Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the First Samuel Bible Study.
-
We are your hosts, Baby Cakes and Matthew. And this
-
is the culmination of 35 years of marriage, right? And
-
we have made a startling discovery here at Maranatha Ministries.
-
We have determined that in order for you to have
-
been raptured to heaven, Once you are gone, your clothes
-
must be neatly folded up by the angels. If not,
-
if your clothes are strewn about, that means something nefarious
-
has gone on and you have not, in fact, been.
-
Raptured to hell. What if your clothes are just gone?
-
Like, everything.
-
Like, nobody even knows.
-
This means, obviously, fallen angels took you because they took
-
your stuff. They're thieves. They took souvenirs. What are you
-
talking about? I have no idea. Are you recording? We
-
are recording. Why? We are recording. So once upon a time,
-
once upon a time, David fled to Nob. Amen?
-
Yep.
-
And this created some catastrophic things. catastrophic things happened here.
-
Yeah, some very encrypted things. For sure.
-
And we get to meet the one adversary again. One
-
of the adversaries from several chapters before.
-
Several chapters from before, yes. To encounter them again.
-
A lot of encrypted allegories, probably prophecy. A lot of
-
stuff like, whenever you read something that is like, why
-
is that even there?
-
Like, why?
-
Right.
-
Wait, wait.
-
And it's got to have some kind of symbolism.
-
I put it differently. It has some kind of ramifications.
-
Yeah, okay.
-
There's a reason why I use that English term. It
-
has portents of the future. Ram, to be forced down.
-
It's a forcible action. It's one directional. To ram... means
-
a forced one-way direction. So that's why I use ramifications.
-
That means that this event has effects in the future.
-
This past event. Absolutely.
-
Absolutely.
-
Yeah.
-
I mean, you know, obviously, David is flipping out. David
-
is flipping out.
-
Right now.
-
So.
-
We all flip out sometimes. Right? Everybody flips out.
-
Right.
-
Yeah.
-
Well, one thing is for sure. When you met me,
-
I was a creature. I was one thing. There's no doubt. Now,
-
I am not him. Now I am a different creature because...
-
God has modified me. You like to say that one
-
of my defining characteristics is that if somebody alerts me
-
of a shortcoming, I will intentionally correct that. For sure.
-
So this is what God.
-
That's what sets you apart. That's why, that's why, you know,
-
I know what I've got.
-
You know what I've got. Why are you making me
-
laugh again? This is supposed to be serious. Anyway, but
-
this is what God is doing to David. He's doing
-
this to David. Anyway, yeah, this is jam-packed with prophecy
-
that is to come. Wow. So much to talk about.
-
All right.
-
So you want to just start reading or you got
-
further commentation.
-
You want to do? No, go ahead.
-
Okay, go ahead, baby. Read to your heart's content.
-
Now David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest. And
-
Ahimelech was afraid when he met David and said to him,
-
Why are you alone and no one is with you?
-
So David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has
-
ordered me on some business and said to me, Do
-
not let anyone know anything about the business on which
-
I send you or what I have commanded you and
-
have directed my young men to such and such place. Now, therefore,
-
what have you on hand? Give me five loaves of
-
bread in my hand or whatever can be found. Okay,
-
first of all, he's lying. He's lying.
-
Okay, wait a minute. Okay, wait a minute. So you're
-
saying that this is a lie. Do not let anyone
-
know about the business on which I send you or
-
what I've commanded you to do. And I have directed
-
my young men to such and such a place.
-
This is nothing in the chapter before about that.
-
Rachel, wait a minute. Let's just calm down for a second.
-
What pertained to David was this. David said, I have
-
directed my young men to such and such a place.
-
That is true.
-
Right?
-
There was no yes. You're getting ready to find out. Yes,
-
his men were laying in the field hiding themselves. Yes,
-
they were. So what he was speaking about himself was true.
-
What he was saying out about the king was not true. Right.
-
So he was not lying about himself.
-
Right?
-
Right.
-
Not unless he was speaking about God the King, and
-
that he wouldn't be lying. Very good. Only under these
-
auspices can he not be lying. Very good you saw it.
-
So going forward, no one understand this, ladies and gentlemen.
-
You better wake up to what's going on, because your
-
knee-jerk reaction is to think, well, David's lying about King Saul. No.
-
David never said Saul's name. He never talked about Saul.
-
And here's the other thing. There's layers to this.
-
Yes, there's layers.
-
Because the young men are actually....
-
Right.
-
So you say it. Why are you wanting me to
-
say it?
-
Because you know the word. I can't... I get it wrong.
-
The young children are the Moshein. Yes.
-
And so... So... The young men is who they're talking about. So... Yeah.
-
It's... Very incredible what's being said here.
-
Should I keep reading?
-
Yes, you should keep reading.
-
And the priest answered David and said, There is no
-
common bread on hand, but there is holy bread, if
-
the young men have at least kept themselves from women.
-
And again, this is talking about Jesus.
-
This is certainly talking about....
-
It is... This is certainly talking about those in Revelation
-
chapter 14, verses 1 through 5. And the such and
-
such a place that they've went to, they've been raptured.
-
And I assure you, their diapers have.
