-
And thank you, Heavenly Father, for what you are saying must be toiling the heart of boldness to the act on you.
-
And our words and our corresponding actions.
-
Give you glory, give you honor, and give you praise in Jesus' name.
-
Amen.
-
Welcome to part two.
-
Uh Love Guy Little Bow with the subtitle A Bow Light Here Flows from Knowing I'm Love There.
-
Let's get Love God Two Subtitle A Bow Like We Can't Really Bowl here.
-
Made Sense of There.
-
The Primary Scripture is 2 Corinthians 3, Verse 4-12.
-
Second Corinthians 3, Verse 4 through 12.
-
And it reads as this in the KTV.
-
And such trust we have through Christ to God's word.
-
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God.
-
Alright?
-
Verse 5.
-
Six, I'm sorry.
-
Who also made us able to be ministers of the New Testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirit.
-
For the letter killeth, but the Spirit gives life.
-
But if the menstruations of death, written and engraved in stone, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not step fastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away, this is him coming off the mountain.
-
How shall not the menstruation of the Spirit be rather glorious?
-
For if the menstruation of the condemnation be glorious, much more doth the menstruation of righteousness exceeded.
-
For even that which was made glorious had no glory disrespect.
-
But the reason of the glory that excelleth, for if that which was done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
-
Seeing then we have such hope, we use great plains of speech, particularly the first part.
-
Seeing that we have such hope.
-
So last week, I'm gonna circle back around.
-
So last week we talked about I am loved here.
-
So a couple weeks ago, once again, Derby came here.
-
Derby came here.
-
We talked about for a few weeks.
-
Journey there to that place called there.
-
And so now the question is what happens when you get there?
-
For us the answer is we love God and live bold.
-
As a testimony, as an overflow of God's love for us, what happens is we we live bold here.
-
So verse Psalms 27 1, 13, and 14.
-
A little more background, and next week we'll put it all together.
-
Psalms 27.
-
This is a psalm of David.
-
Verse 1.
-
The Lord is my light and my salvation.
-
Whom shall I fear?
-
Right?
-
We can almost stop there.
-
This is a great song.
-
Speaking of old school songs earlier.
-
The Lord is my light and my salvation.
-
Whom should I fear?
-
Whom shall I be afraid?
-
I know, right?
-
The Lord the strength of my life, whom shall I be afraid of?
-
Verse 2.
-
When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes came upon me, even my flesh they stumbled and failed.
-
Though a host shall encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.
-
The war shall rise against me, and this I will be confident.
-
Hold on.
-
Though a host shall encamp against my heart, against me, my heart shall not fear.
-
Okay.
-
Though war shall rise against me, we have confidence.
-
Okay.
-
One thing I have desired, and that I will seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire of his temple.
-
For in time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion.
-
In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me, he shall also set me upon a rock.
-
And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me.
-
Therefore will I offer his tabernacle sacrifices of joy.
-
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
-
Well, we try to, we're gonna get better as a group.
-
Singing out praise to the Lord.
-
Hear the Lord when I cry with my voice, have mercy upon me also, answer me.
-
When thou said to seek your faith, my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I see.
-
Hide not thy face far from me, put not thy servant away in anger.
-
Thou hast been my help.
-
Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
-
When my father and my mother forsook me, then the Lord will take me up.
-
Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me into thy plain path because of my enemies.
-
Deliver me not over to the will of my enemies, for false witnesses are risen up against me, and have such as breathed over court cruelty.
-
I had fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
-
Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thy heart.
-
Wait, I say, on the Lord.
-
So we have this word.
-
David was like, look, he was like, I would have, fang it, I would have stopped.
-
I would have stopped doing well, I would have stopped speaking well, I would have stopped thinking well, I would have stopped believing well, I would have stopped doing the next right thing, as my friends say.
-
If I did not believe, I had a promise, I will see the goodness of the Lord while I'm alive.
-
That builds hope.
-
You can see the goodness of God before you die.
-
Now, I know for some of us, we know people that have died still believing.
-
Died still believing.
-
And honestly, I think that's one of the biggest problems with my generation younger.
-
A lot of the old heads, they never saw it.
-
They talked about it so much, but they never tasted and saw it.
-
So as a result, my generation is easier.
-
You know what?
-
We're gonna stop moving by faith.
-
Let me go with this thing that I can see and I can manipulate with my own understanding.
-
And so what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna go get it without God.
-
Because you know the devil can bless you too.
-
The devil can bring you nice, shining stuff.
-
The devil can make this thing happen for you, but the problem is you're gonna gain the world and lose your.
-
And so now you'll have all these good things, but you're not gonna be good because of it.
-
You'll have it, but you'll be miserable.
-
How can that person be so wealthy?
