#687: Life After Death

Chapter 14 today.

And of course, there's nothing new under the sun.

But we need to have our minds refreshed sometimes because I've noticed every time I drive by the morgue there's a funeral going on.

And it's part of life.

Not easy.

But there's more to it than just eat, drink, sleep, live, and die.

A lot more to it than that.

So I want to talk about life after death today.

This is a positive thing.

Life after death.

Verse 14 of Job says, If a man die, shall he live again?

All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes.

So Job, the oldest book and the word of God, Job had revelation of the coming resurrection.

No scriptures.

So he got that revelation knowledge from God Himself.

Then we go to chapter 19.

Good question.

Shall a man live again after he dies?

We're talking physical death here.

But in Job 19, verses 26 and 27, the scripture says, And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh I shall see God.

Job 19:26

Now, how do you know that?

In Revelation.

But the next verse, whom I shall see for myself.

So Job is talking about seeing the Lord God in his physical flesh.

That was going to be destroyed by decay over the millennia.

Nevertheless, it doesn't matter.

There's a big change coming.

He said, and my eyes shall behold, and not another though my reins be consumed within me.

In other words, though I physically expire, there's a new day coming for everybody that knows Christ.

Without exception.

Now say amen, somebody.

So there is life beyond the veil of the flesh.

The flesh is the whole problem.

People that have left the physical body and go into heaven have no problems.

None zilch.

That's why they got a little smirk on their face with their hands folded like this in the coffin.

I was talking with Haskell here a few months ago about that subject, and he said, Well, when they walk by in view to me, I'm gonna have somebody pull a string and I'm gonna wink my eye at them.

Wink.

And I said, Well, I thought I'd have you hold a finger up like this.

You might as well joke around about it because it isn't over yet.

Praise God.

I said, it's not over.

Never gonna be over for a child of God.

Actually, Jesus said, now I had people leave the church because I said this, but I don't take it back.

A Christian will never die.

See, the Bible's talking about being separated from God.

That's death.

That's eternal damnation, death.

And that'll never happen to a child of God.

As long as you keep the faith and stay in grace, you're gonna make it.

That's it, period.

Now, in 1 Corinthians 15, 19, getting to the writings of the Apostle Paul here today, just to refresh your pure minds today, praise the Lord.

We are always confident, knowing that whether we're at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.

So, what he's saying is that did I go to the wrong scripture?

1 Corinthians 15, 19.

Maybe I did.

I got a lot of them wrote down here.

If in life, this life only we have hope in Christ, we're all men most miserable.

Let me dwell just a minute there.

Because this is endless.

So we have hope in Christ, don't we, right now?

But if there wasn't an afterlife, there is no hope.

That's what he's talking about.

We'd be miserable if there wasn't life beyond the veil of the flesh.

There'd be no purpose for existence.

But I want to cheer you up.

There is a big purpose for our existence now in the flesh.

And that's why we're here.

God has a purpose and a plan for each one of you to fulfill that.

And you're the only one that can do that.

Because it's designed for you to do for God.

So there is life beyond the flesh, and we're not miserable because we have hope beyond the veil of the flesh.

I want you to think about that because some of you act like you don't have any hope.

That your God's dead.

What's the matter with you?

God's not dead, He's still alive.

He cannot die, He cannot lie, and God never changes.

He's eternal.

Praise God.

And believe it or not, we are eternal.

The question is where will you go after you leave the physical body?

Heaven or hell?

That is the question.

And the late John MacArthur, which was really good in a lot of ways in his exegesis of scripture, he told Larry King exactly right, contrary to Joel's statements.

He told Larry King exactly right, and I thank God for that, because he was right in what he told Larry King.

Of course, Larry King's gone now.

Where'd he go, heaven or hell?

Well, I assure you his suspenders didn't get him into heaven.

Deuteronomy 34 and verse 5.

So our witness is very important in this world.

Now I want to go back in time to Moses' day.

Now you know that Moses was called to God to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt by a burning bush experience.

Amen.

So Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab, verse 5, according to the word of the Lord.

