And I I I I'm just gonna say it the way the Lord said it.
-
To those you, someone else, maybe someone you know, I don't know.
-
But those levels that need to rise, they will rise.
-
And those things that need to lower, they will lower.
-
That will happen.
-
You will see it.
-
It will be on the report.
-
That that is in a normal range.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And this sounds almost funny to me in the church we're in, but listen, the devil's lying to you.
-
That's not hanging around for some specified reason.
-
That's a lie.
-
It's going.
-
The word of God is driving it out.
-
It's not going to be able to stay.
-
I say this by the Holy Spirit.
-
That thing was not planted by the Father.
-
And Jesus said, Whatever is not planted by my Father is pulled up by the root and cast away.
-
Father, we pull that up right now in Jesus' name.
-
We pull it up and we cast it away.
-
You shall not exist in that body.
-
You shall not exist in that family.
-
You shall not exist in that saint.
-
Father, anything, anything in our churches, anything in the lives of your people that is not there by your will, we pull it up and we cast it away.
-
It shall not function.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
Hallelujah.
-
The Holy Spirit is ultimately directing these things.
-
And my desire today was to look at some more of the laws of the spirit world, but there's something that the Holy Spirit wants us to look at, and I don't know that we'll get away from it.
-
In Ephesians chapter 2.
Ephesians 2 chapter mention
-
Ephesians chapter 2.
Ephesians 2 chapter mention
-
Now Pastor Michelle is here today.
-
And uh you may wonder why she's not ministering elsewhere, because she was supposed to minister today and and my plans got changed at the last moment.
-
And uh so I'm saying that for a reason.
-
This, what I'm gonna get into, is not in my notes.
-
It's written on my heart, but it's not in my notes.
-
So if at any time she feels the need to tag in, feel free.
-
Amen.
-
Tag team preaching.
-
Ephesians, I said chapter one, two, chapter one.
-
I'm sorry.
-
I I want to start this off by saying this.
-
I was sitting in a ministers' conference in January, a number of years ago, and my pastor was ministering, and every year he kicks the minister's conference off.
-
He's the first speaker every year, has been for 20 years, 20 plus years.
-
And uh he was ministering, and he began to tell a story.
-
And he said, in my study, he said, I have a life-size picture that uh a South American, Native American artist drew of Jesus.
-
And he said, Where I pray, that picture's on the wall, and and he said, I pray right there.
-
Now, obviously he's not praying to the picture, that's just where he prays.
-
And he said, I was in the middle of my prayer time in my prayer, and he said, I looked up, and when I looked up, this came out of my spirit.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Say that out loud.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
See, the Bible, the Bible tells us certain things.
-
It says, in Christ, there is neither male or female, Jew or Greek, bond or free, but all are one in Christ.
-
Is that right?
-
So we're we're in Christ, we are the redeemed.
-
Right?
-
We're not now now hear me when I say this.
-
We're not white believers or black believers or Hispanic believers.
-
We're in Christ.
-
And in Christ, the Bible says, all are one.
-
And because we're what?
-
We're the redeemed.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
So I cannot identify as what now.
-
Here's an elementary way of saying this.
-
This is why we don't say I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
-
In Christ, I cannot identify as a sinner because that was my identity before him.
-
In Christ, I'm the righteous.
-
In Christ, I'm the redeemed.
-
In Christ, I'm the holy.
-
In Christ, I'm the beloved.
-
Amen.
-
Your mindset has to be wrapped around who you are in Christ.
-
That's your identity.
-
And so he says, Paul says in Ephesians chapter 1, this is one of his prayers for the church.
Ephesians 1 chapter mention
-
And I'm not going to read the whole prayer.
-
I want you to see this.
-
Verse 19, he wants us to know the exceeding greatness of God's power that is toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.
-
So the first thing he says is, I want you to see the wealth of power that God has towards you, that you have access to.
-
It's what?
-
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead.
-
You know, I don't know if we know how much power it takes to raise someone from the dead.
-
I don't know.
-
You know, we see it in the Bible.
-
The Bible doesn't quantify it.
-
But here in Ephesians, Paul gets as close as anyone ever did to trying to tell us how much power is available to the church.
-
And he says, here's the best way I can give you an example.
-
It's the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.
-
After he had been dead three days and three nights, after he was in the place of the departed.
-
After he, we could say it this way, after he went to hell, after he suffered in that place.
-
The power of God was so strong that it went into that place and raised him from the dead.
-
Well, that same power was exhibited in you when you were born again, because you were dead in trespasses and sin, and that same power came into that place of the spiritually dead and raised you to new life.
-
Glory be to God.
-
Which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.
-
Notice, far above all principality, all might, all power, all dominion, every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come, put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
-
So, so in the body, one translation says, in the body of Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
-
So the fullness of Christ is in his church.
-
Now, chapter 2, verse 5.
-
Even when we were dead in sins, God quickened, brought us to life together with Christ.
-
By grace you are saved, and hath raised us up together.
-
Say together.
-
And made us sit, help me say it, together, in heavenly places, where?
-
In Christ Jesus.
-
Now here's what I need you to see.
-
A lot of times people get this picture.
-
Heaven.
-
They walk in a throne room.
-
There's a big throne, that's God's throne.
-
There's a mist over here that kind of looks like a bird, that's the Holy Spirit.
-
Got a dove floating over here.
-
And then over here is a smaller throne, down a little bit.
-
That's Jesus' throne.
-
And then beside his throne are all these little chairs.
-
The kids' table where we sit.
-
There is no other throne besides the Father's throne, beside the Father's throne, except the throne of Christ.
-
We're seated in heavenly places in him.
-
In him, not beside him.
-
Not there somewhere.
-
In him.
-
Where does it say we're seated in heavenly places where?
-
In Christ.
-
Everybody say, I'm seated in Christ.
-
Now Jesus prayed this.
-
When the disciples said, Teach us to pray, what did he say?
-
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth?
-
As what?
-
As what?
-
As in heaven.
-
Now, here's the question.
-
How are you in heaven right now?
-
What's that?
-
Seated where?
-
In Christ.
-
Seated in Christ.
-
Heaven knows there's no work in heaven.
-
I don't mean there's nothing going on.
-
As far as what we have to do, as far as redemption, as far as overcoming, there's no work done in heaven, they know the work is done.
-
That's why they're seated.
-
The work is done.
-
He said he wanted his will done in the earth as it is in heaven.
-
What is his will in heaven for you?
-
To be seated in Christ.
-
I'm seated in heavenly places.
-
I have to retain that seating in the earth.
-
Amen.
-
I occupy till he comes, but I occupy from my position of seating.
-
Everything flows from my position in him.
-
What's my main position in him?
-
At the right hand of the Father.
-
Where?
