You know, we know from the scriptures
-
that as long as the earth remains, there
-
will be
-
>> Oh, you got three steps ahead of me.
-
There will be summer, winter, day and
-
night.
-
>> Thank you. Now you Now you can jump in
-
with seed time and harvest. And if you
-
if you you know you know you're going to
-
get day and night, you know you're going
-
to get heat and cold. Um we've gotten
-
past the heat. Now we're headed toward
-
the cold. But we know all that. But at
-
the same time, if you're going to have
-
all that, which you will, then you can
-
know you're going to have seed time and
-
harvest. It's just an absolutely sure
-
thing. And um you know, as long as
-
there's seed time, there will be
-
harvest. And uh you know, we've talked
-
about that a lot. It's a phrase we've
-
used a lot that uh I I'm so thankful um
-
that you know among lots of places in
-
the body of Christ. The one thing about
-
uh WC here is you can count on the fact
-
if you're a if you're a swer, if you're
-
a giver, the sun will never set on your
-
seed. You know, if it goes down in one
-
continent, it'll come up in another. If
-
it goes down in Europe, it'll come up in
-
Asia. If it comes If it goes down in
-
Australia, it'll come up in South
-
America. Somewhere along the way, if
-
you're a giver, the sun will never set
-
on your seed. If it stops on one area,
-
it'll come up on another one. As long as
-
the sun's coming up on that and the
-
rain's falling on it, you are going to
-
have a harvest.
-
>> You know, when we talk about and and of
-
course, it's another another facet. But
-
when we talk about um you know faith
-
promises and all that and talk about how
-
we if we can just if we'll just take
-
take a a minute couple minutes whatever
-
it takes to pray and say Lord what would
-
you have me to do okay it's not just
-
what do you want to do what do you want
-
me to do because my faith in God's
-
what's going to make the difference it
-
starts it starts with me okay it's not
-
God what do you want to do it's no Lord
-
what do you want me to do because if you
-
tell me what you want me to do I'll put
-
my faith on that but But uh don't let
-
that stop you though. Say, "What do you
-
mean by that?" Because the bottom line
-
is if if there is a law of seed time,
-
there's going to be a law of harvest. So
-
in other words, it's not just how much
-
can you give. It's not just what's your
-
faith promise. It's what are you willing
-
to believe God for? If you'll invest it,
-
God will multiply it. And you cannot
-
outgive Almighty God. Pastor Janet and I
-
have been we've been at this for a lot
-
of long time 47 years, something like
-
that. And uh when we started out
-
uh I remember we we we had a car. Wasn't
-
paid for, but we had a car. Didn't have
-
money, didn't have invitations, but we
-
had a call and we started traveling. And
-
I still remember um goodness I'm
-
thinking it was like near Buffalo or
-
somewhere we ended up with we had enough
-
money that we could go and we went to a
-
a store somewhere and we each bought a
-
new pair of jeans. I think in those days
-
it was either $10 or $12 a pair and that
-
just that that killed our savings. But
-
anyway, um but it was like we have man
-
we we have come a long ways. We've gone
-
from nothing to something and we've
-
watched God just do amazing things and
-
take care of us and and never seen the
-
righteous forsaken nor seed begging
-
bread. And we I think we can all say
-
that there there are countries in the
-
world where you you can't people can't
-
say that. It's it doesn't work that way.
-
They they haven't learned how to trust
-
God. But we're grateful for what he's
-
put on the inside of us. And and if if
-
God's for us, he's going to do things
-
for us. And if he is, he he doesn't
-
withhold any good thing from those that
-
love him. So, and I better get going
-
because that's not my subject. But
-
anyway, anyway, let's open our Bibles
-
or whatever you're using for your
-
reference. We'll we'll have it. Usually,
-
we have it on the uh screens up here.
-
But, uh, you know, I just, you know, I
-
recommend everybody have a Bible.
-
>> That's going slowly through the crowd.
-
It's I recommend everybody have a Bible.
-
I started out with a King James and
-
couldn't figure it out, so I just zipped
-
it back up and left it. And somebody
-
talked me into getting a green hard
-
coverver living Bible. Changed my life.
-
First time I found something I could
-
read and to some degree understand it.
-
And uh you know, going back through and
-
and over the years, I've got I've got so
-
many Bibles in my in my library. I've
-
got old Bibles. I've got covers worn
-
off.
-
I've got copies of Christ the Healer, FF
-
Bosworth. You can't get past the cover.
-
I've got the covers taped on there, duct
-
taped on, all that. But I'm just so
-
thankful for for the word of God. You
-
can't out out give God. And I'll tell
-
you what, you'll never find a problem in
-
life that God hasn't given you the
-
answer to in the covers of his book.
-
>> So, I haven't found it so far. Keep
-
looking. Keep looking. It might come out
-
a little bit different. I've got I have
-
run across things in the Bible. I I
-
said, "God, there is no answer for this
-
one." Well, don't you don't want to
-
challenge God.
-
>> He doesn't get aggravated, but he'll
-
take you to his word and he'll I told
-
him a couple times, Lord, there's just
-
no answer for this that I was dealing
-
with years and years ago now. Just w
-
just starting to walk with God. You
-
didn't cover this in your word. Well, I
-
went back into I didn't even know how I
-
found my way into the Bible. I wasn't
-
sure how to do that, but I got to
-
looking and it wasn't but about a couple
-
days and I had didn't have a verse to
-
cover my problem. I had about four of
-
them. found out God anything you'll run
-
into, God will take care of you. Amen.
-
So anyway, have you found Luke the
-
fourth chapter?
-
So I want to take just a few minutes and
-
talk about the progression of Jesus
-
ministry. Jesus is not what he's viewed
-
to be in many parts of the earth where
-
they've got all these paintings and
-
portraits and all this. I'm not saying
-
those are bad, but a lot of things are
-
pictures of Jesus tiptoeing down the
-
pathway anemic.
-
and looks like he just hasn't had a meal
-
in like three or four weeks. And you
-
know, I I don't know about you, but
-
we've seen all of those. And uh not
-
criticizing those things, but you know,
-
Jesus, there's no way an anemic, beat
-
up, beat down, sick, poor, sorry guy, no
-
way he went into the temple and drove
-
out an entire flea market, put together
-
a whip, and drove the whole bunch of
-
them out of there. He's a man's man.
-
Okay. But going back through
-
um in in the ministry of Jesus, um there
-
was a he he wasn't just
-
tiptoeing down the pathway, you know,
-
just reach out and you know, tap
-
somebody on the head and the blind would
-
see and tap somebody else on the head
-
and the deaf would hear. Well, he did
-
things to get healings and miracles and
-
blessings into people's lives. But there
-
was more to it than Jesus just tiptoeing
-
along going, "Oh, this is great. I think
-
I'll do something here. Okay. Some of
-
his miracles were uh he was he a lot of
-
his miracles took place while he was
-
interrupted on his way to somebody to he
-
heal the sick, cleanse the leper, and
-
raise the dead. He'd stop and go, "Oh,
-
okay. Stop and heal a blind guy there."
-
Different things would happen. But in
-
going through this, Jesus had a real
-
progression to his ministry. He knew
-
what he was doing. And it's important
-
for us to know that because if it worked
-
for him in the ministry on planet Earth,
-
then if it'll work through the head,
-
it'll work through the body.
-
>> If we find out how he did things, if we
-
found out how he maneuvered his way
-
through the things of God, okay, he
-
Well, he was the son of God. Well, who
-
are you?