Now, why did Moses have to die at 120 years old?

Well, a Jubilee year is 50 years.

And Moses' time ran out because he represented 6,000 years of time.

50 times 120 is 6,000 years exactly.

From Adam to our day, folks, we're right there.

Just a little while to wait now.

That's another subject.

Moses died because he disobeyed God one time.

He smoked the rock.

He was supposed to speak to the rock, smote the rock one time, which represented the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior.

And he messed up and smote the rock again, and he was supposed to speak to the rock.

That one time kept Moses out of the promised land.

One time.

Now think about it.

Three million belly-aching, murmuring, complaining Jews.

And forty years he lost his temper one time.

And it cost him.

But Moses made it.

He didn't go to hell.

Can you prove it?

Well, sure I can.

I wouldn't have said it.

And verse 6, and he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab.

God buried the body of Moses.

Now you remember back when the Pope died years ago.

They carried him around this ox cart for weeks.

And you talk about a stiff?

It's just silly.

But God had to bury Moses, but no man knows of his sepulchre until this day.

And Moses was 120 years old, his time ran out, 50 jubilees.

When he died, his eyes were not dim, there was natural force abated.

There was no reason for Moses to die except his time ran out.

He goes up on the mountain, gives the charge to Joshua, and Moses physically ceases to function.

He physically dies, and God buried Moses there.

Is that all of it?

No.

Now Jude 9.

See, the Bible is the only scripture, uh, scripture that's valid.

There are no other scriptures that's inspired other than the Holy Bible.

None.

I said none.

Now there are study aids, that's different.

But as far as inspired word of God, there's only one book.

I said there's only one book.

Jude 9.

Yet Michael, the archangel, now there are there are three angels, Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer back in the dateless past.

Each one ruled over one third of an innumerable host of angels.

Michael, the war angel.

Everybody say war angel.

See, Gabriel is the messenger angel, and Lucifer actually was in charge of the worship in heaven, but Lucifer's reign was on the earth.

That's another subject.

You see, Satan came into the Garden of Eden, not Lucifer.

So Lucifer fell before Adam's ever created, which is another subject.

Anyway, Israel wanted to find the body of Moses and then carried that thing around.

Moses, Moses, you know, and but you see, God wouldn't allow that, and so Michael had to come down and contend with the devil about the body of Moses.

But Michael, the archangel, durst not bring a writing accusation against Lucifer, but said, The Lord rebuked thee.

Now, you you hyper faith people, it'd be wise to say, the Lord rebuke thee, O Satan.

No, it's quiet now.

Are you greater than Michael?

No, we can bind the devil, but you know what I'm saying?

Don't get so hyper-faith arrogant here, because we're nothing without the Holy Spirit's anointing.

Anyway, they fought over the body of Moses.

Michael did.

But Moses was not in the body.

I said Moses was not in the body.

Now, this is second grade teaching here, and yet I'm not getting much of a response.

2 Kings chapter 2 and verse 11.

So what happened to Moses?

Well, we're going to find out here in just a minute.

Now let's look at another account, 2 Kings 2 and verse 11.

And this is the account of Elisha.

Elijah.

Verse 11, the Bible says, it came to pass as they still went on and talked that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire.

And parted them both asunder, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

That's what the Bible says.

Elijah didn't die.

He still hasn't experienced physical death yet.

God's been taking care of him for hundreds of years.

He's been eating manna and quail and a little bit of wine.

No, I don't know anything about that.

But Elijah is still in heaven, alive.

Where did Elijah go?

Heaven.

He went up into heaven.

He did not die.

Are you following me now?

But then on the other hand, we go to Matthew chapter 17 now and verse 1 to 5.

Thank you, Lord.

Now, this is when Jesus took the disciples, Peter, James, and John.

Let me say something here.

There were 12 disciples, including Judas.

Judas was an apostle, but he fell from grace and went to hell.

Christ would not give authority to cast out demons unless they were right with him.

And so the Baptists are wrong.

God bless them, but then Judas was an apostle.

