  1. You're listening to The Bible Guys, a podcast where a

  2. couple of friends talk about the Bible in fun in

  3. practical ways. Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Bible Guys.

  4. My name is Chris and this is Jeffrey Man.

  5. And I'm so only my mom calls me Jeffrey and

  6. only when I'm in trouble. Okay, Jeffrey Michael, that's what

  7. she's saying.

  8. Then I'm Christopher. I'm Christopher, and this is Jeffrey.

  9. Well, didn't your mom call you Chrissy?

  10. Still does?

  11. Yeah, okay, still does.

  12. And then you know the reason why, Chucky, Donnie, Tommy, Jimmy.

  13. Oh yeah, and so you had to be You're the

  14. young guest.

  15. And so I'm the one cursed with it doesn't work

  16. with my name, right, everybody else it kind of works, right.

  17. Uh So yeah, I'm I'm the fifth one that doesn't

  18. really work with my name. And by the way, I

  19. was supposed to be Jonathan Christopher, but I was born

  20. on Palm Sunday, just after midnight, and so she wanted

  21. to name me after actually, you know, she grew up Catholic,

  22. so Saint Christopher. So she says, oh no, let's make

  23. it more of a religion name, because she did. She

  24. there wasn't a saint named Jonathan, right, and so I mean,

  25. you know, unless you consider.

  26. Saint John who wrote the Bible part of the part

  27. of the Bible.

  28. But but but no, so she named me after the saint,

  29. which is anyway.

  30. So that's why I became Chris Well.

  31. And it's why you're so saintly. That is, people tend

  32. to live up to their names.

  33. Halo.

  34. Yeah, So hey, we have a segment before we jump

  35. into our UH series about Jesus and his famous sayings.

  36. And this is what Desiree wrote. She said, this is

  37. called a draft list.

  38. Okay, we're going to draft since.

  39. We are in this series.

  40. If Jesus had a podcast, let's do a draft list

  41. of people you would love to have as.

  42. A guest on the Bible.

  43. Guys, you rock paper scissors to see who gets the

  44. first draft pick list.

  45. And go until you have five people. Wow, rock paper scissors? Ready? One?

  46. Two?

  47. Three? Oh?

  48. I did scissors. He did rock. He beats me like

  49. ninety percent of the time.

  50. I don't know why I do. I just I'm in

  51. your mind.

  52. You're a pro, you're pro.

  53. I'm a pro. You get it. I don't play the game.

  54. I play the player, so play the man.

  55. So uh so I'm assuming that what she is meaning

  56. is if I were Jesus and I had a podcast,

  57. which means like Biblical characters.

  58. I don't know, I don't know what.

  59. Because it wouldn't make sense to say, zach Efron.

  60. Let's let's ask it. Well it makes sense for you.

  61. Let's ask does this sitting right back there? Does? Did

  62. you mean Bible characters or just anybody? Anybody?

  63. Oh?

  64. He said anybody, so you can have any So there

  65. you go, zach Efron, Is that your first vote?

  66. No, I'm just say I'm using a ludicrous example.

  67. Okay, so if people you would love to have as

  68. a guest, just just plain guest anybody? Well you wi

  69. is okay, Well, then I would like to have number one.

  70. My first draft pick is Chris Pratt.

  71. Chris Pratt, who is a very strong game.

  72. He is a very very outspoken yes and and uh.

  73. And I love the fact that he is uh. He

  74. is not afraid to talk about Jesus. And even though

  75. even though that he you know, may be rejected by

  76. some people, they may shy away from him casting him,

  77. he doesn't seem to be hurting right.

  78. Yeah, and he's an outspoken Christian. I'd love to hear

  79. his story of faith.

  80. Would be interesting.

  81. Yeah, for sure.

  82. Who else should we have on the Bible Guy's podcast?

  83. Let me see, I think it would be cool to

  84. have David N. Wilson. We haven't had both of them

  85. on our podcast before. Wow, wouldn't that be neat?

  86. Yeah?

  87. So David N. Wilson work on the staff at Heritage Now. Yeah,

  88. and they have a podcast. I actually misquoted it at

  89. Heritage Church. I said they have a million listeners a month. Oh,

  90. and then Dave heard it and he said, he goes, Hey,

  91. it goes. It's okay that you said that, he goes,

  92. but you know, it's a million listeners a week. And

  93. I said, and I was like, well that kind of

  94. Trump's are fifteen thousand for the Bible Guys, which is

  95. our easily fifteen thousand.

