  37. here's all i'm asking get the word out on these conferences

  38. and help get connected to other people that might be interested

  39. in doing what you're doing sharing jesus online being uh digital missionaries digital discipleship

  40. evangelism being involved in creating a movement

  41. of discipleship in digital and virtual spaces we even got our

  42. our good friend on today right now mr pete

  43. is broadcasting that in virtual reality

  44. right now in virtual reality mr pete we got to talk about how you're going to do this

  45. do the conferences in um in big screen as well

  46. but the heart of this ladies and gentlemen is i need your help

  47. to get the word out check out that uh graphic share the website share dot missionary dot digital

  48. and help us organically get some people

  49. uh more people connected to these conferences we were honestly

  50. we were hoping for 2500 across all four conferences

  51. we still got time we still got some energy uh but organically we we need your help to do that

  52. please share dot missionary dot digital you know what thursday i'm gonna try to do a second stream

  53. walking into the other conference i did i did a stream where i really featured

  54. each of the conferences and the speakers and the breakouts and talked more about that

  55. i'm probably gonna do that i i tried to figure out time

  56. based on just chaos right now but we'll figure it out

  57. we're excited about the conferences and and what's happening uh with them

  58. cool so hey let's uh let's transition

  59. i i you know i need some sort of like transition bell alarm button something i can push that'd be like

  60. all right announcements over let's get back to the show

  61. um so all of a sudden i suddenly am picturing the two muppets in the balcony like the old guys

  62. yelling at me to shut up and get on with the thing i don't i what are their names

  63. is somebody the guy that looks like white beard and the guy that looks you know more like a shaved me

  64. um i i don't know we've got some people watching in uh in chat right now mr pete i see already uh and

  65. the soul i appreciate you being on here uh melanie flat cap uh there's tom anybody else that's watching

  66. hey thanks for coming on um feel free to throw comments during the show of course you're welcome to do that

  67. give that thumbs up or subscribe if you haven't uh but let's get into the show here talking uh with

  68. age excuse me uh with marion so hey marion how are you doing today i'm good how are you doing good i

  69. started to call you awkwardly adrian which you are not but that was my last meeting okay i am

  70. not uh i'm not mentally functioning like i should uh tom has called it out correctly it is staller and

  71. and waldorf waldorf the two muppets are you into muppets at all um marion no no i mean no i think i

  72. watched him when i was a kid a little bit but not really not not not not at all there there's actually

  73. it's it's a big deal in muppet culture where they they destroyed the disney removed the the

  74. muppet theater in in disney hollywood studios and now the muppets are moving to rock and roller coaster

  75. and and like the the muppet community is up in arms over the whole thing like it is it is a it is a

  76. travesty but you don't care and and probably the honestly the rest of like america doesn't care

  77. or the world doesn't care either but i'm just telling you like from from up from a muppet

  78. standpoint like kermit's kermit's feeling a little pain right now so i don't know where to go from

  79. here uh i just kind of painted myself in a corner hey thanks for coming on the show marion uh tell

  80. all right so your work for work for cv global uh excited to learn about that but tell us a little

  81. bit about yourself and and how you ended up working for a a global christian missions organization

  82. what's what's your story yeah well first thank you for having me on i love what you're doing here i

  83. love the community that you're creating um i did some youtube stalking so i'm trying to catch up a

  84. little bit so i think it's great um but yeah as as far as i go i've i've been a christian as long as i

  85. can remember i remember accepting jesus when i was really young like five or six on the edge of my bed

  86. with my mom right there praying with me um but i would say i really didn't surrender my life and start

  87. following jesus until my early 20s um and that was right around when i met my husband in the church

  88. um and then today we have four kids they all love god uh thank you jesus and they love his house and so

  89. um we are proud parents and um yeah as far as as far as i go my background is actually in tv news

  90. and so i graduated college broadcast journalism went straight into tv news here in albuquerque new mexico

  91. um and was executive producing our morning show when um i got a call from our pastor here in town