-
Be so you fill in the blank, but yet be the loneliest, the most mentally, physically, spiritually jacked up person ever.
-
But they got the shiny things.
-
Welcome to how the enemy works.
-
I'm gonna give you gold, but it's gonna be fool's gold.
-
Or it's gonna be so temporary that what's gonna happen is you it's gonna come quick, you're gonna lose it quick.
-
It's gonna come in a way that's like, oh man, this is good.
-
Ball, I'm doing this, I'm doing that.
-
I got the applause of me.
-
People know my name.
-
I walk in.
-
Everybody, hey, what up, dude?
-
How you doing?
-
I'm good, you know, good, looking good.
-
You know, but all of a sudden, when the lights are off, when you by yourself, you can't look yourself in the mirror.
-
Why?
-
Because all that feeling was fake, false.
-
So as a result, the enemy, like, okay, now I got you where I want you, because now you had to compromise to make it happen.
-
And what he begins to cause you to believe is that God won't even hear you anymore.
-
Because he will bless you, but he's gonna try to take you away from the goodness of God.
-
I don't know where that came from.
-
So now we have the situation.
-
We've got to believe that there's a reason, that there is a record, that God is a rewarder of those who trust him and who seek him.
-
If you do not believe that this bold life would call you to live, when he's trying to equip you to live, you're not gonna do it.
-
Why?
-
Because when you get saved, when you accept Christ first Lord and Savior, you got a bullseye on your back.
-
And it's a supernatural bullseye.
-
You have an enemy who comes in once, we've shared this before, we cannot overteach this.
-
You cannot overteach Mark 4.
-
The enemy comes at once to steal the word.
-
The word.
-
Your faith, hope, confidence, your belief in the word.
-
What word?
-
First of all, the logos, written word.
-
More importantly, the reveal, the rhema word, the stuff he tells you when everybody takes my challenge and choose to pray for a little while.
-
You start hearing stuff when you pray.
-
It's like, no, that's too good to be true.
-
Well, that'll never happen to me.
-
Or you when he tells you, when he gives you a picture, he gives you a dream of you see yourself prospering, you see yourself good.
-
Then you wake up, then you realize, hold on, I can't breathe.
-
Because the demands of your everyday life is so much so that what he's telling you looks impossible.
-
So, what the enemy wants to do, he wants you to lose sight of what God says, because he wants to suffocate you based on what you see.
-
And not only what you see, he's gonna put words in other people's mouth, even people that control your livelihood for some situations, and as a result, you got two choices.
-
Go, bold or foe.
-
So now, the enemy wants you, of course, to foe.
-
Because he wants you to not believe that God is good, that he's faithful to fulfill his word.
-
He wants you to not believe that no word shall return to Christ void.
-
He doesn't want you to believe that everything God spoke will produce that which is out there to actually do.
-
Because if I can get you guys to believe it, guess what you're gonna do?
-
You're gonna be like David said.
-
You're gonna faint.
-
So then this is David Raymond Report.
-
He says, wait on the Lord.
-
The last three weeks we've had the pleasure of going out to eat after we leave here.
-
It's been fun watching the waiters.
-
Especially if we go out in a group of 20.
-
Fun watching the waiters.
-
It's interesting.
-
In the Bible, a lot of times when you say wait, yes, that involves physically actually waiting, but it's more accurately waiting like a good waiter in a restaurant.
-
So for me, when I'm not traveling groups of 20, it's fun when I walk in, like you know, I have a bunch of kids, waiters, waitresses, they interact with the kids.
-
Most of them, they immediately go to the kids.
-
The kids are talking, they're going back and forth, doing it doing their thing.
-
And me, I tend to drink my Arnold Palmer very quickly.
-
So the best waiters, waitresses, by the time my glass gets about a fourth empty, they come with that picture.
-
Here you go.
-
Me, drink it up again probably before they walk away.
-
Here you go.
-
And typically they bring a second cup with them next time.
-
Like, you know, look, look, look, you're not about to outdo me.
-
And it's fun.
-
But what is this waiter doing as they wait?
-
Watching, listening, scanning.
-
Of course, we're not the only table, but they make you feel like you are in that moment.
-
Right?
-
And so, what if I told you, just like that waiter is to us in the natural, that's how we're invited to interact with God.
-
Keep your eyes on him and what he's doing.
-
And as you're watching him, there's an expectation to anticipate what he's doing next.
-
So you're watching with expectation.
-
Hey, I'm gonna do this for you, I'm gonna do that for you.
-
And he's pouring out to you.
-
And just like a good waiter, the best waiter, they make you give a tip.
-
If it's a good waiter, do you give him a small tip, or you tip them nice?
-
What if I told you God is the same way toward us?
