Dispensational or Covenant Theology?

Evening it's good to be with you got a very
-
good question to tackle today what does the word say
-
about dispensational theology or covenant theology which one is it
-
this is probably the most important question anyone that can
-
ask themselves if they've been born again and they are
-
stuck in the church system. So, God bless everybody. Matthew
-
Miller here from Maranatha Ministries. Thank you for joining me
-
for my live stream. A very important question here. What
-
does the Word say? Now remember, at Maranatha Ministries, we're
-
not going to give you opinions. I'm going to tell
-
you what the Word says. This is the only reason
-
why your fellow congregants that have not been born again,
-
are going to make martyrs out of you come the
-
great apostasy. And that's really what Maranatha Ministries is all about.
-
We are preparing those who have been baptized in the
-
Holy Spirit for the great apostasy because it is coming.
-
So take note. Are there dispensations in the Bible? Is
-
that how God deals with his people? No. That's a
-
theological myth. Dispensationalism was invented in the 1830s. This is
-
a historical fact. That's why it's not in the Bible.
-
It's not in the Word. It's not there. So, if
-
you're locked into the church system, your clergy, if you're
-
not a part of a dispensational congregation, you will inevitably
-
be on the other side of the aisle. Because basically
-
there's only two types of false eschatology that is driven today.
-
It is either dispensationalism, and the other side of the
-
aisle is preterism. Both are theological myths. They're myths. They
-
have no basis in the Word. So that's really what
-
we're talking about today. What does the Word say? So, yes,
-
covenant theology is what the Word says But in the
-
singular sense, just the singular sense, Jesus Christ told you
-
there's only one covenant. There was the covenant made at
-
Sinai through the giving of the Ten Commandments. And there
-
is the covenant of His blood. That's it. We'll cover
-
those verses here in just a moment. So, I am
-
not at all saying, Those who are not dispensationalists, that
-
is to say Orthodox, Catholics, any of those, oh, I'm
-
not saying they're correct at all because, well, they lie.
-
What they say is that there are three different dispensations.
-
That's what they say. They say there was a dispensation
-
of works. There was a dispensation of grace. and a
-
dispensation of redemption. No, that's not what God says. In
-
the Word, God says there's only one covenant at a time.
-
The Mosaic covenant was terminated at Calvary. It was terminated
-
at the cross. So, herein, we can just get this
-
from Hebrews... chapter 8, verse 7. For if that first
-
covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been
-
sought for a second. That's it. One-two covenant. The Mosaic
-
covenant and Christ's covenant. That's it. So, Why these elaborate systems?
-
They're designed to confuse you. They are designed to keep
-
chasing your tail if you're going to partake of the Word.
-
Because you will continually, when you're reading the Word, when
-
you're listening to the Word on audio, you will continually
-
listen for this, well, where's this covenant of works? And
-
I mean, I understand the covenant of grace, but where's
-
the covenant of redemption? It'll keep you chasing your towel.
-
So both are wrong. It's not covenants. It's covenant one.
-
That's what the word says. So when you know that,
-
I mean, I could just literally give you verses after
-
verses after verses after verses after verses. Well, let's just
-
do this. Let's just read those three verses. Hebrews 8,
-
verses 7, 8, 9. Let's just read them consecutively. You
-
can't be confused when you do this. The Word is clear.
-
It doesn't confuse you. God didn't write the Word to
-
confuse you. He gave you the Bible to tell you
-
how it is. That's why your clergy, whether they're dispensationalists,
-
Or the other side of the aisle, they preach covenants, plural, no, covenant.
-
This will categorically explain it to you. So Hebrews chapter 8,
-
verses 7 through 9. For if that first covenant had
-
been faultless, then there would be no place have been
-
sought for the second. Because finding fault with them, God says, behold,
-
the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will
-
make a new covenant with the house of Israel, And
-
with the house of Judah. This is coming from Jeremiah.
-
We'll talk about that in a minute. Let me finish
-
the diatribe. Verse 9. Not according to the covenant. Singular.
-
Here we go again. It's only singular. There exists only
-
one covenant at a time. Okay. That I made with
-
their fathers in the day that I took them by
-
the hand and led them out of the land of Egypt.