-
>> Well, he did that as the son of God. If
-
it worked because he was the son, it'll
-
work for you because you're a son.
-
If we just get hold of this thing, we we
-
somehow somehow we we find ways to throw
-
this off on him and say, "Well, it only
-
worked because you we need to get rid of
-
the because
-
it'll just work for the it'll work for
-
the church. It'll work for the body the
-
same as it did for the head." Jesus
-
said, "The works that I do, verily,
-
verily,"
-
when he uses two verilies, that's a good
-
thing. Verily, verily, I say unto you,
-
he that believeth on me,
-
>> he made that pretty straight. He that
-
believeth on me, the
-
the works. Now, we could stay there for
-
a month. He that believeth on me, the
-
works that I do shall he do also, and
-
greater works than these shall he do,
-
because I go unto my father. In other
-
words, if you see me doing it, don't
-
say, "Oh, isn't it wonderful what Jesus
-
did?" You ought to look at it and say,
-
"Isn't it wonderful what I can do?"
-
>> The church ought to be doing what the
-
head we ought to be doing what the head
-
did.
-
>> He He did this as an example, not as a a
-
cheap substitute, not as here's what I
-
can do. And when you get to heaven,
-
you'll get to see all the pictures of
-
what? No, no, no. If we get hold of the
-
fact, if we understand who Jesus was
-
when he walked on this earth, let this
-
mind be in you which also was in Christ
-
Jesus, who being in the form of God,
-
thought robbery, not robbery to be equal
-
with God, but made himself of no
-
reputation, stripped himself of his
-
mighty power and glory, laid aside his
-
mighty anointing, became a man
-
until he's about 30 years old, baptized
-
in the Jordan, heavens open, the spirit
-
of God descended in bodily form upon
-
him, and spirit of God came on him and
-
at that point Jesus stepped into the
-
call of on his life but he didn't do it
-
to show us how it should be but it's
-
never going to be that way. He He did it
-
to show us what he could do to let us
-
know what we can do.
-
>> Okay. Well, he did that because he was
-
the son of God. I get that. I get that.
-
He always was and always will be the the
-
the son of God. The only one with nail
-
prints in his hands. The only one with
-
nail prints in his feet. the only one
-
with a spirit print in his side, the
-
only one that shed his blood, the only
-
one that redeemed us. We don't take
-
anything away from him. But in his
-
earthly ministry, he said, "I've got to
-
have this happen when I leave so that it
-
goes around the globe." And the only
-
place that the only way it's going to go
-
around the globe is for the church.
-
>> I tell you, if we really understood who
-
we are, not who we made ourselves to be,
-
if it was us making ourselves, we'd have
-
messed it up really bad. In fact, most
-
of us did quite a while. But it it's not
-
just what we made ourselves to be. What
-
did he make us to be? How did he equip
-
us? What did he turn us over into? What
-
what does he want us to do? So anyway,
-
Luke the uh 4th chapter, we'll start
-
with uh let's just start with verse 14.
-
I'm not sure how far we'll get here.
-
We'll see. says and Jesus read now this
-
of course after he's in the wilderness
-
he's he's gone through the temptations
-
and so on and the devil you walked him
-
through the temptations and then
-
departed for a season and now verse 14
-
Luke chapter 4 and Jesus returned in the
Luke 4 chapter mention
-
power of the spirit to Galilee and went
-
and there went out of fame of him
-
through all the region roundabout now
-
verse 15 here's the beginning of
-
everything he's just finished his
-
preparation he's just finished going
-
through the temptations he's just
-
finished getting himself prepared to
-
step into the fullness of his ministry.
-
In verse uh 15 says, "And he what?"
-
>> He did what?
-
>> He taught. See, if we understand Jesus
-
wasn't just tiptoeing down the pathway
-
getting people raised up. There was a
-
method to what he did. And it says here,
-
how did he start his ministry? And he
-
taught in their synagogues being
-
glorified of all. That's how he launched
-
everything. I'll back up for just a
-
minute. If you go back to the fourth
-
chapter of uh Matthew's gospel, verse
-
23, Jesus went round about their cities
-
and villages teaching in the synagogue
-
preaching the gospel of the kingdom and
-
healing every manner of sickness and
-
every manner of disease among the
-
people. And just to make sure we get it,
-
he didn't stop with Matthew the 4th
-
chapter. He went to Matthew the 9th
-
chapter, verse 35. And Jesus went round
-
about their cities and villages,
-
teaching in their synagogue, preaching
-
the gospel of the kingdom, and healing
-
every manner of sickness and every
-
manner of disease among the people. And
-
we could go on from there, just do a
-
whole message on how he saw the people
-
scattered as sheep without a shepherd,
-
had compassion on them, so on. But
-
anyway,
-
um verse 15, Jesus taught in their
-
synagogues, being glorified of all. They
-
didn't know who Jesus was. Okay, some of
-
them got it figured out. He's the
-
carpenter's son, but he's gone through
-
the temptations. He's come out and uh he
-
taught in their synagogues being
-
glorified of all. Now the 16th verse,
-
and he came to Nazareth where he'd been
-
brought up. And as his custom was, he
-
went into the synagogue. [snorts]
-
Do you know it's a good custom to go to
-
church?
-
>> I know I'm preaching to the choir here,
-
but you know, it says here, "And his as
-
his custom was, he went into the
-
synagogue on the Sabbath day. It was his
-
custom to go into church." And there was
-
and he stood up for to read. And it was
-
a it was a a tradition back there that
-
they'd have could have like seven
-
different people that would give up
-
stand up and give an exhortation, read
-
something, whatever. So this was normal.
-
Yeah. It says here uh and he stood up
-
for to read verse 17. And there was
-
delivered unto him the book of the
-
prophet Isaiah. Well, we'd know if we
-
looked that up, we'd find Isaiah chapter
Isaiah 61 chapter mention
-
61 verse1. Um and that's where he's re
-
that's where he's reading. He he knew
-
exactly where he was going. You know
-
Jesus, he's 30 years old, been baptized
-
in the Jordan, came up out of the water
-
praying, heavens open, spirit of God
-
descended, and a bodily form like a dove
-
remained upon. We know, we we know what
-
that from the scriptures, okay? We see
-
Jesus doing that. And um
-
uh
-
growing up as a boy, we we see him at
-
birth. We see him when he's probably
-
about two years old. We see him when
-
he's 12 years old. He's in the he's in
-
the temple. What's he doing? He's not
-
teaching them. He's learning. Jesus went
-
into the synagogue. He went into the
-
temple, hung around the spiritual
-
people. And what he he took all this
-
time up until 30 years old finding
-
himself. What did he do? He studied the
-
scriptures to find himself. Now, I know
-
that sounds kind of strange. Well, he
-
knew who he was. Well, maybe he didn't.
-
The Bible said he laid aside his mighty
-
power and glory. He had to find himself
-
in the scriptures. And so when he got
-
says right here, now I don't know, but
-
it's been said that this is the first
-
message Jesus preached everywhere he
-
went. Okay, I won't talk about where
-
that all came from, but I wouldn't doubt
-
a bit of it. But it says here, there was
-
verse 17, there was delivered unto him
-
the book of the prophet Isaiah. So we'd
-
say Isaiah. And when he opened the book,
-
he found the place where it was written.