Acts chapter 1 tells us very plainly.

Acts 1 · chapter mention

He fell from his apostolic ship and went to his appointed place, hell.

Can't be disproved.

It's my assignment to keep this church straightened out.

Oh, you don't have a pastor.

That's quite an assignment.

On the other hand, God's assigned the Holy Spirit to each of us.

That's quite an assignment.

But he won't fail.

And so Peter, James, and John were the guys that got to go on the good stuff.

Now I don't know why, other than their heart was more toward the Lord Jesus than the rest of them.

There were still apostles and disciples, but yet from within that ranks, Jesus always took Peter, James, and John with him on the good stuff.

And so they go up to this mountain, and here's where it takes place now.

And after six days, oh God, there's so much here I can't get to it.

After six days, everybody says six days.

Now the book of Peter says one day is a thousand years, a thousand years is a day in the eyes of the Lord.

So after six days, or six thousand years of time, somebody's going to the mountain.

Praise God.

Did you get that?

Which backs up Moses' lifespan.

Praise God.

We ought to be the happiest people on the face of the earth.

And yet some of you are in the Molly Grubs 24-7.

And I know that we all experience down times.

We're human.

But if you have the Holy Spirit, it's going to pick you back up and you're back on fire again.

Praise God.

It's just life.

But after six days, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John, his brother, and brings them up to a high mountain apart.

I like that word apart.

And was transfigured before them.

Now, God was in Christ.

Christ was God.

The living word incarnate in the body of the Son of Man.

But yet at this point in time, Jesus allows visualization of who he really was.

To Peter, James, and John.

So he reveals to those three who he really was.

Praise God.

His face did shine as the sun, his raiment was white as a light.

And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him.

Now Moses had died.

Can I have an amen?

But Elijah did not die.

And yet, after hundreds of years, they show up on this mountain with the Lord Jesus who reveals himself as God.

And what is what I'm saying?

Oh Lord, it's good for us to live here.

Let's build free tabernacles.

And what a stupid statement.

God, no response from the Heavenly Father.

So let us keep quiet.

When a revelation hits you, keep quiet.

Don't blab off something.

Show our ignorance.

Of course, Peter was one of the greatest apostles.

We all make mistakes.

I don't know what we would have done.

We'd probably turn a cartwheel and something, and I don't know what we'd have done.

I'd have probably fallen down.

Praise God.

But anyway, Moses shows up alive.

Which proves there's life after death.

That's right.

Amen.

Now Moses represented all the Old Testament saints that have died in the faith looking for the Savior to come.

And yet, get this, everybody's ever going to get it.

Elijah shows up representing all those that will not experience death and will be raptured.

Glory to God.

Amen.

That's right.

Praise the Lord.

So no matter how it is, if you're in Christ, everybody, you got it made.

Praise God.

You got it made in the shape.

Well, Peter Anson said, Lord, it's good for us to be here.

Well, sure.

Let us make three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Now you've got to understand that Moses and Elijah, as great as they were, were not the light.

They were merely reflectors of the light.

The light was coming from Christ Jesus Himself.

In fact, everybody in the future, New Jerusalem, there will be no need of the sun, moon, and stars, for Christ Himself will be the glory and the light thereof.

Glory to God.

Folks, your Savior is more powerful than we realize.

He is all power.

But here, he reveals himself to these guys.

And verse 5, for those of you that don't believe in the Trinity, you're wrong.

While he yet spake, a bright cloud overshadowed them.

That would be the second glory of the Holy Ghost.

And behold a voice out of the cloud.

That's the Father God.

How do I know it's the Father God?

Because the Bible says, the Bible says, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.

Hear you him.

In other words, listen up.

Listen, my son, whom I'm well pleased.

Praise God.

So there on the mountain, it's revealed.

There is life after death.

Praise God.

Cheer up, everybody.

Like one guy had his uh inscription on his uh tombstone put over his grave and said, I told you I was sick.

I told you I was six.

I heard about this one guy.

I think I won't call any names here, but you know I don't believe in cremation.

