  1. Well, I pastor in a sleepy little town called Washington, DC.

  2. Pretty easy place to pastor.

  3. Everybody gets along.

  4. In all seriousness, I'm just gonna say this there is a hill higher than Capitol Hill.

  5. It's a hill called Calvary where sin and shame met their match.

  6. And there is a house more important than the White House.

  7. It's the house of prayer for all nations.

  8. Administrations come and go, the kingdom is forever.

  9. And we started with 19 people 30 years ago.

  10. We have the joy now of hosting the Easter sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial.

  11. And a few more than 19 people show up.

  12. And it's such a beautiful moment because you've got thousands of people declaring a risen Christ, an empty tomb over that national mall.

  13. So I want you to know that God is moving in incredible ways in Washington, D.C.

  14. When you think of us, would you pray for us?

  15. Thank you.

  16. And I am so excited about night.

  17. You know, you aren't supposed to have favorites, but I mean, let's be honest.

  18. People who come to church on Thursday night, that's like your favorite as a pastor.

  19. You are not here playing church, it tells me that you're hungry for what God has.

  20. And if you stay humble and stay hungry, nothing God cannot do in you or through you.

  21. And so I come tonight with holy expectation to see what God is gonna do.

  22. We didn't even talk about the message, but you talked about miracles.

  23. That's what I want to talk about tonight.

  24. Do you know right now, it feels like you're sitting still, but it is an illusion of miraculous proportions because you're actually on a planet that's spinning at a thousand miles an hour, and you're having a pretty good hair day.

  25. Simultaneously speeding through space at 67,000 miles per hour.

  26. So listen, even on a day when you feel like you didn't get much done, you did travel 1.6 million miles through space.

  27. Okay, does that feel pretty good?

  28. Now, here's the irony.

  29. We don't think twice about it, right?

  30. I mean, when was the last time at the end of the day you hit your knees?

  31. Lord, I wasn't sure we're gonna make the full rotation, but you did it again.

  32. We don't thank God for keeping us in orbit.

  33. We already believe God for the big things.

  34. What we need to do now is believe God for the little things.

  35. Do you know?

  36. I've met people who would say, I've never experienced a miracle.

  37. Really?

  38. Do you know that there are 37 sextillion biochemical reactions happening in your body right now?

  39. You don't have to change batteries.

  40. You didn't flip a switch.

  41. Your heart'll beat 100,000 times today.

  42. It'll pump six quarts of blood through 60,000 miles of veins, arteries, and capillaries.

  43. That is twice the circumference of planet Earth.

  44. 30 trillion red blood cells, each with 260 million protein called hemoglobin that door-dash oxygen to every cell in your body.

  45. And then don't forget about your double helix DNA.

  46. If you stretch it end to end, it would reach to the moon and back a hundred and fifty thousand times.

  47. Don't tell me you haven't experienced a miracle.

  48. You are a miracle.

  49. But but I what I want to do tonight, I think everything is miraculous.

  50. Every breath, every moment, our metacognitive capacity, the ability to imagine, language, all of it is in Christ.

  51. All of it is miraculous.

  52. But I want to talk about some of the miracles that defy logic, that defy a doctor's diagnosis.

  53. You need to know who's talking to you tonight.

  54. I've experienced too many miracles not to believe God for the next one.

  55. So that's what we're gonna believe for tonight.

  56. I want you to grab your Bible.

  57. You can meet me, Zechariah chapter four.

  58. Zechariah chapter four, and we'll get there in just a moment.

  59. In 1983, a physicist named Lauren Whitehead published a paper titled Domino Chain Reaction.

  60. Now, the domino effect, nothing new.

  61. But what Whitehead discovered that was scientifically significant is that a domino is capable of knocking over another domino that is one and a half times its size.

  62. So a two-inch domino can knock over a three-inch domino.

  63. A three-inch domino can knock over a four and a half inch domino.

  64. By the time you get to the 18th domino, you can knock over the leaning tower a pizza.

  65. Of course, it's leaning, not entirely fair.

  66. 21st domino can knock over the Washington Monument.

  67. 23rd domino, Eiffel Tower, 24th domino, Empire State Building.

  68. By the time you get to the 26th domino, you can knock over the tallest building in the world, the Burge Khalifa, 2,717 feet.