-
Far above.
-
Far above.
-
All principality, all power, all might, all dominion.
-
That's where we're seated.
-
Did we, listen, did we lose that seating on the earth?
-
We're seated far above.
-
That's where we're seated.
-
And where's this at?
-
In Christ.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Someone who is seated far above all principality, all power, all might, all dominion, every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
-
Someone that is seated in that position should not even be finding themselves talking about the plan of the enemy.
-
My seating automatically gives me authority over that.
-
Is that right?
-
In Christ, in Christ, I do not identify as the trying.
-
If you grew up in church like I did, we sang this song.
-
We shall overcome.
-
We shall, not we have.
-
Why are we going to overcome?
-
Because we've already overcome.
-
Are you an overcomer or you're gonna be an overcomer?
-
In Christ, you're a what?
-
An overcomer.
-
Now, thanks be unto God that always causes us to triumph.
-
How?
-
Through Christ.
-
Is that right?
-
So I'm seated in heavenly places in Christ.
-
I have no identity of my own.
-
Do you see this?
-
So it's I'm seated in heaven, I have to be seated in the earth.
-
I have to maintain that position.
-
Because of my seating, I was sent as an emissary and an ambassador into the earth.
-
An ambassador of what?
-
The victory that's ours in Christ.
-
What did Jesus say in Luke 10?
-
He said, Behold, I give you authority.
-
The word is power in the King James, authority.
-
Exusia, I give you authority over all the authority of the enemy.
-
What happened when Adam sold out his birthright, if you will?
-
The enemy got authority in the earth.
-
Is that right?
-
He could then exercise his will in the earth.
-
When Jesus came and died and shed his blood and redeemed us, then he said, Look, here's what I've done.
-
I've given you authority over all the wonderworking power of the devil.
-
He has no power over you.
-
What will we do?
-
Tread on serpents and scorpions?
-
And, help me out, over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
-
Is that what he said?
-
In Christ.
-
In Christ.
-
So to talk about the devil's fight is to demean my position.
-
Because the devil is not going to be defeated in God's mind.
-
The devil has been defeated.
-
Amen.
-
Now understand this.
-
Why then, why then is the devil capable of fighting?
-
Why is he capable of fighting?
-
The time, the time, the earthlies, is not up.
-
He has a right to be on this earth.
-
And as long as he's on this earth, he's going to do what he does, which is to steal, kill, and destroy, to try to pull people away from the things of God.
-
But here's the issue.
-
Even though he has a right to be on the earth, his authority has been canceled.
-
God has to keep his word.
-
God has to be a man of integrity.
-
He cannot circumvent that.
-
He's got to allow him to be on the earth.
-
But understand something.
-
He's on the earth filled with over a billion people that have the power of the Holy Ghost on the inside of them.
-
And if they just knew who they were in Christ, everything would change.
-
Hallelujah.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Look at uh 2 Corinthians 5.
-
Now some of these verses are familiar, but am I helping you?
-
What we choose to do with that identity.
-
And my notes that I had for my the the message that I actually wrote down was uh let me see if I can find it real quickly because going to 2 Corinthians 5.
-
But um let me see here.
-
And you don't have to turn there, but you remember it says, there is therefore now no condemnation of those that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, for the law of the Spirit of life that is in Christ has made me free from the law of sin and death.
-
Many believers, I would I dare say most never take that past their salvation experience.
-
They get saved, and that's it.
-
That's where it stops.
-
And that's why you have so many that talk about I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
-
There's there's phrases that in Christ people don't talk.
-
You are not broken people.
-
Why would you ever say that?
-
I'm just a broken person.
-
In Christ, you've been fixed.
-
In Christ, you've been made whole.
-
Does this sound like a broken person?
-
We are complete in him.
-
Is that right?
-
Well, Pastor, we're all in process, but we're complete in him.
-
I'm growing up into him.
-
Do you see the reason for spiritual maturity?
-
Those people that talk about how broken they are, what do they need to do?
-
Grow up.
-
They need to be mature.
-
Why?
-
He said we need to grow up in him in all things.
-
And what will the result be?
-
I am complete in him.
-
So there's nothing missing, nothing broken in him.
-
Right?
-
The law of the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus.
-
Now understand.
-
Both of these are laws, but one is the greater law.
-
There is definitely in the earth a law of sin and death, but there's a greater law.
-
It's the law of the spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus.
-
And when the law of the spirit of life that's in Christ Jesus is working in you and you're allowing it to work, it is constantly displacing the law of sin and death.
-
The law of sin and death cannot maintain its hold in your life when the law of the spirit of life that is in Christ is flowing through you.
-
Glory to God.
-
Tell your neighbor, I'm in Christ.
-
So the law of sin and death cannot function.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
This is so important.
-
And when people start talking, well, well, you know, we're all just in process and we're all doing our best.
-
And, you know, after all, we're all just broken people.
-
We're all just sinners saved by grace.
-
I heard a minister that I have great respect for.
-
This is not disrespect.
-
Great respect.
-
Tell his congregation of thousands.
-
Every one of us in here are sinners.
-
We're all sinners.
-
How much victory are they going to walk in?
-
Somebody said it right.
-
Zero.
-
Right?
-
Because in Christ, in Christ, come on.
-
In Christ.
-
Tag.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
The law of sin and death is operating in the earth, just like the law of gravity is operating in the earth.
-
But the law of thrust will override or supersede the law of gravity, and that's how airplanes fly.
-
Through the law of thrust, they're able to have an override of the law of gravity and fly above and operate above what is operative in the law of gravity.
-
And so the law of sin and death is operating in the earth, but we're not under the law of sin and death.
-
We are in Christ.
-
And the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus allows us to supersede and rise above so that we are not under the circumstance, so that we're not subject to the times.
-
We're not subject to the financial system of the world.
-
We're able to rise above and operate in the flow of the kingdom that's available to us.
-
I want to say this.
-
The Lord spoke to me one time and he said, if you're trying to get victory, the devil knows you know the devil knows you don't believe you have it.
-
That's right.
-
If you're always trying to get victory, I gotta get the victory.
-
We're gonna get the victory over this.
-
Oh, see, the enemy's listening.
-
When Eve, when it when he was asking Eve, did God say he was one, he didn't he didn't care what God said.
-
He wanted to know what she thought God said.
-
What did God say?
-
And when she opened her mouth and said, God said we can't even touch the tree, that's not in the book.
-
God didn't say don't touch the tree, he said keep it.
-
The gardens, in the garden.
-
So he didn't say don't touch the tree, he said don't eat the fruit.
-
But when she opened up her mouth and said, then the enemy had the knowledge that she of what she believed.
-
Yeah.
