Power Changes Everything | Jay Greiner

The Holy Spirit is here, and there's power available in the house of the Lord.

That's what we're preaching about tonight.

Amen.

And so uh let's just hold up our Bible, make our confession.

It goes all the way back to Brother John, Pastor John Osteen at Lakewood Church Days.

But let's hold up the our Bibles and make Jesus glad and the devil mad.

Let's say this together.

Say, Heavenly Father, I'm grateful for Wednesday nights.

I'm grateful for your word that's being engrafted into my heart.

I'm paying attention.

You have all of my attention, Lord, and I can follow your voice.

Holy Spirit, I can follow your leading.

And I'm led by you.

And I'm guided by you.

And I'm directed by you into good things.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Amen.

So power changes everything.

I think about this year is the year of new things.

And we have so many new things happening in our lives and happening as a church.

I just I think of two days ago, uh the Cyprus Republicans had an event in this very building where hundreds of people gathered to see Ken Paxton and Ted Cruz right here on this stage, right where I'm standing.

You know, Ted Cruz stood and and uh and uh Ken Paxton.

But Ted Cruz, uh, he didn't just come in to do some political event.

He walked in the room, he stood on this stage, and as he began to talk, he went completely off the script and he began to tell his father's testimony.

And that turned into him telling his testimony, and that turned into the gospel being preached right here by Ted Cruz on our stage in front of all these hundreds of people and and over the internet onto live stream and and uh and all the glory goes to God.

So that's that's us operating in a new level of influence and power in this region, in this state, in this country, amen, and in the whole world.

And so uh the uh the violent take it by force, and I'm telling you, we're stepping into the new things that God has called this church to occupy and possess, amen, in the last days, and it's fruitful ground, amen.

Amen.

So I just wanted you to turn with me to Acts chapter three, where we're gonna continue to look into the word of God and to uh to to receive an impartation of more power, right?

And I'm gonna be uh reading out of the New Living translations for the most part.

I do have my uh New King James Bible, Bible Bible, but my notes are in the New Living, and I just thought I would start with that, and we might go back and forth.

But uh three uh Acts chapter three, verse one, it says, Peter and John went to the temple one afternoon to take part in the three o'clock uh prayer service.

And so um, number one, I want you to see.

I don't know if I'll just do one number one, number two, number three points, but right off the bat, we notice that the first characteristic of Peter and John were that they were men of prayer.

They were men of prayer.

This was a habit for them.

Um and so in the previous chapter, they had received the the Holy Spirit uh and uh and the the gift of speaking in tongues, so there was evidence that they were filled with the Holy Spirit by the evidence of speaking in tongues, and it changed everything.

And this is the evidence that they had uh by by what happened here at the gate beautiful.

And it says in verse 2, as they approached the temple, a man lame from birth was carried in each day.

He was put beside the temple gate, the one called the beautiful gate, so he could beg from the people going into the temple.

And so um, so he was forty years old.

It tells us that in the next chapter.

He was forty years old of age, and so he was lame from birth, he could not walk, and so it never says that he was ever brought inside the temple, but he was just laid at the gate outside of the temple.

And so, verse 3, when he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.

And so that word saw, even though we're in the New Living translation in the Greek, uh that means to just look with the eyes, and it means on the outside.

So, so uh the the lame man was looking to Peter and John for something that they had on the outside, right?

And so there's many different see and saw and words here that I want to define because they matter, uh, the meaning of them in the Greek.

And so in verse 4 it says, Peter and John looked at him intently.

The word looked, that that word looked means to look into anything intently.

And Peter said, look at us.

So another look, but that's another Greek word.

That is not the same Greek word, and that Greek word means to behold, in other words, to experience spiritually, to have the power of understanding.

He wanted, Peter wanted uh the lame man to look on the inside of him, because what's on the outside of him doesn't matter.

He wasn't about to give them something coming from the outside.

In other words, he wasn't gonna give them money, he was gonna give him power coming from the inside, right?

And so that's a different word.

In English, we just see see the word look three or four times here, and we think it means the same thing, but in the Greek it's it's it's separated out.

And I just wanted you to see that the power of that.

There's power in words, amen.

And it means to look on the inside, the power of to understanding and to behold.

You know, look ye here now is the way my dad says that that his dad used to would say that, to behold.

