  1. We are reading from 2 Chronicles 20 13 to 21.

  2. And this month we are talking about liberating the power of the word.

  3. And we thank God that that word has been with us since January.

  4. This month we're emphasizing it.

  5. And we're just saying, May the Lord speak to us through his word.

  6. A very interesting story.

  7. And I pick it up from verse 13.

  8. The Bible says, All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord.

  9. Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jehaziel, son of Zechariah, the son of Beniah, the son of Jael, the son of Mataniah, a Levite, a descendant of Asaf, as he stood in the assembly.

  10. And he said, Listen, King Jehoshaphat, and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem.

  11. This is what the Lord says to you.

  12. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.

  13. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

  14. Tomorrow, march down against them.

  15. They'll be climbing up by the pass of Zeiz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the desert of Jeruac.

  16. You will not have to fight this battle.

  17. Take up your positions, stand firm, and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.

  18. Judah and Jerusalem.

  19. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.

  20. Go out to face them tomorrow.

  21. And the Lord will be with you.

  22. Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord.

  23. Then some Levites from the Kohithites and Korahats and ability band stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very soft voice, with a very loud voice.

  24. Early in the morning they left for the desert of Tekoah.

  25. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Listen to me, Judah and the people of Jerusalem.

  26. Have faith in the Lord your God, and you will be upheld.

  27. Have faith in his prophets, and you'll be successful.

  28. After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness.

  29. As they went out at the head of the army saying, Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever.

  30. And this is God's word, and gossip said, Let's give God a big hand.

  31. We may be seated as I make a short prayer.

  32. Father, we love you, we appreciate you.

  33. We thank you that you're a God who is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.

  34. And we thank you because every Sunday we can gather and worship you.

  35. And in the process of worshiping you, we can hear your voice saying, This is the way.

  36. Walk in it.

  37. Thank you, Lord, for giving me an opportunity to have been on leave and Lord to be able to be back.

  38. And I want to say thank you, Lord, for Pastor Simon and the leadership as they have continued to lead even when I was away.

  39. And Father, even as we pick it up and continue to finish this year, that God, your name will continue to be glorified.

  40. Speak to our hearts, those watching us online, those in the pavilion, wherever you may be, may this month God's word, may it speak to you in a special way.

  41. Thank you for hearing our prayer, Father.

  42. We have prayed this in Jesus' name and gossip.

  43. Amen, amen.

  44. Let me take time to appreciate Michael Panther.

  45. And the position is gearing himself to roll on the marathon place.

  46. 42 kilometers.

  47. Now, some of us we don't need 42 kilometers.

  48. You just need about a hundred feet.

  49. And you're tired, seriously tired.

  50. But what a blessing.

  51. Let's pray for that venture.

  52. Uh, it's going to be very successful, and it's going to draw a lot of resources for the purpose of ministering uh to those that God loves in a big way.

  53. Why don't we appreciate Michael and the team today?

  54. Amen.

  55. Now I was on leave, tell your neighbor he was on leave.

  56. And this leave was a very busy leave, but Martha sent me greetings, and uh she said, while you are giving my greetings, remind them that for us as a family we have had some very eventful things in the year.

  57. The first quarter as a family, we had the event of Caleb getting married on the 10th of January, and that was a big event.

  58. Financially, that was a heavy event because when we talked to Caleb uh towards the end of the year, the other year, and asked him, as you are thinking of putting this thing together, what's your budget?

  59. And he said seven million.

  60. I know sometimes as a parent you feel that you like to slap somebody into China for some of the things they are saying, because at that time you have no you don't have that kind of resource, but God being God, through this church, through friends, that wedding was a success, and God was able to lift that burden and that celebration, and it is something that will be embedded in our mind that God came through.

  61. Amen.

  62. And Caleb is fine, his family is fine, our grandson is fine.

  63. Whenever he comes to visit, we prepare for chaos.

  64. And when he leaves, we gather the chaos and we come back to stability.

  65. But that's that's the boy, that's what he is, and we celebrate that family and we thank God.

  66. One of the things I thank God for the family is because we have other nephews and nieces in the house, so they spend a lot of time playing with him.

  67. At this age, you can imagine, Pastor Simon, we cannot lift some things.

  68. Buana Sifi.

  69. And so we are helped by others who are around us.

  70. The second quarter of the year, we also had a challenge where my mom got unwell, hospitalized for many, many weeks in the ICU.

