-
It's a privilege to be here once again.
-
We're spending time with old friends and making new friends.
-
Amen.
-
And it's just precious to be with you.
-
My favor my faith alive family.
-
Because I've got family here.
-
If you like it or not, you're family.
-
There's nothing to be done about it.
-
We're family.
-
Because we're children of the same father.
-
How many of you say amen?
-
Amen.
-
The Bible says where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
-
Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
-
I don't know how to do it.
-
I don't know what you're living in.
-
I don't know what you're living in.
-
But the Holy Spirit is here to love it.
-
And he's come to give the freedom.
-
The Holy Spirit is here.
-
And he moves.
-
He is moving.
-
To give us freedom.
-
This church.
-
And he moves in this place.
-
He's comfortable in this place.
-
How many of you say amen?
-
How many of you give freedom to the Spirit of God to do what he wants to do tonight?
-
How many of you can say Lord tonight?
-
Do with my life whatever you want to do.
-
Whatever you want to do.
-
Are you sure?
-
It's a privilege to be here.
-
It's such a blessing to have a pastor translating for me.
-
We've got some advantages here.
-
And if I say something up here that he doesn't agree with, he can fix it.
-
So it's good to be here with the pastor.
-
And I'm grateful to your pastor.
-
And they've just received us so well, we've been here.
-
And it's just amazing to see Pastor Brent.
-
A great friend.
-
Just warms my heart to see them to be.
-
Because I'm still here.
-
Gloria a Dios.
-
Glory to God.
-
Gloria Dios.
-
Glory to God.
-
Gloria.
-
Glory to God.
-
We give him all the honor.
-
The word of God said.
-
We read in Acts chapter 2.
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
It says that the Holy Spirit was poured out.
-
And they were all united in one accord.
-
And they were praying.
-
They were with expectation.
-
They were waiting that visitation.
-
They were awaiting that moment when the heavens would open.
-
They were waiting for a touch from heaven.
-
But he didn't just come to visit.
-
He came to live forever with them.
-
He didn't come to just visit.
-
To be with us forever.
-
He's here.
-
The word says.
-
And that spirit came.
-
The spirit came upon them.
-
And they saw tongues of fire.
-
And filled them all.
-
The Holy Spirit took control.
-
The Holy Spirit poured out.
-
The Spirit of God fell, the fire.
-
And God put everything in order.
-
He began ordering the thing.
-
Because when God comes and puts his order, He is there above it all.
-
The Spirit was there upon them.
-
They didn't have control.
-
Because it's his order.
-
It's not our order.
-
Sometimes we want to say, Come, Holy Spirit.
-
But we want to move him in our way.
-
That's not God's order.
-
He doesn't want us to have the control.
-
He wants to do it.
-
He wants to have control.
-
He wants to order this thing.
-
And that's why I said, Are you sure?
-
That you really want him to do what he wants to do.
-
Because when that happens, it's not always the way we want or we think.
-
And that's what we see, it doesn't always look good.
-
It didn't look good, and Peter had to stand up and explain what was going on.
-
Because when the Holy Spirit came, he tomorrow and he got control over that place.
-
And people looked and saw what was going on.
-
Peter said, Hey hermanos, oh brothers, don't piensen mal.
-
Don't think the wrong thing here.
-
These guys aren't drunk.
-
They're not drunk.
-
But what's happening is that the Spirit is let the Holy Spirit has got been fulfilled in our day.
-
And now He's laying hold his control.
-
Does He have control over lives?
-
Dile Señor, say Lord.
-
Vamos, vamos, Senhor.
-
Say Lord.
-
Vamos, dilo fuerte, Señor.
-
Say Lord, strong, Lord.
-
Toma el control.
-
Take control.
-
Take control.
-
Toma el control in the soul, sir.
-
Take control of my life.
-
I give you the liberty, I give you all the freedom.
-
In the name of Jesus.
-
Because when the Spirit comes and fails you, you cannot remain the same.
-
Your life changes.
-
Because He takes control.
-
He takes you places.
-
He does what He wants to do.
-
You no longer have control.
-
That's the best thing that can happen.
-
It's to be controlled by God.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
That place is unlugarous is a place.
-
This is a place where God feels comfortable.
-
Because there's freedom here.
-
Amen.
-
The word of God says it's there in Acts.
-
That they shared all things.
-
They had it all in common.
-
That they were united of one accord.
-
And God was adding daily to his church.
-
Those who were to be saved.
-
It wasn't some new evangelism method that added new people daily.
-
It wasn't somebody's charisma that was adding people daily.
-
But God saw that place.
-
Like this church.
-
And he sees faith alive.
