  1. Man the title my sermon this evening is second wave feminism

  2. I preached a couple weeks ago on the first wave of feminism and the reason that I'm preaching on this is because

  3. unfortunately over time

  4. Satan will just kind of move the goalpost and so you have Christians that think that they're conservative

  5. They think they're fundamentalists. They think that they're old-fashioned. They think they're just based on the Bible

  6. And they have just accepted these very modern

  7. unbiblical

  8. Feminist ideas just because they're so prevalent and so popular in our society that they're just taken for granted

  9. Whereas the Bible doesn't change and so it doesn't matter what year it is

  10. It doesn't matter how many centuries go by the Bible keeps on saying the same thing and as society drifts further and further from the

  11. Biblical standard you end up having people think that you're crazy

  12. When you get up and just preach what the Bible says preach what everybody used to believe

  13. Okay, now we talked about the first wave of feminism and it went from

  14. 1848 to

  15. 1920 and I'm not going to repreach that sermon but it had to do with women getting the right to vote and

  16. sort of retaining their

  17. Autonomy and independence after they got married because you know before that legally the husband's the boss

  18. Well, I got news for you

  19. That's what the Bible says the Bible says the husband is the head of the wife

  20. Even as Christ is the head of the church and as the savior of the body

  21. Therefore as the church is subject to Christ

  22. You know so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything and so because our society is based on

  23. Christian morality

  24. Legally, that's the way it was is that the husband is considered the boss the head of the household

  25. so the first wave of feminism had to do with basically getting rid of that and

  26. Getting it to where women can vote and women have their own autonomy and their own independence after they're married

  27. They have the right to divorce their husbands and you know get high-level jobs

  28. And those are the things that they were pushing for and this culminated in 1920 with the passing of what is it?

  29. The 19th amendment where they received the right to vote and as I said before

  30. You know your independent fundamentalist Baptist and evangelical Christians pretty much accept like

  31. 80-90% of the first wave of feminism as evidenced by the fact that in their church business meetings

  32. They have women voting and often making key decisions about running the church

  33. Which makes absolutely no sense based on what the Bible says. I don't want to repreach that sermon

  34. But tonight we're gonna get into the second wave of feminism

  35. Which again, I would say 80 to 90 percent of it is embraced totally by your old-fashioned independent fundamental Baptist

  36. Not here because we don't care because we're gonna go by what the Bible says and nuts to them and send me all the

  37. voicemails you want haters because I give voicemails every single day in fact for the last few weeks

  38. I've gotten a voicemail every single day of someone saying I'm calling the police because of what I heard you preach

  39. And I'm thinking to myself. That's not how America works

  40. You can't just hear a sermon and you're preaching that you don't like and call the police

  41. And I'm sure they are calling the police, but apparently the police have put this on the back burner

  42. Okay, because of the fact that we have the first amendment. I can say whatever I want

  43. I can preach the Bible and I'm not even saying anything that all of America wouldn't have agreed with

  44. 100 years ago anyway

  45. So the second wave of feminism is typically classified from like

  46. 1960 to the early

  47. 1980s, so that's the period of the second wave feminism and it dealt with

  48. different struggles than the first wave of feminism and

  49. The first thing that was a huge part of second wave feminism was the idea of birth control

  50. Okay, now again, this is something that people just take for granted in

  51. 2026 America like well, of course, you're gonna be on birth control

  52. Of course churches and Christians and we're all gonna promote birth control, right?

  53. I mean come on and yet that is not the way it was in America

  54. A lot of people don't realize that birth control was literally illegal

  55. all of the devices and implements even

  56. Information about it was illegal to send in the mail because it was put in the same category as like mailing pornography

  57. Because it was considered obscene material. Okay, but anyway, let's see what the Bible says about this

  58. What does the Bible teach about this subject of birth control? Well, you're there in Genesis chapter?

  59. 38 if you would flip back to Genesis chapter number three and look don't get offended at the sermon tonight because you should go into this with

  60. An open mind for what the Bible says

  61. Right and ask God to show you from the scriptures what the truth is because the Bible says if any of you lacks wisdom

  62. Let him ask of God they give it to all men

  63. Liberally and it's not and it shall be given him God wants us to understand the truth

  64. He wants us to understand the Bible

  65. Open now mine eyes that I may behold

  66. Wondrous things out of thy law is the prayer of the psalmist so look at Genesis chapter 3

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  67. Of course, there's a famous verse in Genesis 128 where God blessed them and said be fruitful and multiply and

  68. Replenish the earth now. Why does it say replenish the earth?

  69. They're the first man and woman

  70. So how are they replenishing because when we think of replenish we're thinking of like a refill, right?

  71. So the idea here though is that the reason why it says replenish is because this is a continual process

  72. So he's saying be fruitful multiply and replenish the earth because human beings are going to live and they're going to die

  73. And they have to be replaced and so there's a replenishment that is constantly going on

  74. Where one generation passes away and another generation come at this the Bible says

  75. So he says to them in Genesis one be fruitful multiply look at Genesis 3 16

  76. This is after the scene in the Garden of Eden

  77. Where the woman has eaten the forbidden fruit and then she gave it to her husband and then he ate the forbidden fruit and they've sinned and

  78. Ruined everything and so God is explaining the the consequences of the sin and it says in verse 16 under the woman

  79. He said I will greatly

  80. multiply thy sorrow and

  81. Thy conception now look here's the truth is that life is not a bed of roses

  82. Life is not easy for either the man or the woman because he talks to the man

  83. And he says man you're gonna work by the sweat of your face all the days of your life

  84. And you're gonna go back into the ground that you came from and so the man in this world has to work hard

  85. You know I guarantee you that there are times that you men don't want to go to work

  86. You don't necessarily love your job every single day sometimes it's a drag

  87. But you go out there and you push through you grind it out

  88. You work hard so that you can put food on the table for your family

  89. And you work by the sweat of your face all the days of your life as the Bible says well

  90. He says to the woman I will multiply your sorrow and your conception now

  91. What does conception mean conception is when a woman becomes?

  92. Pregnant so he's saying you are going to become pregnant

  93. More often than you would have become pregnant without this being in place

  94. He says I'm going to multiply right if you multiply the number two. Oh now we have four. Hey, let's multiply two now

  95. We have 12. Okay. He's saying your conception is at a certain rate

  96. biologically I'm going to multiply

  97. your sorrow and your conception in

  98. Sorrow thou shalt bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee

  99. Look, this is the Bible. This is Genesis chapter 3. This is basic stuff

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  100. This is like Bible 101 one of the most rudimentary chapters of the Bible laying down some basic foundations

  101. And the Bible saying look this is life

  102. Men have to work hard to put food on the table, and you know what women have to do women have to bear children

  103. And it's not always fun. It's painful giving birth is painful raising children

  104. It's hard work

  105. You're up in the middle of the night and you're dealing with all kinds of the things that go along with child-rearing now

  106. Our society just looks at this and just says well child-rearing is hard, so I'm just not going to do it

  107. You know, I'm just gonna just use birth control and just skip this

  108. But apparently this is something that God has prescribed for men and women and really the same attitude would be like

  109. Well, I don't want to work. I'm a man, but I just don't want to get a job. I don't want to do any productive work

  110. Why do we have to work anyway? Can't the government just give me a basic income to just stay home and sit on my

  111. But you know, it's kind of the same mentality of a woman just saying well, I'm just not gonna reproduce

  112. I'm just not gonna have children. But this is what God has prescribed for mankind. He says man, you're gonna work

  113. Woman, you're gonna bear children and is it gonna be few? Well, he says I'm gonna multiply it

  114. I'm gonna multiply your conception. Now look obviously God gives different numbers of children to different people

  115. Not everyone is gonna have a whole bunch of kids because some women

  116. They're just gonna have one kid or two kids and it's not because they're using birth control

  117. It's just because they're just not that fertile or their husband is just not that fertile or whatever

  118. And so it's not necessarily a bad thing if you only have one child or two

  119. If that's what God gave you

  120. Because for example, we see great men and women of God in the Bible who had very few children

  121. Because a lot of times in Genesis women are just not getting pregnant and they're praying and they're begging God to give them a