  96. We get like twenty thousand. Yeah, yeah, but still.

  97. A million a week and ours are twenty thousand a month. Yeah,

  98. So that's pretty funny.

  99. So family Life Live, by the way, Yes, family life live.

  100. So family life today, what is it? I think it's

  101. Family life Today isn't it. It's one of those two.

  102. I think it's today. Okay anyway, So okay.

  103. So I think it'd be great to have them.

  104. That's a great choice.

  105. Yeah.

  106. So I'm gonna go, I'm gonna I'm gonna stick with

  107. the stars, and I'm gonna say Carrie Underwood.

  108. Carrie Underwood.

  109. Yeah, so one of my one of my favorite country

  110. singers of all time. Respect her voice tremendously, but also

  111. she is an incredible woman of faith. And one of

  112. my favorite little videos to watch is when she and

  113. Vince Gill saying how great thou art and everybody stood

  114. up at the what is it?

  115. Was it? No?

  116. No, no, no, it was actually at like a country

  117. music awards, just a regular country music awards.

  118. Uh whatever it was.

  119. Yeah, I think it was the CMAS and she sang

  120. how great there art, and every stood up and people

  121. in the audience were crying, which goes to show you

  122. that even amongst normal people who don't normally live out

  123. faith or people who grew up with faith, they probably

  124. have like a hidden faith, or as like a suppressed

  125. faith or a faith that faith that isn't active deep

  126. down inside they believe.

  127. So here she is she sings how great there.

  128. Art, and she sings it with such conviction that people

  129. stood up and they're crying in the audience, people that

  130. you wouldn't expect, because that's what you can do when.

  131. You are bold with your faith.

  132. There you go, that's pretty cool, that's fantastic. I think

  133. I would have And this is I have personal reasons

  134. for this one. David and Jared Nelms would be fun

  135. to have on here.

  136. Oh yeah.

  137. So David is the founder of the Timothy Initiative and

  138. Jared Nelms is the current CEO, and we work together

  139. helping train disciple makers all around the world one hundred

  140. and sixty thousand or something like that right now. And yeah,

  141. so I think that'd be really fun to kind of

  142. talk to them about father son interactions leading an organization

  143. and then how do you scale, you know, at the

  144. rate that they've scaled over the last fifteen years, twenty

  145. years and pretty amazing. Yeah, Okay, I'm always intrigued by

  146. people like that.

  147. All right, and then I'm going to go with I'm

  148. going to go with this. Still to this date, my

  149. favorite communicator in terms of like content and style and

  150. and just the ability to capture people is Andy Stanley.

  151. Oh yeah, I'm going to say Andy Stanley, and.

  152. I know that he's been you know, he's ruffled some

  153. feathers with some things.

  154. You know. Well, one of the questions asked, what were

  155. you thinking? Andy? Yeah?

  156. Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah right right. So now that we

  157. have you in the Baba Guys, our question is what

  158. were you thinking? Yeah? But I do believe the best

  159. in Andy. I always do, and even when even when

  160. people say, well, he definitely is.

  161. This way or that way.

  162. So I've known him for a while, I've talked with

  163. him personally at least three dozen times.

  164. Yeah, And I would just say.

  165. I think I give him way more credit than some

  166. people do.

  167. How about that. That's a safe comment.

  168. I give him a lot more credit, and I believe

  169. the best way more than a lot of people.

  170. Anyway.

  171. I love him as a communicator, regardless of any type

  172. of controversy, and I would absolutely love to be his

  173. friend personally and have him on the Bible Guys as

  174. a guest.

  175. Oh wow, yep, I'd like to introduce or to interview

  176. David Green, the founder of Hobby Lobby. Oh wow, I

  177. think that'd be a neat one. Yeah, number one it's

  178. fun talking to billionaires that'd be neat. But beyond that,

  179. here's a guy that founded a company on Christian principles.

  180. It's one of the best places in America to work.

  181. Almost every year, they give Sundays off to all their employees, right,

  182. giving up one seventh of their income. Same thing Chick

  183. fil A did. So let's talk to Dan Kathy too,

  184. I guess. But right, those guys and where they're willing

  185. to give up a significant portion of their potential income

  186. by being closed an entire day, and yet they're thriving

  187. in their industries beyond everybody else. It turns out when

  188. you do what God says to do, he gives you favor,

  189. he gives you his blessing. So I'd love to talk

  190. to both of those guys about that.