I think it's not a Christian practice.

But you can do whatever you want.

But remember, the resurrection's coming no matter what happens.

So we're not going to cremate and and and and give people not a chance to mourn and no grave.

And this one guy had his ashes put in a cannon and shot out of a cannon.

My that's silly.

My aunt, oh, when I die, just cremate me and put my ashes in the Pacific Ocean.

How romantic.

No, it's stupid.

Now, go ahead and do what you want.

But I'm gonna tell you, if my wife cremates me, I'll send a lightning bolt down from glory and cremate her.

I don't know any law that says that thou shalt not cremate.

But show me one place in the New Testament where any believer did that.

No.

No, they buried him.

Even Joseph that carried his bones away.

Amen.

Besides that, listen, everybody.

If we go by the way of the grave, you won't be in the grave.

You will not be in the grave.

There is no such thing as grave sleeping.

Just the physical.

That's it.

Don't know anything.

Like most of you on Sunday morning, you're almost there now.

One heartbeat away from calling BJ.

I tell the undertaker, don't look at me that way.

He's thinking, wonder how much from Aldehide Randy's gonna take.

Do not look at me that way.

Down at the Lassie Bureau a few years back, and Cruz was there, and the Undertaker was talking with me.

And I said, you know what?

I kind of like those uh cedar coffins you're selling now.

He says, You do?

I said, Yeah, well, I guess I do, you know.

And uh so he pulls out a card.

Now, I don't need a business card.

And he goes, Hey Cruz, you want that?

He goes, uh no, I don't think I want it right now.

I mean, I go down there, I ask him, how's business?

You know, what do you say?

Well, it's dead, Randy.

You know, I know it's dead.

Might as well laugh about it, because listen, it's not over.

It's just gone to chapter two of your eternal existence in God.

Man, if we understand how wonderful it is to leave this world of sin, suffering, heartache, depression, discouragement, grief, agony, gloom, and despair, we'd rejoice.

I think they got it right in Louisiana.

When somebody passes away, they carry the coffin down the street and they got the horns and the drums.

Man, they're celebrating.

They're not crying and carrying on the blues all the time.

No, they're rejoicing because the Lord loves the death of his saints.

Because they're going to the Father's house.

Oh, they're going to the Father's house! Glory to God.

That's where you're going.

Might as well act like it.

Praise God, hallelujah.

Praise God.

This is the account of Elizabeth, of course, and Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life.

He that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

He that believes in me, though he were physically dead, yet shall he live.

Now I've told you the account that happened years ago with me when I went to see a woman in the hospital in Freeman's and she was brain dead.

But I tell her to glorify God, not to, not because you don't remember these things, but there are other people here that haven't heard this.

So just act like you never heard it before.

I get the call to go up there, and they got her on the life support and everything.

And I talked to the chaplain, and he goes, Well, you know, not much use going in and praying.

I said, Well, God sent me up here.

So that's the difference.

I go in there and grab her feet and say a prayer.

I don't know what it was.

It didn't look good, and the natural looked bad.

B-b-b-bad.

And two months goes by, and I get a call down here.

They're having some troubles, and they wanted to talk to me about something.

I go and knock on the door and I said, I'm here.

I got this phone call you wanted to talk to the minister here, and I'm here on the pastor here, and what's up?

And this lady sitting in the back, she goes, I know you.

And I said, Look, we've never met.

I don't know you or this man, uh, your husband here, the refuting or something, you know, like most of you do on a Sunday morning.

And like some of you do on a Sunday morning, and uh, no, all of you do on a Sunday morning.

Anyway, she goes, No, I know you.

And I said, No, we've never met.

I don't know you.

I'm not a cop.

I'm not in social services working here, no.

She says, I know you, I know your voice.

You came in the hospital and called me back into my body.

And there she said, and I'd go, no way.

Yes, way.

Jumped out of my cowboy boots.

Folks, you don't know what God's gonna do.

God's supernatural, he can do whatever he wants, but he's gonna use us somehow.

This is a good deal.

