I'm so grateful that you could join me for this
-
evening live stream here on YouTube. We're going to talk
-
about Zechariah chapter 11, the slaughtering shepherds. Of course, the
Zechariah 11 chapter mention
-
KJV title for this chapter is the doomed flock. That
-
is pretty apropos. The New King James Version, starting in
-
verse 4, calls this the prophecy of the shepherds. So
-
let's get into it. God bless everybody. Matthew Miller here
-
from Maranatha Ministries. Today we're going to talk about once
-
again what Jesus Christ talks about in the first 14
-
verses of Matthew chapter 24. In verse 8, the New
Matthew 24 chapter mention
-
King James and the King James Version both say The
-
beginning of sorrows. That's not what the Greek says. The
-
Greek has one word. Odin in Greek. That's contraction. It
-
is specifically the birth pangs in labor. So they're literally contractions.
-
We in English call that contractions. Just a few statements later,
-
he calls this period before the abomination tribulation. Not great tribulations.
-
He says that's after the abomination of desolation. So we
-
are going to go through the birth pangs. And it
-
is amazing. It is amazing to me that people today,
-
when I talk about it, it takes them by complete
-
surprise and causes them great, great, great discomfort of mind.
-
The great apostasy.
-
Is not, it is not, done by Muslims or Buddhists
-
or pagans or atheists.
-
It's carried out inside the church. It is an apostasy.
-
It is a divorce. That's what the Greek language is
-
in reference to, a divorce. It's a divorce between Christians
-
and their God. That's what it is, apostasy. Literally, that
-
Greek word means divorce. So, this is not from atheists.
-
Atheists were never Christians. Buddhists were never... People who practice
-
witchcraft cannot divorce God. They can't. They were never in
-
a covenant with Him. We just talked about the difference
-
between dispensational and covenant theology yesterday in our live streams.
-
Covenant means divorce. So, no one understands This is what
-
Zechariah chapter 11 is talking about. It's talking about those
Zechariah 11 chapter mention
-
first 14 verses in Matthew chapter 24. People inside the church,
Matthew 24 chapter mention
-
people who have only been water baptized, that's not been
-
born again. They have done what Hebrews chapter 10 verses
-
26 through 29 states happens to people that get water
-
baptized They take the covenant, they come into the body
-
of Christ and continue willfully sinning. After a period of time,
-
this rebellion insults the spirit of grace and they cannot
-
be born again. They cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit.
-
Please read Hebrews chapter 10. Write it down longhand. On
Hebrews 10 chapter mention
-
a three by five card or something. Hebrews chapter 10.
Hebrews 10 chapter mention
-
Verses 26 through 29. If you do that. You cannot
-
be baptized in the Holy Spirit. If you continue to
-
sin willfully. It's not going to happen. So this is
-
what this is about. When the great apostasy occurs. This
-
is before. The abomination of desolation. It's before. Before. the
-
three and a half year tribulation. That's what's being talked
-
about here. Here in other prophetic verses, you have to
-
be familiar with the entire text of the word from
-
Genesis to Revelation. This isn't the first time when he
-
says there's coming a time in a flood of many waters,
-
your prayers won't reach him. This ain't the first time
-
he said this. So we don't have time in the
-
context of this you know, 20 or 30 minute live
-
stream to go over all those redundant verses. It's everywhere.
-
It's not one place. It's everywhere. So it's important that
-
you realize he's talking about shepherds. This is categorically not
-
talking about atheists or anybody else. These people are churchgoers
-
and they're clergy. They're his shepherds that are shepherding his
-
Christian flock. The people have entered a covenant with him
-
specifically by taking communion or what the church in the
-
East calls the Eucharist. I read it in my last
-
live stream. When you enter into a covenant with him,
-
you're entering into a marriage relationship with him. And if
-
you turn from that, in Greek that's called apostasy. You
-
apostatize yourself from God. So this is what Matthew chapter
Matthew 26 chapter mention
-
26 in verses 26 through 29, Jesus Christ painfully lays
-
out for you. There is only one covenant. It's a
-
marriage covenant. And if you apostatize yourself, it's because you've
-
insulted the spirit of grace. So let's get into this.
-
Let's pick it up in verse four. I mean, we
-
could go to the first three verses, but I don't
-
need to continually reiterate myself to those of you that's
-
been born again. When I do this, it's only beneficial
-
to those who have not been baptized in the Spirit,
-
and they reject it anyway. So let's start in verse 4.
-
You need to realize this is talking about you, those
-
of you in the congregation of Christ who've been born again.
-
And it's saying it for a reason. This is the
-
time when in Revelation the seven sealed double-sided scroll is
-
released from God the Father's hand. He releases it and
-
gives it to the Lord Jesus Christ. That's when this happens.
-
Verse 4 of Zechariah chapter 11. Thus says the Lord
Zechariah 11 chapter mention
-
my God feed the flock For slaughter. Whose owners. Slaughter them.
-
And feel no guilt. Jesus Christ said. They were going
-
to make a martyr out of you. These are your
-
fellow congregants. That's not been born again. This is your clergy.
-
They don't work for Christ. Those who sell them. Say,
-
blessed be the Lord, for I am rich. And their
-
shepherds do not pity them. There is coming a time
-
when your clergy will be paid to inform on you
-
that you're a Bible believer. You've been born again. They
-
that you won't adhere to their theological myths, and you
-
actually believe the Bible, they're going to turn you in,
-
and the government's going to pay them to do it.
-
Verse 6. For I will no longer pity the inhabitants
-
of the land, says the Lord, but indeed I will
-
give everyone into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand
-
of his king. They shall attack the land, and I
-
will not deliver them from their hand. Jesus Christ said
-
this to his own disciples in the first 14 verses
-
of Matthew chapter 24. I don't understand why people don't
Matthew 24 chapter mention
-
believe him. Anyway, thus saith the word. Verse 7. So
-
I fed the flock for slaughter in particular. Oh, my goodness.
