Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the First Samuel Bible
-
Study with Matthew and Rachel. This is a very prophetic chapter,
-
right from the get-go, that involves Bible prophecy.
-
So, a.
-
Lot of people probably don't know that. They probably read
-
this like it's a little golden book and just breeze
-
right through it.
-
It would be, it's an interesting little golden book. I mean,
-
it is an interesting story. It's stand-alone, you know, if
-
you take it.
-
As it reads. Yes. Yes, if you take it as
-
it reads, it's pretty interesting. One of the very infamous
-
things here. Boy, this one chapter kind of changes everything.
-
I mean, you know, Saul was bad, but not this bad.
-
He goes from bad to evil.
-
This is when the.
-
This is when the root... What's spoken of is very
-
prophetic here in another way. It says that he's by
-
this tree. And when you know the prophecy involved here,
-
David is the root of the good tree, right? And
-
all life comes from that tree. Here, prophetically, you're.
-
We'll wait until we get to that.
-
Right. I mean, it's right in the opening verses.
-
And not to mention the fact that Abraham was under
-
a tree too.
-
Yes. Yes.
-
When he was given the promise.
-
Exactly. And that is exactly what this... This is like
-
the anti... The anti-promise. Is this my show or yours?
-
You're exactly correct. The problem is, how many of the
-
people listening or watching know any of this? And yet
-
they purport to be end-time Bible prophecy experts, right? So,
-
would you say that's... Okay, let's.
-
Not be mean to people who are potentially watching.
-
I'm not trying to be mean to people. I'm just
-
giving you the heads up.
-
All right.
-
If we talk about things you've never heard before, that
-
shouldn't surprise you. So anyway, so let's get to the text,
-
shall we? But in verse 1 is Bible prophecy. So anyway,
-
read to your heart's desire, BibleKicks.
-
David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave
-
of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father's
-
house heard of it, they went down there to him.
-
And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt,
-
and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he
-
became captain over them. And there were about 400 men
-
with him. Now, this is... This reminds me of that
-
verse in the, well, you never watched the cantata of
-
the Messiah, but the part of it was, all you
-
who are weary, come to me.
-
Yes. And all of that. And so.
-
Yes.
-
Yes.
-
That reminds me of that. Do you have that pulled
-
up on your screen, that verse?
-
Nope, I don't. You can get it, though. I could
-
get it if I wanted to.
-
You don't want to?
-
I don't want to.
-
So it reminds me of Jesus, though, anyway. Yes, it
-
reminds me of Jesus.
-
Absolutely. So what do you make of the cave of Adon?
-
Did you know that's pure Bible prophecy?
-
Well, I know that, you know, when people go and
-
hide in the caves and stuff, the rich and the
-
poor go and hide in the caves. But this is
-
basically just the poor. This is just the poor.
-
Well.
-
This is not the rich people.
-
Read Micah chapter 1, verse 15. Micah.
-
I will yet bring an heir to you, O inhabitant of.
-
Marashah.
-
The glory of Israel shall come to Adullam.
-
Yep. So, now it's really important. Read the next verse.
-
Read verse 16.
-
Make yourself bald and cut off your hair because of
-
And for precious children, enlarge your baldness like an eagle,
-
for they shall go from you into captivity.
-
So anyway, this is highly instructive in Bible prophecy, if
-
you know anything about this. But anyway, we talked about
-
this group in the last show, too. Moshaim, yes, God
-
is going to take them. Yes, yes, he is. This
-
is Operation Eagle's Wings. Yes, he really is going to
-
take them to heaven.
-
But it's saying that they're going into captivity. That's not
-
really captivity.
-
That's kind of like... Yeah, that is captivity. He's taking
-
them from their mothers. Yeah, he's taking them.
-
But they're going to be happy because they'll be with Jesus.
-
They're still going to be captive. Because they won't be sad. Right.
-
So anyway, this is all tied to Adullam here. But
-
people don't realize that this is one of the key
-
things with the future false messiah of the Judaists. They're
-
expecting these events to happen. There's been some archaeological digs
-
done here, but anyway, for some rhyme or reason, They're
-
expecting the Messiah to go to Adalim, and this is why. Okay.
-
Because of David and because of this verse.
-
Yes, because of this prophecy. So another thing of extreme
-
importance here is, well, what's your thoughts? This is also
-
the beginning of, of course, David's mighty men. Yeah. Right.