  71. That required a lot of resources.

  72. Then later she passed on.

  73. And then it required that we have a burial and the funeral and a celebration for her.

  74. And that also required a lot of resources.

  75. We thank God that even matters of the hospital, even before the burial, matters of the hospital through friends, through God's favor from the hospital, Lagakan Hospital, that bill was cut until it was cleared before the burial happened.

  76. Isn't God good?

  77. God is amazing.

  78. And through God's people, right here, you lifted that burden for us.

  79. And we celebrate that opportunity.

  80. We entered into the third quarter where we had the Jubilee season, and it was a celebrative season.

  81. Pastor Simon, you remember when we were talking about Jubilee, there was no budget, really.

  82. And through the efforts of that steering Jubilee team, God was able to bring forth resources.

  83. The fundraising team, people came just together.

  84. We had an amazing meeting at Sankara and we raised funds.

  85. And last Sunday, when I was listening to Dr.

  86. Mativo, uh just seeing the breakdown of what God had done.

  87. Indeed, it's a celebration that out of nowhere, God can pull resources.

  88. And that budget was met, and there was a surplus.

  89. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor you look like a surplus.

  90. Hallelujah.

  91. Tell your neighbor you're not a deficit.

  92. And God came through, and we finished we finished that that moment in time.

  93. Immediately after that, we were also going to the U.S.

  94. to celebrate the graduation of our daughter Lisa.

  95. And our tickets to go to the U.S.

  96. were paid for.

  97. Business class.

  98. I'm saying business class.

  99. Where you enter the plane and you're told to go left, and the rest are told go right.

  100. Hallelujah.

  101. That is that is not money that came from heaven, it came from people whom God has blessed in this church.

  102. And we want to just salute those people and thank God.

  103. While we were in the U.S., we had a great graduation, and Lisa has graduated with masters in nursing.

  104. I said masters in nursing.

  105. From one of the great universities, Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, Baltimore.

  106. And I know when I went there, you saw this outfit that I had.

  107. Oh, it is up here.

  108. Okay.

  109. In fact, and the shoes.

  110. Look at your neighbor and tell neighbor, look at the shoes.

  111. By the way, I don't know where you got that picture.

  112. But you know, I took that picture myself because that day we went to the hotel uh just to refresh and to to eat.

  113. And then Wakinamata was spending a lot of time in the hotel and it became so cold.

  114. And I walked out just to get the warmth outside.

  115. And because I'd been standing for some time, I pulled the shoes out.

  116. I got actually stood bare feet.

  117. And then I took a picture of the shoes.

  118. Just to remember that God gives us shoes.

  119. And there's a member in this church who actually said, Ambrose, you're not going to the U.S.

  120. just like that.

  121. I will dress you and Martha.

  122. And we salute that that grace that came to us.

  123. And just like Mike Panther was saying, that's what the church family is about.

  124. That we are able to stand with each other.

  125. There are things we may not do for everybody, but there are some things that are done.

  126. And when they are done, God is glorified.

  127. And it is you.

  128. So as a pastor, I'm coming to you, even with Pastor Simon, just saying, thank you that you stand with us in joyful times, in sad times, in times when we want to just see God lifted, but he just stands with God's people.