-
God wants to reward us bountifully, but too many times what happens is we're not gonna go open and beyond the service of God.
-
We're gonna do just enough to get to heaven and he'll well done.
-
But God is like, no, no, no, no.
-
I want to, let's do it big.
-
Because you're bold enough to accept the challenge, to withstand attacks of the enemy and still kill and destroy, and as a result, you're gonna do the work of two, three, and four people.
-
Not because you got to strict yourself and do more.
-
No, because you're simply obeying God.
-
You're gonna get stuff done quicker.
-
As you get stuff done more quickly, is performance punishment.
-
Sort of kind of.
-
No how to own you off jobs.
-
You do a good job, what they do.
-
They reward you with less work, right?
-
No.
-
They reward you with less work.
-
And so you're doing so good.
-
Let me let me give you time off.
-
No.
-
Y'all think God's indifferent?
-
No, God is not a leech like your jobs are.
-
In the sense he just take, take, take, take, take you.
-
Ask for raise.
-
They say, ha ha, especially about the public school education like I do.
-
What's his raise?
-
Your salary is posted.
-
God is like, no, no, no.
-
I'm gonna take care of you fairly.
-
But you will get more.
-
Why?
-
Because you're gonna get more stuff done.
-
You're gonna cover more levels than the next person will.
-
When the next person on level one, you're gonna be on level three.
-
The next person on level three, you're on level five.
-
When level level five, you're on ten.
-
Why?
-
Because you're diligent in what you're doing and you're executing at such a high level that he's gonna trust you with more.
-
Why do you think the story of the talents is structured the way it is?
-
These are not on my notes.
-
Let's just keep writing.
-
Why do we think the story of the talents?
-
The story of the talents is a fun story.
-
Because God had at least three people.
-
We know there's actually one or two people there.
-
He gave one person five, one person two, one person one.
-
Why do you think he divided up like that?
-
Because he knew the person with five could handle five.
-
Person with two can handle two.
-
He knew the person with one could handle one.
-
What's even crazy about that story?
-
When the person with five made ten, he said, good job.
-
Then when the person with one did nothing with it, he took from the person with one, gave it to the person with ten.
-
That don't seem fair.
-
What you mean?
-
He got ten.
-
I got one.
-
You're gonna take your one if you get nothing with it.
-
Give it to the person that made ten, and now he got eleven, and nine times out of ten, if I give him eleven, he's gonna make.
-
So he's giving, he's looking for people who can be productive with his word, acting on what he's saying, bold about what he's doing.
-
Yes, it's going to be difficult.
-
Why?
-
We have an adversary who wants to steal kill, and most importantly, he doesn't want the will of God to be done on this earth.
-
He doesn't want it.
-
Why you know if the will of God is done on this earth, then everything, ooh, then everything he stood for, what he lost, what he gave up when he committed high treason, would be for nothing.
-
What do you mean?
-
The devil wants to take people to hell with him.
-
He wants people to live in hell on earth and die and go to hell for eternity.
-
God doesn't want anybody to go to hell.
-
God made hell for the devil and the fallen angels.
-
So what he's trying to do is still kill and destroy and confuse enough people to reject God to take them to hell with them.
-
But if God had a people who was willing to live bold, not because it's a cute name, but because it's a function of how we want to obey God, if that were to happen, we would see how powerless darkness is over like.
-
When you have honestly, we're not even sweating anymore.
-
We need working that hard anymore.
-
Why?
-
Because we're walking, we're working with the grace.
-
I don't know, wait, I don't know if that made any sense to you all, but I'm telling it clearly.
-
Also, uh, y'all haven't asked me.
-
Thank you.
-
I appreciate you all.
-
But I know it's circulating.
-
Word for 2027.
-
On earth as is in heaven.
-
Matthew chapter 6, verse 10.
-
On earth as is in heaven.
-
Okay?
-
If you want to make it our here and there language, I ain't quite cleaned that one up yet.
-
I haven't cleaned that one up yet.
-
Because I've been battling between here as it is there, but oh, it's not as fun.
-
But telling like Matthew chapter 6, verse 10.
-
On earth as it is in heaven.
-
So I'm excited.
-
2027, on earth as in heaven.
-
Ah, see what you did there.
-
So around April, we're gonna do a six-week series.
-
I'm excited about this one.
-
I'm preparing for it now.
-
On heaven, what does heaven look like?
-
Because if we're gonna say on earth as it's in heaven, what you mean?
-
Because for some of us, heaven looks like, oh Father, yes, Lord.
-
And there's no time in heaven.
-
Think about that.
-
Time is an earthly construct.
-
So that means you've been in the same position for thousands of years.
-
I've been crying for years.
-
On earth as in heaven.