Now, in the next verse, let's go down to 27, please.

And whosoever lives in me shall never die.

Do you believe this?

Let it soak in.

I believe you're the son of you're the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

But back up to verse 26 again.

I want you to see this now.

Whosoever lives and believes in me, you're alive because of the new birth and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

You shall never die.

Do you believe that?

Well, how many believe that?

Can I have an amen?

How many believe that?

Quit trying to figure it out.

We cannot, but it's what the Lord said.

So I must believe it.

And this is good news.

Great news.

That means your loved ones has gone on, you'll see them again.

And they won't have a long beard.

Well, maybe they will.

I don't know.

I think Jesus has a beard, so I just can't grow one.

I'm sorry.

I don't know about the long hair part on Christ, because in the Jewish custom you had to have a haircut every 30 days.

I'd call it a Caesar cut.

I don't know anything about man buns in heaven.

But if we're contentious, we have no such custom.

Better to read your writings of Apostle Paul.

So if you want to have long hair cut it off, what's that then mean?

Unless you're a Samson and John the Baptist.

Otherwise, moving right along here.

So do you believe that if you in Christ you're never going to die?

One or two.

Rest of you don't know.

The flesh is what's hindering you.

See, this is the final test.

Whenever we leave this body, that's the final test of faith right there.

Can we trust God?

We're not going to get into heaven because we're some good old boy.

Oh, we've done many wonderful works.

There's only one reason why we're going to get into heaven.

Jesus says we can get in.

Praise God, not Saint Peter.

Now in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 6, it's almost like trying to pull wisdom teeth, you know, here today.

2 Corinthians 5 · chapter mention

And those dentists will get up on your shoulders and knock you out and yank and pull and yank and it's bad news.

It's almost like water on a duck's back.

We should never get tired of hearing the good news.

And this is part of the gospel, everybody.

Say gospel.

This is part of it.

This is part of the package deal.

Young people die and old people die and young people may.

I'll get it right.

But where do they go?

I talked to this one guy in town the other day when I visited with him.

And I says, well, something about going to heaven.

He says, Oh, yeah, we all go to heaven.

No, wait a minute.

Only those in Christ go to heaven.

The narrow road is Christ.

The broad road is religion.

Devil's already got the world.

All going to hell.

All of them.

I said, all of them.

Unless they repent and receive Christ as Savior and Lord, they will escape the wrath of God Almighty.

They will not go to burning hell.

But just because we live in America doesn't mean we're automatically Christians.

Just because you're raised from a preacher's family doesn't mean you're right with God.

You can't ride to heaven on somebody else's coattail.

You've got to develop your own relationship with the Savior.

This takes some stamina.

Amen.

2 Corinthians 5 and verse 6.

Therefore, we are always confident, knowing that while we're at home in the body, we're absent from the Lord.

Now, wait a minute.

The Holy Spirit's everywhere.

So we're not talking about the omnipresence of God here.

We're talking about a personal relationship.

When we're in the physical body, we're not in heaven with the Lord.

Jesus is in heaven.

The Father God's on the throne.

The Holy Spirit's here to carry us to heaven when we leave the body.

That's as simple as I can make this thing.

The angels came to get Lazarus, took him to paradise.

But the rich man had no escort of angels, but went to hell.

Folks, this is serious.

And I expect to see you in church every time my door is open.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

Because your soul's in the balance.

I know there are exceptions, but God sees your heart.

And until you get faithful in a few things, why would God promote you in any kind of ministry whatsoever until you've proved to God you're going to be sincere about living for Him?

He won't.

But I'm glad you come to church.

And most of you, you know more word than most churches in this town.

But have you applied it?

Don't let somebody tell you there's Sid S grave sleep.

There is no Susan's grave sleep.

The physical sleeps.

Even Jesus said about Lazarus.

Well, he just sleeps.

Well, when this time comes, we'll get some rest then, everybody.

Right now we've got to work for God.

Bring this flesh under subjection.

Amen.

We're not said to go to.

So we're confident knowing that while we're at home in the body, we're absent from the Lord.

