  1. Hello, welcome to the Faith Builders Broadcast.

  2. I am so grateful that you have taken time to join us today for this edition of our broadcast.

  3. We're excited about what God is showing us concerning this subject of healing assured, which we've been on over the last number of programs.

  4. Before we get into the program, I want to invite you out to Faith Builders Church right here in Little Rock at 11620 Rainwood Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.

  5. Listen, we're one of Little Rock's great churches proclaiming the Word of God, watching the Holy Spirit move throughout all of our services, seeing lives changed, people's lives being transformed by the power of the Word of God, people being healed in their bodies, people receiving reports from the doctor, going back to the doctor, and their body is whole and well-documented reports of victory over sickness and disease.

  6. We have a complete complement of programs for your families.

  7. We have uh classes for your children, classes for your uh teenage students.

  8. Uh we are a bilingual ministry, uh one church, two languages.

  9. We're believing God for great things in uh the lives of his people, and we want your family to be a part of it.

  10. Our service times are Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

  11. and Wednesday evening at 7 throughout the month.

  12. Uh on Sunday evenings, we have various uh services going on with guest speakers and other things that I know that you'll want to be involved in.

  13. 11620 Rainwood Street, City of Little Rock, Arkansas, where Jesus is building his church.

  14. Let's get into the Word of God today.

  15. Let's go over to the book of Exodus, uh, chapter 15, and we want to continue dealing with this subject of healing assured.

  16. The the reason that healing is assured, uh, a couple of the reasons, is that, first of all, you have a covenant as a believer with Almighty God.

  17. If you're not a believer, the best thing that you can do is remedy that situation by making Christ your Savior.

  18. You have a covenant with Almighty God, and that covenant assures you of the promise of healing.

  19. Alright?

  20. In Exodus chapter 15 and verse 23, it says, When they came to Mara, they could not drink of the waters of Mara, for they were bitter.

    Exodus 15 chapter mention

  21. Therefore the name of it was called Mara.

  22. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

  23. And he cried unto the Lord.

  24. Now notice, and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

  25. There he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, and said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all of his statutes, I will put, or I will allow none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that healeth you.

  26. I am the Lord that healeth you.

  27. Hallelujah.

  28. Now it says here, notice, that he enacted, all right, a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them.

  29. That word statute is an enactment or a decree.

  30. Ordinance is a judgment or a legal decision.

  31. And right after that, notice he sets himself in the position of healer for his covenant people.

  32. I am the Lord that heals you.

  33. Now, this is so important to understand.

  34. I am the Lord.

  35. I am the Lord that heals you.

  36. When he said, I am the Lord, I am Jehovah, all right, which is how we pronounce it in the English language.

  37. I am Jehovah.

  38. I am the Lord.

  39. I am Jehovah.

  40. Jehovah is the self-existent one.

  41. All right?

  42. The self-existent one.

  43. And then he says, I am Jehovah that heals you.

  44. All right.

  45. I am, it's one of the seven compound names of God found in the scripture.

  46. And it says, I am Jehovah, I am the Lord that heals you.

  47. I am Jehovah Rapha, the Lord that heals you.

  48. One translation says, I am the Lord your physician.

  49. Another says, I am the Lord your surgeon.

  50. All right?

  51. I am the Lord your physician.

  52. I am the Lord your surgeon.

  53. Now I am, when he said, I am the Lord, I am Jehovah, your healer.

  54. I am a blank check.

  55. All right?

  56. I am.

  57. What I need God to be, He is.

  58. What you need God to be, He is.

  59. And here's a very important key.

  60. And He is eternally that.

  61. Whatever God is, that's what He is for time and eternity.

  62. Why?

  63. Because God cannot change.

  64. Malachi chapter 3 and verse 6 says, I'm the Lord, I change not.

    Malachi 3 chapter mention

  65. Titus chapter 1 and verse 2 says that God cannot lie.

    Titus 1 chapter mention

  66. Hebrews 13 and 8 says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

  67. In the book of Numbers, he made the statement: God is not a man that he should lie, or the Son of Man that he would ever have to repent.

