 30 years. I quit working for folks.
-
I've been doing what I'm doing for almost 30 years.
-
Folks say, ooh, what's your sign? Jesus. That's my sign.
-
They want to know that I got a sign on
-
my truck. They ain't got no sign on my truck.
-
Can I get a car? I ain't got no car.
-
I had some cards. I said, I said, my word
-
comes from the Lord. People call me talking about Peggy
-
Martha told me, gave me your number and said that
-
you know how to do it. In my mind, I'm going,
-
who is Peggy Martha? I don't know no Peggy Martha.
-
You got to trust in him. You got to have
-
your hope in him and believe in him. He said
-
he shall supply all of my needs.
-
I've had people tell me they didn't want to follow
-
me because of the color of my skin. I said,
-
that's okay. Did they change their mind? I said, still okay.
-
I still don't want to follow you. I said, one
-
thing you don't understand about me, I got a promise.
-
I got a promise. Dude, I got a promise. I
-
got a promise. You hear, brother? I got a promise.
-
Guess who it came from? A one that's not a
-
man that he should lie, or a son of man
-
that he should repent.
-
He's not a man that he should lie.
-
I got a promise.
-
And then he already told me that all of my
-
promises are yes.
-
Did you hear me? Yes. They already answered yes.
-
And amen.
-
Which means yeah. I agree. I agree.
-
Amen.
-
I agree that they're yes and amen.
-
I agree.
-
Amen. I receive them. And I have to listen. Because
-
the enemy will try to get your job. I don't know.
-
I've turned down jobs. I had a job recently.
-
I think he was the brother right there who works
-
for me.
-
He was in the car. There's a job. You remember
-
the job with the tree fell on the house? They
-
gave the lady $ 400, 000 to do the job.
-
She didn't even mind it yet, but she said she
-
wanted me to do it.
-
I don't want to do it. I want it. I
-
want it now. And I know why I don't. That's
-
all that matters to me.
-
Now, if she's trying to make a mind of whether
-
or not she's going to rebuild the house, or she's
-
going to just sell the house as is and buy
-
another house, wisdom to me was just go and buy
-
another house, 200-something, save 200-something, sell that house and make
-
some more money.
-
I don't need you paying me to take that house up.
-
Take the better out of it.
-
Amen.
-
You know why?
-
Because I got a promise. I got a promise. He
-
promised to take care of me.
-
He promised. And I believe him.
-
Now you can say he promised to take care of you,
-
but you don't believe it. It just might not happen
-
the way he wanted to. I believe him. He's never
-
failed me. He never will. See, some folks say he's
-
never failed me yet. I ain't no yet in it.
-
There's no yet. He never fails. There ain't no yet.
-
He can't fail. That's why there's no yet. Amen?
-
Amen.
-
So I would encourage you, church, To get before him.
-
To get to know him more. So that your trust
-
and your hope will be built up in him.
-
Amen.
-
The more you get into him, the more he gets
-
into you. The more you get into him, the more
-
he gets into you.
-
You see, the more the people practice devilment, the more
-
devilment gets into you.
-
And you've got to know the truth of the word.
-
Like I told you, I was watching that podcast yesterday,
-
last night, and he said Halloween. He don't have no
-
problem with saints celebrating Halloween.
-
He clearly said that. He had no problem with saints
-
celebrating Halloween.
-
Halloween is the only so-called man-made holiday to tell you
-
it's wicked.
-
And you ain't got a problem.
-
With the saints of God celebrating it? Well, if you
-
don't feel condemned, you should. What do you think the
-
base mind does? Keep you from feeling condemned. What do
-
you think a lie that's practiced does? Keeps you from
-
feeling condemned. You can lie to yourself. So much so
-
that you believe a lie.
-
That's why so many women out there are being abused,
-
talking about, if he don't slap me, that don't mean
-
he love me. No, he slap you because he hate.
-
You, girl. You ain't got every last word on you.
-
You ain't no punching bag. You want to hit something,
-
get him a body bag. And you ain't the body. Man,
-
twist it.
-
Twist it. A preacher telling the saints of God, it's
-
okay to celebrate Halloween. It's okay.
-
It's okay.
-
It's okay if you commit suicide, you won't go to hell.
-
That's what he told us. He said suicide won't send
-
you to hell. That's what he said. Suicide won't send
-
you to.
-
Hell.
-
Hell. Suicide will send you.
-
Straight to hell because there's no repentance from the sin
-
you just committed. So you got to trust in him
-
and the way you trust in him is through his
-
word and through his word with a personal relationship. Not
-
by way of a preacher behind a pulpit tell you,
-
but a personal relationship.
-
Then let these titles go to the head. He's a bishop.
-
So he's a bishop. They esteem him higher than a pastor.
-
He's an apostle.
-
He's a human being who's a wretch undone and a
-
filthy rag if he don't have Jesus. You can have
-
the title of a bishop.
