  4. And um we had been looking at uh the basics of healing, the fundamentals of healing.

  5. And um there's things that we have to understand about the healing power of God.

  6. And uh Luke chapter 5.

    Luke 5 chapter mention

  7. And we'll start in verse 17.

  8. And this is a uh again a somewhat familiar passage, but it's so important because we see some things here.

  9. Uh Jesus is in Capernaum in his home.

  10. And verse 17 it says, It came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

  11. Notice the sequence.

  12. Jesus was there, the people needing healing were there, and the healing power was there.

  13. Right?

  14. So Jesus was there, the people that needed healing were there, and the healing power was there, was present.

  15. Uh Moffat translation says the power of the Lord was present for the work of healing.

  16. Another translation says God's power was obviously present for Jesus to heal the sick.

  17. And so there's a couple of things that we see is that number one, Jesus needed the power of the Lord to heal.

  18. And secondly, the reason the power was there was for the purpose of healing.

  19. For the purpose of healing.

  20. When the power of the Lord in in any event, any area, any ministry uh time that I'm involved in, if the power of the Holy Spirit begins flowing, I stop, I ask myself inside, why is the power here?

  21. Because the power of God, the anointing of God, it can be shouted off, it can be ran off, it can be danced off, uh, it can be prayed off.

  22. I mean, when when that power of God shows up, when it arrives, there's a purpose for it.

  23. There's a reason for it being there.

  24. And uh, especially in in the circles I was raised in, Pentecostal circles, uh, you know, the power of God would show up, and sure enough, you'll want to run, you'll want to dance, and there's a time to run and dance.

  25. But when that power is there and it's present, there's there's there's a necessity to stop and ask, why is it here?

  26. I remember Brother Hagan uh recounting a time that he was in a church ministering on a Sunday morning, and he said he was ministering, and he said the power of God really came heavily upon him, and he said, I just wanted to run.

  27. And he said, But right here inside, I knew I didn't need to do that.

  28. And he said, I kept ministering a little while later, and the same thing happened, and I just wanted to run.

  29. But that happened three or four times, and about the fourth time that it happened, third time that it happened, he said the back door opened and they brought a man paralyzed in a wheelchair, and the Lord said, That's what the power is here for.

  30. Right?

  31. So it could have been ran off.

  32. Now, that that doesn't mean we don't run.

  33. It doesn't mean we don't dance and shout.

  34. That's not that's not the point.

  35. The point is, I've got to ask, why is the power here?

  36. It emphasizes, notice, that the power was there to heal them.

  37. It was there for the work of healing, it was there for Jesus to heal the sick.

  38. Hallelujah.

  39. The emphasis is the power was there for the purpose of healing.

  40. The power is always there for a purpose.

  41. It's always there for a reason.

  42. And there's something to be said there that if the power's not there, there's a reason.

  43. There's a uh a reason why it's not there.

  44. But it goes on and it says in verse 18, and behold, men brought in a bed a man that was taken with a palsy, paralysis, and they sought means to bring him in to lay him before him.

  45. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went up on the housetop and led him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

  46. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, your sins are forgiven you.

  47. And you'll recall that the those those religious leaders, those uh scribes and Pharisees that were sick, but needed healing, uh, begin to reason in their hearts, saying, Who speaks blasphemies?

  48. And then Jesus asked him, Why are you uh reasoning in your hearts, whether it's easier to say your sins be forgiven you, or to say, rise up and walk.

  49. But then in verse 21, 24, excuse me, he said, That you may know the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins.

  50. He said to the sick of the palsy, Arise, take up your couch and go into your house.

  51. Immediately he rose up before him, took up whereon he laid and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

  52. Now, notice Jesus called their action faith.

  53. He called that action faith.

  54. Bringing the man, letting him down through the tiling, Jesus saw their faith.

  55. He didn't see the hole in the roof, he didn't see the other people with a problem with it.

  56. He saw their faith.

  57. All right?

  58. So we again we have a sequence here.

  59. This man desires to be healed.

  60. It's evident that he desires to be healed.

  61. He let his friends bring him, his friends desire for him to be healed.

  62. All right?

  63. His desire led to action.

  64. All right, his desire led to action.

  65. Whatever a person desires, it'll be followed by an action.

  66. All right, if I desire to know more about something, it will be followed by the action of placing that in my mind, placing that in my heart.

  67. If I desire to go somewhere, it'll be followed by the action of going to that place.

  68. So desire and action.

  69. Now, I'll take a moment on this because that's why desire is just not enough.

  70. Right?

  71. Desire is one of the missing elements in many people's faith, but it's not enough.

  72. Right?

  73. Because Jesus said, Whatever you desire, right, when you pray, believe that you receive it.

  74. So that desire had to meet faith.

  75. But it started with desire.

  76. Every person that I know that's ever dealt with any sickness or disease and been healed from it, it started with a desire to be well.

  77. All right?

  78. But the desire can't, you can't stay at the desire phase.

  79. Because desire is simply, I want this, I desire this, I want to be healed.

  80. Right?

  81. Desire then led them to action.

  82. And in another account in the four gospels, when they got there, uh not only could they, they they couldn't even get close, they couldn't even get in the door.

  83. The Bible says there was no room around the door for them to get in.

  84. And so they they figured out a way to get him before Jesus.

  85. But here's the point their action, their desire led them to action.

  86. That's that's in whatever area uh of life that we're dealing with.

  87. And of course, we're dealing with healing, but in whatever area, if I have a strong desire, right?

  88. I have a saying on my wall, whatever you ardently desire, right?

  89. Whatever you ardently desire, whatever you earnestly believe and enthusiastically act upon will come to pass in your life.

  90. But it starts with that ardent desire, right?

  91. And and what happens very often is if I leave it just at that desire phase, then I never move into the action because I talk about what I want.

  92. I wanted, I had a relative, he was so big on talking about what he wanted.

  93. What he desired, I want to do this, and if I had the money, I would do this, and and if I had this, I would do this, but his desire never moved over into action.

  94. Right?

  95. Have you ever known parents that their child will come to them and say, you know, talk about their desires or whatever?

  96. Like maybe they'll come and say, uh, I would like to have a lemonade stand.

  97. Right?

  98. And the parent, instead of helping them act on that, they say, What do you mean, we live in the cul-de-sac?

  99. Nobody around here drinks uh lemonade.

  100. That's not a good idea.

  101. Well, what they do, they just put out that desire.

  102. Right?

  103. I mean, what's it gonna hurt to put a table out there and make some lemonade?

  104. Not gonna hurt anything.

  105. Right?

  106. And so what happens is when you see timid faith, when you see timid faith, you see a person that they're not acting on their desires.

  107. All right?

  108. If we use the analogy of raising children, we understand that if you're gonna dream big, not only are you gonna have to work, there's gonna be setbacks.

