  1. You're listening to The Bible Guys, a podcast where a

  2. couple of friends talk about the Bible in fun in

  3. practical ways. Well, good morning, good morning, assuming that you're

  4. watching in the morning. Yeah, I guess true course most

  5. people do.

  6. Or happy afternoon or goody, goody, goody, or good night sleep.

  7. Remember that video that we did.

  8. Oh yeah, you were great in that. Go back to

  9. twenty nineteen and watch that or not because they may

  10. not want to.

  11. October of twenty twenty, twenty twenty.

  12. That's right, that's when you started.

  13. I forgot Actually it might have been actually in November

  14. actually because it was relational vampire relational lampires. Yeah, some

  15. good news, yep.

  16. Jeff standalone then Relationship Press did a great job on

  17. that man with great acting.

  18. Hey, so my name is Chris. This is Kyle. We

  19. are the Bible Guys today because Jeff is out of

  20. town and we've been had we had we've had a

  21. great discussion on great Yes.

  22. Yeah, we're Jesus and the Outsiders.

  23. Jesus and the Outsiders, and we're talking about famous sayings

  24. of Jesus. In the past, we've described it as what

  25. if Jesus had a podcast, he would actually talk about

  26. his famous sayings, but really it's it's a series about

  27. the famous sayings of Jesus. And today he's going to

  28. be talking about how the first shall be last. But

  29. before we do that, we have a segment that I'm

  30. very fond of Would you rather? Because it asks a

  31. ridiculous question and it forces you to make a choice

  32. between two bad choices.

  33. Gotcha?

  34. All right? You want to read the first one? Sure?

  35. All right, here we go, Chris. Yes, would you rather

  36. have a pet lama that follows you everywhere? Or a

  37. parrot that constantly roasts you?

  38. You know what? I think that people would get sick

  39. of the lama because lama spit, they smell right, and

  40. they're very large. So if I'm going through like a

  41. rotating door in New.

  42. York, that'd be tough with the lama, right, that's how

  43. you lose it.

  44. But the parrot, But the parrot could be on your shoulder, right,

  45. and parrots it would have actually be humorous. Yes, and

  46. even though it get irritating, I would enjoy it very much.

  47. Yeah. I would say that the llama might make you

  48. some friends to start, people who want to be aroun

  49. because the lama is following you. But I feel like

  50. the parrot keeps friends around for a while.

  51. Yeah. I mean it's just been like, hey, that guy

  52. with the parrot that constantly, Yeah, that's good. It's like, oh,

  53. I can't wait to get the guy in the room.

  54. Right, yep, as long as you don't have too much

  55. of that gred percent, eventually you're like, okay, we got

  56. so the parrot. Yeah, I'm gona agree with the parrot.

  57. I feel like the lama.

  58. Yeah again, I feel like people think it was super

  59. cute until it's not. That's for sure.

  60. Yep. Okay, so parrots for both of them. Right.

  61. Would you rather have a vacuum that sings show tunes

  62. or a fridge that judges your snack choices?

  63. What was that?

  64. I tapped you because I realized you're to read that

  65. one as my bad. Sorry.

  66. I thought you were tapping me because they said show tunes.

  67. No no, no, no, that bad because you started speaking

  68. and I was like, oh h I anologizing, Hey, dude.

  69. I totally thought that's what Jeff would have done. Jeffould

  70. have said show tunes no definite all right here?

  71. Would you rather have a vacuum that sings show tunes,

  72. or a fridge that judges your snack choice.

  73. Well, there's no comparison here. You would have to loathe

  74. show toots right. First of all, how often do you

  75. run your vacuum? Yeah? And for how long?

  76. My wife every day? Yeah?

  77. Okay, right, but for how long though?

  78. Twenty minutes max?

  79. Fifteen? Yeah, fifteen? Probably right? And so and it's hopefully

  80. it's pleasant, Hopefully they're not off key, right, Hopefully the

  81. vacuum doors had a saying yes, right, yes? Or at

  82. fridge that judges your could you imagine.