  129. We want to say thank you for the leadership and just for that encouragement.

  130. And we went, we traveled, by the way, we went to through London, went to Baltimore for the graduation.

  131. Then we traveled to New York.

  132. We were a big family at that time.

  133. Traveled to New York, went to Washington, DC, went to Virginia, and uh saw a family, Mr.

  134. Moasia and Sandra, had a great time with them, came back to Baltimore.

  135. Then we traveled back to London, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and then we went to Kangemi.

  136. So we just want to say thanks to God.

  137. That God is a good God.

  138. Amen.

  139. And for God to take you and bring you back safely, that in itself is a blessing.

  140. Amen.

  141. Why don't we give God a big hand and tell him thank you?

  142. Thank you.

  143. Thank you.

  144. And so we have entered the fourth quarter.

  145. First quarter, second quarter, third quarter.

  146. We've entered the fourth quarter.

  147. And in this fourth quarter, we are saying to God, we're going to finish strong.

  148. Amen.

  149. I also thank God that I was able to do the theme vision for 2027.

  150. The planner for 2027 is finished.

  151. And also this year, God put it on my heart to write a devotional for 365 days for 2027.

  152. So we are equipping you with everything you need.

  153. Bonas if you were.

  154. And it is a joy for me to do that.

  155. It is not, it is not a it is not such a big job.

  156. It's not part of my job description, but it's just a blessing to bless God's people and the community.

  157. And so receive thanks from me and Martha and the family.

  158. And all glory to God.

  159. Keep praying for Lisa.

  160. She's still in the U.S., beginning to pray for opportunities to be able to work in the U.S.

  161. There's an exam that she needs to do to be certified.

  162. So there are many things that are coming together to the glory of God.

  163. What has sustained us in life is God's word.

  164. The Bible says, man shall not live by bread alone, but by his word.

  165. God's word is his mind.

  166. The Bible says all scripture is inspired by God.

  167. Profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.

  168. One of the things we thank God about who he is, he's a God who speaks.

  169. He's a God who shares his mind with us.

  170. In Genesis, and God created the world.

  171. He said, and he said, let there be light.

  172. He spoke, God spoke, and he's still speaking.

  173. And then in the New Testament, he now spoke physically, and Jesus was born.

  174. Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.

  175. So one of the blessings we have, Pastor Simon, is that God has not left us without a word.

  176. That God is a speaking God.

  177. And he has put that word in this book.

  178. And that anytime we can hear his voice, anytime we can be guided and led by him.

  179. The Bible says in in Psalms chapter 1, verse 2, but his delight is in the law of the Lord.

    Psalms 1:2

  180. On his law, he meditates day and night.

  181. He's like a tree planted by streams of water that sends down its roots.

  182. Its leaf does not wither.

  183. It bears fruit in season.

  184. Whatever he does prospers.

  185. Tell your neighbor in this month of October, I'm going to prosper.

  186. Tell the neighbor who ignored you, this month I will prosper.

  187. Tell the neighbor who is envious, this month I will prosper.

  188. Hallelujah.

  189. Tell that neighbor who is not believing you, this month I will prosper.

  190. Tell your neighbor it is my month.

  191. It is October.

  192. It's the tenth month.

  193. I will prosper.

  194. Do you know why?

  195. Because the word of God says that his delight is in the law of the Lord.

  196. Delight.

  197. Delight.

  198. You know what the word delight means?

  199. It is only can be pictured, Pastor Simon.

  200. When a Lua passes near KFC, a delight arises.

  201. Now, if if believers can be passing near the Bible and then they delight.

  202. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, they meditate once in six months.

  203. They meditate day and night.

  204. Because God wants to speak to you during the day.

  205. The word of God is like the breath that you breathe in and breathe out.

  206. Because when God says, Ha, when God speaks and exhales his word, it's the breath of your spirit.

  207. And your spirit is energized, your spirit is strengthened.

  208. The Bible says, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles.

  209. When you find a Christian beginning to gasp, beginning to be wary, beginning to fall off, they have not been in the word.

  210. Now you don't have to study the word like a theologian, just receive the word as it is.

  211. And the word of God comes to us when there is no crisis.

  212. And it's my prayer that you'll allow God to speak to you when there is no crisis.

  213. But many times, because we're not listening, sometimes God speaks more clearly during a crisis.

  214. And so in the story of Jehoshaphat, there was a crisis, and there were various voices that were speaking.

  215. The crisis were three enemies attacked without warning.

  216. So let me read the verses for us.

  217. 2 Chronicles 20, verse 1.

    2 Chronicles 20:1

  218. The Bible says this King Jehoshaphat is just sitting having a good time one afternoon, and then this happens.

  219. After this, the Moabites and the Ammonites, with some of the Munites, came to wage war against Jehoshaphat.

  220. The first voice he gets to hear is from the people.

  221. And many times it is people who will come to you and tell you of a crisis.

  222. You are just fine, but they send you a text, a WhatsApp, they tell you there's a voice.

  223. People speak, they say things.

  224. The newspapers will say things, the headlines will say things, breaking news will say things.

  225. Those are the voices.

  226. So some people came and told Jehoshaphat, a vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Dead Sea.

  227. And this really affected Jehoshaphat.

  228. Look at verse 3.

  229. The Bible says in verse 3, he was alarmed.

  230. But then Jehoshaphat being Jehoshaphat, having had quiet time, Pastor Simon, he suddenly resolved to inquire of the Lord.

  231. And then he proclaimed a fast.

  232. And he started talking to the people of Judah and just talking to them, and they started calling on God.

  233. Look at verse 5.

  234. Then Joseph stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the Lord in the front of the courtyard.

  235. He's talking to God.

  236. And he's saying, Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven?

  237. You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations.

  238. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.

