We are going to be reading the scriptures as we hear the word of God this beautiful day.
-
James chapter 1, verse 19 to 25.
-
The book of James, this was written by the brother of Jesus.
-
After Jesus had left, James believed and he wrote this book.
-
James chapter 1, verse 19.
-
The Bible says, My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this.
-
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
-
Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
-
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that's so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in you which can save you.
-
Do not merely listen to the word and deceive yourself.
-
Do what it says.
-
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and after looking at himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
-
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that into perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it, not forgetting what they have had, but doing it.
-
They will be blessed in what they do.
-
They will be so blessed in what they do when you have your seats in Jesus' name.
-
Father, I thank you for your word brings hope.
-
And I know that, Lord, you have prepared us this day that we may experience your hope.
-
I pray as I speak this word, this beautiful day, hope shall be planted in your children's life.
-
Life shall come in them, light shall be upon them, because the entrance of the word brings forth light and understanding into simple things.
-
I pray this day that the word of God may bring hope, hope that cannot disappoint.
-
I pray that the peace of God may rest upon us.
-
Thank you, because Lord, you have anointed my lips at this season and this time.
-
That as I speak your word, the Lord, I will not speak my thoughts and my ideas, but I speak your word because your word is the only thing that can change.
-
And because it's alive, I believe that, Lord, this day I speak life to your children.
-
For it is in Jesus' name I pray.
-
Amen.
-
I'm so blessed to be here.
-
My name is Deacon Timothy, and I'm so honored to be part of this service this day and to share the word of God.
-
I want to take this opportunity to really honor God for honoring me and giving me a chance to come and speak to such a great multitude.
-
I don't take it for granted.
-
And I'm so blessed, and I'll never take it for granted every time God gives me such a great opportunity.
-
I also want to appreciate our readers, our fathers, Pastor Simon, Pastor Ambrose, for trusting this young man to speak the word of God for your mentoring, your friendship, and always being there to support me.
-
I am so grateful, forever grateful.
-
May the Lord bless you so much.
-
So blessed.
-
I'm gonna tell you, I'm so blessed.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
The day you get such an opportunity, you'll know what it means to be blessed.
-
I'm blessed and I thank God.
-
I also want to appreciate my wife.
-
She's in the house, my girl, Pascalina.
-
There she is with our children.
-
David and Joshua, they are birthing.
-
They had told me that we shall not stand if you dare call our names.
-
But they are there, and I thank God for them.
-
Today we are going to hear the word of God, but before I do that, I was given an announcement.
-
After this service, we have exhibitors who will be in our gardens, the green gardens up there where we have a field.
-
We are going to serve tea because of miles miles for meal.
-
Meals for miles, whichever.
-
Fine.
-
We are meeting there after the church.
-
And so we have some tea for you there.
-
We want you to see some of our exhibitors who supported that program.
-
They will be sharing what they do.
-
And so please, after the service, don't be in a hurry.
-
Go to the Green Gardens and you find us there.
-
This month, we are talking about the power, the liberating power of the Word of God.
-
The liberating power of the Word of God.
-
So those who are very keen, like myself, who always follow this book, the theme book after it has been written, it is so interesting to see how God has been speaking for us to us for the last two months.
-
In the month of August, God started to speak to us about liberating power of adoption, sonship connected.
-
And God was able to explain to us that he bought us with a price, and now we are the children of God.
-
God started to speak to us and tell us that we are not Arians, but we are his children, and that he has adopted us to his family, and now we are the sons of God.
-
The Bible says in the book of John, chapter 1, verse 12, that those who believe he gave them the right to become the children of God.
-
And because of that light that Jesus gave us, now we are the children of God.
-
And so we took time in Agas just to explain to each one of us that you are a child of God, that you belong to God.
-
The Bible says in the book of Romans, chapter 8, verse 15, that He gave us the right to call Him Abba Father.
-
Because we are the children of God.
-
And so we took time to explain to you that you are not outside, you are in the family.