  83. That'd be kind of funny, though, every.

  84. Time you go into the fridge it's judging you.

  85. Last and last. It's like a motivational thing. You're like,

  86. You're like, I want that fridge is going to when

  87. I pull that food out there. It was a tactic

  88. for only some right get shamed.

  89. I would say, like, for instance, I'm thinking, once again,

  90. since I've already brought up Jeff, I would say that

  91. Jeff would laugh at the judging because he and I

  92. are the same personality. We sort of love that. You know,

  93. he roast his brothers all the time, that sort of

  94. his love language, and he and I roast each other so,

  95. and he wrote you heroes everybody right, So he would

  96. laugh and he wouldn't mind it it uh and you

  97. would ignore it, yeah right.

  98. Yeah, that's what we do.

  99. You just ignore one, any good one. But most people

  100. aren't like us. Most people would be like feeling bad.

  101. Like my wife, Yeah, she would be like, oh mine too, way,

  102. like I will pay you to get rid of these fridgs.

  103. So and I like show tunes, so I would definitely

  104. definitely say the vacuum that sings shows. Yeah.

  105. I would say that the fridge does not bother me

  106. that much because I do think it could be funny slash, yeah, motivational,

  107. but I don't see that. And the negative with the

  108. vacuum that sing show tunes, I don't see the negative

  109. at all. Oh I would look forward to yeah, yeah,

  110. there you go.

  111. Yep. I just I can't even imagine I'd look forward

  112. to it. I'd be like, oh, yeah, that's not bad.

  113. Let me vacuum.

  114. It's not a bad one.

  115. All you do. The windows I was not a bad

  116. one at all. All right, let me read number three

  117. and four? Right, yeah you gottam all right, there we

  118. got number three. Would you rather only eat with chopsticks

  119. or only eat with a tiny spoon. That's rough.

  120. Okay, So because I do not, I'm embarrassed at this.

  121. I do not know how to use oop sticks.

  122. I could say.

  123. Well, the other thing too about me is I am

  124. I do struggle with patience. I'm not saying impatient, but

  125. I struggle with patience. So whenever it comes to chopsticks,

  126. it just feels like I'm like, I'm just gonna grab

  127. before I come, grab a spoon and just get this

  128. over with.

  129. Yeah, you know what, I love chopsticks. I love them.

  130. I love them. Yeah, I've learned to eat noodles with chopsticks. Really,

  131. so I could I could actually eat like put tie

  132. with chop sticks. Obviously with soup you have to have

  133. a spoon. Yeah right, so it's not a universal thing.

  134. And this is saying only eat with chopsticks, you'd have

  135. to drink your soup.

  136. Right. And also I would say I probably should learn

  137. how to use chopsticks because could you imagine eating soup

  138. with a tiny spoon? That would be like for impatient people,

  139. that would be.

  140. Maybe the worst. Well, to be honest with you, a

  141. tiny spoon with steak, Oh, it wouldn't be good either.

  142. Yeah.

  143. No, right, so I'd rather use chopsticks for steaks.

  144. Oh, I'd use my hands if I had those options.

  145. Oh yeah, well but all as you were allowed to

  146. use a knife. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but it's saying,

  147. you know, I'm assuming eating things bring up to your mouth.

  148. Yeah right, so you can cut it.

  149. Yeah, I'd go chopsticks for that reason, although i'd have

  150. to learn.

  151. So yeah. So I'm going to say Shop six two

  152. because I like them. And how could a billion Chinese

  153. people be wrong? Right, that's true.

  154. Come on, they know what they're doing.

  155. They know what they're doing.

  156. They're smarter than they can't be wrong. That's right.

  157. By the way, that's a movie club, Come on, Michael,

  158. how can a billion Chinese people be wrong? What's it from?