  239. Our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants?

  240. So he's telling God about all these things.

  241. Around verse 10, if you can just go down to verse 10, the Bible says this, he's still talking, and he says, But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Sah, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt.

  242. So they turned away from them and did not destroy them.

  243. Now see how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession.

  244. You gave us as an inheritance our God.

  245. Will you not judge them?

  246. For we have no power.

  247. Now he's talking to himself.

  248. Now he's saying, Lord, we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us.

  249. We do not know what to do, we are helpless.

  250. But then he said something special, but our eyes are on you.

  251. And that's when he gave God a chance to speak.

  252. So people spoke.

  253. Jehoshaphat spoke because we speak and react to what is happening to us.

  254. But he needed a word.

  255. Tell your neighbor, God has a word for you.

  256. Tell your other neighbor, God has a word for you.

  257. And let me tell you this: when God speaks, sometimes you ask yourself, how does he sound like?

  258. Does he speak in a loud voice?

  259. Because for us who watch movies, we hear God will come and say, first of all, you need to hear a sound.

  260. And then God says, Pastor Simon, I have come.

  261. Now that is not God.

  262. Because God is able to calibrate his voice so that you can receive it.

  263. You remember the boy Samuel?

  264. Samuel is sleeping, and God is trying to talk to this boy.

  265. This boy has never heard God speak.

  266. And so when God speaks and says, Samuel, Samuel, the voice sounded exactly like the voice of Eli.

  267. And so he, because Samuel was used to listening to Eli.

  268. So he thinks it is Eli calling him.

  269. So he goes to Eli and says, Did you call me?

  270. Eli says, No, I did not call you.

  271. He goes back to sleep and God speaks to him, Samuel.

  272. Samuel.

  273. He wakes up again.

  274. Then soon Eli realizes God is talking to this boy and he doesn't know.

  275. Says the next time God talks to you, say, Here I am.

  276. And so when God spoke again, Samuel said, I am here, Lord.

  277. And God gave him the message.

  278. Now for Jehoshaphat, God spoke.

  279. So look at verse 14.

  280. The Bible says this.

  281. Then the Spirit of the Lord came on who?

  282. On Jahazia.

  283. So God will speak to you through people.

  284. People, normal people.

  285. So look at your look at your neighbor.

  286. If there is a normal person next to you, just just look.

  287. Are they normal or are they extra normal?

  288. So but ask yourself, just look at them once again and ask yourself, can God actually talk through this person to me?

  289. There's a wife who just looked at her husband and said, No, no, no, no, no, no.

  290. God's voice cannot come from this direction.

  291. But you know, for stubborn people, God has used even donkeys to speak.

  292. And even when he spoke, they were not listening.

  293. Jesus said, if the if you don't praise God, even the rocks will praise them.

  294. But God uses people.

  295. When the Spirit of God comes upon a man of God, he will speak.

  296. Every time we stand on this pulpit, God is speaking.

  297. It may be the pastor, it may be a deacon, it may be a worship leader, but God is speaking.

  298. It may be a house girl.

  299. Hallelujah.

  300. And God did that in the Bible.

  301. When God spoke to Naaman the leper through a house girl.

  302. The important thing is not the instrument, but the message.

  303. And listen to what he said in verse 15.

  304. This is how the message came.

  305. The Bible says this, and he needed to hear this.

  306. In verse 15, listen, King Jehoshaphat, and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem.

  307. This is what the Lord says to you.

  308. Why?

  309. They were afraid.

  310. Do not be discouraged.

  311. They were discouraged.

  312. Why?

  313. Because of the vast army.

  314. And then God said, For the battle is not yours, but God's a very simple statement.

  315. Jehoshaphat was ready to fight.

  316. Whatever happens, because there are three armies.

  317. He's the king, he has to take a lead.

  318. And then God says, uh-uh-uh-uh, step aside.

  319. The fight is mine.

  320. The fight is mine.

  321. Let me tell you this: there are mountains coming your way, there are armies coming your way.

  322. There are armies of debt, armies of discouragement, of sickness, armies.

  323. And God is saying, Fear not, step aside.

  324. I'll fight that one.

  325. There are battles you don't have to fight.

  326. And you know, God custom makes his word for various peoples because the consum, when David came back home and found everything had been taken, his wives and everything, David went to God and said, Should I pursue?