  69. But it always starts with a two-inch domino.

  70. Now, there are two kinds of progression in mathematics.

  71. There's linear progression.

  72. One plus one equals two, two plus two equals.

  73. What a campus.

  74. Very good.

  75. Then there's exponential progression.

  76. So two times two equals.

  77. Four times four.

  78. And sixteen times sixteen.

  79. Yeah, I heard a few 32s.

  80. Um, two hundred and fifty-six.

  81. Here's where I'm going.

  82. I don't believe that faith is linear.

  83. No, no, no.

  84. Faith is exponential.

  85. Prayer is not linear.

  86. Prayer is exponential.

  87. If you take 30 linear steps, you are only 90 feet from where you started.

  88. But if you take 30 exponential steps, you have circled the planet 26 times.

  89. Here's where I'm going with that.

  90. I can't move mountains, but I can plant mustard seeds of faith, and God can move mountains.

  91. It always starts with a two-inch domino.

  92. If you do little things, are you ready to be encouraged?

  93. See, we think we have to do amazing things for God.

  94. I've got good news.

  95. Joshua 3, 5 says, Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow I will do amazing things among you.

  96. See, we want to do amazing things for God, but that's not our job.

  97. God is the one who does amazing things for us.

  98. Our job is to only consecrate ourselves to Him.

  99. And when we do, God shows up and shows off.

  100. If you do little things like their big things, God has a way of doing big things like their little things.

  101. Don't despise the day of two-inch dominoes.

  102. Zechariah chapter 4, verse number six.

    Zechariah 4 chapter mention

  103. So he said to me, This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel.

  104. Not by might or by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord Almighty.

  105. What are you, mighty mountain?

  106. Before Zerubbabel, you will become level ground.

  107. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of God bless it, God bless it.

  108. Then the word of the Lord came to me.

  109. The hands of Zerubabel have laid the foundation of this temple.

  110. His hands will also complete it.

  111. Then you will know, then you will know that you know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.

  112. Who dares despise the day of small things?

  113. There's gonna come a day.

  114. The day's gonna come.

  115. I don't have to be a prophet to tell you this.

  116. Well, first of all, none of us are getting out of here alive.

  117. Not this service.

  118. Every one of us is gonna walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

  119. None of us is immune to pain and suffering.

  120. Hard times come.

  121. There are gonna be moments where I'm gonna tell you right now, where you don't need another sermon.

  122. You need a word from the Lord.

  123. You need a word from God, a word that quickens your spirit that helps you understand what it is that you need to do.

  124. You're gonna need a word from God.

  125. I mean, I was 30 years old when my intestines ruptured, spent two days on a respirator, lost 25 pounds in a week.

  126. Do not recommend that diet plan.

  127. I should have died.

  128. I should not be here.

  129. But God.

  130. My wife, Laura, walked through two bouts with cancer.

  131. No one's immune to this stuff.

  132. Listen, rang the bell.

  133. Um, you know, on the other side of it, we're doing great.

  134. But then, you know, not too much longer.

  135. I have a brother-in-law just diagnosed, my age with ALS.

  136. It's brutal.

  137. What I'm saying is, there's gonna come a moment where you're gonna need a word from the Lord.

  138. Let me ask you a couple of questions.

  139. Who is the loudest voice in your life?

  140. Is it the loudest voice or is it the still small voice of the Holy Spirit?

  141. What percentage of your thoughts and actions and reactions are a regurgitation of news media and social media?

  142. And what percentage is a revelation that you are getting from God's word?

  143. We need a word from the Lord.

  144. We need prophetic ears that can hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

  145. More than half a century ago, Dr.

  146. Alfred Tomatis was confronted with the most curious case of his 50-year career as a world-renowned Oto laryngologist.

  147. Say that three times fast.

  148. Ear, nose, throat specialist.

  149. A renowned opera singer had lost his ability to hit certain notes that were within his octave range, and it was a mystery, and he had been to lots of other specialists, and they all thought it was a vocal problem, a vocal problem.

  150. Dr.

  151. Tomatis thought otherwise.

  152. Using a sonometer, he discovered that the opera singer was producing a hundred and forty decibel sound waves at a meter's distance.

