Psalm 20:1-9

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Psalms Bible study.

Rachel and I was on a hiatus for a while.

So much going on at work, so much going on

at home, so much going on in the ministry that

we took a break. So, boy, it's such a breath

of fresh air to get back to Psalms. And specifically

this particular Psalm, it's full of encouraging words for the

birth pangs. when we enter our time of persecution. So

it's only nine verses long. It's pretty short. It's pretty sweet.

You know, it's very apropos that we do this in

light of everything that's been going on. Like I said, work, home,

and ministry has just kind of been tumultuous here lately. Mm-hmm, yep. Yes.

But the Lord is faithful. Yes.

Amen.

He is.

He makes us stronger in these times.

Yes.

We have been told that we must carry our own cross.

We must. That is part of it. So we will

go through some of the suffering that Jesus went through.

Or maybe all of it. I don't know. But you

realize this is the greatest prophecy ever. You realize he

repeatedly told his disciples before he was crucified, he was

going to be crucified and they didn't listen to him.

He specifically told them, you have to pick up your

cross and follow me. So they had, imagine the ringing

in their ears as they're standing there seeing him on

the cross. They had no idea what he was talking about.

And there's so many things in this life that we,

at the time, we're just like they're happening or somebody

saying something and it's just going right over our head,

but it's not, it's in our subconscious. And sometimes it

confuses like, why did they say that? But then years

later you think back at the conversation and you're like,

Oh my, that's what they were saying. That's what they meant.

And they were, the person, if it was a person

telling you something, they were probably just so frustrated with

you that you were thinking you weren't listening or whatever.

Now that we have kids of our own, we're experiencing

that happening ourselves. And it's just that we didn't have

the right kind of context to put what they were

saying into our memory, into our thoughts, I mean.

Right. You have to process what's going on before you

understand what it is.

You have to go through a certain set of things

but there are certain things that are better if we

know them in advance even though we don't understand them.

Just like what Jesus said about carrying our own cross.

And so when we're going through things I know it

feels like everything's falling apart. It just wasn't the way

that We thought it would be. We didn't think it

would happen in this way we had. And so it

makes it very difficult. But when we can look back

on what he said and his words and realize that

it's going to be okay. And he has good plans

for us.

Yes. So let me catch my breath here. Let me

change the topic before I start bawling on air. Okay.

Oops.

We just talked about this. You have to be able

to take information and process it just when I was

trudging outside. You said something to me. You called me

over and asked me a particular question. And I gave

you a direct answer. I gave you a very direct

answer to the difference between between jealousy and envy and

then you took that and processed it and responded to

me and instead of saying anything further you said what

you said and I said what you said and I

had to process what you said and you had to

process what I said so That's very important that we're able, well,

that's why we're doing what we're doing today, right? You

need the information before you can properly process what it's saying.

And before you've processed it, herein lies the massive danger

of deception. This is when the devil enters in. When

you take in what the word says, and before you

have a chance to process it the devil distorts it

and turns it into deception and.

A lot of times this will come out in our

intention is to do what God wants but in our

sin that's where we get tripped up and we must

be careful that we don't take what we think is

going to happen and then let that cause.

Us to sin.

God would never be wanting that. Just because we think

something should happen, just because we're fearful that this is

going to happen, we need to trust what God's doing

and remember the commands He gave us, whether it makes

sense to us or not.

Whether it makes sense to us or not.

Because there are certain things that we know that God's

commanded us. So we have to hold fast to truth

and mercy.

Right.

And when we hold fast to truth and mercy, whenever

there's anything going on in any kind of relationship, we

need to let our minds go back to that.

Yep.

You know, what do we know? Not what we think

we know. Not what we were like, well, you know,

in a relationship, we're thinking, you know, this person is

doing this because of this. You know, maybe they sinned

against us. Maybe they did a couple of things against us.

But then in our minds, we stray from the truth

and we're not merciful. So.

And boy, ain't that easy. Oh, yeah. Man, that is

easy to not be merciful. That's not funny. That's not funny.

