And today, as we open up your word, we're asking
-
that your spirit be the guide. Introduce us to
-
truth. Change our trajectories. Shift our minds.
-
Focus us. And remind us that you are a faithful
-
father. We are not forgotten. We are not forsaken.
-
But we are covered. And so we just thank you
-
for this day. In your precious name, I pray the
-
name above all names. Y 'all say with me, Jesus.
-
Amen. Well, listen Look at your neighbor say
-
hey neighbor Welcome to week four of here is
-
home You know, we started this journey declaring
-
order in the house right that that we were going
-
to establish some places that we weren't gonna
-
be We're not gonna be positioned in places that
-
we weren't postured in and so we declared home
-
to marriage is home to addresses home to churches
-
home to city but understanding that a double
-
-minded man is unstable in all of his ways and
-
you can't expect us receive wisdom from God when
-
you haven't declared where home is and So we
-
started that journey. So I pray that you've been
-
declaring some places home Anybody been declared
-
some places home? We've been talking about no,
-
there's some promises that are also home Like
-
i'm home to what god has promised and i'm going
-
to pivot i'm going to battle from right here
-
Then we talked about speaking again, right? We
-
have to be home to speaking being speaking believers
-
I don't know when as believers we started believing
-
that our confession didn't matter that our words
-
didn't matter But i'm here to remind you your
-
words still matter your confession still has
-
place and the things you speak They do establish
-
things can never say hey neighbor what you speak
-
will establish things in your life amen amen
-
and then of course last week we talked about
-
being home again to know we got to go some places
-
that we can't be stagnant believers but we have
-
to receive that there are some places you gonna
-
have to go say hey neighbor there's some places
-
that you gonna have to go and today I'm extremely
-
excited because I'm here on assignment to stir
-
up your faith right because when you go you're
-
going because there's something that you are
-
home to again and it's gonna sound strange because
-
many of us wouldn't say that we don't believe
-
in this, but true for the matter is our actions
-
don't line up with what we are doing if we do
-
believe. But when you are, check this out, positioned,
-
which many of us are, we're positioned to believe
-
in the supernatural. We're positioned to believe
-
in miracles, but we're not postured to receive
-
them. What does position mean? We're in relationship
-
with the Father. You're in relationship with
-
the father. You know what he can do. You're just
-
not posturing the way to see him do it in your
-
life But it's time for us to be home again looking
-
they say it's time to be home to miracles signs
-
and wonders The Bible tells us that miracle signs
-
and wonders they follow the teaching of the word
-
And so as believers, we shouldn't just be positioned
-
in that truth We should be postured ready to
-
receive it in our lives like God. I don't know
-
what to do I may not have the full plan, but
-
you are a god of miracle signs and wonders that
-
you are a god who still Performs today. We've
-
been talking about the last few weeks that we
-
have to see that the same God we're reading about
-
in this Bible is the same God who's alive and
-
living today. The same God who was there, who
-
knocked Saul off of his horse and turned him
-
into Paul is still here today. The same God that
-
spoke to Ezekiel that these dry bones are going
-
to live, he is still here today. The God of the
-
Bible is the God of your life. And if he performed
-
miracle signs and wonders, then he performs them
-
now. Cuz some y 'all been wondering how am I
-
gonna get this grave to turn to some glory? Well,
-
let me tell you something you serve a God who
-
still performs miracles Look at your neighbor
-
again says your God performs miracles We have
-
to be home to that again and Understand this,
-
you know, I know many people they see me right
-
I'd say listen you gotta stay I never left here
-
Right, so, you know, I'm 40 years old. I got
-
saved when I was five, but I've been here for
-
35 years I'd never left What does that mean?
-
I've seen a lot of things seen a lot of journeys
-
and Understand how over time your heart can grow
-
sick to certain things God has said I've seen
-
things be confessed. I've been seen hands stretched.