-
He knew what he was looking for. You
-
know, we again, we could stop here for
-
quite a while, but what he had done is
-
he had searched the scriptures until he
-
found himself.
-
He knew what he was looking for when he
-
went to Isaiah 61:1. He knew who he was
-
looking for there. He's looking for
-
himself because look what he says.
-
Okay? When he'd opened the book, he
-
found the place where it was written.
-
Verse 18, the spirit of the Lord's upon
-
me.
-
Okay? That's his start. That's the
-
beginning of his message. But now he's
-
teaching this, okay? He's he's teaching
-
this. What's what's going to change
-
people's lives? If he just walks around,
-
gets them healed, gets their blind eyes
-
open, deaf ears, that's great. But
-
what's going to change them the most is
-
what word he's going to put in them.
-
It's not what he they get with them.
-
It's what he puts in them. Still works
-
today.
-
Okay? He found the place. verse uh 17.
-
He found the place where it was written,
-
"The spirit of the Lord's upon me
-
because he's anointed me to preach the
-
gospel to the poor." He knew what he's
-
looking for. Okay? Now, this has been in
-
there a long time. Isaiah 6:11. I don't
-
know when that was written, when that
-
was penned, but he knew that was in
-
there. He knew exactly where it was, and
-
he knew where he was going. He's going
-
to He's got something to say to these
-
people. He's just come out of the
-
wilderness. He's just come out of the
-
temptations. He's just come out
-
power of the spirit's working on him.
-
He's being glorified of all. He's
-
teaching in the synagogues. And it says
-
here, uh, verse 16, the spirit of the
-
Lord's upon me because he's anointed me
-
to preach the gospel to the poor. Okay?
-
You know, he interesting. He started
-
this whole thing out saying you have you
-
don't you don't got to be poor no more.
-
He preached first he the place he
-
started was preaching good news to the
-
poor. And I've looked that up from every
-
translation I can find. and poor. You
-
know what poor means? Poor. Anyway,
-
okay. He's against that. Okay. Anyway,
-
another subject. The spirit of the
-
Lord's upon me because he's anointed me
-
to preach the gospel to the what's going
-
to help the poor? The gospel. What's
-
going to help get out of that mess? The
-
gospel. The good news. Okay. So, anyway,
-
the spirit of the Lord's upon me because
-
he's anointed me to preach the gospel to
-
the poor. He sent me to heal the
-
brokenhearted. This is not a one, this
-
is not just a onetrick deal. It's not
-
just about getting your bills paid and
-
your needs met. This is a beginning.
-
This is a whole lifestyle. The spirit of
-
the Lord's upon me because he's anointed
-
me to preach the gospel to the poor. He
-
sent me to heal the brokenhearted. I
-
heard a guy say one time, "Preach to the
-
brokenhearted." There's one in every
-
pew.
-
Okay. Now, I thought, well, well, when
-
we were in a service, actually at 21st
-
Street, Holy Ghost Rally, and the Holy
-
Ghost spoke to us and said, "Call up the
-
brokenhearted." I said, 'Lord, I don't
-
know if I believe they're there. Well,
-
if they weren't there, why was Jesus
-
sent to preach to them?
-
So, we just called that out. People came
-
from everywhere. People brokenhearted.
-
Lives messed up. Problems have happened.
-
Problems happen. And God does. He was
-
just delivering folks. We saw people
-
getting set free of all kinds of things.
-
Wasn't my idea. I didn't know they were
-
there. But anyway,
-
he sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to
-
preach deliverance to the captives. Oh,
-
there's there's something good. Okay.
-
Recovering of sight to the blind. Set at
-
liberty them that are bruised. And to
-
preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
-
We'd say, "Preach the year of Jubilee."
-
That's every 50 years you get back what
-
the last 49 has stolen from you. Okay.
-
Okay. To preach acceptable year of the
-
Lord. And he closed the book and he gave
-
it again to the minister and sat down.
-
And the eyes of all them that were in
-
the synagogue were fastened upon him.
-
And he began to say unto them, he began,
-
they didn't let him finish. He began to
-
say unto them this this day. Now notice
-
he didn't say last week, last month,
-
last. He didn't say last time I came
-
through here. He didn't say this, you
-
know, is for another time. He said what?
-
This day. This day. This day. And he
-
wanted them to know this is not for
-
another time. This is not for the
-
millennial reign. This is not for the
-
tribulation period. He said this day
-
is this scripture fulfilled in your
-
ears.
-
It didn't get fulfilled until it got in
-
their ears. Carrying it around in a
-
Bible didn't make the difference. Having
-
it on an iPad didn't make the
-
difference. Having it on a watch didn't
-
make the difference. It didn't make the
-
difference until it got in their ears.
-
>> This day is this scripture fulfilled in
-
your ears. Once you get it in your ears,
-
it can work. Because they got so excited
-
about it, they took him out and tried to
-
throw him off a cliff. But the bottom
-
line is he said, "This day is," what did
-
he say? He sent me to preach the gospel
-
to the poor. He sent me to heal the
-
brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the
-
captives, recovering of sight to the
-
blind, set at liberty them that are
-
bruised, preach the acceptable year of
-
the Lord, close the book, and went on to
-
say, "This day is this scripture
-
fulfilled in your ears." So bottom line
-
is today, today, to put it plainly, I
-
just gave you a list of what I can do.
-
And if you want it, you can have it. If
-
you will put your faith on it, if you'll
-
if you'll tap into that, I can do every
-
bit of that. No matter what your problem
-
is in the synagogue today, if you're
-
sick, if you're diseased, if you're
-
blind, if you're brokenhearted, if
-
you're broke, I don't care what it is.
-
Whatever it is, the spirit of God is
-
upon me. I can fix it right now. I can
-
take care of this.
-
Okay? But again, they were so
-
religiously brainwashed that they they
-
didn't like it. They didn't like it. I
-
remember when I first got hold of a few
-
things out of the basics of redemption
-
years ago now and I still remember I
-
said dear God I'm going all I am going
-
all the way across Oklahoma maybe even
-
the nation I'm going to preach that
-
everywhere preach what well what Jesus
-
said the spirit of the Lord's upon me
-
because he's anointed and so on I said
-
Lord I'm going to take that everywhere
-
do you know I said God do you know how
-
excited people are going to be to hear
-
this
-
I started going places I knew, they had
-
a nice smooth floor because there were
-
people looking for rocks. There were
-
folks did they didn't like it. They
-
didn't like the fact that God will set
-
you free. He'll heal your body. He'll
-
meet your needs. He'll blind in your
-
eyes. He'll fix it. If you're if you've
-
had your whole basically your whole life
-
stolen from you, God can restore it. The
-
acceptable year of the Lord. I I thought
-
people would be so excited about that. I
-
said, "God, I don't get this. I've been
-
preaching it and folks are not liking
-
it." I kind of got the idea. Yeah. go
-
back and read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
-
John and see how much they liked it.
-
People didn't like it. But you go along
-
far enough and here comes the church.
-
So, we like it. So, anyway,
-
going back through here, Jesus in his
-
earthly ministry, he did what he wants
-
the church to do. He did what belonged
-
to humanity
-
to set the captives free. And then
-
really he said, "Anything you'll find me
-
doing, you ought to be doing the same
-
thing." Okay? He said that in the
-
scriptures, "Verily, verily, I say unto
-
you, he that believeth on me." Not the
-
apostle, not the prophet, not the
-
evangelist, not the pastor, not the
-
teacher, teacher. Yeah. All of those,
-
but not strictly those.
