Lift our Bibles up and wave them around, make Jesus glad, the devil mad.
-
How many of you like making the devil mad?
-
You know let's say this together.
-
Say, Heavenly Father, I'm so glad for the word of God.
-
My faith is being built today by hearing the Rhema word of God.
-
You've spoken so we can say it.
-
You said it so we can speak it.
-
Things were spoken, and then they appeared.
-
And that's what I'm doing.
-
I'm speaking into my life by faith, and what I'm believing and speaking and acting like is coming to pass in Jesus' name.
-
Amen.
-
You can be seated.
-
Let's look at uh Isaiah, the ninth chapter, please.
-
And uh we'll start reading the verse eight.
-
This is Isaiah prophesying to Israel.
-
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel, and all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, that say, in the pride and stoutness of heart, the bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones.
-
The sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
-
Now, Isaiah 9.11.
-
9.11.
-
What is God's response to their stoutness of heart that they're going to build back better and greater and taller?
-
Therefore, the Lord shall set up the adversaries of reason against him and shall join his enemies together.
-
First it's going to be the Syrians and the Philistines behind them, and they shall devour Israel with open mouth.
-
And uh for all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
-
For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the Lord of hosts.
-
Therefore the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
-
And so uh today I wanted to share a message that I've shared many times in the last 25 years.
-
It's called the 9-11 countdown.
-
And uh we just uh celebrated the 9-11 uh, I hate to call it an anniversary because anniversary means like it's a celebration.
-
It's the day that we marked it, 9-11.
-
Isn't it amazing?
-
We have the emergency dial is 9-11.
-
And so on 9-11, 2001, the Twin Towers fell.
-
And this past uh week before uh the pays came, uh, on that Friday was happened to be the feast of trumpets, Rosh Hashanah.
-
And many people believe that Jesus is fulfilling all the feasts, and the final feast to be fulfilled will be at his coming for the church, the feast of trumpets.
-
We'll hear the trumpet blast, and he'll come down and snatch the church.
-
Everybody say that's that's me.
-
I ain't staying around for what's left what's next.
-
You can stay here in tribulate if you want to.
-
I'm leaving on the first load.
-
But uh everybody say 9-11.
-
-
Seemed like just yesterday.
-
You know, the New York Times had a uh headline, it says uh airplanes took aim.
-
They try to remove the guilt from the freaks that did this.
-
Islam did this, actually, Satan did this.
-
It wasn't airplanes, airplanes were just the tool.
-
It's like gun violence.
-
You know, my guns aren't violent unless somebody tries to be violent with me at my front door, try to get in my front door, then my gun becomes violent.
-
But it's the person holding the gun that's violent, isn't it?
-
You know, what we've got right now, the lying media, they try to turn everything, and and and I'm preaching this so that you can stir yourself up.
-
I'm served up.
-
And this is positive.
-
This don't feel like this is heavy and oh, this is sad.
-
No.
-
You know why?
-
Because we we know God's side and we're on God's side.
-
No matter what happens, we are the blessed of the Lord.
-
No one can curse what God is blessed.
-
And if you need a little extra teaching, just go back a few weeks ago when I taught on the blessing.
-
We are blessed, and nobody can curse what God is blessed.
-
But we live in America, and America has a different covenant with God than the church.
-
Now, you know, in 1 Corinthians 10, God sees three people, three people groups.
-
He sees the Jews, the nations, and the church.
-
The Jews have a covenant.
-
The nations, which really in the Hebrew is Goyim, that's everybody else besides the Jews, they have no covenant.
-
And so then the church, and the church has a better covenant than the we've got the superior covenant.
-
But then in God's holy, you know, vest pocket, he pulled out America for the last days.
-
And he brought the pilgrims to the shores, and they dedicated this country for the propagation of the gospel, and they cut a they saw themselves like Israel.
-
They saw themselves like escaping Pharaoh.
-
And they made a covenant, and that covenant then is different than the churches.
-
My church, my covenant is only blessings.
-
I have no curses.
-
All I have to do is admit when I'm wrong, confess my sin, and I mean that sin is blotted out, it's gone, not remembered anymore, and I don't have curses in my life.
-
If I have something that resembles a curse, I don't allow it to stay.
-
I I keep moving against it until it, I hold the blood of Jesus against it, till it goes away.
-
But now nations are different, including America.
-
See, Israel had curses when they went into the promised land, they had Mount Ebel and Mount Gerizim, and they had priests on each mountain, and they they shouted to the people as they crossed over into the Canaan land the blessings and the curses, and boy, the curses outlook.
-
There's a lot more verses that talk about the curses, Deuteronomy 28.
-
But now America has curses.
-
See, we're one nation under God until we're not.
-
And when we start drifting away from God, we start doing things that displease God as a nation, then we begin to begin to have problems.
-
What does that have to do with the church?
-
Well, the fact is that the church, the American church, many of us, or everybody that's born again, is also, we're citizens of heaven, all right, but yet God expects us to be good citizens of the nation that He planted us in.