  153. That's louder than a military jet taking off from an aircraft carrier.

  154. Long story short, the opera singer had been deafened by the sound of his own voice.

  155. And Dr.

  156. Tomatas said, you cannot hit a note if you cannot hear the note.

  157. The voice can only reproduce what the ear can hear.

  158. The French Academy of Medicine called it the Tomatis effect.

  159. And here's what I would suggest tonight.

  160. I know you have problems.

  161. I have problems, relational problems, emotional problems, spiritual problems.

  162. And we think that the problem is the problem.

  163. I'm not saying it's not a problem, but maybe it's a presenting problem.

  164. Maybe the root cause is ears that have been deafened to the voice of God by our own self-talk, by the condemnation of the enemy.

  165. That we God can hardly get a word in edgewise.

  166. Because we've been deafened by the sound of our own voice.

  167. The word of the Lord came to Zerubbabel.

  168. Now, why was it significant?

  169. Well, you know your Bible history, I'm guessing.

  170. 586 BC, uh King Nebuchadnezzar, Babylonian army, lay siege to the city of Jerusalem, and they destroy the wall, the temple, they plunder it.

  171. And so the Israelites, many of them, people like Daniel, people like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are taken as prisoners of war to Babylon.

  172. They're exiles.

  173. Well, 50 years later, 536 BC, Zerubbabel leads a remnant back to Jerusalem.

  174. And when he goes back, the temple is in ruins.

  175. So imagine, imagine the overwhelm that he felt.

  176. Okay, I think God's stirring my spirit.

  177. I think I'm called to rebuild this temple.

  178. And the temple is in ruins.

  179. Stones are destroyed.

  180. You've got 50 years of weeds growing.

  181. You ever look at something and you're like, yep, no.

  182. No way, no how.

  183. Like, have you ever had a dream that like, ah, this is so far beyond my ability, beyond my resources, beyond my education.

  184. No way.

  185. Yahweh.

  186. I just like throwing that in there.

  187. That you kind of look at it and it's like, humanly speaking, this is an impossible situation.

  188. Here's where I'm going tonight.

  189. This isn't gonna be the longest message I ever preach.

  190. I'm just gonna get to the point.

  191. I think there comes a point in your life where you have to stop talking to God about your mountain.

  192. And you have to start talking to your mountain about God.

  193. I I think I think some of us, some of us, what we do is we begin to explain our problems to God as if he doesn't understand.

  194. We we remind him over and over and over again as if he is somehow for forgotten, or we kind of detail it in a way just to kind of help him out just a little, a little bit.

  195. Listen, there's nothing wrong with confronting the brutal facts, but you need to do it with unwavering faith.

  196. And there's gonna come a moment where what you need to do is you need to start speaking to the mountain.

  197. What mountain?

  198. Oh, where do we start?

  199. The mountain of depression, the mountain of disappointment, the mountain of doubt, the mountain of frustration, the mountain of anxiety, the mountain of divorce, the mountain of a diagnosis that's terminal.

  200. You name it, some of us, it is a mountain range.

  201. What you need to begin to do is begin to declare who God is.

  202. You need to declare the goodness of God.

  203. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

  204. You need to begin to declare the power of God.

  205. Not a Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all I can ask or imagine according to His power that's at work within us.

  206. You declare the mercy of God.

  207. His mercies are new every morning.

  208. You begin to declare the greatness of God.

  209. If God is for us, who can be against us?

  210. I'm telling you, you need at least seven Bible promises right in your back pocket.

  211. You just need to pull them out.

  212. Ah, same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me.

  213. Let's go.

  214. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

  215. He who began a good work, will carry it.

  216. He is preparing good works in advance.

  217. You have to figure out what is gonna be the script of your life.

  218. All of us have negative narratives that we need to overwrite.

  219. We have false narratives that we need to overwrite.

  220. The only way to stay on script is scripture.

  221. Scripture is the script cure.

  222. You've got to stay in God, you have gotta be grounded in God's word.

  223. In fact, let me let me sidebar.

  224. Can I tell you a little story?

  225. I I uh I have a friend in his 40s who started having panic attacks.

  226. Came out of nowhere.

  227. Never struggled with anxiety before, but these panic attacks were like debilitating.

  228. And and he was reading a book, a book by uh guy named Randy Frazy, and in that book, Randy uh is sharing a similar story about just overwhelmed by anxiety.

