  13. And I want to deal with this for the next little bit on faith for the now.

  14. When uh Sister Pat Harrison was with us.

  15. She said by the Spirit of the Lord to us.

  16. She said, listen quickly and quietly to what I'm saying.

  17. And understand this.

  18. I am a now God.

  19. I understand the now because I walk in the now.

  20. So when you listen to me in what I'm saying, I will give you the now.

  21. What needs to be in the now and how it needs to be.

  22. Oh hallelujah.

  23. So listen carefully, quietly, and quickly.

  24. About the now.

  25. What I'm saying about the now.

  26. Oh hallelujah.

  27. She said, you can't move forward hanging on the old, you move forward by coming into the now.

  28. What I'm saying to you about the now.

  29. Oh, hallelujah.

  30. Twelve times we were told the Lord would give us the now.

  31. Oh, hallelujah.

  32. Or we were to walk in the now.

  33. Faith for the now.

  34. Fe para el ahora.

  35. Say it out loud.

  36. Faith for the now.

  37. Hallelujah.

  38. Faith for the now.

  39. Hallelujah.

  40. Glory to God.

  41. There's always a place for believing for what's coming.

  42. There's always a place for being thankful for what was.

  43. But what about the now?

  44. Amen.

  45. You know, there are people that I'm this way.

  46. I'm a very nostalgic person.

  47. Emotion to past events.

  48. Oh, hallelujah.

  49. Amen.

  50. I can remember what Christmas was like at my grandmother's.

  51. And man, for where I was, that was a beautiful time.

  52. But you know, I look back at the gifts I received then.

  53. They were kind of lame.

  54. There wasn't that much to them.

  55. My grandmother bought me a New York Jets football helmet.

  56. I've never been to New York.

  57. I didn't care anything about the New York Jets.

  58. But she thought grandson.

  59. Football helmet.

  60. New York Jets.

  61. I do not know what happened to that football helmet.

  62. I knew if I wore it around my friends, I'd get beat up.

  63. Texas takes their football serious.

  64. Amen.

  65. Remember the old commercial about the guy, you know, he's he's there and he's from he got bought something from New York City.