The lame man, verse 5, looked at them eagerly, but that word look is just back to the outside.

He really he he looked eagerly, but he he was still expecting something from the outside.

He was expecting money.

And that word look and is yet another different word, and it means to give your attention to.

But again, he was only, he wasn't, he he still wasn't beholding them the way Peter had asked them to do.

And in verse 6, but Peter said, Silver and gold have I none.

I don't have any silver and gold for you.

In other words, right now on me.

And people people like to say, oh, the disciples, the the early church, they were poor, they didn't have anything.

No, and if if you go all the way ahead, in 420 um uh uh Acts 4 uh 34 it says, Nor was there anyone among them who lacked.

There was no lack in the early church, just one chapter later, literally one chapter later.

So that's not true.

He wasn't saying that he had no silver and gold, he just wasn't carrying silver and gold.

In other words, silver and gold wasn't what this man needed.

But instead, but I'll give you what I have in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk.

So, what did he have?

He had power, he had power of the Holy Spirit that he received in Acts chapter 2, but he had the healing power that comes through using the name of Jesus, right?

And then Peter, okay, what what happened after that?

Did he just immediately jump up on his own and start running?

No.

Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up, and as he did, the man's feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened.

The King James Version says, immediately, everybody say immediately.

Immediately his feet and his ankle bones were strengthened, and verse 8, he jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk.

And then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the temple with them.

And verse 9, all the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.

So I want you to notice that Peter was caring with the intent to distribute, right?

He could have been arrested right there for caring with the intent to distribute.

Only it wasn't drugs, right?

It was the power, healing power, virtuous power of Jesus was on the inside of him.

And this man was not asking for healing, he was asking for money.

And so, where was the faith?

The faith was on Peter's side, and he he extended his hand, and then he said, In the name of Jesus, rise and walk, and he did.

And so uh Jesus commanded us to do greater works, right?

He said, Greater works that shall you do because I go to the Father.

So words were enabled from Jesus, uh distributed authority, that we have the same power and the same authority that Jesus had.

And it's not, doesn't mean greater in magnitude.

In other words, we're not going to do greater miracles in magnitude, but but we're gonna do greater in number because Jesus' ministry was only He was one man, he was a son of man, and he was uh on the earth for three years.

And so all of us together, we can do more miracles.

We should be able to do more miracles through the power of Jesus.

Amen.

And so um I want you to see that you carry the same power that Jesus carried, the same power and authority that Peter walked in, you can walk in.

The same power and authority that Paul walked in, you can walk in.

That same power is on the inside of you.

And when you operate in this power, you bring people up, you pull people up to have the same perspective that you do.

What happened to this man?

He immediately went into the temple with them.

He was healed instantly, and then went in as a witness to all of the Jews.

And so this is significant.

We'll get we'll get there.

Uh let's read this in order.

Verse 10.

And when they realized, you know, the Jews, in other words, uh in the temple, um, when they realized he was the lame man, he was the lame beggar, they had seen so often at the beautiful gate, they were absolutely astonished.

In other words, they they could not deny the healing power of Jesus.

They could not deny it.

And so they all rushed out in amazement to Solomon's uh porch, basically, uh, where the man was holding tightly to Peter and John.

So I want you to see um the geo uh geography matters.

You know, sometimes when you're when you're reading the Bible, do you ever flip back to the to the back of your Bible and study the maps, and you can see everywhere that Jesus went, and then you can see like the ministry of Paul and everywhere Paul went.

So geography matters, and so this was Solomon's porch.

This was the same porch mentioned in John chapter 10.

I'm just gonna switch to the new living because that's what's in front of me.

And uh Luke chapter, I mean sorry, John chapter 10, starting in verse 23.

And Jesus walked to the temple, it was that same temple in Solomon's porch.

Then the Jews surrounded him.

This is Jesus, obviously, and the Jews said, How long do you keep us in doubt?

If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.

And so what does he do?

He tells them once again plainly who he is.

I told you, and you do not believe.

The works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me, but you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I said to you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any one snatch them out of my hand.

My father who has given them to me is greater than all.

Say, My Father is greater than all.

Let's say that again.

My father is greater than all.

Hallelujah.

And he takes care of us in grand style.

Amen.

No one is able to snatch them out of my father's hand.

I'm telling you, no devil in hell can snatch you out of God's hand.

