enjoy this week's message. Well, this morning,

I felt like the Lord put a word on my heart about

expectation. and what it means to partner with

God in a Kairos time or season. But before I

do that, we've got a couple of special things.

We had and found the recording from the very

first, minus the send -out service in July 15th

of 2001, we found the first prophetic word that

was given in August of 2001. by a gentleman named

Louie Hernandez, who I pastored with years ago

at Eugene Christian Fellowship. He was sent out

about six years prior to our sending, and he

pastored a church in Gresham, Oregon. And we're

going to let you listen to that word that was

given in 2001. Let's go ahead and play that.

The church will be characterized with the spirit

of Barnabas. This spirit is a healing and comforting

spirit. Barnabas was known as the son of encouragement.

You will help broken people. The mantle and spirit

of Life Bible Church is like that of Barnabas,

who was a man of wisdom, full of the Holy Spirit

and of faith. What type of house will you be?

You will be a Jesus Kingdom of God house, a missions

church. This spirit will abide in the church.

You will have the Holy Spirit's anointing to

go to the nations and preach the gospel. Approximately

two to four years or so, the house will grow

to 500. It would only remain there for a season

to train and disciple. Then another burst of

growth will occur. People will drive for miles

from all around because of the encounters with

Christ. You will not be just another little country

church. There is to be freedom with order. There

is to be generosity with faith. generosity demands

faith this house will be known for its music

and healing you are to begin looking for property

god is going to allow you to purchase a property

without starting a building program or going

into debt cash out cash out people will give

with joy after the land and building are purchased,

you are to take another offering where multiple

thousands will be collected. All of it is to

go to missions. Oh, no man anything except love.

The property is to be strategically located.

I see. I see it close to the freeway, accessible

to all local cities. I see it large with a tall

tower serving as a prayer tower looking out over

all the neighboring communities. I see a large

lit cross will be seen from the freeway. And

they will ask, what is happening here? Everything

will be done with excellence. First class. Everything

is to be handicap friendly to allow wheelchairs

to enter. Although they will leave them there.

Need to keep track of the miracles of the church.

for there will be many. The miracles of the house

will be the glory of the Lord. As a church of

faith, you need to be in faith. At times when

it appears nothing is happening, that is when

everything is happening. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Life Bible Church, be blessed in Jesus' name.

Amen. Wow. Now that was in 2001. We didn't have

a place to meet. He actually came to, met me

in a parking lot. He drove down from Portland.

We met in a parking, the old Burlington's parking

lot on Lancaster and Salem. And he gave me that

word. It was incredible. Just a very strong word

that came to us right from the beginning of what

God was speaking over the house. Now today, 25

years later, I invited Pastor Mark to come today

because he's going to be opening the prophetic

class on Wednesday night. We'll be teaching it

together, but he's going to do the opening class

on Wednesday. And I said, and if you can, can

you and your wife and... come early so that you

can be here at the barbecue. Let's just see what

the Lord would do. Maybe he would speak. And

he came to me yesterday. He said, Brad, I've

got a word for the church. And so I said, that's

awesome. I was believing somebody would have

something. And so would you welcome Pastor Mark

as he comes and shares. Hallelujah. Greetings.

Congratulations, Life Bible Church. 25 years.

Woo! Amazing. God bless you. What an honor to

be here. We love this church so, so, so much.

You know, I guess the theme of my prophetic word

here today is this, and I could sum it up in

this statement. You ain't seen nothing yet. Turn

to somebody and tell them, you ain't seen nothing

yet. It was just a couple weeks ago, or maybe

a week ago, I was actually asleep and had this

dream. And in the dream, the Lord was speaking

to me about the significance of 25. And 25 is

the silver anniversary. And he was speaking to

me in my sleep about silver. Silver is the medal

of redemption. It's the price of redemption.

And I believe the Lord is redeeming things that

has been lost. How many are thankful God redeemed

you? Amen. I believe that God's redeeming the

time and the money that has been lost, even to

the river, to situations and pressings and struggles.

He's redeeming marriages. He's redeeming health.