-
And when we don't uh exercise our leadership and guidance and we're not lied and sought, and the pastor doesn't get up here and say what's the truth at election time, then we wind up with what we've been having for the last long time.
-
So there's a remedy.
-
I mean, I'm excited.
-
I mean, things are beginning to change.
-
One thing or another, I'll tell you, one way or another, Jesus is coming.
-
So this is a positive message for us, but I'm but it's also something that if we don't remember what God has said to us, and when he says it to me, he says it to all of us.
-
He said a lot to me since we started this church.
-
Started in '96 when he said we're a regional sinner.
-
I didn't understand that.
-
I saw a capital on a piece of property we were looking at, a potential piece of property to buy.
-
And I had a visitation right there on the side of Haynes Drive, little old dinky road over here.
-
And uh I saw this uh star with a circle in the sky, and it came and lit on that property.
-
Then I zoomed out away from it.
-
It became like a mark on a map, like you'd mark Washington, D.C.
-
and Austin.
-
James just got back from Washington, D.C., and Austin this week.
-
Don't tell me God didn't have some things in mind when we started.
-
And over the years, he's just unfolded certain things to me.
-
I mean, these were these many of them were just like visions and audible voice.
-
I mean, it's what we call spectacular guidance.
-
Why?
-
Because if we didn't have those things sprinkled in there, we would have given up a long time ago doing what we do.
-
Because it's not, you know what, you want to make an enemy talk about somebody's religion or talk about politics at the family dinner table.
-
You can you'll always have a you'll have a heated argument before it's over with.
-
So when I get up here and talk about politics, a lot of people don't like it.
-
I've had them leave.
-
96 when Clinton was up for his second term, and the church had just started the year before.
-
I said, you know, you can't vote for Clinton.
-
Did we have a good, did we have a good alternative?
-
Not really.
-
We didn't have a good alternative.
-
Bob Dole.
-
Oh God.
-
Bob Dole.
-
See, we very seldom have we had a good uh a good choice.
-
It's it's like you hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils, but vote, you must vote.
-
When you don't vote, you give the other side free reign.
-
Anyway, so uh almost everybody remembers where they were 25 years ago.
-
Many of you are young, you didn't you don't remember where you were, some of you weren't here.
-
And so maybe you know 9-11 doesn't mean that much to you like it does to me.
-
I mean, every movie I watch, I was watching uh oh that uh uh You've got mail movie, you know, at the end, you know, the two meet in the park in New York and you know, over from somewhere over the rainbow.
-
It's it's a cute movie.
-
I mean, it's just you know, it's cute.
-
And they got a picture of the twin towers, and it just catches me.
-
Home alone, too.
-
The little guy gets up on the top of the twin towers with the binoculars.
-
It's supposed to be funny, it's I'm supposed to laugh, but it catches me every time I see it.
-
I have a grief inside of me that we let that happen.
-
We didn't deserve it, we let it.
-
Deserve has nothing to do with anything.
-
Jesus took our curse.
-
The church should be ruling and reigning, and it would help the country because the country is not all Christians.
-
Not everybody that voted at votes knows God.
-
They don't know who what God's side is.
-
But anyway, on that morning, uh Gladys and I were getting ready to head to Channel 14 Studios, which was a TBN affiliate, and we hosted the the Praise the Lord program over the years.
-
Sometimes it was, you know, they'd have two two uh uh two programs a week, so we were there a lot.
-
Not not in the same week, but we were rotated through as hosts, and we gave a lot of our time.
-
There was nobody paying us to do it.
-
And I don't mail anything in.
-
I get up early.
-
I get, I get, you know, I never know who I'm gonna interview.
-
A lot of times it's dead heads that don't have any anointing, and I've got to fill in the I've got to fill it in with something from God that will that will go over the city.
-
That was my heart to get a word of God over this city.
-
And all the years we did it, we only had one couple that ever saw us and came to the church.
-
Nobody, I mean, it's you know, they weren't even on cable for a long time, much less direct TV.
-
But anyway, uh Jay called and said, Dad, turn you got the TV on.
-
We're under attack.
-
So I turned the TV on and saw the World Trade Center on fire.
-
So we got ready quick and got in the car and drove across town and called the station ahead of time.
-
I said, Look, we're on our way and we're gonna change everything this morning.
-
We're not gonna have a praise the Lord program.
-
We're gonna have a prayer meeting.
-
Let the guests know I will not be interviewing them, I will not be asking them.
-
We're going to kneel down on the set and we are going to pray for our nation.
-
Oh, I think that would be a good idea.
-
I said, I don't ask you about a good idea.
-
That's what we're doing.
-
See, I could tell they were gonna call and get permission.
-
I don't need permission.
-
I take, I take what God tells me to do, and if you don't like it, then I'll leave and go somewhere else and pray.
-
But we're gonna pray.
-
And we did.