  229. And and I, you know, it because we're kind of just getting to know each other, let me just say this.

  230. I'm so grateful for doctors, for medicine.

  231. I have two therapists because some people need more than one.

  232. Okay, I'm a both and guy.

  233. So don't take this as saying, like, but I also believe God does miraculous things at an altar, that God can work miracles.

  234. And so he's reading this book, and Randy had gone to seeing his counselor, and this is many years ago, um, because the counselor, uh, the prescription was a cassette tape with an audio version of the Bible.

  235. And the prescription was 30 minutes two times a day.

  236. And and the counselor said, now, now uh psychiatrists will call this neurolinguistic programming, but we call this biblical meditation.

  237. In other words, thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you.

  238. So you know what my friend did?

  239. He he called his parents, he's in his 40s, his parents were in their 70s.

  240. He said, Mom and dad, would you would you record uh you reading the Bible?

  241. And I don't know how else to say this.

  242. I just don't think you're ever too old to be tucked into bed by your parents reading scripture.

  243. And my friend said, I I don't know how, but just hearing the word of God with my parents' voice print, and God began to set me free from that mountain of anxiety, those panic attacks.

  244. Praise God! I believe in the power of God's word.

  245. God is watching over his word to perform it.

  246. Jeremiah 1.

  247. His word does not perform uh return void, Isaiah 55.

  248. But do you know that uh faith cometh by hearing?

  249. And hearing by the word of God?

  250. Sometimes you just gotta say it out loud, and then you gotta keep saying it because you need to hear yourself hear it.

  251. I don't know what mountain you're facing, I don't know what miracle you need.

  252. Testimony is prophecy.

  253. Maybe jot that down.

  254. Testimony is prophecy.

  255. If God did it for me, he can do it for you.

  256. If he did it before, he can do it again.

  257. See, I you know, Pastor Jason, what I've found is there are moments in my life where I have a spiritual father who is 84.

  258. I I have family people that are just closer to Jesus than I am, that have fought more battles, that they've they have a few more scars.

  259. You know what?

  260. I like being around them for a couple of reasons.

  261. One, they stretch my faith.

  262. But another reason is sometimes I just need to borrow someone else's faith.

  263. Because I'm flat broke.

  264. I just don't feel like I have the faith to believe, and I need I need your testimony.

  265. I I think what one of the one of the challenges is that a lot of churches have kind of lost the the power of the testimony, and and it's usually just just one person who gets up and TMI, too much information, right?

  266. And it's like, oh man, well, that got a little sideways.

  267. No, no, no.

  268. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our.

  269. So, can I share a testimony?

  270. My earliest memory was an asthma attack.

  271. Three years old.

  272. Woke up in the middle of the night, couldn't breathe, woke my parents up.

  273. Uh, a drive to the emergency room, shot of epinephrine, open up my lungs, and that routine was repeated night after night after night till finally diagnosed um asthma.