  92. and that's where my ministry full-time ministry journey started and so i was a creative director

  93. for a while um and then god called my husband and i to england where we spent a year and a half doing

  94. ministry in england and that is where i divinely encountered um cv and have been with them for

  95. about a year and a half now loving my job i love the people i get to work with the multicultural setting

  96. is amazing um so yeah that's kind of the short cliff's note version of my life that's beautiful

  97. yeah i i have my degree is in radio tv film as well um and so it's a fun fun fun memories right there i

  98. had a professor tell me once jeff you don't watch enough television you need to watch more

  99. um like it was it was i when another prof called it the uh what did he call it the uh cocktail party

  100. uh degree because you know lots of like ancillary things that really don't matter if you're at a

  101. cocktail party you could tell phenomenal stories about actors and actresses and television and tech

  102. but nobody really cares uh but at least you put it to purpose uh centered around uh broadcast journalism

  103. so so good for you what were you what were you doing in england um so well we went and

  104. we knew like for about 10 years before we moved that god was calling us over there we had no idea what

  105. that looked like and a lot of times that's what our journey looks like with god you you feel like

  106. he's pulling you and calling you to something but what is that so church planting missionaries we

  107. didn't know and so we ended up um going on staff at a church there um and just kind of helping through

  108. a period of growth and amazing church there in england and um i was on full-time staff at cv

  109. and so yeah we're there and then god called us back home so now we're back here in albuquerque new

  110. mexico um with family and friends that's beautiful i uh to be honest i'm kind of praying god's going to

  111. call me to england um that that is uh my daughter right now she's a she's a junior in uh high school

  112. and her number one college that she wants to go to is a school that's outside of london uh that's a

  113. really big engineering school and um i think if my daughter ends up going to college to london i feel

  114. like god's going to call us to to england as well and maybe live over there for for a couple years

  115. i don't know my my son's not too excited about that he's he's a couple years behind her but we'll

  116. we'll have to we'll have to discern god's calling in in the midst of that but and that's the thing i mean

  117. honestly you know even you may know working i'm sure you're working some level remotely because

  118. cv global is global but um it's the beauty of what we do we can do what we're doing pretty much

  119. anywhere and uh and and and rocket so well well cool tell us tell us a little bit uh about what

  120. you're what you do specifically with with cv global and maybe what is even christian vision let's back up

  121. with that what is christian vision and then what's your role with it that's great so yeah cv um started

  122. in 1988 um by lord robert edmiston and his wife tracy so he was on the house of lords in um in england

  123. and um it's really just centered if i could sum it up it's all about evangelism so we're reaching

  124. unreached people groups around the world we are equipping christians just everyday believers how do i

  125. share my faith how do i tell people about jesus so how do we partner with individuals in sharing their

  126. faith and equipping them to do that and then also equipping the church so we have resources if you go

  127. on our website cvglobal.co resources courses um training we also have testimony videos just of how

  128. god is uh encountering people around the world and so the the bullseye is just evangelism and how we

  129. outwork that is in a lot of different ways um but mainly it's just staying on the forefront in the

  130. front lines of innovation and how are we harnessing technology and being innovative in the ways that

  131. we're reaching people and i'm going to talk about some of that when we talk about digital day but

  132. um not getting left behind as the times change and um you know the digital times change and we get into

  133. ai and even quantum computing what does that look like for missions and uh we don't want to be left

  134. behind because our mission is the most important one and that's to share jesus with people who don't

  135. know him and so um how do we do that and staying on the front lines that's what we're we're all about

  136. yeah that's that's such a that's such a great calling right to we we've got this this massive

  137. opportunity we've we've got this incredible responsibility that that's given to us and

  138. yeah i mean just think over the past years uh covid accelerated so much and digital community

  139. explodes artificial intelligence is is all over the place like we're not even talking about

  140. quantum much yet but they're already carving out what that means in the grand scheme of things

  141. and and how how are we bringing the gospel influence into that space and utilizing these tools it was

  142. it was interesting i was actually talking with a a pastor the other day and sharing a little bit of