  159. It's from the Lost Boys? Oh okay, throwbacks. It's actually

  160. a movie about vampires.

  161. Okay, I'm true, right something like that.

  162. Acknowledge that? Yeah, yeah, but no, no, it was wasn't.

  163. The famous actor or actors in there, no, believe it

  164. or not.

  165. The main star was a no name guy. But it

  166. did have some famous people in it. The kids were

  167. short of famous. Okay, So anyway, all right, Number four

  168. would you oh Keith Sutherland? Okay, so that was the vampire.

  169. Keith for Otherland, Yeah, from twenty four that's right, legendary show.

  170. Yeah he was young then. Anyway. Number four, would you

  171. rather be stuck in a room with fifty Would you

  172. rather be stuck in a room with fifty clapping robots?

  173. Or one mime who won't break or who won't break

  174. eye contact? Are you kidding me? This is the most

  175. random question.

  176. One mime who won't because you didn't get through that,

  177. one mime who won't break eye contact?

  178. So stuck in a room, right, but how stuck in.

  179. The r Yeah, let's throw a number out there.

  180. Let's say twenty four hours.

  181. Yeah, twenty four hours, fifty clapping robots or one mime

  182. who won't break kaikn.

  183. I'd have to choose the mime, yeah, I mean only

  184. because fifty clapping robots, I'm assuming they're metal. Yeah, I'm

  185. assuming because the room is I mean it's not going

  186. to be acoustically treated, yeah, which means like my ears

  187. will be bleeding. Yes, right, so I'd have to choose

  188. the mime. Yeah.

  189. I think the mime's uncomfortable, like very uncomfortable, like I'm

  190. not going to get pass effect that is odd, right,

  191. and just be staring at it like that would be weird.

  192. But I would say that, Yeah, the annoyance after a

  193. while of the robots, I'd have to choose the mime

  194. as well.

  195. Yeah, fifty clapping robots.

  196. Wow, just as a funny site.

  197. That is a wild question. It is, it is all right,

  198. We'll give you the right, last one, last one.

  199. Would you rather be known as the person who always

  200. has a snack but never shares or the one who

  201. laughs like a dolphin?

  202. Again? Pretty random?

  203. Wow, these are random.

  204. I would definitely rather be known as the person who

  205. laughs like a dolphin. It's not even a question really,

  206. because it's saying. It's saying very specifically here that your

  207. reputation is a person who never shares. Yes, and that's unacceptable. Yeah,

  208. so it is as unacceptable as laughing as a dolphin

  209. is in public. I would much rather choose that and

  210. then be able to try to explain that a way

  211. as I'm sorry, it's the way that I laugh, as

  212. opposed to having a bad reputation of a person who

  213. ever shares.

  214. Yeah, you've hearn meet people like that who you'd say,

  215. like thirty type of people that always has a snack

  216. but would never share it.

  217. Um G whiz, that's a great question. I'm I'm not

  218. sure that I can peg that on a single person.

  219. Yeah. Probably. We don't want to use any names either.

  220. He's curious because when I read the description, I was.

  221. Like, huh, well, I mean, I wouldn't say their name anyway,

  222. But I'm not sure I really know somebody who's that selfish,

  223. do you.

  224. I there has been people in my life. There was

  225. one person in particular. I remember we go on these

  226. like like golf outings and be a bunch of people together,

  227. and this one person would like have his own like

  228. like cooler and it was like his own thing.

  229. Yeah you know.

  230. It was just like it was no, no, no, don't touch

  231. that's his stuff.

  232. It was like oh yeah, all right, yeah yeah, go man,

  233. come on to pullen, give me, hit me the co

  234. now get your own jeez. Yes. Anyway, So, hey, what

  235. a great segment that was, And we went too long

  236. on that. Would you rather so we're gonna go right

  237. into Matthew chapter twenty.

  238. Here's a bad transition. Would you rather play that game

  239. again or would you rather get into the Bible.