That's not funny. All right. So we might as well

just go ahead and jump into this. So I don't

know if you want to read all nine verses, but

once you read to the spirit moves and stops, you

give us.

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble.

May the name of the God of Jacob defend you.

May he send you help from the sanctuary and strengthen

you out of Zion. May he remember all your offerings

and accept your burnt sacrifice.

Selah. Selah. So here's a Selah moment. First off, you

realize that, I mean, I got to talk a lot

about Bible prophecy here. I don't have a choice. So

we're told in the prophecy of Daniel 70th week that

in the middle of Jesus Christ ministry, he would be

crucified and become the Passover sacrifice. Okay. This is exactly

what happened. And after that, God is very clear. What

we owe him is sacrifices of praise. Yes. We put

our own will and our own desire on this burnt

offering sacrifice. The Bible is redundant. It is replete. And

the Spirit is moving, so I'm sorry, Rachel. I just

have to go. Once again, I don't know why the

Spirit keeps having me do this, but Hebrews chapter 10,

Hebrews 10 · chapter mention

starting in verse 26 says, The word tells you the

difference between churchgoers and those who have been born again.

It says it very succinctly, so I need to make

sure that they understand what sacrifice he's talking about, okay? So,

three very simple verses. For if we sin willfully after

we have received knowledge of the truth, there no longer...

remains a sacrifice for sins but a certain fearful expectation

of judgment and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries

anyone is rejected Moses law dies without mercy on the

testimony of two or three witnesses of how much worse

punishment do you suppose he be thought worthy who has

trampled the son of God underfoot and counted the blood

of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common

thing and insulted the spirit of grace so this is

what this means Once you've been water baptized into the church,

if you continue sinning willfully, your baptism will take a

dead end right there. If you continue to willfully practicing

sin while the Holy Spirit is waiting to make you

reborn after a certain period of time, and we don't

know what that time frame is, no more than we

know the time frame for the age of accountability. But

there's a time by which you cross the threshold in

your willful sinning because you can't sin in Jesus' name.

That's what it just said. If you claim the name

of Christ and continue to willfully sin, you are trampling him.

And it says very, very clear, counted the blood of

the covenant. What's the blood of the covenant? Matthew chapter 26,

Matthew 26:26

verse 26. We say that every time at communion, right?

His blood is the blood of the new covenant. If

we do that for too long, the spirit of grace

will not baptize us. So know and understand, do not

be misled. I have given you the information from Psalm 20.

Don't let the devil come in before you have a

chance to process it. What he's talking about, write it, please, please,

I'm begging you, write this down. Write down Hebrews chapter

Hebrews 10:26–29

10 verses 26 through 29. Don't let the devil deceive

you into this sin-based salvation. Jesus Christ does not save

you in your sin. He saves you from your sin

because he is your ransom. He's your ransom. He's not

your substitution. The word never says that. So I know

that was kind of lengthy. Rachel, I'm sorry, but I

had to. The spirit was moving. I cannot obstruct the

spirit of grace.

I can't.

So this is why this was a Salah moment. You're

supposed to understand what the prophecy of Daniel's 70th week means.

You're supposed to understand it. And I'm sorry, Rachel, the

spirit is moving again. Okay, we're going to go to

the prophecy of Daniel's 70th week because the Spirit is

just telling me that many of you are confused. I'm

sure the Spirit is not referencing members of Maranatha Ministries.

I'm sure this is somebody, and I hope it's many people,

that are watching or listening to this in the archives.

I hope that's who the Spirit is referencing here. But

we're going to talk about Daniel's 70th week. It's just

some very simple verses, verses 24 through 27. And here,

this is what it says. It says the Lord Jesus

Christ was going to make a covenant with many for

Daniel's 70th week. And it says in the middle of

that week, he's crucified. And when he's crucified, he becomes

the final sacrifice. Okay? Matthew chapter 26, verse 26. Look

Matthew 26:26

that up real quick, honey. Matthew 26, 26. What is

Jesus Christ's blood? When he sacrificed himself, what did it become?