You are right, I don't know what you came in here facing this evening, but you are right smack dab in the middle of God's hand.

He is holding you, and he is your father God, and he takes care of you in grand style, and he is greater than all.

Amen?

Verse 30, Jesus says, I and my father are one.

And because what Jesus did, you and your father are one.

Think about that for a second.

Because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you and God are one.

Amen?

You are the apple of his eye.

You are all that God thinks about.

He knows everything about you.

He has a very specific plan for you.

And this evening, by faith, you can step in to all that he has for you.

Amen?

And so, verse, so so geography matters, right?

So Jesus is saying all that while he's standing at the exact same spot that Peter is standing uh after, you know, after this, after Jesus had had gone to heaven.

And I want you to see, um, then the Jews took up stones again to stone him, and he answered them, basically.

And uh, and then um verse 39, if we skip all the way down, therefore they sought again to seize him, but Jesus escaped out of their hand.

And some I just believe when we get to heaven, we're gonna be able to see that in uh video form.

We'll go back and we'll see how Jesus escaped, because it's better, you know, than than Ethan Hunt and uh Mission Impossible, it's better than Jason Bourne and the Bourne series, right?

You know, and uh uh it's better than anything that any CIA agent has ever done.

Jesus, and he did it in the natural, he didn't just disappear like a ghost and walk through the wall.

I believe he was in his body and and and was able to um, you know, hide himself and escape, right?

And so um so I wanted you to see that he that it's very significant in the same temple, in the same Solomon's porch, Jesus preached on those same steps, and then he was rejected on those same steps.

And then here we flip over to Acts, and Peter is standing on those same steps with an undeniable miracle in the lame man who's now not lame, who's now walking and leaping and praising God.

And how many of you would have the boldness to stand in that very place where Jesus was rejected, where Jesus they tried to stone him, and he's not only, he's Peter's not trying to hide, he's not trying to shirk back.

No, he's standing as a bold witness and saying, look at this man.

It's because of the name of Jesus Christ that this man is walking and leaping and praising God.

I'm telling you, we have that same boldness if we'll step into it.

Amen.

And so it's it's it's time to stop talking about that boldness and walking in that boldness.

It's time to close the gap between what we know and what we do.

And so I was uh last week we were in some Mark Henkins meetings, and and uh I was, I don't know, I don't know why I have to share all these details, but we're in the middle of establishing another uh supernatural relationship.

And so I was speaking with this other minister there and another group of pastors, and he, I said this on Sunday, but he he equated it to uh uh Betty Crocker.

You know, if you're cooking in the kitchen with Betty Crocker and you're baking something and she says, hey, put another egg in, it'll be that much ooey gooey, it'll it'll be that much, you know, you're gonna the cake will be that much more moist.

Drop a drop uh an extra egg in there, and you turn around and you're you know, wait, that's not what the cookbook says.

What are we doing?

No, we can't do that.

No, you're cooking in the kitchen with God, and he's established a relationship with you already.

He wants to hang out with you, he wants to get to know you.

And it's not that he's changed, he does speak through his word.

The entrance of God's word give brings light, but some people, they're not uh focused on communicating with God, they're studying about God, and they never get past the point, they're like, okay, uh, my pastor said I should read all, you know, five Psalms and one proverb and two chapters in the old and two chapters in the new.

Check, check, check, check, check.

Wait a minute, I didn't get the two chapters in the new.

Oh, and then we feel guilty.

Oh, we should have, oh, we didn't make it, we didn't make it through all the Bible today, or oh, I didn't get to read my Bible today.

And God just wants you to hang out with him.

And yes, we need to read the word.

Obviously, we need to read the word, but when we read the word, we need to allow him, it's a conversation.

He's speaking to you, and you're able to speak back to him, and you're able to receive Rhema words from him, and these aren't just words on a page, the logos.

We're grateful for the logos.

We have the logos.

Uh uh, Selena was preaching that on Sunday night, but it's time to read the Rhema.

It's time to have the words jump out into our spirit, from our spirit.

He was revealing his word, he's revealing how he thinks.

Um, he's revealing what his thoughts are.

We can think his thoughts.

His ways are higher, uh and his thoughts are higher than ours, but but in the next verse it says that he reveals those to us spirit to spirit.

And so we can walk in that kind of boldness.