  66. And the guy goes, New York City.

  67. Get a rope.

  68. Right?

  69. See?

  70. Well, here's what I'm trying to say.

  71. There are good memories.

  72. Right?

  73. But there's more.

  74. I say there's more.

  75. You can get frustrated by wanting to move into what's coming.

  76. Being in the now.

  77. And here's what happens.

  78. If you lose the power of the impartation of the past, and you lose the power of what's coming.

  79. Because we're designed to function in the now.

  80. Amen.

  81. More is lost through indecision than no decision.

  82. More is lost through indecision than no decision.

  83. My pastor said it this way.

  84. I would rather step out and fail.

  85. Than sit and do nothing and miss God.

  86. Amen.

  87. God always honors action.

  88. He always honors effort.

  89. It's always right to want to do something for God now.

  90. Some of the frustration that people feel.

  91. Because they're not doing what they need to be doing now.

  92. They're not taking steps now.

  93. Yes, pray about it.

  94. Yes, believe God.

  95. But do something now.

  96. Take a step now.

  97. Make yourself available now.

  98. Amen.

  99. Don't just sit in indecision.

  100. In 2 Kings 7.

  101. Now, verse 1 tells us we're not going to read that, but remember the man of God said, Tomorrow.

  102. About this time there's going to be abundance.

  103. Now he's saying that in a city.

  104. No, they're eating donkeys' heads and dovedung.

  105. They're boiling children and eating them.

  106. And he says tomorrow there's going to be so much abundance.

  107. We're going to sell it at a discount.

  108. Is that right?

  109. Now some didn't believe that.

  110. Some didn't believe it.

  111. This one man, this executive, he didn't believe it.

  112. Hallelujah.

  113. But notice the word of the Lord was tomorrow is going to be abundant.

  114. Every word that God gives requires that somebody obediently act on the word that God gave.

  115. In the now.

  116. There are people that have prophecies this thick in their desk drawers.

  117. That they've never acted on.

  118. God said it.

  119. God promised it.

  120. God prophesied it.

  121. They've never acted.

  122. They're waiting on God.

  123. They're waiting on the red sea to open.

  124. They're waiting on the wall.

  125. They're waiting on a burning bush.

  126. The red sea did not open.

  127. Until Moses stretched out his rock.

  128. The walls did not fall till they marched around them.

  129. Jesus said the mountain will not move till you speak to it.

  130. You do not get results without sin actually.

  131. And so God said this abundance is coming.

  132. And then verse three.

  133. Are we just sitting here?

  134. Waiting to die.

  135. Right?

  136. Do you see this?

  137. In the middle of this issue, they're asking a question.

  138. Hallelujah.

  139. Do you see that?

  140. They said, you know, they said if we enter the city, well the famine's in there.

  141. And we'll die there.

  142. If we sit here, we're gonna die.

  143. If we go to the camp of the enemy, they'll kill us.

  144. We'll just die like if we're just sitting here.

  145. So watch, let's do something.

  146. Because where we're going, where we could go is no better than where we're at.

  147. God has said tomorrow there will be abundance.

  148. Right?

  149. And then he picks up four men.

  150. Saying, Why are we just sitting here till we die?

  151. What God has said will always spark somebody to act.

  152. Somebody will act.

  153. Notice what he said.

  154. Verse 5, and they rose up in the twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians.

  155. And when they were come to the part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

  156. They rose up.

  157. They rose up.

  158. Everybody say, they rose up.

  159. They got up and moved.

  160. They rose up and went to the camp of the Syrians.

  161. And when they got there, nobody was there.

  162. Now notice.

  163. Verse 6.

  164. It starts off with the word four.

  165. Empieza diciendo the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, a noise of horses, the noise of great hosts, and they said to one another, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to come upon us.

  166. El Señor había hecho que el campamento de los Sirios oyera un estruendo de carros, ruido de caballos y estrépito de gran ejército.

  167. Here's the question.

  168. Who moved?

  169. Who moved?

  170. Who did?

  171. These four men got up and moved.

  172. And as they moved, the enemy heard something.

  173. As they moved, it says they moved, and God made the Syrians hear the sound of three armies.

  174. Would they have heard that sound if these men had not moved?

  175. God can do anything.

  176. But he's limited by our movement.

  177. He's limited by what I will do in the now.

  178. What you want God to do for you, you've got to act on it now.

  179. Amen.

  180. The time of going to God and saying, I want to be better at whatever is over.

  181. I'm just gonna be better today.

  182. By faith, I'm better at it.

  183. Many are looking at what was.

  184. Looking back at what was lo que antes era.

  185. How much better it was.

  186. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes that's not wise.