-
In particular, the poor of the flock. Sorry about my dog.
-
In particular, the poor of the flock. I took for
-
myself two staffs, the one I called Beauty and the
-
other I called Bonds. And I fed the flock. I
-
dismissed three shepherds in one month. My soul loathed them
-
and their soul also. adhoored me. This is literally talking
-
about preachers, people. It's talking about priests. It's talking about bishops.
-
These three shepherds are the three horns that the little
-
horn approves. The man of sin that accepts the deal
-
from the devil that was offered to Jesus Christ in
-
Matthew chapter 4. This man of sin accepts the deal
Matthew 4 chapter mention
-
and becomes the son of perdition. He is a Christian.
-
He is a Christian. Verse 9. Then I said, I
-
will not feed you. Let what is dying die and
-
what is perishing. Let those who are left eat each
-
other's flesh. This is the fourth seal. This is the
-
fourth seal. You will not be delivered until Daniel chapter
-
7 verse 22. That's the sixth seal event. God intervenes
-
for us on the sixth seal event. Yes, it's going
-
to get bad. You're going through the birth pains. Thus
-
saith the Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 10. And I took
-
my staff beauty and cut it in two that I
-
may break the covenant which I made with all the peoples.
-
Have any of you read Daniel chapter 9? There's only
Daniel 9 chapter mention
-
one covenant. It's mentioned twice in Daniel chapter 9. Anyway.
Daniel 9 chapter mention
-
This is just saying what he said then. The word
-
is just saying it in a different way. He's telling
-
you the same thing. Verse 11. So it was broken
-
on that day. Thus the poor of the flock who
-
were watching me knew that it was the word of
-
the Lord. Verse 12. Then I said to them. If
-
it is agreeable to you. Give me my wages. And
-
if not refrain. So they weighed out for my wages.
-
30 pieces of silver. They will hand you up to
-
the synagogue. They will kill you. And now you know
-
the price. They're getting paid. to do it. These are
-
the same exact wages that he mentioned just a few
-
short verses ago. He just told you how much these
-
shepherds got for you. So I took the 30 pieces
-
of silver and threw them to the house of the
-
Lord for the potter. Then I cut into my other
-
staff bonds that I might break the brotherhood between Judah
-
and Israel. And the Lord said to me, Next, take
-
for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd. Ah, here
-
we go. The rise of the son of perdition. For indeed,
-
I will raise up a shepherd in the land who
-
will not care for those who are cut off, nor
-
seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor
-
feed those that still stand. But he will eat the
-
flesh of the fat and tear their hooves in pieces. Lord,
-
have mercy. You're going through the birth pangs. Verse 17.
-
Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock. A
-
sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye.
-
His right arm shall completely wither and his right eye
-
shall be totally blind. Do not presume that when the
-
beast from the earth rises, and I've said this before
-
in other live streams, look at the Septuagint for yourself.
-
These are the same exact phrases in Greek. When Samuel
-
rose from the earth, it's the same exact Greek phrase
-
that's used in Revelation chapter 13, when the beast that
Revelation 13 chapter mention
-
rises from the earth, that beast, God will kill on
-
the great day of the Lord. And he will rise
-
from the grave. He will rise from the grave, but
-
when he does, his right eye won't work, and his
-
right arm will be completely ruined. I'm sure they will
-
hide this in his garments. There's another thing you need
-
to know about him. I did a live stream the
-
other day on the measure of a man. You probably
-
need to read this because what Revelation chapter 13 is
Revelation 13 chapter mention
-
really referring to is that this angel Takes on the
-
same exact form. Of this beast from the earth. They
-
look identically the same. That's why they make an image.
-
To the beast. Because the beast from the sea. This angel.
-
Which can take on any form. He wants to. He
-
takes on the form. Of the man. Who has made
-
the covenant. With Satan. That's what it's saying. Here it
-
is saying. That when he is resurrected. When he does
-
rise from the earth. As Revelation chapter 13. Plainly says
Revelation 13 chapter mention
-
in Greek. He does. He rises from the earth. His
-
right eye. Will be blind. And his right arm will
-
be withered. Now it's easy to cover up. If you're
-
blind in your right eye. That's easy to do. We
-
have prosthetics that can make it look like nothing's wrong.
-
The right arm, however, they'll probably hide that in his garment.
-
But this is what it's meant. The image of the
-
beast is in their image because they look identical. And
-
their number is 650. Sixty and six. Not three sixes.
-
It's not 18. It's 666. So I hope you enjoyed
-
this live stream. I hope that it's preparing you. It's
-
edifying those of you that's been born again. You need
-
to start listening to the word. You need to reject
-
the traditions of men. Those of you that's been born again,
-
you need to prepare yourself. This is what the word
-
says they're going to do to you. This is your
-
clergy doing this. That's what this says. We're reading from
-
the Hebrew translation. We could quickly switch this over and
-
cover the Greek. I can do both. This phraseology here
-
in Hebrew is illicit. It's his shepherds doing this to you.
-
Everything that Jesus Christ said they were going to do
-
to you in the first 14 verses of Matthew chapter 24,
Matthew 24 chapter mention
-
they're going to do it in the great apostasy. So,
-
you're going through the birth pains. You need to get
-
prepared to do so. Those of you that have been
-
born again, if you have any encouraging words or prayers,
-
please put those in the comments. Please like and share
-
the video if it's edified you. And please subscribe to
-
the channel if it's edified you. If you want me
-
to cover topics in the future or any portions of
-
the word, put it in the comments, and I would
-
be more than happy to cover those topics.