  274. And an albuterol inhaler would become my best friend for the next 40 years.

  275. Listen to me, I would not go anywhere without it.

  276. I slept with an inhaler under my pillow.

  277. I played basketball in college with an inhaler in my sock.

  278. Like I there were not 40 days in 40 years that I did not take multiple puffs of a rescue inhaler.

  279. When it's your first memory and you can't remember anything else, it's hard to imagine anything else.

  280. You add it up growing up.

  281. I was an ICU a total of about four months, usually at about a week at a time.

  282. When I was 13 years old, I was code blue.

  283. Remember about six doctors, nurses rushing into my room about two o'clock in the morning.

  284. I'm telling you, I thought I was taking my last breath.

  285. My parents were so scared that they called the pastor of the church that we had just started attending.

  286. And it was a church of thousands of people.

  287. And that pastor was in my hospital room in 10 minutes flat, in a suit no less.

  288. I mean, that's how they used to roll.

  289. Little did he know that the 13-year-old kid he was praying for would marry his daughter nine years later.

  290. And so I get out of the hospital and a prayer team comes over to our house.

  291. And uh, hey, let's pray.

  292. Let's believe for healing.

  293. Let's believe for a miracle.

  294. So we prayed.

  295. We prayed for healing.

  296. And God did a miracle that night, but not the one I prayed for.

  297. Because I woke up the next morning and I still had asthma, but all the warts on my feet were gone.

  298. I know this just got a little weird.

  299. And it trust me, it was confusing.

  300. I'm like, Lord, is this like a game of telephone?

  301. Like somewhere between here and heaven, something got really mixed up.

  302. There is someone somewhere who is breathing great, but still has warts on their feet.

  303. And at 13, I heard the still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

  304. Mark, I just wanted you to know that I'm able.

  305. But you need to know, I prayed hundreds of times.

  306. Lord, would you heal these lungs?

  307. And it didn't happen.

  308. It didn't happen.

  309. Um then on July 2nd, 2016, I was preaching this passage.

  310. Our church was in a series called Mountains Move.

  311. And I had this moment where, like, I mean, Pastor Jason, when you preach it, sometimes you you gotta live it.

  312. I mean, we preach to ourselves first, and so I was so challenged, like, Lord, what what am I believing for?

  313. What am I just felt this stirring, almost like the spirit stirred, the spirit is irrubbable.

  314. I just felt my spirit stirred.

  315. And I went public the first week of the series, I said, I'm praying a bold prayer.

  316. I'm believing, I know he's able, it hasn't happened, but I'm praying that that God would heal my lungs.

  317. And I remember that Sunday, I went down to the altar and I'm kneeling at the altar, and I'm like, Lord, it's me again.

  318. I'm here again.

  319. I'm asking again that Lord, you would do a miracle.

  320. And the craziest thing, I went a week, I had never gone seven days without taking an inhaler.

  321. And I'm like, what?

  322. What is what?

  323. But but again, like it's so unbelievable to me.

  324. I'm like, I just I don't know, Lord, I don't know.

  325. And then our worship team pulls out, great are you, Lord.

  326. Uh, it's your breath in our lungs, and and it dropped me to my knees.

  327. And I just had this sense, God, I think you're healing me.

  328. I waited 50 days because it was just so, I can't believe it, I can't believe it.

  329. Um, I want to tell you, that was more than 10 years ago.

  330. I have not touched an inhaler from that day to this day.

  331. God healed my lungs.

  332. We were in that marathon that I ran, uh, the Chicago marathon.

  333. I ran the marathon to celebrate God's healing miracle, just to do something that I could not have done.

  334. Now please hear me.

  335. There's nothing name it claimant about this.

  336. Every prayer has to meet a two-fold litmus test in the will of God for the glory of God.

  337. Prayer is not outlining our agenda to God, it's getting into God's word, into God's presence, saying, God, what's your agenda for me?

  338. And if it's healing, that would be wonderful.

  339. It's about discerning how the spirit is is moving.

  340. I think sometimes we feel like the key that is gonna unlock the miracle is just the right combination of words.

  341. Oh, church, you you do not have to pray in KJV Shakespearean English.

  342. You do not need fancy, fancy language.

  343. You don't need theological terminology.

  344. In fact, one of my favorite, I I love this story uh about the grandfather uh who was walking by his granddaughter's uh bedroom at night as she was going to sleep, and he heard her uh praying.

  345. She said, Dear Lord, A B C D E F G, H I J K L M M O P, Q R S T S T W X, Y, N Z.

  346. Amen.

  347. So he walked in, he was like, Sweetie, why are you praying the alphabet?

  348. And she said, Well, I wasn't sure what to say, so I figured I'd let God put together the letters.

  349. Like, I love, don't you kind of love the childlike faith?

  350. I want to hear, I want you to hear me.

  351. God is drawn to a childlike faith.

  352. God is drawn before a word is on our tongue, he knows it completely.

  353. And so I think what the Lord hears is not our words as much as our hearts.

  354. And I do think that God honors bold prayers because bold prayers honor Him.

  355. Let me back up the bus for just a minute.

  356. What did what was the word?

  357. What was the word?

  358. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord.