  187. It says, Why do you say the former days were better than thee?

  188. That's not wise.

  189. The preacher that will tell you to look back and how wonderful it was.

  190. He's mixed up.

  191. Because if we're living in the last days, we're living in the best time ever.

  192. Jesus is about to return.

  193. We're living in the best time ever.

  194. Gotta act on it now.

  195. I gotta act on it now.

  196. Many are looking and waiting for something that's coming.

  197. God is in the now.

  198. Amen.

  199. Oh, there's this coming, move of God coming, revival coming, awakening coming.

  200. That may be or it may not be, but what are we going to do about the now?

  201. See, the thing is when you go to a restaurant and you're hungry.

  202. You're in the restaurant.

  203. You placed your order.

  204. But the hunger's still there.

  205. The hunger's still there.

  206. Amen.

  207. You can talk about that hamburger's coming.

  208. That burrito's coming.

  209. That hot dog's coming.

  210. That steak this thick is coming.

  211. But your hunger doesn't leave.

  212. But until you sit down.

  213. At the plate.

  214. And you eat it in the now.

  215. Hallelujah.

  216. Hallelujah.

  217. Say it out loud, I want what is now.

  218. Gloria.

  219. God is in the now.

  220. What was was wonderful.

  221. I say, what was was wonderful.

  222. But you can't let that nostalgia keep you back there.

  223. Because that'll make you think that just what everybody did back then is what brings what God wants.

  224. There are principles of the word that never changed.

  225. But God is not tied to methods.

  226. He's tied to his word.

  227. And the criteria for receiving what he said in his word was will you believe me?

  228. Listen, the denomination I grew up in, we were tied to all night prayer meetings.

  229. All night prayer meetings.

  230. And there's nothing wrong with praying all night.

  231. Absolutely nothing.

  232. We saw some wonderful things.

  233. But we also saw people get over big into error.

  234. Because they thought it was spiritual to pray all night.

  235. And so people started clucking like chickens.

  236. And barking like dogs.

  237. I'm serious.

  238. We had a sister in those all night prayer meetings.

  239. We started walking around and you could hear her.

  240. Just like a chicken.

  241. And we called her sister chicken.

  242. Sister chicken.

  243. Right?

  244. Amen.

  245. Now was she was she a sincere woman?

  246. Yes.

  247. But she was, she was in something that she thought was going to bring the power of God.

  248. And so every church in that denomination.

  249. Every month they had an all night prayer meeting.

  250. And as you walked around the church, you'd see a lot of people laying before the Lord.

  251. And they were not speaking.

  252. Or moving.

  253. And they were not in a trance.

  254. They were asleep.

  255. They were speaking in the gift of snore.

  256. Hallelujah.

  257. Now, but here's what they thought.

  258. If I want to move of God, I've got to pray all night.

  259. I've got to do certain things.

  260. God said, I will visit the hungry hearts.

  261. I'll visit people that want what I'm doing now.

  262. Oh, hallelujah.

  263. Oh, hallelujah.

  264. Do you see this?

  265. When God started moving in the early part of the 20th century.

  266. The early 1900s.

  267. We know the Azusa Street outpouring.

  268. There are a lot of our Pentecostal denominations.

  269. Assemblies of God.

  270. The Church of God.

  271. The Church of God in Christ.

  272. All these wonderful organizations maravillosas that got tied to methods.

  273. And when you hear people talk about that time, they talk about the man sticking his head in an orange crate.

  274. Sticking his head in an orange crate.

  275. No, we need more people that wanted what he wanted in the now.

  276. He so wanted God to move that he didn't want any of him to be seen.

  277. So he got down behind a pulpit and put his head in a box.

  278. But it's got to be now.

  279. That's wonderful.

  280. That's not where we're.

  281. It's not where we're at now.

  282. What God is doing now is what we want.

  283. Hallelujah.

  284. Say I want the now.

  285. Glory.

  286. What was wonderful, what was is wonderful.

  287. What's coming is powerful.

  288. What about now?

  289. What about now?

  290. There are people, there are organizations now.

  291. That are holding conventions and holding conferences that used to be full of the power of God.

  292. They used to be full of manifestations of the Spirit.

  293. And they're not anymore.

  294. They're just people getting together.

  295. Because it's just something that they've always done.

  296. Oh, hallelujah.

  297. Amen.

  298. And people will talk.

  299. I was there.

  300. I was in those meetings.

  301. And people will talk to me, oh, you remember how it used to be.

  302. I do remember how it used to be, but here's what I'm going to tell you.

  303. That season is over.

  304. What about now?

  305. Oh, I wish it could be like it was when Brother Hagen was here.

  306. It will never again be like it was when Brother Hagen was here because that was his season.

  307. He did what he told him to do then.

  308. And we've got to tell people don't just replicate what I'm doing.

  309. Get a hold of what God wants you to do now.

  310. Hallelujah.

  311. So what we had was great.

  312. What do we do now?

  313. Hallelujah.

  314. Look at John chapter 4.

    John 4 chapter mention

  315. I want you this morning to set your faith on now.

  316. Oh, hallelujah.

  317. Say out loud, my faith.

  318. Set on now.

  319. John chapter 4.

    John 4 chapter mention

  320. Juan capitulo 4.

  321. And we want to begin in verse 34.

  322. Jesus said to them, My me is to do the will of him that sent me and finish his work.

  323. So he says, My desire.

  324. Amen, my fulfillment, comes from doing what God wants me to do now.

  325. Right now.

  326. Amen.

  327. Every gift.

  328. Every calling in your life is for the now.

  329. It's for the now.

  330. Or this is what God called me to do, then it's for now.

  331. If you're learning, it's for now.

  332. If you've never done it before, it's for now.

  333. Oh hallelujah.

  334. Amen.

  335. Very often we hear so often we hear this kind of thing.

  336. Well, God has hidden you.

  337. I believe that to an extent.

  338. But I also believe you don't stay hidden forever.

  339. God wants you to do something now.

  340. Hallelujah.

  341. Hallelujah.

  342. Then he goes on, notice and he says, Do not say there are four months, and then the harvest.

  343. I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, and we could say now, for they are already white to harvest.