  122. Child and you see women like Rebecca and you see women like Rachel and they're struggling to get pregnant

  123. Obviously, Sarah is the big one famous one and then later in the Bible

  124. You have that same theme in the book of Samuel with Hannah really wanting to have a child

  125. She's praying and begging God and so these women, you know, Rebecca ends up having two kids

  126. You know, Sarah ends up having one kid, right? Rachel ends up having two kids

  127. They're not necessarily having a ton of kids other people in the Bible are having 10 15 20 kids

  128. It's just it's whatever God gives you because here's the thing God is the one who opens and closes the womb

  129. according to scripture so

  130. we have Genesis 3 16 and

  131. Right away that desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee

  132. Well, that flies in the face of first wave feminism as well, doesn't it?

  133. But as we go through Genesis, we're going to see this over and over again go to Genesis chapter

    Genesis 35 chapter mention

  134. 35 if you would and while you're turning there

  135. Genesis 9 verse 1

    Genesis 9:1

  136. God tells Noah be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth in Genesis 24 60

  137. It says they blessed Rebecca and said and her thou art our sister be thou the mother of

  138. Thousands of millions now thousands of millions is the largest number in the Bible and they call them billions actually

  139. thousands of millions so two billion

  140. So when they're blessing her they're saying be thou the mother of thousands of millions two billion. That's incredible

  141. imagine writing that in a

  142. You know baby shower gift card or something like that right at the maternity shower, but Genesis 35 verse 11

    Genesis 35:11

  143. God said unto him speaking to Jacob. I am God Almighty

  144. be fruitful and

  145. Multiply a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee and kings shall come out of thine ones

  146. So it's not just Adam who's told to be fruitful multiply. It's not just Noah. It's also Jacob

  147. It's God's people in general look if you would at Exodus chapter number one and

  148. In Exodus chapter number one if you remember the children of Israel have gone down into Egypt

  149. And they went there because there was a famine in the land of Canaan and when they went down there

  150. They went down there as 70 people 70 souls went down there. Well over time those 70 people end up just multiplying

  151. tremendously

  152. To the point where this is what the Egyptians are saying about them in Exodus chapter 1 verse 9

    Exodus 1:9

  153. He said unto his people behold the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we

  154. Now this is the most powerful nation on the earth at that time the Egyptians and the Egyptians have the Israelites dwelling among them

  155. Started out as a really small crew, but they're just multiplying like crazy

  156. Number one because God told them to be fruitful and multiply number two

  157. God's blessing them and they're being fruitful and they're multiplying and

  158. So the Egyptians are looking at them saying wow the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier

  159. Than we and they start getting nervous that maybe they're gonna take over and so it says in verse 10

  160. Come on, let us deal wisely with them

  161. Lest they multiply and it come to pass that when they're fall without any war

  162. They join also under our enemies and fight against us and so get them up out of land

  163. And you know what this world today wants to deal wisely with us Christians, too, don't they?

  164. They're like come on

  165. Let's deal wisely with these Christians because there there's too many of them

  166. So basically society has brainwashed Christian people not to reproduce

  167. And that is why the birth rates in Christian countries are just down in the toilet

  168. Just down the tubes to the point where in these European countries the birth rates are so low

  169. It's not even replacement

  170. It's not even replenishment rates where the birth rate in certain places or the fertility rate will be less than one

  171. Obviously for replacement you'd need it to be higher than two

  172. Because you know to replace two parents you'd have to have two kids and that's assuming everybody survives and reproduces and so forth

  173. And so really you need a little more than two of a fertility rate just to maintain

  174. And you have these European countries where the birth rate the fertility rate is below

  175. One of x 0.8 0.9 and you know who's even probably really driving the birth rate in these countries or all the Muslim immigrants

  176. So you have a bunch of Muslims coming in and reproducing like crazy

  177. Whereas the actual Christian European citizens are not reproducing hardly at all

  178. Maybe they're having one kid. Maybe they're having two kids and this is the devil's agenda

  179. Saying hey, let's deal wisely with them

  180. Let's tell them to be smart and be wise and to do family planning

  181. You know instead of just being fruitful multiplying having a bunch of kids having a big family leave it up to God, etc

  182. Look what he says in Deuteronomy chapter 1 flip over to Deuteronomy chapter 1 you see 70 people

Deuteronomy 1 chapter mention Deuteronomy 1 chapter mention

  183. literally became millions of people over the course of

  184. 400 years in Egypt because when they leave Egypt they count the men of war and the men of war number

  185. 600,000 well if the men of war are 600,000 what about all the women? What about all the children?

  186. We're talking about two three million people at least okay?

  187. so remember what was said at

  188. The Going Away Party for Rebecca. Hey be thou the mother of thousands of millions two billion minimum

  189. You know, it's funny because God says something similar

  190. You know through Moses inspired by the Holy Ghost in Deuteronomy 111

  191. It says the Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as you are and bless you as he has promised you

  192. There's already a couple million people and he's saying again thousand times as many two billion sounds great

  193. and

  194. So how did they?

  195. Go from 70 people to millions of people and outgrow the Egyptians

  196. Well history tells us and obviously you know we always take these things with a grain of salt

  197. But there is some archaeology to back this up that you know that birth control

  198. Was going on in Egypt that that many even secular textbooks will point to Egypt as the origin of birth control

  199. And Egypt obviously represents worldliness and you know going down into Egypt. It's it's usually not a

  200. blessed thing in the Bible

  201. So let's go to Genesis 38

  202. This is the only

  203. Instance of someone actually using birth control in the entire Bible right because the Bible isn't a book about people using birth control

  204. Or explain because again, this is kind of a modern phenomenon

  205. Where birth control is a big thing now. There's nothing new under the Sun

  206. so yeah, you have people killing their children and

  207. Aborting their babies in the Bible and you have them passing their children through the fire to Molek and you know

  208. practicing and

  209. Fantasized and things like that obviously like I said history tells us that it was going on in Egypt thousands of years ago

  210. There's nothing new under the Sun

  211. But as far as the biblical text as you're reading the Bible stories

  212. What you find is that people want to have kids they want to reproduce

  213. Women are praying that they would have kids and

  214. Society looks on it as a good thing when people are having children and having a lot of children

  215. So the Bible doesn't talk much about birth control, okay

  216. But this is the only Bible story of someone actually

  217. Practicing birth control and it says in Genesis chapter 38 verse 8 and we read the whole chapter before the service

    Genesis 38:8

  218. It says and Judah said unto Onan

  219. Go in unto thy brother's wife and marry her and raise up seed to thy brother

  220. So this this guy has died and Judah is telling him

  221. Hey, your brother is dead and his wife so widow. So why don't you marry?

  222. your brother's widow now and then that way you can raise up seed unto your brother, you know

  223. He can carry on your brother's family name and whatever

  224. and

  225. So onan, you know, he says okay onan marries the girl

  226. But then he decides he's gonna use birth control says in verse number nine and onan knew that the seed should not be his