-
And for those who have never had a father, we came to tell you that God is your father.
-
For those who are fathers who have not portrayed the space or the way God wants our father to be, God came to speak to you and tell you, I'm still the father.
-
And so we took time to explain to each one of us to understand that you have a father who is in heaven.
-
And then we went to the month of September when you started to talk about that rebirthing power of the kingdom.
-
And the father who adopted you and made him to be your father is not just a headmaster or a watchman, but he is a king.
-
And now you have to understand that you're not only a mere son, but you are a prince because your father is a king.
-
And so when you say that you're a son, adopted by God, adopted by God, a father who is a king, you have to understand now you are a royalty.
-
And so the scripture says that once we were not a people, but now we are a people through adoption.
-
And it doesn't stop there, it says a royal priesthood.
-
So you are a son of a king.
-
And because you are a son of a king, you have authority in this kingdom to registrate.
-
And now we come to this month where we talk about the rebirthing power of the word of God.
-
What that means is the word gives you the legitimacy to be called the sons of God.
-
This word that we are talking about is the word that now you cannot just, if somebody asks you, How did you become a son?
-
And a son in the kingdom, you can tell them, I have a certificate.
-
And this certificate is a written certificate, and that's the word of God.
-
So if the devil tells you, How are you the son of God?
-
you can take him straight to the book of 1 John chapter 3 verse 1.
-
Let's read it.
-
And that is what we are.
-
So if he ever asked, Where do you belong?
-
you can tell him, go to John chapter, 1 John chapter 3, verse 1, and you'll see that I'm a child of the kingdom because God made me a kingdom.
-
So when we talked about being sons, and we said that these sons are in the kingdom, we were not just faking it because we have a certificate that can prove that we are sons of God.
-
Any child born, the day you were born, one of the things that happened is that they gave a writing to say that you have been born.
-
And so so those who are born, they were written a notification of saying a child has been born in the year 1980, the July 2028, that July 20th, July 28th, 1980, a boy was born in Kenyatta and a notification was given that Timothy Degwa has been born.
-
And now I got a certificate.
-
So the day you wanted to send Burundians away, you could not have sent me.
-
Because I have a certificate that talks about my legitimacy of being born here.
-
So every one of us who are the children of God cannot be sent away because there is a certificate that shows your legitimacy of being in the kingdom of God, and that's the word of God.
-
Every time we walk in this nation, you walk with pride because you have a certificate.
-
Even if you were born at home, the chief wrote at notification and said, There is a child who has been born in Budrawangi called Otieno.
-
And so that paper was taken now to the registrar, and the registrar gave you a birth certificate.
-
Now you are a citizen of Kenya.
-
When they talk about the benefits of Kenyans, you have the benefit of Kenya that has been written in the constitution.
-
For me, I am in the kingdom of God.
-
I benefit from every word that has been spoken in this word.
-
So when the devil tells me you cannot do that, I take him to Philippians and say, I can do all things.
-
Who gives me strength?
-
When he tells me you're forgotten, I tell you he cannot leave me nor forsake me, but because it's written in our constitution of our kingdom.
-
When they tell me that I am the last, I take them to dictatomy and tell them I'm the head and not the tail because it's written in my book.
-
My certificate.
-
You know, I traveled the other time and I realized that Pastor Ambrose, there's something has not been telling us.
-
That he had been telling us just to get a passport.
-
What he didn't tell you is that when you go to a foreign country, you have to answer some few questions.
-
The first question they ask you, you know, when you get there, they ask you, get a visa now, they ask you where you're going to sleep, where is your money and all that kind of things.
-
But when you get the other side, you find a guy in the immigration who looks you from the head to toe and asks you, where are you coming from?
-
Like he cannot read.
-
The other thing he asks you, where will you be sleeping?
-
And what time will you leave this country just because you're not a citizen?
-
If that place you start, you know, that place I realized.
-
You know, there's those queue.