  344. This harvest represents anything God wants you to do.

  345. Anything God wants you to have.

  346. What's he saying?

  347. Don't say wait.

  348. Don't say let's hold on.

  349. Let's go do it now.

  350. Let's go do it right now.

  351. Why do we sit here till we die?

  352. Let's go do something now.

  353. Amen.

  354. Let's step out, and if we fail, at least we stepped out trying to do what God wanted.

  355. Oh, hallelujah.

  356. See, back in the days of the voice of healing.

  357. Here's why they would break people's crutches.

  358. Break their canes.

  359. I need you to do something now.

  360. I need you to act in your faith now.

  361. Amen.

  362. Amen.

  363. I'm not saying that's the way we always do things.

  364. But understand the mindset.

  365. Act on it now.

  366. If you believe you're healed, act now.

  367. Amen.

  368. If you believe you're getting out of that wheelchair, start working to get up now.

  369. Right?

  370. Now see what people did is they took that to the extreme.

  371. And if you use medicine or you use a crutch or you use a cane where you're not, you know you're not believing God.

  372. That's not true.

  373. But he does expect us to do something now.

  374. Don't keep saying it's coming.

  375. One day.

  376. Someday.

  377. Now the fields are white now.

  378. When's the time to act on your faith?

  379. When's the time to act in faith?

  380. Now's the temple in fear.

  381. Set your faith on now.

  382. Pongan su fe in la ora.

  383. Verse 36: He that reaps receives wages and gathers fruit into life eternal.

  384. That both he that sows and he that reap may rejoice together.

  385. And herein is that saying true: one sows and another reaps.

  386. Now don't lose sight of this.

  387. There's one that sows, and one that reaps.

  388. And there's one that reaps.

  389. Those in the past, their job was to plant the seed.

  390. Our job is to reap the harvest.

  391. Somebody's got to be the harvest generation.

  392. We can't keep putting that off.

  393. My pastor ministered a message called the dimensions of faith.

  394. And he talked about Hebrews 11.

  395. The dimensions of faith.

  396. And he talked about Hebrews 11.

  397. Where it says that those that went before the heroes of faith that they could not be made perfect and complete without us.