-
And he says, You know what?
-
That's a good place.
-
People there, they rejoice, they're joyful in me.
-
And I'm looking around, I don't see any bitter faces.
-
It's a good place.
-
It's a good place.
-
The Spirit of God is in this place.
-
The joy of the Lord is in this spirit.
-
And there's people outside.
-
There are people who are without hope.
-
There's people who are bound.
-
There are people who are imprisoned.
-
There's people out there that have no life.
-
And the Lord says, I can bring them to this.
-
I will bring them to this place.
-
Because that is a place that has got a hold of me.
-
I'm going to bring my children to that place.
-
Because they will find joy there.
-
Look at somebody next to you.
-
When they see this face, can you see the joy of the Lord?
-
God wants to send his children here.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
Glory to God.
-
We're gonna continue.
-
But last night, remember we talked about fighting.
-
These are the actions that the church is involved in.
-
We fight.
-
Say it with me.
-
Fight.
-
Correr, run.
-
And guard.
-
Keep.
-
That's what church is about.
-
We fight.
-
This is what the church does.
-
We run.
-
And the church guards.
-
Paul said, I have fought the good fight.
-
I have run the race.
-
I have kept the faith.
-
But we aren't in Paul's place yet.
-
Because Paul was his life was about to end.
-
He would be sacrificed.
-
But we're here today.
-
And we're breathing.
-
And there's life ahead of us.
-
Because the purpose, the eternal, is not fulfilled in our life today.
-
So tell the person here if you're here.
-
If you're breathing today, can somebody say amen?
-
We're gonna fight.
-
In Exodulo numero 17.
-
If we turn to Exodus chapter 17, we find a story.
Exodus 17 chapter mention
-
It's the story of the children of Israel.
-
And they got to a place called we get it right.
-
Refidim.
-
That means a place of rest.
-
And God took them to a place of rest.
-
They were in that place.
-
But when they got there, they realized there was no water.
-
And because the people were rebellious, they begin to murmur against Moses.
-
And they were tempting God.
-
And as they were murmuring and as they were tempting God, where was Moses?
-
He was interceding for them.
-
Don't fight against God and the mercy of God.
-
God did a miracle.
-
And we see how water comes from a rock.
-
Now they've got water to drink.
-
We read in Paul's letters that that rock was Christ, and that water, that rock, followed them through the desert.
-
Even though they were rebelled.
-
God promised to be with them.
-
And God was with them.
-
So now they're okay.
-
They're in a place of rest.
-
But then all of a sudden, something comes their way.
-
And this is something that they're gonna have to deal with again and again.
-
The word of God said it says, then Amalek, I can't pronounce this in English.
-
Wow.
-
Came and fought with Israel at Refidim.
-
Amalek vino apelliar contra ellos.
-
Amalek came in a lug in that place of rest.
-
They were resting, they were taking their eats.
-
When the enemy came, Amalek significa maldad.
-
And that name, Amalek, help me, people.
-
Amalek.
-
Amalek significa todo tipo de maldad.
-
That name, Amalek, it means evil.
-
I can't do it, people.
-
It's gonna be Spanish all night, okay?
-
You know, when you think you can put up your feet and rest, that evil rises up against you.
-
That enemy represents all that which wants to destroy you.
-
Everything that wants to destroy your house.
-
Everything that wants to destroy your family.
-
And that's why we are in a constant battle.
-
We can't just put our heels up and forget.
-
We can't stop praying.
-
We can't stop coming, gathering as a church.
-
You can't just put up your heels and forget about it.
-
Because Amalek's gonna come.
-
And it doesn't just mean evil.
-
He's the one who comes and attacks you in your blind spot.
-
He is looking at looking for a weakness.
-
He's looking for an opening in your defenses.
-
But the Bible says that even though the enemy comes in like a flood, will raise the banner over you.
-
So the enemy can come in.
-
But the church that is filled with the spirit of God will rise up with the banner of the Lord.
-
But Moses, the man of God.
-
And you know his name means a rescued one.
-
Because when he was a child, he was rescued out of the water.
-
That's the first time God rescued Moses through Pharaoh's daughter.
-
And then we know the story.
-
Moses grew up in that house.
-
And we know that Moses.
-
He was also a murderer.
-
And then he ran off.
-
And we know that he was already growing old in the desert.
-
And it could look like the purpose of God in his life was lost.
-
He was out there looking after his father and God.
-
But then it's not the daughter of Pharaoh that comes to rescue you.
-
He goes and he sees a burning bush.
-
When his life didn't have a purpose.
-
When he thought everything was that was it.
-
That's all that was there for him.
-
He saw the burning, the flames in that bush.