We can, that's the way we become bold, is with the relationship with God Himself through the sacrifice and the blood of Jesus.

So we have faith in that blood, faith that changes everything, because the blood gives us access into the holies of holies.

Amen?

And so it's within that boldness that we preach.

It's in that boldness that we speak, it's in that boldness that we're a witness to others.

Our whole lives tell a testimony and speak of the goodness of God.

And maybe you say, uh, Jay, I'm just not there.

Tonight I'm just not there.

This this circumstance that I'm going through, you just, you would not believe what the devil has put on my plate.

I, this is all I can handle.

I'm not.

No, what happened to Jesus is greater than anything that's ever happened to you.

Amen.

And when you identify with the victory of Jesus in your life, and when you realize that it's a good fight of faith, and that it's not a fight with man, but it's a fight of faith.

And you, but you gotta fight, but you gotta fight in the spiritual realm and not in the natural realm.

And that grit and determination is not just a part of your personality.

It's uh it's a godly character that comes from the inside, strengthening.

You you're you get inspired by the Holy Spirit, and you get motivated by your own spirit.

Spirit to spirit, that that uh inspiration and motivation happens, and you can leap over a wall.

Amen.

It call it it it it strengthens you, it encourages you.

Your encouragement, your boldness, your uh your whole personality is changed by the power that's invested in you on the inside by the power of the Holy Spirit.

And so, so many people, I know lots of smart people, and I'm grateful.

Like Ken Ken Paxton yesterday, or I'm sorry, Monday, when he spoke.

I'm sorry, I've I've heard him speak many times, but I just didn't realize that he's the sharpest knife in the drawer.

But he has the Holy Spirit as well.

And and when he's led by the Holy Spirit, man, he can do anything.

And so he doesn't just have a brain.

Thank God he has the IQ that's that's off the chart, but but he also has the Holy Spirit on the inside.

Amen.

And so we're led by the Holy Spirit.

And so I just wanted to keep keep reading tonight.

Um, that so so we see in John 10.23 that Jesus was almost stoned to death right there, like I said, on the same porch that Peter is now preaching on.

And I wanted to just continue reading his preaching.

Uh we got we got time, we got a little bit of time left, and so let's just read it.

Verse 12.

Peter saw his opportunity and he addressed the crowd of basically these are Jews that don't believe, that are full of unbelief.

They're they they do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, do they?

And so he says, People of Israel, he said, what is so surprising about this, and why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or our own godliness?

I like that that he used that word.

Word, like, like uh, like his, it was his holiness that that that uh had anything to do with this miracle.

Verse 13, for it is the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of all our ancestors.

So he related to them and pointed out that it's the same God.

Amen.

It's the same God that brought the Israelites out of the desert across the Red Sea.

Amen.

And so uh who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this.

This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate's decision to release Jesus, you rejected this holy, righteous one, and instead demanded the release of a murderer.

You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.

And so I'm telling you, you walk, like I said, you walk in the same boldness.

You have that same boldness on the inside of you.

I just want you to like picture yourself in this story of you preaching what Peter's preaching.

Amen.

Uh through faith, verse verse 16, through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed, and you know how crippled he was.

Faith in Jesus' name has healed him before your very eyes.

Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance, but God was fulfilling what all the prophets had foretold about the Messiah, that he must suffer these things.

Now repent of your sins and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped away.

Then times of refreshing, the King James Version says, refreshing, will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah, for he must remain in heaven until the time for the full the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.

Moses said, The Lord your God will raise up from you a prophet like me from among your own people.

Listen carefully to everything he tells you.

And then Moses said, Anyone who who will not listen to that prophet will be completely cut off from God's people.

And so basically he's telling them where they went wrong, right?

As the as their belief system was wrong.

The fact that they rejected the Messiah was wrong, and he pointed, he went all the way back to what Moses said, and so he's he's changing their doctrine right here.

And uh, spoiler alert, thousands of people were added to the church off of this message right here.

Amen.

Thousands of Jews came in to the kingdom of God.

And it says in verse 24, starting with Samuel, every prophet prophet spoke about what is happening today.

You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors.

For God said to Abraham, Through your descendants, all the families on earth will be blessed.

When God raised up his servant Jesus, he sent him first to your to you, people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.

And so this continues in Acts 4.

So we'll can we'll pick it up in verse 1.

