Shalom, beloved. You are warmly welcome to today's Morning Glory devotion.
-
I count it a great privilege to be bringing you
-
a devotional message written by Mr. and Mrs. Kusi from
-
the Harvest Chapel International, Dinamiku Masl. Let us kindly share
-
a word of prayer. Our Heavenly Father, we thank you
-
for the blessing of a new day. Guided right here
-
in your presence, we humbly ask that you teach us
-
and open our hearts to receive and understand your word.
-
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Let us kindly take our
-
confession for today from Joshua 1-8. Joshua 1-8 This book
-
of the law shall not depart from my mouth, but
-
I shall meditate in it day and night, that I
-
may observe to do according to all that is written
-
in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,
-
and then I will have good success. Amen. Today's message,
-
written by Mr. and Mrs. Kusi, is titled, BUILD FOR
-
THE BATTLE BUILD FOR THE BATTLE Our scripture reading shall
-
be taken from James chapter 1, the verse 2 to 4.

James 1 chapter mention
-
be reading from the New Living Translation. Dear brothers and sisters,
-
when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it
-
an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when
-
your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
-
So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed,
-
you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. The Lord
-
add his blessings to the reading and hearing of this word.
-
Thanks be to God. Amen. Build for the battle. Build
-
for the battle. My wife and I were recently looking
-
back on our daughter's first few months at daycare. Because
-
we both work, she started at a very tender age.
-
We found a wonderful facility. The staff were attentive, the
-
rooms were spotless, and every hygiene rule was followed perfectly. Yet,
-
almost from her very first week, it felt as though
-
she was constantly unwell. In one week, she had a
-
persistent runny nose. The next, a heavy cough. Then came
-
the fevers. Just when we thought she was finally turning
-
a corner, another symptom would appear. As periods, we were anxious.
-
Every sniffle felt like a crisis we needed to solve.
-
Then some healthcare professionals gave us some reassuring advice. They
-
explained that while we must care for her, This constant
-
cycle was completely normal. Our daughter was young and her
-
immune system was still learning. By encountering these common bugs,
-
her body was being trained to recognize and fight them.
-
Those difficult weeks were quietly building her defense system for
-
the future. The illnesses were measurable and we hated seeing
-
her suffer, but they were part of a larger process
-
of growing stronger. A while ago, we realized something remarkable.
-
It has been months since she last caught one of
-
those endless bouts of flu. Somewhere along the way, substantive
-
growth has taken place. What looked like one setback after
-
another had actually been building her up. This made me
-
think about our walk with Christ. How often do we
-
beg God for strength, but pray we never face a struggle?
-
How often do we ask for patience, but hate the
-
waiting room? We want deep faith, but we want a
-
life free from uncertainty. The truth we often try to
-
avoid is that the finest Christian virtues are forged in
-
uncomfortable places. James tells us to count it all joy
-
when we meet trials of various kinds, because the testing
-
of our faith produces steadfastness. Notice he does not say
-
the trial itself feels joyful. Disappointment cuts deep. Financial burdens
-
weigh heavily on your chest. Unanswered prayers leave us confused
-
and quiet in the dark. But God never wastes a season.
-
He is not just trying to get you through the storm.
-
He transforms you through the storm. Beloved, maybe you are
-
in a season right now where you feel constantly under attack,
-
moving from one crisis to the other. Take heart, the
-
trial that feels unbearable might just be the very circumstance
-
God is employing to build an unshakable faith within you.
-
for what lies ahead. We pray that God will give
-
you the grace to endure your storm of transformation. God
-
richly bless you. Let us kindly take our memory verse
-
for today. Our memory verse is taken from Romans chapter

verse 3 to 4. I will be reading from the
-
New Living Translation. We can rejoice too when we run
-
into problems and trials. For we know that they help
-
us develop endurance, and endurance develops strength of character, and
-
character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. We can rejoice too,
-
when we run into problems and trials. For we know
-
that they help us develop endurance, and endurance develops strength

of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. Amen.
-
Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Our Heavenly Father,
-
we thank you for your refining process in our lives.
-
We ask for your forgiveness for the times we have
-
prayed for strength yet complained about the very struggles you
-
allowed to build it. Please grant us the grace to
-
trust your hand in the uncomfortable places we go through.
-
Help us to count it all joy when we face
-
various trials, knowing that you never waste a season of suffering,
-
but you are using it to build our endurance and
-
forge within us an unshakable faith for the future. In
-
Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Precious one, God never wastes a
-
season of hardship. The trials that feel unbearable right now
-
are quietly building an unshakable faith and defense system for
-
your future. God richly bless you. Amen. God richly bless
-
you for actively listening to today's Morning Glory devotion. We
-
hope you have been edified. Kindly join us again for