-
And he said, I gotta see what's going on.
-
He was wondering, how can it burn?
-
But it's not, it's not being burned.
-
And so he went closer.
-
God spoke to him out of the bush.
-
He said, Don't go any farther.
-
Don't come any closer.
-
Take the shoes, the sandals from the lug is holy.
-
First we see it's the daughter of Pharaoh that rescues him.
-
And the one who has rescued you from whatever you are going to do.
-
The one who pulled you out of hope.
-
When there's a purpose on your life, he will raise you up.
-
And Moses was rescued.
-
And then he goes to this place of rest.
-
And he says to Joshua.
-
And his name means the Lord saves.
-
It's good to know what your name means.
-
What's your name mean?
-
Robert Matthew.
-
My name is Robert Matthew.
-
Robert is brilliant and Matthew is regalo de Dios.
-
So Robert is right, and Matthew is a gift of God.
-
So I'm a shining gift from God.
-
So you can't get too happy that's not your name.
-
But Joshua meant the Lord saves.
-
But he had a different name before.
-
He had a name that meant salvation, and then Moses said, I'm going to give you a new name.
-
He gave him the name Joshua, the Lord, Saved.
-
And it's interesting.
-
Because salvation's a good thing.
-
You can get a long way there.
-
But it's different when you do things holding on to God's hand.
-
Because the enemy had come against them.
-
And Moses says to Joshua, go find men of war.
-
I don't know how many men are in this house tonight.
-
Oh, I thought there was at least one.
-
Come on, guys.
-
I don't know how many men are here tonight.
-
If you're a man, say amen.
-
But say it like a man.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
He said, go for.
-
And get out there and fight.
-
Go to fight against him.
-
Go.
-
Because God has required you.
-
God has not called you to flee.
-
He says, Go, fight.
-
Moses says, I'm going to go up on the hill.
-
And this staff in the name of the Lord.
-
I will hold the staff of the Lord.
-
And we see something interesting.
-
Something powerful.
-
You should go to the enemy.
-
You should take the enemy to the place of your strength.
-
So Moses says, Joshua, you go baron.
-
Find men of war.
-
Go out with sword.
-
Fight against the Amalek.
-
I'm going to go up on that hill.
-
I will take the staff of the Lord in my hand.
-
He was there fighting.
-
He took the battle to the place where we're truly strong.
-
Because you're fighting.
-
You want to see change in your change.
-
You want to see your marriage change.
-
You want to see change.
-
But you keep fighting in the natural.
-
And you will grow tired.
-
And you're just going to camp.
-
And nothing's going to change.
-
But he said, I will go up.
-
Because it's not that the battle is the one on that field.
-
You gotta go up.
-
You gotta go higher.
-
How many of you remember how Jesus walked on the water?
-
The word of God said in Matthew chapter 14, 22.
Matthew 14 chapter mention
-
He sent his disciples.
-
And he was there saying goodbye to all the crowd that had gathered.
-
And after the crowd had gone away, it says he went up onto a hill, to the mountain, to pray.
-
He did supernatural things because he's Jesus.
-
But before he walked on the water, the son of God went up onto the mountain to pray.
-
When people stop seeking the Lord, I ask them.
-
I don't feel like I'm asking, I feel like God's asking.
-
I asked them, are you better than Jesus?
-
Because you don't pray.
-
So are you better at this than Jesus?
-
Because he was the Messias.
-
He was the Christ.
-
God was with him.
-
And we know that he was God in the flesh.
-
But Jesus prayed.
-
Yes, he did military.
-
Yes, he raised the dead.
-
Yes, he claimed the death.
-
He went and prayed first.
-
There's a place.
-
There's a place where we need to go fight our battle.
-
There's a place where we can win every battle.
-
And then he says, Go fight.
-
Go fight.
-
Jews, men of war, go fight.
-
But I'm going up to Jehovah.
-
The staff of the Lord will be in my hand.
-
We see this picture.
-
It's this amazing picture.
-
Where we can understand where our strength really comes.
-
Because maybe you've had a battle that's ongoing for you.
-
You're tired.
-
It's just like a vision.
-
Come around and around these things that you just never seem to be able to break off.
-
Because you're fighting on the enemy's terms in his apostle Paulo dice.
-
Paul says, We do not fight.
-
We don't fight.
-
Against flesh and blood.
-
Why?
-
Because we are strong in the spirit.
-
And he said, I'm gonna go up.
-
And the staff of the Lord will be in my hand.
-
Prayer, we see truly powerful.
-
I came to faith alive 20 years ago.
-
You were in that old building.
-
And it was an area, you could say it was kind of a gray area or surrounding the church.