-
One is for the foreigners, those who are coming, and the other one is for the residents, those ones are just moving, moving.
-
These are the sides, there is a such a kawoga, everyone is going slowly.
-
Behaving wholly, because you'll be asked some questions.
-
That's where you see the original chat GPT.
-
It answers questions straight.
-
If you dare say I will think about it, I will figure out.
-
Woo-hoo, you'll be back to Keno.
-
The moment you start telling them I have not figured out, you should have figured out when you are there before you come here.
-
Because you're not a resident.
-
But wait the day you're coming back.
-
Woo-hoo! You know, you're coming.
-
I don't care where I will sleep, I don't care what I will eat.
-
The scripture says, Do not worry what you eat and drink, because I have already provided you are a citizen.
-
The day you're coming back, you come now ready them to ask you such a question.
-
You they will ask you, How are you going to go to Kagami?
-
I will walk.
-
Who is picking you?
-
I don't know.
-
Yet they will still allow you in.
-
Go the other side and say, I don't know.
-
You will go home and know, then come back again.
-
The word of God give us a certificate that when we go to God, we go to God as citizens.
-
Are his children, the people of God that are called by his name, that are called these are my children.
-
So when they pray, they pray like citizens.
-
The word of God gives us the legitimacy of being in the presence of God.
-
This morning when I was reading this book, Pastor Ambrose, I don't know if you remember, you wrote this in page 158.
-
The word of God establish our regal rights in the kingdom of God.
-
That's the second last sentence in that page.
-
I jumped out and said, God, you have confirmed it.
-
That the right that is established our legal rights in the kingdom of God.
-
This word gives you the regarity of your prayer.
-
When you pray, you don't pray like a foreigner, you pray like a child of God.
-
Because the kingdom of God has been established in you through the word of God.
-
The Bible says, in the beginning there was word, and the word was with God, and God was the word, and he became flesh.
-
And now he lives amongst us.
-
I have the power that comes from the word.
-
The authority I speak here this morning is not my own authority, it's the authority of the legitimacy that God has given me based on his word.
-
And so today, when I proclaim that the Lord saves, he saves because his word says so.
-
So this morning I came to tell you about the power of the word of God.
-
One of the things when you become the Son of God is that the word of God, and that's our first point, is that it expels sin out of our lives.
-
The word of God expels sin out of your out of your life.
-
The Bible says in the book of Psalms 119, verse 11, that I have taken the word of God and I have hidden it in my heart that I may not sin against God.
-
The moment you subject yourself to the word of God, sin melts.
-
Psalms 51, verse 7 says what?
-
It says that he purges me.
-
He purges me and make me white as snow.
-
Let me tell you, one of the things that the word of God cannot stay with is the sin nature.
-
You have a habit that is giving you trouble and problem, subject it to the word of God.
-
As a son, you have power and authority because the Bible says in the book of Romans 6 that we have died with Christ and raised in him that we may live in newness of life.
-
You can master sin if you are this kind of a person that spends time in the word of God.
-
The more you eat the word of God, the more the word of God enters in your life, the more the word of God gets into your system.
-
Sin is expelled.
-
Psalms 119, verse 130 says that the word of God, the entrance of the word of God, bring forth light.
-
Any darkness can be expelled with the word of God.
-
There are families that are in this place.
-
The only thing that is going to change it is not because of your family meetings, it is how you subject your family to the word.
-
The only thing that is going to change you, young people, to become what God wants you to become is when you subject yourself to the word.
-
Because the word of God expels sin.
-
I'm telling you, there is power in the word of God.
-
The Bible says, wherever you have read James chapter 1, verse 21, get rid of those moral fields and evil that prevail prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
-
The word of God, when it is in your life, it brings salvation.
-
What can maintain us, what can make a man from drunkenness to a life of holiness is the word.
-
What can change your habits?
-
It is word.
-
I believe in counseling, I believe in talking, I believe in praying for other people.
-
But I believe that if you subject yourself to the word, there are things that are going to die.
