Praise the Lord, everybody.

This is Jody Kagel with Jodie Kagel Ministries.

I want to say thank you for tuning in today.

What a blessing it is to be able to share with you today and to bring you the word of the Lord.

Hallelujah.

Praise God.

Well, we have good news to bring.

We just got back from Canada, praise God, just several days ago.

And what a tremendous move of God we had.

Hallelujah.

Three services at one church and one service at another church.

It's our first time there in Toronto area.

And what a blessing it was.

We had two people saved.

We have many people healed.

And man, the Spirit of God, the anointing of the Holy Ghost was all over and moving in all of our services.

What a blessing it was.

And so with that being said, two more people saved in Canada.

So we're up to 60 now.

Praise God.

And we only go in our vision is to 75.

Of course, we want to go farther than that, but we're believing God for at least 15 more.

Amen.

For 75 people this year.

And so praise God.

We're in October and we're going to get it.

Amen.

In Jesus' name.

And so we want to say thank you to our partners, man.

We could not do this without you.

Thank you for sending us.

Thank you for supporting us.

Thank you for praying for us.

We really appreciate it from the bottom of our heart.

We do have one announcement that when you hear this uh, you know, uh on Saturday, uh, we are preaching on Sunday, but then we have the distinct privilege and honor uh to be invited to the White House uh with the uh prayer group uh that is covering the president.

And so uh we are so excited to be invited.

So we're going there Tuesday and Wednesday of this coming week, and so we ask you to pray for us.

This is over and above our regular budget for plane tickets, for hotel, for food, and all of that.

And so if you would like to support us in that way and help us out with this cost, that would be wonderful.

Just pray about it.

Uh so praise God.

But uh, I want to talk to you on a subject about coming through today.

Coming through.

I know a lot of people face a lot of different situations and circumstances, and uh, you know, a lot of people say uh living this Christian life is better than anything, and it is.

Serving Jesus is better than anything, but a lot of people don't understand living this Christian life is not a piece of cake.

Amen.

It's not a piece of cake.

There's some rough waters, there's some uh times where you have to trust the Lord, and you really have to dig in deep because believers uh know we have victory in Jesus, but uh, you know, still we have to we have the power in him to triumph over every situation, every circumstance.

But sometimes we encounter the troubles and the trials that shake us uh and maybe you know just kind of catch us off guard and really test our faith.

Hallelujah.

And so uh we want to talk about that today because um we find an example in Habakkuk verse one or chapter one, verse two, he says this, he said, O Lord, how long shall I cry for help and you shall not hear?

Oh, or cry out to you of violence, and you will not save.

And so almost every Christian in this uh earth probably has been tempted to ask such a question at one time or another to God or about his word or you know, just about everything.

You know, it might be because they needed healing, they need to answer prayers, they need financial blessing, they needed a job, whatever the case may be.

A lot of times uh we have been tempted, maybe not did it, but we have been tempted to ask that question as Habakkuk did.

And so um in these kinds of situations, though, we can all make the mistake Habakkuk did and ask that question to God.

So we have to be careful.

We can be tempted to give in.

We can be tempted to stop and to quit, but that's not gonna bring victory to us if we stop and give in or quit.

No, we uh need to understand that that's the first thing that we don't need to do is quit or stop or give up.

And the second thing is don't question God.

Amen.

Why is this taking so long?

Or why aren't you helping me?

Are you listening to me?

You know, those types of questions we should never ask God because the trouble in our lives is never God's fault.

And I want you to hear me.

The trouble in our lives are never God's fault.

He is never behind it.

When we can't seem to get answers, watch this, to our prayers, he is not the problem.

No, we must point the fingers back at ourselves.

The problem is always on our end.

Habakkuk actually can confirm that uh because he learned that lesson well when God answered his questions.

Listen to this with one thing.

Watch this one simple statement.

The just shall live by faith.

That's Habakkuk 2.4.

The just shall live by faith.

So how shall we live?

By faith.

Uh when?

Every day.

Faith is always in the now.

So the just, that's us, the righteous, shall live by faith.

So the just and the uncompromisingly righteous man, that's what the amplified classic said, shall live by his faith and in his faithfulness.

So listen to this the just and the uncompromisingly righteous.

So that means you're not compromising.

You're not living like God one day and the devil the next day.

You're not living according to the word one day and not according to word the next day.

You're not allowing the devil to come in and steal and kill and destroy or detour you.

No, you're staying righteous.

What is righteous?

Right, standing with God.

You're obeying God the best of your ability.

You're listening to God the best of your ability.

You're doing what God's wanting you to do.

So the just and the uncompromisingly righteous man shall live by faith and in his faithfulness.

So there's where Habakkuk missed it.

He started complaining about the storm.

And the Lord, uh, and he complained about the Lord, and then he pleaded with him to fix the storm around them.

But he hasn't, he wasn't going to fix, God wasn't going to fix the storm.

No, God told them, the just shall live by faith.

You fix the storm.

Amen.

You got the faith in you uh that I gave you, the mustard seed faith.

Believe in me, you speak to the storm.

And so God works with faith, and Abaca couldn't figure it out.

He couldn't give, uh, he didn't give that.

He hadn't given any time to faith and for it to work.

And that's that's the first question we must ask.

Have we given time to faith?

Have we built our faith in the word?

Are we truly trusting in the Lord?

Are we truly speaking by faith and not by fear and not by doubt?

We're not allowing letting our thoughts uh race and take us down the wrong road.

We're not allowing our emotions to take us down a wrong road.

And so I want to I want to talk to you about this because we've been walking by faith for years.

A lot of us have.

And so we know how to do this on our part.

We know to do my part.

But guess what?

That might be true.

But no matter how much you know about faith, and no matter how much you know about God and the word, can I tell you, if we don't stay on top of things, things can slip in our life.

When we don't stay on top of it, we can be complaining instead of praising or instead of uh thanksgiving.

And so we have to stay on top of it.

And so our faith has to stay refreshed, and we have to uh we always have to continue to encourage ourselves in the Lord according to the word of God.

And so uh we must remember, though, the way that God expects us to live is just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

And what happened?

You remember these three.

Uh, they went through a time of trouble, the likes of which most of us will never experience.

We're thrown into a fire.

They were literally thrown into that raging um inferno, simply refusing to worship.

Watch this, a king's idol.

And so we're talking about Shadrach, Meshach, and Bindigo, and they was thrown in there and they didn't know what up to what to do.

They didn't know how to get out.

They was forcing them to stay in, but guess what they did?

They lifted up their faith shield and quenched the all the fiery darts of the devil.

And so they not only survived the fire, they come out unharmed.

Praise God.

Not a hair on their head was singed, and uh, those clothing was not scorched, they didn't even smell of smoke, praise God.

That's Daniel 3, 27.

And so I can tell you that uh we have to make sure that we're strong in our faith.

And here's the key giving glory to God.

Hallelujah.

Strong in faith, giving glory to God.

Amen.

And so we're out of time.

Uh, the Lord's really kind of put it on my heart just to ask you$50 a month would be a great blessing.