  227. And it came to pass that he went in unto his brother's wife that he spilled it on the ground

  228. Lest he should give seed to his brother and the thing which he did displeased the Lord

  229. Wherefore he slew him also now look God just kills this guy

  230. God looks down from heaven and sees what he did and he kills him

  231. Now I'm not gonna explain this in detail if you're an adult in here

  232. You know what the story just said when it says that he spilled it on the ground

  233. I'm not gonna be any more graphic than what the Bible is being if you know

  234. If you're an adult see me after the service and I'll explain it to you if you don't know what's going on here

  235. I don't want to go into detail, but the idea here is that he is practicing birth control

  236. You know, we'd probably call this well, I don't even want to say it, but you know

  237. This would be classified similar to like a barrier method, but it would actually be called something else

  238. You know, but the point is

  239. That this guy gets punished by God for doing this and it's the only instance

  240. And he's literally killed for it. Now a lot of people would explain this away

  241. Oh, just kidding the old IFP will actually just never read this chapter and never preach about it for any reason

  242. That's the true story. I mean, I remember I had a friend who was going to a church

  243. They're preaching through the entire book of Genesis verse by verse

  244. They got to chapter 38 and they literally said well, we're gonna skip chapter 38 because we don't want to interrupt the story with Joseph

  245. But we're gonna come back to it and you know what you're not gonna believe this

  246. They just never got around to it. They just never got back to it

  247. And so they typically just avoid this chapter like the plague because it doesn't fit with their feminist

  248. Ideology their second wave feminism mentality of pushing birth control

  249. So they typically skip the story

  250. But if they do interact with the story typically what they're gonna say is something along the lines of well

  251. He wasn't being punished for using birth control. It's only because he'd be in selfish

  252. He's doing it for a selfish reason. He's kind of sticking it to his brother. It's an unloving thing to do

  253. Well, what if I told you that everybody's got a selfish reason for using birth control like hey

  254. I want to have a bigger house bigger cars make more money easy life more freedom not have to work hard look

  255. We as human beings we're talking about this before the service, you know

  256. We're kind of just by nature lazy creatures myself included and our brains and our bodies

  257. We want to do the least amount of work possible. We want to take the path of least resistance, right?

  258. I mean, that's just something we struggle with as humans laziness. I think that's a sin that all of us deal with it and

  259. People with character people who get things done

  260. They have to just force themselves to work hard and get things done because the natural tendency is to just

  261. Do nothing. So like I said, you know, yeah, men don't want to work

  262. Women don't want to deal with it men don't want to have to pay for it because let you say oh

  263. It's easy for you to stay as a man. You don't have to give birth to all these kids

  264. Yeah, but I'm the one who has to pay for them all

  265. So yeah, giving birth to them is a lot of work taking care of in the middle of the night

  266. That's hard work. The wives are in sorrow

  267. They're bringing forth children and they're going through those struggles

  268. But you know the man's having to work by the sweat of his face to pay for it all

  269. So both parties are

  270. Sacrificing in order to have children having children is a sacrifice

  271. Having children is an unselfish thing to do because you're basically

  272. Prioritizing someone else's needs and comfort over your own

  273. But why are we doing it because we're told to do it because we're supposed to do it and we're doing it out of love

  274. Right you love your child so you don't mind sacrificing for your child because you love your child

  275. So you're doing it out of love you're doing it out of obedience to God

  276. I don't care why you're doing it. You're doing it. It's what the Bible says

  277. Why do I go to work? You know I go to work to make money for myself

  278. Yeah, but also for my wife also for my children and you know what when I first started Faithful Word Baptist Church

  279. back in 2005 and

  280. I moved out here

  281. I didn't know if my job was even still my job because I moved out here and I I had given notice at my job

  282. But then my boss said hey start a branch out in Arizona. So I was like, oh, maybe this will work

  283. Maybe it won't I'll try and I got here and it was right before the housing crash

  284. So they lied to me about my loan and so it ended up being like an extra four grand that I didn't have

  285. They had to stick four grand on a credit card

  286. So I ended up just coming here. It was the wrong timing

  287. all kinds of things went wrong and I ended up just having like

  288. $11,000 of credit card debt and just no certain job and a messed up

  289. Home loan when they were writing all those wild loans before the crash and everything like that and you know what?

  290. I was in that situation and

  291. You know what? I had to work a lot of hours and I had to work really hard to pay off that credit card

  292. And to pay my house payment, you know and to just deal with all that stuff

  293. But you know what at the same time I was trying to make extra money to make things a little nicer for my wife

  294. And make things a little nicer for my kids trying to get them the things that would make their lives better

  295. Put a swing set in the backyard

  296. You know maintain the swimming pool be able to allow them to go do stuff and whatever

  297. Get them the vehicle that they want or whatever. Hey

  298. Being a family man or a family woman is sacrifice whether you're the dad or the mom it's sacrifice

  299. So you can see why this self-centered

  300. Generation that's obsessed with themselves basically just wants to go through life. It's just why would we have kids?

  301. You know, why don't we just do it for ourselves?

  302. But what does the Bible say? Well, the Bible says that God is the one who opens and closes the womb

  303. Genesis you don't have to turn to these I'm just gonna rattle these off

  304. But Genesis chapter 20 verse 18 says for the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech

    Genesis 20:18

  305. Because of Sarah Abraham's wife

  306. Genesis 29 31 when the Lord saw that Leo was hated he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren

  307. Genesis 30 verse 22 God remembered Rachel and God

    Genesis 30:22

  308. Harkened her and opened her womb. So even just in the first book of the Bible

  309. It's like God opened this person's womb God closed this person's what he's opening the womb and he's closing the womb and

  310. He's up in heaven

  311. Determining whether people are able to have children or not and look if you're if you're someone who really wants to have kids

  312. And you can't have kids, you know, you need to just trust in the Lord

  313. Wait on his timing because every single barren woman in the Bible every single one of them eventually had kids

  314. You know, you just got to pray and wait on Lord and you know what if God never blesses you with children

  315. That's just his will and you just find other sources of joy in life if he blesses you with too many children

  316. You know, that's his will. You just got to deal with it

  317. You know God is gonna give us all a path to walk. He's gonna give us all across to bear

  318. And it's gonna be different for everybody. Blessed be the name of the Lord and

  319. So it says in first Samuel chapter 1 verse 5 about Hannah the Lord had shut up her womb

    1 Samuel 1:5

  320. It says just in the next breath in verse 6 again, the Lord had shut up her womb and

  321. On and on it goes we could point to other verses

  322. But here's the bottom line go to 1st Timothy chapter 5 bottom line is this first Timothy chapter 5

    1 Timothy 5 chapter mention

  323. It is God's will that you have children. Okay, you be fruitful. You multiply he opens and closes the womb

  324. It's God's will that you have children the Bible says in 1st Timothy 5 verse 14

  325. I will therefore that the younger women marry bare children guide the house

  326. Give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully for some are already turned aside after Satan

  327. What does the Bible say?

  328. That it is God's will for women to get married

  329. Bare children and then to guide the house. Why so that they don't turn after Satan

  330. That's what the Bible says

  331. Look an idle mind is the devil's workshop

  332. Just as a man with no gainful employment is probably likely to get into trouble and get into thing

  333. you know a woman who's not doing her job of getting married bearing children and guiding the house is

  334. likely to get into trouble

  335. This is God's will for the vast majority of people now. There are exceptions to this

  336. There are certain special

  337. Exceptional people that are just gonna be single and they're just gonna serve God as a single person

  338. Like the apostle Paul or something and I'm sure that there are women that are just gonna serve God as singles and be greatly used by God