  143. of like what we're what we're doing sharing jesus online and really challenging people to be missional and

  144. digital virtual spaces and and you know he was funny he the pastor immediately reflected back into the um

  145. uh the the bearing of the talents and and it's like you know the the you're you're

  146. you're you're not hiding the talent you're using the talent and you're using the the the technology the

  147. skill set the influence the culture the tools that are available to do that and and i love it's one

  148. of the things that i love about cv global is you guys are really challenging opening up having those

  149. hard conversations using your influence to really lead out uh digitally and and virtually into that space and

  150. so that that that's that's beautiful what's your what's your specific role with um uh cv global

  151. yeah i am the head of communications

  152. la-di-da-da cool we're moving up in the world man i thought was uh thank you glad you're here for

  153. maybe i should have known that in advance walking in i i just i got an email i didn't read the

  154. signature but uh very very cool so and uh so you're you're what do you like what's your basic role uh

  155. what does that like look like for uh for you at cv global what's your nine to five look like

  156. it's a great question it's um so we're we're splitting it into internal and external communications

  157. mostly so it's we have more than you know just around 350 employees around the world so how are

  158. we communicating to them internally constantly having this this point of contact and a touch with

  159. our people so that culture is strong that we're all on the same page what are we doing where are we

  160. going um so that's very important and it and it just involves a lot of things so a lot of internal

  161. communication and then external would be um just obviously anything that is facing the public so

  162. our social media channels um youtube any sort of testimonies that are going out and then as well as

  163. our website so all of the articles and training and courses that we do partnering with our our platform

  164. team to make sure that our voice is consistent that our tone our brand and that we're representing

  165. ourselves um in a clear way out to the world i gotta i gotta imagine getting getting alignment

  166. and and quality control and those things are hard with a 350 employee global organization

  167. that's a hundred percent remote there there's a there's a headquarters in australia i'm trying

  168. to remember like specifically how the organization is structured yeah so we have we have um a variety

  169. of locations actually around the world like physical location so most of our employees would be um within

  170. a physical location okay and so our yeah our main um office is actually in soli hole in england so

  171. that's uh okay where i was when i was in england and then yeah in australia cape town um zambia

  172. miami dallas we're kind of just spread all over the place but yeah a variety of a variety of locations

  173. yeah it's it's funny i i know the people in cape town um at least some of the people in cape town

  174. i've talked to some people in australia i'm here i live in miami and and i've i've never had any

  175. connection with anybody in miami so if you know if you maybe maybe you can introduce me to somebody

  176. that that's working here locally would love love to connect up with with them i'm guessing miami

  177. does a lot of work in latin and south america yes yeah of course i mean that that's that's the

  178. that's the bread and butter here of of miami well cool and so you guys are at the cutting edge of

  179. technology and evangelism trying to connect the two together having the hard conversations always

  180. looking forward uh to what's ahead and and you're you're doing this digital day coming up in in in

  181. november talk talk to me a little bit about what this what this looks like yeah so digital day is a

  182. one day basically conference um where we bring in a lot of different speakers from a lot of different

  183. areas and backgrounds and it really it's a unique space because we're talking like church leaders

  184. and pastors technologists futurists mission practitioners bringing them all in the same room

  185. so it's a it's an in-person and also a streamed event which i'll i'll get into a little bit too

  186. um which is neat but it's it's this unique space where we're you know we have church conferences

  187. we have missions conferences we have um tech conferences but how do we blend the three bring

  188. them together in the same room um with the same mission to reach people for jesus and so that's

  189. that's like the big overall of digital day is this unique space across you know cross denominations

  190. we have all different kinds of denominations in the room um just looking at what are we dealing with

  191. in the digital world in technology what's coming up what's happening now and what is next what's on the

  192. horizon and how can we harness that to reach more people that's that's beautiful is the the format is

  193. more like keynote is is it like a ted talk short is is it dialogue like what what's actually happening

  194. during the day yeah i would say both and so it's a it's a good mixture of like keynote speakers um but