-
And when we open our mouth and say, Well, I'm gonna get the victory over this, we have just put him on notice that we don't think we've got it.
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah.
-
And if we don't think we've got it and we're trying to get something that we've already got, we're already putting God at a disadvantage.
-
If I come to my husband and I said, Please marry me, would you marry me?
-
Please be my husband.
-
Please, please marry me.
-
What can he do?
-
What more can I do?
-
Even if he restated his vows, it doesn't make him any more married than he already is.
-
There's nothing more he can do.
-
And so there are things that God has identified concerning you and I, of who we are in Christ, and we've got to accept it.
-
You're not going to identify the right standing that you are in Christ with your emotions.
-
Your emotions can't register it.
-
Your emotions cannot, it's not on the emotional radar.
-
Yeah.
-
Who I am in Christ.
-
I'm the righteousness of God.
-
Do I feel righteous?
-
I I don't feel too righteous today.
-
I whoo did you I have a bad hair day?
-
I don't feel too righteous today.
-
Right?
-
And so if I am looking on that radar to identify my righteousness, then I'm never going to find it there.
-
That's right.
-
If I'm looking in my feelings, if I'm looking in in, if if I don't let faith, the righteousness which is of faith, the Bible says in Romans chapter 10, righteousness comes by hearing and hearing the word that tells me what he's done to make me righteous.
Romans 10 chapter mention
-
And then I've got to pull myself in agreement with that, and I've got to pull off the identification sticker that said, I'm a loser, or I'm I'm unrighteous, or I'm not worthy.
-
I've got to pull that sticker off and I've got to put the right sticker on.
-
I'm in Christ, I'm the righteousness.
-
I've got to have the righteousness identifier, the nameplate on my being, and I've got to say I am righteous.
-
But the enemy says you don't feel righteous.
-
Feeling is not proof.
-
Feelings are not evidence.
-
Position is evidence.
-
The word of God provides the evidence of our position in Christ, and we've got to come into agreement.
-
And so we were using the example of victory.
-
If you're trying to get victory, the devil knows you don't think you've got it.
-
Amen.
-
So he's already got you in the place of the victim, and he's got you in a place where you're trying to get something you've already got.
-
And that's the same thing with healing.
-
Healing is purchased.
-
There are things that are purchased, there are things that are already complete.
-
And the faith is what brings us into or brings them into manifestation.
-
And so we've got to agree.
-
Remember what Hebrews chapter 13 he has said so that we may boldly say.
Hebrews 13 chapter mention
-
He has said you're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, so that you may boldly say, I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and I stand against this sickness, and I command it to leave my body.
-
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and I stand against this lack, and I command it to leave my life because I'm blessed going in, and I'm blessed coming out, and I'm blessed in the field, and I'm blessed in the city, and I'm blessed in the basket.
-
And so I agree with what God said about me.
-
I already have the victory.
-
And so you've got to talk like you've got, even if you don't see that you've got it in the natural situation, you've got to talk in agreement with God's word so that the word can come into the situation and affect the change in the situation that's needed.
-
For the word of God to come into that situation and affect it, you're gonna have to establish it with your words.
-
You're gonna have to establish it with your faith, and you're gonna have to set that as the testimony.
-
I am already overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Just say right there.
-
That's all I have.
-
We'll see.
-
In in Christ is the reality.
-
In Christ is the reality.
-
Right?
-
2 Corinthians chapter 4 and uh uh I told you to go to five, we'll go back there in a minute, but uh 2 Corinthians chapter 4 and verse 18.
2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention 2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention
-
This is a familiar verse, but I want you to see this.
-
Because it has to do with who we are in Christ, it has to do with our identity.
-
2 Corinthians chapter 4, while we do not look at the things that are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention
-
For the things that are seen are temporary, temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal, they're temporary.
-
The weast Bible says we're not contemplating the things that are seen, but the things which are not seen.
-
The things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
-
Hallelujah.
-
The only thing that is not temporary is my standing in Christ.
-
That's eternal.
-
Right?
-
That the position is the reality.
-
Everything else, everything that you deal with is an attempt to move you out of your position.
-
Everything.
-
Because we were talking about the victory.
-
The enemy will come and say, You don't have the victory.
-
Now wait a minute.
-
Hang on, we got to learn to answer that right.
-
Am I in Christ?
-
I have the victory.
-
Why?
-
Because did Christ, did Jesus overcome all or some?
-
All it said he was seated far above all principality, all dominion, all power, all might, every name that is named.
-
Is that right?
-
And then when he was seated there, not only did he seat us there, he sent us as his emissaries and said, now I want to give you your credentials and your badge numbers, J-E-S-U-S, and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is.
-
Is that right?
-
At the name of Jesus, whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will do it for you.
-
Right?
-
So Jesus, the one I'm seated in, not with, in, has already overcome.
-
Well, here's a question.
-
And and these are elementary, I understand that.
-
If my left leg wins, does my right leg win?
-
If I cross the finish line and win, does all my parts win?
-
Why?
-
Because I won.
-
Jesus not only defeated the devil, he broke the power of the curse.
-
He broke the power of the law of the spirit of death and sin, and brought us into the blessing, and brought us into the law of the spirit of life that is in Christ as total overcomers.
-
You were a born overcomer.
-
You were born an overcomer.
-
You didn't become an overcomer.
-
You were born an overcomer.
-
Religion had to convince people that they were born again, and yes, now they were on their way to heaven, and they were gonna miss hell by the skin of their teeth, but now they're just old sinners saved by grace, slogging through the milk, mud, and the cold, doing the best they can.
-
My home is not much, my money's near gone, I'm in a deep rut, but it won't be for long.
-
Yeah.
-
And people bought into that.
-
I'm just a poor, wayfaring stranger.
-
I know we don't say that, but understand that mindset.
-
Every time somebody says, I'm gonna win, that's the mindset.
-
You may not say that, but that's the mindset.
-
The in Christ mindset is a champion mindset.
-
Well, I don't want to think too much of myself.
-
You can't be thinking too much of yourself, talking about who you are in Christ.
-
It has nothing to do with you.
-
I was taken, snatched.
-
The Bible says this, that God snatched me out of the kingdom of darkness and presented me in the kingdom of the Son of his love.
-
God did it.
-
I confessed Jesus as my Lord, and God pulled me out of that mess and deposited me in Christ.
-
I had nothing to do with it, other than believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
And now I got to keep believing in the finished work of who I am in Christ Jesus.
-
Hallelujah.
-
That's the reality.
-
And so he said, we don't look at those things.
-
So many misplace the focus in these areas by just trying not to look at what is seen without looking at what is not seen.
-
What you can't see is the greater law.
-
What you cannot see is the higher standard.
-
There's salvation and there's being in Christ.