-
And what did we pray?
-
We knelt on that set and we repented for the on behalf of this nation for the way it's treated Israel.
-
I mean, Clinton and Bush 41 before him, they treated Israel terrible.
-
I mean, look at look at Roosevelt.
-
He turned Jewish refugees, 500 of them away, that were trying to flee the Holocaust.
-
He wouldn't let them come into the country.
-
He's got blood on his hands.
-
He's never been a hero to me.
-
I don't care anything about FDR.
-
Forget it.
-
Don't talk to me about Roosevelt.
-
I don't like him.
-
He hates Israel.
-
These people were really on the edge of communism.
-
They they gave Soviet Russia all these weapons and all this technology.
-
Come on, wake up.
-
The church needs to be engaged.
-
We need to be speaking these things from right here, under the anointing, and standing up for the truth.
-
So uh we did, and we we, while they're you know, on the way there, you know, the second tower fell, and and so we we repented for this nation, turning away from God and persecuting Israel.
-
And unfortunately, though, our leaders, both uh our church leaders and our political leaders, chose to do like Isaiah 9 and said, we're gonna build back bigger.
-
I mean, yes, it's in rubble, but we're gonna clean it up and we're gonna build something bigger.
-
We're gonna get, we're gonna go away, and it's there.
-
And the name of it is One World Trade Center.
-
It'll be the wonderful, it'll be a wonderful tech headquarters for the Antichrist.
-
We've already got him a building built right in the middle of Manhattan.
-
Whoop-de-doo.
-
Where was the church?
-
Where was the church?
-
Millions of people came to church.
-
They were unchurched, they were afraid.
-
They didn't understand, they didn't understand how this could happen.
-
How could these people, I mean, they're not exactly uh airline pilots, these are third world idiots.
-
How could they fly a jet airplane when they've only been trained in a Cessna 172?
-
You can't.
-
Why?
-
Because the devil was in the cockpit with them.
-
I mean, they had supernatural power.
-
The devil has supernatural power.
-
Uh, we've got greater power, but we've got to use that power.
-
And the church, I'm sorry, the church just hasn't utilized his power.
-
God told me there's been a wasting of power in the church.
-
I went to see Brother Or Roberts, you know, and he he got a he got an indication from God in 2004, and it was confirmation of some of the things God told me.
-
I went to interview him, and he said, the church isn't ready for the second coming.
-
Yeah, I guess not.
-
God told me in 99 to wake up the church, and I and he said, You need to wake up first.
-
I didn't realize I was asleep and I'm a pastor, and I'm even speaking out in politics.
-
I'm speaking out against Clinton.
-
I'm speaking, I mean, I'm I'm calling, I'm, you know, I'm saying things.
-
I remember one time I said you can't vote for Clinton and with good conscience.
-
He's he's against Israel.
-
He's trying to get Israel to give away a land for peace, plus, he's an immoral man.
-
He's a fake.
-
And I had people leave the church.
-
They're more Democrat than they are Christian.
-
They didn't want to go along with what I was saying.
-
But what I was saying was the truth.
-
I think history kind of borne us out, hadn't it?
-
Anyone here in Monica Lewinsky?
-
Anyway, so uh so they came to church listen, you know, searching for answers.
-
It could have been a revival if we had called, you know, if Bush 43 had called for a day of fasting and prayer and bow your knee before God.
-
We're one nation under God.
-
Let's let's humble ourselves.
-
No, they did not humble themselves.
-
The stoutness and the pride of their heart spoke, and the church agreed with them in general.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
No, we're not gonna do that anymore.
-
We're gonna find out what God's side is and get on it, and we found out what God's side is and we stay on it.
-
So uh, you know, Bush's uh Bush 43, we voted for him.
-
Why, you know, you can't, I wouldn't, yeah.
-
I mean you can hold your nose and vote.
-
I didn't like him.
-
Compassionate conservative, which means he's not a conservative, which means he really doesn't believe he wants open borders.
-
That's what the man wanted.
-
He wants to just wave a magic wand and just make everybody this illegal, legal suddenly, just like that.
-
Well, that's not right.
-
That's an invasion that was not sanctioned by God.
-
God does not sanction one group, people group to invade the borders of another people group unless that that other nation, like the Canaan land, God allowed that to happen.
-
Why?
-
Because Canaan's sin filled a cup and he gave it to his people.
-
All of the earth belongs to God.
-
So you can't just go anywhere you want to go just because you want to get there.
-
Everything belongs to him, and he meets it out as he chooses.
-
You know, there's no all this talk about indigenous people.
-
There aren't any.
-
Everybody came from someplace.
-
It's a lie.
-
Everything belongs to God, and he gives the land to whom he will.
-
I've already got some people offended, and I'm just right into this message already, just a little bit.
-
So, what did Bush do?
-
Well, Bush made it such that we were the criminals that we had to prove that we were not terrorists, and all the Muslims got a pass, and then they started building mosques everywhere.