-
The more you have appetite of the word, sin becomes so small in your life.
-
Because God has given you power over sin.
-
No temptation that has overtaken you that is not common to man.
-
But God makes a way for every temptation that comes so that you can become what God has called you to be.
-
The word of God expels sin.
-
Look at somebody and tell them the word of God expels sin.
-
Yes.
-
The Bible says in the book of Psalms 1, Blessed is the man who doesn't sit in the seat of the scorners, neither does he walk in the ways of the unrighteous.
-
But his desires in the word of the Lord.
-
In the word of the Lord, he meditates day and night.
-
Such a person is like a tree planted by the river's side that cannot wither.
-
God speaking to Joshua, he told him that the book of law never depart out of your mouth.
-
Meditate it upon day and night.
-
And in whatever you do, you shall succeed.
-
Today we are privileged.
-
We have Bibles in audio.
-
We have Bibles in our gadgets.
-
We can put it in our ears and listen for a whole chapter as you go to work in the Mathri.
-
And you're hearing the word of God.
-
And you're putting yourself, you're subjecting yourself to the word of God.
-
Take time and study the word of God.
-
That's the only thing that will change you.
-
The word of God expels sin.
-
Utumutu munaga tu kolo su zabi zambi mingi.
-
Check their word.
-
Hawananga word.
-
Jumping from here to there.
-
Ati kakonazambi, ukikangalia ni zambi to anything that this kapoy, this ka girl speaks in the house is to sin, sin, sin, sin, kakimaliza kakaka thambi, kengine kameyanziapa.
-
Subject them to the word.
-
You'll be so surprised how it's going to die.
-
Check your neighbor is in the Bible study.
-
Just tap them and let's check if they are in the Bible study.
-
These are people that need the word because the word of God expels sin out of our lives and that makes us the children of God.
-
And we live in this kingdom that has power.
-
The second point is that the word of God brings protection.
-
The word of God brings protection from deception.
-
It brings protection, it brings spiritual guidance and wisdom, and brings protection against temptation.
-
James chapter 1, verse 22 says, What do not merry into the word and so deceive yourself.
-
Do what it says.
-
The word of God is not only to be listened to, it needs a man to start to practice it.
-
And in the first service, I gave them an instruction.
-
I told them, When we give our lives to Christ, like now you're seated there, if I tell you, if you're not received Jesus Christ, come here and I'll pray for you.
-
And so we pray for you that uh sinner's prayer.
-
That process of coming there praying for you and going to sit down, that process is called justification.
-
So you are in this side where you are condemned.
-
The moment we make that prayer, you are justified.
-
That is justification.
-
Straight, if God was to come that minute, you and him to heaven.
-
And I said some of you will come even when they are high and drunk.
-
And the moment you make that prayer, if Christ was to come, you straight go to heaven.
-
That process is called justification.
-
Yeah, I can see some people who are thinking now, serious.
-
So if he came when I was high, I can make it to heaven when I'm high.
-
Let me tell you the power that you subject yourself to of the word it parts the water, makes the heavens come down upon your life, it makes the even the mountain to quake.
-
So by the time you're thinking if you're high or not, it will have begun with your highness.
-
But that was not the Topic.
-
The topic was justification.
-
No, you are justified.
-
But let me tell you, it doesn't stop there.
-
There is a process that kicks in from that moment.
-
I gave my life when I was 13 years old.
-
I'm around 45 years now.
-
From the time I gave my life to Christ, that day, justification happened.
-
Now, what has been happening is something we call sanctification.
-
Tell your neighbor, sanctification.
-
The sanctification is the process of becoming Christ-like.
-
Where Christ has been changing me, making me to become what he wants me to be.
-
And the only thing that can make you go through sanctification is the word of God.
-
From the day you were made a citizen in the kingdom of God, the work of sanctification came in your life, it kicked in, and every day I'm being changed.
-
The Timothy you are dealing with in 2026 is not the same Timor was 2025.