-
Because when someone thinks salvation, they think I got saved from sin.
-
That's part of it.
-
That's part of the package.
-
But what's the word salvation?
-
What does it mean?
-
Complete deliverance, complete wholeness, complete restoration.
-
That's what it means.
-
And it's not restoration back to the original state of what you were in the sense in your human body.
-
When you got born again, you were restored back to that same state of fellowship and that same state of being with God as man was before they ever fell.
-
And I'm seated with Christ in that place.
-
Hallelujah.
-
How does God see you?
-
Here's how people say think God sees them.
-
Well, you know, God knows our frailties and he just sees us as frail people and broken.
-
It's not what the Bible says.
-
The Bible says when he sees you, he sees you in Christ.
-
If he sees me in Christ, he must see me complete.
-
If he sees me in Christ, he must see me overcoming.
-
If he sees me in Christ, he must see me as completely righteous.
-
You cannot be half righteous.
-
You're either righteous or you're not.
-
If you're partially in right standing with me, you're not in right standing with me.
-
It's either 100% or it's not.
-
Right?
-
I've had people say, Well, it's almost like we're married.
-
I said, That's exactly like not being.
-
Amen.
-
And what's the enemy do?
-
He works with your feelings.
-
Your feelings.
-
Lord, I want to say this right.
-
You know why people think they're not gonna make it financially?
-
Because their complete trust is not in who they are in Christ.
-
Their trust is in what they can do.
-
And not on who they are in Christ.
-
Yeah, but God said he'd supply all of our needs according to his riches and glory.
-
By who?
-
Christ Jesus.
-
Where are all the riches of wisdom and knowledge hid?
-
In Christ.
-
1 Corinthians 1 30 says, what?
-
It says, now of him are you in Christ?
-
Who is made unto us?
-
Wisdom.
-
Is that right?
-
Righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
-
Are you of God?
-
Then you're in Christ.
-
If I'm in Christ, what has Christ been made unto me?
-
Wisdom.
-
Victory in Christ.
-
In Christ.
-
You cannot begin to worry about those things.
-
That salvation package was given to you.
-
And when you open up that salvation package, there's all the different components of that salvation package.
-
Part of it is eternal redemption from sin, eternal redemption from hell.
-
But then there's a part of for physical healing, and there's a part for financial victory, and there's a part for your family, and there's there's a box in that package for everything.
-
And it's all found in Christ.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Are you following me?
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Amen.
-
Now understand this.
-
That's why you'll hear people that'll say, well, you know, I don't have this, and you name it, I don't have an education, I don't this, I don't that.
-
They are identifying in themselves.
-
And their belief system is limited because they're not expanding it by believing who they are in Christ.
-
Amen.
-
Make much of your redemption.
-
Because it's the victory.
-
Second Corinthians 5?
-
Am I helping you?
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Verse 16.
-
Now he's talking about people.
-
Well, let's start in verse 15.
-
Well, let's start in verse 14.
-
Let's go back to verse 1.
-
No, not really.
-
For the love of Christ constrains us because we judge that if one died for all, then we're all dead.
-
Now, see, when I read those verses, I ask myself, did one die for all?
-
Yes, because why?
-
All were dead in trespasses and sin.
-
Every person born into this people planet is born dead in sin.
-
And verse 15, that he died for all, for what reason?
-
That they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him that died for them and rose again.
-
Wherefore, or in light of that, from now on, now he's writing to believers, from now on, we know no man after the flesh.
-
Now what do you do with that?
-
Because Paul says if he's born again, we don't know him after the flesh.
-
Is that right?
-
Listen, I I've worked for decades with recovery systems, meaning uh alcohol, uh uh drug recovery.
-
Taught recovery classes for 15, 18 years.
-
15 years in the in the jail in the uh state penitentiary, uh state prison in Kansas.
-
And here, listen, no matter what program you're using, if if you've heard of the 12 steps of AA, the very first step is we have come to this understanding that our lives have become unmanageable.
-
And it's gonna take a power greater than ourselves to restore our lives back to sanity.
-
It's gonna take something greater than myself.
-
So, what do we do?
-
I'm gonna admit, in that case, that I'm an alcoholic.
-
I have no power over this.
-
Right?
-
What did you do when you came to Christ and could not save yourself and could not quit sinning?
-
What did you do?
-
You admitted, I'm a sinner in need of a savior.
-
And I need you to save me because I can't save myself.
-
Is that right?
-
And the Bible said you believed in your heart and you confessed with your mouth that Jesus was Lord, and what happened?
-
You were saved.
-
Is that right?
-
Whatever you were before that, you were no longer that.
-
So, as by virtue of who we are in Christ, I could no longer identify with that because I'm not known after the flesh anymore.
-
You're not known after the flesh in heaven, you're known after who you are in Christ.
-
Hallelujah.
-
The angels look at you and they say, There's the beloved of God.
-
The angels look at you and they say, There's the sons and the daughters of God.
-
They never look at you and say, There's broken people and there's somebody struggling, and that person's this.
-
They all look at you the way that God looks at you.
-
When God looks at you, he sees a perfectly formed individual that has all the victory that heaven bought for them.
-
And he's saying, just sit right here in your place in Christ and walk in your victory.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And we're gonna preach it, and we're gonna teach it, we're gonna teach it across our city, our state, our nation, and our world, the Lord give us life.
-
We're gonna do it.
-
Amen.
-
Do you see that?
-
Henceforth, we know no man after the flesh.
-
That word no, ginosko, to have a mental knowledge, the the way that I think.
-
I don't think about you after the flesh.
-
Amen.
-
You know, I don't know everybody's background in here, and I don't want to know everybody's background in here.
-
I know you after Christ and not after the flesh.
-
Oh, hallelujah!
-
Praise God.
-
I had a guy sit in my office one time and he came for help, came for pastoral care.
-
And I said, How can I help you?
-
And he had this look of just shame on his face.
-
He goes, Pastor, you just don't know what I've done.
-
And I leaned up and leaned over my desk and looked at him with all the sincerity I had and said, You don't know what I've done.
-
That's not the issue.
-
We're not here to discuss what you've done.
-
We're here to discuss how to get over it.
-
We're here to discuss how to get up, get uh, get past it, how to find out who you are in Christ.
-
If we got to repent, we'll repent.
-
If we gotta ask for forgiveness, we'll ask for forgiveness.
-
But the goal is to find out who we are in Christ and not know ourselves after the flesh anymore.
-
When who you used to be is the biggest person on your mind, you're constantly thinking you're gonna fail after that example.
-
Every time I turn around, this thing just shows up and I do pretty good, but I get here and I fail.
-
They're expecting to fail.
-
What does the Bible say that in Christ we do in every situation?
-
Triumph.