  398. So think about all those people.

  399. David David all of the heroes of faith.

  400. It's wonderful what they did.

  401. But the Holy Spirit said they were not complete without us.

  402. In the now.

  403. What they did was great.

  404. We would not have a move of God without them.

  405. They were sowing a seed.

  406. Oh, hallelujah.

  407. Everything you've received in your life from God is the seed that you should be harvesting now.

  408. Every impartation, everything God's done for you to walk in it now.

  409. All those years you said under good Bible teaching.

  410. All those moves of the spirit that you saw.

  411. In the now.

  412. It's not just so I would have good stories.

  413. What we have is not history.

  414. It's present action.

  415. Notice what he said.

  416. Verse 28 or 38, excuse me.

  417. I sent you to reap that whereon you bestowed no labor.

  418. Other men labored and you've entered into their labors.

  419. Notice.

  420. We gotta move into the now.

  421. And listen, you do whatever you want to do with this.

  422. My prayer, my heart cry.

  423. Every time I seek God about our city.

  424. Is God those seeds my pastor sow.

  425. That seed that he sowed.

  426. Don't let any of it die in the ground.

  427. I need to do my part to harvest it.

  428. That's my inheritance.

  429. It's not natural things.

  430. That we're gonna harvest in the name of Jesus.

  431. And you can let minor insignificant things stop you from moving into the now.

  432. Well, I wish it was this way, and I wish it was that way, and I wish it was another way.

  433. Complaining moves you out of the now.

  434. Because when a person complains, they're saying, I liked it better this way, I don't like it this way.

  435. But everything about the now requires that I move into it.

  436. Hallelujah.

  437. Reap the harvest.

  438. We're not just to replicate what they did.

  439. I had a friend.

  440. And he was a friend.

  441. And every time he would minister, he'd start acting like Brother Hagen.

  442. And he'd do this when he hacía esto cuando caminava.

  443. Right?

  444. And he said, Glory to God.

  445. He decided.

  446. Hallelujah.

  447. Hallelujah.

  448. Woo! Woo!

  449. Right?

  450. Well, he could act like Brother Hagen.

  451. But Brother Hagen was alive then.

  452. God already had a brother Hagen.

  453. He didn't need another brother Hagen.

  454. He needed that guy to be who he was.

  455. Are you following me?

  456. Amen.

  457. Amen.

  458. Listen, there are times I can feel the spirit of my pastor on me so strong.

  459. That I think if I look in the mirror, I'm going to see Happy Caldwell.

  460. But I understand something.

  461. I will never be him.

  462. I have my own anointing.

  463. I have my own calling.

  464. What's in me from him cannot help but come out.

  465. But I'm not him.

  466. He has run part of his race.

  467. And he's running the rest of it.

  468. He's there running the race.

  469. He can come on, you run your race.

  470. You have done what God wants you to get done.

  471. And the day will come that we all cross the finish line in heaven.

  472. And we get to talk to everybody that went ahead of us.

  473. And we get to share stories about how we finished our race.

  474. Don't worry about how much the apostle Paul did.

  475. Don't worry about how much this one did and that one did.

  476. What are you supposed to do?

  477. Yeah, but they reach thousands.

  478. Am I helping you?

  479. We're the harvest generation.

  480. And so you know my friend, he would twiddle his thumb.

  481. Woo!

  482. But he's not in ministry today.

  483. Because he tried to be brother Hagen.

  484. I used to teach a minister's class every week.

  485. And I would say this is a good idea.

  486. God doesn't need another brother Hagen.

  487. He doesn't need another T.

  488. He needs one more you.

  489. You might learn from them.

  490. My life has been unalterably impacted by those men.

  491. But I'm not Kenneth Copeland.

  492. Although he radically transformed my life through what he taught.

  493. Because that's not the anointing on my life.

  494. I could step up here every day and act like Rod Parsley.

  495. And we're going to believe God.

  496. We're looking for that day.

  497. When he slides that long, lean Galilean leg over that white stallion.

  498. And comes back for the church of the Lord Jesus.

  499. Oh, if you believe it, shout somebody.

  500. And it would not feed your spirit.

  501. Because God's got one of them in Columbus, Ohio.

  502. That's doing great things for God in Columbus.

  503. God looks across this church.

  504. And he says, What are you going to do in Little Rock, Arkansas?

  505. Amen.

  506. I had a friend and he was a white guy.

  507. And he would start preaching.

  508. And he saw what kind of suits Jakes wore.

  509. And he bought suits like T.D.

  510. Jakes.

  511. He didn't have a microphone.

  512. And he he always had to preach with a handheld.

  513. And he'd act just like Brother Jakes.

  514. Get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready.

  515. Right?

  516. See?

  517. Amen.

  518. Amen.

  519. Nobody got fed.

  520. That wasn't the anointing on him.

  521. He was just trying to replicate something.

  522. That's not what God wants from us.

  523. He wants us to be in the now of what he wants us to do.

  524. Man, you you hear people like that preacher.

  525. Rod Parsley is a word smith.

