-
As we begin today, would you take 30 seconds to first quiet your heart and mind before God?
-
Maybe tell the Lord you're here to meet with Him, that everything else is on hold while you meet with Him.
-
Galatians 5.13 calls for us to serve one another humbly in love.
-
Love often looks ordinary.
-
It looks like helping without being asked, listening when someone needs to talk, or choosing to serve or show up without expecting anything in return.
-
These simple moments often become some of the clearest ways we reflect Jesus.
-
Start off today with praise and gratitude to God.
-
Thank God for the many ways he faithfully serves and provides for you.
-
Reflect on his steady care in your daily life.
-
Maybe list out or tell him all the ways you see and recognize his hand and care.
-
It may be something small that no one else sees.
-
Invite Him to help you serve with joy, knowing that every act of love matters to him.
-
This is true worship to God.
-
Maybe you know someone personally who has helped you or a family member.
-
Maybe you yourself are caregiving for a friend or family member who is recovering from something or needs the extra attention.
-
Maybe you have your children who depend on you all day, every day for everything.
-
Lift up those who are laying down their lives in this way, especially if that is you.
-
Cover them, lift them up, see them in a way that translates to them personally.
-
You are so good, God.
-
We worship you today with our words and with our lives.
-
Let us catch and recognize those in our world who need extra attention and love today.
-
Amen.