-
Yeah, so.
-
I didn't see anything else.
-
Okay.
-
Read on then.
-
Then David went from there to Mizpah of Moab. And
-
he said to the king of Moab, Please let my
-
father and mother come here with you till I know
-
what God will do for me. So he brought them
-
before the king of Moab. and they dwelt with him
-
in the time that David was in the stronghold. Now
-
the prophet Gad said to David, Do not stay in
-
the stronghold. Depart and go to the land of Judah.
-
So David departed and went into the forest of Herod.
-
So God directly intervenes here with The prophet dad. So
-
what is about to happen is being triggered by.
-
Moab is that. Moab is where Ruth came from.
-
Yes.
-
Is that why he went there? Because that would have been.
-
Yes. His great grandmother. Yes. Yes. Yes. And again. Yes.
-
Yes.
-
Moab is directly tied in with Bible prophecy. Yes. So,
-
also they were across the Jordan, they were neighbors. Of course,
-
Moab and Ammon were the sons of Lot by his daughters.
-
So anyway, all kinds of Bible prophecy wrapped up with Moab.
-
But literally speaking, Moab means from the father. Prophetically, this
-
is talking about angels. Amun, the brother, has just the opposite.
-
That means from the tribes. So Moab means of the
-
families of heaven. And Amun is talking about the families
-
on earth.
-
Okay, so if we're talking about end time prophecy, this
-
is the octogenarians. Right? Right.
-
Okay, I haven't heard octogenarian in decades. This ties in
-
directly with the prophecy of the promise that people over
-
80 years old would not suffer these things.
-
Right.
-
Where did you get octogenarian from? I did not tell
-
you this. No, no, I didn't. I.
-
I read Regency novels.
-
What's that got to do with the price of beans
-
in China? What's a Regency novel?
-
It's a time period where people use that term.
-
Octogenarian?
-
Yeah.
-
The spirit has a strange way of moving. So Regency novels.
-
So which series of novels are you reading that has this?
-
Sarah Eden is the author. Somebody posted a question. I
-
just saw it out of the corner of my eye. Okay.
-
So love that word octogenarian, LOL, from Jenny. So you've
-
been of late reading these novels about finding Persephone. That's
-
what you're talking about? Yeah. Why would they use the
-
term octogenarian? I don't know.
-
It seemed like, for whatever reason, it was a common term.
-
It was a common term. But anyway, like I said,
-
this is according to the promise. God has.
-
And.
-
The reason why is this. Because... Okay, have you ever
-
heard any end-time Bible prophecy talking about, well, why did
-
David send his parents to Moab? You've never heard anybody
-
talk about that, right? But yes, this is.
-
Because they were older, and if they got attacked by
-
King Saul, they wouldn't be able to run or whatever.
-
They wouldn't be able to endure, you know.
-
Seeing killed it would be hard on them.
-
Emotionally yes they did that so wow this is turning
-
to a whopper you just took me by complete surprise there.
-
So then the stronghold is obviously that place that's being
-
prepared for.
-
Us yes it is as a matter of fact It's
-
probably going to be prepared because of what David did.
-
So now, for whatever reason, we're going to leave the
-
stronghold for a while and go into some kind of forest?
-
We have to flee to the wilderness. And it's from
-
that flight that the angels take us to the pledge prepared. Yeah. Yes,
-
that's what happens. All right. All right. Keep reading.
-
When Saul heard that David and the men who were
-
with him had been discovered, now Saul was staying in
-
Gebeah under a tamarisk tree in Ramah, with his spear
-
in his hand and all his servants standing about him.
-
Then Saul said to his servants who stood about him,
-
Here now, you Benjamites, will the son of Jesse give in?
-
Every one of.
-
You fields and vineyards and make you all captains of
-
thousands and captains of hundreds.
-
Stop right there. This is fulfilling the prophecy that he
-
would divide the land for gain. This is where that prophecy,
-
this is why that prophecy is given.
-
So I got curious when I read this. So I
-
was like, what's a tamarisk tree? Because it reminded me
-
of when Abraham was under the oak tree. Right.
-
It was an oak tree.
-
But it just reminded me of it, so I wanted
-
to look it up. And what it came up as
-
is also known as a salt cedar, which is illegal
-
in North Dakota.