  68. As he said it, shall he not do it?

  69. If he has spoken it, he'll make it stand firm, he'll make it stand fast.

  70. Whatever God is, he is eternally that.

  71. Alright?

  72. I am the Lord that heals you.

  73. I am Jehovah, your healer.

  74. Alright?

  75. So that cannot change because God cannot change.

  76. Hallelujah.

  77. And God said that to these people based on the covenant that he had with Abraham, a covenant that New Testament believers have been brought into by the blood of Christ.

  78. So he said, I am the Lord that heals you, I am the Lord your healer, I am the Lord your physician, I am the Lord your surgeon, and he is eternally that to us.

  79. The Lord is my healer.

  80. Now anything that God is, he will do.

  81. Alright?

  82. If God can, he will.

  83. If God says I will, it means he can.

  84. And if God can, he will.

  85. God is always ready to use his ability on your behalf.

  86. Because that is his nature.

  87. It's the nature of God to heal.

  88. That's how we know that God does not make people sick because he did not say, I am the Lord that brings sickness.

  89. He said, I am the Lord your healer.

  90. Hallelujah.

  91. I am is a blank check.

  92. So he is the Lord that is eternally our healer.

  93. You should meditate on that for a moment.

  94. That he is the Lord that is eternally your healer.

  95. Eternity, by definition, is without time.

  96. We would use the word forever.

  97. So he is forever my healer.

  98. As long as I am on the earth, he is my healer.

  99. Now, here's something that's so important.

  100. That's not only to heal me if I'm sick.

  101. Hallelujah.

  102. That's to take it away and to keep it away.

  103. In the book of Exodus, chapter 23.

    Exodus 23 chapter mention

  104. The book of Exodus, chapter 23, and verse 25.

    Exodus 23 chapter mention

  105. He said, You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

  106. There shall nothing cast their young or be barren in your land.

  107. The number of your days I will fulfill.

  108. The number of your days I will fulfill.

  109. So we have a covenant that says, if sickness is there, our healer will take it away.

  110. He said, I will bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness and disease from your midst.

  111. I'll take it away.

  112. See, a covenant mindset is a requirement for strong faith.

  113. I have a covenant with Almighty God, with the Lord my healer, that says if sickness is there, he will take it away.

  114. Hallelujah.

  115. Because he's my healer.

  116. If it's there and I act in faith, he will take it.

  117. Why?

  118. Because that's his nature.

  119. Whatever God is, he is eternally that.

  120. He cannot be something else.

  121. God is a healer, he cannot be anything else.

  122. God is a deliverer, he cannot be anything else.

  123. Because that has is what he has set himself as for his people.

  124. Oh, hallelujah.

  125. Glory be to God.

  126. In uh John chapter 1 and verse 1, Jesus said something.

    John 1 chapter mention

  127. John chapter 1 and verse 1.

    John 1 chapter mention

  128. It says, In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

  129. Hallelujah.

  130. Verse 14 says, and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

  131. And then it says in verse 18, No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

  132. He has declared him.

  133. So notice the word was God.

  134. The amplified says, God himself.

  135. The word was God Himself.

  136. Then it says the Word became flesh.

  137. God became flesh.

  138. Now you could say God the Son became flesh, but the essence is there.

  139. God became flesh.

  140. The Amplified Bible says no man has ever seen God at any time.

  141. The only unique Son or the only begotten God who is in the bosom, in the intimate presence of the Father, he hath declared him, notice this, he has revealed him and brought him out where he can be seen.

  142. He has interpreted him and made him known.

  143. Oh, hallelujah.

  144. Now, how did Jesus do this?

  145. How did Jesus reveal the Father, bring the Father out where he can be seen, interpret him and make him known by his words and by his actions, by his words and by his actions.

  146. In John chapter 14, verse 8 through 11, the Amplified Bible says, Do you not believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me?

    John 14:8–11

  147. What I am telling you, I do not say on my own authority and of my own accord.

  148. But the Father who lives continually in me does his works, his own miracles, his own deeds of power.

  149. So, first of all, we see that Jesus said that he brought him out, he revealed him, brought him out where he could be seen, interpreted him, and made him known.