-
Because they did not continue in my covenant. And I
-
disregarded them, says the Lord. One covenant. Just one. Only
-
one covenant exists at a time. Now, it is paramount
-
that we see this, what this is actually talking about.
-
This is coming from, of course, Jeremiah chapter 31. This
Jeremiah 31 chapter mention
-
details for you the new covenant that is going to
-
come through the Lord Jesus Christ, which is pretty easy
-
to remember. It's Jeremiah 31, 31. I quote, Behold, the
-
days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make
-
a new covenant with the house of Israel and with
-
the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that
-
I made with their fathers in the day that I
-
took them by the hand to lead them out of
-
the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though
-
I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But
-
this is the covenant I will make with them, with
-
the house of Israel, after those days, says the Lord.
-
I will put my law into their minds, and write
-
it on their hearts, and I will be their God,
-
and they will be, and they shall be my people.
-
When is this happening? It happens once you've been born again.
-
Once you've been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Let's keep reading.
-
Verse 34. No more shall every man teach his neighbor.
-
And every man his brother. Saying know the Lord. For
-
they all shall know me. From the least of them
-
to the greatest of them. Says the Lord. For I
-
will forgive their iniquity. And their sin I will remember.
-
No more. So. Let's talk about how you get into
-
the New Covenant. This is straight from the Word Himself. Remember,
-
God the Son's alternate name is the Word of God. So,
-
everybody knows this and it amazes me how they take
-
the word communion and Even changed the name for communion.
-
It just blows my mind. But anyway, here in Matthew
-
chapter 26, verses 26 through 29. Now, before we read this,
-
know and understand this. This is why the dispensationalists come
-
up with this cunningly devised faith. Because they want the
-
Judaist to be automatically saved. They want the Judaist that
-
funds them to be able to do an in-round around
-
the crucifixion of Jesus Christ the Lord. This is straight
-
from Jesus Christ's mouth. And as they were eating, Jesus
-
took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to
-
his disciples and said, take, eat, this is my body.
-
Then he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it
-
to them, saying, Drink from it, all of you, for
-
this is the blood of the new covenant. In Greek,
-
this is exacting. It's singular. It's not plural. There's no
-
such thing as covenants. There was an old covenant, and
-
he just trumped it and instituted a new covenant through
-
his blood. So, for this is my blood of the
-
new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission
-
of sins. There is no end run around the blood
-
of Christ. Verse 29, But I say to you, I
-
will not drink of the fruit of the vine from
-
now on until the day when I drink it anew
-
with you in my Father's kingdom. Forever and always, amen.
-
The dispensationalists want the Judaists to actually live and reject
-
the blood of the covenant until Christ returns, and then
-
they say they will all automatically be saved. That's heresy.
-
There is no end run around the blood of Jesus Christ.
-
The book of Zechariah proves this, because the word plainly
-
says that all the nations will mourn when they see him.
-
That's what Zechariah says. Even if you're of the lineage
-
of David, if you've not accepted the blood of Jesus
-
Christ's covenant, you're going to mourn with the rest of
-
the world. That's exactly what it says. Look it up.
-
It says even the seed of David himself will mourn
-
when they see the Lord Jesus Christ coming. Because at
-
that point, it's too late. Once he exits heaven in
-
his divine procession to set up his kingdom on earth,
-
It's too late. Once you see him, it's too late.
-
You had that chance. Zechariah plainly states that all of
-
the physical seed of Abraham will mourn when they see
-
him come. Now, what is so important about this new covenant?
-
We all know there's two ways to be baptized. The
-
first is with water. That doesn't cut it. You must
-
be born again. So take note. When you enter the
-
body of Christ. Symbolically here. This is like taking the bread.
-
That's not enough. In the bread. Is not the life
-
of the covenant. He plainly said. Now. Take from the cup.
-
Drink from it all of you. For this is the blood.
-
This is my blood. Of the new covenant. So. Once
-
you've entered into the body of Christ. Through. Through the covenant.
-
There comes a time. That you have to. Stop sinning voluntarily.