Come on. You need a miracle in your body. He's

gonna redeem your health back unto you in the

name of Jesus. This silver anniversary is something

powerful and significant. In Philippians chapter

three, verses 13 and 14, it says this. This is

a prophetic verse I feel is related to this moment

in this season of the house. The one thing I

do, forgetting what lies behind, we thank God

for the last 25 years, amen? But it's not about

that. It's about what's in front. Forgetting

what lies behind, straining forward to what lies

ahead. Press on toward the goal of the prize

of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. And

I just felt the Lord just stir in my heart. He's

calling you and I hear the Holy Spirit saying

unto you today that you will go. From glory to

glory and from strength to strength, new levels

of growth and new levels of influence. I heard

the Spirit of the Lord say that the Jehovah Jireh

is going to manifest His blessing and His provision

in this house. The Lord will even add to you

lands and buildings. And even in other regions

and nations, God will give you lands and buildings.

The Lord will open up his treasuries unto this

house. He will begin to provide and he will begin

to abundantly supply. The Lord said unto me that

the campus will expand and the vision will be

accomplished. Even within a short time, the Lord

is going to bless you. and cause you to become

debt -free. I heard the Lord clearly say Jehovah

Jireh is going to show up and provide this $2

million thing that you got going on. This is

a distraction. God's going to pay it, and you're

going to move on in what God has for your future.

The Lord, your provider, will do it. I even had

a vision of a tower on the campus. with a burning

fire atop it. It was like a medieval lighthouse.

And on top of the tower was this altar of fire

and flame, the fire of prayer and intercession,

like a spiritual lighthouse of spiritual fire

and anointing and warfare and worship that at

special times and seasons would be open 24 hours

a day to pray down the kingdom and the purpose

of God, not only in the region, but in the earth.

The Lord is going to raise up educational and

recreational places and buildings upon even the

campus that you own where the kingdom influence

of this house will be seen and felt in the region.

You will even train up leaders and teachers,

pastors and prophets and ministers to lead this

house into the future and to extend its influence

among the nations. The Lord is going to change.

the adversarial relationship with the governmental

authorities and powers. And we'll raise up Daniels

and Josephs and Esthers in your midst who will

advocate for you. And the Lord will cause you

to become favored with the regional and state

authorities. And you will have a unique voice

of advocacy for the body and church of Jesus

Christ in this region. And the Lord will give

you favor and give you favorable decisions. As

I began to even wait on the Lord, the Lord dropped

Proverbs 4, 18 into my spirit. It says this,

the path of the righteous is like the light of

dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until

full day. Your brightest days are in front of

you, Life Bible Church. The strongest days are

in front of you. The most glorious days are in

front of you. This is a time where God is revealing

his purpose. Finally, at that moment, the Lord

showed me a vision, much like in the book of

Ezekiel, a wheel had seven spokes to it. I called

up your pastor. I said, man, I just had this

incredible vision. I wanted to share it. He said,

come on over. I want to hear it. But in this

vision I saw in the hub was the, I saw the logo,

Life Bible Church, and out of the seven spokes,

one of the spokes was healing and miracles. The

other spoke was deliverance. People were being

set free. Another spoke was worship. Of course,

on Saturday night, or Friday night, we just had

such an amazing time. Prophetic ministry. Apostolic

leadership is another spoke. Ministry Training

Center, where leaders and ministers are trained

up to go into the world. And finally, Marketplace

Ministry. Those seven spokes is not limited to

that, but I just feel like those seven things

God is releasing in a powerful and incredible

way. Your best days are in front of you. No eye

has seen. Nowhere is heard, nor is it entered

into the heart of man, the things that the Lord

has prepared for Life Bible Church in this season.

God bless you. Wow. Wow. Lord, we receive that

word. Lord, strengthen every spoke. Bring them

into the fullness of what you want to do. God,

we're contending for that spoke this month of

healing and miracles. We're asking, Lord, significant.

Lord, of streams of healing. Lord, that would

be granted and released that a permanent well.

Lord, would come to this house. Lord, releasing

the gifts of healing to your people. Lord, as

you said, even Friday night, bringing a supernatural

authority by your presence and by your sovereignty.