-
And they built a mosque on the on right down the street from that's what they do.
-
They built a mosque to commemorate the fact that they had torn us down and attacked us.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
We let that happen.
-
Oh, yes, we're great and wonderful.
-
We're magnanimous.
-
We're we're just we're above all that.
-
That was his attitude.
-
I'm gonna thump him in the head.
-
And so, you know, he he formed the Department of Homeland Security, the biggest mess you've ever seen.
-
It's massive bureaucracy.
-
And now we're out at the and grandma with the blue hair has got to take her shoes off, and she's got to answer a bunch of questions of whether she's got a bomb in her blouse or not.
-
And here's a guy with a whole, you know, flowing robes with a turban on his head, and they don't even check him.
-
See, they want to go overboard with thinking that it's uh, you know, regular folks that are the problem when we know who it is.
-
It's Islam that's problem.
-
They had a party in Brooklyn watching the night towers fall.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
We're gonna have to do something about it.
-
We are doing something about it.
-
So uh the reason that this is good news is because as long as we don't forget what God has shown us and what side God is on, then we can qualify for the blessing.
-
And we can be more effective in doing what He's wanting us to do.
-
He wants us to do something about what's going on right now.
-
Well, you mean us?
-
Yeah, us.
-
Because all it takes is just a tiny bit of power, and we've all got more than that inside of us, and when you put us all together, we've got enough to do the job that God called us to do.
-
But we have to stir ourselves up to step into that place.
-
And some of you are new, you don't know what we're all about, but this is a big part of what we're all about.
-
All right, so I'll take you back to 927, 2001, just two weeks or so after 9-11.
-
I had be honest with you, we were in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
-
We'd gone through a lot of trouble.
-
Uh, you know, I'd I we had to move a church, you know, and we were just had been in this building for, you know, a little less than two years, and we don't own the building.
-
We rent it, and we're only there part of the time, and they're there the rest of the time.
-
It was tough.
-
It was a tough time, and had a lot of boobirds that were lying about us, and there was a lot of atmosphere of uh of stuff around me while all this is ready to go on, and God is God is beginning to speak to me, told me in 99, March 1st, 99, wake up the church.
-
So I'm thinking, what does that mean?
-
And and then a bunch of the church that I told that to left me, and they didn't like the message, and they didn't like the fact we bought 92.7 acres, and they didn't like the fact that we were planning on something bigger, a regional center, and and they didn't like much of anything.
-
And so, you know, you have all that.
-
And so when 9-11 happened, I thought, golly, I feel kind of bad.
-
I should have known that that was coming.
-
Have I been asleep?
-
You told me to wake up.
-
I thought I was awake.
-
I mean, I preach on politics.
-
I do, I say things.
-
I say things about Israel.
-
I say things about Islam.
-
I mean, how could I not know that this was going on?
-
So I went to Galveston, kind of with that attitude, kind of just humble myself and see where I'd gone wrong, see whether maybe there was something I needed to adjust, you know, and I fasting and praying.
-
And so I went out from a hotel room and I went and sat down on the seawall, overlooking what is now the Gulf of America.
-
And uh and uh haven't been to Lake America yet, but anyway.
-
So uh Greenland is a 51st, 52nd state.
-
So anyway, so we're I'm sitting there and I'm just looking out at the sea, you know, the water's rolling in, and I'm praying in the Holy Ghost.
-
And uh the word of the Lord came unto me.
-
He says, you know, many waves have hit this beach over many, many eons of time.
-
One wave hit this beach and just killed 6,000 people and destroyed this city.
-
But the wave that is coming, as it were, the mother of all waves, is going to come and millions will be swept into the kingdom of God.
-
And many will be reserved until final judgment where they will have to face the Antichrist.
-
And he went on to and just started talking to him about the greater and lesser army.
-
The greater army is going to be uh doing great exploits in this period of time.
-
The lesser, I've never heard the term greater army, lesser army.
-
I never, I just what?
-
But you know, the church is kind of like that.
-
You know, we're all an army, but some haven't really dedicated themselves properly to doing what God wants them to do.
-
They're just kind of going through the motions.
-
This is a greater army right here.
-
And we're gonna do exploits.
-
And he said, you're gonna, there, the the subject of your exploits is gonna be the subject of discussion for all of eternity.
-
And I saw a picture of us kind of sitting around heaven and sharing war stories.
-
Now, this is just two weeks, two and a half weeks after 9-11.
-
I'm I'm giving you what God gave me.
-
And he gave it to you.
-
By virtue of giving it to me, he gave it to you.
-
And so, uh, and I, you know, and then so I, you know, I knew some things, and because, you know, just a few months before in June, it reminded me, we talk about this great wave, I had had my tsunami dream of June in June of 2001, three months before 9-11.
-
And many of you haven't heard that.
-
I'll do it as brief as I can, but I in my dream I was driving on this beautiful white sandy beach, couldn't have been Galveston, and blue water out there, sand dune on my right, blue water out to my left.