  109. There's gonna be things that look like it didn't work.

  110. Right?

  111. But what but what's it better to do?

  112. It's better to desire big and act big so you can receive big.

  113. Oh, hallelujah! Amen.

  114. This is so important.

  115. And so faith, faith is this uncontainable force of God that absolutely, according to the scripture, will bring about anything that we can desire.

  116. But they started with desire, they moved to action, and Jesus said that action was faith.

  117. He looked and he saw their faith.

  118. He saw their faith.

  119. Hallelujah.

  120. And notice what happened.

  121. When he saw their faith, the next part of that sequence was the man was healed.

  122. He saw their faith.

  123. What happened?

  124. Faith encountered the healing power of God.

  125. Right?

  126. Faith encountered the healing power of God.

  127. This healing power, we don't know how long they've been in this meeting.

  128. Right?

  129. We don't know how long the people have been there.

  130. You know, Jesus was known to teach all day.

  131. So we we don't know how long the people had been there.

  132. But ever how long they had been there, the healing power was present to heal them.

  133. Hallelujah.

  134. And this act of faith encountered the power of God.

  135. So the power was there, and this man's faith accessed it.

  136. This man's faith accessed it.

  137. When uh again, Brother Hagin was having a meeting in Birmingham, Alabama, or thereabout in that region, and uh he used to have week-long believers meetings.

  138. And uh good friend of mine pastored church, so they had just they hadn't had their church there too long.

  139. He's in Ramagrad.

  140. And uh so his church went over to support the meeting, his ushers were helping, so on and so forth.

  141. And uh Brother Hagin uh announced, he said, on Friday night, we're gonna be laying hands on people in wheelchairs, on stretchers, you know, people that can't, you know, walk, immobile, whatever, Friday night is the night.

  142. And uh there was a guy there in a wheelchair, and he's paralyzed from the waist down.

  143. And uh on the way out, this is on Monday.

  144. And on the way out, he's saying, Friday night's my night.

  145. Friday night is my night.

  146. I'm I'm coming out of this chair on Friday night.

  147. Right?

  148. And and that's that's that was that was his, we say his confession, but what was that?

  149. What was he voicing?

  150. His desire.

  151. I'm coming out of this chair.

  152. Right?

  153. And so all through the week, of course, Brother Hagin's teaching.

  154. They got services in the morning, services in the evening.

  155. Every time he's walking, he's they're wheeling him out.

  156. He said, Friday night's my night.

  157. Friday night is my night.

  158. Well, you can imagine, I mean, they get they get through the week and Friday night shows up.

  159. Now you would think, you know, this man is more excited.

  160. He's already decided Monday, Friday night is my night.

  161. It's all over, but getting out of the chair.

  162. That's it.

  163. Right?

  164. I I believe I have received, and I'm gonna come out of the chair.

  165. Well, of course, they they had several people on the platform around the platform in wheelchairs on stretchers.

  166. And Brother Hagin prayed for all of them.

  167. And you know, he prayed for some of them, they made some effort to try to get up.

  168. Man, he got to this guy and barely brushed his head, and the guy jumped up out of the chair.

  169. Staggered all over.

  170. Well, he hadn't walked in years, staggered all over the place, fell over in one of the usher's arms, and they both went on the ground.

  171. But he got up and he walked out.

  172. Walked out.

  173. Well, well, what happened?

  174. There were other people that were in the same condition.

  175. Right?

  176. Now, I don't know how long they'd been there.

  177. I don't maybe they'd been there all week.

  178. I don't know.

  179. But from the verse we read, it is possible to be in the presence of the healing power and not receive.

  180. Because faith has to access the power of God.

  181. Right?

  182. And so what is what very often is better, that's why people like F.F.

  183. Bosworth wrote Christ the Healer.

  184. He would not pray for anybody in a healing line until they had attended like three services.

  185. Because he said, the Bible says faith comes by hearing.

  186. And so they had a card, and every time they brought the card, they would mark that they had been in a service.

  187. And so when they brought the card and they had uh reached three services, he would pray for them.

  188. Now, I I understand that God can heal people without being in three services, but if I understand correctly that faith comes by hearing, I'm talking about receiving something that I can't see.

  189. I'm talking about receiving something that I may or may not feel.

  190. I've got to have my faith in place.

  191. And so the power was there, and this man's faith accessed it.

  192. His faith accessed it.

  193. Hallelujah.

  194. Faith is the transaction point.

  195. Faith is the transaction point, faith is the receiver of the healing power.

  196. Faith receives.

  197. Hallelujah.

  198. And uh when I understand that, I'll understand the necessity for building faith in my heart.

  199. Coming to these meetings.

  200. We don't we don't lay hands on in in every healing school because the the main purpose for healing school is building people's faith to get healed.

  201. So when we do lay hands, they receive.

  202. That's that's the key.

  203. And uh faith is the transaction point.

  204. Faith is the receiver of the healing power.

  205. And transmission of the healing power is only effective when met by faith.

  206. Only effective when met by faith.

  207. And listen, I've seen God heal people right after they were saved.

  208. I've seen God heal people that just walked in off the street.

  209. I mean, I understand.

  210. Uh uh, it it doesn't necessarily have to take a long time, but here's the thing: it has to be met by faith.

  211. It has to be met by faith in Mark chapter six.

  212. And verse one.

  213. It says, and he went out from thence, Jesus, and came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.

  214. And when the Sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, Where does this man have these things, and what wisdom is this that's given to him?

  215. That even such mighty works are wrought or worked by his hands.

  216. So notice the first thing we see is he's teaching, right?

  217. Well, if if we understand Jesus' own words, and then we understand what Peter taught in Acts chapter 10.

    Acts 10 chapter mention

  218. What Jesus was teaching was how God anointed him with the Holy Ghost and with power, and he was there to do good works and heal all that were oppressed of the devil.

  219. Right?

  220. That's what he's teaching, according to his own words and Peter's words.

  221. And notice the response.

  222. They were astonished.

  223. Notice it doesn't say they were faith-filled, it says they were astonished at what he said.

  224. And they asked, Where does he get these things?

  225. What wisdom is this is given to him?

  226. How are all these mighty works worked by his hands?

  227. Notice, is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joseph and Judah and Simon, Simeon, and are not his sisters here with us?

  228. And they were offended at him.

  229. They were offended at him.

  230. Now, very often the focus is on the offense, and I do believe that that's the seed that that caused this to uh come about.

  231. But notice they're they're making light of Jesus.

  232. They're making light of his ability to do what he said.

  233. Hallelujah.

  234. Yeah, I know people that that they're part of a local church.

  235. I've known people, they're part of a local church, they're part of a body that believes in healing, and their idea is I gotta go to one of the big dogs to get healed.