  327. And God said what?

  328. Pursue.

  329. But in the case of Jehoshaphat, God said, I am fighting this one.

  330. I'm talking to somebody and saying, in this month of October, step aside.

  331. I am fighting this one.

  332. The battle is whose?

  333. It's God's.

  334. And so I summarize my message today to let you know that God's word is a great idea.

  335. Tell your neighbor it's a great idea.

  336. An idea is a thought, an idea is something that comes from our mind.

  337. And this mind is the mind of God.

  338. And God is giving us an idea, great idea, and his idea is God's word.

  339. And when God gives us an idea, he also adds on top of those ideas and gives us many things.

  340. Now, the word idea has how many letters?

  341. Hello?

  342. Idea has how many?

  343. Idea.

  344. When you add an S, there are how many?

  345. Five.

  346. Now don't worry about the ringing.

  347. So look at your neighbor one more time and tell your neighbor God is not saying anything now.

  348. I think the bell has been triggered, but it will be sorted.

  349. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor the ringing was not part of God saying anything.

  350. So ideas.

  351. So I want to summarize my message by saying I D E A S stands for this.

  352. I stands for insight.

  353. God's word gives us insight.

  354. D, God's word gives us directives.

  355. E, God's word gives us encouragement.

  356. A God's word gives us an ability to take action.

  357. And S God's word brings supply to us.

  358. I repeat, God's word gives us insight.

  359. Then God's word gives us directives.

  360. Then God's word gives us encouragement.

  361. Then God gives us ability to take action.

  362. And then God's word releases supply to us.

  363. So when God was speaking to Jehoshaphat, all those five things were going to happen.

  364. Let me start with insight.

  365. So, Pastor Simon, there's a backing.

  366. Logically, we fight.

  367. But then God speaks into the insight into the problem, into the situation, and he gives you an insight.

  368. He says, uh-uh, you thought it is a fight.

  369. Uh-uh.

  370. Today I'll do the fighting.

  371. It's called insight.

  372. When Jesus attended a wedding in Khan of Galilee, they had no wine.

  373. The mother of Jesus comes and tells Jesus, they have no mind.

  374. Then Jesus is sitting there per summon.

  375. I think he's thinking and says, God, you what do you want me to do?

  376. Can we go buy more wine?

  377. And God gives him insight.

  378. He says, uh-uh.

  379. Go tell the servants to fill the barrels, six jars with water.

  380. An insight.

  381. And you know, sometimes that insight is against your logic because it doesn't work like that.

  382. But God can give a solution that is not logical.

  383. But when you act on it, something happens.

  384. Jesus acted on the insight, tells the people, fill these things with water, they fill it, take some of it to the master ceremonies, and it is wonderful wine.

  385. So God says, This fight is not your fight.

  386. This battle is not your battle.

  387. Then he says, You step aside, see what I'm going to do.

  388. God wants to give insight.

  389. The Bible says, by wisdom, a house is built.

  390. By understanding, it is established.

  391. By knowledge, its rooms are filled with precious treasures.

  392. And you know, Pastor Simon was thinking about it, this story, it concerned an entire nation.

  393. And the king was wondering, what do we do?

  394. You know, when I was reading that, I asked myself, Kenya may be facing all kinds of situations.

  395. But can God give the king a word?

  396. And can God put that word in a prophet?

  397. And can that prophet speak the word?

  398. An entire nation shifts.

  399. Hello?

  400. He can do it to an individual, he can do it to a family, he can do it to a business, he can do it to a city, he can do it to a nation.