  339. But that is the exception not the rule quit thinking you're the exception all the time if you have to wonder

  340. You're probably not the exception and you know what if you are the exception then you better be exceptional

  341. Like I don't want to I don't want some super lame Christian who's doing Jack for the Lord coming up to me tell hey

  342. I'm the apostle Paul. No, you're not

  343. You know, hey, I'm gonna stay single because I it's like okay

  344. Well that if you're gonna stay single then work your butt off for God

  345. But if you're just gonna stay single and you're not gonna work your butt off for the Lord sounds like you're just lazy

  346. Sounds like you just don't want to do the job of a man sounds like you just don't want to do the job of a woman and look obviously

  347. We don't want to just marry the first girl that comes along

  348. You know, you got to find the right person and so you got to be patient sometimes

  349. I'm not saying you're you're necessarily gonna get married young

  350. But if you're not married and you're not exceptional and you're not the apostle Paul you should be looking

  351. You should at least be open

  352. You know if you're at that age, okay

  353. If you're young, hey, you just want to focus on other things

  354. Enjoy your childhood and youth for as long as you can

  355. Savor it. It's it's a nice time in your life. Amen

  356. But in general what is God's will for women and when it says younger women the context is he's talking about women under 60

  357. Okay, that's what he's not talking about super young or something. He's just saying women under the age of 60

  358. Okay, now look

  359. I have practiced what I preached on this because of the fact that my wife and I have not practiced birth control in our marriage

  360. Now when I first got married, I was young and stupid

  361. I got some bad advice and so my wife was on birth control pills for the first three months of our marriage

  362. Just because I got bad advice

  363. Okay, and I was just young and dumb and didn't know what was going on

  364. And so my wife was on birth control pills for the first three months then because I thought that oh

  365. I got to wait for my insurance to kick in or blah blah blah

  366. She ended up getting pregnant in the fourth month of our marriage

  367. But then she had a miscarriage

  368. Because little did I know that these birth control pills that she's taking is basically messing up her reproductive system

  369. Because that's what they do. They create a hostile environment in the uterus

  370. So then if you turn around and get pregnant afterward, it's likely to die and that's what happened

  371. So she ended up having a miscarriage and then she got pregnant again and we have pretty much had children, you know

  372. About every two years for our entire marriage, okay?

  373. Sometimes it'd be more like a year and a half sometimes close to the three years

  374. But they're all pretty much like almost exactly two years apart like the the years that they were born are like a

  375. One oh three oh four oh seven oh eight ten twelve fourteen eighteen, you know something like that those those numbers are all accurate. I

  376. Always get a little confused on the last couple

  377. I'm getting old but anyway, so the point is that you know, we have not used birth control a lot of people think

  378. Oh, if you don't use birth control, you're gonna have a baby every nine months. This is not true

  379. Now again, there are gonna be

  380. Exceptions that prove the rule of people that are just super fertile or you know, whatever

  381. But in general as long as you're exclusively breastfeeding. There's something that's a phenomenon called lactational amineria

  382. That will naturally space your children

  383. So just by breastfeeding the baby you end up not being fertile for the time that you're exclusively breastfeeding the baby

  384. That worked with my wife. So she's not even having a period for

  385. 9 10 11 12 months after giving birth because of the fact that she's fully breastfeeding

  386. This is the way God designed it. That's why in Hosea chapter 1

    Hosea 1 chapter mention

  387. It says that when Hosea's wife had weaned low Ruhama, then she gets pregnant again

  388. Why because she weans the one child meaning puts it on solid food

  389. Then she gets pregnant because God naturally did this as a way to space it out

  390. Obviously having children every 9 10 11 12 months is not healthy and not good for you

  391. It's not God's design and so obviously you want to try to avoid that you don't have to use birth control

  392. Just by exclusively breastfeeding that's going to do it for most people other people might want to just you know

  393. At least do something as far as just you know

  394. Not having sex during those times of the month or something, you know, just to let your body heal

  395. Right to just let your body catch up. Okay, but if you're just saying they're just like, oh, we're not sure if we want another one

  396. Well, you know what? Why don't we just let the Lord make that decision?

  397. You know and so we've done this and you know, I've jokingly said, you know

  398. This is the the only method of birth control that we ever used was just praying and asking God to give us more children

  399. That was the method of birth control that we used. Okay

  400. But the bottom line is that we've done that we did this I got married to my wife when I was

  401. 19 and she was 21 years old

  402. Okay, and we started having children right away. We had children pretty much every two years

  403. We have 12 children and now

  404. It appears that we are done having children, you know fingers crossed, you know knock on wood

  405. But it seems like we're done because right now our youngest is four years old

  406. And we've never had a gap this long and so my wife is 47 years old

  407. I know you'd never believe it because she looks amazing, but it's true. Okay, I'm not lying and so

  408. She's 47. She's probably done. It appears that we're done

  409. We finished our course. We kept the faith, etc

  410. Now let me give you some historical thoughts on and I know that this sermon is not popular

  411. I'm I know that this offends people and bothers people but at the end of the day, you know, I'm just preaching what the bible says

  412. I don't see any birth control in the bible except onan getting smoked for doing it

  413. If you got a verse that I'm missing I'd love to see it

  414. But let's get to historical thoughts. Let's go to that great fundamental baptist preacher of the past

  415. President Theodore Roosevelt. Oh, whoops. He wasn't a fundamental baptist, but he was the president of the United States

  416. Who knows who Theodore Roosevelt is you could tell me something about Theodore Roosevelt, you know

  417. And the rough riders and all that right?

  418. So here's what he said

  419. To congress on december 3rd 1906. So this is literally from 1906

  420. Theodore Roosevelt president of the United States spoke to congress and here's what he said

  421. When home ties are loosened

  422. When men and women cease to regard a worthy family life

  423. With all its duties fully performed and all its responsibilities lived up to as the life best worth living

  424. Than evil days for the commonwealth are at hand

  425. There are regions in our land

  426. And classes of our population

  427. Where the birth rate has sunk below the death rate

  428. Now isn't that exactly what I was just talking about like these places in europe

  429. Where they're not even replacing the people that die because the birth rate is like below one

  430. So Theodore Roosevelt saying there are certain areas of the country and certain demographics where the birth rate has sunk below the death rate

  431. Surely it should need no demonstration to show that willful sterility

  432. Now he's not using the modern fancy word birth control because you know, that's just not really the parlance back then because

  433. You know, that's a modern idea and concept. And so he says willful sterility

  434. is

  435. From the standpoint of the nation from the standpoint of the human race

  436. The one sin

  437. The one what?

  438. This is Theodore Roosevelt talking to congress the one sin

  439. For which the penalty is national death

  440. race death

  441. A sin for which there is no atonement. It's like, okay, teddy settle down

  442. What the I mean wow this guy's a little too wild even for me

  443. This is some hard preaching

  444. This is from the president. This is not even church

  445. A sin for which there is no atonement

  446. A sin which is more dreadful

  447. Exactly in proportion as the men and women guilty thereof are in other respects in character and bodily and mental powers

  448. Those whom for the sake of the state

  449. It would be well to see the fathers and mothers of many happy children

  450. Well brought up in homes made happy by their presence. Now. What is he saying? He's saying look

  451. The people that are not derelicts are the ones that need to be reproducing

  452. And he's like the smarter and healthier and better people they are

  453. And then those are the ones that are having birth control

  454. He's like those are the ones we need to having kids

  455. But no, no, no, let's bring a bunch of semi retarded muslims

  456. And let's have them have eight nine ten kids and then all the christians who love the lord and love the bible

  457. And actually no not to marry your cousin

  458. And they actually know that you know pedophilia is wrong and that mohammed shouldn't have married a nine-year-old piss be upon him

