Hallelujah.

And uh let's go over to John 17.

I'm not gonna be before you long.

But we have some things to say.

You know, I was ministering, and I believe it was this past Sunday, and I was talking about uh I was at uh Minister's Conference, the Jerry's Minister's Conference, the the year the it was November after he had passed away, passed away in April, November, and um a friend of mine was ministering, and he was talking about some things, and the context that he was talking in is is is uh maybe you know things that you used to know or whatever the case may be.

And he used kept using this statement, and he said, You you've gotta go, you gotta go in the basement and get them out of the basement and pull them back out and and look at them, or whatever the case may be.

And that's all obviously the truth.

But you know, the the book of Hebrews tells us this: it said, we should give even more earnest heed to the things that we've learned.

Anytime we let them slip, right?

So he's saying you need to look at it even harder, you need to look at it even more closely.

All right, and notice he said the things you've learned, right?

The things you've learned.

So you learned this.

Hallelujah.

You know, when when when you start helping a nine-year-old with their math, you're having to pull things back because it's not something you look you look at all the time.

And so we were doing math the other day, and it said uh something like 14 plus a equals, and I had to stop and remember what the numerical value for A was.

Right?

Because I don't know about you, but when I'm doing my checkbook, there's never an A in my checkbook.

Right?

It's numbers.

I never figured out how numbers and letters go together.

But here's the thing you know, there's there's there's a recollection that occurs.

I gotta pull it up, it's there.

I gotta pull it up.

He said, I don't want you to let it slip.

Why doesn't he want us to let it slip?

Because that is something that is imperative for your future success.

What I heard, what I heard last night about the power of my words, right?

There will always be people that will say, yeah, the power of your words, and they'll just kind of say, Yeah, you gotta say the right thing, you gotta this, you gotta that.

They're letting it slip.

They're letting it slip.

It doesn't mean to them what it used to mean to them.

Right?

Remember when you first heard about the power of your words?

Man, you were watching everything you said.

Oh, right?

And and and as you go forward, it's like I can know that's true, but I've let the importance of it slip.

Right?

What Jeremy was talking about, how important is it that you always remember that God is only good?

It's vital.

It's vital because if you're not only thinking that way, then when something bad happens, the deceiver, everybody say the deceiver, the deceiver will come and implant a thought into your mind that God had something to do with this.

And if he can't convince you that God had something to do with this, he'll convince you that it's your fault and God allowed it.

But when you answer that thought with this statement, nope, God is only good.

God only has good for me.

Every good and every perfect gift comes down from God, it only comes from Him.

Every bad, evil, wicked thing comes from the devil.

How important is that?

Vital.

Vital, it's vital to your faith.

You listen, you will not properly believe God if you don't think about God right.

You won't properly believe God.

Because the Bible says every good thing comes from God.

If I'm not properly thinking about God, I'm not gonna believe right.

And if I don't believe right, I'm not gonna speak right.

And if I speak right, I'm not gonna, if I don't speak right, I'm not gonna receive right.

So I've got to not let those things slip.

Hallelujah.

John 17 and verse 17, a familiar verse, but he says, Sanctify, set them apart through thy truth.

Your word is truth.

Sanctify them through your truth.

Your word.

So what sets us apart is we believe the truth.

That's what sets us apart.

Amen.

Every situation we put the word first.

Not what we think, not what we're facing, but what the word says.

What does the word say?

Why?

Because that's truth.

Truth meaning what is true in any situation under consideration.

Right?

The word is true in anything under consideration.

Amen.

So when we take the time to get the word into us, we're taking the time to get the truth about the situation into us.

Hallelujah.

That's spiritual law.

Amen.

What radically transformed my life over 30 years ago, I heard Brother Copeland say that there are laws governing every single thing in existence.

Every single thing in existence.

There are laws that are governing it.

There's laws of the spirit and there's laws of the natural world.

But they govern every single thing in existence.

Right?

When you got up this morning, you did not have to wonder, am I going to float to the ceiling when I get out of bed?

Because you understand that the law of gravity is in operation, right?

Every single day.

Every single day.

It can be superseded, it can be overcome momentarily with a law of lift and the law of thrust, but that plane's got to come back down.

Why?

Because everything that goes up must come down.

Why?

There's a law in operation.

Anything that you believe about the Word of God must come to pass because there's the law of faith that is in operation.

It's a law.

It is a law.

Law is a faith is a law in the spirit realm.

You will have what you believe.

Amen.

I gotta realize that the spiritual world and its laws are more powerful than the physical world and its laws.

Hallelujah.

Why?

Spiritual law gave birth to physical law.