  236. Well, then why don't you just leave that church and not go there no more?

  237. You don't have any more confidence in your man of God than that.

  238. Go somewhere else.

  239. That's just the reality.

  240. The same healing power in some evangelist meeting is in the local church.

  241. I disagree with people that say I heard somebody say one time that they were talking to a well-known minister, and uh he was a healing evangelist, and uh he wanted to lay hands on ministers that wanted this uh impartation.

  242. And this man came up and he said, Well, I mean, I can't impart this to you.

  243. He said, Why?

  244. He said, Because you're a pastor.

  245. And he said, Well, number one, I'm not a pastor, but I don't understand how that makes any difference.

  246. It doesn't make any difference.

  247. The Bible doesn't say that only evangelists and apostles and prophets will lay hand on the sick and they'll recover.

  248. It's as in my name them that believe will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

  249. Right?

  250. You you're never gonna find a higher, deeper presence of the Lord in somebody else's meeting than you will in your own local body.

  251. It's dependent upon my level of belief in what God can do.

  252. Hallelujah.

  253. And so when it says they got offended at him, they disdained him, they dishonored him.

  254. Who is this?

  255. We know him.

  256. Now, notice.

  257. Jesus said a prophet's not without honor in his own country, among his own kin, in his own house.

  258. And he could there do no mighty work.

  259. Save that he laid his hands on a few sick folk and healed them.

  260. Now, it's understood in these verses there were a number of people that needed healing.

  261. Alright?

  262. Why?

  263. Because it says he could there do no mighty work, but he laid his hands on a few of them and healed them.

  264. Now, this is important.

  265. The healing power was there.

  266. How do we know?

  267. Because a few got healed.

  268. So the healing power was there.

  269. If one person gets healed in a meeting, the healing power was there.

  270. Now, and I know what people will, you know, a lot of times people say, well, you know, you're putting all the emphasis on me and you're acting.

  271. No, I'm just telling you, according to Scripture, the healing power was there.

  272. And he could do no mighty.

  273. Now, this is important because the word there, mighty, is the word dunamis.

  274. And it means wonderworking power.

  275. All right?

  276. Awesome power.

  277. He could do there no mighty work.

  278. Save, the King James says, meaning except.

  279. Except.

  280. So he did do mighty works.

  281. He did do powerful works there.

  282. Why?

  283. It says, except he laid his hands on a few, small number, ever how many a few is.

  284. I think a few is determined by the number of people present.

  285. If you have 500 people in a meeting, a hundred would be a few.

  286. If you have 5,000, 500 would be a few.

  287. If you have a hundred, eight would be a few.

  288. This is important because we see few and we think, oh, there weren't very many people healed.

  289. It depends on how many people were there.

  290. Jesus' ministry brought entire towns out, entire regions came to him.

  291. The Bible calls them multitudes because there was no way to number them.

  292. How do you number them?

  293. Innumerable amount.

  294. So I'm trying to emphasize something to you here.

  295. There was a group of people that exercised their faith.

  296. Because the healing power was accessed.

  297. A few sick people, weak, feeble, without strength.

  298. Alright?

  299. People.

  300. And notice it says, and he healed them.

  301. Now I've heard people preach and teach over the years that this means people with minor ailments.

  302. I've looked and looked and looked and looked for that, and I can't find it.

  303. I've looked in every concordance, I've looked in vines, I've looked in strong's, I've looked in young's, I've looked at every translation that I know of, and I've never found that.

  304. Now maybe they know something I don't know, but here's the point.

  305. When you look at this word, these were very sick people that were healed here.

  306. As a matter of fact, Rick Renner states that the Greek word for sick folk in this reference lets us know that they were extremely sick, critically ill individuals.

  307. Here's the reason.

  308. I'm not just trying to defend my theology as much as I am saying, so it says people will preach that and say, look, the Bible said he could do there no mighty work.

  309. He did, because it says, except he laid his hands on some very sick people and healed them.

  310. So he did do mighty works.

  311. Why?

  312. Because the healing power was there.

  313. And the few that the few that accessed it were healed.

  314. Hallelujah.

  315. See, every time you get in the presence of God, you've got to make up your mind.

  316. The healing power is there.

  317. I'm going to receive it.

  318. I'm going to receive it.

  319. It's not trying to work something up.

  320. If I'm there and I need something in my body and the power is there, I might as well receive it.

  321. I might as well go home well.

  322. Hallelujah.

  323. So it's inferred that there were other very ill people who were not healed.

  324. And notice what Jesus said.

  325. Verse 6.

  326. And he marveled because of their unbelief.

  327. And he went about the village's teaching.

  328. I've heard people say he went about teaching so to build their faith.

  329. I don't doubt that.

  330. The Bible doesn't tell us that implicitly, but I don't doubt that at all.

  331. I believe that would be right.

  332. But here's the point that I want you to see.

  333. The reason many did not receive, according to the scripture, is unbelief.

  334. He marveled at their unbelief.

  335. And I find that interesting that it says he could not.

  336. So some receive, but there were some that could not receive.

  337. Right?

  338. Because he could not, they needed it, but he could not do it.

  339. Right?

  340. Now, now understand, that's why you got to be very careful how you use the phrase, God can do anything.

  341. Right here it says he can't.

  342. He could not.

  343. Now I know what people mean when they say that.

  344. Because God's all-powerful.

  345. If anybody can do it, God can.

  346. But even all-powerful God is limited to things he cannot do if I won't cooperate.

  347. I have to find that place of cooperation, that transaction point.

  348. I've used the illustration over and over again of buying somebody something.

  349. You can give them your credit card.

  350. You can give them the cash.

  351. You can give them whatever.

  352. If they don't want to go get the item and complete the transaction, all of your ability in your credit card, debit card, cash, whatever it is, you have given them your ability.

  353. You can be standing there with the cash in your pocket and say, I'll buy you whatever you want.

  354. If they won't complete the transaction, here's what they're going home with.

  355. Nothing.

  356. Nothing.

  357. Hallelujah.

  358. You know, I had to learn that in my life.

  359. Because, you know, I begin to be around people and they would say, Look, I want to do whatever for you.

  360. It could be something small, like I want to take you to dinner or whatever.

  361. And so they take you to dinner, and you're sitting there, and maybe you're in a restaurant.

  362. You know, you would have never gone to that kind of restaurant on your own.

  363. And you're sitting there and you're looking at the menus and you're thinking, dear God, a grilled cheese here is$25.

  364. You know, or what, or whatever it is.

  365. Yeah, I don't eat grilled cheese, but that that peanut butter or whatever, right?

  366. And you're thinking, oh my Lord, and and they're, you know, they're buying.

  367. But eventually you got to get to the point where you're comfortable and say, okay, they're offering.

  368. I'm just going to let them complete the transaction.

  369. Right?

  370. Jesse DePlanus one time took his daughter, his granddaughter to the Disney store.

  371. And uh they walked in, her name's Meredith, and they walked in and he said, uh, Meredith, whatever you want, I'll get it for you.