  359. I I just I want to ask you tonight, how how big is your God?

  360. Is he bigger than your biggest mistake?

  361. Is he bigger than your biggest problem?

  362. Is he bigger than that mountain that you're facing?

  363. And when was the last time by faith you began to believe God for that miracle?

  364. Here's what I believe.

  365. If you said, Mark, kind of what's your what's your take on the gospels and uh life and ministry of Jesus?

  366. Here's my take.

  367. I think the meta-narrative of the gospels is Jesus exercising his authority.

  368. Over what?

  369. Everything.

  370. He exercises his authority over sin by forgiving it.

  371. 70 times seven, it is finished.

  372. He exercises his authority.

  373. Listen, we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities.

  374. He exercises his authority over those spiritual principalities, over the strongholds.

  375. And even if you look at the miracles, 34 recorded miracles in the gospels, not including the virgin womb or the empty tomb.

  376. And each one is more amazing than the last.

  377. I mean, that first miracle changes the molecular structure of water, turns it into wine.

  378. Jesus is exercising his authority over the periodic table of elements.

  379. That's what he's doing.

  380. There is not an atom in the universe that isn't subject to his authority.

  381. And that's why he could stand up in a boat during a storm and say, Peace be still to the wind and waves that it had to obey him.

  382. It's why he could say to a man, four days dead, Lazarus, come forth.

  383. And he had to obey because Jesus had that authority.

  384. It's how Jesus could feed 5,000 people with five loaves and two fish.

  385. See, you're here tonight and you're saying, But but Mark, I don't have enough.

  386. I don't have what it takes.

  387. All I got is two mites.

  388. Well, last time I checked, that was the most celebrated giver in the entire gospels.

  389. All I have is an alabaster jar of perfume.

  390. Well, then break it as an act of worship.

  391. Five plus two equals seven.

  392. Linear.

  393. In your hands.

  394. But if you take what you have in your hands, you put it into the hands of God.

  395. Now five plus two equals five thousand remainder twelve.

  396. A little boy with a little faith.

  397. Two-inch domino.

  398. Don't despise the day of small beginnings.

  399. Just take what God has entrusted to you.

  400. All it takes is a mustard seed of faith.

  401. And God can begin to move mountains.

  402. Let me come in for a landing.

  403. How are we doing?

  404. Is your spirit stirred tonight?

  405. Is your faith stretched?

  406. I'll just sidebar and say that I really, I really believe that our biggest problem is our small view of God.

  407. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts, declares the Lord.

  408. In other words, God likens the difference between your thoughts and his thoughts to the expanse of space.

  409. Astrophysicists estimate that the distance from one side of the universe to the other is 93 billion light years.

  410. That's a distance we cannot comprehend.

  411. And so here's my thought.

  412. And those four words are still creating galaxies at the outer edge of the universe, then that means the universe is God's way of saying, look at what I can do with four words.

  413. I think one of the most powerful prayers is, Lord, help.

  414. In fact, forget words.

  415. Spurgeon said that tears are liquid prayers.

  416. In fact, forget tears.

  417. Do you know the psalmist said Psalm 4?

  418. Consider my sighing.

  419. It's a physiological response to stress and anxiety and circumstances that are overwhelming.

  420. And God even hears our sighing.

  421. And he doesn't just hear, he answers.

  422. He is ninety-three billion light years greater and gooder than what we can imagine.

  423. Here's how I want to end.

  424. Worship team can come.

  425. To say the least.

  426. Another sermon for another day.

  427. But I feel it every day in DC.

  428. You know, everything politicized.

  429. We polarized.

  430. We could be demonized or deified.

  431. We dehumanize.

  432. Like I there's a there's a lot happening.

  433. Throw technology into the mix.

  434. You know, where where is AI, but more significantly, um AGI gonna take us?

  435. And uh we could talk a little eschatology, but I think it's gonna take us places that uh, well, let me say it this way.

  436. We're still eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we're still building the Tower of Babylon, we're still fashioning golden calves.

  437. There's this shaming, blaming, and faming that's happening that kind of brings out the worst of us.

  438. But I also want to remind us that the image of God in me greets the image of God in you.

  439. So I think you have to remember that uh you're God's favorite, you're God's favorite, you're God's favorite, and so is the person you like the least.

  440. So while while cultural things are swirling, and while the future seems more uncertain than it ever has, because of our own innovation, I'm just gonna tell you, I keep going back to what I know that I know.