-
I've been seen it all And so there's places where
-
you can grow a sense of you become apathetic,
-
right? You can become desensitized to things
-
that you should never give lose hope of and There
-
are seasons that as a believer we like well I
-
don't know if I should be believing God for for
-
a miracle or I should be just going through these
-
steps y 'all remember that and then there was
-
a season we say eliminate all steps y 'all remember
-
that season We didn't hurt a lot But there's
-
certain things we should never lose hope in And
-
one of those things is the supernatural power
-
of God God said this to me And he says we don't
-
he said we don't want to be the church that knows
-
him personally Yet limits him supernaturally
-
That we don't want to be the church that knows
-
him personally yet limits him super Naturally
-
Depending on how well y 'all receive my intro
-
determine what my title is gonna be I Had two
-
titles right the first one was see the glory
-
of God I Like the second one better It's a little
-
more controversial that's probably why I like
-
it But what to do when you need a miracle What
-
to do when you need a miracle I Think I say this
-
because we've been standing in this truth right
-
to every promise there's what church a path So
-
every promise there is a path, but we know our
-
God does miracle signs and wonders and so there
-
has to be path to receive in a miracle What is
-
the path to receive in a miracle? How do I posture
-
myself? Pastor Brian for miracle It's a good
-
question to answer right and by the power of
-
the Holy Ghost we go answer it today And so go
-
with me the John chapter 11 I'll be reading in
John 11 chapter mention
-
the New King James Version today, simply because
-
it's the largest Bible I have. Y 'all see this?
-
This phone is big. I said, listen, I've been
-
reading out that ESV. I'm gonna have to get a
-
big font ESV. I can't be up here with the one
-
I had. Words are getting distant. Certain things
-
did change at 40. I don't care what y 'all say.
-
Ain't nothing pastor Brian. Oh, it's some It's
-
for show some I'm checking the brightness on
-
my TV like is it But here's the thought what
-
you're taking this what do we say we do not want
-
to be the church that knows him personally, yet
-
limits him supernaturally. So we're actually
-
going to start at the end of this. Let's go to
-
verse by the grace of God. We're going to make
-
it through this whole chapter. And so y 'all
-
stick with me. It's a big one. No, actually,
-
you know, we're going to try to do the first
-
44 verses, right? And so but they read well,
-
they read smooth, so we should be all right.
-
So go to verse 38. We'll start verse 38. It sets
-
up everything really well. It says um then Jesus
-
again groaning in himself came to the tomb It
-
was a cave and a stone lay against it Jesus said
-
take away the stone Martha The sister of him
-
who was dead said to him Lord by this time there
-
is a stench for he has been dead for days. Jesus
-
said to her, did I not say to you that if you
-
would believe you would see the glory of God?
-
What are we being introduced here as we start
-
this journey on what to do when you need a miracle?
-
The truth is every promise of God is inseparable
-
from believing in God. Every promise from God
-
is inseparable from believing in God. Jesus worse
-
or worse, did I not say to you that if you would
-
believe you would see the glory of God? simple
-
as that sounds one of the things that posture
-
us for receiving a miracle is believing that
-
he came I told you that if you would believe
-
you will do church you would see the glory of
-
God what is the glory of God that's God's power
-
made known amongst men So that's God's power
-
made manifest, God's power made tangible, God's
-
power made perceivable, God's power made touchable.
-
It's when God's power actually invades Earth's
-
atmosphere. I'm saying this because it's the
-
manifestation of what God has said It's the realization
-
of what God has said, right? The glory of God
-
isn't something that still exists in the spiritual
-
realm It's when the spiritual realm has invaded
-
this natural world and he says I told you that
-
if you would believe you would see me touch your
-
world That if you would believe you would see
-
me change your world. I'm gonna say it again,
-
because there's not much more to say. That's
-
as simple as it starts. That if you would believe
-
you would see God touch your world, change your
-
world, shift your life. How, Pastor Brian? Believe.
-
I said this last week, it's with those same framework
-
that you were saved, that if you would believe
-
that he died and rose again, you would be what?
-
Saved. It was a belief followed by a confession
-
and then receiving took place. Belief, confession.