  372. She said, anything?

  373. He said anything.

  374. She said, anything.

  375. He said, the whole store if you want it.

  376. And she just looked at it and he called the manager over and said, How much uh uh inventory you got right here?

  377. Dollar amount.

  378. And she told him, and he said, Okay.

  379. He said, if my granddaughter wants it all, I'll pay for it.

  380. I'll buy all of it.

  381. And his granddaughter went off and and and came back with like six things.

  382. He said, Is that all you want?

  383. Six things?

  384. I told you I'd get you whatever you want.

  385. And she looked at him, she said, grandfather, that's so hard.

  386. Is it?

  387. How hard would it be just to go get whatever you wanted when you're not paying for it?

  388. He's paying for it.

  389. He's gonna, see, I'm gonna, he's gonna make the transaction.

  390. If I know God can do anything, what do I have to lose by wholeheartedly throwing my faith completely at what he said?

  391. If he can do anything, and he can, right?

  392. Those that believed he could received.

  393. These very sick, critically ill people, I believe, were healed.

  394. There were others that were not.

  395. Oh, hallelujah.

  396. You know, if you if you've raised children, and I know you have, most of you have.

  397. I I raised four, I'm working on the fifth one, and they were all different.

  398. They were all different.

  399. My oldest son, he never made a big deal out of anything.

  400. He rarely asked for anything.

  401. He was always, he was always satisfied with whatever he had.

  402. Right?

  403. I mean, you buy him something nice for Christmas, and he was fine with it, you know?

  404. Now, my middle daughter, she wanted everything.

  405. Everything.

  406. And she was constantly asking for things, just like Liliana.

  407. Constantly asking for things.

  408. I mean, you could say when we go in the store, listen, we're in a hurry, don't ask for anything.

  409. Five minutes, man, you'd get through the store, five minutes, no ask, and you're just thinking, boy, it's gonna be an easy trip.

  410. And then five, Dad, right?

  411. It's just, I'm gonna ask.

  412. Right?

  413. Our oldest daughter, she was a saver.

  414. She would save up and buy it for herself.

  415. Right?

  416. If you gave it to her, she was very grateful, right?

  417. But the the point that I'm making is so people are different, and I understand that.

  418. But what we've all got to get to this point is this if the healing power's there, there's the offer.

  419. I'll heal you.

  420. What do I have to do?

  421. I just got to complete the transaction.

  422. I just got to complete the transaction.

  423. I say, I got to complete the transaction.

  424. I had a uh I have a good friend that he knows how to complete the transaction.

  425. He was ministering in our church in Kansas City, and I said, uh his name's Scott, Scott Thomas, and I said, Scott, I want to take you to this men's store and buy you a suit and and shirt and tie and things, all that you need to go with it.

  426. And uh he said, okay.

  427. And I we got there and I said, now you get whatever suit you want.

  428. You know, get whatever you want when we go in here.

  429. And uh, I mean, he would have anyway, but uh, you know, you you walk in and over here you got like the the 50% off and the 75% off, and then over here you got the full price.

  430. Well, he didn't even glance over there, he just went over here to the full price.

  431. When I think about it, how would that have made him feel?

  432. How would that have made me look if I'd have gone over and said, no, hang on, you're in the full price section.

  433. These over here, right?

  434. They're good suits.

  435. Now there's nothing wrong with getting a discounted suit.

  436. Don't you understand why I'm saying this?

  437. What did I tell him?

  438. Get whatever you want.

  439. Right?

  440. Well, I he just assumed it was whatever he wanted.

  441. And he got the suit, and I said, Now make sure you get a shirt, you know, good one.

  442. And he did.

  443. He went to the good aisle.

  444. Amen.

  445. But I've took people before and said, now get whatever you want.

  446. And they've intentionally looked at the discounted stuff and said to me, I don't want to cost you too much money.

  447. When did I tell you it was gonna cost me too much money?

  448. I said, get whatever you want.

  449. Right?

  450. Now the word of God taught me that, but my wife taught me that.

  451. Michelle had to help me break out of that mentality.

  452. And she, but thank goodness she did.

  453. Amen.

  454. We keep Amazon alive.

  455. Hallelujah.

  456. Yeah, I pulled up in front of my house and there's Amazon boxes, and just right here, I'm like, it isn't for me.

  457. I you know, hallelujah.

  458. But anyway, what's that got to do with healing?

  459. Nothing.

  460. But the point is, it's what do you want?

  461. Right?

  462. What do you want?

  463. And so there was a group of people here.

  464. Obviously, they wanted to be healed.

  465. Remember, desire is not enough.

  466. Right?

  467. You can you can go into a store and look at the clothes and look at whatever and desire, but you know, whatever how you're doing it, even in the natural, if if I want something bad enough, I can start putting back the funds for it.

  468. I can, I may not be able to have the money right now, but I can start putting back the funds for it.

  469. You may even feel like maybe you don't have enough faith to walk out of this today.

  470. But here's the thing: you're here making the deposit of faith today.

  471. You can make a deposit of faith tomorrow, you can build your faith to receive it all at once.

  472. And so there's a group of people here.

  473. Jesus said, he marveled at their unbelief.

  474. That word unbelief is faithlessness or a want of faith.

  475. Faithlessness or a want of faith.

  476. Now, I don't know in all the years that I've been in the ministry, period, and in the healing ministry, I can think maybe, maybe, maybe twice, but I think only once.