  150. Now he says, the Father who lives continually in me does his works, his own miracles, his own deeds of power.

  151. So the Father was working in Jesus to fulfill the covenant.

  152. The Father was working through Jesus.

  153. Remember Acts 10, 38?

  154. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

  155. Why?

  156. God, Jehovah, my healer, was with him.

  157. Why were so many people healed in the ministry of Jesus?

  158. Because the Father, the Jehovah, the healer, was with Jesus doing the miracles, doing the works, doing the deeds.

  159. Glory be to God.

  160. Hallelujah.

  161. God needed to get Jesus the man into the earth.

  162. Now why?

  163. So that God could do his covenant work through Jesus the man.

  164. He needed to get Jesus the man into the earth so that he could do his covenant work through Jesus.

  165. Hallelujah.

  166. Our part of the covenant is faith and obedience.

  167. Our part of the covenant.

  168. Realize, in the book of Exodus, it said, if you'll hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord your God and do all that he has commanded you, right?

  169. He would not allow these sicknesses and diseases to come on you that came on the Egyptians because I'm the Lord that heals you.

  170. Hallelujah.

  171. See, it's not an obedience, it's not an obedience like, well, you know, if I don't do this, then I'm going to get punished.

  172. So I'm going to be obedient so I don't get punished.

  173. That's the wrong mindset.

  174. Faith is New Testament obedience.

  175. Faith is New Testament obedience.

  176. When you exercise faith in God, you're believing God, you're satisfying what God requires.

  177. He said you've got to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you would be saved.

  178. When you believe in your heart and you declare what God has said, you've entered into that area of obedience.

  179. Hallelujah.

  180. In Mark chapter 7, in Mark chapter 7, and verse 24, Jesus had uh they had threatened to kill him there in the area where he was ministering.

Mark 7 chapter mention Mark 7 chapter mention

  181. And it says that he went to the area of the region of Tyre and Sidon, which was uh primarily a Gentile region there.

  182. And uh verse 24 says, He went under the borders of Tyre and Sidon and entered into a house and would not have any man know it, but he could not be hid.

  183. Now notice there's a reason he could not be hid.

  184. For a certain woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet.

  185. Now notice this.

  186. The woman was a Greek, a Cyrophoenician by nation, and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

  187. What did Jesus say to her?

  188. He said, Let the children first be filled, for it is not meat, it's not right, it's not acceptable to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs, or cast it to the little lap dogs, all right, the little house dogs.

  189. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord, yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

  190. And he said unto her, For this saying, go your way, the devil is gone out of your daughter.

  191. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out and her daughter laid upon the bed.

  192. Now understand, this woman had no covenant, therefore she had no healer.

  193. She had no covenant, so she had no healer.

  194. Do you understand?

  195. People that have not made Jesus the Lord of their life in the world that we live in, they have no covenant, so they have no healer.

  196. This is what is so heartbreaking.

  197. Is when people are born again, they enter into all the rights and privileges that the scripture outlines for us.

  198. This woman had no covenant with God, so she had no healer.

  199. She came and besought him greatly that he would heal her daughter or cast the devil out of her daughter.

  200. Jesus said, Let the children first be filled.

  201. Hallelujah.

  202. Now, there's a lot into that, in that that we can't teach on because our focus is healing.

  203. But remember, it was prophesied of Jesus that he would come into his own, and his own would not receive him.

  204. Now, many Gentiles were healed, probably under the ministry of Jesus, because there were times that multitudes came, and it says he healed them all.

  205. And we we certainly cannot make the assertion that all of that multitude were Jewish.

  206. I'm certain that Gentiles were healed.

  207. But here's what I want you to see.

  208. All of Jesus' interaction with Gentiles personally, face to face, where healing was concerned, was based on their faith.

  209. Jesus called those with a covenant children.

  210. He called those without a covenant dogs.

  211. Now that's that's not racial, that's not a derogatory term in the sense of Jesus was being mean.

  212. Understand this.

  213. No matter how hard you try, a dog will never be a child.

  214. Listen, I have a wonderful little dog that I love that licks me in the face, all right, that shares my bed with me, not all night, but while I'm watching TV in the bed, she's right there with me.