  240. Ooh, that's it. I forgot the transition.

  241. Yeah, what would you rather do?

  242. I would rather Kyle get into the Bible.

  243. Let's do it then? Perfect, all right, Matthew, Chapter twenty,

  244. starting in verse one, we're going through verse sixteen. It's

  245. it's the title here is. Jesus tells the parable the

  246. vineyard workers. Says this for the Kingdom of Heaven is

  247. like the landowner who went out early one morning to

  248. hire workers for his vineyard. He agreed to pay the

  249. normal daily wage and sent them out to work. At

  250. nine o'clock in the morning, he was passing through the

  251. marketplace and saw some people standing around doing nothing, so

  252. he hired them, telling them he would pay them whatever

  253. was right at the end of the day. So they

  254. went to work in the vineyard at noon, and again

  255. at three o'clock. He did the same thing. At five

  256. o'clock that afternoon, he was in town again and saw

  257. some more people standing around. He asked them, why haven't

  258. you been working today? They replied because no one hired us.

  259. The land owner told them, then go out and join

  260. the others in my vineyard. That evening, he told the

  261. foreman to call the workers in and pay them, beginning

  262. with the last workers first. When those hired at five

  263. o'clock were paid, each received a full day's wage. When

  264. those hired first came to get their pay, they assumed

  265. they would receive more, but they too were paid a

  266. full day's wage. When they received their pay, they protested

  267. to the owner, those people worked only one hour, and

  268. yet you paid them just as much as you paid us,

  269. who worked all day in the scorching heat. He answered

  270. one of them, friend, I haven't been unfair. Didn't you

  271. agree to work all day for the usual wage? Take

  272. your money and go. I wanted to pay this last

  273. worker the same as you. Is it again the law

  274. for me to do?

  275. Oh?

  276. Sorry? Is it against the law for me to do

  277. what I want with my money? Should you be jealous

  278. because I am kind to others who I love that?

  279. Should you be jealous because I am kind to others?

  280. Then it says so those who are last now will

  281. be first then, and those who are first will be last.

  282. Did you know, by the way, that this was my

  283. very first message at Hardon? No?

  284. No, wow?

  285. Yeah, So we were just talking about that. We were

  286. saying the Vampire's member. Oh yeah, so I got hired.

  287. October eleventh was my first message twenty twenty. We were

  288. in a series called Some Good News Yeah, and I

  289. preached this passage. And the point is that the question

  290. of the title, the title of the message was is

  291. God fair? Remember? And then the answer, based on this

  292. passage was God is not fair? Right? God is not fair. Now,

  293. first of all, when people hear that concept, before I

  294. give the rest of them of the title or the

  295. rest of the point, I should say, people might have

  296. a problem with that. What do you mean God's not fair? Well,

  297. fairness ended in the garden of Eden. Right, God is

  298. not fair at all. Fairness, by the way, is something

  299. that we all want. We all want our coaches to

  300. be fair. We want our teachers to be fair, we

  301. want parenting to be fair, we want our bosses to

  302. be fair. And yet at the same time, fairness can

  303. be a thing that is, you know, not a good thing.

  304. For instance, like, hey, they got to raise and I didn't.

  305. That's not fair. Actually it is, they produced and you didn't.

  306. They're talented and you're not. It's like there are some

  307. things where it's like fairness is not what is demanded.

  308. Not every kid is going to be on the field

  309. at all times, right, at all plays the NFL. If

  310. everybody got the same amount of time playing, it would

  311. be more like it wouldn't exist. Right, Yeah, it was

  312. all fair.

  313. Yeah. So so fairness isn't always a high value. And

  314. to be honest with you, it isn't always a great night. Right.

  315. So as people demand fairness for the sake of fairness

  316. is it's it's not a great concept. So the question

  317. is is God fair? And and and the answer is

  318. absolutely not, and then and then and then the extension

  319. to that answer is He's incredibly unfair in our favor

  320. or to our favor. Both are grammatically correct, but God

  321. is unfair to our favor in our favor. So, in

  322. other words, he if we gabble, we deserved. If you

  323. wanted God to be fair, then we'd all be in hell, right.