-
Receiving we're seeing that same framework when
-
he's talking about seeing the glory of God believe
-
confess and what? receive Lucas never said neighbor
-
believe Speak that thing and receive it is so
-
Now obviously we're jumping in at the end We're
-
jumping in at the end of this account where Jesus
-
is in the midst of This miraculous moment At
-
this point they are shocked at the turn of events
-
that has taken place They didn't imagine it would
-
come to this They didn't imagine it would have
-
gone this far their request earlier on was for
-
Jesus to come heal a sick man Well, as you know,
-
Jesus had delayed his arrival. So about time
-
he showed up, the man was dead. But Jesus had
-
already told him from the beginning that this
-
had happened for what? The glory of God. And
-
so we're jumping in at the moment where Jesus
-
is sitting at the tomb now because he's showing
-
up not on their time, his time. And that's one
-
thing we have to realize that God may not be
-
on your time But he's always on time that when
-
you start believing for miracles You got to realize
-
miracles always show up on time not before time
-
not after time But on time that a miracle shows
-
up right when the miracle needs to be made known
-
because timing shouldn't shake your believing.
-
Why? Because miracles show up when the miracle
-
needs to show up. And so I keep believing until
-
the time is right. When you just have to tell
-
yourself, remind yourself self, you don't know
-
when the time is right. We think we know, but
-
we don't know. We don't know. You have no idea.
-
Because if the time was right, the miracle would
-
be done. and I wait to receive it. But he says,
-
I love this. Now we're gonna jump into some of
-
these details. He says, then Jesus again groaning
-
in himself came to the tomb and it was a cave
-
and a stone lay against his. Jesus said, take
-
away the stone. What I love so much about this
-
is as Jesus is going through this account, you'll
-
notice something very particular. Every physical
-
thing he asked them to do, every spiritual thing
-
he did. Every physical thing he asked them to
-
do, every spiritual thing he did. He asked them
-
to move the stone. Well, what was the stone?
-
The stone was blocking where Lazarus was laying.
-
Jesus was going to do the raisin they had to
-
move the stone so he could come out There was
-
a stone in the way But Jesus's assignment wasn't
-
to move the stone his assignment was to raise
-
the dead Their assignment was to move the stone
-
his assignment was to raise the dead Sometimes
-
your assignment is to move the stone. His job
-
has always been to raise the dead The question
-
is have you moved your stone? He will always
-
take care of the spiritual. The question is,
-
have you taken care of the natural? Many people,
-
the stone you're dealing with today is belief
-
that he still can. Stones are mindsets. Stones
-
are people. Stones are acts of obedience. Stones
-
are assignments he's told you to do. Have you
-
moved your stone? Look at them say, hey neighbor,
-
is there a stone in the way? stone in the way
-
the miracle worker is present he's on scene he's
-
he's there he has the power but he ain't touching
-
your stone Martha the sister of him who was dead
-
said to him Lord by this time he shows thank
-
you Check this out verse one. They took away
-
the stone who took away the stone They who's
-
they they are those who did not believe It's
-
amazing how God will ask you to keep doing things
-
even when you've lost belief that it can actually
-
be We talked about this last week that he doesn't
-
want us peripheral to his will. He wants us integral
-
to his will. That he intentionally put them in
-
the middle of what was happening. Even though
-
they halfway believed it could be. Why do you
-
say it's Pastor Brian? Because a lot of our excuses
-
won't change his direction. Man, I just don't
-
think it's gonna work out. That didn't change
-
what he said. I just don't see how this is purposeful,
-
that don't change what he says. Hey, you know
-
he stinks in there, right? I don't care what
-
he looks like now. Did you not hear what I said?
-
I don't care about the present condition of the
-
problem. That's what he's speaking. You think
-
that there's factors that lead to me changing
-
what I came here to do. But I'm not changing
-
what I came here to do, regardless of the condition
-
I found you in when I got here. It doesn't matter
-
how long he's been in there. It doesn't matter
-
how long you've been in what you've been in.