Lord, that would do wonderful things in the outpouring

of your grace and presence. We're believing that

this is the time. Lord, all of the spokes, but

specifically starting with that one. In Jesus'

name, amen. Amen. All right. I'm just telling

you, this feels weird, preaching this far away

from everybody. It's great that you're here.

I want to just remind us of our, you can see

it up on the new banners over here. We talked

about it a couple weeks ago, what the Lord has

given us as a new mission statement, to do his

will in his power for his glory. Can you say

that with me? To do his will in his power for

his glory. Hebrews 13, one says it this way,

may the Lord equip you with all you need for

doing his will. And may he produce in you through

the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that

is pleasing to him. All glory and honor be given

to him forever and ever. Can you agree with that?

Now, as we're talking about that, I want to,

in the time that we have and there still is a

clock. I think they gave me a rip cord that I

had to be done by a certain time. So someone's

going to be my handler to get me off the stage

when that happens. But the reality is I can't

have a gathering like this as I was praying and

thinking about it. And just, I said, Lord, I

need a 25 year message, a celebration message.

I know I'm in a series. I know you've given me

thoughts and keep going and I've got set of notes,

but I just, break out of that a little bit and

try to ask God, okay, how can I speak to your

people with what you're doing right now? First,

I got to know what you're saying to me so that

I can say it to the people. And I felt like the

Lord highlighted something about the right now

season, the right now season. When vision comes

to people, wherever you're at, whatever your

vision is for your family, vision is for your

career, your job, your business, the ministry,

vision for the church, there has to come something.

And as being a church planter and starting several

things and being part of several church plants

and overseeing things, when there is vision,

with vision comes expectation. So part of the

reason that we're saying do his will in his power

for his glory is that you would begin to catch

the vision and expectation would begin to rise

in your heart that it's not just about the pioneering

team of 25 years ago. You now are the team. You're

the team. And there has to be expectation for...

Not only yourself in the house, but outside of

the house. There is a vision to do his will in

his power for his glory for every single one

of us to move in the region and move in the sphere

of where God has placed us. Now, to understand

that, we have to understand our right now season.

Right now is our... present time. It's present

circumstance. It's the present moment. And as

you can tell, if you listen to anything that

has three letters behind it, whether it's Fox

News, CNN, you name it, ABC, NBC, I'm telling

you, your right now vision is we're going to

hell in a handbasket. But that's not where we

should be getting our vision. I mean, literally,

that's part of the issue that's affecting the

Christian church is that we have actually spent

hours listening to three -letter agencies, not

only just news agencies, government agencies,

reports, and not actually allowing our eyes to

be fixed on what God has spoken to pull down

expectation of what he's actually saying. And

the reality is, in order to get expectation from

the vision that God has just released in part

and parcel, if you heard it Friday night, by

the way, it was incredible. It was one of the

breakthrough atmospheres and the prophetic words

that came and the atmosphere, what God was saying

he was doing, connected us, not just in Harrisburg,

but to nations of the world that he spoke over.

And in order to get that expectation, I must

understand expectation and that I must be ruthless.

I know that's a hard word to hear among Christian

people, but there is a ruthlessness that has

to come to your spirit. And it's not about evil.

It's about the ruthlessness of removing. pessimism,

negativity, and any outside voice that would

keep you from what God's word is actually saying.

And you actually have to be ruthless about it.

That's why the scripture says the violence. take

it by force. The kingdom of God, right, is apprehended

and the violent take it by force. It's not violence

in the natural. It's the violence of the ruthless

nature of faith that removes the doubt, removes

the pessimism, removes everything that tries

to bring a veil and a canopy so that you stay

only in hope rather than active in faith. There's

a big deal there because hope means that it's

going to happen someday. But faith moves it to

it's coming into my now. Romans 15, 13 says it

this way. Now may the God of hope fill you with

all joy and peace in believing that you may abound

in hope. In the power of the Holy Spirit. Amplified

says it this way. May the God of your hope so

fill you with all joy and peace believing. And

then he adds this. Through the experience of

your faith. That by the power of the Holy Spirit

you may overflow and bubble up with hope. Romans

13, 11 says this. And do this. Knowing the time

that now, can you say that with me? That now,

one more time, that now is high time to awake

out of sleep for now our salvation is nearer

than when we first believed. So what is expectation?