-
The briefer part about it, we get to be a part of bringing it down, of bringing it to earth.
-
And that's what the master said.
-
I am way off my notes.
-
Uh okay.
-
Uh wow.
-
Kristen, you let me get that far up off my notes.
-
I blame you for this one.
-
As far as the uh Jewish festivals and feasts, last time we talked, it was the Day of Atonement.
-
This week is Soku.
-
S-U-T-T-S-U-K-K-O-T-H.
-
This is the feast of Soku.
-
Let's go to Luke chapter Leviticus.
-
I'm sorry, chapter 23.
-
Leviticus 23.
-
Leviticus 23, he talks about honestly a lot of the um the different feasts, and we know, now now we know, and we're gonna grow to know that if you were to put these things on a calendar, that we're able to have time to commemorate, to remember certain things.
-
Things ultimately in the life of Jesus, but things on the earth as well.
-
So there are certain things that took place historically important during certain feasts, festivals.
-
As they come up, we'll talk about it more.
-
Leviticus chapter 23, verse 39.
-
It says.
-
Also on the 15th day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days.
-
On the first day shall be a Sabbath, day of rest.
-
On the eighth day shall also be a Sabbath.
-
So pretty much Jewish Sabbath, Sundown, Friday, Sunday, Saturday night.
-
So the weekend for us.
-
And you shall, verse 40, take on the first day of the balls of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and balls of thick trees, and willows of the brook, and shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days, and shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year.
-
It shall be a statute forever in your generations.
-
You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
-
Ye shall dwell in booths for seven days.
-
All that are in Israelites shall born abide in booths or tents.
-
That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt.
-
I am the Lord your God.
-
And Moses declared this unto all the children of Israel, the feasts of the Lord.
-
And so God commanded the children of Israel to live in shelters.
-
So future generations will remember the Exodus.
-
God never wants you to forget what He's done for you.
-
For some of us, we have certain rituals.
-
Then if you don't, you should.
-
To commemorate what God has done.
-
Because for some of us, we got scars.
-
You look at that scar, you think about how'd you get that scar?
-
I mean, I was in the streets.
-
Some of us, you can, you can let your bank out remember all the bad decisions that you made.
-
Some of us, you can look at a letter you wrote to your future self when you were younger.
-
Remember the bad stuff as well.
-
But God, I'm commemorating the good moments.
-
Question, how do you do that?
-
How do you personally mark moments of God's goodness, faithfulness in your life?
-
That was the actual question.
-
What do you all do to remember the goodness of God?
-
To commemorate how good.
-
Would you remember that, to keep that, to where this is the day that I, for instance, one of mine is my anniversary.
-
I remember this day, 15 years ago, July 30th, 2011, I asked Tony.
-
No, me and Tony stood before the preacher, and I told her to think 55 times, but she said yes.
-
But he kept talking, she kept smiling.
-
He kept talking, she kept smiling.
-
And he finally said, Do you?
-
She said, I do.
-
I'm like, and there it was.
-
Okay.
-
No turning back now.
-
So of course, when I remember to, I wear a ring to remember that day.
-
All right.
-
What other things do we do to remember the good days, a good time?
-
Music reminds you.
-
Any particular song?
-
I love you asking the question.
-
Any particular song?
-
And they answer, yeah, that's a lot.
-
I love it.
-
I love it.
-
Yes, let's let's let's try it again.
-
Is it any particular song?
-
Withholding nothing.
-
Withholding nothing.
-
Okay, so once you hear withholding nothing, that's the one by William McDowell, right?
-
Okay, what does that remind you of?
-
All the time that you decide.
-
So have a song.
-
I like it.
-
Anybody else?
-
A ritual that you do to remember God's goodness towards you.
-
Birthday parties.
-
Happy early birthday to you, also.
-
So outside of remember you're born in the 1900s.
-
We would we were talking about earlier.
-
So remember you're born in the 1900s.
-
Like, what does that do for you?
-
Like, how does that day?
-
Outside of, I'm glad I'm still here.
-
Yeah.
-
I like it.
-
Gotcha.
-
Vacation.
-
Oh, Jesus.
-
Let us testify.
-
I was sort of thinking like, Tony, we need to play another one.
-
So how do vacations how do they mark those moments for you?
-
We go to the same place.
-
Yeah.
-
We remember where we stay, you know, where we ate at, uh, to get some photos of those pictures where you like that versus how uh they've got a little panoramic.
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah.
-
Uh to add it more green.
-
Well, you know, less.
-
I love it.
-
I love it.
-
I love it.
-
But see, moments that marked the good times.
-
That's what Sukhut was all about.
-
Honestly, a lot of times, a lot of the defeats, well, for that reason, right there, never forget.
-
Because that's what the enemy wants you to do.