  195. you know shorter so maybe like shorter format and then we've got a few panels happening and then

  196. throughout the day you know because we're big on partnerships you probably know nick parker

  197. um in south africa so we're big on okay let's not you know just bring everybody in the room for the

  198. sake of bring everybody in the room but let's talk about these different communities that are around the

  199. world that you could be a part of and so we'll be highlighting different um communities throughout

  200. the day that people can actually practically jump into right there and be a part of so yeah keynote

  201. speakers panels we'll have some people actually zooming in live on the day of that couldn't be with us

  202. but we absolutely wanted to hear from them um so yeah it'll be it's dynamic it's fun lots of networking

  203. opportunities as well so um just a great thing to be a part of awesome so well let's go ahead and put

  204. this this slide up and so digital day 25 um this is in london as well as online and so it's it's a

  205. physical london event uh on november 6th um wow it's interesting like you know it's it's funny i'll go

  206. and ask the question um it's it's a a physical event talking about digital evangelism and digital

  207. culture anytime i talk about doing physical events somebody looks at me like jeff you're a digital guy

  208. why are you doing physical and so let me let me flip the script on you you're you're digital people

  209. why do a physical event so there's just something i think about coming face to face with people

  210. and so a big part of digital day is creating like that unique space where i i might never i mean i'll

  211. admit i i am like church girl to the heart i might never meet a technologist or have any idea what

  212. they're talking about but there's got to be this bridge that we could build in just meeting face

  213. to face having that conversation and who knows the god connections that can come out of of the room

  214. when you're meeting people face to face and you know what honestly the same thing can happen online

  215. um but there's there's just something you know to be said about looking people in the eye connecting

  216. with them being in the room feeling the excitement in the room as people are talking about these new

  217. things that are happening um in the digital realm and how we can be a part of it and you know looking

  218. to the person next to you during breaks and hey i loved this what do you think and having that back

  219. and forth so yeah we want to just we want to create that space that physical space but then not forsake

  220. the digital as well so more people can be involved yeah totally can uh can picture that uh i actually i do love

  221. the idea of of hybrid events um i i think gathering to people together is uh is is an incredible

  222. opportunity to do physically like we don't it's interesting my senior leadership we talk about it

  223. all the time we've never actually been in the same physical space at the same time with with the church

  224. digital and so we're actually right right now like i'm implement we're putting together a retreat

  225. to bring all the our our leadership together like for the first time the board board of directors

  226. together and so that we we can be together in the same space because there is benefits to being

  227. together in physical space now i we don't have the luxury of doing it like on a regular basis but to do

  228. it uh occasionally uh is is beautiful and so like a networking thing to be able to connect together in

  229. physical space is great but the reach of cv global like you know not everybody can get to london england

  230. i i frankly i wish i i could get to london england on on november 6th but i'll definitely be leaning in

  231. in online and so what is that what is the physical what is the online experience like look like um yeah

  232. is how similar is it to to like a webinar i kind of what's the format digitally for it

  233. yeah so um we have like dedicated live stream hosts that will be interacting with our uh with our stream

  234. attendees on the day of so what that'll look like we'll just be you know asking questions engaging

  235. and then hopefully we'll have some opportunities to even bring some of the speakers over during some

  236. of the breaks to you know maybe just dive a little bit deeper into a subject so that would be something

  237. unique for the stream experience that might not be in person you know and until later online um but

  238. yeah it would look like just a lot of interaction with moderators with other attendees through the

  239. chat and then with live stream hosts and then um we have you know some ways to interact for people

  240. through through asking questions even to speakers you know through a thing called slido where they can

  241. interact and ask their questions um so just simple things like that where we want to try to make you

  242. feel like you're in the room as much as possible love it yeah love love me some slido too that's that's

  243. very cool yeah um you know it's online getting a getting a behind the scenes view very popular uh getting

  244. getting something exclusive uh added bonus for since they're not there uh love that too and and and

  245. helping people find the voice so that they're represented that sounds exciting so who do you