  459. Let's have a bunch of you know, uh like sub down syndrome iq muslims reproduce and then we don't reproduce, right?

  460. I mean look teddy has got it

  461. No man no woman

  462. Can shirk the primary duties of life whether for love of ease and pleasure

  463. Or for any other cause and retain his or her self-respect notice. This is not an attack on women

  464. He's saying men and women

  465. Need to both be involved here. They both need to do their part because guess what it's not like

  466. It's men making their wives have kids

  467. You know the bottom line is usually in a marriage the wife is the one who wants to have more kids

  468. And look obviously there are some situations where the husband wants more and the wife doesn't or the wife wants more

  469. And the husband doesn't but let's face it throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century

  470. I think that birth control in many ways

  471. It was men who didn't want their wives to have kids and it's the wife talking the husband into having more kids

  472. Because she wants something to do

  473. You know and she wants to enjoy more kids. She likes having babies

  474. You know women are they have a baby and they're like i'm never doing this again

  475. You know they're in labor and it's painful and they're like i'm never doing this again. This is the last time

  476. right, but then

  477. They get around somebody who just had a baby and they see that little newborn

  478. And then it's just like they get that baby fever once again and they're like uh, we gotta have another one

  479. But at the end of the day

  480. You know, this is something that god has told us is our job. It's our life

  481. It's our responsibility men to pay the bill women to conceive and have the children its life

  482. Okay, let's go to an actual baptist preacher. That was theodore roosevelt

  483. president of the united states

  484. Let's talk about another famous baptist preacher called john r rice now

  485. Who here would say i don't know who john r rice is i've never heard of john r rice, but at the end if you're just like

  486. I don't know who that is. Okay. Well, here's the thing

  487. That doesn't really surprise me because this guy passed away back in 1980. Okay, so this guy hasn't been around for a while

  488. But i asked both chat gpt and grok to tell me who are the three most famous independent fundamental baptist pastors of all time

  489. And john r rice was in the top three

  490. Both on chat gpt and grok. So he's considered one of the top three

  491. Most famous most influential independent baptist pastors of all time. Okay

  492. And the hymnals that we have here are published by the sort of the lord

  493. He's the founder of the sort of the lord my dad heard this guy preach in la back in the 60s every year

  494. And so john r rice wrote a book in 1945 called the home

  495. It's a great book

  496. But i'm going to read for you from john r rice's book on the home the use of artificial means

  497. Drugs and appliances to prevent conception has for centuries been regarded as immoral

  498. Wrong for the individual and dangerous to society as a whole

  499. Those who would encourage widespread use of contraceptives and other artificial methods of birth control or prevention

  500. Are in the minority now. This is in 1945 nowadays

  501. 99 of people are for

  502. Birth control, but in 1945 he's saying these people are in the minority

  503. And they've always been opposed by most of the christian and moral leadership of the world

  504. The roman catholic church has steadfastly insisted that the use of contraceptives and the limiting of families

  505. Or preventing of conception is a sin

  506. Conservative Protestant leaders who believe the bible and stand for historic christianity have usually taken the same position

  507. And common people everywhere have felt unless sentiment has changed in the last few years. Sorry it has

  508. There was a great danger in the spread of information about birth control or in the general practice of birth control

  509. The sentiment of common decent people

  510. Backed up by the intellectual leadership and the moral and christian leadership of the world is illustrated by the laws on the statute books

  511. Of most countries including the united states

  512. Every state in the union except for two

  513. Forbidding the general dissemination of information about birth control. So when he's writing this in 1945

  514. He's saying that in all states except for two

  515. Disseminating a pamphlet about birth control is illegal

  516. Let alone selling drugs or birth control devices

  517. If you even just wrote a pamphlet or a book or give a speech explaining to people how to do birth control

  518. It was illegal in all of the states except two

  519. Folks, this is less than a hundred years ago. This is about 80 years ago. Okay

  520. A radical minority usually either anti christian or modernists who deny the authority of the bible

  521. Carry on an insistent propaganda for birth control

  522. Some of them no doubt are sincere and hope to do away with some of the handicaps and poverty

  523. Which some large families undergo

  524. But usually those who are outspoken advocates of birth control are either feminists

  525. Or the radical groups trying to make women more or less independent of men

  526. Or our social radicals who advocate companionate marriage

  527. Easy divorce free love and the radicals who try to break down the bible standard of permanent marriage

  528. Between one man and one woman try to break down the biblical standard for homes

  529. That is what the independent fundamental baptist used to preach

  530. So I get up and preach the same thing in 2026 and i'm considered crazy

  531. Radical whatever no, maybe you're just a feminist and maybe i'm a bible believing christian

  532. Still staying with the standard that everyone believed for almost 2000 years. How about that? Maybe that's what's going on

  533. Maybe you've been brainwashed now. What's funny is that I bought a copy of that book on the home

  534. At hiles anerson college it was in the college bookstore at hiles anerson college and it's a great book

  535. But you know what's funny is that fast forward to when I was at hiles anerson college and they had

  536. Birth control pills being dispensed on campus

  537. By the campus doctor. They had a campus doctor on staff at hiles anerson named dr. Dennis

  538. Streeter and there was a mandatory meeting for all engaged girls that they had to go to a meeting where dr

  539. Dennis Streeter taught them about birth control prescribed them birth control on the campus of the bible college

  540. And he said and did other perverted things too

  541. He told them he tried to scare them. And how do I know this because my wife actually went to the meeting and recorded it

  542. And this is what he said in the meeting. He said, yeah, there's a lot of women on their wedding night

  543. They have what's called an imperforable hymen

  544. Which is funny at the time I googled it. It got zero hits

  545. Okay, and so it's some super rare thing or whatever, right?

  546. And so they're not going to be able to have sex on their wedding night

  547. So you go to him and he's going to basically go in there and open things up for them

  548. Deflower the maidens so that they'll be able to party on their wedding night. What a pervert

  549. What a weirdo is I think I saw that on braveheart or something

  550. Right, I think that was like a major plot point in the movie braveheart

  551. You know this guy over here is trying to do the same thing. What a pervert

  552. But how's Anderson college literally taught and preached publicly to the whole student body

  553. That married couples should wait two years after getting married before they try to have children

  554. So they taught don't even start don't even think about it

  555. Don't even begin to have children until you've been married for at least two years. This is worldly

  556. Lip-tard advice. This is not bible-believing christian advice

  557. It's not what the bible says and you want to know why the worldly lip-tard feminists of the world tell you to wait two years