While Peter and John were speaking to the people, they were confronted by the priest, the captain of the temple guard, and some of the Sadducees, and these leaders were very disturbed that Peter and John were teaching the people that through Jesus there is a resurrection of the dead.

So they arrested them, and since it was already evening, they put them in jail until morning.

And so again, uh Peter and John were thrown in jail, right?

For preaching the gospel.

And John was just a witness.

It doesn't have there's no record that John said anything, right?

But he still went to jail.

And in fact, what do you where do you think the guy that was healed?

Uh uh there is no biblical scholar that I could found, that that I could find, rather, that thought that that guy went to jail too.

But he shows up at court the next day.

So there is at least a chance.

I'm not preaching that, I'm just saying, uh, whether it matters to me, you know, what if I'm wrong, so what, right?

But but there is a chance in my mind that since it uses a pronoun of them, he might have been thrown in jail too.

And so uh they arrested them since it was already evening.

Uh verse 4.

But many of the people who heard their message believed it.

So the number of men who believed now totaled about 5,000.

And so again, the next day they they stood in front of the rulers, elders, and teachers that met in Jerusalem, and the high priest, and uh all the relatives of the high priest, and they brought into in the two disciples and demanded, by what power and in whose name have you done this?

And verse 8, then Peter, again, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, So, so how where was he getting his boldness?

It's right here.

He's filled with the Holy Spirit.

And so I'm telling you, that is a step that you do not want to skip in your life.

If you haven't been filled with the Holy Spirit, uh, I just encourage you uh to hunger and thirst for that.

There's uh there's an opportunity.

We can present an opportunity, although it looks looks like everybody here that I know is filled with the Holy Spirit, but uh uh because it's just us chickens tonight.

We're eagles, we're eagles, we're eagles.

I'm just kidding.

And uh then, so filled with the Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry, what did Rick, what'd you say, Brother Rick, back there?

Yard birds.

Yard birds, okay.

He's all he's the back row Christian.

He's holding down that back row tonight, brother Rick.

Hallelujah.

I'm just messing with you.

And he said, Peter said, Rulers and elders of your people, who are are you being questioned today because we've done a good deed for a crippled man?

Do you want to know how he was healed?

Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus, Christ of Nazareth, the man you crucified, but whom God raised from the dead.

For Jesus is the one referred to in the scripture where it says, the stone that the builders rejected has now become the chief cornerstone, the King James Version says.

There is salvation and no one else.

God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

And so again, my point is he's preaching the gospel with boldness.

And you're saying, hey, that only preachers can do that.

No, every believer has the ability to preach the gospel.

And I'm telling you, the gospel is not boring to anybody who understands it.

Brother Mark said that last week, Matt Mark Hankins.

He said, uh, the the gospel is not boring to anyone who understands it.

And so, and it's not e it's not hard to understand.

It takes a biblical theologian to mess it up where you can't understand it.

But the the gospel is so simple that Jesus came and he died for us, right?

And so I just encourage you to be men and women who witness to to uh testify of the things that you've witnessed.

And so you think about what you've witnessed in your own life.

Think how where God has brought you out of.

He has translated you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Think about what he's brought you out of.

And some of you you're thinking like 20 years ago he did this.

Maybe you were on drugs, maybe you were, but I'm telling you yesterday, I'm telling you two days ago, I'm telling you five days ago, he brought you out and into, you know, you you were facing a mess five days ago and he brought you out.

And um, I'm telling you, uh, he is a healer.

So um, Rosie, can I pick on you for a second?

I'm really picking on me, but I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna talk about.

So, Rossi, he came in, I don't know, an hour ago.

He's always here really early, and he helped set up and open the gates and all that, make sure that we're ready.

But he has a lot of pain in his tooth right now.

And my first reaction is, hey, I got a bottle of Tylenol on my desk.

And then I'm thinking, like, oh man, I got a great dentist, and I got a really great oral surgeon, and I man, I'm I'm I'm about to just set him up.

But no, what what does he need?

He he needs the power of God.

That's on the inside, and so uh uh that is the Lord stretching my faith and stretching, you know.

We are we Houston Healing, Houston's Healing Center, or are we just is that just a fun slogan we could put on a t-shirt or or put put on outside on the on the new sign at some point?