  191. Yeah, that's great.

  192. Yes, I described two yeah, yeah, ready, David Green, Dan Cathy.

  193. Yep, okay, And he snuck one in there. So because

  194. you mentioned David Nelms, you're on the board for TATI,

  195. I'm gonna go with Jeff Jones.

  196. Oh yeah, good one.

  197. Yeah.

  198. Jeff Jones is the founder of the ministry that I'm

  199. on the board for, which is anti sex trafficking ministry

  200. in the Dominican Republic called called Transform One, and I

  201. would love to have him on and just talk about

  202. his heart and his story and all the good that

  203. happens there.

  204. And to be fun.

  205. That'd be neat.

  206. Yeah. Well, you you mentioned preachers, so I would say

  207. maybe one of the ones that had the biggest impact

  208. on me as a pastor was Rick Warren.

  209. Yeah.

  210. And I've had the privilege of doing some stuff with

  211. Rick a few times and went to Rwanda with him

  212. and different things, So that'd be really cool to have, yeah,

  213. have him on. And he is he he's retired now,

  214. he's retired from the church, but he's running a ministry

  215. called uh finishing the Task how do we get the

  216. Gospel everywhere to everyone in our generation? So it's pretty neat.

  217. That's really neat.

  218. Okay, here's the last guy that I would uh love

  219. to have have on is actually.

  220. Sir Patrick Stewart. Yeah really so you know, yeah, yeah Picard, Yeah,

  221. Star Trek.

  222. So he is an incredible man of faith, and he

  223. is dignified and knowledgeable. And I tell you what, every

  224. interview I've ever seen him on, he impresses me with

  225. his wisdom and his life.

  226. Of knowledge and and and.

  227. Then he's extremely clever and witty. Yes, So it just

  228. he has so much depth.

  229. But he's so interesting, yes, yes, And I respect him

  230. and everything that he acts in and and I love

  231. him and everything I've ever seen him in.

  232. And so for me, he'll always be Jean Luc Picard

  233. and he will not be Professor X. But he is both.

  234. Yeah, he is he is both.

  235. Yeah, no doubt.

  236. Well, you've chosen two actors three three?

  237. Oh no, no, you're right, actors.

  238. So I'll choose one. I think it'd be really cool

  239. to talk to Denzel Washington.

  240. Oh.

  241. He seems to be on this very public spiritual journey. Yes,

  242. over the last several years. I'd love to just sit

  243. down and talk with him and here what's going on

  244. in his life and how God's been doing what he's

  245. been doing in his life.

  246. That's really cool.

  247. Remember how you grab two and you cheated? Okay, I'll

  248. say Jim Carrey too.

  249. You want to talk to Jim Carrey. He's also on Yeah,

  250. Jim talking about pain bringing him that that's a powerful

  251. you ever see that video?

  252. Oh?

  253. Yeah, powerful video? How pain is what's gotten his attention?

  254. Yep, it's really great.

  255. Well, talking about pain, Oh, I don't know. We're in

  256. Matthew chapter six. That was a painful transition.

  257. Well, then talking about pain, that's the most.

  258. Painful transition I've done in a long time.

  259. Oh, that was actually a very long time.

  260. Well, Jesus said, don't worry.

  261. Yep.

  262. That's and that's that's where we're at. We're in this

  263. segment about don't worry. So we continue in the Sermon

  264. on the Mountain, yep. And we jumped through the rest

  265. of chapter five and he talks about all kinds of stuff,

  266. giving to the needy, praying, fasting, loving our enemies. I mean,

  267. he says so many things. We're not going to preach

  268. the whole sermon, but you should read it. And then

  269. he talks about money, don't store up treasures on earth, instead,

  270. store up treasures in heaven. And then finally he gets

  271. to verse twenty five, and we're going to read twenty

  272. five through four thirty four. In the sixth chapter, he says,

  273. that is why I tell you not to worry about

  274. every day life, whether you have enough food and drink

  275. or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food

  276. and your body more than clothing. Look at the birds.