  324. And it's like, it's like, we don't want God to

  325. be fair. The last thing you want is for God

  326. to be fair, because God gives to us that which

  327. we don't deserve, and that's called grace. Yep, right, the unmerited,

  328. unwarranted and unmerited favor of God. But God, God decides

  329. to not give us what we do deserve, which is

  330. called mercy. So he holds back right, mercy that spares

  331. us and grace that favors us. And so the thing

  332. I love about this is really that concept, the concept

  333. that God doesn't even apologize. No, you know what it is.

  334. It's the it's the no explanation explanation. Right. So they're like, hey,

  335. I demand an explanation. How did you give those guys

  336. who only worked one hour all this money? And he says,

  337. I don't have to even answer you, right, I could

  338. do what I want with my own money. And by

  339. the way, I'm not unfair to you. Take your money

  340. and go your way. I've been I've been very fair

  341. to you because here's the wage we agreed upon him.

  342. He doesn't even pretend to say why he did what

  343. he did. He said, I can do what I want.

  344. Yeah, and I read it twice there. But I like

  345. when he turns it on him said, should you be

  346. jealous because I am kind to others?

  347. Right?

  348. That's like that's a but I know for me, Like

  349. just in this New Living Translation Bible, the Chronological Life

  350. Out Vacation Study Bible, here's a couple of points on

  351. there that they that they bring up is that this

  352. parable speaks especially to those who feel superior because of heritage,

  353. position or having spent so much time with Christ, and

  354. to new believers. It's a reassurance of God's grace. And

  355. then as it goes down, it says, I love this part.

  356. It says, many people we don't expect to see in

  357. the Kingdom of Heaven will be there. The criminal who

  358. repented as he was dying, will be there, along with

  359. people who have believed and served God for many years.

  360. Do you resent God's gracious acceptance of the despise, the

  361. outcast and the sinners who have turned to Him for forgiveness?

  362. Have you been Have you ever been jealous of what

  363. God has given to another person? Instead, focus on God's

  364. gracious benefits to you and be thankful for what you have,

  365. Oh man.

  366. And and now if you if you want to break

  367. down the hermaeutics of this passage and go word by word,

  368. and there's obviously there's a there's a study that could

  369. you know, reveal a lot, but even just uh, phrase

  370. by phrase also right, so phrase by phrase, what you

  371. realize is that Jesus is a master story of them

  372. because he sets the precedents and he says he hired

  373. him at the beginning of the day. Well, first of all,

  374. the Jewish calendar is different than our calendar, so we

  375. have midnight to midnight is a day, but in the

  376. Jewish calendar it was six am to six am. And

  377. the reason why is they called the sun. You know,

  378. the time of the sun it was day, and the

  379. time of the you know, all through the night was evening,

  380. and so twenty four hour period began with sunrise and

  381. it ended, you know, at sunrise. So anyway, all that

  382. to say, that's the reason why some of your versions

  383. in the Bible may say on the third hour, on

  384. the sixth hour, on the ninth hour, right on the

  385. eleventh hour, because what they're doing is they're taking it

  386. from six am. But this version translates for us. This

  387. version says nine am, noon, and then five pm. And

  388. then we know that the day ended when the sun

  389. went down, because they said this man only worked one out,

  390. which means that the shift was a twelve hour shift.

  391. So we literally know that. So Jesus is a master

  392. storyteller because he says these guys agreed to twelve hours,

  393. and he agreed them to pay a denarius denarius was

  394. actually determined in the book of Deuteronomy, or maybe it's Leviticus,

  395. one of those two as affair day's wage. It was

  396. also the same wage that a Roman would get working

  397. for the whole day. So denarius was a very fair thing.