  477. Only once have I ever told anybody that their problem was that they didn't have faith.

  478. And I did tell that person that, because that was the problem.

  479. Here's what I'm trying to explain to you the reason I'm saying that is this is what unbelief means.

  480. That doesn't mean that's your problem.

  481. But understand that it can be a problem.

  482. Faithlessness or a want of faith.

  483. But also connected to that word unbelief is disobedience or weakness of faith.

  484. Disobedience or weakness of faith.

  485. Well, not believing in the one God sent is disobedience.

  486. And so that cancels out faith.

  487. That's why we teach on walking in love and walking in forgiveness and keeping our hearts right.

  488. Why?

  489. Because those things cancel out faith.

  490. That's disobedience.

  491. To not walk in love is disobedience.

  492. To walk in offense or be offended is disobedience.

  493. Because I'm told to walk in love and I'm told not to be offended.

  494. Hallelujah.

  495. So for many in this account, the healing power never encountered faith.

  496. It never encountered faith.

  497. For a few it did.

  498. But for many it did not.

  499. Hallelujah.

  500. I've learned over the years, I'm always checking up on my faith.

  501. Am I in a position to receive this?

  502. Hallelujah.

  503. Whatever it may be, I'm I'm looking at it.

  504. Because for many, the power never encountered faith.

  505. For a few, small number, their faith received the healing power.

  506. And their faith received their healing.

  507. So I want my job.

  508. Stay in faith.

  509. Stay in faith.

  510. Where healing any of your physical needs are concerned.

  511. You don't want to wait till you're sick to try to build your faith.

  512. You don't want to wait till you're behind the eight ball financially to try to believe God for finances.

  513. Right?

  514. You want to consistently be building your faith for those things.

  515. Because then if you even if you hit a place of deficit, you have the faith built up to bring it about.

  516. Hallelujah.

  517. So my job is to stay in faith.

  518. Now, knowing the right words and knowing the right things to say is not evidence of being in faith.

  519. That's just knowing the right things to say.

  520. Hallelujah.

  521. Do you see that?

  522. You know, if uh if you were to look at like a physics equation, you could memorize it.

  523. And you could appear very smart.

  524. You could appear to be a physicist.

  525. But if all I did was memorize it, that doesn't make me that.

  526. It just means I memorized, right?

  527. That's why I remember growing up going to like vacation Bible school and different things.

  528. And, you know, they always had a memory verse.

  529. Well, the memory verse was always tied to a competition.

  530. Right?

  531. We're gonna win the competition.

  532. Now I know the idea is well, if we get them to memorize it, then they'll have it.

  533. There's a difference between memorizing something here and having something in my heart.

  534. Right?

  535. He said, if the word's in my heart, it makes a difference.

  536. So so here's here's what I always seem like I always touch on, but it's important.

  537. There are things that I can memorize.

  538. And and they're in my head.

  539. I have a lot of knowledge.

  540. But it's at some point it has to get out of my head and into my heart.

  541. Because that's where the change occurs.

  542. Right?

  543. And so you you can hear me make a statement about uh a physicist statement, physiology, and think, boy, that guy, whoo, he knows a lot.

  544. No, I know that one statement.

  545. When I was teaching the leaders here, I said, there's a difference between knowing leadership quotes and being a leader.

  546. There are people that know leadership quotes, but they don't know how to lead.

  547. Because they know it here, but they don't know it here.

  548. And when the pressure's on, when the challenges arise, it's very evident that all their leadership knowledge was here.

  549. None of it was here.

  550. When the physical challenge comes to people, it will be very evident where their faith is.

  551. Is it mental ascent in their mind, or is it heart faith born of the Word of God?

  552. It'll be evident.

  553. This is important.

  554. And so that's the challenge with very often people will be taught to confess and have healing confessions.

  555. I am bigger on confessing the word about healing than just healing statements.

  556. Because there are people that they just have statements.

  557. And there's no word in it.

  558. I mean, it's it's based on the word.

  559. But for instance, if I go to the word in the book of Psalms that says, I will not die, but I will live and declare the works of the Lord.

  560. That's a direct quote from the Word of God.

  561. That's a direct quote.

  562. Faith comes by hearing the word.

  563. Right?

  564. Now I can add to that, and because the word of God says this, I will not die, I will live.

  565. I'll live out my full days on the earth.

  566. I say that every day.

  567. But here's the point that I'm making: it's born of the word of God.

  568. It's not just something I memorized.

  569. Right?

  570. Think about this statement.

  571. How many times have you heard this?

  572. I'm not moved by what I see, I'm not moved by what I feel, I'm only moved by what I believe and I believe the word of God.

  573. We've heard that millions of times.

  574. I've heard it millions of times.

  575. Had to be millions, if not thousands.

  576. Right?

  577. But here's the point.

  578. Why did Wigglesworth, Smith Wigglesworth, make that statement?

  579. Because he had so much word in him that he was only moved by the word.

  580. That wasn't just a statement.

  581. That was not just something he memorized.

  582. Hallelujah.

  583. And so I have to always, my job is to stay in faith.

  584. So I'm in faith now about healing.

  585. Right?

  586. See, you don't, you don't, the reason to build your faith about healing is not just to get healed, it's to stay healed.

  587. Because there's getting healed and there's staying healed.

  588. There's coming out of debt and there's staying out of debt.

  589. And there's faith for all of it.

  590. Amen.

  591. There's faith to do things debt free all at once, and then there's faith.

  592. To keep doing it that way.

  593. Hallelujah.

  594. There's faith to get healed from a headache, and there's faith to keep headaches away.

  595. Hallelujah.

  596. I've got to build my faith.

  597. Luke chapter 6.

    Luke 6 chapter mention

  598. And verse 17.

  599. And we'll read through verse 19.

  600. And he came down with them and stood in the plain in the company of his disciples and a great multitude of people out of all Judea and Jerusalem and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases, and they that were vexed with unclean spirits, and they were healed.

  601. And the whole multitude sought to touch him, for there went virtue out of him, and he healed them all.

  602. He healed them all.

  603. One translation says, Many of them wanted to be healed.

  604. Among them were some who were demon-possessed.

  605. They too wanted Jesus to heal them, and he did.

  606. Many believed if they could just touch him, they would be healed, and they were.

  607. In fact, before the day was over, there was not a sick person in the whole crowd.

  608. Wow.

  609. And notice it says multitudes.

  610. And a great multitude of people.

  611. Out of Judea and Jerusalem, Jews, Israelites, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, Gentiles.

  612. People that are not Jewish.

  613. And notice it's a multitude of this combined group.

  614. And they came for two reasons: to hear and to be healed.

  615. To hear and to be healed.

  616. And demon-possessed people were among them, and it says they were healed.

  617. The whole multitude sought to touch him, for there went virtue, power out of him.

  618. What kind of power?

  619. Healing power.

  620. Healing power.

  621. But notice what it says.

  622. It says many believed if they could just touch him, they would be healed.

  623. So again, in this multitude of people, we see the healing power, obviously, at work, because all of them were healed.

  624. But now, see, if if I read this through the wrong mindset, then I will look where we were earlier when he was in his hometown and think, but there were people there that didn't get healed, and the healing power was there.

  625. What's the difference?

  626. The difference is some did not believe.

  627. In this instance, everybody believed.

  628. And here's the thing: it says he healed them all.

  629. He healed them all.

  630. Now that that's important to me.

  631. Because could it be in the previous verse that the word that Jesus spoke, they didn't listen, they didn't take it in, faith never showed up.

  632. And here it says they came to hear and to be healed.

  633. So they heard him first.

  634. Well, what was he preaching?

  635. Well, if what he said and what Peter said is right, and it is, he was preaching how God anointed me with the Holy Ghost and with power to heal the sick and all that are oppressed of the devil.

  636. And what do we see in these verses?

  637. We see the sick healed and we see the oppressed of the devil set free.

  638. Why?

  639. Because they believed he could do that.

  640. So immediately faith is the transaction point.

  641. And notice they believed if I touch him, I'll be healed because there's power flowing out of him.

  642. And healed them all.

  643. So in Nazareth, well, first of all, a multitude, innumerable amount, a throng, a great number, large number, all healed.