There's no such thing as dispensational theology. Okay? There's only

covenant theology. Read for us starting in 26, 26.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it,

and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat,

this is my body. Then he took the cup and

gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, Drink from

all of you, for this is my blood of the

new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission

of sins.

Amen. Amen. This is true. Now during your processing of

this information, you can't be deceived. That's what it means.

It doesn't mean anything else. So in the middle, how

do we know this? John clearly gives us one, two,

three Passovers. You know beyond any shadow of a doubt.

This is his ministry. All academics will tell you this.

Jesus Christ's ministry lasted for three and a half years,

and that's why. So that's what it's going to say.

Then it's going to say, when the abomination of desolation

is set up, the final half of Daniel's 70th week

will be fulfilled. That's what it's getting ready to say, okay?

Okay.

So now you can't be deceived by confusion entering in

before you have understanding. Seventy weeks are determined for your

people and your holy city to finish transgression, to make

end of sin, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring

in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and

to anoint the most holy. Know therefore and understand that

from the going forth to restore and build Jerusalem until

Messiah the prince, thou shalt be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks.

The street shall be built again in the wall, even

in troublesome times. And after sixty-two weeks, Messiah shall be

cut off, but not for himself. And the people of

the prince who is to come shall destroy the city

and the sanctuary, and the end of it shall be

with a flood. Until the end of the war, desolations

are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many

for one week. But in the middle of the week.

He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And

on the wing of abomination. Shall be one who makes desolate.

Even unto the consummation which is determined. Is poured out

on the desolate. So he. Authoritatively told you. There was

the final 70th week. Which would be the ministry of

the Lord Jesus Christ. Halfway into it. he would be crucified.

A bunch of time would go by. The latter part

of verse 26 tells you of the destruction of Jerusalem

in 70 AD. Then verse 27 says a great big

bunch of time is going to go past. And the

final half of the week would not start until the

abomination of desolation. These things are true. They're true. Okay,

so with this in mind, Getting back to Psalm 20,

you need to understand all of these things, okay, before

we go to the next verse, verse 4. That's why

this Salah moment was incorporated, it was impregnated into God's

Word right here, this Salah. Okay, it's very beautiful that

you understand exactly what he means. And when he says

that he's going to send help from out of his sanctuary,

And Mount Zion, Hebrews chapter 12, verse 22. You cannot

lie about the word. The word states that Zion is

God's throne room in heaven. Zion is not in creation.

It's in heaven. Okay, I'm sorry. The spirit's moving again.

I got to provide the proof word. This is the

word of God unadulterated. This is exactly what he says.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the

city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem with innumerable

company of angels. Period. Mount Zion is not on planet Earth.

It's not on Mars or Mercury. It's not in the

Andromeda galaxy. Heaven is the other dimension. There's only two dimensions.

Heaven's the other one. Thus saith the Lord from the

very beginning. I'm sorry, Rachel, just one more, I promise. Okay,

this is true. Read for me. Genesis 1, verse 1,

Genesis 1:1

it says God creates two dimensions. He says he creates

the spiritual dimension first and then the physical dimension. Read it.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Praise God. Praise God. So, now you further or elaborate

on this. This is why the New Testament says that

there's families in heaven and on earth. Okay. I'm not

going to elaborate on that because I've already... I'm already...

probably making you uncomfortable because I've given so much commentary

so far it's very important that people understand once you

digest the information from the word before you reach an

understanding it's this period in which the devil steps in

and deceives you before you have a chance to process

it how do you process it cross references Did I

mention any theologians' names? No. Did I mention any commentaries? No.

Understanding comes from cross-referencing what God's word has said other places.

Is this not the only thing I've done? This is

how you're able to process the information with cross-references. I'm sorry, Rachel.

Can I add, because I think you're forgetting also the

power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

And sometimes it's a timing thing. And you're just going

to have to wait.

But in the waiting.

You've got to wait for Christmas to open your presents.

And you've got to wait for God's timing to understand

some things. And you have to be patient in the

Holy Spirit. Yes.

And You cannot hearken to anyone else's voice during this time.