If expectation has to accompany vision, vision

is what God puts in our heart through the word

of the Lord, through his written word, and through

the very spoken word that he begins to encourage.

All through the scriptures, what did prophecy

come to do? Prophecy's goal was what? To encourage

people in the pursuing and in the building of

the things of God. The whole goal of prophecy

is to move you from the place that you're in

into what God has is destined for you and to

apprehend it. As we've heard the last couple

of weeks, and we're going to hear more over the

next weeks of various words that have been prophesied,

how those things just didn't sovereignly happen.

It was God's perfect will that they would happen,

but there had to be people that would grab onto

it and pull it and partner with it and take the

vision and live it. Because see, when we move

from the Old Testament, the Old Testament, God

did things by himself. That was one of the issues,

whether you recognize whether they were a true

prophet or a false prophet. If what they said

did not come to pass because God was singularly

responsible for moving it and making it happen,

then not only was the prophet a liar and to be

removed, but... God alone was sovereign to do

it. In the New Testament, it changed. He reveals

his sovereign will and then he decides, and I'm

not gonna do it for you, I'm gonna do it through

you. And that's why partnership in the spirit

and with his word is so important because now

he's expecting us by faith. Everything in his

kingdom moves by faith and partnership with him.

So expectation must arise. What is expectation?

Expectation is a strong desire to be filled with

anticipation and confidence in obtaining what

you've believed for and have been promised. Let

me read that again. Expectation is to have a

strong desire to be filled, a strong desire from

God to be filled with anticipation and confidence.

in the hope of obtaining what has been promised

and what you've been believing for. Abraham Lincoln

said it this way. Determine that the thing can

and shall be done, and then we will find a way.

Now that was a natural thinking, but it is a...

Core understanding, not that we name it, claim

it, blab it, grab it, fake it till we make it,

not that, but the reality of the declaration

of what God has promised by taking those words

and laying them up now in the present season

of the now. You see, that's why the now time

is so important. Because if you don't move into

the now, you've actually spoken to the spirit

of delay. Let me say that again. I'm kind of

just coming at us a little bit this morning by

faith and encouragement. When we don't take the

word and apply it to our now, we actually partner

with the spirit of delay. You see, the word now

means what? Present time. Under these present

circumstances. And now means absent from delay.

We have hindrances in our hearts that we must

remove. Remove the delay by changing our heart

attitude, right? What is delay? Delay means to

be stopped, detained, hindered for a time. caused

to be slower, to occur more slowly than normal,

being late. Oh, my Lord, there's a big spirit

of delay coming to church on Sunday morning.

Hallelujah. We got to break that. All right.

Being late or behind in movement, holding back,

interference, and postponement. Any of those

ringing a bell? Think about it. Delay. The Greek

definition of delay means to extend time unduly

with the implication. Are you ready for this?

This is the hard one because this is Bible. With

the implication of a lack of a decision. Every

time you hear the word delay from the scripture

perspective, I quoted you what Noah Webster and

a few of the Websters thought about delay in

the English. But when you get to the When you

get to the biblical definition, delay means there

can be outside forces, of course. Paul talked

about that Satan hindered, which is a form of

delay. But at the core of what God is dealing

with is our delay of a lack of decision based

on our heart. Hmm. 2 Peter 3, 9 says, and the

Lord is not slack, kerning. concerning his promise.

Habakkuk 2 .3, you know it, for the vision is

yet for an appointed time, though it tarries,

wait, because it will surely not tarry. We have

to remove what are some of the things that causes

us to One of the major sticking points that actually

cause us to not make a decision to believe the

word of God and to look at our present circumstances

and stay in that place is what? Kind of the poor

me attitude. Now listen, to say, if anybody is

to tell you that they've never had a poor me

moment, they're a liar. They're a liar. All of

us have had poor me moments. In fact, let's just

get it out of our spirit. Just turn to somebody

and say, oh, I'm so sorry. Just go ahead and

just kind of just, okay. All right, that's done.