-
I'm the convertible man, I'm driving, not a care in the world.
-
The sunshine, blue sky, no humidity, couldn't have been Galveston.
-
And just, oh, it was delightful.
-
And then something caught my eye out in the water, and I look out there, and there's a tsunami coming.
-
And my my carefree turned into terror.
-
I thought, I gotta get off this beach.
-
I can't turn right, this dunes.
-
I'm in a convertible, I'm in a car.
-
And so, man, I put the pedal to the metal, I start driving, I'm looking at that thing, it's getting closer, it's getting closer, I'm driving, and finally, between here and the lobby, I see this little road that leads off the beach.
-
I think, well, can I make it?
-
Can I make it?
-
And about the time, you know, it that the the wave got curled over me and blotted out the sun, I'm in the shade of this wave, this massive wave in the dream.
-
And I'm thinking, oh, I'm roadkill.
-
And suddenly I'm on top of the wave.
-
And the wind is hitting me in the face, and this feeling of that switched from terror and fear to exhilaration and power.
-
I mean, I felt such power.
-
I was riding this massive wave looking below me, and all the beach houses just crumbling and being destroyed.
-
And I and then I woke up.
-
And of course, I felt like I'd been in a Maytag and rinse and spin cycle.
-
I mean, I didn't know what to do, I didn't know whether to be afraid or happy or what.
-
I mean, I was just disoriented.
-
And uh I and I started praying in other tongues.
-
And uh I I thought about uh uh a preacher back in the turn of the century where he said uh God's wave of glory will bring God's massive wave, end time wave, will bring the same, okay, here it is, the same wave that brings the glory brings destruction.
-
So, in other words, God has to have a judgment or a separation.
-
There is no harvest without a separation.
-
I mean, you know, the the wheat has to be separated from the chaff.
-
The wheat has to be separated from the tares.
-
That's in the Jesus told both of those.
-
I mean, he talked about the fish.
-
You had the big net and you pull the fit the net up, and and the fisherman does what?
-
He throws the bad stuff overboard and keeps the good fish.
-
There's gonna be harvest, there's gonna be those that God has earmarked to get saved, and there's gonna be those that have passed their time of visitation.
-
Not everybody is gonna get saved.
-
Not everybody.
-
You think Hitler's saved?
-
You think Stalin is saved?
-
I mean, people that are so evil that they murder millions of people, I mean, you know, we know where they are.
-
I don't have to be religious and say, oh, well, I'm praying for his soul.
-
No, I'm not.
-
I'm not praying for Obama.
-
Not one minute do I pray for him.
-
He's already missed it.
-
He's a deceiver.
-
I said that in 2007.
-
I had some people leave when I said that.
-
I said, he's a Muslim plant.
-
Boy, they got up and left right in the middle of my middle of my mess, went right down that aisle and out the door.
-
And I said, bye-bye.
-
It's not a popular message sometimes, you know, but what we when we get on God's side, it doesn't matter who it identifies us with or separates us from, we're on the right side of where we ought to be.
-
We're on the place where God can bless us to be a blessing.
-
See, I'm not just trying to get blessed for me, I want to be a blessing.
-
Really, this whole message is about the harvest.
-
Because judgment is about the harvest.
-
Does sin make God mad?
-
Yes.
-
But it's not like God says, okay, I'm gonna kill these people.
-
No, it's in the word, it's already been spoken, and when people get into sin and rejecting what's obvious.
-
I mean, Psalm 19, have you ever read Psalm 19?
-
Everybody that looks up in the sky knows they've preaches a message, the sun preaches a message.
-
I mean, everybody can see the sun coming out, and they have no excuse not to believe in God for a God in heaven.
-
No excuse.
-
So judgment, then it just, we have in order for there to be a harvest, you have to have a separation.
-
And so this word has already come forth.
-
It's not God sitting there and saying, I'm gonna kill this one, I'm gonna kill.
-
No.
-
When they get off of on the wrong side of God's word, then sin fills a cup until the cup has to be poured out, and separation happens.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
It's really, when you see it, now we're in the partial, we're in partial.
-
Jesus called it the beginning of sorrows or the beginning of birth pangs.
-
What is what is the earth doing?
-
It's bringing forth birth pangs.
-
What is it bringing forth?
-
It's bringing forth final judgment.
-
That's the birth pangs.
-
The contractions, the baby that the birth that the earth is is bringing forth is final judgment.
-
Well, we're not there yet.
-
We're in the preliminary stages, and we're 25 years further down the track than we were in 2001.
-
So uh this particular prophecy that I had on the 27th of September.
-
I wish I had a copy of it, but I don't.
-
I'm just speaking from memory.
-
I've read it before.
-
I looked all up and down all over my house trying to find that piece of paper.
-
But uh, if I do find it, I'll maybe I'll print it up and give it to you.