I'm going to be very clear. I don't care what

the theologian's name is or the pastor's name or the

preacher's name or the priest's name or the bishop's name.

Those are all lies. You have to be patient and

only hearken to his voice. I just told you how

it's going to happen. The Holy Spirit's going to lead

you to other verses in the Bible that will explain himself.

He don't need a commentator.

And the other thing I want to say is don't

stop reading just because you're not understanding things.

That's what a lot of.

People do because it's very hard. You get to a

section in scripture that you're just not getting it. God

will lead you to another part of the scripture to

read that you can understand, that you are ready for.

But don't. Don't just stop because you're just like, oh,

this is so much brain work. Because one thing God

has taught me in these past few weeks is that...

Why did I just lose it? But God just... Why

did I just lose what I was going to say?

Spirit said no.

I guess not.

Spirit said no. Amen. Verse 4. That's enough. Verse 4.

Okay. Verse 4. May he grant you according to your

heart's desire.

Amen.

And fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation.

And in the name of our God, we'll set up

our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. And

this is talking about Jesus. So this is Jesus's heart's desire.

Jesus's purpose. Jesus's salvation. For us.

Amen. Amen. Amen. Can I answer that? Okay. I wasn't

going to say it, but I'm sorry. I have to

go all the way back to the first verse. It

says day of trouble. I know that. That direct phrase says,

Is also in Psalm 50. The Psalm of Asaph. Praise God.

In verse 15. Call upon me. What? In the day

of trouble. I will deliver you. And shall glorify me.

Praise God. Listen. He's emphatically telling you. I read to

you straight from Daniel chapter 9. He's saying that he's

going to fulfill his covenant. Praise God. By gathering us together.

And when we're there, we're going to have what says banners.

That's not the only time that's in the Bible. It's

all over the place. And God is telling you that

in between is going to be a.

I'm giving too much. Praise God. This will be fulfilled

according to the word of death. Now listen. Jesus Christ

told you, I'm sorry. I won't go on and on.

I promise I won't. I must quote from God the Son.

Praise God. Praise God. Let me quote him. I will

direct quote you so that you can't be deceived. Look

at this in Greek. Look at it in Greek. This

is Jesus Christ. Now, when you see the abomination spoken

of by Daniel, the prophet standing in the holy place,

what's that say?

Whoever reads this, let him understand.

Praise God. I'm not going to elaborate no more. I

don't have to. You need to understand this is true.

These things are true. The covenant that he makes with

many for Daniel's 70th week is going to come true

in the three and a half year tribulation. And you

need to know, those of you that's been born again,

there's coming a flood of many waters that's called the

birth pangs. You know that intimately, right? Having six children,

you know you're getting ready to give birth when your

water breaks. Now, This does not take a rocket scientist degree. Okay.

God is expecting, okay, mothers to be reading his word.

He's expecting, you know, look, everybody. Is there anyone on

this planet? Because even children know when their mother's waters break.

And because how many nieces and nephews do I got?

Let's not go there. I got to observe scores of

them that, especially when they were five or six and

their mother's water would break, they got terrified. Like, what's

wrong with mommy? What's wrong with mommy? And they'd have

to rush her to the hospital.

This is because what you say, God's word is also polysemic.

Amen. Praise God.

Yes. And so also the flood of many waters could

be likened unto when we are baptized and we go under.

And it's loud. If you remember your baptism, when you

were under the water, it was loud. Like, what are

you hearing?

It sounded like... It roars. It kind of sounded.

Like what sounds like in a big crowd of people.

And then you come out, and it's silence.

Praise God.

And.

And the water's still in your ear, and it's plugged up,

and the water slowly drains out, and you're able to hear.

Praise God. Do you know that... And so.

So that's another example of coming out from many waters.

When we are baptized, we're coming up out of those

many waters of the world. And all of these voices

that are happening, you know, AI telling you, chat, GBT, billboards, TV, radio,

walking into a store, there's some stupid song going on.

That just doesn't mean anything or something really horrible or

something like that. These are the many waters. And when

we are baptized, we are coming up out of those waters.