  644. Isn't it interesting?

  645. In Nazareth, a small number was healed, and there was a large number that needed to be healed.

  646. And here there's a large number that needed to be healed, and a large number got healed.

  647. Because faith is the transaction point.

  648. See, I've learned something.

  649. If you need healing in your body and you watch people all around you getting healed, I've had people say, I'm so disappointed.

  650. Everybody, three or four other people got healed and I didn't get healed.

  651. Don't be disappointed.

  652. It shows you it's working.

  653. If the person beside you gets healed and every symptom leaves their body and you don't feel any different in your body, man, that's evidence to you.

  654. You sat right by the evidence that God's gonna do it for you.

  655. Why?

  656. Because he's not a respecter of persons.

  657. He said, if I've done it for them, I'll do it for you.

  658. Hallelujah.

  659. Amen.

  660. See, I learned this.

  661. If I looked over here at uh Brother Ron over here, and let's say, now this is gonna sound funny, but let's say he just, you know, he just took a run and and and leaped over that chair and climbed the wall.

  662. Right?

  663. Possible.

  664. Well, here's the thing.

  665. I'm looking at that.

  666. Now, how did he do that?

  667. Because if I know how he did it, I can do it.

  668. If I know how he did it, I can do it.

  669. If they receive their healing, I can receive my healing.

  670. If they walked out well, I can walk out well.

  671. Right?

  672. Because listen, if I don't, if I can't, I've caught God in a lie.

  673. Because he said I'm no respecter of person.

  674. Right?

  675. Have I said it, or shall I not do it?

  676. What he has done for others, he'll do for me.

  677. If he won't, I've caught him in a fib.

  678. And if and if he'll lie, I can't depend on anything he says.

  679. I know that's elementary, but notice this whole multitude.

  680. What's the difference?

  681. One group had faith that met the power and received it.

  682. One group did not.

  683. Hallelujah.

  684. One group did not.

  685. So focused faith receives the power.

  686. Focused faith receives the power.

  687. Hallelujah.

  688. All those years ago when I was I was believing God for my own healing in the middle of that fight.

  689. It it I knew, I knew from now obviously I had the word on the inside of me, but I knew something.

  690. I I don't need to just sit here every morning and go over confessions because I'm always confessing.

  691. I'm I'm that that's part of my life.

  692. I need to go, and I and I and I went to the four gospels and I found all of these verses on He Healed Them All.

  693. He healed them all.

  694. He healed them all.

  695. Didn't matter what it was, he healed them all.

  696. In some cases, it tells you what it was: the the blind, the the maim, the halt, uh uh uh the paralyzed, and it says he healed them all.

  697. It says he healed all manner of diseases and sicknesses and diseases among the people.

  698. All manner.

  699. And so what I knew was it didn't matter what's causing this, he'll heal me.

  700. See, it doesn't matter.

  701. See, that's that's where you got to be careful.

  702. Because why?

  703. I can get focused on the problem, I can get focused on what I'm dealing with.

  704. I've had people say, well, you know, this is what I'm dealing with, and you know, there's no cure.

  705. Well, there doesn't have to be a cure for God to heal you.

  706. Right?

  707. You don't even have to know what it is.

  708. They don't even have to know what it is.

  709. I'm dealing with people right now, they're dealing with what they call idiopathic issues.

  710. Right?

  711. Well, you can get the idiopathic.

  712. You know, if you call somebody an idiot, you don't do that.

  713. I don't suggest you do that.

  714. But you know, what you're saying basically is you don't know anything.

  715. So when they say it's idiopathic, we don't know.

  716. We can tell you what's happening, but we don't know why it's happening.

  717. Well, God doesn't need them to know to heal you.

  718. Right?

  719. So, but what if I'm focused on that?

  720. Well, the doctors don't know, and the doctors can't figure out, and the doctors don't this, and the doctors don't that.

  721. That'll hinder my faith.

  722. Right?

  723. Amen.

  724. When Brother Hagin was sick on his deathbed, and the doctor came to him and said, There's not one chance in a million of you living.

  725. I've heard some pretty slim chances before, but not one in a million.

  726. Right?

  727. That's the first thing he had to overcome.

  728. That's the first thing he had to overcome.

  729. Why?

  730. Because what if that's your focus?

  731. There's not one chance in a million for me being healed.

  732. And the doctor said, we've discussed your cases at medical conventions, and nobody that's ever been diagnosed with what you have, not one record of them living exists.

  733. Nobody's lived.

  734. Wow.

  735. Right?

  736. Well, what did he have to do?

  737. He's taught so many of us faith.

  738. What did he have to do?

  739. Who'd he learn faith from?

  740. The word of God, from Jesus.

  741. But what did he have to do?

  742. He had to not focus on the problem and focus on the word.

  743. I'm sure in this multitude that there were people that nobody knew what was wrong with them.

  744. I'm sure there are people in here, even in this day, that they've said there's nothing medical science can do for you, even as minimal as it was.

  745. People were given up, I know they were given up.

  746. The woman with the issue of blood was given up.

  747. They told her, you're not going to get any better.

  748. She spent all she had and was nothing better.

  749. Every doctor she went to for 12 years could not help her.

  750. But yet faith accessed the power of God, and in one moment of time she was healed.

  751. What no doctor could do for 12 years, the power of God did in one moment.

  752. Hallelujah.

  753. So whatever you're dealing with can clear up before you get home, or it can clear up in a month, or it can clear up in six months, but here's where faith's at, but it's gonna clear up.

  754. That's the bottom line.

  755. Amen.

  756. Hallelujah.

  757. So you don't focus on the problem.

  758. Focus on the power.

  759. Right?

  760. This is the focus.

  761. The power of God is present to heal.

  762. When is the power of God present?

  763. Every day.

  764. All the time, 24 hours a day.

  765. Not just when you're in church.

  766. I'm a believer, the power of God's present.

  767. I'm a believer, the power of God's available.

  768. Hallelujah.

  769. And so percentages, chances, hallelujah.

  770. I'm not going to take the time to get into all of them, but I've told you, people we've prayed for, 0% chance to live, but they're alive today.

  771. And not just alive, thriving.

  772. Well, well, how'd that happen?

  773. Faith met the power of God.

  774. And again, here's what I want you to understand.

  775. If you're walking something out, that doesn't mean you don't have faith.

  776. See, you can't quantify faith just saying that faith always receives instantaneously.

  777. Faith is received instantaneously, but there's no evidence from the word or anywhere else that every healing is instantaneous.