  246. have speaking at the event gosh i'm so excited um we have a lot of amazing speakers this year

  247. and i'll just maybe highlight a few of them i think we might have a slide of some of them but

  248. um so al gordon we're kicking the day off um actually going to hear from our managing director

  249. first heinz um who's going to just give more insight into cv who we are what we do how people can get

  250. involved and so we're going to kick off the day um with him and then we're going to hear from al gordon

  251. who is a pastor and leader at saint church in london and um if you've never heard of pastor al gordon

  252. i would just encourage you to look look into him maybe follow him on social media because

  253. um in my opinion he's just he's on the front lines of creativity and innovation when it comes to

  254. the local church so what does that look like why should we be leaning into these types of things

  255. so he's going to start the day just from a pastoral and theological perspective on why we as christians

  256. should be paying attention to what's happening in the in the digital world and these advancements that

  257. are happening so that's really exciting it just kind of sets a tone for the day um and then we have

  258. people like june marita who's going to talk about ai and the future of ai what that means for mission

  259. nick moretti from brazil is going to be there so we're really excited um alex she is going to talk

  260. about quantum computing and um yeah you just say quantum computing to me and i'm like whoo but i'm

  261. sure a lot of people know way more than i do um but he's going to talk about um how you know we a lot

  262. of us we think ai this is the future but really quantum computing is right on right on the heels

  263. and is gonna gonna take over from what i hear so what does that mean for the mission world what does

  264. that mean for church pastors and leaders and technologists and so we're super excited to hear

  265. from him and then even we have a guy talking about um crypto payments so how do we utilize crypto to pay

  266. people in the mission field yeah in hard to reach areas and so just really neat conversations and that's

  267. what you know digital day is designed to spark conversations and that's what we're hoping it does

  268. yeah i mean it's interesting even the crypto um by the way quantum oh my gosh like trying to

  269. understand and a what some of this technology is like like i you know i i am my futurist i don't know

  270. but like you know i love examining and being on the cutting edge and quantum how you know is hard

  271. enough to process on its own the missional implications of quantum and how we need to start

  272. thinking about using this and preparing to go down this way like that's exciting to me um yeah you know

  273. the i'm just kind of overstating here a little bit to be silly but like the hey here's how to do a bible

  274. study online you know it's like you know i've done that for freaking 25 years like that's that's boring

  275. conversation let's let's go over here and explore like the the the untapped resources of quantum

  276. computing and and what that looks like so that that's beautiful that aside i mean to be honest right

  277. now i'm struggling uh we're organizationally we're trying to figure out how to get money to some of our

  278. people that are in the field you know over there and and we've been been wrestling with uh the the

  279. crypto conversation even even internally of whether or not we should be doing that and moving in that

  280. direction and so it intrigues me even that that you're you're you're talking about that and prepping

  281. that so really interesting i love where i love how you're you're you know thinking ahead and kind of

  282. helping the church helping missionaries uh wrestle with some of the stuff it's interesting i've got bob

  283. here watching the show hey bob uh bob saying in many cases the church is where innovation goes to die

  284. unfortunately that's the reality uh you know maybe a little bit more in the west than the

  285. than some i don't know i don't want to say that but um it it is true that that there is there is a

  286. little bit of that but what's interesting to me and and i want to i want to poke you on this a little

  287. bit see if if you're interested mary and if you can contract with this um it's like i used to work

  288. with churches a lot and and i to be honest bob's stance echoes a lot of my experience working with

  289. churches but there's there's something different because you know you're a missions organization a

  290. global missions organization that is that is not weighed down by some of the church traditions

  291. church ecclesiology i don't know what with the church but you don't necessarily have that it doesn't

  292. seem to me that missions organizations have that weight they're able to be more aggressive missionally

  293. you know there's there's actually a pastor here in america uh over over at life church craig

  294. or shell that says everything short of sin should be done and um and you know i don't see churches

  295. acting that way but i see missions organizations like yours and and you know some of your uh

  296. contemporaries that are leading the way in innovation in in thinking outside the box in in these things and