-
When he shows up to your door, your response
-
is, here I am. Come on, y 'all gotta preach with
-
me. I'm trying to... Stack these things one week
-
after another right y 'all gotta preach with
-
me that when he shows up to your door The you
-
don't start telling him about how hard it is
-
How hard it's been how difficult it is how many
-
objects are in the way? How bad their attitude
-
is how much you can't see the difference when
-
he shows up to the door the response is here
-
I am Lord Look at your neighbor, say, hey, neighbor.
-
We got a new response. When Jesus speaks, it's
-
not who is that. It's here I am. Then he took
-
away the stone from the place where the dead
-
man was lying. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and
-
said, Father, thank you that you have heard me
-
and I know that you always hear me but because
-
of the people who are standing by I said this
-
that they may believe that you sent me because
-
of the folks standing by now y 'all know me I
-
don't like to talk much about people because
-
people aren't your problem would be remiss if
-
I didn't tell you Jesus loves an audience he
-
loves a good audience he loves a good audience
-
he loves to knock out as much disbelief at once
-
as possible so sometimes the timing ain't right
-
because the audience hasn't assembled Sometimes
-
the timing isn't right because the audience has
-
yet to assemble Like God is waiting on not just
-
for you to be delivered because you should already
-
be living like you free Because who the Sun says
-
free is free indeed. So we shouldn't be living
-
captivated captured our According to our conditions
-
anyway, you should already be living free regardless
-
of what you have received or not received Your
-
lifestyle shouldn't change based upon what you
-
have or don't have you have all things in him
-
So you get what I'm saying And so God is not
-
looking at you at a state of you don't have and
-
I think it's important for us to realize that
-
because we're like man I need this God doesn't
-
see you as insufficient when he looks down from
-
heaven. He sees you as what in Christ so he sees
-
you full complete lacking in Wanting nothing
-
and so a lot of times we think that we he's like
-
man. We just love but he's like you are fine
-
You know what find you a good neighbor Say hey
-
neighbor You're just fine The greater one lives
-
on the inside of you you are better than you've
-
ever been Jesus himself resides on the inside
-
of you. You couldn't be in a better state if
-
you had beachfront property in Hawaii. You wouldn't
-
be in a better state than you are right now.
-
It may be a different view, but I'm just saying
-
you wouldn't be in a better state. You can get
-
more peace sitting in this room Receiving his
-
love from you then you can with a thousand dollar
-
massage at the best Sauna that you've ever been
-
to in your life. You can sit here and realize
-
that I am His and he is mine and you will receive
-
peace that passes all understanding so when he
-
looks down at you he does not see you as Busted
-
disgusted. He doesn't see you that way It's important
-
to realize this otherwise you'll think that what
-
you are believing for is delay is punishment
-
Delay is only punishment is if you have living
-
a less than life on the way But you don't not
-
live in a less than life on the way to what God
-
is doing We live a more than enough life on the
-
way to what God is doing what God is doing is
-
God's business Y 'all see what I'm saying But
-
there was a lot of people there to celebrate
-
his death. Turns out this was a resurrection
-
party. Woo! I wish I could move on. But some
-
of y 'all got to realize that you played in the
-
death when God's playing in the resurrection
-
party. You looking at the date that they put
-
on the paper that they gonna kick you out and
-
God's looking at that date It's the same date
-
of the resurrection you looking at it through
-
what they say it is He's looking at it through
-
what he knows he's going to do They were planning
-
a funeral he was playing a resurrection He they
-
came to bury somebody he was coming to raise
-
somebody I believe that the same God that you're
-
seeing in this Bible is the same God that's watching
-
over your life. What are you saying, Pastor Brian,
-
that what are you planning as an end right now
-
that God is simultaneously seeing as his resurrection
-
moment? I know many of y 'all walked in here
-
with dates, expirations, fears, concerns, wonders,
-
doubts. I got enough money to last me the next
-
six months. I don't know about that. I don't
-
know what I'm gonna do after that. I still find
-
it right, you know, one of the most amazing things,
-
you know, went with my mom and went with myself.