  778. But faith's working.

  779. I say faith's working.

  780. If you encounter something in six months, you won't have the same time frame, probably, that you've had with this.

  781. Because you've been building your faith.

  782. Oh, hallelujah.

  783. So focused faith receives the power.

  784. Hallelujah.

  785. And so if I fail to focus on the problem, but focus on the power to heal the problem.

  786. Focus on the power to heal the problem.

  787. Hallelujah.

  788. And notice it says that power, that virtue, went out of him and healed them all.

  789. It healed them all.

  790. And so when I read something like that, I will very often say, I am all.

  791. I'm one of the all.

  792. And if the power of God went out and healed them all, I'm one of the all.

  793. And so the power of God's healing me in the name of Jesus.

  794. Hallelujah.

  795. Why don't you say that out loud?

  796. I am part of the all.

  797. I receive the healing power of God flowing through my body in the name of Jesus.

  798. Effecting a cure, removing sickness and disease, making me well and whole.

  799. In the name of Jesus.

  800. Hallelujah.

  801. Father, in the name of Jesus.

  802. Lord, I just, Father, I thank you for the healing power of God.

  803. I just, Father, I lay hands on this cloth today, and I thank you for the healing power, the healing anointing of God flowing into this garment in the name of Jesus.

  804. I thank you, Father, for the healing power of God being transmitted.

  805. I thank you for it being transported.

  806. And that, Father, I thank you that when this is placed upon the afflicted, that we shall see a change and a disruption in the plan of the enemy.

  807. In the name of Jesus.

  808. And Father, I thank you for it in the name of Jesus.

  809. Hallelujah.

  810. Hallelujah.

  811. Now when you take that home to your husband.

  812. Hallelujah.

  813. I'm believing with you.

  814. Hallelujah.

  815. Glory be to God.

  816. Thank you, Jesus.

  817. Well, the Lord's good to us.

  818. The Lord's good to us.

  819. Hallelujah.

  820. Glory be to God.

  821. You know, if if and and as I'm we're closing, I have one minute.

  822. I think I can say this in a minute.

  823. I'm big on saying this.

  824. You know, don't don't don't ever give up.

  825. Because because that desire.

  826. Desire is fuel to my faith.

  827. Right?

  828. Desire is fuel to my faith.

  829. And and it's it's it's when it's when I I hate to use this this phrase, but it's when I give up that I quit desiring.

  830. Right?

  831. I quit desiring.

  832. Nobody ever stops progressing in life if they maintain their desire.

  833. Right?

  834. A lot of the good things that God does in our lives, it's because we desire it.

  835. Right?

  836. Even in the natural, people understand that.

  837. If you desire something strong enough and long enough, you'll see it.

  838. Right?

  839. Because, especially if you're born again, what you start desiring, your spirit starts reaching out and working to bring to you.

  840. Right?

  841. This is why this is so important.

  842. I feel let of the Lord to say this.

  843. This is why this is so important.

  844. You know, when people are constantly saying, I don't know, I don't understand, I can't figure out, I don't know why I'm still dealing with this.

  845. Well, here's the thing: there's two things that are happening.

  846. Your spirit is not reaching out to get the wisdom of God because you are the establishing witness, and you're saying, I don't know.

  847. And so it's not reaching out to get the wisdom of God.

  848. What's happening is in the spirit realm, I'm actually producing a fog that stops me from seeing.

  849. Because my spirit is designed to go get what I desire.

  850. Jesus said, Therefore, whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them.

  851. Well, whatever you desire.

  852. And so this is so important.

  853. And so, if I get a bad report in my health, immediately I desire healing.

  854. I thank you for healing my body.

  855. Right?

  856. I'm the healed of the Lord.

  857. How are you doing, brother?

  858. Healed and strong in the name of Jesus.

  859. How's that report?

  860. It's getting better every day.

  861. What am I doing?

  862. I'm opening up the realm of the spirit for my spirit to help me get better.

  863. Right?

  864. This is so important.

  865. Years ago, years, decades ago, now 30 years ago, over 30 years ago, near probably 32 years ago, when I heard Charles Capps minister, and he was ministering on a tape series that we had bought from him, on uh calling things that be not as though they were.

  866. You've heard me tell this before, but he said, You got a guy, and he said, every day he's because he's talking about angels being at help and your spirit helping you.

  867. And he said, You got a guy that walks by his hot water heater in the basement every day, and he's he's saying, Man, you know, I'd hate for that thing to blow up.

  868. If it blew up, it'd burn the house down.

  869. Right?

  870. That thing, boy, it could I it could blow up and burn the house down.

  871. He said, and then one day that that thing blows up, burns the house down.

  872. And people say, What'd the angels do?

  873. And Brother Charles said, the angel stood there and said, Let her burn.

  874. Man, that impacted my spirit.

  875. Because here's what he said.

  876. All those weeks, months, years, he's been saying that thing's gonna malfunction, blow that, blow up, burn this house down.

  877. What are the angels designed to do?

  878. Minister to those who shall be heirs, minister for those that shall be heirs of salvation.

  879. What do they hearken to?

  880. The voice of his word.

  881. Right?

  882. So if I'm constantly saying the wrong thing, if I'm constantly saying I'm sick, I'm tired, I'm weak, I'm no better, nothing's changing, what's there for my spirit to go get?

  883. My words create my reality.

  884. My words create my reality.

  885. Right?

  886. So if I'm if I'm constantly in this healing environment, right?

  887. It's not it's not just putting on, you know, music.

  888. One of the things that that I did, I had that healing CD, and I would just lay on the floor in the mornings in the living room and hear that song over and over again.

  889. I see me as healed.

  890. I see me as healed.

  891. Now, I wasn't trying to work something up.

  892. I had to build an inner image.

  893. I had to build an inner image on the inside of me.

  894. Something my spirit could grab a hold of.

  895. Right?

  896. And as long as I saw myself as sick, then I'm reinforcing what I'm being told.

  897. How do you see yourself?

  898. The Bible says, listen, whatever you're believing for, maybe you're watching online, maybe here, you're believing for children.