-
Christ has been making me through his word.
-
The word of God is the one that makes us.
-
I become a doer of the word of God.
-
So now I'm no longer slave to sin.
-
I've offered my body to be an instrument of righteousness through Christ Jesus in Romans chapter 6, because Christ has given me the word.
Romans 6 chapter mention
-
It is the word that maintains you and protects you from falling.
-
The word of God says in the book of James, chapter 4, verse 7 resist the devil and he will free from you.
-
Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.
-
As you spend time to God, you resist the devil.
-
So the devil was around here.
-
From the time you start going through this sanctification and you're studying the word of God, the devil and his desires, you part away from him, you desire more of God.
-
It is the word of God that changes men and maintains us in salvation.
-
God has given us this certificate so that every time we look at it, it reminds us we are the children of God and we can stand what He expects us as the children of God to live like.
-
So when we said that you have been adopted and now you have sonship in the kingdom of God, spend time in the Word of God because this word will change you.
-
A family need to start their Bible study in moments.
-
You need to have moments where you study the word of God together.
-
Because as you do that, your family will start changing.
-
Some people need to subject the word of God to their business.
-
Because as you put the word of God in your business, there are things that you shall see them growing in your business.
-
We need to subject our education to the word of God because it keeps changing it, making it better, making it have more wisdom, making it have more intelligence, because the word of God maintains the word of God maintains sonship in the kingdom of God.
-
This is the word that is going to maintain us as the sons of God.
-
Resist the devil, and he will free from you.
-
Draw near to God through his knowledge and understanding his word, and you will draw near to God.
-
I give them an example of how when I gave my life to Christ, I listened to a story, I read a story, and I saw two men who were riding a horse.
-
And somebody asked them, How do you how are you pro in riding this horse?
-
And the first man stood up and said, I can ride near the creep and keep the barrels, and I cannot fall.
-
And everyone clapped and said, Wow, that's a man.
-
Another guy said, For me, I run away from the creef that I may never cause an accident.
-
I keep myself inside the word.
-
I don't go to the creef.
-
Most of the time I run to God because when I'm in God, that's how I keep my balance.
-
How do you keep your balance in your salvation?
-
I spent time in the word of God.
-
The scripture says in the book of 2 Corinthians 5 21 that he who knew no sin became sin so that we may become the righteousness of God.
-
One of the very reasons that God Jesus Christ never sinned is that he didn't know sin.
-
He had no idea how sin operates.
-
And this year I've been telling God, if there is anything I desire is to know no sin.
-
I want him to train me into righteousness with righteousness.
-
I don't want to go to the club and see how the clubs are and I hated.
-
No, I want to keep off.
-
That I'll never be there.
-
I don't know what happens.
-
For not knowing sin, help us to be righteous.
-
I said, Jesus, I want to be like so.
-
So this time I hang around people like Pastor Ambrose, Pastor Simon.
-
I don't hang around these people that are not righteous.
-
You know, these people just do their own things.
-
Because as he trains me to righteousness, I become righteous.
-
No, I have purpose.
-
I have to check what kind of things do you do if I'm not teaching you the word.
-
Stay there.
-
Let me stay here.
-
Because he trains me to righteousness.
-
He who knows no sin became sin on my behalf.
-
Now I don't have to live in sin.
-
I can live a righteous life because he calls me the righteousness of God.
-
Through word, you get yourself sanctified, you get yourself cleansed, you get sanctification.
-
We change our lives through the word of God.
-
I know you have gone through many things that you want to change your life.
-
Let me give you a prescription.
-
Study the word of God.
-
You want to drop a habit?
-
Spend time in the word of God.
-
You want to change the way you do things?
-
Spend time in the word of God.
-
Keep doing the word of God.
-
Keep doing the word of God.
-
Keep doing the word of God.
-
As you do it, it keeps changing you.
-
It keeps renewing you.
-
And you become what God has wanted you to be.