-
It's amazing to me. Like, it's like they just,
-
the world just starts off with the wrong picture.
-
So we talking about retirement saving, me and
-
Rashida talking about retirement saving. They
-
said, well, how long you plan on living? Well,
-
that's a crazy question to ask right now. So
-
in order for me, to start thinking about what
-
provision looks like, I have to consider death.
-
You know what? Y 'all really jacked up in this
-
world. It's a really upside -down world that
-
in order for me to properly plan my future, I
-
got to think about my end. Don't y 'all know
-
that's not how we work. You know, you got to
-
sit in there and be really prayed up when you
-
talking to these financial advisors, because
-
they'll start speaking deaf when you came with
-
life. You like listen, I don't work my whole
-
life assume this amount of money and the first
-
thing they tell you is when it's gonna run out
-
And what you need to do to make sure it don't
-
run out y 'all looking at me crazy But this is
-
what they do and so that instead of leaving there
-
was security you leave there with fear And that's
-
what a lot of people, I don't know why God got
-
me here today. I don't know. But I like where
-
he has me sitting right here. That some of y
-
'all feel like you're marching towards an end.
-
When truthfully, you're headed towards a miracle.
-
Believe and receive it. Believe and receive it.
-
that very appointment that you think is about
-
to go in the wrong direction. God has the power
-
to invade earth and change it for his good. Oh,
-
yes, he does. Oh, yes, he does. He has a track
-
record. He has a track worker of disrupting our
-
nightmares. with a vision and a dream that exceeds
-
our expectations. I don't care. You know, I really
-
feel this in the spirit. Some of y 'all done
-
had some dreams that you wonder what this dream
-
is about. You ate something real bad. That's
-
what it was. You got this dream and you holding
-
on to this dream that God, that something devastation
-
is coming. You need to let that go. God is a
-
God of life and more life. That if God is involved,
-
life is the result. If you see it, you got to
-
confess, that ain't for me. I'm in this world,
-
I'm not of this world. That okay, that's a warning,
-
but that's a warning for those who do not have
-
divine connection to the Father. I am aligned
-
with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
-
He's watching over my everyday life, orchestrating
-
things beyond my thoughts and my imaginations.
-
I only serve a God of more than enough. A God
-
of more than enough called me out of darkness
-
into this marvelous light. Not because he didn't
-
have a plan, but because he had a strategic plan.
-
And regardless of how I think or feel, he's working
-
out his strategic plan right now. in your life
-
and the only thing Satan can do is convince you
-
to quit because it's already finished. So he'll
-
throw dreams, he'll throw thoughts, he'll throw
-
people, he'll throw suggestions, anything to
-
get you to cave in and quit because it's already
-
done. The framework has been set. I believe it,
-
I speak it, I receive it, God settles it. That's
-
it. Verse 43 now when he had said these things
-
he cried with a loud voice lazareth come forth
-
And he who had died came out bound hand and foot
-
with grave clothes And his face was wrapped with
-
a cloth jesus said to them Loose him and let
-
him go Loose him Let them go. Church, I can't
-
tell you how much of a message this is right
-
here. That the same folks who wrapped him had
-
to unwrap him. That the same folks who wrapped
-
him as dead now had to unwrap him as alive. Woo!
-
That the same folks that declared it was an end
-
had to be a part of the new beginning. That the
-
same folks that thought it couldn't happen had
-
to have hands on what God did once again Jesus
-
called them out, but they had to unwrap them
-
What are you saying pastor Brian that many of
-
us you are going to be involved of the unwrapping
-
of a lot of things There's a lot of mindsets
-
that you gonna have to unwrap. There's a lot
-
of rise says people have to unwrap around you
-
There's a lot of places people have mentally
-
placed you that once God gets a hold of you They're
-
gonna have to change those cloths They're gonna
-
have to change that linen that they have you
-
label as dead and done But what God is about
-
to do is change your whole trajectory and they're
-
about to have to undo everything They thought
-
everything they said everything they imagined,
-
they had no idea of what God was about to do.