Everything I see in the natural is just a child of the greater spiritual realm.

Hallelujah.

In uh Romans 8, 1 and 2.

And this is how you have to think.

I have to think that I'm operating these spiritual laws.

This is not iffy, this is not maybe so, this is not might happen.

This is a spiritual law.

It's unbendable, it's unshakable, it's undefeatable.

When I operate it, and my mindset is I'm operating a spiritual law here.

Alright, this is this is not might happen, this is will happen.

Amen.

Romans 8, 1 and 2.

These two verses change my life.

It says, There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk after the flesh, but after the spirit, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Hallelujah.

So there's the law of the spirit of life in Christ and the law of sin and death.

A law is something that's established.

It's established.

There is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

Alright?

That's why you have to make much of your redemption.

Because you are in Christ.

And in Christ, the law of the Spirit of life is in operation.

In Christ.

In him.

Hallelujah.

You see that?

We quote the scripture: if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

If we believe that as strongly as we preach it, why would we talk about our old selves so much?

See, it's a law.

When I became born again, I became a new creature.

Old things literally passed away, and all things literally became new.

Amen.

So it doesn't matter what mama did, daddy did, grandma, Puki Ray Ray, Shakuieta, all of them.

It doesn't matter what they did to me, how I was raised, how I was not raised, what they did for me, what they didn't do for me, that's all done.

I'm a new creature in Christ Jesus.

I have taken on the traits of my father God and my elder brother Jesus, and none of that other stuff matters.

Oh, hallelujah.

And I'm operating how?

Under the law of the Spirit of life.

That's in Christ Jesus.

Oh, hallelujah.

So these laws are summed up in this manner: Christ brings the law of the Spirit of life.

Sin and disobedience bring the law of sin and death.

Amen.

Both of these are laws, but one of them is the greater law.

One of them is the greater law.

And when you're dealing with any issue in life, you have to turn to and agree with the greater law.

This is what I see in the word.

What is the word?

Truth.

So what do I see in the word?

I turn to that and I agree with that.

Amen.

Say it out loud.

No matter what I'm facing, I go to the word.

Say it one more time.

No matter what I'm facing, I go to the word.

I go to the word.

Amen.

When Pastor Michelle and I, we had not been married, well, we had not only been married uh not even a year, six, eight months, whatever the case was, I forget.

But uh she she went to the doctor to have uh uh her uh visit, she was pregnant, and she went to have her visit, and the doctor uh began to notice some abnormalities and these things.

And I've told that story about uh we lost our first child, and we and we say that because we we understand that he's not in our past, he's in our future.

But the the point is this is that when I got home from the hospital that night and I got her settled, you know, uh our pastor called us, and I was sharing this with some of the gentlemen this morning, and uh he made the statement well, we don't know why God allows these things.

Now, understand, he's a well-meaning man.

He he he he just didn't know any better himself.

But here's the thing I remember getting off the phone with him, I thanked him, I got off the phone with him, and understand, I wasn't mad at God, I wasn't shaking my fist at God, I wasn't yelling, I wasn't even saying, why did you let this happen?

Right?

But I made the decision after that phone call.

Now, wait a minute.

If I can't depend on God to do good, if if God would allow my child to be taken, I don't know that I can serve him.

Right?

I just don't know that I can.

Amen.

But see, I was smart enough to say, now, Lord, what's the answer here?

Because I need to know.

And I even told my wife, I don't know why this happened, but I'll find out.

We'll find out.

And I went to the Word and I found the scripture.

Uh, first time I'd ever read it.

I don't know why I'd never read it before.

The thief, I think, was it both of y'all quoted it today, I think.

The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

I've come that they might have life and might have it more abundantly.

Now, this is the way my mind thinks.

If I see Jesus say, I have only come to give life and life more abundantly, that settles it for me.

If he said, That's the only reason why I came, then there's no question.

So he's not involved in death.

Well, what did I do?

I lifted my hand to the Lord and I said, Okay, I see it.

Now I don't know how the enemy got in here, but I'll make sure he doesn't get in again.

Right?

Now I know that sounds simple, but what did I just do?

I entered into the law of the spirit of life.

I started operating the law.

I went to the word.

I didn't let my circumstance turn me against the things of God.

Turn me against the word.

Amen.

The enemy is counting on your situation, wearing you out, and causing you to weaken in your faith and get you to turn against the word.

He wants you to turn against the word of God.

Right?

Why?

Because now you're working against the greater law.

You can't work against the greater law and be successful.

Anytime somebody believes something contrary to the word, they're believing the lesser law.

Amen.

That's why the Bible, what's it say about you and I?

It says that, thanks be to God, that always causes us to triumph.