  398. So imagine the first century listeners. They're like, Okay, once

  399. upon a time, there's a guy who owns a vineyard,

  400. and this guy agrees to work for all day and

  401. he agrees on a denarius. Everybody's like, I'm with you,

  402. Like that is very fair. So they started out the

  403. listeners were like, it's very fair. And then he finds

  404. somebody nine o'clock, and I love how Jesus says, I'll

  405. pay you what is right. So Jesus doesn't even indicate

  406. what he's going to do, and so Jesus is literally

  407. adding suspense, right. I mean he is a master scriptwriter,

  408. because everybody who's listening goes, ooh, I wonder what that is.

  409. They've worked three hours less. Then he found somebody at noon,

  410. I'll pay you what is right? Only half a day,

  411. only six hours? I wonder what that is. Then at

  412. five o'clock, one hour right, and then he gives them

  413. a denarious. Whoa, And he starts with the denarius for

  414. the for the one hour guy, and he works backwards.

  415. So they all got to witness it.

  416. Even the listeners are on the edge of their seat.

  417. What the one hour guy got a denarius? They're wondering.

  418. It's so masterful and obviously he's God, right, But all

  419. I have to say this, there's a reason why we

  420. love good stories. There's a reason why we can find

  421. the Gospel in stories. You could find the Gospel played

  422. out in almost anything. You know. I watched the Bible, guys.

  423. I think it might have been this morning, like literally

  424. the morning of this record, and and and in the

  425. morning of the recording. We talked about how there was

  426. how the Bible was shown in certain movies. We talked

  427. about the matrix But dude, you could literally preach a

  428. whole movie and call it the gospel according to the.

  429. Matrixes people did back in the day. They would do

  430. a series like yeah, yeah, you could.

  431. Do the Gospel according to Harry Potter. And some people

  432. are like, oh blassph me, But I'm telling you, the

  433. Gospel is in Harry Pottery. The Gospel is in the

  434. Lord of the Rings, right, And I believe that obviously.

  435. It's what I'm what I'm meaning is as I'm meaning

  436. that the overall arching story of a hero sacrificing for

  437. another is the story of salvation. And you can find

  438. it in other stories, and those are the stories that

  439. grab our attention. Those are the stories that make the

  440. most money, those are the stories that are most popular.

  441. And the reason why is because the Gospel is in

  442. you and the Gospel is in me. There's a deep

  443. rooted sense where we want that story. We long for

  444. that story in our souls because that's the story of

  445. the Gospel that is in you.

  446. I would say too, I love that because you know

  447. it's taking back to the the first century when he's

  448. telling the story, and you got to think when he's saying,

  449. when they sell the story, some people, I mean they

  450. got they got upset about this, like they're mad, they're

  451. they're like no, no, no. And a part of it is

  452. because the way the structure and the rules and the

  453. religion and tradition it was all about, you know, meeting

  454. quotas and standards and like it's all those things. And

  455. then Jesus starts breaking it down, like you're saying, like

  456. it's not fair. But he starts breaking it down in

  457. a way that like it doesn't make sense because it's

  458. it's like the good news of Jesus and what he did.

  459. It doesn't make sense the fact that it's available to

  460. anyone everyone, that somebody can literally be on their deathbed

  461. and say today, I've decided, if they've truly surrendered their

  462. life over to Jesus, that they can have that moment

  463. and they can actually join us in heaven. Like I

  464. read earlier the thief on the cross, Jesus doesn't say, okay,

  465. before we you know, I take you before you die,

  466. I need you to get off the cross and go

  467. get baptized, or he needs you to get off that

  468. cross and go attend to local synagogue. No, he just

  469. literally is like he's just saying to him, hey, today,

  470. you'll be with me in paradise. And it has to

  471. do with the faith, and it has to do with

  472. that surrender that because I do think that there's going

  473. to be a lot of people in heaven that we're

  474. going to be surprised who made it, But also shouldn't

  475. we have the same humility. I'm surprised I made it.