That's done. Now that's it. That's your poor

me moment. Come on. Let me just quote Psalms

Psalms 40:17

40 verse 17. I am poor and needy. Yet. I love

how David does this. He gets right down into

the poor me category. I am poor and needy. Yet.

Yet what? Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are

my help. You are my deliverer. And then he moves

to this. Do not delay. Notice he was in a. stink

of a situation. I need help. I mean, if you,

I mean, come on, look at David's life and look

at the stuff. I mean, you talk about in -law

issues, son issues, wife issues, every issue,

wife issues, employer issues, I mean, employee

issues. You know, you give your life to these

people, then they want to stone you at the end.

And not that kind of stone. I'm talking about

picking up one and death. David experienced every

aspect of the poor me. And we should ask ourselves,

if we're gonna break off the spirit of delay

and we're gonna break off poor me, we should

ask, if we're really gonna get serious about

it, and we're gonna say, we're gonna embrace

the word of the Lord of what he's spoken over

the house, what he's spoken, because those words

over the house include every aspect that affects

your life and your part of that. Then you have

to ask yourself, all right, If I've been experiencing

delay, I need to ask a question of some people

that I trust around me. Number one, do I have

a reputation to get people to participate in

my circumstantial misery? Ask that question.

Am I always looking? to bring you into the misery

that I have been and have walked and have lived.

And when you see me, do you want to go, oh no.

Does that come out of me? That I keep rehearsing

where I'm stuck, what's failed, what's delayed.

Next thing, do I blame outside forces? for everything

that's beyond my ability to navigate. Number

three, do I let other people's choices keep me

from what has actually been given to me to receive

from the Lord? This is a big one. Do I actually

allow other people's choices to affect what God's

promised me? I'm not talking about moving outside

of wisdom and outside of the Bible and outside

of godly counsel. I'm talking about I just come

under the cloud of somebody else's poor me and

I come under the spirit of delay and just say,

well, maybe it's for another time. Or do I just

simply look at my life and go, well, I just don't

have the ability to keep my word. I don't have

the ability to follow through. I guess I'm inadequate

and I don't live up. And what does it do? It

digs me into a pit of self -pity and into further

delay. I got to remove this pessimism. I got

to remove this spirit of delay. Here's the definition

of a defensive pessimist. There's a pessimist

and then there's a defensive pessimist. One who

sets the bar of expectations so low while in

a continual state of worry, rehearsing all the

negative things that are going to happen for

them even crossing that bar. I'm pessimistic

that what is going to happen is going to be bad,

but I'll set the bar of faith so low and then

I'll find reasons to not step over it because

I could lose something by risk. Church, you realize

that in 2012 and 13, when we moved from the Wyatt

campus to what we built, it was a huge risk.

And those of you that are here with us that have

run that journey, it cost everything. And I'm

not here to rehearse all the negative, but the

issue is we had newspapers come against us. I

was called the Bhagwan Rajnoosh. You remember

that? The reality is because we were fighting

the two and three time planning commission of

what they were doing at that moment was illegal.

We had to hire attorneys. We had articles in

the paper. everything. You remember the whole

Bhagwan Rajneesh thing up there in Oregon was

just coming to a close. And so now we were the

group that was now taking over the city of Harrisburg.

What? I'm okay with the taking over. And I thought

it was, actually, I thought it was, I almost

got offended at it, but I thought, but if somebody

was that clever to call me the Bhagwan Rajnoosh,

that article is going to go in my archives. That

is amazing. We fought city hall. We fought permitting,

every single thing. And on top of it, We didn't

have any building plans because of the parameters

they put on us would not allow us to actually

take time to build plans and to properly get

bids from contractors. They gave us a year and

it was, quote, there must be significant improvement,

which meant the moment we left that meeting,

within one week, we were moving dirt by faith

and building as we go. And Steve and Maureen

Dorman, thank you so much for coming and helping

us do that. That was incredible. Guys, there

had to be what? A willingness to not say, poor

me. And we've done it in our history. If I look

through the 25 years of where we've been, we've

faced significant things that we in our natural

had the right to go. We just got to bow out.