-
Y 'all hear what I'm saying? That the God of
-
miracles is alive today and he wants to be active
-
in our lives. And as he's active in our lives,
-
he rearranges people's perspective of how they
-
saw us before. Hey neighbor, this is the new
-
me New life Now I know you may have to unwrap
-
some things that you thought about me I Know
-
there's some things that you know about me some
-
things that you declared done about me but God
-
is opening up these graves and screaming glory
-
is How, Pastor, believe it? What they had to
-
realize is, here's the truth, Jesus was developing
-
a resilient faith within them. One capable of
-
enduring crushed hopes. overwhelming fear that
-
as we walk back it is 1023 as we run back you
-
know I'm gonna save it for next week no it's
-
too it's too good to rush to see how He unwraps
-
this moment and how He gets their mind to understand
-
what is going on. What are you saying, Pastor
-
Brian? That as believers, it's important for
-
us to see how our Savior responds to tragedy.
-
Because until you understand how Jesus responds
-
to tragedy, it's hard to live in the freedom
-
that He's given you. many believe we do not understand
-
how he responds to tragedy that we think he panics
-
we think he changes we think that he shifts he
-
does none of those things you know what he does
-
he prepares a miracle and many of you have experienced
-
very traumatic in tragic moments in your life.
-
And what you need to realize is he doesn't run
-
from tragedy. He doesn't dismiss tragedy. He
-
prepares a miracle for every tragedy. You're
-
not forsaken. But there is an appointed time.
-
The Bible describes them as kairos moments. So
-
when heaven touches earth, and what was designed
-
to be tragic becomes miraculous and serves towards.
-
Father God we thank you for today And I thank
-
you for this opportunity to come and to stir
-
your people I Pray father God that as they leave
-
here They understand That there's a father who
-
has never left him never forsaken but who is
-
right now watching over their lives. Father God,
-
I pray that you give them the strength, the resilience,
-
the confidence, the courage to stand strong.
-
The Bible tells us that yet though they slay
-
me, I shall trust. Father God, I pray that we
-
have a trust in you that survives temporary pain
-
momentary loss I pray that we have a trust in
-
you that transcends dark moments That transcends
-
evil moments. I pray that we have a faith in
-
you that transcends Decisions that have been
-
in favorable on our behalf Father God, I pray
-
that we have a faith That you are a God who performs
-
miracles signs and wonders Father God, I pray
-
that we leave here with the confidence with the
-
courage with the resolve That you do have a blessing
-
with our name on it. We're asking for your peace
-
to invade our hearts. We're asking for your joy
-
to invade our lives. Father God, cover us as
-
we journey with you. I would like to also give
-
an invitation to anyone who would love to receive
-
Jesus today. The Bible says if you confess with
-
your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus
-
died and rose again you shall be saved. It's
-
confession and a belief leads to salvation and
-
so collectively I'm going to say a prayer if
-
that's you just say this prayer as we say it
-
but father God I thank you for your son Jesus
-
I believe he died and he rose again and when
-
he rose he rose with salvation my forgiveness
-
and I am now a child of his I Believe my sins
-
are forgiven And heaven is my home church can
-
we celebrate those who said that prayer for the
-
first time Also, today's a special Sunday. God
-
told us to just mark this Sunday as a day for
-
many of you guys to go. Go wear pastor. Go be
-
that person that's there to remove that stone.