Always causes, always.

So, how could God be involved in defeat if he's always causing you to triumph?

That's the law of the spirit of life.

Well, I don't know what God's trying to teach me.

Nothing, nothing, zero, nothing.

He's not trying to teach you anything with that bad situation.

Nothing.

Zero.

Amen.

Well, what'd you learn out of that?

It hurts.

That's what I learned.

That's all I learned was it hurts.

Right?

You learn nothing new from the second kick of a mule.

You just learned to stay out of the way.

Right?

If he gets you twice, you didn't learn very much.

This is just important.

Am I helping you?

The law, the law, the law of the spirit of life.

That's in Christ Jesus.

Amen.

Most people never take that past their salvation experience.

That's it.

That's as far as the law of the spirit of life operates in their life.

When you're operating in the law of the spirit of life, it infects and it changes everything about your life.

Because I'm operating in the law of the spirit of life.

It affects your health, it affects your spirit, it affects your finances, it affects your relationship.

When you get the law of the spirit of life operating in your finances, they're going to change.

Because the life of God is there.

What's the problem in the person that doesn't believe God with their finances?

What's the problem?

The life of God's not there.

Amen.

So it's hard to see the abundance because the life of God's not there.

When you turn to the greater law, oh, wait a minute, I have given.

Therefore it is given.

Now, is that truth?

Now, I don't mean, do we quote it?

I mean, is that truth?

Because if that's truth to me, and I'm declaring it out of a heart of faith, what did both the gentlemen that went before me today, what did they say?

You'll have what you say.

Brother Kevin kept emphasizing, if you believe.

Right?

So I'm standing on the word.

The word cannot lie.

It is truth.

So, so so where is the emphasis placed?

What do I believe about the word that cannot lie and the word that is truth?

What do I believe about it?

Amen.

Well, I'll tell you what I believed just this morning.

I believe that the word of God will heal you of cancer.

When they say it's bad, there's no hope, but here we are alive and well today.

I believe the word will keep you in tragedy and keep you in times of testing.

Why?

Because the Bible says that the word of God is a shield around about the righteous.

That's what it says.

And so what you need to not focus on is what happened and focus on what God did in what happened.

Glory be to God.

Amen.

I've had people say, Well, you know, I almost died.

Almost! Almost, but you didn't.

Amen.

Why?

God kept you.

Why?

Because the law of the spirit.

Death couldn't win because we were covered by the law of the spirit of life.

Oh, hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

Do you see that?

So yeah, well, I almost lost everything, but you didn't.

And you almost, but no, I didn't.

David said, I almost slipped, but the Lord held me up.

Oh, glory to God.

Amen.

I love the way I love the way David would say that.

He said, I was almost in the house of the dead, but the Lord sustained me.

I was almost done with, but God protected me.

I was a long way from having been done.

That's why Psalm 91 says, What?

A thousand will fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me.

Now wait a minute.

Why?

The law of the spirit of life.

It's a law.

Tragedy can happen over here, tragedy can happen over there, and I just walk out.

Why?

The law of the spirit of life.

And people say, well, you just never know what might happen.

Yes, I do.

I know what will happen in every situation.

In my pathway is life, and there is no death.

Because I'm operating in the law of the spirit of life.

Amen.

Tell your neighbors, say, I believe you're in the law of the spirit of life.

Hallelujah.

So I've been made free, totally free.

Not somewhat free.

I've not been made free and living bound.

Amen.

The definition of foolishness is being made free and living like you're not.

Amen.

This is important.

And and our words are so crucial there.

You've been made free from poverty.

Why talk about the effects of the economy when you've been made free from poverty?

Are you only made free from poverty if everything seems to be going right?

Or am I free from poverty?

I'm free from poverty.

Why the law of the spirit of life?

To the extent that you live this law of the spirit of life is the extent you'll see success in your life.

Amen.

So notice that the law of the spirit of life has made me free.

Has made me free.

I said many believers never take this past their salvation.

They believe that they're free from sin in the sense that they're not doing certain things.

I've been made free from, and they'll name the sin that they've been delivered from.

But being made free from the law of sin and death, that covered every part of man's existence.

That law no longer governs me.

Amen.

Do you see that?

That's why it bothers me.

I'll hear people in church saying, Well, we're all just broken people.

Speak for yourself.

I'm not broken.

There's nothing broken about me.

The Bible says, what's the Bible say in Colossians?

You are complete in him.

I'm complete in him.

Amen.

There's maturity that has to occur, but I'm complete in him.

I'm complete in him.

There's nothing broken in me.

Nothing.

Hallelujah.

Glory to God.

I'm not a sinner.