-
If he gets you to forget the good things, then what happens is as you are walking by faith in progress toward there, if you don't remember what he's done, how he's brought you from here, from there to here, you're going to faint before the journey is complete.
-
It's an active thing that we have to intentionally do.
-
We have to intentionally fight to remember these things.
-
Because sometimes what you see, and y'all know me, a traumatic experience can alter your physical DNA.
-
So if trauma can physically alter your DNA, then that means we have to fight to remember the healing, restorative, protective power of God so that what was meant to alter you for the negative turns around to alter you for his glory.
-
Made you more bold about, you know what?
-
If he got me through that, this ain't nothing.
-
David, my favorite story about this one.
-
When he was running toward Goliath, what was he saying?
-
The same God that bought me from the hands of the lion and the bear will deliver you into my hand.
-
So your testimony has an encouraging effect for your future conquests.
-
That's why you cannot forget.
-
Write it down.
-
But don't be like the people who write stuff down but never read it.
-
Write it down and review.
-
Why?
-
Because there's a test coming.
-
As you're going through stuff, it's like you have a test coming up.
-
You're taking good notes.
-
You're taking copy notes.
-
Some of us are journaling.
-
We're taking copious notes.
-
What good is taking notes along the way you're not going to study when the test comes?
-
Even if you do have the crown.
-
What does it look like?
-
Yes, going back to your text.
-
Yes.
-
But at the same time, going back to your times when you walk with God and He bought you out.
-
Go back.
-
Look at your pages.
-
Look at what you wrote in the valley.
-
Look at what you wrote when you got out.
-
And so if the same, it takes the same amount of faith in God who bought you through last season to get you through this next.
-
But if we don't remember, actively fight to remember, the devil will fill your memory with some stuff.
-
And if we're not careful, it's gonna still kill and destroy your faith.
-
So Sucku says, don't be so consumed with what happened that you forget who kept you there.
-
Don't forget.
-
Most importantly, do not forget the deliverer.
-
Do not forget the healer.
-
Do not forget our redeemer.
-
But we have to actively do that.
-
It's like gratitude, keeping a gratitude journal.
-
Some people actually actually keep a gratitude journal, list of gratitude while they can remember what I'm grateful for, what I'm thankful for.
-
Add to that.
-
We should take, we should set monuments, we should set moments in our life.
-
Hey, I am grateful for this vacation.
-
I'm grateful for this birthday.
-
Every time this song comes on, we should go back.
-
Why?
-
Because grateful hearts.
-
Gratitude does a lot more than complaining in the spiritual realm.
-
Gratitude.
-
Let's keep it kicking.
-
So we have this.
-
Docada.
-
We have this thing that we're pushed to, that we're challenged for.
-
Do not forget.
-
Me and Tony, as we're going through this moment here, I remember talking to Susan about it.
-
She was like, hey, are you writing this stuff down?
-
The answer is not really.
-
Because it was literally a year ago, probably to the day, right, Scrooge?
-
That we were like, hey, we're bringing our kids out there on the square.
-
-
Hey, more people coming, the kids look inside their head, like, you're right.
-
Now they're out there, more people, yay! Not forgetting.
-
Not forgetting.
-
And honestly, I can already see what's on the horizon.
-
It's good.
-
But because of what he's done, the style between here and there, we will not grow weary.
-
Because we just saw what he's done in this last season.
-
That's why we cannot forget, we cannot let this stuff go what he's done.
-
Because if you do, when things look bleak, when a road gets heavy, when it's like, hey, it ain't gonna happen for you.
-
What you mean gonna happen?
-
Look at the same guy who did this, who did that, who did this, who that.
-
What you mean he ain't gonna come through now?
-
At the same guy yesterday, today, and forevermore.
-
The same guy.
-
Alright, let's run this off.
-
So, what does it mean?
-
I was looking up.
-
Let's go back to 20.
-
20 chapter 3.
-
Look at a couple different things.
-
We talk about boldness.
-
That's the difference between boldness or not definitely.
-
The primary difference between boldness and courage is you've heard me say this before.
-
Courage is internal.
-
Courage can be defined as the mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, difficulty, or pain.
-
Courage, the mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, difficulty, or pain.
-
The mental or moral strength to face fear, difficulty, missing one, and pain.
-
So courage is more internal.
-
When we say boldness, boldness is more external.
-
A difference.
-
Courage is more internal.
-
So I would have to say we have to come to a place within ourselves, like Joshua did, to where we could take bold actions.
-
God told Joshua a few times, be not afraid.
-
Be not afraid.
-
Be of good courage.
-
Why is that?
-
It's internal.
-
A lot of times, yes, what you see externally may cause fear internally, but God was dealing with the internal, with Joshua's mind, with his heart.