-
But um he uh he had told me uh in 2000, I went away to Galveston to pray about what was going to happen in 2001.
-
And uh and so you know he reminded me uh after that prophecy, and and he was connecting the dots for me because he was basically telling me, no, you didn't miss, you just misinterpreted.
-
No, you were warned, you just didn't know it was a warning.
-
So in 2000, I went to Galveston and I heard the Holy Ghost say, 2001 will be a year, a premier year.
-
That's what I heard in my in my in the still small and kind of in my heart, not audible.
-
It'll be a premier year.
-
And then I saw a vision 2001, comma, 2002, comma, dot, dot, dot.
-
So then I said out loud, oh, it's the first in a series of years.
-
And this will be a year of firsts.
-
And I saw Hollywood with the spotlights and the movie house and the limousines pull up with us, movie stars, old Hollywood, you know, and they'd go to their movie premiere.
-
That doesn't happen anymore, but back then it did.
-
And they come up and they go up on the red carpet and they're ushered into their seat to watch the screening, and it's called a movie premiere.
-
And uh and so I was preaching, I mean, I started preaching that in my church at little Seventh-day Adventist church that we were renting.
-
I started preaching that this is gonna be a great year.
-
It's gonna be the year first.
-
Yeah, the first time that the Twin Towers ever fell.
-
See, I was going on the positive side.
-
God was trying to warn me, hey, the clock is ticking.
-
You know, we are in Houston, and this is a this is a city of countdowns.
-
I don't know if you've ever watched a countdown.
-
I've watched a few.
-
I was at my parents' house in 1969 when one small step for man, one giant leap for man.
-
I watched the thing.
-
A lot of people don't believe it.
-
I believe it.
-
I know we landed on the moon.
-
I know we did.
-
What kind of a goofball are you to believe all these conspiracy theories?
-
We landed on the moon.
-
That's amazing.
-
Who who could do that?
-
Only a nation that loves God can do that.
-
I can tell you that right now.
-
They can copy it, but they didn't initiate it.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
So uh so I realize then that we're on this countdown.
-
And it's a countdown to the final judgment.
-
It's a countdown, really, to the rapture of the church.
-
Uh so uh some countdowns are interrupted.
-
I don't know if you've watched Paula 13, that movie, Tom Hanks again, you know, and they that that was a miracle.
-
They don't say it in the movie, but it was not it was not the brilliance of the engineers and none of that.
-
It was a God, and everybody was associated with that.
-
Most of them got saved.
-
I've met a couple of several guys that that were in the NASA full gospel businessmen's uh Bob Babola was one of them.
-
I mean, he was a scientist, and I mean he didn't believe in God, but buddy, he got saved after Apollo 13.
-
Because he knew only God could have brought those people back.
-
The movie doesn't give you that because Tom Hanks is an atheist.
-
But anyway, so um some countdowns are interrupted for technical reasons.
-
You know, they go around the room.
-
We're we're go, we're go, we're go for launch, we're go for launch.
-
All the all the stations in the launch center, they all are monitoring different things.
-
They're all monitoring, they've got their meters, they've got their little things, and they're monitoring different aspects of the spacecraft.
-
And this was, you know, this was uh, you know, this was a spacecraft that was designed to go on the moon.
-
He had a lunar lander on it.
-
They were supposed to go and land on the moon.
-
This was not the space shuttle.
-
And so, but uh, you know, they would interrupt.
-
If anybody said, oh no, I'm not ready, they would have to pause it.
-
And if they couldn't, if they couldn't solve that problem right then, then they scrub the launch.
-
Oh my goodness, you scrub the launch?
-
Are you kidding?
-
What do you have to do when the astronauts are already up there and you've got all that uh rocket fuel that's out there being uh you know loaded and ready to go and feed the the rockets and all of that kind of thing, you've got to shut that launch down.
-
I mean, I don't know how many million dollars that costs, and I don't know how hard that is.
-
I mean, they, you know, so they developed all kinds of ways to not have that happen.
-
And if I I don't fear, I don't, I'm not afraid, but I have a concern that if we don't obey God as the church of Jesus Christ, if we don't get a hold of what I'm talking about here today, and more audiences than just this one, this has got to get out there in a little bit greater fashion.
-
If we don't grab a hold of this, I'm concerned that God is just gonna push pause on the countdown.
-
And I don't want to live with this filth any longer than I have to.
-
I want to get a harvest out of it.
-
I can put up with filth as long as I know there's coming a harvest.
-
And I just I was reading, praying in the Holy Ghost, and God reminded me of James chapter 5.
James 5 chapter mention
-
And James is an end-time book.
-
In verse 7.
-
Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.
-
Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth.
-
And has long patience for it until he received the early and the latter rain.
-
You have a crop growing.
-
You don't get nervous, you don't say, Oh, I wonder if it's growing.
-
I wonder if my corn is gonna.
-
No, I mean you plant it, you do what you have to do, and then you can even go on a little time, you can take a week in, you might even be able to take a week.