-
And you can be.
-
Fined if you have one in your yard because it
-
contaminates the soil around it and kills everything else.
-
The opposite of the root of Jesse.
-
Can literally destroy a half an acre of land to
-
where nothing can be planted.
-
Nothing can ever. Yes. Nothing can ever be planted there again.
-
And so basically it's a, it's a tree that's toxic.
-
And when I looked it up, it's actually a pretty
-
beautiful tree.
-
Because it puts on the color of Christ. What does
-
it put on? What, what color is the flowers?
-
Purple.
-
Purple. They're purple. It clothes itself in the color of Christ. So, anyway. Wow,
-
I never expected to go into there, but yeah. This
-
is first mentioned with the promise. Because Abraham planted one
-
of these in Beersheba, and there called on the name
-
of the Lord, the everlasting God.
-
Oh.
-
So this is an inversion to the promise. This is
-
an inversion to the promise. Which also ties into Abimelech,
-
which is just all kinds of Bible prophecy. If you
-
know these things, you know what's going to You don't
-
think you know. You actually know. You know it's coming.
-
So anyway, back to 2 Samuel chapter 22. So pick
2 Samuel 22 chapter mention
-
it up in verse 8. You stopped at verse 8.
-
All of you have conspired against me, and there is
-
no one who reveals to me that my son has
-
made a covenant with the son of Jesse. And there
-
is not one of you who is sorry for me
-
or reveals to me that my son has stirred up
-
my servants against me to lie in wait as it
-
is this day. Then answered Doeg the Edomite, who was
-
sent over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw
-
the son of Jesse going to Nob, to Ahimelech the
-
son of Ahitug, And he inquired of the Lord for him,
-
gave him provisions, and gave him the sword of Goliath
-
the Philistine. So the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest,
-
the son of Ahithob, and all his father's house, the
-
priests who were in Naam. And they all came to
-
the king, and Saul said, Here now, son of Ahithob.
-
He answered, Here I am, my lord. Then Saul said
-
to him, Why have you conspired against me, you and
-
the son of Jesse, in that you have given him
-
bread and a sword and have inquired of God for
-
him that he should rise against me to lie in
-
wait as it is this day? So Ahimelech answered the
-
king and said, Who among all your servants is as
-
faithful as David, who is the king's son-in-law? who goes
-
at your bidding and is honorable in your house. Did
-
I then begin to acquire of God for him? Far
-
be it from me. Let not the king impute anything
-
to his servant or to any in the house of
-
my father, for your servant knew nothing of all this
-
little or much. And the king said, You shall surely die, Ahimelech,
-
you and all your father's house. Then the king said
-
to the guards who stood about him, Turn and kill
-
the priests of the Lord, because their hand also is
-
with David, and because they knew when he fled and
-
did not tell it to me. But the servants of
-
the king would not lift their hands to strike the
-
priests of the Lord. And the king said to Doeg,
-
you turn and kill the priests. So Doag, the Edomite,
-
turned and struck the priests and killed on that day
-
85 men who wore a linen ephod. Also Nob, the
-
city of priests, he struck with the edge of the
-
sword both men and women, children and nursing infants, oxen
-
and donkeys and sheep with the edge of the sword.
-
So that So when I read that, I was like,
-
that to me, I felt like that was an in
-
your face to God. Because God said, because he did
-
not kill all of them in whatever battle that where
-
he took the kingship from Saul. I feel like that
-
that was an in your face to God when he
-
did that.
-
Doubly so in the simple fact that Deuteronomy chapter 24
-
verse 16 fathers shall not be put to death for
-
their children nor shall children be put to death for
-
their fathers a person shall be put to death for
-
his own sin so doubly so Saul was making doubly
-
sure that God knew he was at war against him.
-
So make no mistakes about it. This is all tied
-
up with the two numbered groups in entire Bible prophecy.
-
Here the priest of Nob are a prophetic future shadow
-
of the Talulim. Those that are going to be marked
-
for death in Revelation chapter 7, verse 4.
-
Even though this is 85, and that's 144,000.
-
Uh-huh. And there's a reason for that. There's a reason
-
for that integer. And yes, I could get into the
-
alphanumerics just of that verse right now, and I'm not
-
going to. That's way too much information overload.
-
Okay.