-
Would not be afraid.
-
Do not be afraid.
-
So I'm giving you the ability, the mental, and the moral strength to face what's in front of you and not let overwhelming.
-
And so, verse 4 and 5, and such trust we have through Christ.
-
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves.
-
God was like, look, I was with Moses, just chapter one for reference.
-
I juggle I was with Moses, I'll be with you.
-
Because a lot of times, what the enemy wants to do, he wants to make it about what we cannot do on our own.
-
And so he will keep reminding you, hey, you don't always talk the right way.
-
You don't always do this right.
-
You don't always do that right.
-
And so the devil wants to make it about you in your own flesh.
-
Which you can do on your own.
-
But since you've accepted Christ as first Lord and Savior, God, it would be an affront to God to see yourself without being empowered by Him.
-
The devil wants to make it about you on your own.
-
God wants to make it about you and His Son as one.
-
And the more the devil can persuade you about you on your own and separate you from God, what can separate us from the love of God?
-
What can separate you?
-
So now, far too many times we allow things to separate us.
-
When God's like, what do you mean you separate?
-
It's almost like having that parent, helicopter, bulldozer parent, you feel an abundance.
-
God is even worse.
-
God is worse.
-
What you mean, my child by himself?
-
No, I'm getting a walk.
-
I will fear no evil because thou art with me.
-
Even when Jesus left the scene, take comfort.
-
I'm gonna send you a one just like me who will be inside of you.
-
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
-
And that's one of the biggest battles that the enemy tried to get us caught up in.
-
But God, this is a finished gift.
-
What you mean?
-
My child is by himself out there without me to help them.
-
What you mean?
-
God is like, never.
-
Never.
-
Once you said Christ the first Lord and Savior, all of heaven came to dwell within you.
-
1 Corinthians chapter 6.
1 Corinthians 6 chapter mention
-
Once heaven came to dwell within you, now you and him are one.
-
So where you go, he goes.
-
Somebody need to remember that once you're pissed off.
-
Where you go there to tell somebody about themselves using none than words of Christ, know that he's right there with you, about to tell the people off.
-
Are convicted that that's not what he wants you to do?
-
Don't do it.
-
You, he will never leave you nor forsake you.
-
That's one of the fundamental differences between the old covenant and the new covenant.
-
Is the Holy Spirit, when Adam and Eve told him he can leave in the garden, he came upon people for service, then he left.
-
Unless you were the king, the prophet, or the priest, you did not carry the Holy Spirit with you at all times.
-
The Holy Spirit came upon you for service.
-
Whether it's something as simple as when they were building the tabernacle, he came upon this silversmith, and he helped them create designs, elaborate designs for the tabernacle.
-
He had the spirit upon him for that.
-
When that was complete, guess what happened?
-
The spirit lifted, he was gone.
-
Then you read through the Bible.
-
These great feats that were happened.
-
The Spirit was with them.
-
Then when the task was finished, he was gone.
-
All right, Juices, that's done.
-
New Testament comes.
-
Spirit is in us.
-
The Bible says, that's the first part of 2 Corinthians chapter 3.
2 Corinthians 3 chapter mention
-
We have a greater covenant.
-
We have a greater relationship.
-
We have greater promises.
-
And so the Spirit will never leave you.
-
Because he's always inside of you, convicting you, telling you which way to go.
-
Say this.
-
Don't say this.
-
Do this.
-
Don't do this.
-
Consider this.
-
Or he's tugging at your heart.
-
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
-
I know what they say.
-
I heard what they say, but walk in love.
-
No, Holy Spirit.
-
They need to be laid hands on.
-
Not this way, the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart, tugging at your heart, tugging at your heart.
-
That's why if you can take a moment and breathe, you realize they don't really feel right.
-
The Bible says, don't move forward, let you have peace.
-
If you don't got peace, don't say it.
-
Don't post it.
-
So I'm going to need to take a vacation first, then come back and do it.
-
So we have these things.
-
The Holy Spirit would never leave you.
-
You are not alone.
-
Michael Jackson didn't make that up.
-
You are not alone.
-
Some of y'all that should be on your playlist.
-
If you don't, bring it back.
-
We should play it on the way out.
-
You are not alone.
-
You need to hear that, because right now, the enemy wants to make you feel like you're alone.
-
Because if he can isolate you, guess what?
-
Isolation means that he can overpower you because you're by yourself, which is a fallacy, because you're not alone.
-
So if he can make you believe that you are alone, now I can manipulate your behavior to do stuff that is against what you're capable of doing, which got somebody else standing beside you.
-
Yes.
-
I'm not gonna say dust as the Lord, but put on your playlist.
-
You are not alone.
-
You are not alone.