-
You have to do that. But you need to know.
-
The book of Hebrews. Chapter 10 verses 26 through 29.
-
Illicitly says. that there's a grace period right there. If
-
you get water baptized, and you keep on willfully sinning,
-
and you don't correct your course, no matter how long
-
that struggle may take, now take note. This is common knowledge.
-
Any sin, any addiction can be overcome. Ask any ex-heroin addict.
-
There's millions of them. Ask any ex-alcoholic. There's millions of them.
-
And on and on and on and on and on
-
and on it goes. Any physical and psychological addiction can
-
be broken through the power of the Holy Spirit. If
-
you willfully continue sinning after a period of time, you
-
no longer can be baptized in the Holy Spirit because
-
you have insulted the Holy Spirit. Let's read from the Word.
-
Doesn't matter what your clergy says, this is true. Hebrews
-
chapter 10, verses 26 through 29. For if we sin
-
willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth,
-
there no longer remains a sacrifice for sin. But a
-
certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which will
-
devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies
-
without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
-
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will be
-
thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot,
-
counted the blood of the covenant by which they were sanctified,
-
a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of Grace? Take
-
note here, he made references to both covenants. He made
-
reference to both covenants. The first covenant, the covenant of
-
the Mosaic law, you died on the testimony of two
-
or three witnesses. That was the first covenant. That first
-
covenant was replaced by the second covenant. And he says,
-
after you've entered the body of Christ through that water baptism,
-
this is how you get the knowledge of Knowledge comes
-
from the water baptism. You've entered into a church body.
-
If you continue to sin willfully after a period of time,
-
you would have insulted the spirit of grace. And at
-
that point, those of you that's been born again, it's
-
these jokers that's going to instigate the great apostasy. And
-
they'll make martyrs of you. And you all need to
-
know that. Those of you who do fall into this category.
-
You did receive the knowledge of truth. You rejected it.
-
And insulted the spirit of grace. After however long it took.
-
You're going to make martyrs of us. That's what's going
-
to happen. Thus saith the word. Thus saith the word.
-
Thus saith the word. So. There aren't covenants. There's only
-
one at any one given time. That is plainly laid
-
out in the Word. Everything else coming out of your
-
pulpit is just theological myths intended to keep you confused
-
whenever you partake of the Word, whether when you read
-
it or when you listen to it. It's meant to
-
confuse you. That's what your clergy has done. So, it
-
doesn't matter if you're dispensationalist or preterist. You're caught in
-
this ever unending circle of what you're being taught not
-
lining up with the Word. And remember, Revelation chapter 6,
-
verse 9. When the great apostasy comes, they'll make a
-
martyr out of you for just one reason. The Catholics
-
won't be killing the Baptists. No, no, no. The Catholics...
-
will be killing the Catholics that are born again. The
-
Baptists will be killing the other Baptists that have been
-
born again. Because we will call them out. Revelation chapter 22,
-
verses 18 and 19 are very clear. We will call
-
them out for straying from the Word. So, dispensational theology? No.
-
Covenant theology? Absolutely not. There's not three covenants. There's one covenant,
-
and it was replaced by the new covenant of his blood.
-
That's what the word says. I categorically read to you
-
those verses. You see, what's confusing you is your clergy.
-
What's confusing you is your denomination. It's not the word.
-
I strongly implore you to get yourself a New King
-
James Version. There's a reason why I'm saying that. I'm
-
qualified to say that. Get yourself a New King James Version.
-
Read that and study the word. The word is in
-
Hebrew and Greek. You can do this with plethora of
-
online resources like logos like blue letter Bible like a bohu.cz
-
tons tons of researches the Bible hub that's another one
-
I've used in past times you need to be able
-
to get to the Word. The Word is in Hebrew
-
and Greek. And when you do that, when you hearken
-
to the Word, all these theological myths, the Word trumps. So,
-
I'm here to tell you If you're confused, it's because
-
you're listening to something other than the Word of God. So,
-
with that being said, if you have been born again,
-
if you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit and
-
have not insulted the Spirit of Grace, if you have
-
any encouraging words or prayers, please put them in the comments.