-
But people need to realize this is why Aaron, in
-
private discussions, he believes that the Talulim are actually these
-
born-again clergy He actually thinks they're the fathers of the Mosheim.
-
He thinks they're actually their fathers, and this is why.
-
This is why. And that's the first time I've ever
-
talked about that publicly with Aaron. I didn't discuss that
-
with him on air. But anyway, I mean, if I
-
was to start a study right now just on alphanumerics
-
and begin to teach you how to see the alphanumerics...
-
It really does make you wonder because these babies, the
-
angels don't come after them for any reason other than
-
they must be miraculous conceptions. They must be. That's how
-
the angels know and come to kill them. This is
-
what the word says in Revelation chapter 12. That's why
Revelation 12 chapter mention
-
the war in heaven happens is over these children. That's
-
what Daniel chapter 12 verse 1 says. And it really,
-
I mean, It's not what it comes out and says,
-
but boy, that would make sense. That would really make sense.
-
According to the priest of Nob, according to Ezekiel chapter 9,
Ezekiel 9 chapter mention
-
Revelation chapter 7. Anyway, I could go on and on
Revelation 7 chapter mention
-
and on. But yes, you can tell by what he
-
does here at verse 19. This is the very reason
-
that God was mad with him because he didn't do this, right?
-
So he does it against the priest of God instead
-
of God's enemies. So this is this is over the
-
top Antichrist in every way, shape and form from top
-
to bottom. So anyway, yeah, from top to bottom, this
-
is just. This is dastardly.
-
This is to the point. This is where Saul turns evil.
-
He goes from being bad and disobedient and rebellious to
-
being outright wicked.
-
And just so you know, prophetically, what is going to
-
happen in the future, during the great apostasy, this is
-
why the angels have to get involved, exactly for the
-
reason why Saul's soldiers would not kill. these you can
-
know that's why um these apostate clergy they won't go
-
after these pregnant women that's a line they won't cross
-
anyway that's why the war in heaven is triggered it's
-
formulated it's based around the events we just we just
-
read so the final verses here Are you going to
-
read these final four verses or not? You want to
-
elaborate more? No, I think that's good. Okay, go. Last
-
four verses.
-
Now one of the sons of Ahimelech, the son of Ahithoph,
-
named Abiathar, escaped and fled after David. And Abiathar told
-
David that Saul had killed the Lord's priests. So David
-
said to Abiathar, I knew that day when I saw Doeg,
-
that Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul,
-
I have caused the death of all the persons of
-
your father's house. Stay with me.
-
Do not fear.
-
For he who seeks my life seeks your life. But
-
with me, you shall be safe. So what's the Bible
-
prophecy with that?
-
Well, for one, somebody had to know, right? This is
-
how David got the information, no doubt about it. But
-
also the promises endure, right? The promises have to endure.
-
And this is that hint that not all of them
-
will be exterminated, right? And they will live. Now, he's
-
also mentioned again in 1 Kings chapter 2, verse 26.
-
So we'll read there. And to Abathar, the priest, the
-
king said, Now go to Anathoth to your own fields,
-
for you are deserving of death. But I will not
-
put you to death at this time, because you carried
-
the ark of the Lord God before my father David,
-
and because you were afflicted every time my father was afflicted.
-
So Solomon removed Abathar from being priest of the Lord,
-
so that he might fulfill the word of the Lord,
-
which is spoken concerning the house of Eli at Shiloh. So,
-
then came news to Joab, for Joab had defected to Adoniah,
-
though he had not defected to Absalom. This is yada, yada, yada.
-
This is part of the Absalom rebellion. So, You can
-
translate this, this is also going to happen in the wilderness.
-
This rebellion is going to happen. It is coming. Thus
-
saith the word in Revelation chapter 12. This rebellion from
Revelation 12 chapter mention
-
Satan is going to happen in the wilderness. So, wow.
-
All kinds of Bible prophecy on this. Good stuff. So,
-
I mean, it's pretty simple when you know the timeline.
-
It's literally structured off these verses. Brethren, always amen.
-
All right.
-
Any questions or comments from anybody? I don't see anything
-
in the chat room. All right. Any questions or comments?
-
Going once. Going twice. Third time's a charm. All right, everybody.
-
With that being said, until next time, everybody, God bless. Godspeed.