-
I mean, it's gonna spit out, sit out there, and grow.
-
I mean, there's nothing.
-
You just be patient, but there's gonna be a time when the harvest is ripe.
-
Jesus said when the harvest is ripe.
-
When the harvest is right, immediately you put in the sickle.
-
There has to be at the time of harvest now.
-
I mean, you've been patient all along while it's growing.
-
It's just been growing and growing and growing and multiplying, growing, growing, and growing.
-
And and you're just really ready.
-
Jesus is ready.
-
The Father is ready for the harvest.
-
He loves the harvest, it's precious fruit of the earth.
-
He is his eye is on it, he's ready for it.
-
He until he received the early and latter rain, that's at the last.
-
At the last, that's gonna cause a maturing of the of the crop, and then it must be harvested then.
-
And so all your patience has got to get out, and you've got to have a spirit of urgency.
-
You've got to have a sense of urgency.
-
Why?
-
Because that crop, if you don't get out there and harvest it, it's gonna go to waste.
-
I grew up in South Texas.
-
I mean, they had million acres of grain, and they had to plant it in in pastures.
-
I mean, they couldn't plant the whole thing.
-
You'd plant this this field and you'd plant the next field, and what you'd do is you'd calculate the seed time, because we're in seed time.
-
And then when one field was mature, you'd let the combine harvesters go through there and mower there, chopping it up, and they've got headlights 24 hours a day.
-
They got trucks out there, and it's blowing the grain up on top of the trucks, the trucks hold it, and they drive over to Woodsboro, or they drive over to Gregory or wherever there's a grain elevator, and they unload it.
-
They weigh it first, and then they get paid, you know, they get paid by the pound or by the ton or whatever bushel.
-
And uh, but it's all time, it's 24-7 for weeks until that harvest is in.
-
There is an immediate, there's a sense of urgency.
-
We're listening I want you to be ready for an urgency.
-
We can't put this off.
-
Like Scarlet O'Hara.
-
Gone with the wind.
-
You ever watch that movie?
-
Rich little girl in the south, you know.
-
Has every little spoil rotten.
-
Oh, I just can't think about that today.
-
I'll think about that tomorrow.
-
No, we've got to think about it right now.
-
We've got to have a sense of urgency about the harvest.
-
It's coming.
-
We need to get prepared for it.
-
Are y'all with me now?
-
Glory to God.
-
Are you getting anything out of this today?
-
I'm leaving so many things out.
-
I don't have time to give you every little thing.
-
I mean, it's just a it's 30 years of stuff.
-
You know, God never talked to me about the Philippines.
-
I went there.
-
God never talked to me about India.
-
I went there.
-
God never talked to me about Newfoundland or Halifax or Canada or uh Georgia or you know, any of the other places I've preached since this church started.
-
Uh He never talked to me.
-
He visited me about America.
-
That's what he visited me about.
-
And right now we are focused, not that we're not focused on missions, we're supporting missions, but they're doing the greatest job.
-
They're doing what they need to do.
-
But we are doing what we need to do.
-
So uh there's some things that I uh have been looking at.
-
I heard a term the other day that just really rang true with me.
-
The medicalization of evil.
-
The medicalization of evil.
-
And so, really, like all for years, you know, they tried to sell us uh the fact that the baby is to fetus, it's not really a person.
-
But medical science finally made them out liars because we found out they're lying.
-
It's got little toes and little fingers, and it's got a little, you know, appendage or whatever that you can identify the gender, and uh it is a person.
-
It doesn't take faith to understand that that's not a fetus, it's not a blob, it's a person.
-
And so they had the medicalization of evil to justify abortion.
-
They had a Supreme Court ruling that let them do that, and the church did what?
-
Practically nothing.
-
Stay away from it.
-
Might offend somebody out here.
-
One of the women might have had an abortion and she'd get mad and leave the church.
-
Well, we've got to keep her here because she's contributing in the offering.
-
I mean, honestly, folks, we did nothing.
-
Let's face it.
-
And so now what do we got?
-
Well, we've got Massachusetts just a couple of weeks ago passed a law that says it's okay to kill a baby at the point of birth.
-
And in the same state, a jury said that this lady that strangled her three children.
-
It's okay.
-
She just she had postpartum, she just knew what she was doing.
-
Poor thing.
-
No, no compassion for the children of the terror and the pain that they suffered.
-
And it's not instant, folks.
-
It takes a while to strangle anybody to death.
-
I mean, it's horrible.
-
It's a horrible way to die.
-
And her husband called her in the middle of it, and she, oh, everything, everything's right.
-
And you let her walk because you think she's crazy?
-
No, she's full of the devil, but she's not crazy.
-
She belongs on death road.
-
Period.
-
But we don't have anybody that says that.
-
What why?
-
Because the church isn't saying anything.
-
We gotta speak up.
-
So there's some things that I want to leave with you today.