-
The word of God provides spiritual guidance, wisdom, and protection against the deceptions and temptation of the devil.
-
You want to have a victorious life?
-
Spend time in the word of God.
-
Make it a habit as a son in the kingdom to spend time in the word of God.
-
As you do it, you keep changing.
-
The word of God maintains us the legitimacy of us being the children of God.
-
It helps us to stand firm when the temptation and the deceiver comes in our lives.
-
The third point and the last one is that the word of God defines what kind of a person we are.
-
I would like us to be given James chapter 1, verse 23 and 24 in KJV, New King James Version.
-
The word of God defines the person we become.
-
Let's go back to 23 and then 24.
-
23.
-
The Bible says, For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror.
-
24 says, For he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets.
-
This is what I want you to note, what kind of a man he is.
-
What kind of a man he is.
-
A mirror reflects you so that you can be able to reveal how you look like.
-
So every time you stand in front of a mirror, let me tell you something.
-
That is who you are.
-
If you want to be to know who you are, just go and look at yourself in the mirror.
-
But when you want to know what kind of a person you are, subject yourself to the word of God.
-
The word of God does not only show us the physical the way we look, but it checks the heart, the kind of a person you are.
-
When you're in church, we can see you like a mirror.
-
But the word of God is can tell you how your heart is like, what kind of a person you are.
-
These are the people who have heard the word, and the scripture has said where we have read, do not be angry so fast, do be slow to speak.
-
And the moment they hit out of these gates and they are blocked by a car, that's the time you know what kind of a person they are.
-
They will call you names, and then they'll say those names were unprintable.
-
Because the kind of a person you are, it's determined by the word that is in your heart.
-
If you want to change the kind of a person you are, subject yourself into the word of God.
-
The word of God changes the kind and the character of our lives.
-
Nothing can ever change you.
-
Makeup will be good for the day, but I'm telling you that cannot change your heart.
-
You can look good and brown, but your heart is dark.
-
Because that's the kind, and that kind can only be changed by the word of God.
-
We can call you you are a son of God.
-
By what kind of a son are you in the kingdom of God?
-
Only the word of God can change the kind of a person you are.
-
Can we have Daniel, Shadrach, and Abednego?
-
These guys, they are kind of a guy that when they are told to get into the fire, they get and say, even if our God doesn't come.
-
The kind I am, I'm a kind that cannot change.
-
Some of us, the kind we are is because of where we stay.
-
Wait until you're a teenager, we relieve you to go to Mombasa without your mother.
-
The things you will do.
-
The kind.
-
These are the things that even if I'm not here, I'm far away, I'm still a deacon.
-
Even if you find me out of this country, I'm still the deacon because the kind I am is a kind that has changed through the word of God.
-
The kind.
-
What kind of a person are you?
-
When you lose your job, what kind of a person are you?
-
Are you the one that will find you depressed, hanging, and saying that God cannot save me?
-
Or are you the kind that says, My gosh shall surprise or every need according to his riches in glory?
-
And he is my father.
-
What kind are you?
-
What kind are you when you don't have a husband or you is ready to a girl and you've been trusting God to give your man and he has taken time and then you say, Now these men are not coming.
-
I'll hook up with another man's man.
-
Well, what kind?
-
What kind of a person are you?
-
What kind of a person?
-
Are you look at your neighbor and ask them, What kind are you?
-
Are you the kind that even the devil can go to God and say, Oh my goodness, Job, you take care of him, you preserve him because Job is a man of integrity.
-
Can we have a man like Job who even the devil is envious about?
-
Because the kind cannot be moved.
-
A kind that cannot be moved when they are in trouble, they know that me am the kind that the word has found and has pulled out, and now I can stand.
-
And after there is to stand, I still stand.
-
What kind are you?
-
What kind of a person are you?
-
What kind of a citizen are you?
-
What kind of a son are you in the kingdom?
-
Are you the one that murmurs and complains?
-
Are you the one that forgets that he parted the lead sea for us just yesterday?