  401. God is not limited in how he releases insight.

  402. May God give you insight this month.

  403. I'm saying, may God give you insight this month.

  404. But in the process, God even gave him a directive.

  405. God said, There's something I want you to do.

  406. Look at that same chapter 15, verse 15.

  407. The Bible says, now God is giving a directive.

  408. Number one, he says, because they were so scared, he says, do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.

  409. Don't be scared by this debt.

  410. It is too big.

  411. Don't be scared.

  412. But God, how will I pay?

  413. God says, leave that to me.

  414. I'm going to, I know what to do.

  415. Let me tell you this.

  416. Many of us stumble and fall, not because of anything, but because we panicked.

  417. We pressed the panic button.

  418. And our brain stopped functioning.

  419. We stopped thinking.

  420. Do you know?

  421. But God is saying, number one, this is a directive.

  422. Stop being afraid.

  423. Do not be discouraged.

  424. Why?

  425. So God tells him why.

  426. Huh?

  427. Keep reading that verse.

  428. Let me finish that verse quickly.

  429. Do not be afraid to describe because of this verse to me.

  430. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

  431. There's one time I said, Don't talk to God about your mountains.

  432. But talk to your mountains about God.

  433. Speak to that mountain.

  434. Speak to that mountain.

  435. Impossibilities will become possible.

  436. So God began to give a directive.

  437. Then God still goes ahead and says, I want you to do something.

  438. Tomorrow I want you to do something.

  439. Verse 16, tomorrow, march down to them.

  440. Do something is a directive.

  441. And you know somebody may be sitting in this service today.

  442. Tomorrow is Monday.

  443. And God is saying, Tomorrow.

  444. Don't wait next week.

  445. Tomorrow.

  446. Your miracle starts tomorrow.

  447. I'm talking to somebody, I'm saying tomorrow.

  448. Take action.

  449. Don't go fight, but position yourself.

  450. I stands for what?

  451. I stands for D stands for.

  452. Then E stands for encouragement.

  453. God needed to encourage these people.

  454. You do not need to fight.

  455. Be still.

  456. Position yourself.

  457. Because I am with you.

  458. And let me tell you this.

  459. The Bible is an encouragement.

  460. Especially now when you are reading Psalms.

  461. You know, Psalms 121 says, I look up to the mountains.

  462. Where does my help come from?

  463. My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

  464. He doesn't sleep, he doesn't slumber.

  465. It's a good verse.

  466. Psalms 23.

  467. The Lord is my shepherd.

  468. I shall not want.

  469. He makes me lie down in green pastures.

  470. Philippians 4.19.

  471. My God shall supply.

  472. God encourages us.

  473. God is not out trying to kill you.

  474. You know, sometimes we think that God is a policeman.

  475. God is checking you.

  476. What are you doing?

  477. What are you doing?

  478. Okay.

  479. You've just lied, my friend.

  480. Release another lie.

  481. And you're going to be hit by a matri.

  482. God is not threatening us.

  483. The Bible says there's therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

  484. Some of us, the relationships we have with God is like He's a judge just ready to kill us.

  485. But let me tell you this: the word of God is full of such encouraging scriptures.

  486. Because God wants to give us insight, he wants to give us a directive, and he wants to give us encouragement.

  487. The Bible says, therefore, encourage one another with these words.

  488. That's the God we serve.

  489. Tell your neighbor that's the God we serve.

  490. And then, actually, these guys did something.

  491. I go to verse 21.

  492. The Bible says this.

  493. After they had consulted, put together a worship team, the Bible says in verse 21, after consulting the people.

  494. Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing.

  495. Now that's the wrong thing to do.

  496. I mean, there are militaries coming against you.

  497. Who do you get?

  498. The military to deal with these people.

  499. But can you imagine the military is coming and the worship team has been sent forward?

  500. Your story in Asia.

  501. But God's ways are not our ways.

  502. And sometimes let me tell you this when you receive bad news, when you receive a big uh uh letter from the bank that this, this, and this is happening, instead of saying, way, way, way, way, we say hallelujah.

  503. It repositions you.

  504. Amen.

  505. You look at God again.

  506. Now, some of you it will need to take some time, just psych yourself.

  507. At first, it will start weakly, but slowly, as you begin to say that hallelujah, it will rework your system, it will rework your mind.

  508. And then God will tell you what you need to do.

  509. And these guys put together a worship team, and all they needed to do was praise.

  510. So let me finish that sentence.

  511. After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness.

  512. Uh, and they were not just singing, oh Jehovah, save us, save us, Jehovah, oh, save us.

  513. You know, you can create songs like that.

  514. Mungu to side, mungu to side, to kokari, bukufar, mungu to side.

  515. Instead, they said, Give thanks to the Lord for his love.

  516. That's all they did.

  517. That's all they did.

  518. The Bible says in the next verse, I like this, Pastor Simon.

  519. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seyer.