  558. Because here's what they're saying make sure the marriage even works out

  559. Before you complicate it by bringing children into it wait two years make sure you know, how about this?

  560. How about we just start reproducing right away because it's do or die because it's till death do us part

  561. I didn't go into marriage like oh, let's try it out

  562. Let's give this a whirl. No, I went into marriage saying this is bone of my bone

  563. This is flesh of my flesh to love and to cherish till death do us part

  564. That's what I went. That's how I went into marriage

  565. I didn't go into marriage. I was gonna try it. It's like no this is for life

  566. It's not like oh, it's gonna make a messy divorce or whatever or oh, you just gotta get to know each other

  567. You know it's like bro, even if you got pregnant on the wedding night, you still got nine months

  568. You don't have a child the first day anyway

  569. You know, it's not like you just

  570. Have a baby the second day of marriage or something

  571. And they want you to take birth control and by the way the birth control pills

  572. They were giving out at house anerson were a board of faciant birth control pills

  573. They don't prevent conception. They prevent implantation and if you believe life begins at conception

  574. They're a board of faciant birth control pills. I don't have time to explain that

  575. So I got a hurry because I got a couple more points

  576. I want to hit on with the second wave of feminism and I'm I'm trying to cram it all into one sermon

  577. Let me just review real quick with a quick timeline on birth control in the united states

  578. In 1873

  579. There was a federal law called the calm stock act that made it a crime

  580. To put contraceptives abortifacients or information about them in the mail. It was all illegal

  581. Okay

  582. 1936

  583. In the united states versus one package

  584. A federal appeals court held that physicians could legally receive and prescribe contraceptives for medical reasons

  585. So in 1936 they changed it to well

  586. Doctors can get this information

  587. If there's a medical reason like for example, like someone is having a medical problem

  588. Where they can't have kids not for healthy people but for people that are having some kind of a problem

  589. They can pass information about this in case they have a patient

  590. They can't safely get pregnant or have a baby or blah blah blah

  591. That's what they're talking about in 1936 then in 1960 we get to the feminist wave of the 60s

  592. And which you know most people would point to the year 1960 as the second wave of feminism beginning

  593. Uh the fda approved the first oral contraceptive

  594. Which was known as the pill for contraceptive use

  595. But this approval by itself did not repeal state criminal laws that didn't allow it in most states

  596. Okay

  597. Then this is the big one 1965. This is the big one 1965

  598. Griswold versus connecticut the supreme court struck down connecticut's ban on contraceptive use by married couples

  599. So connecticut said if you're married you still can't use birth control

  600. That was struck down in 1965

  601. In 1971 they got rid of the calm stock laws about birth control and in 1972

  602. Eisen stott versus baird the court extended the right to unmarried people

  603. And so to give you just the short version

  604. Birth control was illegal for married couples pretty much totally illegal in a lot of places most places in america

  605. For married couples until 1965

  606. That's not that long ago. I mean in 1965 my dad was 15 years old

  607. My mom was 14 years old

  608. So, I mean this is like not going back a bunch of generations and birth control is illegal for married people

  609. And then it became totally legal for unmarried people

  610. So it's totally legal for married people in 65 totally married for the unmarried fornicators of this world

  611. In 1972 and then what happened in 1973?

  612. Anybody know the famous legal court decision of 1973? What was it the big one?

  613. It's roe v. Wade

  614. abortion

  615. legal nationwide so birth control 65 72

  616. Boom right on the heels of birth control is abortion in 1973. Oh, and by the way, did you know that planned parenthood?

  617. Which is known for promoting and performing abortion. Do you know what it was originally called?

  618. It was founded by margaret sanger and it was called the birth control federation of america

  619. And the birth control federation of america was later rebranded to planned parenthood

  620. All right, I got a hurry so point number one on second wave feminism was birth control point number two

  621. No fault divorce now. I'm not going to spend any time on this because I just did a whole sermon on this less than two weeks ago

  622. But you know this was illegal in the usa everywhere

  623. You were not allowed to get a divorce in this country anywhere

  624. Unless you went to court and proved that there was a valid reason for you to get divorced, right?

  625. But starting in california with the 1969 law that went into effect in 1970

  626. You have what's called no fault divorce, which is just like well. I'm just getting divorced because I just don't like my husband anymore

  627. I'm just getting divorced because I just don't like my life anymore or we just we just have irreconcilable differences

  628. We're just not in love anymore just getting divorced for whatever the reason that only goes back to 1970

  629. And that's california the rest of the nation

  630. passed laws after that it took all the way into the 90s

  631. For the whole country to have no fault divorce there were still places

  632. Where it was still illegal and i'm not going to spend time on this point because I already did a whole sermon on it

  633. But i'll just give you one bible verse matthew 532

  634. But I say unto you that whosoever shall put away his wife saving for the cause of fornication

  635. Causes her to commit adultery and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committed adultery

  636. Doesn't sound like no fault divorce to me

  637. Number three

  638. marital rape

  639. Okay, this is the these are the these are the tenets of second wave feminism birth control

  640. No fault divorce and marital rape again

  641. I'm not going to spend time on this one because I've already preached about it a bunch of times

  642. I've already taught scriptures, but south dakota

  643. And nebraska were the first states to remove the spousal exemption in 1975

  644. So this legal concept didn't even exist in america that that somehow there could be rape within marriage

  645. How does that even work?

  646. But this came out in 1975 in south dakota and nebraska

  647. Okay

  648. And then the first time it was ever actually like charged where somebody actually got charged with this crime was in

  649. 1978

  650. Oregon versus ride out

  651. And then by the mid 1980s about 20 states

  652. We're still uh

  653. Treating it as a crime and at least some circumstances and then the last state to drop the formal exemption

  654. Were oklahoma and north carolina in 1993

  655. So over the course of the 70s up through 1993 all these states started saying hey

  656. You can get raped by your husband, you know, basically like like, uh, how dare he tell you that you have to have sex with him

  657. Or something, you know, and I'm not going to spend time on this

  658. I'm just going to give you one bible verse on this first corinthians chapter 7 verse 4 if you want to turn there

    1 Corinthians 7:4

  659. And if you're confused about this issue, you need to turn there

  660. I hear do I need to come turn there for you and help you find it because like if you're confused about this issue

  661. You need to be turning there right now

  662. Okay, and if you're not confused just turn there anyway to make the people around you feel better about themselves for turning there

  663. but you know

  664. The bible says in first corinthians 7 4 the wife

  665. Half not power of her own body, but the husband

  666. And likewise also the husband

  667. Have not power of his own body, but the wife meaning that I can't say to my wife

  668. Hey, my body my choice. How dare you touch me there?

  669. You know, how dare you try to get jiggity with me or you know, how dare you try to get freaky with me here

  670. How dare you try to get it on with me? Did you get my permission first? Did you get my consent? It's like we're married