  277. They don't plant or harvest or store food and barns

  278. for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you or

  279. my wife? My wife spends the small fortune feeding birds,

  280. so mine too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they don't plant or

  281. harvest or And I keep telling her, hey, you're taking

  282. God's job away from him. It's his job to feed

  283. the birds. We don't need to spend so much money

  284. on me. Back to the script, okay, says aren't you

  285. far more valuable to him than they are? Can all

  286. your worries at a single moment to your life? And

  287. why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of

  288. the field and how they grow. They don't work or

  289. make their clothing. Yet Solomon, in all his glory, was

  290. not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God

  291. cares so wonderfully for wild flowers that are here today

  292. and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care

  293. for you. What do you have so little faith? So

  294. don't worry about these things, saying what shall we eat?

  295. Or what shall we drink? Or what will we wear?

  296. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, But your heavenly

  297. Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of

  298. God above all else, and live righteously, and he will

  299. give you everything you need. So don't worry about tomorrow.

  300. For tomorrow bring its own worries. Today is trouble enough

  301. for today.

  302. Yeah, don't worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Yeah,

  303. it's such a great thing to be reminded of because

  304. I don't know, I don't care who you are unless

  305. you're an anomaly because I've not met you. Everybody worries

  306. and and and it's and it's one of these things

  307. where you know, Jesus is basically saying don't do it.

  308. And we also realize, based on every single study or

  309. article that we've ever read and by life experience, that

  310. worry accomplishes nothing, that worry is only negative and never positive.

  311. There's no value and worry.

  312. Yeah.

  313. The only thing that maybe worry can bring that I

  314. can muster out of a positive out of worry is

  315. sometimes when we're flippant, we don't maybe take cautions.

  316. Yeah, it can cause you to be a little bit

  317. more focused.

  318. Yeah, like maybe like if you're if you're not worried

  319. about falling off a cliff. You may fall off cliff, right,

  320. and so maybe maybe that could be the only thing.

  321. Maybe.

  322. Yeah, if you're saying attentiveness, you know, you're equating attentiveness. Yeah,

  323. it's probably not the same showing a concern.

  324. Yeah, probably not the same thing.

  325. Well, I think there's a spectrum of worry. Yeah, there's

  326. terror on one end, and there's just a conscious awareness

  327. on the other end there's terror, yeah, yeah, and there

  328. so there's a spectrum to it. So worry that brings focus.

  329. Maybe that's what we're talking about. What Jesus is saying,

  330. is this debilitating worry that just consumes your life and

  331. becomes examples, becomes the definition of your life.

  332. Because he's talking about like clothing and food and things like.

  333. That, the fundamental things of life.

  334. And you think about it this way.

  335. In the first century, like there were people who actually

  336. did think, I wonder if I'm going to eat tomorrow?

  337. Right, and and and honest people on earth today.

  338. Well, yes, of course, yes, uh wow, that was really insssive.

  339. That I spoke like that.

  340. Oh I wasn't trying to point that out it no,

  341. I know, but it was it was, Well, Jesus was

  342. talking to people like that, and we still have them

  343. on the planet today.

  344. Yeah for sure.

  345. And uh and and not only that, but like he's

  346. he's talking about, uh, you know, God's creation, right, So

  347. he uses creation as an example, and it's just a

  348. beautiful thing to say, Hey, God created the flowers and

  349. the birds. He takes care of them. They don't worry,

  350. and and and they just through their natural instinct they

  351. go through life. And somehow, some way, God always provides.

  352. And and so God also created you, right and and

  353. and he gave you a more sophisticated brain, and he

  354. gave you all sorts of things.

  355. But but just if you just have a.

  356. Natural instinct to rely on God, uh, you know, just

  357. just trust the way that the birds do and the

  358. way that the flowers do.

  359. It's a beautiful thing.

  360. And yet we as humans realize wory accomplishes nothing, and.

  361. Yet we do it all the time.

  362. We just get consumed with worry, and worry can take over.

  363. Worry could actually In fact, I'm going to go on

  364. a limb and say, I bet you I have no

  365. ways to substantiate this, but I bet you ninety percent

  366. of people who are listening to these words, right, now

  367. are probably saying to themselves, Yeah, I need to hear this,

  368. because I struggle with worry, and worry consumes me, and

  369. worry gets the best of me, and it adds years

  370. to my life, and I have more gray hairs. I

  371. feel anxiety, and I feel stressed, and most of the

  372. time when I worry, most of the things that I

  373. worry about don't come into fruition.

  374. It's true, it's true, right, Yeah, I agree with you.

  375. I think worry is one of the consuming issues that

  376. most people face. You know me well enough to know

  377. I don't worry about a lot of things. Yes, It's

  378. not an habitual thing for me. It's very frustrating to my.