  520. In other words, he just confused that crowd.

  521. So the three enemies, two of them four to the one, destroy them completely.

  522. When they finished, look at this verse.

  523. The Ammonites and Amabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and he late.

  524. In other words, don't leave anyone alive.

  525. After they finished, this is just crazy, slaughtering the men from Seah, they then helped to destroy.

  526. They forgot the enemy.

  527. Let me tell you this God can cause those opposing you to oppose themselves before they show up.

  528. May the devil and his forces be thoroughly confused this week in your life.

  529. May they fight among themselves, may the enemy be destroyed.

  530. Why?

  531. Because the battle is not yours.

  532. God has taken over.

  533. I'm saying God has taken over.

  534. And so they took action, they sang, they worshiped, they praised God.

  535. So when you get an insight and a directive, an encouragement, then you take action.

  536. Amen.

  537. So, like today, as you leave church today, ask yourself, what action am I going to take?

  538. For some of you, the action is not even based on what I've preached.

  539. The action may be what Mike Panther talked about.

  540. That's part of the message.

  541. Or one of the singing your the songs you are singing.

  542. Kijito.

  543. That spring, I'm going to drink out of it.

  544. Take action.

  545. You're going to thank God because His love endures forever.

  546. You're going to do something.

  547. You're going to sing.

  548. Stop complaining.

  549. But listen to God because God likes to speak.

  550. But then finally, I stands for what?

  551. I stands for what?

  552. D stands for what?

  553. E stands for what?

  554. A stands for what?

  555. And then I like S.

  556. It stands for supply.

  557. Because in all these problems, God was thinking of supply.

  558. So look at verse 25.

  559. In verse 25, when these people had killed themselves and finished, the Bible says, so Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder.

  560. And they found among a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value, more than they could take away.

  561. There was so much plunder, so much plunder, so much plunder, so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.

  562. Look at the next verse.

  563. On the fourth day, they assembled in the valley of Baraka.

  564. That's why you get the Xoili word Baraka, where they praised the Lord.

  565. This is why it is called the Valley of Baraka to this day.

  566. And if you read the next verse, you know, they just went back having fun, rejoicing, and celebrating the goodness of the Lord.

  567. You know, then led by Joseph, all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem.

  568. For the Lord had given them a cause to rejoice over their enemies.

  569. May that be your portion in the month of month of October.

  570. In Jesus' name.

  571. May God give you a cause to rejoice.

  572. So look at your neighbor one more time and tell your neighbor, God is going to give me a cause to rejoice.

  573. This month.

  574. Tell your neighbor it's not next month.

  575. Tell your neighbor it is this month.

  576. You know, your salary might be tripled this month.

  577. Somebody saying I wish.

  578. Now, if you said I wish, it will not happen.

  579. You better say, I receive it.

  580. I take it.

  581. You know, God can give you a surprise.

  582. A surprise month.

  583. You're planning for November.

  584. But this month, this week, something can shift because the battle is not yours.

  585. The battle is the Lord's.

  586. I stands for what?

  587. D stands for what?

  588. E stands for what?

  589. A stands for what?

  590. A stands for what?

  591. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches.

  592. In glory in Christ Jesus.

  593. One of the things we said about Jubilee, see.

  594. On we were saying and believing that God is going to cause so much resources to come that we are going to surpass the billion mark.

  595. Let me say it again because you are quiet.

  596. So let me say it again.

  597. God is going to give us so much resource.

  598. We are going in terms of our tithes and offering and resources coming through parquis, we'll hit the one billion mark.

  599. Now it just I want I want I want to say it one more time because I want God to feel that you really are expecting that.

  600. So I'm saying that God is going to cause resources to pass through Parquis so much that Mike Panther will have no problems putting together wheelchairs.

  601. Hello?

  602. If God gives us a billion, it will be very easy to give him a million.

  603. Hello?

  604. Or two or two million or five.

  605. Just a check and it's it's gone.

  606. Is God good?

  607. Now don't think about yourself.

  608. You're thinking of a billion when you're looking at yourself.

  609. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor.

  610. I'm not talking about you.

  611. Tell your neighbor, I'm talking about God.

  612. Hallelujah.

  613. And God channeling a million, a billion through us.

  614. Because you can imagine in a short time the amount of money we raised for the jubilee season.

  615. And it came through you.

  616. Isn't God good?

  617. They said they collected and collected until the fourth day.

  618. May God surprise you this week.

  619. I'm saying, may God surprise you this week.

  620. Hallelujah.

  621. May God surprise you this week.

  622. May God surprise you this week.

  623. And God has surprised us, Martin, myself, and even the church, God has surprised us.

  624. So why don't we expect another surprise?

  625. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor.

  626. First of all, think of the surprise.

  627. Now, if you think of the surprise, it is also a surprise.

  628. So just say I'm expecting something from God.

  629. Hallelujah.

  630. But that something can come in a way that is not the right way for you.

  631. Because for them, it took three armies to bring what they needed.

  632. For them, it was an attack.

  633. For God, these were delivery people.

  634. So your problem can be a delivery opportunity.

  635. Your enemies can be just deliveries on a motorbike, bringing the resources to you in Jesus' name.

  636. May God come through for you.

  637. May God blow your mind this week.

  638. May God expand your territory this week.

  639. Because you know, for God, it doesn't take much, it just takes 24 hours.

  640. And things shift in your life.

  641. Tell your neighbor there's a switch happening already right now in Jesus' name.

  642. Before I pray, I just want to give a shout out to Emily and Mr.

  643. Ngay having an anniversary and blessings.

  644. Emily, stand up, we celebrate you and your husband, Mr.

  645. Ngay.

  646. Hallelujah.

  647. Many years.

  648. Ningapi Karibu Sasa.

  649. 28 years.