  671. Okay, and and so here's the thing like the bible is in in the context of this passage the bible is saying

  672. Look

  673. This is a duty that you perform

  674. For your spouse. This is not something that you're allowed to withhold and weaponize

  675. And and and make him whine you and dying you or make her

  676. Woo you and beg you it's like no, this is something that is required in marriage. You're supposed to freely

  677. And joyfully and with alacrity. You're supposed to enjoy this relationship with your spouse

  678. He says look to avoid fornication

  679. Let every man have his own wife let every woman have her own husband

  680. And he says, you know, you don't want to abstain from this activity in marriage

  681. Because then satan will tempt you for your incongnancy. So he's basically saying, you know

  682. Indulge in this freely within marriage

  683. And the only time you should abstain from it is with consent meaning like

  684. Hey, is it all right if we take a break from this so that we can pray and fast, you know

  685. Now look, obviously there are times when women are out of commission

  686. Like for example when they're on their period, they're out of commission according to the scripture

  687. When they've just given birth, they're out of commission for a month or two afterward

  688. Could be even a little bit longer to you know with with surgeries and complications and problems

  689. Obviously there are times when women are out of commission

  690. But in general men and women are supposed to freely engage in this activity within marriage

  691. And when the bible says the husband does not have power of his own body, but the wife does

  692. It's saying that he does not have authority over his body

  693. His wife has the authority over his body

  694. Meaning that she can do what she wants with his body and he can do with what he wants with her

  695. Meaning that they can basically have sex whenever they want because they're married

  696. Now if this is common sense

  697. Anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows

  698. That this is true even without the bible telling you that but the bible did just tell you that

  699. And and here's what you here's what I say, you know, if you're saved if you're a saved christian

  700. Because I understand that unsaved people can't understand the bible

  701. But if you're saved and you can't understand this simple bible verse 1st Corinthians 7 verse 4

  702. You know, we should probably call you an ambulance because you might be having a stroke or something

  703. You know, we should probably take you to the hospital to get checked out

  704. Because because you know, you shouldn't be that stupid

  705. And yet we have these retards out there

  706. Trashing me on the internet every day and playing little clips of making you believe this guy

  707. When I'm saying what every single person in america believed for the first few hundred years

  708. And that every judge in every courtroom agreed like what kind of a retard thinks that that that a husband

  709. That has sex with his wife is raping her because oh because she

  710. Didn't feel like it or whatever or she changed her mind or what it's like bull crap

  711. And you know what people can criticize me on this as much as they want. I will never change on this

  712. I will never back down

  713. And you know what if these libtard feminist fools don't like it they can go to hell as far as I'm concerned

  714. Ask me if I care somebody has to be the voice of reason

  715. Somebody has to be the voice of sanity

  716. Somebody has to tell the truth and you know what if other pastors don't have the guts

  717. To say what needs to be said because they don't want to get made fun of and they don't want to get persecuted

  718. You know what I'll say it

  719. And somebody's got to say it i'm going to say it and you know what you bunch of cowards out there online

  720. You pastors that won't preach the truth about what first carinthian 74 says you have lace on your underwear

  721. You're faggoty. You're a loser. You suck period

  722. You think I care you think i'm going to be bullied by a bunch of feminists that want me to engage

  723. In first wave of feminism second. No, it's all trash

  724. It's all garbage. It's ruining our society. It's ruining our culture

  725. I'm not going to

  726. Oh, but the bible says

  727. That you're supposed to love your wife. Yeah, no crop the bible says i'm supposed I do love my wife

  728. And guess what people who actually believe what the bible says are nicer to their wives than idiot libtards

  729. Who don't believe the bible did you know that?

  730. People who believe the bible are better husbands

  731. You know what? I am super nice to my wife. I'm super thoughtful of her

  732. I'm super caring of her and you know what? No, I'm not just coming home and just all right

  733. I'm here to take what I want or something that's stupid

  734. I've been married for 26 years. I've never physically forced my wife ever in 26 years of marriage

  735. But you know what if my wife just refused to have sex with me for months or years on end

  736. I would make her do it

  737. You know what I don't care go ahead and clip this make a short put it on tick tock all your gross

  738. Weird androgynous feminist blobs can give click like on your little reel

  739. You think I care about what this brain dead retarded 20 second clip

  740. A bunch of freaking chimpanzees looking at their phone

  741. Could be in a retard read a book

  742. Do you actually read a book that was published more than 50 years ago? Maybe you'd know how the world works

  743. Look at those eyebrows on her oh that marital rape

  744. You know what? Why don't you get a brain?

  745. Why don't you read your bible? Why don't you read a book?

  746. Why don't you stop being brainwashed with the most modern

  747. Newfangled ideas and then you're going to call yourself an independent fundamental Baptist

  748. And they get up and they give us this weird

  749. Virtue signal. Well, I just believe that husbands should love their wives

  750. We all do

  751. Right

  752. But but but husbands shouldn't have to force their wives

  753. No kidding

  754. That's the whole point

  755. Well, you know, I mean if you have to make your wife you just have a really messed up marriage. Yeah, I know

  756. What if I told you that the world is filled with messed up marriages

  757. I mean come on if you don't have to force your wife if you have to force your husband

  758. You're really a messed up person. What if I told you that this whole world is filled with messed up people

  759. What if I told you that god looked down on the earth at one point and it was so messed up?

  760. He just drowned everyone

  761. He drowned the whole planet

  762. Except for noa and seven other people

  763. He looked down and he said the imagination of man's heart is only evil continually

  764. Listen to me my friend. There are two kinds of preachers on this issue

  765. There's the preacher who gets up and tells you the truth because he loves you and he's real with you

  766. And he cuts the crap and says look

  767. There are real life problems in marriage. Here's how you deal with them. And then there's the way he's just like

  768. Oh, I just have a perfect marriage

  769. Hey, buddy. Look at me. Look at me and my wife. We're a power couple and you know what

  770. You don't think I could just brag all day about how me and my wife are just so awesome

  771. And we're just a power couple and we just never have problems and it's just so great. It's just so wonderful. You know what?

  772. That is not helpful to the guy who is having marriage problems

  773. That is not helpful to the gal who is having marriage problems

  774. Just you're just like like you think that if somebody came to me with a marriage problem

  775. I'm just gonna be like, well, you're just a messed up person

  776. Y'all are really messed up. Y'all are the most freaked up people that you've ever been in my office

  777. Or do you think I'm probably rather going to try to help them out?

  778. And you know what? I'm going to show the you know what? I'm going to show people the bible and say like

  779. Hey, the bible says you're supposed to put out

  780. Get over it man

  781. Well, I'm never coming back to this church. Well, you know what? That's why I'm going to give you the whole thing while you're here

  782. All right, I I thought I was supposed to just gloss over that point

  783. What the heck happened number one birth control number two new fault divorce number three marital rape

  784. number four

  785. workplace discrimination

  786. Now go if you were to 1st Timothy chapter five and look these are the main tenets of second wave feminism

  787. okay, so uh workplace discrimination

  788. And what this really comes down to is that women wanted to make the same amount of money that men make

  789. They're saying hey if we're doing the same job we should be making the same amount of money

  790. And so they didn't want to be discriminated against where if they have a choice between hiring a man and a woman

  791. They're going to hire the man

  792. For the same position or if they have a man and a woman doing the job

  793. They might pay the man a little more to do the job then they would pay a woman because they want to have a man

  794. Doing the job. So this was made illegal

  795. Right as a result of these feminist waves of the 60s and 70s they passed a lot of laws in the 70s about this

  796. Uh and really what it comes down to is they're trying to become their own breadwinners

  797. In order to get out from under their husband's authority, you know

  798. It's what this comes out or they don't want to do the job of having children

  799. They'd rather go out of the house and do a different job

  800. Then you know staying home bearing children guiding the house. What does the bible say though?

  801. The bible teaches that a woman's place in the home

  802. 1st Timothy 5 14

  803. I will therefore that the younger women marry bear children guide the house

  804. Give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully for some are already turned aside after satan

  805. Notice the term in verse 14 guide the house. That's their job to run the house

  806. And you know, this is actually a lot of freedom and power because the husband's at work all day

  807. The wife is the boss while he's gone

  808. So she tells the servants what to do. She tells the children what to do

  809. She's the second in command of the house. That's a pretty good position

  810. Now you say servants. What the heck

  811. Well, obviously throughout history people have had servants working for them and doing things with them

  812. But even today we kind of have servants too. It's just a different kind of servant because how many people here have ever used instacart

  813. You know or uber eats. Yeah, and then more hands go up. Yeah

  814. Those are your servants bringing you your food. How many people here hire a pool man?

  815. How many people here hire the landscaper?

  816. You know or whatever, you know different people hire people to do different things for them

  817. You know, whether it's

  818. You know the servitude of a thousand years ago or today's version of it

  819. We have different people, you know, how many of you call the electrician to come work on your house when something goes wrong

  820. You call a plumber. You call the carpenter. You call different people

  821. You know those people are coming and who's usually making those calls

  822. My wife's the one calling the appliance repairman

  823. My wife's the one calling the plumber in my wife's the one talking to the home warranty or whatever

  824. about getting a new dishwasher

  825. Or something, you know, so she is telling people what to do and she's telling the kids what to do

  826. She is guiding the house. She is leading the house

  827. And then flip over a couple pages of the right in your bible tidus chapter two

  828. I'm going to hurry up and get through this

  829. Titus chapter two verse four that they may teach the young women to be sober to love their husbands to love their children

