These lunchtime live streams on my lunch break. So, God
-
bless everybody. Matthew Miller here from Maranatha Ministries. Today we're
-
going to be going over the simple fact that Jesus
-
Christ calls the birth pangs the lesser tribulation. That's what
-
He does. So, take note that in the first seven
-
verses of Matthew chapter 24, He states those are the
Matthew 24 chapter mention
-
seal judgments. They literally line up exactly. They are categorically
-
what's going on during this time. So in verse 8
-
he says, these sealed judgments are what? All these are
-
the beginning of sorrows from the New King James Version.
-
That in the Greek is the Greek word odin. Odin.
-
That is G5604 in the Strong's Concordance. And that's why
-
I'm trying to do this. I'm trying to get you
-
to realize the word is not in English. It's not
-
any translation. It's not in a German translation. It's not
-
in a Spanish translation. The word is written in Hebrew
-
and Greek. So you have to get to that. And
-
the easiest way to do that online is with the
-
Strong's Concordance. So you can look these things up. So
-
this is clearly both the KJV and the New King
-
James Version. Both here are mistranslations. Odin in Greek means contractions.
-
That's what it means, contractions. The paying of birth. So,
-
what's verse 9 say? Verse 9 says that during this,
-
what is it? Verse 9. Then they will deliver you
-
up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be
-
hated by all nations for my namesake. Here, it is
-
literally that Greek word for, Tribulation. It is the Greek
-
word 2347. Thalipsis. It's thalipsis in Greek. It's tribulation. This
-
is the same exact word he's going to use here
-
in just several short verses. So he says the birth
-
pangs are the tribulation. Okay? And during this time, they
-
will make martyrs out of you. That's what he's saying.
-
When you kill someone who's been born again, they're a martyr.
-
When you kill someone who's been baptized in the Holy Spirit,
-
they're a martyr. That's what they are. So verse 10.
-
And then many will be offended and will betray one
-
another and will hate one another. This is talking about
-
inside the church buildings. This is going on inside the
-
church buildings. Verse 11. Then many false prophets will rise
-
up and deceive many. These false prophets aren't atheists. These
-
false prophets aren't Muslims. These false prophets aren't Buddhists. These
-
false prophets are inside your church buildings. They're your fellow
-
congregants who have not been born again. Verse 12. And
-
because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
-
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
-
Verse 12 says, exemplifies how those of us that's been
-
born again, and we don't practice lawlessness. We don't lie.
-
If you lie, you're practicing lawlessness. If you commit adultery
-
on your spouse, you're committing lawlessness. If you euthanize your parents,
-
you're committing lawlessness. If you're aborting your babies, you're committing lawlessness.
-
This is coming inside the church, and he's saying those
-
of us that's been born again, that don't practice lawlessness,
-
we must endure this to the end. Verse 14, and
-
this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all
-
the world as a witness to all the nations, and
-
then the end will come. He's getting ready to categorically
-
tell you the end of Daniel's 70th week. The first
-
three and a half years was spent during Jesus Christ
-
earthly ministry. That is plainly laid out in Daniel chapter 9.
Daniel 9 chapter mention
-
It's plainly laid out. Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 to 27.
-
It's plainly laid out. So he's telling you that the
-
great tribulation is the last three and a half years.
-
That's what he's saying. And he's going to tell you
-
what starts that three and a half year tribulation. Verse 15,
-
Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of
-
by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, whoever reads,
-
let him understand. Then let those who are in Judea
-
flee to the mountains. Let him who is in the
-
housetop not go down to take anything out of his house,
-
and let him who is in the field not go
-
back to get his clothes. But woe to those who
-
are pregnant and those who are nursing babies in those days,
-
and pray your flight not be in the winter or
-
on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation,
-
such as not been since the beginning of the world
-
until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless
-
those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved, but
-
for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened. Let's
-
stop it right there. So he just categorically told you
-
that during the sealed judgments, It will be business as usual.
-
But once that abomination, once that abominable Passover desolation happens,
-
you need to know your society is over. It's time
-
for the sixth seal event. The sixth seal event is
-
the day of the Lord. That's beyond contestation. The sixth
-
seal is the great day of the Lord. That is
-
what starts the tribulation. It's right there. So you need
-
to know that this is Jesus Christ speaking. He called
-
the birth pangs tribulation. And he called after that, the
-
last three and a half years of the end, he
-
called that great tribulation. So the birth pangs are the
-
lesser tribulation. And this is when the great apostasy takes place.
-
This is when it happens. And it will be on
-
a buildup. And it will be business as usual until
-
the sixth seal event. And then every society on this
-
planet will be destroyed. It'll be destroyed. There'll be no
-
more trains, planes, automobiles. God stops all that nonsense. God
-
stops all that nonsense. So you need to understand, this
-
categorically just said that. Just come right out and told you.
-
Jesus Christ laid it out for you systematically and categorically
-
how it's going to happen. Categorically by two different things.
-
The tribulation and the great tribulation. And he calls the
-
great tribulation the end. The end being the end of
-
Daniel's 70th week. That's what it is the end of.
-
So when you know this, It makes everything make sense
-
in the end times. Makes the whole end times make sense.
-
All of it. All of it. So, take note. We're
-
going to read here from Daniel chapter 9. And it
Daniel 9 chapter mention
-
comes right out and tells you exactly how it's going
-
to be. And take note that verse 26 states it categorically.
-
And after 62 weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but
-
not for himself. You're supposed to know that is the
-
final week because he already told you about the first
-
seven weeks. And then he told you about the next
-
62 weeks. After that is the 70th week. And he's
-
saying in the middle of that week, Messiah would be crucified.
-
And he was. So we have three and a half years.
-
of the end to go. This is why it's said
-
seven different times, three different ways, in both the Old
-
and New Testaments, in Daniel and in Revelation. The end,
-
the great tribulation, is three and a half years. It
-
calls it times, time and a half a time. It
-
calls it 1,260 days, and it calls it 42 months.
-
And it says, Those things have been cut short. They
-
are shorter in every way, shape, or form than our
-
literal three and a half years. And you're supposed to
-
know why. There's a reason for that. The reason for
-
that is, is because Jesus Christ was crucified on Passover,
-
but he didn't ascend into heaven until 40 days later.
-
So no matter what, you got to take 40 days
-
off the latter half of the week and apply it
-
to the former half of the week. week. I mean,
-
it doesn't take a rocket scientist degree to figure out.
-
Daniel's 70th week is not broken exactly in half because
-
those 40 extra days before he ascended to heaven. That's
-
the whole point. So, I hope you did enjoy. And