We are coming out of those waters into the peace

of Christ in our hearts.

The water is still around us. Whatever bathtub or.

Or lake or wherever you got baptized, it's still there.

You can still look at it, but you're up out

of it. And that's what we are when we're in

the world. We're looking onto it, but we're not in it.

Our head isn't under the water anymore. And that's what

this is when we come up out of many waters too. Also,

also giving birth, also water breaking. But, you know, like

you said, if for people that have never given birth,

this is, um, they might never be able to understand that,

but they can understand being baptized and going under the

water and then coming out.

I'm only going to say one thing.

Okay.

No, I'm not. You are. Okay. Look. Read for me

verse 1 again, please.

Okay, you need to understand what that means.

Hebrew word is let me switch it over to Greek

to Hebrew see how this is really complicated in Hebrew

okay see this word right here means trouble okay what

does trouble also mean now limit what you say you

cannot talk about what we talked about for breakfast What

does trouble also mean? A female rival. The spirit says,

come and see.

Carol has a comment.

What are you, psychic? How do you know that?

It comes up on the screen.

Carol comments, would the woman coming out of many waters

be like the Israelites going through the Red Sea into

the wilderness? Thank you and blessings. That's exactly what it is.

The word actually uses that for reference. And I'm sorry, Carol,

I'm going to have to give you more information than

you wanted. For some reason, this is twice the Holy

Spirit's done this to me. I don't want to say it,

but he's forcing me to. There's all kinds of conspiracy

theories about 1 Peter 3, but you need to know verses...

20 and 21, what it's talking about, Carol, is the

bad people that's going to make a martyr out of you,

they've only been water baptized. And Jesus Christ uses that

in 1 Peter 3, verses 20 and 21, so that

1 Peter 3:20

you know people that's only been water baptized are going

to destroy you. I can't say any more. I don't

want to say any more.

Get back.

Now I know. that the Lord saves his anointed. He

will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving

strength of his right hand. Amen.

Amen. Amen. Amen. I ain't going to preach about that

because I could sit here and preach for five hours straight.

Praise God. I could close my laptop, close that Bible,

and I don't need, I know what it says. I

could just It's amazing when you hear me do this privately, right?

I can just rattle them off, right? I don't need

any commentator or any commentary. Just give me the word, baby.

Give me the word. So is there anything you want

to talk about verse 6?

It pretty much speaks for itself. I don't know if

I should be adding to God's word at all. I

don't know.

Well, hush my mouth. You have spoken wisely. Verse 7 then.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we

will remember the name of the Lord our God. They

have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and

stand upright.

Amen. Amen. Let me preach it for you, okay? This

is what Revelation chapter 7 verses 9 through 17 state.

Revelation 7:9–17

That's when this will be fulfilled. Matter of fact, the

Spirit's moving. The reason why this happens is because of

Hosea chapter 6 verse 2. So I'm going to have

Hosea 6:2

Rachel read it. Let me jump over there real quick. Okay.

So what this says, you know, that a day is

like a thousand years and a thousand years is like

a day to the Lord, right? So he says after 2,000 years,

this is what he's going to do. Read verse 2

for me.

After two days, he will revive us. On the third day,

he will raise us up that we may live in

his sight.

Amen. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. In order to

prepare for this, read verse 3.

Let us know. Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.

Amen.

His going forth is established as the morning.

As the morning.

He will come to us like the rain, like the

latter and the former rain to the earth.

Amen. To the earth. You're not going to heaven. Oh, no,

you're not. No. He was, wow, he was crystal clear.

And what blows my mind is, if you look at

this in Hebrew or if you look at this in Greek,

or you look at the equations and the alphanumerics, just

in those three different ways, it's so perfect and intricate,

it will blow your mind. I mean, you'll be lost

here for weeks trying to figure out everything he's trying

to say.

I just remembered what I was getting ready to say earlier.

So I realized that there are many times when we

think that we're doing something for God. We're... We're doing

something for God when he's actually doing something for us.