-
It was like a heaviness that was around the church.
-
And when I was there, there was even a witch that came to me.
-
And you were fighting spiritual battles in that place.
-
But that place was transformed.
-
Even though you're not there, that place was transformed.
-
Because the light shines and the darkness cannot stand.
-
Are you with me or not?
-
And we see there.
-
Moses says to Joshua, go find.
-
You know, sending them out.
-
Go fight the battle.
-
But I'm going to be here in the house interceding.
-
I'm going to be in there.
-
I'm going to battle.
-
I'm going to be praying.
-
No, no, no, no, no.
-
We can't come down to the enemy's level to fight.
-
We need to go to a place where our strength is.
-
Because there's a place where you're stronger than the enemy.
-
Where you can find healing for all sickness and disease.
-
There's a place that you need to go to fight your battles.
-
We must go up higher.
-
And we know the story.
-
Moses raised the staff on high.
-
He was had his hands up high.
-
And Joshua went out and he fought.
-
He was pushing back the amount of the house.
-
He was fighting.
-
Winning the battle.
-
He was fighting against the evil one.
-
But we know the story.
-
Moses' hands got tired.
-
Even Moses got tired.
-
Even Moses needed help from other people.
-
They're like, no, I'm good.
-
I got this.
-
I can do it on my own.
-
I don't need church.
-
No, no.
-
That is not God's way.
-
He said, upon this rock.
-
I will build my church.
-
He doesn't build individual people.
-
He builds the church.
-
Oh, you should be happy to have somebody sitting next to you.
-
We are not alone.
-
Come on.
-
Because Moses got tired.
-
But we see her.
-
And there was Aaron.
-
Ur there was her.
-
Ur quiere decir pureza.
-
Her means purity.
-
Means holiness.
-
And Aaron means worship.
-
Quiere decir luz.
-
Means lights.
-
So on one side, Moses.
-
They put a rock there for it.
-
So that he could sit.
-
And in our life, is built in the rock on the rock that is Christ.
-
And then we have Hur on one side.
-
And they're holding up the manu de Moisés.
-
And it was up and no longer failed.
-
And then we see Joshua went out and completely defeated the Amalekites.
-
What do we need to defeat the enemy in our life?
-
What do we need to come against the enemy of our life and our family?
-
We need to grab hold of holiness.
-
We need to grab hold of that purity.
-
A church that is upon the rock.
-
And worship will not be defeated.
-
He's the one who gives us the victory.
-
In every area of your life.
-
Joshua prevailed.
-
Because there was intercession, a covering.
-
The battle was being won.
-
Through holiness and worship.
-
Just like as we worship tonight at this time.
-
The worship in this place.
-
When you worship, you stand saltando.
-
As we see, we're rejoicing.
-
And the presence of God is moving in this place.
-
You're winning.
-
You're advancing.
-
You're advancing.
-
But there's another powerful weapon.
-
It's holiness.
-
Holiness.
-
The Bible says without holiness, no one will see.
-
How many of you want to see God?
-
Come on, I'd be like, I want to see God.
-
I'm going to ask you again, do you want to see God?
-
Okay, dale unaplause, Señor.
-
Come on, give a round of applause, Lord.
-
God has called you to fight.
-
The church was designed so much.
-
Must be.
-
But the difference is that we go out to the battle.
-
We go out in the victory of Christ.
-
We take the victory of Christ.
-
Because the enemy has no recourse against the victory of the Christ.
-
He can do nothing.
-
You are called to fight.
-
You will win your family fighting the spirituality.
-
You will get healing.
-
You will see restoration by fighting the spiritual battle.
-
There is, I have fought.
-
The good fight.
-
You have to fight.
-
Every day.
-
Don't forget your relationship with God.
-
Because holiness.
-
It's not just a gift.
-
Holiness is something you go after every day.
-
You can't just rely on the holiness of yesterday.
-
Jesus was in Gethsemane, by the way.
-
And we know he was praying in such a way there was just great drops of sweat.
-
He was speaking with his father.
-
Everything is possible, Lord, for you.
-
But may it be your will.
-
And not my will.
-
He submitted himself to the will of the Father.
-
He left three of his disciples praying for him.
-
But when he went back, and he saw them, they were asleep.
-
And he said to them, pray, and remain vigilant.
-
So that you don't fall into temptation.
-
Talking about holiness.
-
Because the enemy comes looking for us.
-
You go looking for holiness.
-
Because we know the enemy comes looking for us.
-
But he has nothing of his in me.
-
There's nothing that he can find in me that's his.
-
And some of you were here then.
-
And you're still here.