I'm not a sinner.

Well, you know, we're all just sinners.

Nope, no, we're not.

Not according to the word of God.

I can't be a sinner and be righteous.

Sinners are not righteous.

Right?

Unbelievers are not righteous.

I'm righteous.

I'm holy.

The Bible says I'm holy.

Amen.

And religion will teach, well, you know, don't call yourself holy.

I didn't call myself holy.

God called me holy.

So I'll just say what God said about me.

Thank you.

Amen.

This is important.

The more you don't see yourself covered by this law of sin of the spirit of life, the deeper you go in the hole the other way.

And the more you go in that hole that way, the more you open the door for the devil to convince you that God's got a hand in these things that are going on.

Oh, hallelujah.

The Moffat translation says, the law of the Spirit brings the life which is in Christ Jesus.

Well, what life is that?

Well, the scripture says it's the same life, the same power, the same glory that raised Jesus from the dead.

That's what dwells on the inside of you.

Oh, hallelujah.

Another translation, the Walker translation, says.

It's Chuck Norris's translation.

It just says this.

What the?

That's it.

No, not really.

It says, For the law and power of the spirit life in and through Christ Jesus has made me free from the law and dominion of sin and death.

I cannot be dominated by sin and death because I'm dominated by the spirit of life.

Oh, hallelujah.

Glory to God.

Glory to God.

So the law of the spirit of life displaces the law of sin and death.

Now that has to be believed.

The law of the spirit of life displaces the law of sin and death.

Sickness, poverty, oppression are all part of the law of sin and death.

And the law of the spirit of life displaces that law.

It cannot function in my life if I'm giving myself to the law of the spirit of life.

Hallelujah.

And that greater law, like we said, that greater law has to be turned to.

I've got to turn to it.

No matter the circumstance.

I'm turning to that greater law.

Amen.

And then it becomes my immediate response.

I don't even have to think about it.

Yeah, but the word says.

Right?

But the word says.

This is what the word says.

Say out loud, this is what the word says.

This is what the word says.

Right?

So you train yourself.

You don't just memorize the word.

You know what the word says from the heart-spirit level.

And every right, every every time, every time that something occurs, you're asking, what does the word say?

Every time there's a need, what does the word say?

Whatever the case may be, what does the word say?

Now I'm turning to that greater law.

And if you've got to do that a hundred times a day, you do that a hundred times a day.

And you answer the thought that way.

Yeah, but the word says.

Yeah, but the word says.

Yes, but the word says.

Right?

When somebody says something that's not right, you say, Yes, but the word says.

Oh, hallelujah.

Do you see that?

Well, I went to the doctor and I got this bad report, and they said, you know, that it could be six months, eight months.

Yes, but the word says that you will not die, but you will live.

Amen.

Amen.

Right?

Do you see how important it is that you're jumping on that and pulling yourself up over under the law of the spirit of life?

You don't give that other law an opportunity to try to work.

Amen.

Do you see that?

Well, the doctor said this, listen, listen, I've dealt with people that the and and issues that the doctor looked and said, watch.

Zero percent chance of living.

Zero percent.

But that person's alive today.

What is faith?

It is the substance, the grounds, the conviction of things hoped for, of things expected.

Who's telling you what to expect?

Nobody has the right to tell you what you've got to expect.

I expect what God said.

I expect what God said.

Amen.

But people let other individuals tell them what to expect every day.

Well, I know you're looking for a house and I know this, but you know, don't expect too much.

Run from that person.

Do one of two things.

Run or kick them in the head.

Run, do something.

Right?

Hallelujah.

That's from the Walker translation again.

Hallelujah.

But don't let them tell you what to expect.

Right?

You go to the doctor, and the doctor says you've got this disease.

And then he starts telling you what to expect and the symptoms to expect.

I'm not against the doctor, they're just doing their job.

But here's what I'm trying to say a lot of people walk out of the doctor's office with their expectation formed by somebody that is totally moved by what they can see physically.

And we walk by not by hallelujah.

Do you see that?

Well, you know, your heart's this and your heart's that, and you know you got this problem and you got that problem.

So you're telling me to expect this issue, to expect this problem.

I understand what you found, and I'm appreciative of that, and I'll do what I need to do in the natural to help myself.

But here's what I expect that I will live out the full number of my days on the earth.

Because he said in the book of Exodus that he has taken sickness and disease from my midst, and the number of my days I would fulfill.

Is that right?

He said that I would not die, but I would live and declare the works of the Lord.

Are you declaring the works of the Lord?

Did everybody live and you're declaring the works of the Lord?

Amen.

Matter of fact, you should have died, but you didn't.

Why?