  650. Now for some of you who are just celebrating six months.

  651. All things are possible.

  652. And for some of you, the month has not even started, like my brother Isaac.

  653. Hello.

  654. All things are so let's give another hand to Mr.

  655. and Mrs.

  656. Gay.

  657. Amen.

  658. God bless you.

  659. Anybody else celebrating anniversaries this month?

  660. Wedding anniversary?

  661. Oh, there you are.

  662. God bless you.

  663. Anybody else?

  664. Up there.

  665. God bless you.

  666. Upand the woo?

  667. Oh, right there.

  668. Happy anniversary.

  669. God bless you.

  670. This way?

  671. Somewhere, somewhere.

  672. Amen.

  673. God bless you.

  674. Oh, oh, ambassador.

  675. You're having an anniversary.

  676. When?

  677. You're checking with your wife.

  678. This is very serious.

  679. Susan, please tell him.

  680. Twenty-first.

  681. Thirty-four years.

  682. Amen.

  683. God bless you.

  684. By the way, I don't blame the ambassador here.

  685. Because for men, it's not an issue.

  686. Now, let me also ask somebody because God will surprise you.

  687. Maybe that those were not married, but you're expecting an anniversary to show up.

  688. I see a hand there, my sister.

  689. I see another hand.

  690. I see another hand there.

  691. Yes.

  692. By the way, why are only the ladies lifting up?

  693. Oh, thank you, God, thank you.

  694. I see a brother there.

  695. Hallelujah.

  696. Anniversaries are coming up.

  697. Yes, my sister.

  698. God bless you.

  699. Apachini.

  700. Animal Corner.

  701. Yes.

  702. Receive it.

  703. Take it.

  704. In Jesus' name.

  705. So, Deacon Sam, one of these days, October, we'll have many weddings.

  706. Hallelujah.

  707. Now look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor remember the great ideas.

  708. Stand on your feet.

  709. Are you glad you came?

  710. I'm glad I came.

  711. I'm blessed.

  712. I'm also expecting surprises from God.

  713. Pastor Simon, start your way here.

  714. Amen.

  715. Let us appreciate Reverend Ambrose.

  716. Thank you very much.

  717. Reverend Ambrose, thank you for that message and also for the testimony of how God has worked since January until now.

  718. And as an altar and as a church, we receive it, we take it back to God.

  719. Remember, we keep telling the congregation next Sunday you are coming with a testimony.

  720. Pastor Ambrose has come back with a testimony.

  721. Why don't you appreciate God for that?

  722. Thank you.

  723. Thank you.

  724. Thank you very much.

  725. Once again, let's appreciate this team.

  726. Let's big a hand.

  727. Give a hand to the Lord.

  728. Thank you.

  729. Thank you.

  730. Thank you.

  731. Give a big hand to God.

  732. Our God is wonderful.

  733. We really appreciate this team.

  734. It's been a very special Sunday, one we shall remember for years and years to come.

  735. Mike Panther, thank you for sowing this seed together with this team among us here today.

  736. We appreciate that.

  737. Today we take our benediction from Numbers chapter 6, verse 24 to verse 26.

    Numbers 6:24

  738. It is called the priestly blessing commanded to Aaron and his sons that they would share it with the children of Israel.

  739. And so I borrow from there in releasing the benediction today.

  740. And it's got six tenets of facets in that benediction.

  741. Number six, verse 24 to verse 26.

  742. As we come to the benediction, remember what Pastor Amrose has shared.

  743. God has taken over, and God is giving you a reason to rejoice the subject, liberating power, word, insight, directive, encouragement message.

  744. The Lord keep you, the Lord cause his face to shine upon you, the Lord be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you, the Lord give you peace in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  745. And we all say, We all say, Glory to God.

  746. And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit with us now and forever.

  747. Amen.

  748. Sure.

  749. And mercy follow me for the days of my life in the house of the Lord forever and ever and ever.

  750. Amen.

  751. Shalom.