-
It got really quiet.
-
Well, you know, Pastor, we all face things.
-
We all face things, and we all should overcome them.
-
Let me go over here.
-
These guys, these guys are really intent, they're watching me.
-
So we face things, but we ought to overcome them.
-
Is that right?
-
When I found out who I was in Christ, I just started expecting to win.
-
You gotta understand how I was raised.
-
I was raised to not expect nothing.
-
Now my parents love the Lord, and and don't I'm I don't have parent issues.
-
I just want you to see that's just the way it was.
-
They were not raised that way.
-
They were not raised to expect anything.
-
I was not raised to expect anything.
-
Don't expect too much.
-
And here was the saying, because if you don't expect too much, you won't be disappointed when it don't come.
-
Right?
-
So we're just getting by.
-
Man, when when when I heard Kenneth Copeland make the statement over 30 years ago, almost 33 years ago, we'll be married 33 years next week.
-
And I heard Kenneth Copeland make the statement right after we got married.
-
He said there There are laws that govern everything that we see.
-
There are laws that govern the natural realm, and there are laws that govern the spiritual realm.
-
And he said, once you begin to understand these laws, you are undefeatable, were the devil's concern.
-
And this was one of those laws.
-
I am in Christ.
-
And it came to me that anybody that was against me, they were not just against me, they were against me in Christ.
-
And all those verses, you know the verse, no weapon formed against you will prosper.
-
Every tongue that rises up against you in judgment, you'll condemn it.
-
In Christ.
-
In Christ.
-
Not just because of me, in Christ.
-
Amen.
-
I was on my job that day, and that that unit manager came to me and threatened to fire me.
-
And my righteous indignation came up.
-
Because I had watched this person come in drunk, smelling like a brewery.
-
One time they had to take her in the ladies' room, clean her up because she'd been out all night and came to us, smelled like, amen.
-
Jose Cuelvro really was a friend of hers.
-
And here comes this not living for God lady that I did get to witness to eventually.
-
But here's the thing: she said, you know, we could fire you.
-
Man.
-
I thought about, wait a minute, who am I in Christ?
-
You know, be just being in Christ doesn't mean you're little baby Jesus, meek and mild.
-
It brings a boldness to you.
-
And I looked at her and I said, You can't fire me because you didn't hire me.
-
God gave me this job, and there's nothing you can do about it.
-
Amen.
-
Two months I had her job.
-
Not only did I have her job, I had the main lady's job.
-
It wasn't because of me.
-
Listen, he said, look, he said this.
-
He said that when they touch you, they are touching you in Christ.
-
They're dealing with somebody that is in Christ with authority over all power, all dominion, every name that is named.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And that's where we run, oh Lord, there's so much here.
-
That's where we run into positions.
-
And you got Christians that don't want to get involved in politics, and you got Christians that don't want to get involved in that.
-
And they're taking authority out of the political realm.
-
If you, if we've got a voice into the things of our nation and into the things of our state, and we have the authority, we have what we say.
-
Our declarations carry power because we're saying it from in Christ.
-
Don't ever think your voice don't matter.
-
Because you're a person in Christ.
-
He said in Proverbs, by the blessing of the upright, the city prospers.
-
Amen.
-
Whoo, glory.
-
So I got bold.
-
Amen.
-
I've tempered over the years.
-
I'm no less bold, but I've tempered.
-
Amen.
-
Am I helping you?
-
In Christ.
-
So he said, henceforth, we know no man after the flesh.
-
We've known Christ after the flesh, but now we don't know him that way no more.
-
Therefore, in light of knowing no man after the flesh, if any man is in Christ.
-
He is.
-
Now understand, I know you can if you think wrong.
-
But if you're thinking right, if you're new, can you think like you used to be?
-
If you're new.
-
No.
-
When he said, be renewed in the spirit of your mind, when he said, present your body a living sacrifice, and do not be conform to this world anymore, but be can be conform to the to the word of God by the renewing of your mind, be renewed, renewing your mind.
-
What are you renewing your mind to?
-
Position.
-
I'm renewing my mind to position.
-
Who I am in Christ.
-
It's the word of God that renews your mind.
-
But how, listen, how often, somewhere in the neighborhood of 144 times, the Bible uses the phrases in Christ, in him, in whom, by him, through him, somewhere over 140 times, it tells us who we are in Christ.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So when someone says, How are you?
-
Overcome him.
-
Victorious.
-
Oh, me?
-
I have more than enough.
-
I'm saying who I am in Christ.
-
Those are not just positive words.
-
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, a new species of being, a new creation.
-
Old things.
-
Are, are, are, are, are, are.
-
Why do they have to be passed away?
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
That's what I used to be.
-
What I am is new.
-
Praise God.
-
Amen.
-
Yeah, but I still think it takes a minute for your mind to catch up to who you are.
-
And your mind has to be subdued and brought into subjection as to who you are.
-
Amen.
-
Therefore, for any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
-
Old things are passed away.
-
All things are become new.
-
Now don't stop.
-
And all things.
-
What things?
-
All those new things are of God.
-
Who has done what?
-
Reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation.
-
All those old things are passed away.
-
All those new things have come.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You know, if you ask a man what his job is, he'll tell you what he does.
-
Right?
-
Hey, what's your job?
-
Ah, I work down here.
-
I work in construction.
-
I do this.
-
I do.
-
I'll tell you what they do.
-
And by telling you what they do, you can identify them.
-
They are a carpenter.
-
They are a painter.
-
They are a farmer.
-
Right?
-
You walk out and you see certain tools in the back of a guy's truck.
-
You can figure out that's what he does.
-
That's he's a he's a plumber.
-
He's electrician.
-
He's right?
-
Amen.
-
Those things have to be evident in people's lives.
-
Well, that person's always victorious.
-
Yeah, they're in Christ.
-
That person's always walking in victory.
-
They're in Christ.
-
Doesn't mean we don't face things, but we face things from what?
-
The position of who we are in Christ.
-
Never expect to not make it.
-
You're in Christ.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You know why a lot of ministers struggle?
-
Because they get under pressure.
-
They get under pressure.
-
And you'll see a minister, he'll do whatever, he'll he'll fold, he won't teach, whatever.
-
He's under pressure because he's looking at people as his source instead of who he is in Christ.
-
You understand that?
-
It's the same way with you.
-
If you look at your job as your source, you're limited to your job.
-
The Bible says all the riches of wisdom and knowledge are in him.
-
Right?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Look at 1 Corinthians 1.
-
Say it out loud, in Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Verse 26, you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called, but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world.
-
That is the Greek word moroni, and it means morons.
-
God hath chosen the morons of the world, those that the world thinks that way of them, to do what?
-
To confound the wise.
-
And God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty, and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are.