-
It starts there. It works there. But he
-
said, "He that believeth on me, he that
-
believe I can't seem to get off this
-
this morning. He that believeth on me,
-
the works that I do shall he do also,
-
and greater works than thee shall he do,
-
because I go unto my father. If I did
-
it, you ought to do it. If I had it
-
done, you ought to have it done. If it
-
worked for me, it ought to be working
-
for you.
-
>> I can still remember one time heard
-
somebody talking about how they they'd
-
seen somebody got healed in their
-
meeting. Well, you know, I decided to be
-
the wise guy and I said, "Well, Lord,
-
how come you never did that through me?"
-
You don't want to ask crazy questions
-
unless you're ready for some solid
-
answers. I said, 'How come you never
-
worked that through me. Just clear as
-
could be on the inside. I said, I heard
-
when was the last time you preached the
-
word and laid hands on somebody?
-
>> Oh,
-
you mean I got a part to play in this.
-
Huh? So what did I do? I started finding
-
sick folks and say, I don't care what
-
your problem is. I will be glad to lay
-
hands on you. Say, did they get healed?
-
Not at all. I'm tell I had more people
-
stay sick than you can imagine. But I
-
thought, I'm not quitting. Now, I heard
-
Brother Hagen say when he pastored a
-
church in East Texas, he said, uh, you
-
know, he said, we started having, I
-
think he said, Friday night or Saturday
-
night, uh, healing services, healing and
-
deliverance services. And he said, boy,
-
we start preaching and ministering to
-
the sick and the depressed and all that.
-
And absolutely nothing happened. But I
-
thought, I'm not quitting here. He said,
-
I'm just going to keep doing it and keep
-
doing it and keep doing it and keep
-
doing it until something happens. He
-
said, it wasn't long before all of a
-
sudden healings start happening.
-
miracles start happening. People start
-
coming from that a whole region
-
roundabout. Well, if it'll work back
-
there, it'll work today. But anyway,
-
to move along here, um in in going
-
through this, you'll you'll find out uh
-
Jesus in his earthly ministry, the
-
progression of his ministry was Matthew
-
4:23, Matthew 9:35,
-
uh Luke 4:17. Everything was to start
-
out teach, preach, heal, teach, preach,
-
heal, teach. Yeah. And the bottom line
-
is if we want the healing, we better
-
start out with the teaching and
-
preaching.
-
Something has to if we're going to get a
-
harvest, we we absolutely need to sew
-
some seed.
-
>> Okay. Now, to back that up a little bit,
-
if you look at the ministry of Jesus,
-
this what I wanted to get to for a
-
little while. I'm not sure how far we'll
-
get, but if you get to the ministry of
-
Jesus, you look back there and and Jesus
-
um there there was a side to Jesus.
-
Okay, we know from uh uh really Acts
-
10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
-
with the Holy Ghost and power. God
-
anointed Jesus with the gifts and
-
manifestations of the Holy Ghost and
-
then the outpouring of power. And so
-
Jesus in his earthly ministry when he
-
stepped out to fulfill the what God had
-
for him to do to deliver humanity to set
-
the captives free to show what it's like
-
to be a son of God when he stepped out
-
to do all that. um about
-
oh I looked this up years ago about 23
-
to 25%
-
of the time uh in his earthly ministry
-
the about the the times when somebody
-
got something from heaven somebody got a
-
healing somebody got a miracle about
-
stick with me on this there's I'm going
-
somewhere with it about 23 to 25% of the
-
time they got a miracle without hearing
-
anything
-
anybody any of you in here ever gotten
-
anything from God. You didn't hear
-
anything. Nobody told you anything. You
-
didn't hear anything. Just I'm telling
-
you, God just rang your bell. You got a
-
freebie out of this. [snorts]
-
We've seen that for years. We've We saw
-
a lady in uh Munich, Germany. There was
-
a lady in uh somewhere in New Jersey.
-
We've seen people over years, many
-
people over the years didn't hear
-
anything. Didn't We've had people didn't
-
speak a word of English. Somebody
-
dragged them to a meeting and brought
-
them up to the front. They came to the
-
front, didn't have a word of anything.
-
It sure wasn't my great preaching that
-
set them free. They didn't know what I
-
said, but the power of God would come on
-
them and and they'd get healed in their
-
bodies. Eyes get real big. They look
-
around. They didn't know what happened
-
to him. There there is a side of God
-
where God will because he's not only
-
God, he's father. And not only will he
-
take care of those that have been around
-
for a while, but God will do a lot of
-
things for babies, too. Okay? You
-
understand what I'm saying? Sometimes
-
he'll just reach out and do things for
-
people that have not had the opportunity
-
to learn anything. We've all spent time
-
there. If you haven't, you're long ways
-
away ahead of me. But but he um
-
Jesus would go through their cities and
-
villages. I know he'd teach, preach, and
-
heal, but sometimes he would just go and
-
deliver a miracle. I mean, think about
-
it. back there in um goodness John
John 5 chapter mention
-
chapter 5 pool of Bethesda man's been
-
sick 18 years okay no chance of getting
-
better angels angel comes every randomly
-
troubles the water whoever then first
-
gets in of made he's made a whole of
-
whatever disease he has Jesus walks here
-
pool of Bethesda
-
great multitude of impotent folk blind
-
halt withered waiting for the moving of
-
the water so on Jesus walks up he sees
-
sees this guy knows he's been now a long
-
time in that case. Well, how does he
-
know that? Well, maybe he looked didn't
-
say God showed him. Just said he knew
-
it. Don't know. Maybe he had got it by
-
word of knowledge. I don't know. But he
-
knew this this man had been a long time
-
in that case. And he walked over to him
-
and said, "Sir, is it your will to be
-
healed?" Well, that's kind of a strange
-
question, but if you if you're going to
-
ask that question, you might get an
-
unusual answer. Sir, is it [snorts] your
-
will to be healed? Well, of course he
-
Well, he'd like to be healed, but first
-
thing he says is, "I can't." "Is it your
-
will to be healed?" "No, sir." He says,
-
"I have no man when the waters trouble
-
to put me into the pool, but while I'm
-
coming, another always stepeth down
-
before me." So, that guy has been in his
-
spot there. Apparently, he's not
-
prosperous enough to hire somebody to
-
pick him up and carry him to the lake or
-
the pond. Okay? And and um
-
so, he says, "Is it your will to be
-
healed?" He said, "I can't." He said, "I
-
have no man when the waters are tobble
-
to put me into I don't have anybody to
-
pick me up and carry me down there.
-
Anytime the waters move, somebody gets
-
ahead of me." So, in other words, he's
-
seen people sick. He's seen them get in
-
the pool when the waters are troubled.
-
He sees them get back out totally well.
-
And he knows it'll never happen for him
-
because he can't get to the water first.
-
Too many sick people that are not as
-
sick as him. Well, Jesus could have
-
said, "I'm going to do you a favor. I'm
-
going to give you a six-eek
-
correspondence course.
-
>> Get your iPad out. We're going to we
-
will put you we will get you a great
-
correspondence course. Eventually, this
-
will get through to you and you can get
-
a healing. He didn't do any of that.
-
What happened? Spirit of God's moving.