  526. Rob Parsley is un Smith.

  527. Amen.

  528. Man, when he tells the story of Daniel and the lion's den.

  529. Daniel entro in this foso de Leonis.

  530. And he grabbed him a puff of that lion's mane.

  531. And he pillowed his head on that lion's mane.

  532. Because God was on his side.

  533. Hallelujah.

  534. And then he'll hold his Bible up.

  535. Four better men and women than you and I have pillowed their head on this book.

  536. Amen.

  537. Amen.

  538. In their dying day.

  539. And that's wonderful.

  540. But you can't feed people replicating what somebody else did.

  541. Hallelujah.

  542. However great it was, it was just the seed.

  543. The seed is not greater than the harvest.

  544. We respect, we honor, we give due respect to what went before us.

  545. Many in looking and yearning for what was will miss what God's doing.

  546. Say it out loud, I want the now.

  547. It says, one generation passeth and another generation cometh, and the earth abides forever.

  548. One generation passes, and another generation comes.

  549. Every generation has to do what they're called to do now.

  550. See, if God brought you to this church, you're called to do what God's doing here now.

  551. Your now is now.

  552. And we were thinking on it real hard.

  553. And uh we had a minister in the church we were at came from Detroit, Michigan.

  554. So there's the answer of can anything good come from Detroit, Michigan?

  555. And I was playing in the praise team.

  556. And she was sitting on the front row.

  557. And you'd been saved, what, maybe a year?

  558. Almost.

  559. Minister was ministering, he stopped.

  560. And he said to her, He said, Your testimony will go around the world.

  561. And you'll touch people with the goodness of God.

  562. He just kept ministry.

  563. Well, we eventually got married.

  564. And of course, we were into what God wanted us to do.

  565. Now you fast forward a few years.

  566. We're pastoring in DeSoto, we've been there for two years.

  567. And we had a minister in the church.

  568. And they were ministering and they stopped and began to speak to us.

  569. And she said to me, she said, God will give you a vision for the city, which he did.

  570. But he's going to give you a vision for more than that.

  571. And then he said to Michelle, He said, And God will take your testimony on airways.

  572. She said, excuse me.

  573. And we've seen that.

  574. We've seen that.

  575. Pressure, no problem.

  576. Oh, that touched, I don't know how many people.

  577. We still run into people today that see her and they go, pressure, no problem.

  578. Amen.

  579. She's known for pressure, no problem.

  580. We have the book in the media center.

  581. Pressure, no problem.

  582. That was what God was doing then.

  583. God moved on.

  584. What's he doing now?

  585. For now we're entering into that time, I'm gonna take your testimony on airwaves.

  586. One month ago, she went to Memphis and recorded her testimony for a company called Dela Fe.

  587. And uh that's what they do.

  588. Their whole ministry centered around people's testimonies.

  589. In one month, she's had 116,000 people look at her testimony.

  590. Why?

  591. We're hooked up to what God's doing now.

  592. What is God doing now?

  593. So he said one generation passes.

  594. Another generation comes.

  595. Folks, ever how old we are presently, we gotta be involved in the now.

  596. You know, as much as you want things to never change.

  597. It's gonna be different in six months than it is today.

  598. It's what we do with the now.

  599. I promise you, if we if we ask you and you were truthful, everybody's got one.

  600. Why?

  601. Because the now never stops.

  602. It just keeps coming.

  603. It just keeps coming.

  604. I've got CDs of pastor friends of mine that said, I'll never be on that computer.

  605. Because it overtakes you.

  606. The now always overtakes you.

  607. When you set your faith on the now, you receive in the now.

  608. Oh, hallelujah.

  609. Do you see this?

  610. Look at Joshua 14.

  611. You're gonna walk out today.

  612. I'm setting my faith on now.

  613. Joshua 14, verse 10.

    Joshua 14:10

  614. And let's let's read verse 10 first.

  615. This is uh Caleb speaking, and he says, Now behold, the Lord has kept me alive as he said these 45 years, since the Lord spake this word unto Moses while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness.

  616. And now I am this day fourscore and five years old.

  617. I'm eighty-five years old.

  618. God has kept me alive for now.

  619. Folks, there's so much there.

  620. There's so much there.

  621. God kept you.

  622. For now.

  623. Now I can say this, and I'm not, listen, I'm I'm not just being uh what's the word?

  624. I'm I'm I'm not just being um theatrical.

  625. There were things that you went through in your life that if we could say it this way, you should not have made it.

  626. But God kept you alive.

  627. For now.

  628. If you're breathing today, there's a reason you're breathing.

  629. There's a purpose for you being where you're at.

  630. You didn't just see this ministry on TV or see the sign, there's a reason you're here.

  631. Because God's got something for you now.

  632. God's got something for you today.

  633. And he kept me alive.

  634. Oh, hallelujah! I remember when I was away from the Lord and I fell in with some not so nice people and they got mad at me and decided they were gonna finish the job.