-
And still be a filthy rag.
-
Your trust, your hope has to be in Jesus Christ.
-
Jesus and nothing else. This is why we have this
-
word to help us to focus. You ain't supposed to
-
be focusing on all this stuff.
-
Going on in the world. The world is moving.
-
Around so fast And you don't have time to focus
-
on this devastation because this one just happened.
-
This one just happened.
-
Back in the days, this one would happen and you
-
can focus a little.
-
Bit, but not now. This will happen. This will happen.
-
This will happen.
-
You can't focus on none of that. So focus on Jesus.
-
So many folks focus on what Trump going to do next.
-
I don't care what he does next. Whatever he does.
-
Next, my Lord is saying you allowed him to do it.
-
He ain't in control. He thinks he's in control, but
-
he ain't. God's using him just like he uses the devil.
-
You didn't know God used the devil? Yes, he used
-
the devil. Didn't he use him on Job? Yes, he did.
-
God uses the devil.
-
He's using Trump to do his bidding according to the
-
prophecy that must come into fruition.
-
Wars and rumors of war. Saving in the land. Lack.
-
Price is going up without being able to afford. It's
-
coming down the mark of the beast. You got to
-
take it to be able to afford anything. Some say
-
it's already happening.
-
I would believe it.
-
They're killing Christians for not denouncing Jesus Christ. And this
-
ain't just happening in foreign countries.
-
This is happening in America.
-
This is happening in America, killing Christians because they refused
-
to deny Jesus Christ.
-
As their Lord and Savior.
-
The world is going into the full mode of the
-
hatred of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
Good for us and good for them. Because see, we
-
got a problem. I got to keep telling you, we
-
got a problem. We got a problem.
-
And those liars getting up there telling you that everything
-
ain't going to be all right. We ain't going to
-
fix nothing. The Bible said we ain't going to wax
-
worse than the worst.
-
Where's the bad?
-
Amen.
-
God has spoken. And when God speaks, nothing changes. It
-
goes right in that direction.
-
Why?
-
He said, I'll watch over my word. He said, I
-
send my word out there and I'll watch it. Nothing
-
will go that way.
-
There you go.
-
Go that way.
-
It ain't going to go the other way.
-
It's going to go the way God tells it to go.
-
Amen from that. So put your trust.
-
I will beseech you, therefore, brother and sister, that you
-
put your trust in your love only in our Lord
-
and Savior, that your focus will be sure of what
-
voice you're hearing, what character you're carrying. Because the enemy
-
will have you to believe sometimes that you're walking on
-
fire when you're not. Stay focused on the Lord and
-
the Holy Ghost will always.
-
Guide you in the right way. Amen?
-
Stay focused on him and only him. See, God just
-
don't put us out there. He equips us. That's what
-
Jesus did. Before he ever sent them out in two
-
to preach and prophesy and heal, he equipped them first.
-
He endowed them with the power of God before he
-
sent them out.
-
They all came back to.
-
Jesus with all their joyful stories and testimonies because he
-
equipped them before he put them out.
-
So get equipped by the Lord before you go out.
-
Because the world is waiting to try you, to knock
-
you off your focus, to shake you, to break you.
-
But if you would just stay focused on you, just
-
stay focused. They're waiting to break you. You remember you
-
used to drink? Don't that D & J look good
-
to you? Man, you walked past that cigarette, it smelled good. Mm-hmm.
-
That guy drove by. You smelled that weed he was smoking.
-
Can't you go? Get your wine. Get your wine. Get
-
your wine. He know where you used to be. But
-
he don't really know where you're going.
-
Hmm?
-
He know where you're used to be, but he don't
-
know where you're going.
-
Player.
-
Come on, player. You used to have four or five
-
of them back in the day. I don't need none
-
of them. All I need is you. And if I
-
need anything, I need a wife. I don't need a girlfriend.
-
I need a wife. I need a fiance.
-
I used to be bored over this thing, but I
-
didn't get to be. I need a fiance that's going
-
to be a wife. Not somebody to play with. And
-
I need a fiance that I ain't touch until she
-
is the wife. It won't never touch me until she.
-
Is the wife. And if she can't wait, I need
-
to give you another. See, I need to do better
-
than have to be. I ain't going to take it.
-
I need to do better than Adam.
-
I ain't going to take it. You hear me, Sister Porter?
-
Don't try to hand it to me. I ain't going
-
to take it. You can try to back it up,
-
but I ain't going to take it. You hear my
-
wife here. Don't be trying to back it up. I
-
ain't going to take it. The Bible says she turned
-
and gained to Adam, and he took it.
-
New battle. No, I ain't going to take it. Now,
-
until you say I do, then I'll get it. I
-
won't have to take it.
-
Amen?
-
Amen. Let's give God a hand clap of praise.