-
I'm at the transgender surgeries, mutilating children, medicalization of evil, COVID.
-
While we're talking about Fauci, what happened to Burks?
-
I'd like to see her put on the cat on the remember Burks?
-
Anybody?
-
She disappeared.
-
You know the lady with the$5,000 scarves that she used to be right there by Fauci every day, telling you all about COVID and how you had to be afraid and mask up and old get six foot away and all of that was book.
-
All of it, and I knew that.
-
We all knew that, right?
-
Some of you didn't know that, but we knew it.
-
I call them Ahab and Jezebel.
-
But anyway, where is she?
-
I mean, she ought to be called on the car, she ought to be indicted, both of them.
-
Anyway, so ever say medicalization of evil.
-
So, what do we do?
-
All right, let me give you three things about this spirit of urgency.
-
Number one, let's pray.
-
You know, let's not get so busy praying.
-
Working for God.
-
And I preach this all over the world.
-
I preach it.
-
And see, Asia is the place where you really have to preach this because the church in Asia, the preachers there, and the ministers there, they just get so busy, busy, busy, busy.
-
You get so busy working for God, you don't spend any time with God.
-
You've got to spend time with God in prayer.
-
Hangout.
-
Everything that I've ever had from God is when I was hanging out with him and just enjoying his presence, praying much in the Holy Ghost.
-
And making myself available.
-
Well, Pastor, I just don't have time.
-
Listen, you don't have time to be blessed, okay.
-
You don't have time to get on his side, because he's got a side about everything you're facing.
-
Everything you're thinking about, everything you're deciding to do, God already has a side, and the only way it'll be successful is if you get on his side.
-
And you're not going to find out what his side is if you just kind of slobber through life and pray in tongues for two minutes and oh God bless me, and my four and no more, and that's it.
-
That's not a prayer line.
-
So pray and get God's perspective.
-
Everybody say perspective.
-
See, right before COVID hit, we had this mighty power service, and God said it was the year, the greatest, 2020 was going to be the greatest year yet.
-
GYY.
-
And God had a perspective on that year.
-
For most Americans, it was the worst year yet.
-
Why?
-
Because that's when COVID blew up.
-
But he wanted us to think the different way.
-
He wanted us to walk in the blessing.
-
He wanted us to not get all taken away with all this fear and all of this stuff.
-
So it's the greatest year yet.
-
And he gave me three words perspective, power, and prominence.
-
Everybody say that.
-
Perspective, power, and prominence.
-
So perspective is when you pray, get God's perspective, find out what his side is, and get on it, no matter what it is.
-
Find out what his side is.
-
He will have something to say to you about your life and what decisions you're making.
-
And certainly going to have something to say about candidates.
-
Thank God we've got some candidates coming Tuesday.
-
It's exciting what God is using this church to do as a showcase.
-
It's exciting what uh what how much progress churches and local churches are making.
-
They're registering voters, they're they're speaking about, they're starting to speak out about these things.
-
So pray for God's perspective.
-
Everybody say, I'm going to find out God's perspective.
-
So you stay on his side and you can't lose.
-
Number two, pray and fellowship with God and receive his power.
-
I mean, when you hang out with God, you can't help but just be in filled with the Holy Ghost.
-
So that you have the greater one.
-
You have a uh you have an awareness that the greater one lives in you.
-
And I know I know you know that in your brain tissue, but we need to have an experiential uh knowledge of the reality that the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Godhead, the one who was present when the world was created, lives in us and lives in us.
-
We don't have any reason to back up.
-
But you've got to hang out with God for that to happen.
-
You can't just have a casual little, you know, you've got to spend a little time.
-
You've got to give him some time.
-
I'm just challenging you.
-
We're right down on the final countdown.
-
Let's not fail and let's not have an interruption in that countdown.
-
I just I can't think about that.
-
I'm just gonna keep telling you what I know we need to do.
-
And then finally know that the greater was in you and walk in his prominence.
-
You know, when you know that the Holy Ghost is in you, you don't ever go anywhere asking, you don't ever begging.
-
You, I mean, you what I I heard uh Nancy Dufresne say this the other day.
-
She was preaching.
-
Boy, I mean that lady could preach.
-
She's when I walk into a hotel room, I ain't begging, I ain't asking, I'm commanding, I've got the power of God on me, I've got the name of Jesus, I'm commanding disease.
-
Boy, I mean, she was she was just boy, boom, you know.
-
I just said, glory to God, preach it, sister.
-
That's what we've all got.
-
We've got to have the reality of the believer's ministry.
-
When the believer has this, the believer's ministry.
-
You don't have to have the even, you don't even have to have that many gifts of the spirit in operation.
-
You've got the power of God in your mouth and in your heart that you can speak and declare things.
-
Oh, come on, glory to God.
-
Move out, speak out, obey his promptings.
-
And let's get ready for the launch.
-
Let's not have any launch delays.
-
Come on, lift your hands and receive today.
-
Hallelujah.