Maybe it's not the right season. It's not the

right time. But God has always come along and

spoken to us to strengthen our faith. and to

cause us to move through barriers and challenges

that we didn't even know were going to be there.

I cannot get away from the fact that this river

thing, even though I do believe it was a great

distraction and it was a great hindrance of delay

and even the cost of it. I mean, to think of

it, I mean, we've got greater places than 2 .7

million to go on just a steel wall in the ground

trying to get things back to where we were. prophetic

word said it. Mark doesn't know this, but the

next stage of phase number two that we've been

praying about and contending for as an eldership

is gymnasium and classrooms for our younger,

the next generation, younger kids, a whole wing

that would include both a gymnasium on the property

and classrooms. And it's incredible. Then all

of a sudden, out of the blue, two and a half,

three years ago, this thing happens and takes

all of the seed money and the potential. How

many know that's a spirit of hindrance and delay?

And what we've got to begin to do this morning

is something has to come into our spirit and

say, okay, I am going to get off the fence with

my faith. And I am going to get out of the pit

of self -pity. Now listen. We have lots of examples

in the scriptures. I gotta hurry. We got lots

of examples in the scriptures. Listen, Genesis

37. So when Joseph came to his brothers, they

stripped him of his robe, the robe of many colors

that he wore, and they took him and cast him

in the pit. Listen, Joseph didn't ask for that

robe. The father made it and gave it to him.

You're a Joseph. We're a Joseph. Ones that have

dreams, ones that operate in the prophetic, ones

that know times and seasons. Let me tell you

something. There is always going to be an application

to put people in the pit that actually have favor

placed upon their lives. And the mantle of favor

does not just mean blessing of material things.

It actually means responsibility for the kingdom

because God is actually moving a group of people

who will believe to open doors in another season

for another generation. That's what Joseph was

born for. How about Jeremiah? And they took Jeremiah

and they cast him in the dungeon or what we would

know as a cistern pit. It means a man -made pit

to hold water. And they let Jeremiah down into

the pit. And when Jeremiah went into the pit,

there was no water, only mire. And Jeremiah sank

in the mire. I'm talking about getting out of

the mire. But you've got to recognize if you've

been in the pit. You've got to recognize. I could

say our church for the last season or two, at

least in the last year or two, has been in a

pit. Spirit of hindrance, spirit of delay, spirit

of trying to make us what? Irrelevant, even trying

to move us off the map. How about Daniel? Because

of his prayer, because of his faithfulness to

God, he was brought out and thrown into the pit

of the lion's den. Remember the words of an evil

king that hadn't totally given himself to God.

He said, oh, Daniel, may the God of whom you're

serving continue to deliver you. Let me tell

you something this morning. The word of the Lord

comes to break off a spirit of delay, a spirit

of hindrance, a spirit of self -pity, a spirit

that has put you or me, our faith, our mindset

out of the pit. And from the words of an evil

king, may the Lord who you serve deliver you

continually. On the road of 25 years to 25 more.

May the God of who we serve deliver us continually.

Now here's the great part. I researched this.

This is amazing and you should do the same. After

every person that was thrown in the pit that

we have, Joseph, Jeremiah, Daniel, and the list

goes on. Every pit experience. When those who

were tested through the pit were eventually came

out of the pit, they were approved by God, and

by God's approval, they always ended up with

what? New authority, new territory, and new opportunities.

I'm declaring to you this morning by the word

of the Lord and what has been prophesied in the

last three days that God is extending to us new

territory, new authority, and new opportunities.

You see, in order to actually move with the spirit

of expectation and in this... this new territory

or these new opportunities or this new authority,

you've got to understand that there has to be

a go point. A go point is a decision time. It's

that point of, all right, go, execute it. Execute

the plan. The go point. If new horizons are going

to come, And we're going to get those from the

life that God's promised us. The truth is we

must lift our expectation and choose to decide

to go with God's vision, live the mission, and

stretch for the goal. Now, I had these notes

written before Mark came to me and said his scripture

was in Philippians about forgetting what was

behind and stretching forth to the high calling

of God. If you understand this, God works with

not just Kronos time, which is our calendar,

our tracking of time, which I'm doing right now,

which is evil. But God works with another time.