-
There's a there's this wonderful freebie
-
side of God. There's this call it
-
sovereign. I don't like to you use the
-
word sovereign because it makes it sound
-
like God decides whether or whether or
-
not to do something. That's not what
-
sovereign means. sovereign side says,
-
"I'm going to do something for you
-
whether you understand it or not." So
-
anyway, says there
-
Jesus says, "Well, is it your will to be
-
healed?" "No, sir, I can't. When the
-
waters are troubled, somebody always
-
gets in ahead of me." Jesus says, "Well,
-
get up and walk anyway."
-
And the guy, he doesn't know who this
-
is. He doesn't know who Jesus is. This
-
man walks up and says, "Get up and
-
walk." So, well, hey, why not? Nothing
-
else has worked. So, he gets up, rolls
-
up his bed, and walks away totally
-
healed. been sick for 18 years. He
-
didn't hear anything. He didn't hear
-
preaching. He didn't hear teaching.
-
Jesus didn't minister anything to him.
-
He just said, "Is it your will to be
-
healed?" He said, "I can't." Well, get
-
up and walk anyway. We might as well get
-
used to it. We, the church world, were
-
about to step into a great outpouring of
-
healings and miracles like that.
-
>> We've had them before. My goodness, you
-
go back to the healing revival 1947 to
-
1958. You go back through to that and
-
I'll tell you what, you can see I've had
-
I've had DVDs and I've had CDs. I've,
-
you know, I've had all kinds of of video
-
things of everything from Brother
-
Roberts to AA Allen to to uh William
-
Brandon, all these guys. And I used to
-
sit and just watch those things because
-
they didn't really teach much of
-
anything, but they just had a ho a Holy
-
Ghost flow and they'd minister to people
-
and healings and miracles would take
-
place. Well,
-
uh, in doing that, the guy walked up. He
-
got up and Jesus left. He didn't He
-
didn't stay and do a healing crusade. He
-
didn't do frontier evangelism. He just
-
got this guy healed and walked away.
-
Now, the guy's got his bed. He's walking
-
toward home, wherever home is. He's been
-
sick 18 years. I don't know if where he
-
lived, but the religious guys caught him
-
said, "What are you doing carrying your
-
bed on the Sabbath day? Who do you think
-
you are?" He said, "I don't know." Oh,
-
he said, "The guy that healed me told me
-
to do it." Well, who told who who healed
-
you? He said, "I don't know. I have no
-
idea who it was." It was just a guy
-
walked up and told me to take up my bed
-
and walk. So, I did and he did. And they
-
said, "Who was it?" I don't know who it
-
was. Jesus had conveyed himself away. A
-
multitude being in that place. We might
-
as well get used to that. We're about to
-
see a great dimension. I'm convinced.
-
Great outpouring of healings and
-
miracles like that. The only thing we
-
need to do is find folks that need them.
-
Well, I don't need something like that.
-
Well, then let's find somebody that
-
does. So, anyway,
-
so now we could just go through so many
-
times. The blind man in John nine, we've
-
got the the uh the guy deaf and
-
impediment in his speech in John the 7th
-
chapter. We got the blind guy in John,
-
I'm sorry, Mark the 8th chapter. We've
-
got all these cases, but about one out
-
of four, Jesus just walked up and
-
delivered a miracle to somebody. Well,
-
that leaves three out of four that some
-
something else happened. What was that?
-
He'd minister to them. He'd put
-
something in them. Uh Luke the 13th
-
chapter. Okay. Jesus is he's teaching in
-
the synagogue. And behold, there is a
-
woman that has a spirit of infirmity for
-
18 years. Was bowed over together could
-
in no wise lift up herself. Jesus saw
-
her, called her to. She's he's been
-
teaching. She's been listening. When he
-
calls her to the front, she's ready to
-
receive. Woman, thou art loose from that
-
infirmity. She gets healed. Luke the 6th
-
chapter. multitude came from all the
-
region round about to hear him and to be
-
healed of their infirmities. So there's
-
this side where where God's got these
-
dimensions where he can and will work
-
miracles for people, set folks free. I
-
could tell you so many people that we've
-
been able to watch over the years just
-
get a freebie. I'm telling you, Leah,
-
last person in the world ever expected
-
one. We've seen people get all kinds of
-
of u ju just God just doing amazing
-
things for people. Okay, no faith
-
involved. They weren't expecting
-
anything to happen. It shocked them more
-
than anybody. But anyway, so we've got
-
that and but but then three out of four
-
times somebody got something. It was
-
because they heard Jesus. Three out of
-
four times about 75% of the time Jesus
-
either said or inferred your faith made
-
you whole. Okay. Okay. The woman in Mark
-
5, daughter, your faith made you whole.
-
Okay. Um, goodness. Matthew the 9th
-
chapter, the two blind men that came
-
into the house. Jesus said, "What do you
-
want me to do?" They said, "That we
-
might receive our sight." He said, "Did
-
you believe I can do this?" They said,
-
"Yes, Lord." Then he he said, "Then
-
according to your faith, so be it done
-
unto you." So, we've got these two
-
sides. And um I'll finish with an
-
example of this.
-
Um,
-
most of the time you cannot be
-
guaranteed that God's just going to
-
reach out and do something a Holy Ghost
-
freebie. If you get one, enjoy it, okay?
-
And and and don't be surprised if people
-
start showing up going, "Man, I don't
-
know what happened all of a sudden."
-
We've had people in our service when we
-
were at East Central. Guyy's sitting way
-
in the back, sitting back there, uh,
-
another man in the church brought him,
-
it was a business meeting they had,
-
brought him church. And the guy in the
-
middle of the service, the guy turned
-
around and he said, "Somebody's got
-
their hand on me back on my back, but
-
there's nobody back there."
-
Well, by the end of the service, he's
-
totally healed. He goes back home. His
-
business partner calls him up on the
-
phone, gets him born again, and he's
-
healed in his body. Well, we've we've we
-
should we should be seeing those things
-
happen all the time. It ought to be
-
going on on a regular basis. But but
-
[snorts] if that's one out of four, what
-
about the other three? What what should
-
we see the most of?
-
Jesus went round about their cities and
-
villages, teaching in their synagogues,
-
preaching the gospel of the kingdom and
-
healing every manner of sickness and
-
every manner of disease among the
-
people. We ought to be expecting more
-
miracles by people hearing the word.
-
>> I'm going to say that again. We ought to
-
be expecting more healings and miracles
-
for people for people hearing the word.
-
>> Teach, preach, and heal. If Jesus had to
-
teach, preach, and heal, the church is
-
we we don't get a freebie. We don't get
-
a shortcut out of this. If we'll teach
-
and preach, the healing will show up,
-
but it usually doesn't show up until
-
after healing. Healing shows up after
-
the teaching and preaching. Okay? That's
-
the way it's normally going to work. So,
-
anyway,
-
I I'll give you an example and finish
-
with this. Um, we we could spend time we
-
could we could go through the the the
-
75% in the Gospels and find so many
-
people that got miracles because they
-
took time to sit in here. took time to
-
sit here. I I remember I'll finish I
-
I'll talk about this. We I remember um I
-
was working for brother Hagen and we
-
were at uh Dr. Fred Price's church out
-
in Cshaw, California and um couple of us
-
were working his product table had you
-
know the the books and the cassettes and
-
all that and uh still remember one lady
-
came rushing in there had a car parked
-
out in front came rushing in there and
-
it was a late afternoon coming into the
-
evening service. She said, "When's
-
brother Hagen going to pray for the
-
sick?" I said, "I don't have the
-
slightest idea. You never know when he's
-
going to minister to the sick. You never
-
know when he's going to lay hands on the
-
sick. Why?" "Well, I got a bunch of
-
stuff I've got to do, and I don't have
-
time to do this. So, I want to know when
-
he's going to minister to the sick and
-
I'll go take care of my business and
-
come back in time to get prayed for.