  215. She loves me.

  216. I love her, but understand, she'll never be a child.

  217. Why?

  218. She's not on the same level as a child.

  219. She is a dog.

  220. She's not on the same level.

  221. He said, Let them, let the children first be filled.

  222. In other words, there'll be a time for you to eat, but not right now.

  223. This is not the time.

  224. The Amplified Bible says, He said to her, Because of this saying, you may go your way.

  225. The demon has gone out of your daughter permanently.

  226. And she went home and found the child thrown on the couch, and the demon departed.

  227. Is so beautiful to me.

  228. Can you imagine the life that this woman was living?

  229. Misery, uh uh, uh turmoil.

  230. She's living with a daughter that's possessed by a demon.

  231. She has no hope.

  232. I don't know if she opened the door through whatever.

  233. Did she worship idols or I don't know.

  234. But here's what I know.

  235. She heard of Jesus.

  236. What did she hear about Jesus?

  237. That he could cast out demons with his word.

  238. He could cast out demons with his word.

  239. And she came to him and besought him greatly that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

  240. Hallelujah.

  241. And Jesus said, Look, you don't have a covenant with the Almighty God, the healer, right?

  242. There'll be a time that you'll receive.

  243. But right now I'm ministering to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

  244. Here's where her faith came into play.

  245. Lord, I understand I am a dog, and I don't deserve the food that the children are eating, but I'm here.

  246. I'm at the table.

  247. I'm under your feet.

  248. I'm asking you for help.

  249. See, not only is God our healer, he's also the merciful and faithful high priest.

  250. And what he can do, he will do.

  251. And anyone that will touch him with faith, he'll reach out and touch their bodies and heal their bodies regardless of the situation they may find themselves in.

  252. Glory to God.

  253. That's a picture of us before Christ.

  254. No hope.

  255. Under the bondage of the enemy.

  256. But by faith, we entered into the covenant and found freedom.

  257. By faith, we entered into the covenant and we found freedom.

  258. Glory be to God.

  259. Hallelujah.

  260. Hallelujah.

  261. Thank you, Jesus.

  262. Glory to God.

  263. That's why Ephesians 2.12 says, remember that you were at that time separated, living apart from Christ, excluded from all part in Him, estranged, outlawed from Israel as a nation, strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the Messianic promise, with no knowledge of rights in God's agreements, his covenants, and you had no hope, no promise, you were in a world without God.

  264. Because I was a stranger to the covenant.

  265. The scripture says, and and I may not have time to get completely into this, but the scripture says that in Luke 17, 11.

  266. Hallelujah.

  267. That Jesus encountered these lepers.

  268. And they asked him for something.

  269. They said, Son of David, have mercy on us.

  270. And you'll remember he cleansed them and sent them away and said, Go offer the gift that Moses said to offer.

  271. And it says, as they went, they were healed.

  272. What did they do?

  273. They encountered the faithful God that keeps covenant and mercy.

  274. Deuteronomy 7, 5 says, He is the faithful God that keeps covenant and mercy unto a thousand generations.

  275. And it says, as the ten went, that one came back, praising God.

  276. And Jesus said that man was a stranger, an alien, a non-covenant man.

  277. But here's the question, my brother and sister, what did they cry out for?

  278. Mercy.

  279. What did they get?

  280. Mercy.

  281. They encountered the faithful God that keeps covenant and mercy.

  282. By faith, this Samaritan leper entered into the covenant that God made with Abraham.

  283. Hallelujah.

  284. If you're born again, the Bible says that you have been made a partaker of the blessing of Abraham.

  285. All right?

  286. If you are Christ, then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.

  287. Father, I pray for every person watching in the name of Jesus that you would heal their body, that you would touch their body, set them free from the sickness and the disease that's trying to plug their body.

  288. Make them whole by the power of Jesus' name.

  289. We thank you for it in Jesus' name.

  290. I believe that God just touched your body.

  291. I look forward to hearing as you write in and tell us that Jesus has made a difference in your life.

  292. Thank you for joining me today on this edition of the Faith Builders Broadcast.

  293. I look forward to being with you next time as we continue this subject of healing being assured.

  294. And until I see you then, please remember to keep the switch of faith turned on and build your faith and frame your world by the word of God.

  295. God bless you.