  899. The Bible says that you are a fruitful vine.

  900. So you don't see yourself as not able to have children.

  901. You see yourself as a fruitful vine.

  902. Is that right?

  903. And so when people say, How are you doing?

  904. Fruitful.

  905. How's this going?

  906. Fruitful.

  907. Yeah, but they won't understand that.

  908. You're not saying it for them.

  909. You're saying it for you.

  910. See, it doesn't matter if you understand it or not.

  911. I'm saying it for me.

  912. I knew a man growing up, I was just a teenager.

  913. He was my pastor for a time.

  914. His name was Brother Page and Gerald Page.

  915. And every time you'd see him, he was a little short black guy.

  916. And every time you'd see him, you'd say, How are you doing, Pastor Page?

  917. Blessed, doing fine, thank the Lord.

  918. Right?

  919. And you know he was blessed and always doing fine.

  920. Hallelujah.

  921. Because now your spirit's got something to work with.

  922. Right?

  923. Whatever is wrong with you, God did not create you with that wrong.

  924. He is a perfectionist.

  925. And he knows how to fix whatever's wrong.

  926. Right?

  927. So what's happening?

  928. The healer is healing, the creator is created.

  929. Amen.

  930. The healer is healing, and the creator is creating.

  931. I had an issue one time where I was bleeding with the family for some things.

  932. And that's what the Lord gave me.

  933. He said, You talk to them, you tell them, the creator is creating.

  934. Amen.

  935. And you know he did?

  936. It didn't turn out the way we wanted it.

  937. We just didn't have enough time.

  938. We got on it too late.

  939. But there were things that were created that they couldn't find before we started declaring that.

  940. The creator is creating.

  941. Well, I need this in my blood seam.

  942. The creator is creating it.

  943. I need more red blood cells.

  944. I need less white cells or whatever it may be.

  945. The creator's creating what you need.

  946. The creator is plucking up and removing what you don't need.

  947. Hallelujah.

  948. That's how you have to talk.

  949. Right?

  950. Because that gives your spirit something to work with.

  951. Your spiritual declaration can affect what your physician is able to know and understand.

  952. If I'm constantly saying they don't know, they don't understand, they don't comprehend, if I'm constantly saying that, I'm I'm blinding them to what they might find.

  953. But if I'm always saying, if I'm always saying the creator is creating, the healer is healing, if I'm speaking good words over my physician, they're finding a way to fix this.

  954. They're finding a way to help me in the name of Jesus.

  955. They don't have to be a believer.

  956. You know, a lot of times it's easier for the spirit to influence non-believers than it is for people that have a belief system already set in place.

  957. There are people that come to my church, and not you, I'm saying other people, that come to my church and they need healing, and they have some religious belief system that they have developed, that they got to jump through a number of hoops and knock some cans over before God will do something for them.

  958. And they come sick and leave sick because they don't understand that faith, if faith is of the heart, faith is a gift that God has given you, and he wants everybody healed.

  959. And he didn't say, jump through a hoop, knock a can over, jump over this.

  960. He said, Look, do you believe?

  961. I'll heal you.

  962. That's it.

  963. That's it.

  964. I don't let that religion influence what I'm saying.

  965. And so the healer is healing, and the creator is creating.

  966. Let me tell you this before we go.

  967. I've told you the story about my usher in Kansas.

  968. No cartilage in his knee.

  969. None.

  970. No cartilage.

  971. Having to go ever how long?

  972. I don't know how long, how often they do it.

  973. Cortisol shots in cortisol in his knee.

  974. And thank God that they had the shot to help him out.

  975. Right?

  976. But here's the thing.

  977. The doctor said, you'll be on this till we replace that knee.

  978. Because your body can't regrow cartilage.

  979. Hmm.

  980. Says who?

  981. Why can't it?

  982. If you were created with it, why can't you regrow it?

  983. The creator is creating.

  984. That Sunday morning, he's standing in the back of the sanctuary, and the power of God, what was moving?

  985. The power of God was moving, and he started shouting in the back of the church.

  986. You got to understand, I've I've this guy got saved at a Bible study I was doing in the jail.

  987. So he got saved out of jail.

  988. But here's the thing: he's always been excited about the things of God.

  989. But he's just a good old white redneck boy.

  990. You know, rednecks don't dance good.

  991. They can stomp, but they don't dance good, right?

  992. Man, he started dancing all over if that's what he called it anyway, dancing.

  993. And the power of God hit him, and he ran around the church and ran up here on the platform.

  994. And I saw him, he jumped off the platform.

  995. I thought, pretty, pretty spry.

  996. And he came up after church and said, I got a testimony.

  997. And he said, I don't know what happened.

  998. He said, but in my knees, he said, it felt like somebody was popping rubber bands in my knees.

  999. And he said, number one, the pain's gone.

  1000. Praise God.

1001. Now, now, you know, his question was, should I go back to the doctor?

1002. Well, because you're feeling better, it doesn't mean you don't need to go back to the doctor.

  1003. So he went.

1004. Got his knee up there on a on a stool, leg up on a stool, they're going to come give a shot.

1005. And the nurse said, Well, we got to do a what's an x-ray first, I guess, to see what's going on here, see how it is, because I guess that cortisol or whatever will start wearing away the joint, is what I'm told.

  1006. I don't know.

1007. But anyway, the point is that so they're x-raying it.

1008. She came back in and he said, All right, I'm ready.

1009. She said, No, no, hang on.

  1010. Wait, wait.

1011. We're not gonna do that.

  1012. He said, Well, why?

1013. She said, I've got to show you something.

1014. She puts the original x-ray up, just bone on bone.

1015. She says, But here's today.

  1016. She puts it up.

1017. That joint is full of white substance.

1018. She said, I don't know how this is possible, but that's all cartilage.

1019. They told him, your body cannot regrow cartilage.

1020. But yet there's an X-ray that says it did.

  1021. The creator is creating.

1022. Now, if that's what you need, that's not just something he did for Steve Pitnick.

  1023. That's what he'll do for you.

1024. But the creator is creating.

1025. And just in childlike faith, you just receive that.

1026. If I'm praying with Liliana at night and I say, we're gonna go in a week to this place, here's what I'll hear.

  1027. I'm so excited.

1028. Nah, I'll believe it when I see it.

  1029. Right?

1030. And she's a planner, she'll be up the next day, and she'll have a calendar printed out, and she'll have where we're going, what we're doing.

1031. And I'm sitting there thinking, how in the world?

  1032. I'm almost 60 years old.

1033. How are you in charge?

  1034. She just takes charge.

  1035. But here's my point.

  1036. I'm so excited.

1037. I remember reading to her, we have a set of books, and there's one book.

1038. It's called God's Great Big Forever Party.

1039. It's talking about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

1040. Talk about the rapture of the church.

1041. And so from the time she's two or three years old, I'm talking to her about this.

1042. And I remember one day, I said, you know, the day's coming when the rapture's gonna come.

1043. Jesus is gonna return, and and and we're gonna go to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

1044. I remember she was like four years old in her bed, and she went, I can't wait.

  1045. I just can't wait.

  1046. Right?

1047. And well, she'll still talk about that today.

1048. She was talking about that to me the other day.

1049. She said, you know, when the rapture comes, and she was telling me all that was gonna happen.

1050. Here's my point that I'm trying to say.

  1051. That's how you receive.

1052. You need a certain thing in your body.

  1053. I'm so happy I've received it.

  1054. I'm so excited.

  1055. Right?

1056. I'm so excited I'm not gonna take those shots no more.

1057. I'm so excited I'm not gonna have to have this anymore.

  1058. Hallelujah.

  1059. Hallelujah.

1060. Well, we'll be here tomorrow night ministering the word of God.