Because you trusted in the law of the spirit of life.

Oh, glory.

But I've got to turn to that.

2 Corinthians 4.18 says, Well, we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.

For the things which are seen are temporal, the King James says, temporary, subject to change.

The things that are not seen are eternal.

Amen.

The Weast Bible says we do not contemplate the things that are seen, but the things which are not seen.

So notice it doesn't say we don't see them, it says we don't contemplate them.

That doesn't have my focus.

See, whatever's got your focus is telling you what to expect.

Why do you believe that things aren't going to get any better?

Because you're expecting things to not get any better.

Because something is changing your expectation.

Hallelujah.

So we're not contemplating the things that are seen, but the things which are not seen.

So what are we contemplating?

The things that are not seen.

Why are we told in Romans chapter 4 to call those things that be not as though they were?

Romans 4 · chapter mention

So we're calling things that are not seen as though they are.

Why are we told to do that?

Because that's contemplating the things that are not seen.

That's contemplating the things that are not seen.

If you're dealing with a physical issue, what is not seen?

Healing in that certain situation.

What do you do?

Focus on what you see?

No, focus on what you can't see.

Because by focusing on what you cannot see, it comes into existence.

I've got to focus on what cannot be seen.

I don't know if you've ever read Annette Capp's book, Quantum Faith.

But uh she she does a lot of uh Annette does a lot of um study on quantum physics, right?

And and there, and I'm not a physicist, I don't pretend to be, but there this is this is scientifically proven.

There there are those atoms, those things in physics, that they never show up until somebody starts looking for them.

They prove that.

The atoms don't show up until somebody's looking, until somebody's watching.

Why does the word of God not function for some people?

They're not looking for it, they're looking at everything else.

Amen.

You know, most Christians, and I say most without reservation, most Christians can tell you every bad thing that they're dealing with.

They can tell you every bad report, they can tell you how bad things are, but most of them cannot tell you what the word says about that situation.

They might say something like this, well, but God's in control.

Lie! Lie! That's a lie.

God is not in control.

If God was in control, this earth would be perfect.

You would have no trouble and no issues in your life whatsoever.

Here's the problem.

Number one, there's a curse in the earth.

Number two, there's a devil loose, and number three, people don't know what to believe.

Hallelujah.

Once you know what to believe, and once you believe you're functioning under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and you start looking at the things that are not seen, everything changes.

Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

What?

Just preach myself happy.

Anything I deal with is temporary.

Temporary.

Anything you're dealing with in your body is temporary.

Why, your body's ultimately temporary.

Anything you deal with is temporary.

If you're dealing with financial issues today, it's temporary.

Now understand, that's not this carefree attitude.

Well, everything will be okay and God will take care of it.

No, it's temporary if you're working the word and doing the do's.

Right?

But it's temporary.

Is it temporary?

Tell your neighbor it's temporary.

Tell them, say what we're dealing with is temporary.

Tell them what you're facing in your body is temporary.

Temporary.

Tell them like you mean it.

Temporary.

Amen.

Now say to yourself, just close your eye, put your hands on your chest, say, what I'm dealing with is temporary.

Say this, say, situation.

Listen to me.

I'm talking to you.

You are temporary.

Pack your bags.

Leave my life in Jesus' name.

Hallelujah.

Amen.

Now, did it go?

Yes.

Did I say did it go?

Yes, it went.

Why?

Because what'd you do?

You told it to go.

What did Kevin tell us today?

We'll have what?

So did you say?

Who's in authority?

Who has the authority on the earth?

We do.

Who gave it to us?

Jesus.

What'd Jesus say?

Whatever you bind on earth, we'll be bound in heaven.

Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Therefore, I say unto you, whatsoever things you ask, the Father in my name, he'll do it for you.

Is that right?

Hallelujah.

See, the law of the Spirit of life binds up the law of sin and death.

And you got to speak that out of your mouth.

I have been given all authority.

How do you operate in the earth?

Like you're seated.

You're seated in heaven.

You have to act like you're seated on the earth.

He said in the book of Ephesians, chapter 1, he said that God seated Jesus at his own right hand, right?

Ephesians 1 · chapter mention

Far above all principality, all power, all might, all dominion, every name, the same, not only this earth, but also in that which is to come.

Right?

Then Ephesians chapter 2, verse 6 says, and you have been seated together with him in Christ.

Ephesians 2:6

Here's what people see.

They see God's throne.

They see Jesus' throne.

You know it's a littler throne.

That's how people see it.

And then they see these millions of little chairs away from Jesus' throne, and that's where we're seated.

No, we're not.

There is no throne beside Jesus' throne.

We're seated together in Christ.