-
Now, I was nicer back then.
-
There was so much I wanted to say and I
-
didn't." I just said, "Well, you know,
-
whatever." Kind of left it at that. But
-
I thought, "No, don't waste your time.
-
Don't waste your time. Don't even bother
-
coming back. You're not going to get
-
anything. If that's all the respect you
-
have for the word of God, if that's all
-
the respect you got for the anointing of
-
God, just go do your business. Just go
-
take care of things. You're not going to
-
get anything,
-
>> loser. You're not going to get
-
anything."
-
I didn't say that. It just popped out.
-
[laughter]
-
I'm much nicer then. Well, now well
-
anyway. Anyway, anyway, the part I want
-
to get to is probably the best example
-
I've heard of how this has worked in
-
people's lives was I I've read so much
-
um
-
about and by Dr. Lillian B. Yman's.
-
Okay, there were there were four books.
-
I think there's one book now that's all
-
included into one. But um Dr. Yman's was
-
a medical doctor. uh really she was born
-
in the late 1800s and she died I think
-
1940
-
1942 I think when she died went home but
-
um Dr. Dr. Yman's uh medical doctor. Her
-
mother was a medical doctor. She was a
-
medical doctor. She'd gone to I think
-
the University of Michigan where she got
-
her training. And um she was just doing
-
what she was doing. Well, somehow in the
-
middle of her life, uh she got to
-
working too hard, doing too much, trying
-
to get too much done. Nobody's ever done
-
that before, have they? And before long,
-
she's she's taken uh medication to help
-
her stay awake and to do the job. And
-
put a put it bluntly, she became highly
-
addicted to uh morphine and some other
-
medications. And she got to where she
-
got she got to where she was so sick. I
-
think I I think I read she had over 60
-
attempts to try to get herself set free.
-
And she's she's uh addicted. Uh she went
-
places to try to get help and they said
-
she looked like a skeleton with skin
-
stretched over it. She was leaving. She
-
was dying. There's nothing anybody could
-
do. And um uh make a long story short,
-
she found her way to John Alexander
-
Dawi's uh healing rooms. She went to one
-
of those and she's dying. He took all of
-
her medications away. She's dying there.
-
But a the Holy Ghost spoke to her and
-
said, "Go to such and such a meeting
-
tonight." She said, "I don't think I
-
can." He didn't seem to care. She went
-
there and she started getting better.
-
And before long, she was totally well.
-
And for the next 40 years, she and her
-
sister had a healing room. healing he
-
healing house I believe in Canada and uh
-
they saw more healings and more
-
miracles. She wrote books uh had amazing
-
understanding of divine healing. So
-
she uh
-
she's ministering to people but they
-
from what I understand they wouldn't you
-
know I mean you only got so much room in
-
a place like that and there's a lot of
-
sick people. So they wouldn't let
-
anybody in to come live in this house to
-
get better unless they were given up by
-
medical science to die. If they got any
-
chance of living and they're not coming
-
in here, then go live. But the bottom
-
line is if you're coming in here to try
-
to get something, if you're not if
-
you're not given up by medical science
-
to die, no use coming in here. So they'd
-
bring people in on stretchers on a CS
-
and bring them in there. And they uh
-
they brought this lady in there. She was
-
she was just taking her last breath.
-
They said, "Take her upstairs, put her
-
in such and such a room up there." Well,
-
they didn't have all the recording
-
devices we'd have. So, they'd open their
-
Bibles, she and her sister, and they'd
-
go and read healing scriptures to her,
-
but hour after hour after hour after
-
hour. Well, it's the same as getting it
-
from a, you know, iPhone or something.
-
And they kept reading verses, reading
-
verses, reading verses, reading verses.
-
Well, she got to where it, you know, it
-
started to work in her system. She could
-
she could get a breath now and then. She
-
she could got a little better. And Dr.
-
Yman said, "Uh, tell you what I'm going
-
to have you do." She said, "What's
-
that?" Said, "I want you to get over
-
this." They didn't they didn't do this
-
just to see how many they could get
-
healed. They wouldn't let them in unless
-
they knew they could get them healed.
-
But medical science going to have to
-
give up on him before they'll even give
-
him a room in there. So anyway, they
-
said u
-
she said, "I want you to do something
-
for me." The lady said, "Well, I'll do
-
it. Is it easy? I don't Doesn't matter
-
if it's easy. I want you to do it." She
-
said, "Whatever you want." She said, 'I
-
want you, every time you think of it, I
-
want you to say according to Deuteronomy
-
28:61, my sickness, my disease is a
-
curse of the broken law.
-
I'll say that again. Deuteronomy chapter
-
28:61. You can read that. Deuteronomy
-
28th chapter, first 14 verses are about
-
the blessings of Abraham. Verse 15-68 or
-
69 are all the curse that'll come on you
-
if you disobey God. It was the law. It
-
was the It was the law. the good side
-
and the bad side. She said, she said to
-
her, she said, "I want you, every time
-
you think of it, I want you to say, see
-
if you can get people's words
-
straightened out." Because if you get
-
their word straightened out, you'll get
-
their believing straightened out. It's
-
got to It's usually got to start here.
-
Well, I I don't know if I got my
-
believing right. Get your talking right,
-
it'll straighten out your believing.
-
said, "I want you, every time you think
-
about it, I want you to say according to
-
Deuteronomy chapter 20, this dead lady
Deuteronomy 20 chapter mention
-
doesn't. She's she knows nothing. She's
-
dying. I want you to say according to
-
Deuteronomy 28:61,
-
my sickness, whatever it was, my
-
sickness, my disease is a curse of the
-
broken law. But according to Galatians
-
3:13, Christ has redeemed me from the
-
curse of the law, so I don't have it
-
anymore."
-
>> The lady said, "I don't understand." She
-
said, "I didn't ask you to understand
-
it. I just asked you to say it." Okay.
-
So, she said left her there and then,
-
you know, all night long. They came in
-
the next morning, asked the lady, "How
-
you doing?" "No, I'm I'm not a bit
-
better. I'm just as bad as I was last
-
night." "Well, did you do what I told
-
you to do?" "Well, yeah, but I don't get
-
it." I don't care if you get it or not.
-
Did you do what I told you to do? Well,
-
yeah. What did Tell me what I want to
-
make sure you get it right. What did you
-
do? Well, I said I said I said according
-
to Deuteronomy 28:61, "My sickness, my
-
disease is a curse of the broken law,
-
but according to Galatians 3:13, Christ
-
has redeemed me from the curse of the
-
broken law, so I don't have it anymore."
-
Good. She says, "But I don't understand
-
it." She said, "Don't bother about that.
-
Just keep saying it. It will register
-
eventually."
-
>> See if the church will get that.
-
>> It it'll it will register. The word will
-
work. But you got to get the word
-
working into where it can work. Real
-
faith is of the heart. So
-
she I mean all day long she'd go and see
-
her. How you doing? Oh, I'm about the
-
same. Did you do what I told you? Yes.