Now, the next verse, verse 7, we walk with faith and not by sight.

This is what we're really talking about.

They take this out of text.

So this dying thing, we've got to walk by faith.

And the next verse, we're confident, I say, willing rather to be absent from the body.

We would rather be not in the physical body anymore.

And to be present with the Lord.

So when we leave the physical body, you're escorted through the pearly gates into the presence of God Almighty, and there enter into the joys of the Lord.

Man, there's no more trouble, and your days of problems are over.

But until then, we're in the physical body.

And we need to do something for God while we're in the physical body, because payday is coming when we leave this body.

Now we have some benefits of serving God now in the physical body.

Like we're in a covenant, God meets our need, this and that, and he helps us in a lot of different ways.

But then payday is coming when we stand before the Father God at the judgment seat of Christ, which is another subject.

At the judgment seat of Christ, you'll be resurrected.

Oh God.

You see, when we leave the physical body, we're in the spirit body and we go to heaven to await the resurrection.

And then when Jesus comes back for the church, those Christians that are in heaven in the spirit body come back with him to be reunited with the physical body that's resurrected from the grave and be synchromed with spirit and soul and body.

That is salvation.

And that's immortality.

Did you understand what I tried to say?

So the resurrection is literal.

Even though we walk in newness of life right now because we're Christians, that's the spirit realm.

That enables us to receive the literal resurrection that will come when the trumpet sounds.

Well, let's go over there in 1 Thessalonians 4, 17 and 18, which is another subject.

I don't want to get bogged down here.

Then we which are alive remain.

Now that's talking about those that have not physically died.

To repeat, when a Christian physically dies, the inner man goes to heaven in the spirit body to await the literal resurrection of themselves.

This is clear as mud, isn't it?

You understand?

Then why are you so sad?

We which are alive and remain should be caught up together with them in the clouds.

So the dead in Christ rise first out of the graves.

They go up to meet the spirit and soul and be reunited as one.

That is salvation.

That's the final act of salvation.

To meet the Lord in the air, so shall we ever be with the Lord.

So the Lord's gonna come back in the air from heaven, bring the saints with him from Adam on to be reunited with the spirit bodies, with the literal bodies that have come out of the earth and be joined with the spirit body, and that is salvation, and the Lord's the one gonna head it up.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

So then comfort one another with these words.

Comfort one another with these words.

I like the old country song, not that I'm a country music fan, but I'll have a new body.

Praise the Lord, I'll have a new life.

Something like that.

Ain't no grave gonna hold his body down.

But you won't be in the body.

Nevertheless, thank you, Lord.

Your body knows where you will be in the air.

It's like, for example, when God told Elijah, prophesy of them dry bones over there.

And I told the guy that said he's gonna get cremated.

I said, Well, God didn't say prophesy of the ashes.

And here's the thing about the dry bones coming back together.

This ankle bone went to the skeleton that the ankle bone belonged to.

This leg bone went to the skeleton that joined to the hip of the skeleton.

Not somebody else's leg bone.

In like manner, God's gonna put us all back together.

Humpty Dumpty couldn't do it, but God will do it.

And when we get the new body, glory to God.

No more eyeglasses, no more dentures, no more aches and pains, no more arthritis, no more strokes, no more this and that, no more discouragement, no more flat feet.

What else I think of?

No more hair loss.

If you want a lot of hair, are you gonna get it?

Drag in the floor.

I don't know.

Well, whatever it is, folks, it's gonna be good.

And but now you will not be husband and wife in those days.

I'm sorry.

What?

Husband and wife is for this realm.

And when you get to heaven, there'll be no need for husband and wife, even though you will remember this is your little sweetie.

That was your hunk over there.

Christ is the one you'll be married to.

Glory to God.

Thank you, Lord.

So enjoy your marriage now.

And some of you are not gonna get out of it until the rapture.

Daniel twelve, let's close with this.

You've taken all you can take this morning.

I'll just tell you, God hates divorce.

But yet he said, Hero Israel, come back to me.