No, that is the truth, that's who we are, that people get healed and they get touched and they get changed by the same power that's available, and it's not just in our pastor, it's not just in our pastor's wife, and it's not just in an associate pastor, it's in every believer that's in this place that we have the power to lay hands on on hurting sick people and and mentally hurting people as well, and and they are healed and completely changed.

Amen.

And so um at this point, I'll just I'll kind of go down to to the the end of the story.

In fact, um let's see if I can so I'm just gonna switch back to the new King James version, Lee Lee, if you don't mind.

Um and so the the the leaders in front of this court uh they tried to to let them go by just telling them, hey, don't use that name, the name of Jesus that you're preaching, stop using that name.

And in verse um let's see, 16, what shall we do with these these men?

For indeed that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

So verse 17, but so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.

What name?

The name of Jesus.

Verse 18.

So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all, nor teach in the name of Jesus.

But what did Peter and John say?

They answered and said to them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge, for we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Let's say that together.

We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

You are a witness.

I am a witness, right?

Peter and John were witnesses.

And we have we're we're direct witnesses of of things that have happened in our own lives that are undeniably God, right?

Verse 21.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done.

For the man was over forty years old, on whom the miracle of healing had been performed.

And being let go, they went on their to their own companies and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said.

And so, uh, let's see, let's let's read just a little bit more.

So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said, Lord, you are God who made heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them, who by the mouth of your servant David has said, Why did the nations rage and the people plot vain things?

The king of the earth look uh took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against his Christ.

For truly, against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel Israel, were gathered together to do whatever your hand and your purpose determined before to be done.

Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word.

That's us, amen.

Grant unto us with all boldness that we may speak, right?

That we may witness by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

I'm telling you, everything that we do is in and through the name of Jesus.

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness, outspokenness, unreserved utterance, freedom of speech with frankness, with candor, with cheerful courage.

It's the opposite of timidity or fear.

Amen.

Hallelujah.

Thank you, Jesus.

Father, we just thank you that we, that you've invigorated us with boldness.

You've implanted and changed every single part of our character and our personality.

All of it has been overcome with boldness, boldness of you, boldness to speak your truth, boldness to speak your name and to use the name of Jesus, the name that's above every name, that the name that every knee shall bow and every tongue confesses the name of Jesus.

And Father, I just thank you that when we're bold to use your name, Lord, that we can walk into crowds and change the entire atmosphere by the power that's been invested in us.

Hallelujah.

We just thank you, Lord, that we have that power, that we walk in that boldness, that there's no more timidity, that there's no more fear of what can man do to us.

But Lord, we just thank you that we live in this power, that we live under uh uh taking this boldness and taking the authority that you've given us, that the authority that's been transferred to us, that we really truly are Jesus' hands, were his feet, and we refuse to be timid, we refuse to operate in fear for what can man do to us.

Hallelujah.

Thank you, Lord, for these things in Jesus' name.

In Jesus' name, we have boldness.

We are walking in the authority granted to us by Jesus Himself.

Amen.

By God Himself through Jesus, amen.

Um verse 33, two more verses.

And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

What is grace?

Grace is God's ability to do anything.

Great grace is on Glorious Way Church.

Great grace is on our pastor, John Griner.

Great grace is upon all of us individually in our lives.

Great grace, God's ability to do anything through us and to us and in us and flowing out of us to everything that we touch, everything that we uh control.

Uh I'm telling you, you you it like maybe you work in an office.

Maybe you're not in charge of much of anything.

Maybe you have like this little cubicle in the corner.

I'm telling you, you have more power invested in you than the whole than the CEO has if you would walk in it.

If you'd begin to pray and use your voice, and I'm telling you that you have great authority that's on the inside, all you have to do is use it and walk in it, and you'll see the hand of God move and and things begin to change for your favor, in your favor, because you've you have favor that's not fair.

You know, godly favor on your life is not fair.

And I'm telling you, why do you have favor?

It's to show the faithfulness of God, to be a testimony of God's goodness and of this great power.

Amen.

It's not just to have a Cadillac or dry or live in a really big house or or all those things that that, you know, but when we seek first the kingdom of God, all of those things are added automatically.

That's what people don't understand.

They about the prosperity gospel.

There's there's not a poverty gospel, there's only one gospel, and it is a prosperity gospel, but it's not just so that we're blessed, it's so that we're blessed to be a blessing.