  297. so um how how has that been for you kind of kind of shifting and and and running and working with an

  298. organization that's running and and trying to figure out how to communicate effectively like talk a

  299. little bit about the innovation side that that you see through cv global yeah i think that's great um

  300. because you know i was in the church full time before going to cv and unfortunately we saw a lot of

  301. um what he was talking about when covet hit because churches were forced to innovate and to go online

  302. to stay um engaged with people and we unfortunately saw a lot of churches die um because they could just

  303. couldn't keep up with it or they didn't want to um and so we were forced even to at our church which is

  304. which is a large church and i would say at you know further a lot further ahead than where a lot of other

  305. churches are we were forced to innovate to go online what's working you know to keep people engaged and

  306. and i think the church just cannot be left behind and we have to know that the world is moving on

  307. and it's going to keep moving on without us if we don't try to keep up so i think where where the

  308. difference is is that we just have to constantly be asking the holy spirit for wisdom and discernment

  309. and to guide us and and keeping jesus at the center and because some of these technologies can be scary

  310. and i think that's why a lot of churches back off because uh you know ai oh i've seen a lot of people

  311. do that and so how do we engage with ai from a biblical perspective and and keeping you know the wisdom and

  312. discernment at the center and so with cv i mean that's that's what it is we keep jesus at the center

  313. of all that we do and so we have you know the right things in place the right guardrails in place

  314. um to make sure that we are navigating that world wisely and not getting left behind at the same time

  315. yeah where did thank thank you for that like i do i love the idea of of obviously christ being at the center

  316. uh but and and being like there needs to be someone that that's able to move ahead like to almost scout

  317. um i'm i'm thinking like the old testament hey who's gonna go in and check out the the army and

  318. and report back of of you know the the villain army the enemy and come back and report what's what's

  319. going on and and and in many ways i i look at like you know the work that we're doing or the work that

  320. cv global is doing where you're you're you're you're paving the road you're you're you're scouting

  321. ahead you're reporting and and finding you're even experimenting with what's going on um you know i've i've

  322. been i you know i've just i've been the guy in my life that that always seems to be ahead of of

  323. the curve and um what what doesn't what we're what we're doing isn't what the the status quo is but

  324. it it eventually it gets there you know like i i just it's just as a story i've told it before but i

  325. had um i probably had a calling to be a digital pastor in the 90s like 1992 and uh you know i was

  326. like when i graduated college 99 i thought oh hey some church in america is gonna like pay me to

  327. pastor aol it's gonna be awesome somebody somebody's gonna hire me please please please and nobody would

  328. hire me uh and so i was like screw it fine i'll do it myself and built a 40 000 person online community

  329. and it was awesome but the idea of you know so many times in my life i've been told it doesn't

  330. work that way you know my youth pastor who loved me who mentored me discipled me jeff no one's ever

  331. gonna pay you to no church is ever gonna hire you to be a digital pastor my youth pastor jeff you

  332. can't do community digital you can't do a church digital you gotta be in physical and and you know

  333. organizations thankfully like you are really facilitating those conversations are challenging

  334. the status quo are really kind of leading out in that as communications director i'm curious do you

  335. because i i get i get the negative feedback i get the flack i get people that that want to like

  336. like pick a fight now i'm i'm a small dog and i'm more accessible and so like i get it i understand

  337. do you get like negative feedback do you get people that are like like challenging even at the cv global

  338. at that the the large level that you are are people kind of negative and pushing back towards a lot of

  339. this digital in event and christ and in that what's what's been your experience as communications

  340. director yeah for sure um i mean i need to anytime you put yourself out there put things out there

  341. people have something to say you know yeah so um we this is just an example but um one of our articles

  342. online is about how we have used chatbots so you know you go onto a church website and maybe

  343. maybe you're someone who's really struggling and it's the middle of the night and you reach out to

  344. a local church on your website no one's responding because no one's awake right so how how can we use

  345. you know something like a chatbot to just even begin the conversation and we've built it in a way that it's