I'm still married to you.

Praise God.

Daniel 12, 2.

Now there's a lot here.

I don't want to get bogged down in different subjects here.

Many that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.

Where were they sleeping at?

In the dust of the earth.

What part of the human was sleeping?

The physical.

Some to everlasting life.

In other words, the resurrection will come, and the physical body will never die again.

And have a body much like Christ.

Praise God.

And some to shame and everlasting contempt.

That's those that are not Christians, not born again, not in.

Covenant with God.

They'll be resurrected, but that's a thousand years later or more.

And then verse 3.

They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament.

If we're rise today, Jesus is the Savior and Lord of our lives, and that is it, period.

But the Bible does talk about he that wins souls is wise.

And they that turn many to righteousness as the stars.

Forever and ever.

Are you a soul winner?

Forever and ever.

Let me close with this.

There are different punishments in hell.

God is just.

All will be punished in hell, but some will have a more of a crispy critter experience than others.

Like Hitler, Mussolini, and all those dudes that were totally evil, they're going to be punished way more than just a good old boy that wasn't saved.

But nevertheless, all are going to experience damnation.

But different levels of damnation.

In contrast, there's different degrees of rewards in heaven for the saints.

Some will shine like the sun, some will shine like the moon, some will shine like the stars forever and ever.

There's no such thing, this little light of mine.

No such thing.

Maybe now.

But in those days, all of you will shine like the sun, the moon, or the stars.

It depends upon what you do with your life for the Lord Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God right now where we're in the flesh.

It's up to you.

But I want to encourage you when the Holy Spirit pulls on you.

You don't need to know what he wants.

Just respond.

Please, just respond.

He has nobody else.

He's counting on us.

Why do you slumber?

It's the flesh.

It's got to be crucified.

And if you don't yield, God's going to help you get it crucified.

Because he's counting on us to take the baton and run with the message and make a good statement of faith with our life.

That's what God's counting on.

He's counting on you, child of God.

Are you going to be committed and faithful until the end?

Paul was getting ready to die and he said, I'd run a good race if I've kept the faith.

Knowing he's going to die.

He looked forward to it.

Peter, looking forward to death.

He said, I'm not worthy to die like my Lord.

Crucify me upside down.

Dear God.

Some people can't even live for God.

You think you're going to die for your faith in tribulation?

Sir, you are deceived.

There'll be babies born in tribulation period, and they're going to come in and mutilate them before your eyes.

Wake up, church.

Today's the day of salvation.

Now is accepted time, and it's up to us to make our lives count for God.

Stand to your feet, everybody.

That's it.

I want to quit on a good note.

Everybody's saved is going to go to heaven.

Everybody.

But those fake false believers are going to stay right here.

Along with the hearted church and all the false prophets are all going to be left behind.

Only those whose names in the book are getting out of here.

Because it keeps the devil at bay.

The devil cannot get in.

Because the wall of proper doctrine is put up and bars the devil from your life and the congregation.

That's the way she works right there.

I want to know today how many is ready to go.

Like my mom said, I'm ready to go, but when's the next trip?

You know, like we don't know.

Jimmy Swagger, one of the greatest preachers of our day, is gone.

But if it wasn't for his ministry, I wouldn't be standing here.

But if it wasn't for the Apostle Paul, none of us would be standing.

And if it wasn't for Jesus, he's the rock, he's the foundation we build upon.

Hallelujah.

Make your life count for God, everybody.

Please don't waste your life.

Life's short.

Make your life count for God, because he may come for one of us today.

Or tomorrow.

I'm looking for their answer.

But if not, we're still gonna make it.

By the grace of God Almighty.

There's your name in the book.

Say amen now.

Praise God.

Don't let Satan push you out of the church.

I said, don't let Satan push you out of the church.

Oh, you'll go down.

God wants us to go up.

Now, if you've got odds with somebody who's in a church, make restitution.

Because even though you may all get into glory, you may have to live next door to that old boy you didn't like.

Sister Sal's right next door.

You're gonna have to make amends.