-
For what reason?
-
That no flesh should glory in his presence.
-
I cannot take one ounce of credit for anything that God does other than I believe him.
-
No flesh glories in his presence.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Amen.
-
Do you see this?
-
But of him are you.
-
Oh, hallelujah.
-
Of him, God, are you in Christ?
-
In Christ, I'm of God.
-
Three times in John 17, Jesus said, please let the disciples know, Father, that they are not of this world, even as I am not of this world.
-
Even as, even as I'm not of this world.
-
How is it that we can walk in power in authority and victory over all power, all might, all dominion, every name that we're not of this world.
-
We're of God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
This suit that you have on, this earth suit, gives you the right to operate in the authority that's yours by being in Christ.
-
This is not you.
-
This is your ability to walk the earth and get the work of God done.
-
This is not you.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Angels don't even operate in the authority that we operate in.
-
They have to be sent.
-
They have to be authorized to go do something.
-
They can't just make things happen.
-
Are you following me?
-
It says they're hearkening to what?
-
The voice of his word.
-
So there's things they want to do for you.
-
You've got to authorize them to do it.
-
Why?
-
They don't have the authority to just come in and do it.
-
Who has the authority to just make it change?
-
You and me.
-
Why?
-
Because we have a right to be here, because we're born into this earth, but we are born into this earth and reborn from heaven above.
-
The Bible says we are citizens of heaven and we've been sent to the earth in this earth suit with all the authority of being in Christ.
-
Amen.
-
And that's why when you send the ministering spirits, hear me when I say this, they go in your authority.
-
They go to do your work, to do your bidding.
-
Are you following me?
-
And they just go do what they're supposed to do.
-
The Bible says in Hebrews 1, they're all servants, they're all sent to serve the heirs of salvation.
-
This is important.
-
So we don't walk the earth as though we're subject to everything that's going on in the world.
-
We walk the earth as those that have authority.
-
Amen.
-
When you got born again, you became anything but normal.
-
You're not normal.
-
You're a man or a woman with the authority that's yours by virtue of being in Christ.
-
We look at those things that Jesus did and we say, Oh, wasn't that wonderful what Jesus did?
-
He said, Greater works than those you'll do.
-
Is that right?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Well, Pastor, have you ever walked on the water?
-
Just because I've never had to.
-
He wasn't out there vibing to his airpods walking on the water, just hanging out.
-
That's not what he was doing.
-
He had to get back to his home base.
-
The disciples had already left.
-
He just walked on the water.
-
Why?
-
Because he had to.
-
Are you following me?
-
If you have to, can you?
-
According to Scripture, you can.
-
Now watch, people, he says we can walk on the water.
-
However, you want to say it.
-
I'm telling you, I've never done it because I don't have to.
-
Well, what about turning the water into wine?
-
Never had to.
-
I say never had to.
-
But yet I know I know stories of people that I have great confidence in that watched things multiply.
-
They were ministering to people that didn't have anything, feeding them, and they looked at the line of people and looked at the food they had left and said, There's no way we're going to be able to feed all these people.
-
And the amount of food never changed in the bottom of the of the container, but they fed everybody with that same amount.
-
And it never it never got any higher, but it never got any lower.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Most of us don't need that kind of miracle.
-
But if I need it, do I have access to it?
-
In Christ I do.
-
I say, in Christ I do.
-
In Christ, say out loud, in Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Let me hurry.
-
Of him are you in Christ, Jesus, who of God is made unto us.
-
Who of God.
-
Meaning he became for us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
-
That according to his written, he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
-
So everything I am is because of who I am in Christ.
-
Can't take the credit for it.
-
Can't take the glory for it.
-
It's in Christ.
-
But yet in Christ, saying it's in Christ does not diminish you.
-
It's giving proper glory and proper honor.
-
Because you'll hear people say, oh, brother, it's all him.
-
It's all him.
-
It's not me.
-
Well, that's wrong.
-
One man sang a song, sang it beautifully, sang it on stage.
-
Bill Gaither was there, true story.
-
Doing the whole MC thing.
-
And the man walked off the stage, and Brother Bill grabbed him and said, That was wonderful, brother.
-
And he said, Oh, Brother Bill, that was all Jesus.
-
He said, No, it wasn't.
-
Jesus is better than that.
-
So when someone says, Well, it's not me.
-
None of me, Lord, and all of you, that's a very religious, hypocritical prayer.
-
Because if he don't use you to get it done, it's not going to get done.
-
And you'll hear people say, speak through my lips, think through my thoughts, act through my actions.
-
None of me, Lord, all of you.
-
Well, just go ahead and sit down and let him do it.
-
Don't diminish who you are in Christ by debasing you.
-
Amen.
-
I am anointed to change people's lives in Christ.
-
But he gave me that anointing.
-
Praise God.
-
Right?
-
I see pastors and preachers diminishing who they are.
-
If a man's a man or a woman is the pastor of a church, they have, if not the single greatest calling in the world, one of the greatest callings in the world, because you're constantly speaking to people, renewing their minds, helping them walk out the plan of God for their life.
-
You're anything but normal.
-
Amen.
-
And it's in Christ.
-
That anointing came in Christ.
-
In Christ, you're anointed to be a husband.
-
In Christ, you're anointed to be a wife.
-
In Christ, I'm anointed to be a parent.
-
I know how to do it.
-
I can do it.
-
I can make it work.
-
I can figure out these things.
-
Why I'm in Christ.
-
In Christ, I can love my wife like Christ loves the church and give myself for her.
-
In Christ, I can submit myself one to another.
-
In Christ, I can walk in love.
-
In Christ, I can turn the other cheek.
-
In Christ, why?
-
I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
-
So when you step out in Christ and say, I'm going to walk in love, here comes that strength.
-
Because I'm going to do it.
-
I was talking to a person one time, helping with their marriage, and this person said this.
-
They said, you know, a person can only take so much.
-
You know, you can only stay take this so long.
-
And I looked at them and I said, 1 Corinthians 13 says, You're wrong.
-
Because this says love endures and bears up under anything and everything that comes.
-
It says love is ever willing to think the best of every person.
-
How do I do that?
-
In Christ.
-
In Christ.
-
In Christ.
-
I say in Christ.
-
See, in Christ, I'm anointed to do that.
-
Don't diminish that.
-
Oh, brother, I'm nothing.
-
Then when the challenge arises, you'll think like nothing.
-
Amen.
-
I I grew up.
-
I grew up in West Texas.
-
Bless its holy name.
-
And uh, I know I'm in Arkansas, so that's that's a bad thing.
-
Grew up in Texas.
-
And uh very, very early on, very early on, I started working in uh in uh ranching.