  830. To be discreet

  831. Chased watch this keepers at home meaning that they're doing housekeeping. That's the job

  832. Good and obedient to their own husbands

  833. That the word of god be not blaspheme

  834. So this whole workplace discrimination thing is like, yeah

  835. Obviously men need to be the primary breadwinners. They're the primary earners

  836. Okay, and sitting there and saying well women need to make the same amount of money so they can compete with men

  837. Women shouldn't be competing with men in general

  838. Most women need to be staying home married with the kids if they're past that age where they've are the kids are

  839. Out of the house or they just don't have any children. God just didn't give them children or they're single

  840. Yeah, they're going to work jobs and everything, but they can't just expect the the red carpet to be rolled out that

  841. Hey, you're going to make the same amount of money as this guy who's trying to support a whole family

  842. Right and let's face it. There's a fundamental difference between men and women

  843. Let me tell you what that is men put work first

  844. You know what men are like up work emergency gotta miss the t-ball game

  845. Right. Look every single movie tv show and book demonizes the guy who's like

  846. Oh, sorry. I gotta miss the birthday party because I got a work emergency

  847. Bro is trying to put food on the table

  848. You know what and my wife is smart enough to know that if there's a work emergency, she's like go to work

  849. She didn't want me at the birthday party if it means, you know getting fired or losing a customer or losing

  850. It's like bro pay the bills

  851. The heck

  852. You've been watching too many

  853. Movies and sitcoms. Oh the bad man who works hard and and you know misses the football game or something

  854. Because you know what men will tend to do men will prioritize work

  855. You know because men are like I got to pay these bills because you know what man

  856. I I sit around and I think about like man. I got to provide. I got to pay these bills

  857. I got to be responsible here. I got to go to work. I got to make extra money

  858. You know my wife's just like cha-ching cha-ching cha-ching and I'm just like I got to make this money

  859. No, I'm just kidding. My wife is very frugal

  860. I was just a joke

  861. But guess what women will do women women are constantly missing work

  862. for family stuff

  863. Why because deep down

  864. They know that family stuff is the most important thing to them that they're supposed to be doing

  865. And so they're going to be tending to not put work first

  866. Whereas a man will tend to put work first

  867. Now obviously there are exceptions to this they're going to be women who put work first and men who don't whatever but it's just

  868. You know it's just life

  869. And lastly this number five household chores

  870. So let me read you some quotes from some feminist feminist literature of the period but uh

  871. This is from the power of women and the subversion of the community sounds great

  872. Hence we must refuse housework as women's work. This is 1972

  873. As work imposed upon us which we never invented

  874. So it's like we didn't invent housework. Well, who did

  875. I don't think anybody like invented housework. It's just like it's just it's just there man

  876. It goes back to the garden of eden

  877. Dress and keep the garden

  878. Hence we must refuse housework as women's work as work imposed upon us which we never invented

  879. Which has never been paid for in which they forced us to cope with absurd hours

  880. 12 and 13 a day in order to force us to stay at home

  881. Now look, it's true that women do work like 12 or 13 hours a day a lot of times as housewives, but they're also at home

  882. You know, it's kind of nice to work from home

  883. Kind of nice to be at home and they're also doing something meaningful

  884. By raising their children and cooking nutritious meals for their husband and taking care of the house

  885. So look, obviously going to work is hard and being a stay-at-home wife is hard too. They're both hard

  886. Didn't we talk about that at the beginning of the sermon in genesis three?

  887. Oh, these hours are absurd. You know what we as men we often work 12 13 hour days too

  888. The role of housewife here's another quote from feminist literature the role of housewife behind whose isolation is hidden social labor

  889. Must be destroyed

  890. The role of housewife must be destroyed

  891. And then Dalla Costa speaking for the Italian campaign in 1974

  892. For us the demand for wages for housework

  893. Is a direct demand for power

  894. Because the housework is what millions of women have in common

  895. This was like a move to demand wages for housework like they want to be paid

  896. to do the housework

  897. Now as a result of second wave feminism

  898. Generation x became known as quote the latchkey generation

  899. Who's heard this term latchkey child or latchkey generation and a latchkey child means a school-aged child

  900. Who come home from school to an empty house comes home from school to an empty house lets himself in

  901. Often with a key on a cord

  902. The phrase was already in use in world war two for the children of women in the war industry

  903. But it became a national worry again in the late 70s and 80s

  904. Aimed at what is now often called the latchkey generation mostly late baby boomers and generation x

  905. The children of parents who were both at work in the afternoon

  906. So both parents are at work all day

  907. So you get home from school and there's just nobody there

  908. You know, I thank god that when I was growing up

  909. You know, my mom was there

  910. And she was cooking and she was there to greet you and she was there to supervise and hang out with you

  911. You know, my mom was there

  912. But in that generation most moms weren't there because they'd all been gone to work and hey

  913. We're going to be equal to men because look what do all five I gave you five points tonight. I'm done

  914. Five points tonight. Okay. We said birth control

  915. No fault divorce. We said marital rape

  916. Uh discrimination at the workplace and uh, what was the last one? We just said it

  917. Household chores, you know, look at what all this stuff has in common. It's basically it's a rejection

  918. of the wife's role

  919. As the homemaker

  920. It's rejecting her role as like stay at home wife

  921. Stay at home mother

  922. Obedient to her husband

  923. She's supposed to be there for him to provide

  924. You know romance and eroticism for him. She's there to provide food

  925. And household work and take care of things and it's like a nuclear family

  926. Where the husband's paying all the bills and you know what a lot of women would love to live this way

  927. In 2026 because the feminist crap hasn't panned out

  928. So a lot of women are looking at this and like man, I would love to have a big strong man

  929. Come home and feed him dinner

  930. And he pays for everything and I can just stay home all day do chores hang out with the kids

  931. And you know party at night and whatever

  932. Like like what kind of a warped person do you have to be to think that this is bad or wrong?

  933. Well, you have to be a feminist

  934. You just think it's so cool to just clock in and clock out. You're going to be told what to do at work

  935. You think work doesn't tell you what to do

  936. Oh

  937. These women and they're just chained to the stove

  938. You're going to be chained to the stove at pandex press

  939. Or you're going to be chained to your own stove making what you want or you're going to be a white person making chinese food

  940. Every day, you know, my wife makes chinese food sometimes

  941. But she can cook whatever she wants

  942. Here's the last verse thus sayeth the lord stand ye in the ways and see and ask for the old paths

  943. Wherein is the good way and walk there in and ye shall find rest for your souls

  944. But they said we will not walk there in i'm woman hear me war

  945. And you know what you don't like this servant sermon, then you know what the door swings both ways

  946. Goodbye, it was great having you god bless you and to the rest of you

  947. I love you and thank you for being in church because you know what?

  948. I'm so glad that I have a church full of people who love the bible and care what the bible says amen

  949. Because you know what I would not

  950. Even be pastoring if people were as stupid as these tick-tock liberal women if I had a church full of people this stupid

  951. Then I would be done today

  952. I love the fact that we have a couple hundred people that love the lord care what the bible says

  953. And you know what the x and i of b is trash

  954. And they're a bunch of feminists and the old i of b is feminist because they agree with literally

  955. 90 of the first wave and second wave of feminism

  956. Let's bards and I word of prayer

  957. Father we thank you so much for your word lord

  958. We thank you so much for these truths and lord if there's anyone who's offended by the sermon lord

  959. I pray that they would just do some soul searching and more importantly that they would do some scripture searching

  960. Before they just act emotionally about the sermon lord god

  961. I pray that you'd bless those who are following your word and want to live life your way

  962. I pray that you would bless all the families and all the parents

  963. And all the people who are working hard to bring up children in the nurturing admonition of the lord

  964. Even in a society that's fighting us every step of the way

  965. And trying to brainwash our children and steal them from us and turn them into liberal morons lord god

  966. I pray that you would please just bless

  967. Our church and everyone who's under the sound of my voice who actually cares

  968. What the bible says and it's in christ's name we pray amen