-
Are you the kind that forgets that he used to provide for us manner in the wilderness and now we can raise another God?
-
Are you the kind that if we give you some money, you shall forget to come to church and you shall be so proud and you shall say those people don't use their brain.
-
I wish they can know what it means to be in a boardroom.
-
Are you the kind that says it doesn't matter how high I go, the word of God is the one that maintains me?
-
I am a kind that fears God.
-
When pastor is looking at me and when I'm alone, I'm a kind that I fear God.
-
I don't expect anyone to look at me and to watch over me.
-
I know of a father in heaven who is a king, and the king is watching over my life.
-
I'm the kind, hidden or in presence that I fear God, because my kind is for those who wait upon the Lord and He renews their strength.
-
What kind are you?
-
Are you a kind that can be like the woman who had the issue of blood that says, I will persist until I touch the hem of his garment.
-
I am the one who waits on God, even when everything else seems not to wait on me.
-
I wait on God.
-
I don't care I'm 40, I don't care I'm 50, I don't care I'm 80, I will wait on God because I'm the kind that cannot change its mind.
-
What kind are you?
-
The scripture says in James that the kind you are is the one that is going to take you far.
-
Jesus speaking to his disciples in the book of Matthew, chapter 13, he tells them about a parable of a sower.
Matthew 13 chapter mention
-
And tells them, a farmer went to sow a seed.
-
And when he went, he found seeds.
-
He threw some that they fell on the ground that was hardened.
-
He threw others, they found them on the streets, and they tried to grow, but the birds of the air came and picked them.
-
He threw some others in a good soil.
-
And the scripture says that it forty thousand folds came up because the soil was good.
-
And after that, the disciples asked Jesus, What did you really mean with that?
-
And so you find it in the book of Matthew, chapter 13, verse 16, saying this.
-
But blessed are your eyes because you see, and your ears because you hear.
-
For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people long to see what you see but not see it, and hear what you hear but do not hear it.
-
Listen then to what the parable of the sword means.
-
When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes, snatches away what the what was sown in their heart.
-
This is the seed sown along the path.
-
The seed falling on the local grounds refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy, like us.
-
But since they have not loot, they last only for a short time.
-
When they find themselves in the parking, when the trouble and persecution come, because of the word of the word, they quickly fall away.
-
The seed falling among thones refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of life and the deceivedness of the well chokes the world.
-
The word making it unfruitful.
-
But this but the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word, understands it.
-
This is the one who produces a crop yield 160 or 30 times what was sold.
-
This is the kind of a person we want.
-
A person whose heart has too much that after we have shared such a word, they will go home and say, Father, I want to be that kind of a person that anything you bring my way, anytime I sit down and I read a scripture, it will have so much because I want to be a kind that fears God.
-
A kind that changes by the word of God, a kind that fears God, a kind that loves God.
-
Anytime you put a word in me, I know that your word is power.
-
The Bible says that the word of God is the double-edged sword.
-
So every time you send a word to me, I want to be the kind that looks at the word of God.
-
I want us to move from just be hearers of the word, but also the doers of this word.
-
Let us be the good soil that yields 160 or 30 times what it was sown.
-
A word.
-
The Bible says in the book of Jeremiah chapter 1, verse 12, that he looks after his word to perform it.
-
In fact, that scripture says he look with a haste.
-
So every time you have a word, let me tell you what God does.
-
When I have a word inside me, God learns after it to perform it.
-
When I'm in trouble, before I say I feel depressed, I'll say the word of God is inside me and I'll produce it.
-
And the moment I produce it, the Lord looks after it to perform it.
-
Because every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God doesn't go back void, but it accomplishes what it meant for.
-
The word of God expels sin, the word of God protects my salvation, and the word of God defines my character.
-
Let us stand up in Jesus' name.
-
As we stand this day, I don't know where you are.
-
What kind of a person are you?
-
Are you the one who struggles with sin?