  379. Wife, right, it's frustrating to America.

  380. She wants me to join her world. She wants me

  381. to join her sometimes and the things she's worrying about.

  382. So there's a lot of reasons for that. It's not

  383. that I'm hyper spiritual. It's mostly that I'm not paying

  384. attention and that, and.

  385. That you have a very healthy mindset on worry.

  386. So but I had this, I had this season, this

  387. this this window of time about ten years ago where

  388. I just was getting I felt like getting beat to

  389. death by most people around me like I couldn't make

  390. anybody happy. I had some staff members that were mad

  391. at me. I had a bunch of volunteers that just

  392. were mad at me. I had people I thought were

  393. allies that just turned out weren't allies. And all these

  394. things were happening at the same time. And so normally

  395. I go to bed at night, and this is is

  396. frustrating too. If I lay my pill my head on

  397. my pillow, I'm asleep within five minutes. Just to sleep,

  398. just out, man, I just I don't lay there and

  399. worry about stuff. I don't think about it. I just

  400. turned my brain off, go to sleep. It's because tomorrow

  401. has its own problems, right right, Jesus said, Hey, Tomorrow's

  402. gonna have his own problems. I got to get some

  403. restaurant now. So I just I go to sleep, don't

  404. worry about things. But I'd had this window of time

  405. of over the course of two or three weeks, where

  406. I felt like I couldn't make anybody happy. I was

  407. just in a mess, and I'd lost a lot of

  408. sleep during that time, and it was really like disconcerting

  409. to me because that's not how I live my life.

  410. And then I had this guy who was bugging me

  411. about coming to hunt on his property. And I love hunting,

  412. and one of the places I kind of recenter my

  413. life is out in the woods. I just as crazy

  414. as the rest world goes. And it's weird because my

  415. adhd I'm just all over the place. But for some reason,

  416. I get in a tree stand and my world comes

  417. into focus. It's quiet, I'm by myself. I don't know

  418. how I can do that for hours at a time,

  419. because I can't do it anywhere else in my life,

  420. just there in the woods. And so a lot of

  421. times I'll bring up New Testament with me and I'll

  422. read some scripture and I'll just sit and think about it.

  423. I'm just looking around the woods, waiting for a deer

  424. to walk by. So this guy was bugging me come hunting,

  425. and I thought that's a good place for me to recenter,

  426. and so I go. I'd never been on his property,

  427. I barely knew him. And it's like four o'clock in

  428. the morning, and I'm exhausted anyways, but I hadn't really

  429. slept much that night. I pull into his farm, I

  430. open up the tailgate in my truck and I'm starting

  431. his stuff, and he came up to me and he goes, hey,

  432. the Lord just really spoke to me strongly, and he

  433. gave me a gun case. I had a brand new

  434. gun in it. It was a muzzleloader, like a black

  435. powder the old fashioned, oh yeah gun. He said, I

  436. don't know if you have one of these. I said,

  437. I don't. He said, I just feel like the Lord

  438. wanted me to give this to you and say God

  439. loves you and you're doing a great job, and remember

  440. going what And I looked down and he had written

  441. in a marker on the cover this verse, Matthew six

  442. thirty three.

  443. Oh come on, yeah, come on, I promise.

  444. You really, and he said, seek the Kingdom of God

  445. above all else and live righteously and He'll give you

  446. everything you need. And it just kind of recentered me.

  447. That was my thought the whole rest of the day,

  448. you know. And my friend George, Yeah, that was my

  449. first time ever out with him, right, And he gives

  450. me this gun and you know I didn't have one

  451. like that. I always wanted one, and he wrote Matthew

  452. six thirty three. And I just sat there the whole

  453. rest of the day just feeling like, And I went

  454. back and reread this whole passage and see Guy's like,

  455. no worries, no worries. And that was the day I

  456. formulated this phrase, and I say it all the time.

  457. He said, so, don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow brings

  458. its own worries. Today's troubles enough for today. Everything worth

  459. doing is hard. Life is hard. The good and the

  460. bad are both hard. It's hard to accomplish good things,

  461. and not everybody's gonna like what you're doing, and you're

  462. gonna create enemies even as you're doing the right thing.

  463. It's hard. When you do the wrong thing, it makes

  464. life harder. So on both sides, life is hard. Choose

  465. which things you're going to do that are hard, that

  466. are going to have the most value. That's what he's

  467. saying here. So seek the King of God. That's what

  468. the most value is going to be. Live a godly life,

  469. a righteous life. God's going to give you what you need.