-
We're not as young as we were.
-
But we're running with patience.
-
We're not just on a sprint, emotions getting far fast.
-
Because we're running a long distance race.
-
We're running with patience.
-
That race that has been set before us.
-
And it says that we must rid ourselves of all the weights and of the sin that so easily ensnares us.
-
Are you with me or not?
-
You run para ganar.
-
To win.
-
You gotta run to win.
-
You can't live on the on the race that you won years ago.
-
I think baseball, it's like this is over when it's over.
-
We can see the ninth inning.
-
And we can see the Yankees, they're winning against Boston.
-
Okay, and we see the curse of Bombino, I don't know.
-
And we thought, all us Yankee fans, we've already won.
-
And we were happy.
-
But that day, that game wasn't over.
-
And a lot of weird stuff happened.
-
And Boston came back.
-
And they broke that curse of Bombino.
-
We can't just trust that it's all gonna work out.
-
When it's over.
-
You've got to run the primer and you've gotta live it like the rest of the day of the rest of your life.
-
Paul says, one thing I do.
-
Forget what is possible.
-
Forget what is moved.
-
Keep going.
-
Mayonna tomorrow should be better than yesterday.
-
Every day.
-
That's our challenge.
-
That's your challenge.
-
You can't just sit on your laurels.
-
You've got to fight.
-
You've got to fight.
-
Grab hold of holding.
-
Grab hold of horror without any weight on you.
-
Okay, no buena pregunta but uh big mic.
-
And I got a question for Big Mike over here.
-
Adam and I are gonna have a race, okay?
-
Tell me what you think.
-
Tell me what you think.
-
Probably about forty pounds.
-
We're gonna run hundred meters.
-
He's gonna carry my We need to run with no way.
-
We need to take all the way.
-
You've got to break open your heart to the Lord.
-
And then there's a closer I understood something.
-
I can't hide anything from God.
-
Even when I want to.
-
He already knows.
-
He knows more about it than I know.
-
And the Holy Spirit's there.
-
And he wants me to run to win.
-
He knows what I do in the most secret secret place.
-
He knows what I see.
-
He knows what I speak.
-
He knows what I listen to.
-
The blood of a champion.
-
You have been designed to win.
-
But the enemy works hard to get you to think the exact opposite.
-
We must be vulnerable in his presence.
-
We need to hand him our weight.
-
We need to give him our burden.
-
And we need to, when we leave this place today, we need to leave understanding that we're winners.
-
That the enemy has no hold on us.
-
There is power in the blood of God.
-
And when we repent before the Lord, He cleanses us.
-
The Bible says this is the covenant that I will make with them.
-
I will forgive their sins.
-
And never again will I remember those sins.
-
The enemy comes to point out every wrong.
-
And maybe even people will come and accuse you.
-
But the Lord has forgotten.
-
How many of you are thankful for us?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Run to win.
-
And live by faith every day.
-
If there's a project ahead of you, then God will give you the life to do.
-
Now ever since then, there's a brother who always invites me.
-
And he's always a year out making plans, and he says, I want you to come next year.
-
And I always say, okay, I'll be there, I'll put it on the count.
-
And then I say, Okay, Lord, now I can't get saved.
-
Because you gotta give me another year.
-
Because I got plans.
-
We gotta moving forward in God.
-
A purpose.
-
Then we'll have the life to run, to live it out.
-
Amen.
-
Come on, let's give a round of applause to the Lord tonight.
-
Let's stand up.
-
And you can come up.
-
Recuerda que soy entrenador.
-
You remember that I'm a coach, right?
-
I'm just gonna get you warmed up a little physically.
-
First raise your hands to heaven.
-
And just go up on your toes.
-
Like you want to reach heaven.
-
Now we're gonna do this, we're gonna say we're working on our way.
-
Some of you can't find it, but it's there.
-
Now we've got a final challenge.
-
And apparently I'm gonna give a prize to the winner.
-
Go and touch the toes.
-
Not happening, okay.
-
How many of you can actually touch your toes?
-
Come on, give a round of applause.
-
I didn't do it.
-
Because I don't want to be proud here.
-
Put his manos in the corazon.
-
Put your hand on your heart.
-
Put your hands on your heart.
-
We're gonna come to the Lord Spiritual.
-
We're gonna take our battle somos fuertes to the spiritual place where we are where we are in a position to win.
-
Like Moses.
-
Like Jesus se preparó para lo sobrenatural.
-
As Jesus prepared for the supernatural.
-
We're gonna take the battle al campo spiritual to the spiritual realm.
-
But before we do that, we're gonna remove de todo peso, all the weight, de todo pecado, all the sin.