  441. Only one person lived a sinless life.

  442. His name was Jesus.

  443. Only one person went to Calvary's cross for my sin, and only one person predicted their own resurrection and then pulled it off.

  444. He is still the God who saves, heals, and delivers.

  445. So, whatever mountain you face, I know a name.

  446. Born in Bethlehem, crucified at Calvary, raised on the third day, and seated at the right hand of the Father.

  447. I know a name that turned water into wine, that opened the eyes of a man born blind that fed five thousand with five loaves and two fish.

  448. I know a name that said to Satan, it is written.

  449. Said to sin, it is finished, said to the wind and waves, peace be still, said to a man, four days dead, Lazarus come forth.

  450. I know a name, wonderful counselor, mighty God, Prince of Peace, Son of Man, Son of God, Lamb of God, line of the tribe of Judah, King of kings and Lord of Lords.

  451. He is the ancient of days, he is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

  452. He is the name above all names, the name at which every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

  453. What are you, mighty mountain?

  454. Before Zerubbable, you will become level ground.

  455. Do not despise the day of two-inch dominoes of mustard seed faith.

  456. You do little things like they're big things.

  457. Watch God do some big things like they're little things.

  458. Can't move mountains, but you can plant that mustard seed of faith.

  459. I'm gonna ask you to stand at our campuses, in the room, online.

  460. You take a posture that is right for you.

  461. Could be standing, kneeling, whatever it is.

  462. Can we just posture ourselves before the Lord tonight?

  463. In fact, maybe like this, maybe like this.

  464. Lord, here we are.

  465. Again, Lord, I don't know what you're stirring in our spirits tonight, but God, I pray that you would show up and show off your grace and your power and your mercy and your goodness.

  466. God, we need you, we need you more today than we needed you yesterday, and so Lord, we humble ourselves before you tonight, Almighty God.

  467. We thank you, Lord.

  468. Nothing is too difficult for you, Lord.

  469. We thank you that all things are possible.

  470. So, Lord, we pray into those impossible situations.

  471. You know what it is, you know what it is.

  472. Just begin to give it to the Lord.

  473. It's the diagnosis you got last week, some difficult news, it's a marriage that you aren't sure it's gonna survive.

  474. It's your finances, it's your mental health.

  475. Oh God, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

  476. We put our full faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  477. We begin to lift high your name.

  478. In fact, just begin to praise God, begin to praise God for his healing, for his salvation.

  479. There's a prodigal you've been praying for.

  480. Oh God, bring them back in Jesus' name.

  481. Lord, we put it on the altar tonight.

  482. Some of us feel like we're looking at that temple in ruins with weeds overrun.

  483. It's never too little and it's never too late.

  484. God, we put our full faith in you tonight, and we begin to declare who you are.

  485. We're gonna sing it in a moment, but we begin to declare who you are, that you are who you say you are, and that we are who you say we are.

  486. Don't let anybody label you who didn't make you.

  487. You are the image of God, you're the apple of God's eye.

  488. He knows the hairs on your head, he collects your tears in his bottle.

  489. Your name is tattooed on the palm of his hand.

  490. He loves you.

  491. God, thank you.

  492. We begin to praise you, we begin to praise you for the breakthrough, for the healing, for the reconciliation, Lord, for the tipping point, the turning point.

  493. Oh God, would you move right now?

  494. God, would you begin to move right now in our lives and the lives that we're praying for in this place?

  495. God, would you begin to move in power in Jesus' name?

  496. Amen.

  497. And amen and amen.

  498. Worship team, you come.

  499. Worship, I wrote it down.

  500. Preacher's gonna preach.

  501. Worship is warfare with your circumstances.

  502. Whatever that mountain is, we're gonna begin to worship him.

  503. This is just an all-play tonight.

  504. I mean, if you feel like the altar is a place where you where you just kinda, there's something physically about being at an altar, you come, you come, you come right now.

  505. Don't wait for someone else to come.

  506. If you feel like the altar is a place where just as a little step of faith is a way of saying, Yeah, I'm believing God.

  507. I'm putting it back on the altar.

  508. I'm saying, mountain move.

  509. You come, you come to the altar, we're gonna pray for you.

  510. But right where you are as well, just begin to worship the Lord.

  511. We're gonna do some warfare.

  512. Let's sing it together.

  513. Here we go.