-
And uh my brother-in-law and his family uh headed up a cattle operation, and I started working when probably right after I turned 12, 13 years of age, I started working there.
-
And uh by the ninth grade, I was working full-time there.
-
And here's my point is uh we did a lot of team roping.
-
And uh we would go on the weekends and travel on team rope and and and do different things.
-
You don't know what team roping is.
-
It's you got two two guys on a horse, and one called the header, one called the healer, and you got a steer in the middle, got horns about this long, and they they let him out of the chute, and uh the header ropes his head around his horns, turns the steer, the healer comes in for his back legs.
-
You get both of them, you get a flat time, you get one, you get a plus five.
-
Well, that that that's the general idea.
-
Well, here's the thing.
-
Here's the thing.
-
To do that good, it had to become second nature.
-
You couldn't just do it every now and then.
-
You had to do it all the time.
-
Right?
-
And what began to happen is you went from being a guy that sat on a horse to being one with that horse.
-
And you went from being the guy that held a rope to that rope became a part of you.
-
I was roping constantly.
-
I I had a bale of hay at home with a rubber steer head in it.
-
And when I got home from roping, I roped.
-
Because I was getting to the place where you went to these ropings and you paid a certain amount to enter.
-
And then you won a certain amount.
-
Well, you're not there to give your money away.
-
And that's my job, right?
-
Well, here's my point.
-
So, man, I roped and roped and roped and got I got pretty good.
-
I wasn't by any means championship quality because I didn't do it long enough.
-
I gave my life to the Lord, and and that wasn't compatible with what the Lord had called me to do.
-
It is compatible.
-
Like Tom Underhill in Russellville, Russellville Christian Center.
-
He roped and rode horses up.
-
I don't know how old he was when he did it.
-
When I met him, when Michelle was ministering at uh uh their women's conference, uh I went up in his office and there was all these saddles and buckles and and and and him and uh I'm trying to remember the guy's name.
-
I can't remember his name.
-
I know him.
-
Uh he's ordained with Brother Jerry, but they used to do uh ropings together and bring guys together and do discipleship, and and it was a great thing.
-
But here's the point is I did that for so long that it just became something that I knew I knew how to do.
-
I didn't just do it every now and then, I knew how to do it, and it became second nature.
-
Well, you fast forward, we were, I don't know, we had been pastoring in the Kansas City area for maybe I think 15 years at the time.
-
And every year they have uh a big barbecue in Kansas.
-
It's called the American Royal Barbecue and Rodeo.
-
And and uh big barbecue, and if you know anything about Kansas City Barbecue, dear Lord, it'll wrap around your eye teeth, you'll go blind for a minute.
-
It's delicious.
-
Amen.
-
And so we go down and have some barbecue and go to the stock show and and these different things.
-
Well, we're walking along and and uh and uh all of a sudden we come on this exhibit and they have uh a bale of hay and a steer head.
-
And they're having people rope, right?
-
And I'm I'm not making fun, but you have these these guys, they're gonna go up and rope, and and when you're using a rope, you you have your loop, right?
-
Then you have your tongue right here, it's it's it's like this, and it has a leather piece around it, and your rope runs through that, right?
-
And when you when you rope that animal, you jerk your slack, slack comes back, and then you go to your horn and you dally around your saddle horns got a bunch of inner tube around it, and so it won't slip, and you turn the animal.
-
Right?
-
Well, you got your coils over here, because you got a several feet of rope, and your loop is probably five foot, four foot, five foot, big loop.
-
And uh when you swing that rope, it it who it's you can hear it, it's cutting through the air.
-
And so you saw all these guys, and they were up there, they didn't have any coils, and they had a loop about this big, and here's how they're doing it.
-
And well, you can guess what happened, it's going straight up in the air.
-
And so I wasn't even gonna do anything, I'm just watching, right?
-
And uh, our oldest daughter was with us, Jessica, and Jessica is loud and will just say what's on her mind.
-
All right?
-
I love her for that.
-
And so we're standing there, she goes, Daddy, just show us how it's done.
-
And then everybody standing around is looking at daddy.
-
Right?
-
Well, I went up and I picked up the rope.
-
The first thing I did was coil it up.
-
One coil.
-
Then I built the loop, and you you don't grab it up here by the tongue, you grab it about a foot down.
-
Gives you a better weight on that rope, more balance.
-
Right?
-
I stepped up, and my wife said this.
-
She said, the sound was so much different.
-
I said, I have not, I have not roped a steer in 20 years.
-
All right?
-
I stepped up, I took three swings.
-
First time, roped it.
-
And the guy goes, I knew that you were gonna rope that steer, he said, because every person that knows how to do it, the first thing they do is coil up the rope and build the loop.
-
Now, here's the thing I didn't even think about it, it was still such a part of me, muscle memory, I didn't even have to think about it.
-
I can do it today.
-
And I've not I've not roped off of a horse in over 30 years.
-
Here's what I'm trying to explain to you.
-
In Christ, God gave you the wisdom to do everything you need to do.
-
If you'll just step out and do it, the knowledge is already there.
-
Because it's in Christ.
-
What's that?
-
Got to become your nature.
-
I gotta become one with who I am in Christ.
-
That's why in Christ I have no identity of my own.
-
I have none.
-
I have no identity of my own.
-
Say it out loud.
-
In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
Now that's the answer.
-
That's the answer.
-
Everything finds its answer in Christ.
-
Right?
-
I can't lose in Christ because in Christ I am victorious.
-
I can't be defeated in Christ because in Christ I've already won the victory.
-
You might be facing something here today, and it looks like you're facing it.
-
It looks like you're having to deal with it.
-
But here's the thing: you're dealing with it from your position in Christ.
-
So you are dealing with it from a position of victory, not from a position of trying to gain victory.
-
If you're dealing with a financial issue in here, you may see a need for finances, but you're dealing with that from the position of who you are in Christ.
-
And in Christ, every need is supplied.
-
In Christ, you have more than enough.
-
In Christ, you have all sufficiency in all things.
-
In Christ, you do abound to every good work.
-
In Christ, money cometh to me now.
-
Is that right?
-
You might be dealing with a physical issue, but in Christ, I'm the healed of the Lord.
-
In Christ, stripes were laid on his back, blood was shed.
-
In Christ, I am the healed of the Lord.
-
In Christ, I am well, whole, and healed in Jesus' name.
-
In Christ.
-
And so, what's the what's the goal?
-
To see myself in Christ.
-
I used to listen to Trina Hankins sing that song.
-
When he sees me, he sees me in Christ.
-
Man, that would just turn it tear me up.
-
And I thought about Pastor praying that day, and the Lord saying to him, In Christ, I have no identity of my own.
-
And I'll talk to him about that on our trips.
-
I'll talk to him about that.
-
Because I'm constantly meditating on that.