-
Yes. Yes, I did. Dr. Yman's I've said
-
that. I've said that so many times over
-
and over and over and I I just I don't
-
feel a bit better. She said, I don't
-
care how you feel. What did you do?
-
According to Deuteronomy 28:61, my
-
sickness, my disease, my infirmity is a
-
curse of the broken law. But according
-
to Galatians 3:13, Christ says, "Redeem
-
me from the curse." This is New
-
Testament stuff. This is not something
-
under the law. This is what the law said
-
you're going to get. And this is what
-
the the gospel says you Jesus got for
-
you.
-
>> So anyway, she said, "No, I just didn't
-
do it." She said, "Just keep doing it."
-
Persistence.
-
Just keep doing it all night long. She's
-
I don't know day, two days, three days,
-
whatever it was. This lady, I mean, she
-
she she's dying. That's why they let her
-
in the place.
-
Medical science can't help her. Nobody
-
can help her.
-
But they said just keep saying it. Just
-
keep Jesus. If he'd teach, preach, and
-
heal, but people didn't get healed until
-
they listen to the teaching and
-
preaching. That's really simple. If we
-
just take that truth and go, if it'll
-
work for them, it'll work for me. If
-
Jesus said it'll work for him and I can
-
do it, I'm going to do the same thing.
-
I'm going to tell people something to
-
listen to and if they'll hear it, they
-
believe it, they're going to get it.
-
Sounds pretty easy. I'm glad God doesn't
-
make it complicated. So anyway, anyway,
-
she uh she and her sister were down
-
having breakfast in downstairs. They had
-
this healing house together and said all
-
of a sudden
-
all of a sudden they heard all this
-
racket upstairs. Heard all this rack
-
sound like somebody jumping and dancing.
-
and they didn't know what it was. And so
-
all of a sudden, here comes this lady,
-
carried her in about three days earlier
-
on a stretcher. She's dying. She's
-
taking her last breath. All of a sudden,
-
she's running down the stairs, jumping
-
up and down, dancing, going, "Dr.
-
Yman's, Dr. Yman's." According to
-
Deuteronomy 28:61, my sickness, my
-
disease was a curse of the broken law.
-
But according Galatians 3:13, Christ has
-
redeemed me from the curse of the law. I
-
am redeemed. I want you to know I got
-
it. I got it. I got it. I'm totally
-
healed. I'm healthy. Jesus took what I
-
had. He bore it for me. I want you to
-
know I'm well. She's singing and she's
-
dancing and all that. What happened? She
-
got it.
-
>> If it'll work then, it'll work today.
-
>> Jesus, what about teaching, preaching,
-
and healing? Hallelujah.
-
>> Oh, we could spend all day on all that
-
and it'll work.
-
>> It will work.
-
>> It'll work if we work it.
-
>> I took geometry in school. I don't know
-
why.
-
I love math. I loved algebra. I loved
-
algebra, too. I love Oh, I loved I did
-
not like history. I did not I didn't
-
like all this other stuff, you know,
-
English.
-
I know that's news, but anyway, I didn't
-
know any of this, but I thought, "Oh,
-
math is great. It's so simple. I don't
-
even have to study that." Then I
-
thought, "Well, I'll take geometry."
-
They said, "That's good." I took
-
geometry, and inside of the first week,
-
I thought, "This stuff doesn't work."
-
I went to my teacher. I said, "I I took
-
this, but I'm I'm telling you, this does
-
not work. I've tried it. I've got it
-
doesn't work. She said, "You just keep
-
sticking with it." I said, "No, I've
-
stuck with it already. It doesn't work.
-
I've tried it." But it's working for
-
people around me. That's the problem.
-
How come they get it and I don't get it.
-
I never did get it. But anyway,
-
but anyway, I found out geometry only
-
works if you work it.
-
>> It's a guarantee. It'll always work.
-
It's a sure thing, but it only works if
-
you work it. Healing is a sure thing,
-
but it'll only work if we work it.
-
>> If we'll work it, if we'll work it, you
-
know, well, I'm waiting for God to No,
-
don't wait for God to do it. He did his
-
part 2,000 years ago. If you're waiting
-
for him to heal you, you're too late. By
-
whose stripes you were. If you were, you
-
are.
-
>> If we're waiting for him to do it, we're
-
man, we're we're behind the curve on
-
this thing. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
Let's all stand to our feet.
-
Now, we're going to take time this
-
morning and uh for those of you that
-
say, "I I need a healing in my body. I
-
want to be ministered to for healing."
-
Okay? May not be everybody. Maybe just a
-
few people in here. I don't know. But
-
we're going to take some time and we're
-
going to minister to you. All right?
-
Why? Because we've covered the word.
-
Luke 13:16, Jesus said, "Ought not this
-
woman being a daughter of Abraham whom
-
Satan is bound. lo these 18 years be
-
loose from this bond on the Sabbath day.
-
Man, if she could have it in the earthly
-
ministry of Jesus, we could have it in
-
the earthly ministry of the body of
-
Christ. It's just a m It's just a matter
-
of taking it. Don't care what's wrong
-
with you. Don't care what the do what
-
the doctor has said.
-
Doesn't matter what the doctor said.
-
Doesn't it doesn't matter what the uh
-
outcome is, what the diagnosis,
-
prognosis, doesn't make any does not
-
make any difference. The only difference
-
is what do you believe? What are you
-
believing and what are you saying? And
-
if you just say it, it'll get to where
-
you believe it. If you believe it and
-
say it, you're going to get it. You can
-
walk out totally free. Doesn't make any
-
difference. People all over the nation,
-
all over the world, they have gotten
-
healed miracles in their body because
-
they just took time to hear and believe.
-
If it'll work for them, it'll sure work
-
for us. [music] Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
Well, let's lift our hands and thank
-
him. Father, in the wonderful name of
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I thank you,
-
Father.
-
You paid the price. [music] We're not
-
waiting for you to. You already did
-
that. You paid the price for us. For
-
every one of us. Every one of us.
-
Whatever is trying to be wrong with our
-
bodies. Every one of us by whose stripes
-
we were. We were. We I know people right
-
now. I know people I know people well
-
that are standing taking a stand. And
-
their declaration is my the debt's been
-
paid. Somebody already redeemed me.
-
Somebody paid the price. Somebody
-
carried what I was so I can be what they
-
are.
-
So I thank you dear father for working
-
together with us confirming your [music]
-
word with signs following in Jesus name.
-
Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Amen. Well let
-
me ask you this. How many here say I'd
-
like to be ministered to for healing.
-
Won't take long. We're not going to drag
-
a lot of time off. If you want to be
-
ministered to for healing, just just
-
hold your hand up. Okay. All right. If
-
you'll just kind of make your way out
-
into the aisle and head come toward the
-
front. Uh I'll have Pastor Janet on one
-
end of the line. I'll get on the other
-
end and we will [music] we will do what
-
we know to do.
-
Hallelujah.
-
We all know cases of people that are
-
sick. People that are there is no no way
-
they're going to get any better. No way
-
it's ever going to work. Well, Jesus,
-
like somebody said, Jesus middle name
-
was the I am the way. It's a middle
-
name.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God.
-
Now, your job's not to see if you feel
-
something. Your job is not to see if you
-
feel you don't don't get ministered to
-
and say, "I didn't feel any better."
-
Doesn't matter what you feel. Does not
-
make a bit of difference what you feel.