  635. And in a field in Dowhart, Texas.

  636. They were kicking me.

  637. They had a baseball bat and they were gonna do me in.

  638. And at three o'clock in the morning, the Lord woke my mother up in Greenup, Kentucky.

  639. And said, You pray for your son because the devil's trying to kill him.

  640. But she started praying and they decided to let me live.

  641. That's not lost on me.

  642. I can't be moved by what others think.

  643. I can't be moved by what others feel.

  644. You saved my life for a reason and it's for the now.

  645. I understand that spiritually.

  646. But I understand in that moment you could have lost my life.

  647. My life was given back to me.

  648. My life is not my own.

  649. I don't have a choice.

  650. It belongs to God.

  651. He gave it to me.

  652. We gotta operate in the now.

  653. So he said, You preserve me alive.

  654. You preserve me alive.

  655. There are people on the sound of my voice, you got diagnoses that took other people out.

  656. But God preserved you to be a testimony now.

  657. When you look in the Bible at the man called Methuselah, who lived to be 969 years of age.

  658. The Bible says he was a testimony of the goodness of God of As long as he lived, it was evidence of God's grace.

  659. When he died, the flood came.

  660. Every time somebody looks at you, and they know what you were diagnosed with, they know what they felt, but here you are alive and well, believing God now.

