The smitten shepherd. Boy, pretty important details here in Zechariah
Zechariah 13 chapter mention
-
chapter 13. But before we get into it, God bless everybody.
-
Matthew Miller here from Maranatha Ministries. Let's take a look
-
at this one more time. Let's scrutinize this text. It is, well,
-
it's pretty alarming. Let me say that. The entirety of
-
this chapter is alarming. But the last three verses are
-
doubly so. They are doubly this way. So picking it
-
up in Zechariah 13, verse 7. Awake, O sword, against
-
my shepherd, against the man who is my companion, says
-
the Lord of hosts. Strike the shepherd and the sheep
-
will be scattered. Then I will turn my hand against
-
the little ones. And it shall come to pass in
-
all the land, says the Lord, that two-thirds in it
-
shall be cut off and die. But one-third shall be
-
left in it. I will bring one third through the fire.
-
I will refine them as silver is refined and test
-
them as gold is tested. They will call on my
-
name and I will answer them. I will say, this
-
is my people. And I will answer them and say,
-
this is my people. And each one will say, the
-
Lord is my God. When does this happen? Of course,
-
this happens during the tribulations. This is fulfilled at the
-
relocation event. This is fulfilled in Revelation 7, verses 9-17.
-
That's categorically when this happens. Categorically when it happens. So
-
he is obviously, once again, just like in Matthew 24,
-
where he says there's a tribulation. He calls that tribulation
-
the birth pangs. He calls it Odin in Greek, there
-
in verse 8 of Matthew 24. plainly stating just a
-
few verses later, he says this is tribulation. This is
-
what he's talking about. Then, after the abomination of desolation,
-
the Lord Jesus Christ says what? Then there's great tribulation.
-
So it is the abomination of desolation that begins the
-
great tribulation. It's that simple. It is no other way.
-
That's what the Lord Jesus Christ said. So when we
-
scrutinize this text, we realize some other things here because
-
Bible commentators say that, well, this was already fulfilled, right?
-
Matthew chapter 26, verse 31. Then saith Jesus unto them,
-
All ye shall be offended because of me this night.
-
For it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and
-
the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. Jesus
-
is quoting from these verses. Is this the only time
-
he does it? No. He does it in Mark chapter 14,
-
verse 27. He quotes the same thing. I will smite
-
the shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered. One more time.
-
John 16, verse 32. Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is
-
now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to
-
his own. So here we go again. Three times in
-
the New Testament. If Jesus is not quoting this, he's
-
alluding to it. But one thing is for sure. These
-
three verses, these three verses, they get fulfilled in Revelation
-
chapter 7, verses 9 through 17. Oh, yes, they do. Yes,
-
they do. This is when they get fulfilled. So looking
-
at this, it makes you take pause. It makes you
-
take pause. What happens to the son of perdition once
-
he carries out this abomination of desolation? The Word says
-
45 days after the abomination of desolation, that's what Daniel says,
-
That's what Daniel says. That at the 1,290 day is
-
the abomination of desolation. And then 45 days later, we
-
get our divine intervention from Daniel 7, verse 22. Okay,
-
so all these things are categorically in the Word. When
-
you know the Word, you know what is to come.
-
You know what is to come. So it has long
-
been surmised, and I've said this many, many, many times
-
about the phraseology of the beast from the earth. I've
-
talked about it many times. And we need to jump
-
over there real quick. Let me get there and share
-
with you where you can find this phraseology of the
-
son of perdition. Okay? Okay? the beast from the earth.
-
These exact words are used of Samuel when the witch
-
of Endor rises him from the earth. Oh, yes, it is.
-
Look at the Septuagint. Get you a copy of the
-
Adido Regia manuscript here for the Greek New Testament. Check
-
the witch of Endor. Check the Greek. Oh, yes, it's
-
the same exact phraseology. So it says, Verse 11 of
-
Revelation chapter 13. Then I saw another beast coming up
Revelation 13 chapter mention
-
out of the earth. Same phraseology used by the witch
-
of Endor when she brought up Samuel's spirit. This is
-
literally saying, is this literally saying the sixth seal event
-
God kills the son of perdition. And because he has
-
made a pact with death, Isaiah chapter 28, yes he has.