-
Go be that person that's ready to unwrap those
-
grave clothes. what are you saying pastor brian
-
that god told us to start a new discipleship
-
journey here at the church and um we've been
-
preparing for you we've been waiting for you
-
but god told me that some of you guys wanted
-
to experience new life when it comes to being
-
a disciple of christ you know one of the things
-
that i um Truly struggled with is this thing
-
called church membership Simply because like
-
I said, I've been around church a long time you
-
can Church membership almost sounds like country
-
club membership and You know, I Just don't see
-
the point of it however, I do see the point of
-
discipleship I See the point of servant leadership
-
So a part of one of the things that God asked
-
for us to do in this new season now y 'all Don't
-
don't shock too much But we are no longer going
-
to ask people to be members of this church We're
-
gonna ask them if they want to be discipled at
-
this church What does that mean that's intentionality
-
that have an expectation and we have a commitment
-
that you want to be here because you want to
-
be like Jesus and we have a commitment to showing
-
you how to do that that you know oftentimes I
-
see people that I'm a member at that church and
-
I'm thinking what does that mean to you and so
-
God just asked us to bring some new life we can
-
say new life Some people saying am I no longer
-
a member? Yeah, you still are you just You just
-
a disciple now. We'll change it on the back end
-
for you But there's a new front end now Right,
-
so you don't have to do nothing. We'll change
-
it on the back end Just know that when we say
-
disciple maker and servant leader We're talking
-
about you now that we want to call you into activation
-
We want to call you into an understanding of
-
why you are here and what our commitment is to
-
you while you were here. Just to make that plain,
-
many people may not even know what it means to
-
be a disciple. It means to be one that reflects
-
the lifestyle of Christ. And so it's actually
-
a specific form of teaching that looks at how
-
Jesus handles things and teaches you how to handle
-
your life. I'm saying this because we actually
-
develop another set of teaching that goes along
-
with that. They'll be coming out weekly via video
-
so you can watch them at your leisure at your
-
convenience And then we'll assemble together
-
and talk about those lessons collectively So
-
yeah, it's not just a title, but there's actually
-
teaching that's gonna come along with these title
-
And so there we are right there's a QR code you
-
scan that QR code You're able to log in begin
-
that journey I'm excited to walk on this journey
-
with you guys And it's simply we're gonna take
-
Sunday's message and pull out even the discipleship
-
points there's direct points where you can see
-
this is how Jesus handles life and this is how
-
I should handle life and so we're excited about
-
it so if you're ready to be a servant leader
-
and a disciple maker scan that QR code and the
-
journey shall begin y 'all excited about that
-
look you never say new life And so here at Reveal
-
the Truth Ministries, we believe in cheerful
-
givers. Cheerful givers, what does that mean?
-
We believe that your heart should be in your
-
giving. That the Bible does never ask us to respond
-
to coercive. presentations of giving it never
-
asked us to respond to giving because of out
-
of need but the Bible tells us that man should
-
be cheerful in their giving that you should ask
-
God what he's asking for you to give and in response
-
to what he says be obedient not grudgingly are
-
of necessity what is grudgingly I didn't want
-
to do it was necessity I did it out of need those
-
are not biblical in the truth ministries we support
-
cheerful givers and you guys are incredible incredible
-
i think many people would be surprised that people
-
still give even though they're giving cheerfully
-
that they really think they have to force people
-
into doing something for them to do it that is
-
crazy but um true for the matter is you guys
-
are incredible you respond to as god is leading
-
you and as a result we are able to move forward
-
the gospel amen amen And so So Y 'all know y
-
'all know pastor Brian and so I've been trying
-
to figure out this whole service, you know, I
-
told Elder Nick I was gonna celebrate day and
-
raise it 45 years 46 years of marriage Between
-
elder Nick and miss Terry and you know what?
-
I was so funny the whole service. I was like
-
they not sit next to each other This would be
-
awkward to celebrate an anniversary if they beefing
-
currently, but I think she's sitting next to
-
her granddaughter All right. I was like boy.
-
This is about to be awkward, you know, I Don't
-
know if I should skip it or do it But I saw the
-
granddaughter so, you know, she's sitting next
-
to the granddaughter. So they are celebrating
-
40 y 'all give it up for one 46 years marriage
-
that's incredible and so y 'all gonna come back
-
next week up otherwise we'd have been here for
-
a very long time but um man y 'all can stand
-
to your feet we'll finish I guess it'd be part
-
two of what to do when you need a miracle But
-
now unto him that is able to keep you from falling
-
and to present you faultless for the presence
-
of his glory with exceeding joy to the only wise
-
God, our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion
-
and power both now and forever. Amen. So far
-
nothing so much but nothing compared to a mother's
-
touch