-
It's what you believe that makes a
-
difference. Okay? It Well, I don't, you
-
know, just I don't feel it anywhere in
-
my body. Well, that it'd be great if you
-
did, but if you don't, still doesn't
-
make any difference. doesn't make a bit
-
of difference if you'll just take it. If
-
you just salvation, I don't know about
-
you, when I got my life right with God,
-
I didn't feel any better.
-
Went back to my dorm, did great for
-
about three days, and then backslid. Was
-
not a good thing.
-
But eventually, I got hold of the fact
-
it's not what I feel like. I don't feel
-
saved. I don't feel better. It's not
-
what I feel. It's what I believe. And I
-
know I got my life right with God. That
-
was 1972. and we're a couple years down
-
the road. It worked. So, Pastor Janet's
-
going to be at one end of the other. I'm
-
going to go to the other end. We're
-
going to lay hands on you. Same
-
anointing that operates in my life
-
operates in her life. And there's an
-
anointing. Jesus said, "The spirit of
-
the Lord's upon me because he's anointed
-
me." It's the anointing of the Holy
-
Ghost that makes a difference. So, we're
-
going to come by. We're going to lay
-
hands on you. Probably won't ask you
-
what's wrong. [music] Probably does. If
-
I was doing the healing, I'd ask you,
-
but I'm not doing the healing, so I
-
probably won't ask. It's the anointing
-
that makes the difference. Hallelujah.
-
Father, in the name of Jesus, [music] we
-
uh we we we minister to each one of
-
these.
-
Thank you, Father, for physical healing
-
flowing into their bodies from the top
-
of their head to the soles of their
-
feet. Thank you, dear Father, the
-
anointing of the Holy Ghost. Oh my.
-
There you go. That's it right there in
-
Jesus name. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. In the My goodness. There
-
you go. In the name. In the name. In the
-
name. In the name. Oh, there you go.
-
That's strong.
-
That That's That's [music] what heals
-
you. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. It's you.
-
[singing and music]
-
>> Oh. from the top of your head to the
-
soles of your feet. [singing]
-
>> Be healed in Jesus name.
-
>> Oh yeah. [music] What' you do there?
-
>> Playing
-
soccer. I won't tell anybody.
-
>> Oh Jesus. [music] There you go. There
-
you go. There you go. Oh, be healed from
-
the top of your head to the soles of
-
your feet.
-
>> There it is. [music] There it is. There
-
it is. There it is.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. In the there
-
in the in the in the name.
-
[singing and music] In the name. Oh
-
yeah.
-
>> Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
We won't we won't stop ministering to
-
you until the anointing [music] of God's
-
flowing into your bodies [singing] in
-
Jesus name.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah. I know the boss taste.
-
[music]
-
My goodness.
-
>> In the name.
-
[singing and music]
-
>> Hallelujah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
-
[music]
-
>> There you go.
-
[singing]
-
[music]
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
The work has [music and singing] been
-
done.
-
I'm already
-
[music and singing]
-
[music]
-
sick. [singing]
-
>> Stand on [music] your word.
-
It's our father's will. [music]
-
My work has done.
-
I'm [singing] already
-
>> I'm [music] already here.
-
I've been made whole. [music]
-
Mention [singing] his name
-
must [music] go.
-
Stand on [singing] your word.
-
It's our [music] father's will.
-
The work.
-
[music]
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
What a wonderful healing.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Someone's got a healing
-
taking place right now. It's [music] uh
-
it's not in your kidneys. Actually, I
-
would say below your kidneys. I don't
-
think it's in your in the bottom part of
-
your spine. It's just actually very
-
bottom part of your back [music]
-
below the kidneys, but it's working its
-
way. It's been working its way across
-
your back, leaving you with a lot of
-
pain and discomfort. I just know where
-
it I don't know what it is. I just know
-
where it is. It's down in that area down
-
below the kidneys and just down in the
-
lower part of the back down there. Power
-
of God's healing that right now. He paid
-
the price for it. He just don't He just
-
wants you to take it. Hallelu. If that's
-
you, raise your hand up and just just
-
receive it. Say, I I take that right
-
now. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
Hallelujah. Yes, sir. Just go ahead and
-
take that. Just check it out. Check it
-
out.
-
Where's the pain?
-
In the back. Where is it right now? Is
-
it gone? Did it go away? Good. It's not
-
coming back either. Hallelujah. [music]
-
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Where's the
-
per where's the person you you have you
-
have u had a battle with asthma. There's
-
been an asthmatic condition in your body
-
and u I don't know when it [music] tends
-
to get worse. I don't know when it tends
-
to get better. Don't know anything about
-
it. But there's something there's an
-
asthmatic condition in your body. If
-
that's you, wave your hand at me.
-
Hallelujah. [music] I see a hand up
-
there. Yes, sir. Glory to God.
-
asthmatic condition in [music] there.
-
That's no good. Hallelujah. Glory to
-
God. Hallelujah. [music] Maybe Jab, go
-
over and just lay your hands on her
-
right now. Yeah. Both of you. Yeah.
-
Yes, sir. Just hold your hand again back
-
there. I saw your hand. Yes, sir.
-
[music] Anybody else?
-
I don't know what it I I I understand
-
it's a really miserable thing,
-
especially when it comes on. You can't
-
get rid of it. Well, time to get rid of
-
that. In the name of Jesus Christ of
-
Nazareth, I curse that condition. I
-
command it to cease and desist. [music]
-
Disappear, dissipate, stop existing. Dry
-
up, die, and go away. I c I curse that
-
asmetic asthmetic condition. I command
-
it to go away in the wonderful name of
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Thank you for
-
it, dear Father. Hallelujah. [music]
-
Oh, and there's that blood that blood
-
condition being healed right now. I
-
don't know what that is. [music] I don't
-
know what the curse the source of it is,
-
but it's a curse of the broken law and
-
Christ redeemed us. We are redeemed. The
-
price has been paid. I curse every bit
-
of that blood condition. I command it to
-
cease and desist, [music] disappear and
-
dissipate. Be well in Jesus name.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
>> Hallelujah. Glory to God. Amen. Amen.
-
Amen. Well, we ought to give him thanks.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
Glory to God. If you just bow your
-
heads, close your eyes for a moment. If
-
you're here today and you say, "Pastor
-
Mark, [music] I uh my life's not right
-
with God.
-
Things are not right between God and me.
-
He didn't mess it up. I did. Things are
-
not right between God and me, and I want
-
to get this straight. Now, I want to
-
know when I leave the building today
-
that God and I are okay. He did his
-
part. He He He He paid his part. He did
-
what he needed to do. Now I need I'm
-
doing what I need to do. I'm taking hold
-
of that. I'm receiving right now the
-
benefits of what Jesus paid for. If
-
that's you, say, "Pastor, I'm going to
-
lift my hand up and ask you to minister.
-
Pray for me. [music] I need a healing. I
-
need I need a I need to get things right
-
between God and me." Hallelujah. He paid
-
He paid for my peace of mind. He paid
-
for my walk with him. He paid took my
-
place so I could [music] take his.
-
Anybody here? Just wave your hand at me.
-
All right.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Oh, Father, in the name of
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, [music] I
-
thank you so much. Thank you, Father.
-
Power of your word, what you've done for
-
us and in us and to us and [music]
-
through us. And I thank you, Father, for
-
so many bodies. The power of virtue of
-
the Lord Jesus is working through bodies
-
right now in [music] Jesus name. We
-
receive it. We thank you for it in the
-
name of Jesus. Amen.