Isaiah 28 chapter mention
-
Yes he has, Isaiah chapter 28. Because of that event,
Isaiah 28 chapter mention
-
he is resurrected. That's what Revelation chapter 13 verse 11
-
is saying in the Greek. He rises from the earth
-
just like the spirit of Samuel did. So this takes
-
things to the next level when you can scrutinize the
-
Hebrew and the Greek. It will just blow you away.
-
It'll blow you away. So looking back at this, it's
-
imperative that she realized that eschatology is isochronal. Now look,
-
I don't care what your theologians say. That's what God says.
-
God says in the book of Ecclesiastes, time is isochronal.
-
This is why events seem to echo through the bands
-
of time. That's why. That's why all the prophecies about
-
the temple being destroyed was fulfilled multiple times. That's why.
-
And when you look at this, this is what it's saying.
-
It's saying that he gets killed on the sixth seal event.
-
And he is resurrected. He's resurrected. Because, of course, this
-
son of perdition has accepted the deal from the devil
-
that Jesus Christ rejected. He's accepted that deal. He has
-
all the authority of the devil, of the dragon. Revelation
Revelation 13 chapter mention
-
chapter 13 categorically says that. It's just that your theologians,
-
your preachers, your pastors, your Sunday school teachers, they reject
-
the word. They don't believe it. when you see what's
-
going on here, it is easy to surmise what this
-
is saying. Let me read it for you one more time. Awake,
-
O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is
-
my companion. The great apostasy takes place from inside the church.
-
It is not Muslims. A Muslim cannot be apostate. A
-
Buddhist cannot be apostate. An atheist cannot be apostate. A
-
Satanist can't be apostate. You have to be a Christian
-
to be apostate. Okay? This is categorically saying he was
-
a Christian. This is what the entire New Testament says.
-
He's apostate. When you know that, the man of sin,
-
before he accepts the deal with the devil, before he
-
performs the abominable Passover desolation, he is a Christian. So,
-
Let's pick it up one more time. Awake, O sword,
-
against my shepherd, against the man who is my companion,
-
says the Lord of hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the
-
sheep will be scattered. Then I will turn my hand
-
against the little ones. Look. There's a whole lot of
-
eschatology that most of you probably have rejected and don't
-
even realize it. The war in heaven is absolutely caused
-
by the birth of children, by the miraculous conception of children.
-
That's what Isaiah chapter 26 plainly says. So with that
Isaiah 26 chapter mention
-
in mind, with that in mind, These 45 days before operation,
-
eagle's wings can take place. And there's a reason why
-
that is. Because these 45 days have to go by.
-
So just take note. We're going to keep reading verse 8.
-
And it shall come to pass in all the land,
-
says the Lord, that two-thirds of it shall be cut
-
off and die, but one-third of it shall be left
-
in it. The son of perdition and his clergy that
-
work for him are going to make a whole lot
-
of martyrs out of us who have been born again.
-
They won't tolerate the word. They won't tolerate it. They'll
-
make martyrs out of us because we hold to the
-
word and reject their traditions. We reject their theological myths.
-
And we hold to the word. That's exactly what the
-
word says in Revelation chapter 6 verse 9. Revelation chapter
-
22 verses 18 and 19 tells you how they do it.
-
Tells you what they do to God's word. Verse 9.
-
I will bring one third through the fire. One third
-
of those who have been born again will survive. And
-
test them as gold is tested. They will call on
-
my name and I will answer them. I will say,
-
this is my people. And each one will say, the
-
Lord is my God. These things I'm reading from the word.
-
Are true. They're true. This is God speaking. In the
-
first person. This is not Zacharias speaking. This is God himself.
-
Now if you've never heard these things before. You need
-
to recalculate your beliefs on the end times. They need
-
to align with the word. In every corner. In every aspect.
-
In every way shape and form. They need to conform.
-
To the word. Three very short. Simple verses. Try to subconsciously.
-
Convince yourself of the word. If you do this, those
-
of you that's not been born again, this is the
-
best way to stir up the spirit because it is
-
the Holy Spirit that wrote the word of you being
-
baptized in the Holy Spirit. So I hope you enjoyed this.
-
I hope you were edified. Those of you who have
-
been born again, if you have any encouraging words or prayers,
-
please put them in the comments. Please like and share
-
the video. Please subscribe to the channel. I only ask
-
this of those of you that have been baptized in
-
the Holy Spirit. Those of you who have not, I
-
ask nothing of you. Till next time, God bless, Godspeed.