Where?

Where are we seated in Christ?

Far above.

All principality, all power, all might, all dominion, every name, this name.

Are you seated there?

Does the Bible say you're seated there?

Then why would you act like you're in the in the foyer?

Amen.

I'm not, folks, I'm not just satisfied to be in the building.

I never was like that.

Well, you know, we got to see the show.

Couldn't hardly see it.

He looked like a little uh I don't, you wasted your money.

Yeah, but I got to hear the music.

But you wasted your money.

The tall guy with the big hair was in front of you the whole show and you didn't get to see it.

I want to be on the front row.

Right?

Amen.

So are you seated there?

You gotta live like you're seated.

You gotta live like you're seated.

What are you doing?

You're pulling some of those things out of the basement.

Getting some of that stuff out of the garage.

Right?

Have you ever been going through boxes and you went, well, I was wondering where that was at.

You put it in the box and put it in the closet.

Right?

If you're gonna find it, you gotta go pull the boxes down and get, you gotta get up every day thinking about that.

Why am I gonna succeed today?

Because I'm seated with Christ in heavenly places.

And I and I was sent here to the earth as an emissary, as an ambassador for the kingdom of God.

And I'm here with all authority and all power and all might and all dominion that has been given to me.

I'm operating under the law of the Spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus, and I refuse to be brought under the law of sin and death.

Don't have to.

Not going to, not going to.

So many misplace the focus in these verses.

They try not to look at what is seen without looking at what is not seen.

Can't do that.

Well, I'm not I'm not paying attention to that report.

Well, are you looking at the other report?

Because what's the scripture say?

Whose report will you believe?

So that means there's two reports or more.

Whose report will you believe?

Amen.

When Josh Joachim called me and I was in my office in uh Little Rock, and he said, Pastor, you know, our baby's been born, Jalen's been born.

And when he was born, uh, he was born uh uh with with uh no right ventricle in his heart, no way for the blood to flow through the heart, to oxygenate the blood.

Zero percent chance of living, zero percent chance.

And the doctor said, we need to just take him off the machine and and wrap him up and let you guys love on him for about 10 minutes because that's all he'll live.

He said, I don't know what to do.

Well, I said, Let me pray about it, I'll call you back.

And so I I prayed about it, went and talked to my wife, and what kept coming up in our spirit is they can't tell you what to believe.

They can't tell you what to believe.

Amen.

Now I didn't go back and say, now you go in there and you tell them they can't tell you what to believe.

I said, Josh, listen, what are you believing for?

He said, I'm believing that our son Jalen will be healed.

I said, then that's what we got to stand on.

They can't tell you what to believe.

I said, now you need to go very kindly and very sweet, and you need to tell the doctor we're gonna keep him on the machine.

Why?

They can't make you take your baby off the machine.

Can't do it.

Amen.

Folks, it took the better part of a year.

But I just got pictures and videos of that 10-year-old boy that they said had a 0% chance of living, and he's alive today with no heart trouble.

Because somebody said, I'm gonna look at what is not seen in spite of what I see.

I gotta hurry.

It's time for me to be done.

But we're being told to turn to the greater law.

He's not saying just don't look, he's saying, turn from that and look to the greater law.

Amen.

Hallelujah.

Galatians 3 13 says, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Why?

Having been made a curse for us.

For it is written, cursed is every one that hangs upon a tree.

Hallelujah.

The Erasmus translation says, why?

However, did God want this to happen?

Clearly, in order that the curse brought by the law might be removed and the blessing through faith formerly promised to Abraham might take its place.

You cannot separate the blessing from the law of the spirit of life.

They're both ours equally.

The blessing that God promised Abraham, I've been brought into, and I've been delivered from the law of the spirit of death and brought into the law of the spirit of life.

So I'm free from that law, I'm free from the curse, and I'm free from all they brought on me.

Oh, glory.

Amen.

Before we go, look at uh Deuteronomy 28, verse 21.

Deuteronomy 28:21

I don't want to keep you too much longer.

We got to come back for our night of giving tonight.

And some other good things the Lord's going to say to us this evening.

Verse 21, Deuteronomy 28, 21 says, The Lord will make the pestilence cleave unto you.

Allow is a better translation.

The Lord will allow the pestilence.

Why?

Because they're in disobedience.

Until he's consumed you from off the land, whether you go to possess it, the Lord will allow consumption of fever, these different inflammation, extreme burning with the sword, blasting, mildew.

We're free from that, Brother Kevin.

And they will pursue you until you perish.

So consumption, tuberculosis, wasting disease, fever, inflammation, extreme burning.

I'm free from any of those.

Why?