  661. That's evidence that God exists.

  662. And we won't take the time to read all this verbatim.

  663. He said, So here's what I want.

  664. You still want it that I've waited 45 years to get back into the now.

  665. As I was 45 years ago.

  666. Yeah, but Pastor, I got behind.

  667. I didn't do everything God wanted me to do.

  668. Yet you haven't done everything God wanted you to do yet.

  669. Do this real quick, breathe in.

  670. Breathe out.

  671. Now help me with it.

  672. Go like this.

  673. Breathe out.

  674. Here's my question.

  675. Are you breathing?

  676. Are you alive?

  677. Are you alive?

  678. Are you in the now?

  679. Then it's not what God wanted you to do.

  680. It's what God wants you to do.

  681. Amen.

  682. Amen.

  683. I was looking at a man one time and he told me how much he had squandered everything that God wanted him to do.

  684. And I said, brother, the Bible says it's better to be a live dog than a dead lion.

  685. It's better to feel like a little dog that nobody wants and be doing what God said.

  686. Dr.

  687. Lester Somerall would say this.

  688. He said, God, whatever you're doing, in my time on the earth, let me be right in the middle of it.

  689. Hallelujah.

  690. And and he was he was a part, he was a part of that initial outpouring.

  691. He was a part of the healing revival.

  692. He was a part of the charismatic renewal.

  693. He was a part of the word of faith.

  694. And if he was alive today, he'd be right in the middle of what God's doing now.

  695. I don't want to be a part of a bunch of settlers.

  696. Settlers.

  697. People that are just settled.

  698. Just go into a place and build a house and then not gonna go any further.

  699. You've got things to do for God.

  700. You can't stop where you're at.

  701. You can't quit.

  702. You gotta keep moving.

  703. What God has put in you, the world needs to hear.

  704. I don't ever think I'll touch the world.

  705. But you can teach a class here.

  706. You can disciple somebody here.

  707. Amen.

  708. You can be in the now.

  709. Oh, this is important.

  710. Because what you think about what God has said to you about you.

  711. If you think about that wrong, you think about everything God wants to do wrong.

  712. We're not cutting anything off.

  713. The integral part of faith is believing you have received.

  714. But we're done believing we have received in this sense.

  715. And say, I believe I've received.

  716. We're moving like this.

  717. I believe I have received.

  718. I have it now.

  719. It's mine now.

  720. I'm saying you do whatever you want with what I'm gonna tell you.

  721. Before we leave, I'm gonna lay hands on those that want it.

  722. You're gonna get healed today.

  723. You're gonna walk out of here healed today.

  724. Not next week, not six months from now.

  725. And we're gonna receive now.

  726. Your hands are laid on you.

  727. You will receive a tangible healing anointing.

  728. And it'll all be reversed.

  729. I know by the Spirit of God.

  730. I know they have said it's advancing.

  731. This day, but this morning shall reverse course regression shall begin.

  732. Ah, healing is now.

  733. Look at Acts 2, this is our final verse.

  734. God's preparing us for something.

  735. I put great honor on the people that have went before me.

  736. I'm only standing on their shoulders.

  737. So when I say what was, I'm not telling you that we don't honor that.

  738. If you don't honor those that went before you, you'll never move into what you're supposed to do.

  739. Here's what I'm saying.

  740. We don't idolise what was.

  741. We understand we gotta move into now.

  742. I mean, folks, you know there was a time when they told you that smoking cigarettes was good for you.

  743. Yeah!

  744. Nine out of ten doctors smoke camels.

  745. And if you really didn't want it to hurt you, you just smoke lucky strike.

  746. But how many know even when they were telling you it didn't hurt you?

  747. It was hurting you.

  748. You don't believe that today.

  749. Something's coming, something's coming.

  750. When do we get in it?

  751. Amen.

  752. You can go to the ocean and watch the waves come in.

  753. Oh, that'd be great to be in.

  754. That'd be wonderful.

  755. That's great.

  756. You gotta get out of the chair and go get in the water.

  757. Every year our family used to go to Tennessee for vacation.

  758. Maybe six.

  759. And you know, back in that day, the deep end of a swimming pool was 15 feet.

  760. It's actually the deep end.

  761. Right?

  762. Now I'm not suggesting this.

  763. But just when you see this.

  764. My mother was always talking about how she wanted me to learn to swim.

  765. So she made the mistake of going back to the room and leaving my dad at the pool.

  766. He waited till mom was gone.

  767. He said, You want to learn to swim?

  768. Yeah.

  769. He threw me in the deep end of the pool.

  770. I will never forget these words.

  771. Swim or drown, boy.

  772. Now again, I don't suggest that.

  773. But here's my point.

  774. But in his wrong way of thinking, you're never gonna swim if you don't get in the water.

  775. Now don't do that.

  776. Right?

  777. But mom came back and I was dog paddling.

  778. What did you do?

  779. He said he wanted him to swim.

  780. I mean, I almost died, but still.

  781. The now.

  782. If you don't ever get in the pool, you can't ever understand what God wants you to do.

  783. And verse 17.

  784. And it will come to pass in the last day, says God, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

  785. Every generation.

  786. Male, female, homes, mujeres, in the now in the hora.

  787. Very often people quote that and they quote it just in the generation coming.

  788. Yeah, our sons and our daughters.

  789. And our old men and are you following me?

  790. That means that our mature ladies are not exempt either.

  791. Every generation went in the now.

  792. The Lord said something to me.

  793. He said, none of us ever get to just hang it up and say, I'm gonna leave that to them.

  794. We don't get to do that.

  795. If you're breathing, you're part of the now.

  796. Part of the now generation.

  797. Paul wrote to Timothy and he said.

  798. To the older men he said, we need you.

  799. Because you have wisdom.

  800. He said to the younger men, he said, We need you because you have strength and you have you have energy.

  801. He wrote Timothy and he said, I'm so glad that I see the same faith that was in your mother and in your grandmother, and now I see it in you.

  802. Paul said, You need to take what I'm teaching you.

  803. And you need to commit it to other faithful people.

  804. And what does that mean?

  805. Now watch, I taught you in the now that we were in.

  806. You go and teach in the now that you're in.

  807. And they'll turn around and teach others in the now that they are in.

  808. But we're going to set our faith on now.

  809. We're going to set our faith on now.

  810. Amen.

  811. Now I don't know who needs what.

  812. But here's what I know.

  813. My faith is set on now.

  814. I want us to receive now.

  815. Amen.

  816. That oppression that you've been battling with.

  817. It goes now.

  818. Folks, I ministered to a person standing right here in this church.

  819. They came to me and they said, I'm hearing voices.

  820. I'm seeing things in my house.

  821. And they told me what they had done.

  822. And they said, Watch, they said, I've been to church after church in this city.

  823. And every minister has told me they can't help me.

  824. And with tears they said, Can you help me?

  825. But you've got to do what I'm telling you.

  826. First of all, we've got to repent for opening this door.

  827. Then we gotta shut the door and not open it no more.

  828. I said, Will you do that?

  829. She said, Yes, I'll do that.

  830. She repented.

  831. And I said, Now here's what I'm gonna do.

  832. I'm gonna lay hands on you.

  833. I'm gonna tell that devil to leave you.

  834. And not come back and it's gonna go and not come back.

  835. Are you following me?

  836. There are people all across this city that are going to churches and they're hearing, we can't help you.

  837. They're coming in the now and going home the same in the now.

  838. Every time we come to church, the potential is there for change in my life.

  839. I just gotta come in the belief in the now.

  840. I laid hands on her and I simply said, I didn't yell, I didn't get like.

  841. Your body's gonna be healed now.

  842. Hallelujah.

  843. Amen.

  844. Let's just prepare ourselves.

  845. Just pray in the Holy Ghost.

  846. Hallelujah.

  847. Just pray in the Holy Ghost.