-
Are you the one that feels defeated?
-
Are you the kind that is about to give up?
-
Today the Lord spoke to me and said, I want you to pray for somebody who is giving up.
-
That they will not give up because the word of God has come to them.
-
I came to tell you that you are the child of God in the kingdom and that you are not a failure.
-
You are a success written over, and nothing can put you down.
-
You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
-
You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
-
That the Lord will make you the head and not the tail.
-
The Lord came to tell me that somebody will be lifted up and their lives will never be the same again.
-
Because he who holds their hand is faithful to keep them.
-
The Lord told me to come and tell somebody that he is seated with him in the heavenly places as a loyalty.
-
And today I want to pray for you that as we move out of this place, you'll be a kind that doesn't give up.
-
You'll be that kind that can fight forth.
-
You'll be that kind that can say, I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength.
-
You'll be that kind that says I'll be the righteousness of God.
-
I'll be the one to portray the righteousness of God.
-
I'll be the one that will never disappoint God as a father to me and as a son I am.
-
I'll be make my father proud.
-
I've told myself I'll make my God proud.
-
Every time he looks to and flow, the scripture says, He looked unto the righteous to help.
-
I pray that God will be rocketing me every time because I want to make him proud.
-
It's not by might, he's not by power, but I pray that he shall put his eye on me because I'll be the kind that cannot disappoint him.
-
When he gives me something to do, I'll do.
-
When he tells me to do something, I will do.
-
When he gives me an instruction, I'll follow.
-
Because I want to be the kind that is the good soil.
-
Father, thank you for everyone that is in this place.
-
That's their desire to make you proud.
-
I pray from this day, as they walk out of this church this day, this altar, they will walk, having resolved to know you, to know your word, to be a kind that cannot be defeated, to be a kind that prospers, to be a kind that makes through, to be a kind that pleases you, to be a kind that Lord you can identify with.
-
I pray as they move out of this place, they will live to make you glad.
-
Because they shall have faith.
-
The faith that comes from hearing your word, the faith that says that without faith is impossible to please God.
-
I therefore speak that word, release it, stir up faith in their lives, that they'll please you because of your word that has come upon them.
-
I pray for anyone who doesn't find joy in reading the word.
-
If you're in this place and you've never found joy, every time you read the word, you say, I don't understand it.
-
I don't even know how this decont said this word and this and connected it.
-
I want to pray that the grace of understanding the word of God may come upon you.
-
That you shall sit down and read the word and you will hear very clear what God is saying in your word.
-
You shall know what He says, He shall speak you when you read.
-
I pray that every time you open your word to read, the Holy Spirit will give you a backup.
-
That you shall understand and interpret the word according to the way it is.
-
You shall know the context of the word, you shall know the theme of the word, you shall understand that word, and more than that, it shall bring light into your life.
-
I pray that you shall have fruits of the word you read.
-
May Lord send joy amongst your children when they read your scriptures.
-
I pray as they lead this certificate.
-
My God, may they find joy.
-
Some who have questions may find answers.
-
Those who are broken may find healing.
-
Those who are in want, they may be provided for.
-
Those who are lost, they may find the way.
-
Those who are empty, they will be filled.
-
Those who are outside will be brought in by just reading your word.
-
God, I honor you as a father to my life.
-
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, we have prayed.
-
And I'll speak a blessing.
-
Upon your life.
-
May this week be glorious.
-
May you see the goodness of God.
-
As you study his word, may he answer you.
-
May Madden be marvelous because of his grace.
-
May Tuesday be terrific because of his faithfulness.
-
May Wednesday be filled with wings of the power of God upon you.
-
May Thursday be filled with the Spirit of God.
-
May Friday may you feel success in all you do.
-
May whatever you do on Saturday may see the goodness of God.
-
I pray for salvation of a Sunday and that this week will be the greatest week you ever lived.
-
For we praise this, believing and trusting in the beautiful name of our Lord Jesus.
-
Amen and amen.