  346. you know it's as you know biblically sound and would respond the way that we would respond um but then

  347. ultimately connect them to a human so you know we've had things like that where we've we've um you know

  348. advertised for lack of a better word on facebook this um article that we've put out on how you can

  349. build the chatbot and give give some ideas based on our experience on what we've done you know and

  350. people asking how can you use you know chatbots can't have conversations with people they're not

  351. christians you know it's it's evil that sort of thing so yeah we we do get a lot of that but but

  352. we also get a lot of great things said awesome so you negative comes in you just you just brush it off

  353. i love that pretty much i mean we respond we can but yeah you're responding grace and love i i as a

  354. personal like i just i'm not there like i i i i probably i probably get more quote-unquote fights i don't

  355. want to say fights but i'll probably get in more fights than i probably should on that but

  356. i'm learning god is god even even last night god's like you know you gotta gotta let it go gotta let

  357. it go yeah move it off i always say like write out the response and then that you would want to and

  358. then delete it and delete it yeah there was there was uh there was someone who's a well-known christian

  359. pastor um wrote a a very negative article about about my organization and and named me personally in it

  360. and i wrote the i wrote the scathing reply scathing reply and uh i never i never press send the the

  361. best posts are the ones that you never send you know or the worst posts i guess but yeah i i i can

  362. totally relate to that that that's cool um where did the like so digital day where did the

  363. where did the uh the impetus where where did the idea come from for for bringing everybody together

  364. like how how does that that fit into the culture of of what you're trying to do with um

  365. uh with cv global yeah i think it was just birth from conversations of starting to get people together

  366. in the room who wouldn't normally get together um you know you wouldn't normally see church pastors

  367. and leaders in a room with a bunch of futurists and technologists and having conversations you know

  368. knowing that they have the same heartbeat for reaching people for for christ um you really wouldn't

  369. see those people having dinner together and so how can we create that unique space um and so those

  370. conversations started and digital day was birthed um 2022 i think was the first one and has just grown

  371. every year because we're just seeing a hunger for people wanting to be a part of this a community you

  372. know it's a it's a we like to say it's a community of communities yeah so let's let's bring together

  373. these these larger groups of communities into one room to have that conversation no i i just i i love the

  374. idea of partnering of of connecting of sharing of working together like that has been another thing

  375. that i've i've seen not only in cv global but a lot of the other global organizations missions

  376. organizations they seem far more you know willing to have the conversation share resources um invest time

  377. and and energy into that and so like the the the missions arm just seemed of of of this just seems to be far more

  378. open and the the ability to facilitate some of those conversations to bring people together at a global level

  379. is is beautiful what's um you know i guess i don't want to get too far behind but like 26 27 this is this is something you all are investing in for the future

  380. yes definitely awesome is is is london always the spot london is i don't know that forever will be but it is the

  381. spot spot now we do yeah we do have um events throughout the year so earlier this year in may

  382. um we had an event in tokyo called future now and it's kind of like a mini digital day

  383. um but that was in tokyo yeah and we have we had one last year so hopefully we'll have more of those

  384. kind of mini digital day events throughout the year um in 2026 awesome so you tell me i need to i need to

  385. plan on flying to uh to london uh sometime 20 november 26 next year yes yep mark it down all right we'll

  386. plan on that and if and if you're ever interested in doing something in miami i would love uh to

  387. facilitate hope help uh be a part of support something down here tell the miami office we need

  388. to do something for latin and south america i sure will that'd be beautiful um what's coming up for

  389. for cv global anything else to announce to tease to talk about gosh no i think i think that's it i think

  390. if you haven't checked out our website like i would encourage people to do that see what we're all about

  391. i love what you you know you know shared about just sharing resources and that's what we're about just

  392. free resourcing individuals churches to share their faith and so yeah check it out see how you can

  393. partner with us that would be awesome but yeah digital day that's the big one coming up and hopefully more

  394. in the future awesome yeah so check out the resources over at cv global.org uh digital day i'm sure is
