Good morning, church family.
-
This is Melinda.
-
And today, on our daily walk, we'll be looking at what Pastor Aaron will be preaching on this coming Sunday.
-
Philippians chapter 2, we're slowing it down, and we're too really we're looking at two verses, which is Philippians 2, verses 1 and 2.
Philippians 2 chapter mention Philippians 2:1
-
And God's word says, So if there's any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord, and of one mind.
-
I would encourage you to open your Bible, read this verse so you can kind of see all the different things that Paul is talking about.
-
See, Paul knew that encouragement, participation in the spirit, affection, and sympathy are realities that we are, that we have in Christ, and that they are to be present not only in our own lives, but also in the life of our church.
-
And he uses this conditional sentence if to leave the Philippian church to reflect on whether the qualities are evident in their lives.
-
And there's something that it's the same thing that we are to look at and reflect on, if these are qualities in our own lives.
-
Any participation in the Spirit?
-
Are you actively calling on and filling that the Spirit lead in your life?
-
Are you people that have affection and sympathy for others?
-
And if so, your joy is to be made complete by having the same mind and having the same love and being in full accord and of one mind.
-
Hope you have a great week.