-
But Reggie, I feel lonely.
-
Reggie, I turn around the house, ain't nobody in there.
-
You are not alone.
-
But Reggie, I'm the only one that thinks the way I think.
-
As long as it's within the limits of what the word says and it's led by the Spirit, you got peace about it.
-
You are not alone.
-
But Reggie, I'm the only one standing up for what I believe is right.
-
I'm fighting the power, Reggie.
-
You are not alone.
-
Reggie, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, and that's the problem right there.
-
It's a bunch of eyes.
-
It should be a bunch of we's.
-
You are not alone.
-
You're not alone.
-
So your confidence doesn't have to be in me and my ability alone.
-
No, it's my physical temple, because I gotta say it and act on it.
-
But with his divine enablement, his grace, what he told me I can do in his word, what he told me I can do in that prayer closet, he's telling you you can do it.
-
He's like, I dubb thee, I empower.
-
You go do it, go say it.
-
But too many times we see ourselves as small.
-
When he sees you as great.
-
And he can see you as great because he knows greater is he that is in you.
-
That's why I gotta renew our mind to see ourselves the way that he does.
-
Verse 5.
-
Our confidence is not in us of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God.
-
Verse 12.
-
Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.
-
It's the NLT version.
-
Seeing that we have such hope, we use why?
-
Since we have confidence in him, I can be bold.
-
Why?
-
Because it's almost like, nah, yeah.
-
All right, trust in him brings confidence, which brings boldness, confidence in Christ, which gives you, I can do all things through Christ.
-
Through Christ in Christ, which strengthens you.
-
Never see yourself outside of Christ.
-
Because nine times out of ten, the situation you face yourself in, the enemy wants to make you see yourself outside of Christ.
-
The enemy wants you to see yourself as less than who God says you are.
-
But Reggie, I don't want to think of myself more highly than I ought to.
-
Don't worry about it.
-
You can't get there yet because you ain't there yet.
-
Just come on.
-
Come on.
-
Come on.
-
Come on.
-
But Reggie, I want to be humble.
-
That's not humility.
-
That's not biblical humility.
-
That's crap.
-
Come on.
-
Come on.
-
See yourself the way God does.
-
See yourself the way God does, a little lower than him.
-
And there's a competent, there's a swagger.
-
I'm a sports guy.
-
Do you it's like having a sports team where all the characters in Madden are on 99?
-
If your whole team is on 99, are you worried about the Giants?
-
No.
-
You ain't worried about them.
-
Why?
-
Because I'm dealing with the All-Stars here.
-
What are you talking about?
-
No, I ain't worried about that.
-
Why my whole squad is 99?
-
This is my team.
-
And I ain't just riding the bitch either.
-
I'm a contributor.
-
I'm a team of all 99s.
-
So that means I'm a 99 too.
-
You are not the weak link in God's plan.
-
The enemy wants to make you believe that because he knows I can make you believe that what you do, you are denying the power thereof.
-
You are denying that power to do greater works.
-
And if I can get you to deny the power to do greater works, guess what you want to do?
-
Everything God says you can do.
-
Because if I can get you to not believe that, why bother?
-
And then you wonder why you're so dissatisfied, so depressed, because you know.
-
You know he told you why it burned in your heart.
-
You know he gave you that dream when you were younger, but the life is tried to beat it out of you.
-
Who you think sent that?
-
It ain't God.
-
And so God is like, hey, see yourself the way that I do.
-
See yourself as so valuable.
-
I'm willing to give my whole life for you.
-
I'm willing to literally go to hell on your behalf so you don't have to.
-
And if you would, you'll see heaven on earth and die and go to heaven.
-
And I promise you, there is better than the best we have to offer here.
-
Because I'm scared.
-
We got this philosophy that's going around.
-
Some people are starting to believe this is as good as it gets.
-
I don't care if you're at the best hotel, the most remote location, with the finest of fine dining, with the most beautiful people, with the most best DJs.
-
I don't care if you are the best of the best this world has to offer.
-
It pales in comparison to there.
-
Because if I don't believe there is better than here, then I'm gonna live like I got nothing to lose.
-
I got nothing to lose.
-
There's nothing over there anyway.
-
So yellow, baby.
-
Then you won't die and be like, oh, the streets are actually gold over there.
-
And did you all know?
-
This is my belief.
-
The distance between heaven and hell is not as wide as we think.
-
I can teach that next year.
-
It's cool because did you know that every time Jesus talked about hell, he was talking about a local landfill.
-
Right?
-
So we can find, I stay in Douglas County.
-
I can tell where the local landfill is.
-
It's not that far from my house, actually.
-
Not that far from your house.
-
So if he compare that to hell, then just think about that.
-
The distance between heaven and hell can't be that far.
