  1. Beloved Shalom and God bless you for connecting with us

  2. here today for our morning glory devotion. We thank God

  3. for this opportunity to share in fellowship together in the word.

  4. Let us pray. Lord Jesus, we thank you for your

  5. word ever so sweet and true. We pray that you

  6. open our hearts to walk in faith and practice every

  7. word that we hear today. In Jesus' name, Amen. Let's

  8. take our confession together from Joshua 1, verse 8. This

    Joshua 1:8

  9. book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth.

  10. But I shall meditate in it day and night, that

  11. I may observe to do according to all that is

  12. written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,

  13. and then I will have good success. Amen. The topic

  14. for today's episode is God says you are valuable. God

  15. says you are valuable. Written by Miss Jessica Aholu. Our

  16. scripture readings will be taken from Luke chapter 12 verse

    Luke 12:24

  17. 24 and Luke chapter 15 the verse 4 and 5.

    Luke 15 chapter mention

  18. Luke chapter 12 verse 24 Consider the ravens. They do

    Luke 12:24

  19. not sow or reap. They have no storeroom or barn.

  20. Yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you

  21. are than the birds. Luke chapter 15, verse 4 and 5.

    Luke 15:4

  22. If a man has a hundred sheep and one of

  23. them gets lost, what will he do? Won't he leave

  24. the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search

  25. for the one that is lost until he finds it?

  26. And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry

  27. it home on his shoulders. May the Lord add his

  28. blessing to the reading of his word. Amen. God says

  29. you are valuable. In the world we live in today,

  30. when someone asks, how much are you worth? Most of

  31. the time, they are talking about money. They are asking

  32. about your net worth, your possessions, your salary, your business,

  33. or the things you have achieved. For example, if you

  34. google how much a celebrity is worth, you may see

  35. millions of dollars. And we often use these things to

  36. determine whether someone is successful or valuable. But that is

  37. not the kind of worth God is talking about. Your

  38. value to God is not determined by your bank account.

  39. It is not determined by your job or academic achievement,

  40. your appearance or social status or the things you own.

  41. Your value is not your net worth. To God, you

  42. are a priceless treasure. God took his time to create you.

  43. He knew you before you knew yourself. He created you

  44. intentionally and he has a purpose for your life. No

  45. matter what your circumstances look like today, they do not

  46. change your value in God's eyes. Beloved, sometimes because of

  47. the mistakes we have made, the things we have gone

  48. through or the way people have treated us, we begin

  49. to believe that we are not worthy of love. We

  50. may feel forgotten, rejected, or insignificant. But Jesus gives a

  51. different picture of our worth. When you read the book

  52. of Luke, Jesus gives us different parables that helps us

  53. understand how valuable we are to God. Think about the

  54. story of the lost sheep. The shepherd had many sheep,

  55. but when one went missing, He did not simply say,

  56. I still have enough. He went looking for the one

  57. that was lost. This is how God sees us. When

  58. we go astray, when we make mistakes, when we wander

  59. away from him, God does not simply forget about us.

  60. He comes looking for us. He wants to rescue us

  61. and bring us back home. And when he finally finds us,

  62. there is rejoicing. When you read the story of the

  63. prodigal son, the son made wrong decisions. He wanted to

  64. live life on his own terms. He left his father's

  65. house and wasted what he had. But when he finally

  66. came back to his senses and decided to go back home,

  67. his father was waiting. The father did not say, You

  68. made your own choice. Now suffer the consequences. Instead, he

  69. welcomed him. Beloved, this shows us something beautiful about God.

  70. Even when we make wrong decisions, God does not stop

  71. loving us. When we realize that we have gone too

  72. far and decide to come back home, our Father is

  73. ready to receive us. God loves us when we are undeserving.

  74. And ultimately, we see the greatest demonstration of our value

  75. through Jesus Christ. God was willing to give his son

  76. for us. So when you begin to question your worth,

  77. remember this, you are valuable because God says you are valuable.

  78. You don't have to prove your worth through money. You

  79. don't have to prove your worth through achievements. You don't

  80. have to become someone else before God loves you. You

  81. are His creation. You are His child. You are worth pursuing.

  82. You are worth rescuing. You are worth loving. You are

  83. valuable to God. And if God values you that much,

  84. then you should never allow the world to convince you

  85. that your life has no worth. You are a priceless

  86. treasure in the eyes of your Father. Amen. God bless you.

  87. Let's take our memory verse for today from Psalm 139

    Psalms 139:14

  88. verse 14. Psalm 139 verse 14. Thank you, making me

    Psalms 139:14

  89. so wonderfully complex. Your workmanship is marvelous. How well I

  90. know it. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex.

  91. Your workmanship is marvelous. How well I know it. Amen.

  92. Let us pray. Father, we thank you that we are

  93. fearfully and wonderfully made in you. We thank you that

  94. we are valuable. Help us to recognize and walk in

  95. this value that you have given to us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  96. God bless you for connecting and listening in to today's episode.

  97. We know that this is a wedding season for you.

  98. We encourage you to connect for more spirit-filled episodes of

  99. our Morning Glory devotion. Beloved Shalom and have a blessed day. Amen.