The law of the spirit of life that's in Christ.

Amen.

Hallelujah.

I'm free from those.

Deuteronomy 28, 61 says, also every sickness and every plague that's not written in this book of the law.

I don't even need to know what it is in order to walk free from it.

Amen.

Hallelujah.

It may not be listed, but I'm free from it.

Whatever it is, I'm free from it.

Amen.

Time time people will come to me and say, What do you think that is?

Have no idea, but you're free from it.

I have no idea.

You know, you keep asking questions and you're going to get an answer.

And once you get the answer, you got to determine if your faith is strong enough to deal with the answer you just got.

Amen.

You keep asking those questions.

Well, you know, I got this, I got this little thing.

And now watch, it can be nothing.

And somebody will go, well, you know, I got this little pain.

And you know, I was just thinking, oh, now we're an old boy.

See how are you thinking?

Because you're going to see it that way, and it's going to be that way.

Well, you know, I was just thinking, you know, this runs in my family.

You know, this heart issue, it runs in my family.

And I was just thinking, you know, I wonder.

Now, see, now now you're going down the wonder pathway.

Just wonder.

Wonder what?

Just wonder if it might be my heart.

Well, why do you stop and whisper?

Just wonder if it might be my heart.

And that person will go home and sit in their chair and wonder if that's their heart.

They'll lay down at night and wonder if that's their heart.

They'll get up in the night in the night and wonder if that's their heart.

Every little thing, wonder if that's my heart.

You know, I got this funny sensation in my left arm.

And you know, my right arm was hurting the other day.

And you know, when you got a heart problem, it's not just your left arm that hurts, it can be your right arm too.

Now, I'm not telling you to ignore symptoms.

Here's what I'm telling you.

You start going down that wonder pathway, and you start speaking that over your body.

I just wonder if it might be my heart.

What should you be saying?

I don't know what these symptoms are, but my heart beats with the rhythm of life.

It causes my blood to circulate through my system perfectly.

Amen.

And then when you go to the doctor, you're going to the doctor with this understanding.

Ever what they say, I'm healed.

Amen.

Amen.

You've already built your faith.

People take a gut punch in the spirit because their faith is not ready for what they're going to hear.

Amen.

Brother Kevin, we didn't have time to try to make things work when you got a cancer diagnosis.

Amen.

When I got the phone call that the family had been in an accident, we didn't have time to quote 42 protection scriptures.

We had to stand on what had already been said.

No evil will befall us.

No plague will come near our dwelling.

Yeah, but the accident already happened.

Yeah, but nobody died.

Why?

Because no evil will befall us.

Amen.

So you don't have time for that.

You got to be believing, I'm walking in the law of the Spirit of life right now, today.

Oh, hallelujah.

And listen, if you go to the doctor and it is your heart, God made that one, He'll fix it.

Amen.

You know, if they find cancer, they can find out it left.

If they find something in your body, they can find out it was healed.

Amen.

Well, you know, we found that your A1C is high, and we found that your blood sugar is high.

Well, you can also find that it's normal.

Amen.

See, don't let them tell you what to expect.

Brother Kevin, y'all care if I take a minute.

What did they say?

They did not just talk to you about prostate cancer.

They said black men, what'd they say?

Black men have a higher risk of dying from prostate cancer.

What were they trying to expect?

Tell him.

Well, I'm black and I have prostate cancer.

I'm at a higher risk.

I'm glad Brother Kevin knew that in Christ we're not black or white or male or female.

We're all one.

Doesn't matter.

Am I helping you?

This is important because they'll start telling you what to expect.

I said they'll start telling you what to expect.

And when you start letting other people that are believing nothing tell you what to expect, you invite and open the door to the law of sin and death to come into your life.

And you're born again and you're filled with the Holy Spirit and you have the life of God on the inside of you, but if you invite the curse into your life, it will destroy you.

You're not welcome here.

Let me let me share this with you as I'm closing.

There are things I just don't get involved with, and I don't care who's doing it.

I don't care.

I was talking, I was talking to uh uh uh a family member one time, and they were telling me some things they were gonna do.

They was gonna invite us, and and they were telling us some things they were gonna do, and they told me what they were doing.

I said, No, we won't be there.

Well, it's a very important deal.

I understand, but the things you're doing are not conducive to a spiritual lifestyle.

Christians don't get involved in that.

I'm not coming.

Love you, but I'm not coming.

Well, what'd they think?

I don't know.

I think they got mad.

But the law of the spirit of life, my spiritual strength is more important than what you think.

Ah, quiet in Zion.

You know, because we don't want to hurt nobody's feelings.

We want everybody to like us.