  470. And everything worth doing is hard, So choose the best

  471. things and do those. That's what we said. Man, that

  472. totally changed, and so, like i'd say, the last ten

  473. twelve years, I've had a totally different perspective on ministry

  474. and on leading people than I did prior. And it

  475. was that day, that book, or that day when he

  476. wrote Matthew six thirty three on that Yeah, wow.

  477. That's a great story. Yeah.

  478. Well, you know, God uses people in our lives, and

  479. you know, clearly God knew exactly what you needed, and

  480. that it feels like to me, that's God's loving embrace

  481. to you.

  482. Right, It's just God does that.

  483. And I'm not a guy that people give lots of

  484. gifts to.

  485. God cares that much for us.

  486. Yeah. Yeah, so people don't just go, oh, hey, I

  487. thought of you give you these gifts, right, I'm usually

  488. not at the forefront of people's stuffs. So it was

  489. a surprise me, probably maybe only the second or third

  490. significant gift like that that I've ever had given from

  491. a stranger, you know, or somebody in my ministry. And

  492. so you're right, I did feel like it was like

  493. a hug from God. Yeah, that's right, and it was

  494. exactly right. Words. And his dad do you know those

  495. do you know those little daily devotionals called Our Daily.

  496. Bread, Daily Bread.

  497. Yeah, So his dad was the one who started that

  498. and was the general editor for that for years and

  499. years and years, and so he just at lunch that day,

  500. he sat and talked about how difficult ministry can be.

  501. And he grew up in that environment and he knew

  502. that a lot of times guys take take a lot

  503. of hits and don't know where to turn. And he says, so,

  504. I just want you to know I'm gonna be your friend,

  505. I'm gonna be your ally. And I wasn't looking for

  506. friends and allies, but he just and he's just attached

  507. himself to me all these years. And thank God for

  508. friends like that.

  509. Yeah.

  510. Yeah, well he's standing the gap and you know, yep,

  511. that's right. That's powerful for me.

  512. Yeah. And so I remember when you had you got cancer?

  513. Yeah, like like five minutes after I got hired.

  514. Yeah, well I think I had it before I hired you.

  515. I found out I had it right after we hired.

  516. You hadn't even started working here yet.

  517. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  518. And then it was actually like three days after I

  519. gave my first message here, and then you told me

  520. you were like, oh here, by the way, I was like, oh,

  521. is that why you hired me as a backup plan?

  522. You know? So I didn't know and some other people

  523. might have thought that too. Yeah, but obviously God, you're

  524. cancer free right now. But all that to say, I

  525. got hired in. My first message was October eleventh, twenty

  526. twenty here.

  527. And then.

  528. Four weeks later, excuse me, four weeks later or actually

  529. it might have been six weeks something like that. You

  530. gave a message on Worry Yeah, yep, in November, and

  531. you actually I.

  532. Was right before my surgery, yep, right for your.

  533. Surgery, and you talked about you know, hey, you know,

  534. you can't threaten somebody with heaven? Yeah, and and and

  535. everybody's attitude was like what, like how could you? How

  536. could you be that way?

  537. Like what? And yeah?

  538. And you're just like, hey, well it was you know,

  539. one of the great missionaries. And I said this, I

  540. think last week on the podcast, but he said, I'm

  541. invincible until God's done with me. And it's true. How

  542. can And my dad used to always say, you can't

  543. threaten a Christian with heaven? Is that that is that

  544. all the devil has? You're gonna die? Right, Oh really,

  545. I'm gonna go to heaven.

  546. That's so great, right, Hey, well that's a that's a

  547. good place to end. So what a great passage and

  548. hopefully we could walk away from today and just say, hey,

  549. worry less, right, trust God more, and and and uh,

  550. and especially the kind of worry that's gonna be very

  551. destructive and harmful. Let it go and let God be

  552. God in our lives.

  553. Seek what's most important to God. That's his kingdom and

  554. that that's that's primarily about reaching lost people who don't

  555. know Jesus. And then live righteously, do the right thing.

  556. Those two things you want to know a guy wants

  557. from me, Do those two things. He's going to give

  558. you everything else you need.

  559. That's right, all right, Well, hey, well hopefully we'll see

  560. you tomorrow on the Bible, guys,