And for some reason, we flip the tables. And when

we read the Bible, we think, oh, I'm going to

do something for God today. I'm going to read my Bible.

I'm going to read my Bible. I'm going to do

this for God.

But in reality, he's doing this for us. Do you

realize how many thousands of years people didn't have a Bible?

He has... He's done this for us so we can know.

And I know it's.

Hard, but when we're able to read the Bible, it's

not something that we're doing for him. No. It's something

he's doing for us. Us being able to pray, being

able to talk directly to him. We're not doing that

for him. He's doing it for us. And it had

to finally click with me when somebody did something to

me recently that I was doing them a favor. And

they thought that they took it as that they were

doing me a favor by letting me do the favor.

And it just it had to happen. It hurts like crazy,

but it had to happen so God could teach me

this and show me this. Reading the Bible is not

a favor that we're doing for God. Praying to him

and praising him is not something that we're doing for him.

He's doing it for us by allowing us the opportunity

to connect with him. When we praise him, he didn't

have to allow us the opportunity to be able to

lift our voices to him to where he could hear us.

He can snatch your tongue right out of your head.

Praise God.

He didn't have to do that.

But he did.

And I hadn't realized that I had it all backwards.

And so when things happen that are upsetting and hurtful

that other people do to us, we have to be thankful.

We have to be thankful. And I have to be

thankful that that happened. Even though it hurt. I have

to be thankful that that happened. Because it happened. I

was able to understand what God was doing for me.

So of course I would forgive this person.

Why would I not?

Because God showed me something.

So So with that in mind, read for me. There's

only one reason why they're going to make a martyr

out of you, and it's for what she just said.

When you saturate your psyche with Scripture, you're not doing

God a favor. Read verse 9, please.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the

altar the souls of those who had been slain for

the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

Do not hearken to commentaries or commentators. You must only

hearken to the Word. To the Word, praise God. Now look,

God goes ahead and tells you how it is they're

going to corrupt God's Word and turning into something that's

not God's Word. Read 18 and 19 for us.

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of

the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to these things...

god will add hit to him the plagues that are

written in this book 19 and if anyone takes away

from the words of the book of this prophecy, God

shall take away his part from the book of life,

from the holy city, and from the things which are

written in this book.

Forever and always, amen. Forever and always, amen.

And that's not a punishment. That's not a punishment. He already...

We should be thankful that we even have the chance

that we had a part. Like, that is the gift.

Right. He's saying.

If you're going to do this, you're going to take... Okay, well,

then you're not getting the gift.

He is saying those that have only gone through water

baptism are going to be taken away. We who are

alive and remain are those that have been reborn. Now

hearken to the voice of the Lord. John chapter 3,

write that down. And 1 Peter chapter 3, inscribe that somewhere.

Go to your front door and dig it in there

with a knife. So every time you go out into

the world, you know you must be reborn. Praise God.

Anything else? That's a pretty good one. I know this.

I have to limit myself. I could just get on

a roll, baby. Remember the old insult to anybody who

was born again? They called them holy rollers. They hate us.

They call us do-gooders.

Right? Well, it is part and parcel because of some

people who think, who are part of this, the checklisters.

That's a new one, the checklisters. I just dealt with

a checklister this morning.

Yeah, so there's these checklisters that think that if they're

helping at the food pantry on Thursdays, that that's enough.

They can say insulting things to the people who are

coming and getting food, but they're helping give out the food,

so they've done their good deed.

Yeah, they think that now God the Father is forced

to let them into the kingdom of heaven. They, they

really do think that. And I mean, they'll go psychotic

on you.

And so, and so, and so we have to be

careful about, about people who use those terms because they

have been hurt by people who claimed the blood, blood

of Christ, but trampled on it.

Oh my goodness.

So, so we have to be careful about those people

who use those terms because they have been a lot

of times been hurt. So they're, So we just have

to use discernment through the Holy Spirit to know which

is which. Because we can't just know by saying, the

people that call us this are this way. Because they're

not all that way.

Yes. Amen. I cannot add, nor will I retract. Alright,