  476. I'm surprised. Well, thank god, I don't deserve that. If

  477. you truly understand what he's the grace and the like

  478. you said, the mercy that he's given us, you have

  479. no choice but to have humility if you ever get

  480. to the point where you start to think that you're

  481. above somebody or start to I guess, score people or

  482. rank people in that way, which is what the Pharisees

  483. did all the time. Like, you start to look a

  484. lot like a Pharisee when you start acting like that.

  485. You know, and we don't want to be on that side.

  486. And you know, Jesus always has a master comparison. Right,

  487. there's a point in the story. And and the point

  488. of this story is, you know, the people listening, most

  489. likely it doesn't say so, but most likely wait, wait

  490. a minute, wait a minute. Actually I'm going back on

  491. my words here because I'm going back, it says. Then

  492. Peter said to him, we've given up everything to follow you.

  493. What will we get? Then Jesus replied, and then he answers,

  494. and then he goes directly into for the Kingdom of

  495. Heaven is like a landowner, right, so and so yeah,

  496. and then and then also they asked another question who

  497. in the world, who in this world can be saved? Right?

  498. So this is a this is a long conversation. This

  499. is the reason why Jesus is telling these stories. But anyway,

  500. the point is is that the masterful comparisons are we

  501. try to ask ourselves who are we in the story? Right?

  502. So you know the prodigal son, you know the Pharisees

  503. who were grumbling, they were the older son and they

  504. were the point of the story, right, And so who

  505. are we in this story? Well, the entitled Christians are

  506. the ones who are the twelve hour, full day Christians

  507. who say, wait a minute, you know they shouldn't be

  508. able to get the full day's wage, right, There's no

  509. doubt about it.

  510. They don't deserve what I've worked hard for.

  511. That's correct, and there's some legitimacy there, right. But here's

  512. what I would like to bring out or bring to light,

  513. and that is if you go down that line of

  514. thinking and you say, okay, who are the twelve hour workers?

  515. Who are the nine hour workers? Who are the six

  516. hour workers? Who are the one hour workers? And another

  517. way to say it is who are the eleventh hour people? Right?

  518. And the answer is we all are it's the same

  519. answer as the five hundred silver coins that you're forgiving of. Right,

  520. we are the eleventh hour workers, every single one of

  521. us are. We're all saved by grace, we're all forgiven.

  522. We're all the ones who get unexpected, undeserved forgiveness. And

  523. not only do we do it for salvation that think

  524. about it. Every single time you screw up, and then

  525. you screw up again, and then you mess up again,

  526. and then you don't mean to, but once again we

  527. fail God, or you know, or we willfully sin, or

  528. we're just too tired and we neglect, or we walk away,

  529. or we're apathetic, or we're depressed, or you know, we

  530. feel guilty about our choices. We know that it's wrong,

  531. but you know, we just we're just gonna do it

  532. anyway because we want to do what we want to do,

  533. all these different things that we do, knowing that that

  534. that's not the right thing to do. God offers continual

  535. forgiveness that never stops. That's right, unconditional grace that is unending.

  536. And so all of us are the eleventh the room.

  537. All of us are.

  538. That's good. No, I thought that was great man, great

  539. way to end it. And great, great story, and it's

  540. something I think that as some anybody, anybody who's new

  541. to the faith or maybe even somebody's been a Christian

  542. for a long time, can really glean some insight from

  543. this passage for sure.

  544. Hey, let's end this podcast by you being me and

  545. I'll be you because Jeff always lets me sign off. Yeah,

  546. so you sign off and I'll do what you do.

  547. Go ahead, all right, cool, all right, signing off. We're

  548. the Bible.

  549. Guys.

  550. My name's Chris.

  551. This is no. I didn't mean that I thought you

  552. you being me, but I just.

  553. Thought I repretend I was gonna try to pretend to

  554. be you. Hey, guys, we'll see tomorrow. Yep, you