-
And I'll ask myself, if in Christ I have no identity of my own, what is this attempt that tries to get me to identify a different way?
-
This is going to sound overly simplified, but the devil knows if he can get you thinking like you're outside of Christ, he can defeat you.
-
Never allow yourself to think like you're outside of Christ.
-
Amen.
-
Do you see that?
-
When somebody says, hey, how are things going for you?
-
Going great.
-
In the name of Jesus, I have the victory.
-
In Christ, I can do all things.
-
They might know you're facing things.
-
There are times in the church I know people are facing things, and it blesses me so much when I go.
-
You know, there's a I got so much to say here.
-
There's a difference between going up to somebody and them answering like a parrot.
-
Right?
-
The Lord told me one time about people's authority.
-
He said there are people that are parroting what others have said about authority, and they're not exercising their own authority.
-
Right?
-
Let me use somebody else.
-
I won't use my church because you might be here.
-
Let me use somebody else.
-
My friend, Scott Webb from Birmingham, Alabama.
-
I've known Scott for years.
-
And uh he went to Rhema one year, Rhema camp meeting.
-
And he said, There were two people I wanted to talk to.
-
One was uh a man, a minister, and the other one was Oretha Hagin, Brother Hagin's wife.
-
Both of these people were dealing with cancer.
-
All right, Sister Hagin was dealing with it, and this man was dealing with it.
-
And he found this man and he went up to him and he said, Man, I heard about what you're dealing with, and he said, How can I get in there and pull with you?
-
And here's what this man said.
-
Well, the Bible just has too much to say about healing for it not to be true.
-
Well, the Bible does have too much for it to say, to say about healing for it not to be true, but that's not a confession of healing.
-
You're just saying that the Bible says it.
-
He had even written pamphlets on healing to pass out.
-
And Scott said he told me this story personally, and he told it publicly, that's why I'm telling it.
-
But he told me personally.
-
He said, I could tell right there he don't have it.
-
Right?
-
Then he went and found Sister Hagin.
-
Now I know what you're thinking.
-
Well, Sister Hagin lives with Kenneth Hagin, right?
-
But Sister Hagin had to use her faith.
-
Michelle's body is not my physical body.
-
If she will allow me, I have a right by virtue of her being my wife to take authority over those things that are attacking her body.
-
But ultimately, she's got to believe God.
-
Right?
-
Doesn't matter how much faith I have.
-
He went and found Sister Oretha and he said, You know, heard what's going on?
-
How are you doing?
-
I'm the healed of the Lord in the name of Jesus.
-
This is being driven out of my body.
-
I'm well and whole and healed in Jesus' name.
-
I'll not die, but I'll live and declare the works of the Lord.
-
See the difference?
-
One is responding from what they know is in the Bible.
-
The other is responding from their position in Christ.
-
If I call Brother Eddie and I say, Brother Eddie, where are you at?
-
And he says, I'm in Stuttgart.
-
Where is he at?
-
Where he told me he was in.
-
He's in that city.
-
Should I look for him in Russellville?
-
Should I look for him?
-
In BB.
-
Where should I look for him?
-
Stuttgart.
-
If I'm looking for you, where should I look?
-
In Christ.
-
Where will I find you?
-
In Christ.
-
Where will you find your victory?
-
In Christ.
-
Don't look for your victory somewhere other than where you're in.
-
Because it's all right there.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Say it out loud one more time.
-
In Christ.
-
I have no identity of my own.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Father, we just pray today that what we've ministered.
-
Lord, it's been by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
-
It's been by the will of the Father.
-
I pray in the name of Jesus that every person under the sound of my voice would see themselves in Christ.
-
See themselves seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ, far above all principality, all power, all might, all dominion, every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
-
And that any thoughts that are contrary to who they are in Christ, they would cast them down, that they would trample them under feet, and they would allow them no sway in their life in the name of Jesus.
-
For we are victorious in Christ.
-
We are overcomers in Christ.
-
We are healed in Christ.
-
We are blessed financially in Christ.
-
All the fullness of the Godhead bodily belongs to us by virtue of us being in Christ.
-
And Father, we thank you for it in the name of Jesus.
-
Amen.
-
Don't forget, next Sunday evening, uh the Call Wells will be with us ministering the Word.
-
And we're excited about what God is doing in their life and ministry.
-
And uh, you know, as you pray, uh we're, you know, we're partners, our ministry is partners with VTN.
-
Oh, we're partners with Happy Call Well Ministries.
-
And so uh, you know, as you pray, we want to pray for the advancement of VTN, uh for the continued uh progress of that network.
-
Um, you know, God said, and many of you were there, uh, you know, Agape, the ministry, the church, Agape, they they paid for VTN.
-
I mean, they that church built VTN.
-
And the Lord said to Pastor, he said, that VTN would be a window that God could pour his love through to the people of Central Arkansas.
-
And, you know, that hadn't changed.
-
Every time I'm with him, I'm talking to him about that.
-
And I was asking him on this recent trip, uh, the last couple days, we were coming back yesterday, and I asked him, I said, When you were building VTN, how are you praying about this?
-
Because there's, you know, there's things God's asking us to do.
-
And I'm I'm a big one to say this.
-
I don't need to go reinvent the wheel.
-
I need to find out how to do something and just do it, right?
-
That's why that generation knows what needs to be done.
-
They can tell us.
-
Amen.
-
Well, here's the thing that the Lord really impressed on me, and we're going to do it even more in our church.
-
Um supporting that ministry, is that we we got to understand that window is still open in Central Arkansas.
-
And God's still pouring his love through that window of VTN.
-
There, there are people under the sound of my voice.
-
You heard about our ministry off of VTN.
-
We've got people every there for a while, every week, every other week.
-
How'd you hear about us on TV, VTN?
-
Right?
-
And so it's still there.
-
And so when you pray, put VTN on your prayer list.
-
Put Happy Call Will Ministries on your prayer list.
-
Why?
-
They're such an integral part of our church.
-
We have such honor for them.
-
Uh our lives were radically transformed when they came into our lives.
-
And so uh uh it's it's important that we understand that and recognize that and walk in honor with those that God called us to.
-
There are people on the sound of my voice.
-
Your life was impacted by their ministry.
-
That there are people that come to our church that were saved at agape all those years ago.
-
And so we're we're privileged to have a part of that.
-
But I just want to say before we go, just keep them on your mind, keep them in your spirit, keep them on your prayer list, and let's believe God for great things.
-
I believe that VTN's greatest days are still ahead of it.
-
I believe I believe there's a new branch of ministry that's coming, and I believe that God's gonna do that, and uh we're gonna see great things.
-
Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Let's say it together.
-
Six o'clock tonight, we'll be here ministering.