God works with what we would call Kairos time.

And Kairos time, please hear me, Kairos time

for the most part is relegated. to seasons. Kairos

time isn't just about, there are times where

it was the month, the day, the year, God moved

in that way. But when we look to the New Testament,

most of Kairos, most of God's overwhelming sense

of his calendar, of his nature partnering with

his people, always comes down to a season. Why?

Because he moves it past our ability to shoot

just simply for a day. Usually when a day, like

there was a day Jesus chose out of all the days,

or God the Father chose out of all the days in

human history, the governments that were on the

earth, the timing of the Jews, the timing of

the Roman culture, how the scriptures would be

written, and those that would be born for that

day, that's the day Jesus was chosen to be birthed

and sent. There's those sovereign days that God

has chosen. But now in the New Testament, the

Bible gives us the hint that there are seasons

of days. Now, we have to have a go point. That

go point needs wisdom and prayer. It needs the

weighing of the cost. But it must translate into

what? Forward movement into influence and history

of changing something for the greater. Think

about Moses. Exodus 14, fear not, stand firm,

see the salvation of God. He will work for you

today. The Egyptians who you've seen, you shall

not see anymore. Folks, that's called a go point.

Deuteronomy 20. Hear, O Israel, today your drawing

near for battle against the enemy. Let your heart

not be faint. Do not panic. Do not fear. Do not

dread them. For the Lord your God, he goes with

you to fight against your enemies and to give

you the victory. Deuteronomy 9. Chapter 9, verse

1. You're crossing over the Jordan today to dispossess

a nation greater and mightier, cities that are

fortified to heaven, people great and tall, sons

of the Anakim. Know therefore today that he who

goes before you is a consuming fire. He will

destroy them, subdue them. You shall drive them

out and make them perish quickly as the Lord

has promised you. That's a go point. How about

this one in the New Testament? Luke 19, 5. When

Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said

to Zacchaeus, hurry and come down. I must stay

at your house. There was a decision Zacchaeus

had to make at that very moment. Now, 2 Corinthians

6, 2. He says, in an acceptable time, I've heard

you. Now is the accepted time. That's a kairos,

season. The clearest one is 1 Thessalonians 5,

1 Thessalonians 5:1

verse 1. But concerning times, which is the Greek

word chronos, and seasons, kairos. What's God

saying? You have to recognize the time you're

in in a natural present now. and be aware of

the Kairos season that is awaiting your decision.

Kairos designates the content and the quality

of time. It's a moment made significant by a

God encounter for a specific season, for an appointed

time, or here it is, an opportune time. kairos

means what it's a period of divine opportunity

galatians 6 10 puts it this way therefore as

we have opportunity you know what that word opportunity

there our english word is opportunity therefore

as we have kairos let us do good to all especially

those of the household of faith How about Philippians

4 .10? I rejoiced in the Lord greatly. Now your

care for me has flourished again, for you surely

did care, but you lacked opportunity. The word

opportunity, kairos. You lacked the season of

divine opportunity. Opportunity then what? Is

what? A favorable juncture in circumstances,

a good and divine opening for advancement or

progress. Are you hearing what I'm saying here?

It's a favorable juncture of circumstances for

an opening of advancement or progress. Noah Webster

says it this way. Fundamentally, favorable timing

combined with supporting circumstances converge

to suitable conditions that enable actions toward

desired goal. basic definition of opportunity

is what? It operates as a dynamic force shaped

by what? Preparation, perception, and initiative.

Preparation, perception, and initiative. That

is what gets us set up for a divine season. And

opportunities present themselves in our life.

From the scripture perspective, an opportunity

is what? It's a window or a door. It's not actually

something that is guaranteed. It's guaranteed

if you'll actually see it, move into it, and

take action. Now listen, this happens almost,

not every Sunday, but close to every Sunday.

Why? What happens when we get into the presence

of the Lord? Let me just say how this plays out.