-
Have some fun next year.
-
Because we talk about heaven, we have to talk about hell.
-
Yes, I'll send myself for got you.
-
So now, if it's not that far away, and that means the people that die and go to hell, that story of Abraham's bosom, Lazarus died, the rich man in Lazarus, he's able to look up and see, oh that I think that's more real than what we what we think.
-
They're gonna be walking on the streets of gold.
-
But if I think I'm yellow in here, then my life ends there.
-
That's a crappy thing to consider.
-
Yellow, I ain't seen gold streets here.
-
Yeah, you are.
-
I've seen some nice yellow paints on the sidelines, but that's really about it.
-
And so these people are gonna die and go to hell.
-
They're gonna look up and see gold streets.
-
Wow.
-
And they can't even, it's so dark down here.
-
I don't know if I can no.
-
So because we are love, yet I walk through the valley, the shadow of death.
-
Maybe your shadow doesn't look like death.
-
Maybe your shadow looks like doubt, word, stress.
-
Maybe your shadow looks like lack of provision.
-
Maybe your shadow looks like it's never gonna happen.
-
I will fear no evil.
-
Why?
-
Because thou, he is with me.
-
So I can live bold here because I know he is with me here.
-
Do not allow the enemy to lie and tell you God is not with you.
-
But Reggie, I sinned, I messed up.
-
Okay, and you're forgiven.
-
I am, yeah.
-
When?
-
When that dude died on the cross, Easter, Passover, however you want to put it, you're forgiven.
-
So now if he can get you to see yourself as forgiven, what you can live for.
-
I like it.
-
I like it.
-
Biblical courage is not the absence of a situation that can cause debt, doubt, word, stress, or fear.
-
But biblical courage says I will not be afraid or I would not succumb to what's in front of me.
-
I would not allow this to have the think about the situation.
-
I will not allow this to have the final say when I speak over the situation.
-
I will not allow the fear to dictate my actions in doing the situation.
-
No.
-
Nah, that's done.
-
That's done.
-
And why is that?
-
Because we spent time with him.
-
We meditated on how much he loves us.
-
And we perfect love cast out fear.
-
Yeah.
-
So let's pray.
-
Father God, we love you.
-
We thank you, Father God, this day that you have.
-
We thank you that for your love is shed abri in our hearts so much so that we can live on earth as is in heaven.
-
As we get ready, dear God, to go higher.
-
You're calling us higher.
-
I know you're calling me and these people have to be led and guided by you to love and support us.
-
You're calling us higher.
-
I thank you.
-
That we will not be afraid, that we will not be moved by what we see, but we're moved by what you say.
-
Let your words be a level to our feet and light and to our path, Father God.
-
And I pray to God that we will meditate on your words so much that you will hide it in our heart so that we will not miss the mark or sin against you.
-
I thank you, Father God, you said in 1 John, we write these things that we do not have to sin.
-
We don't have to miss the mark.
-
We can get it every single time.
-
So I just thank you that as we grow in you, as we learn to hear your voice, that we renew our mind more and more to what you say.
-
And let what you say govern how we respond or how we handle things on this earth.
-
Thank you, dear God, for giving us dominion and authority.
-
But calling us, dear God, to places and spaces, even for such as for seasons, whether it's a long season or short season, you call us, you're assigned us there to bring heaven there.
-
You assign us, dear God, to places where there's darkness to bring heaven there.
-
You're allowing us, Heavenly Father, to be in places where hell is increasingly getting darker to bring heaven to earth.
-
So, Lord God, in Carrollton, as is in heaven.
-
In Marietta, as the people driven from Marriott, I think all various parts, as is in heaven, Father God.
-
In South Paul, as it is in heaven, in South Fulton, in College Park, as in heaven, Father God.
-
In the Metro Atlanta, in the U.S., on earth as is in heaven.
-
And we will do our part by saying as you have us to say and doing as you will have us to do.
-
And trust and believe that all things are possible.
-
If you said it, we shall see.
-
We thank you for Sol91 Protection.
-
We thank you for the prayer of Jabez.
-
Enlarge our territory, keep us away from evil, dear God, so they may not harm us.
-
We thank you for that right now.
-
As we walk by faith in what you say.
-
Because what we see has to bow down to what you say.
-
Thank you, Father God.
-
Holy Spirit, you're welcome.
-
Do as you only can do.
-
Thank you for divine ablement.
-
We love you.
-
We give you all the glory, all the honor, all the praise.
-
Mighty and precious name of Jesus.
-
Amen.
-
So since we're there, next month we'll talk about B-O-L-D.
-
Believe in God, obeying His Word, live empowered by the Spirit, and discipling the nations.
-
Thank you all so much.
-
And I will turn it over