You know, if you walk by faith, everybody's not gonna like you.

They're not gonna understand you.

Amen.

Remember, I told you the story?

The Lord told me, let me see, I gotta close my Bible because if I don't, it'll keep speaking.

Amen.

Like Brother Kevin.

I'm not a very good speaker.

But I was sitting in my office talking to my friend Rafael Hernandez.

He was preaching here.

And uh he he and I were talking about our children.

He had faced some challenges with one of his children, and and we were talking about it.

And in the process of the conversation, this phrase came up they are following the plan of God for their life.

And the Lord said to me about this child.

That's your response every time you hear a report about them.

They are following the plan of God for their life.

And somebody would ask me, they'd say, How's this child doing?

I said, They're following the plan of God for their life.

And I was at a gathering, a birthday party, I think is what it was, and a family member came up to me and said, How's such and such doing?

And I said, They're following the plan of God for their life.

Here's what they said.

Now, look, we know what you believe.

You believe you can have what you say, and you're always talking positive, and you know, we believe we we understand that.

But be real.

What's really going on?

That's what I did.

I just kind of went, okay, I'll tell you the truth.

They're following the plan of God for their life.

Oh, they got mad.

You know, a month ago, that child called us and said, I went back to church.

When they gave the altar call, I went back up and rededicated my life to the Lord.

Amen.

I'm in my word.

I want to live for God.

What would have happened if we'd have just got in line with what everybody else thought?

You might be the only person believing for you.

You can't you can't, right?

You might be the only person believing for your spouse.

You might be the only person believing for your family.

Can you really afford to get over there and quit saying what God said and quit acting on what God said?

You cannot.

You can't, the price is far too great.

The price is far too great.

Amen.

And you know there are still other children that we gotta get some things straightened up, and we will.

Right?

Why?

Because what's the word say?

It says, All of my children will be taught of the Lord, and great will be the peace of all of my children.

Is that right?

Amen.

Not gonna get over there under the law of sin and death where they're concerned.

I was talking to somebody not too long ago.

Well, I say not too long ago, it seemed not too long ago, it's longer than that, but you know, I'm I'm surprised at the way some people, well, that child, they just don't listen.

And I raised them in church right, and I don't know what's wrong with them.

That right there is what's wrong with them.

You're cursing them.

Quit saying your children are rebellious.

Quit saying they don't want anything to do with God.

Quit saying, I don't know.

I raised them in church.

I did my part.

That's pride, my brother.

That's pride, my sister.

You're trying to give yourself an out.

You're trying to feel good about you.

Well, I did what was right.

Well, good for you.

That and 69 cents won't even buy you a cup of coffee.

If you did the right thing, then you go to God and you stand on it.

Now, Lord, I raise them in church.

I put the word of God in them.

I believe for them.

I will continue to believe for them.

I'm sowing seed for their salvation, but I refuse to touch it with my mind.

I refuse to touch it with my emotions.

As far as I'm concerned, they're saved.

Hmm.

Now what have I done?

I've entered into the law of the Spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus.

Hallelujah.

I I need to quit, but you need to hear this before I quit.

I can't make things function for other people.

I can make them function for me.

Everybody's gonna have to believe God.

I say everybody's gonna have to believe God.

And Jim said it last night.

Unless you're living with somebody 24 hours a day, you don't know if they're in faith.

You can't be sure.

Remember the time I told you I got a phone call from a guy?

And the first thing he started doing, he told me he's having a problem, and the first thing he started doing was rattling off confessions.

And I listened, and he got done.

I was just quiet for a minute.

I said, You're afraid.

And real timid, he said, Yeah, I am.

See, he was trying to cover up fear with confessions.

It won't work.

If fear's there, confession's not gonna get rid of it.

The Bible says the only thing that gets rid of fear is the love of God.

How much do you believe God loves you?

God loves me too much to let me die.

God loves me too much to let my heart give out.

God loves me too much to let cancer take me out.

What happens to fear then?

Just goes away.

So if you had asked that person, are you in faith?

They would have said, Yes, I'm in faith, but there was no faith in what they said.

You can say the right thing, confess the right thing, and have no faith behind it.

Amen.

Why?

Because you can come up to me tonight and say, I believe before I get home today, somebody's gonna give me a million dollars.

You don't no more believe that than I believe I'm a Martian.

You just you don't believe.

I don't care who you are, you don't believe that.

Amen.

Now, if you're believing it, things are gonna start changing.

Right?

Hallelujah.

I've taken too much time.

Hallelujah.

Let's stand up, hallelujah.

We'll be here for our night of giving tonight.

We encourage you to be here and sow into the things of God, and we're believing God for great things.