When we move into the presence of the Lord and

we create by your worship and prayer and calling

on the presence of the Lord and honoring him,

what happens? The atmosphere of the... Presence

of God comes into the room. And what happens?

Doors and windows open are there. And when we

see him by faith, we do what? We move then musically.

We move then prophetically. And what we didn't

know when we first came to the service now presents

itself as an opportunity to hear about a divine

word that God is releasing. It happens every...

Let's just say every other Sunday for the sake

of not exaggerating. But the principle is that

also happens in your life. That God has set divine

opportunity. He set a Kairos season. I believe

that God is setting a Kairos season for this

next time frame. And I'll tell you why this is

significant. I don't adhere to the Jewish calendar

as something that I ardently follow. But I follow

it because I believe in the principle of what

God does. This is what's significant to me. Friday

night was the beginning. Friday night at sunset

was the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. That festival

lasts two days. It ends tonight. So between Friday

and Sunday, it was what? It was the beginning

of the new year. It was the beginning of the

Jewish calendar of a new season. It was now followed

by 10 days of repentance to move to the place

of the atonement to celebrate God, setting off

what was done. the year before, and moving on

a fresh slate. Now we know that Jesus fulfills

all of it, but the reality of it, I thought it

was so significant. The reality that Friday night,

the beginning of the beginning of the year, we

started with what? We started with two hours

of worship. no interruptions, just honored to

God for 25 years and saying, Lord. And God began

to speak out of that about a new season and new

things that were coming, not just by Pastor Mark.

It was popping up all over in the church. Here

we are now celebrating the last day of Rosh Hashanah.

What are we saying? We're saying, listen, I don't

know about you, but I'm going to ask you to do

something this morning. Yeah, come on up team.

This is the, the handlers are coming to get me.

So I'm going to ask you to do something in the

spirit of 10 days until the atonement. I'm not

asking you to fast. We're here to celebration,

but I'm asking you to pick up this spirit of

repentance and fresh expectation that you would

guard your heart and your mind for the next 10

days. that you would actually say, I am not gonna

allow a spirit of negativity. I'm not gonna allow

poor me. I'm gonna move into the preparation

of my heart to take these words, to take the

word of the Lord that came today, and I'm going

to build that, and I'm gonna focus on what God

is saying to our house, to our region, to the

nations that we're to affect, and I am going

to contend for 10 days to break the cycle. of

actually not moving into self -pity and into

any form of delay. Those habits, those things

that have stuck me, Lord, I'm asking you to forgive

me, and I'm choosing through preparation, initiative,

and action to break those off, and we're going

to move into a new Kairos opportunity and season

together as the church, Life Bible Church. Can

we do that? I'm going to pray for us. Let's do

that. Father, in Jesus' name. Lord, we come today

and we are so grateful for the word of the Lord

that came. Lord, the prophetic words and the

words right from Scripture that you give us kairos

seasons. I'm reminded in the book of Acts in

chapter 3 when it says that times and seasons

from the presence of the Lord would bring refreshing.

Those seasons actually is the word kairos. that

times and seasons, opportunities, divine opportunities

to have refreshing. Lord, this is about us contending.

For the filling, as we read in our new verse,

Lord, that is our mission statement, that the

God of all hope would fill us with everything

we need. We begin to reach into the filling power

of the Holy Spirit. We begin to reach in to the

conquering power of faith to contend for the

promises that have been given to us individually

and corporately. And God, we ask now as we...

Enjoy one another's fellowship and food and the

celebrations like you have always designed with

your people. Days of celebration. Lord, that

this would be a marking day. Not just a day of

feasting. but a day that would bring an impartation

of truth and the spirit of faith that would cause

our expectation to rise. I ask that now over

every person. Let faith arise. Let expectation

arise. For the building, Lord, of the wells of

healing and miracles and every spoke that you

have shown that we are to steward as a regional

hub, Lord, sending these truths, around the world

for your glory. Let expectation come and let

indecision and delay be broken in Jesus' name.

We love you and we bless you, Jesus. Let us do

this all for your glory, not ours, in Jesus'

name. Amen. Come on, just give the Lord a praise