-
Been neatly folded and left behind.
-
Okay?
-
So, yes.
-
Yes.
-
This phraseology is coming straight from Revelation chapter 14.
Revelation 14 chapter mention
-
Then David answered the priest and said to him, Truly,
-
women have been kept from us about three days since
-
I came out. How long was Jesus.
-
In the grave? Yes, Rachel, he was in the grave
-
for three days.
-
And the vessels of the young men are holy, and
-
the bread, in effect, is in effect common. because Jesus
-
was a human.
-
Yes. Keep reading.
-
And God, in the vessel.
-
Even though.
-
Even though it was consecrated in the vessel this day
-
in the tomb. Yes.
-
Yes. Okay, so.
-
So, the priest gave him holy bread, for there was
-
no bread there but the show bread, which had been
-
taken from before the Lord in order to put hot
-
bread in its place on the day when it was
-
taken away. What's that symbolic of? The hot bread.
-
Okay. Two years and under. This narrative is strung throughout
-
that there's a time limit for these children. And this
-
time limit was established by Herod's soldiers, by the soldiers
-
sticking their forefingers into the child's mouth. If the child
-
had its front teeth, the child was permitted to live.
-
If the child had no front teeth, it was ran through.
-
So this tells you that this That they are of
-
a specific age. And we know this translates through to
-
its end to Matthew chapter 24, verse 15. So let's
-
take the time to do this real quick. You're just
-
going to read one verse. And when you do, people's
-
eyes will be open. And they will be able to
-
hear for the first time why this verse is here
-
and why Jesus Christ said this. But whoa.
-
To those who are pregnant and to those who are
-
nursing babies in those days.
-
You do not nurse after two years because this is
-
when they have their front teeth and they must be weaned.
-
This is why the Herod soldiers would stick their finger
-
in their mouth and move it back and forth to
-
find out if they had teeth.
-
But anymore, babies are getting their teeth way earlier than that.
-
You get the point.
-
Right?
-
Right. This is what established the date because You're not
-
going to say, yes, ma'am, how old is your baby?
-
If your baby is over two, it'll live. But if
-
it's under two, it dies. And of course, every mother
-
is going to say, well, really? Well, he had his
-
second birthday yesterday. So anyway, this is why this verse
-
is here. That's why Matthew chapter 24, verse 19. That's
-
why it's there. And this idea is coming from, well,
-
it really stems from what happened that day. God is
-
remembering it. So it's stained in history. So anyway, go ahead.
-
Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was
-
there that day detained before the Lord, and his name
-
was Doeg. and Edomite, the chief of the herdsmen who
-
belonged to Saul. Now, wasn't this originally an enemy of Saul?
-
Let me read that one more time. The chief of
-
the herdsmen. Okay, just so you know. Remember that Edom
-
was Jacob's twin brother, right? They were twins. Okay, so
-
literally the Edomites were just those who had not been chosen.
-
It's that simple. You need to see that here. And
-
you need to see that the angels, when Jesus Christ came,
-
who did they give the news to?
-
The shepherds.
-
And this is the chief. He's the chief shepherd. He
-
is the chief of the herdsmen, right? And he is
-
an Edomite. So that's very important for you to see. Now,
-
his role as being an enemy, him being an Edomite,
-
of course he was an enemy. Because God says this,
-
Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated. And
-
everybody needs to realize this. It's the same ethnic group.
-
They weren't just brothers from the same mother. They were
-
brothers from the same exact womb. You cannot get any
-
closer ethnically to anybody but a twin. Okay? So this
-
is all playing into the greater narrative that this is
-
why Doag has to be inserted in here when it
-
comes with at the mention Of salt.
-
Okay? Salt.
-
Keep reading? Keep reading.
-
And David said to Ahimelech, Is there not here on
-
hand a spear or a sword? For I have brought
-
neither my sword nor my weapons with me because the
-
king's business required haste. So the priest said, The sword
-
of Goliath the Philistine whom you killed in the valley
-
of Elah, there it is, wrapped in a cloth behind
-
the ephod. If you will take that, take it. But
-
there is no other except that one here. And David said,
-
There is none like it. Give it to me.
-
So, what's your thoughts on this?
-
Anytime I see sword, I think of the Bible, the
-
Word of God.
-
Yes, you're thinking, yes. And Jesus Christ is the Word
-
of God, and he was certainly wrapped.
-
There was none like him.
-
Right. And certainly he was wrapped in swaddling clothes, and
-
certainly he was wrapped up in the linen cloth when
-
he was buried. So this is all prophetically tying those
-
events together. him saying that he was, you know, this
-
is him saying, there was no other man like him.
-
Not at birth, not at death, there was no one
-
like him. And once again, this sword had destroyed the
-
work of Satan. Because do not be misled. It plainly
-
states that that Goliath was a giant. He did not
-
have natural origins. He had supernatural origins. And this sword
-
had slain him. You're supposed to see that. So very
-
prophetic things happening that are strangely have echoes through time. So,
-
We're going to see this, that you're told this for
-
a specific reason. At this point, you're wondering yourself, who
-
gets the glory here? Is it the one who slayed
-
the giant, or is it the sword who slew the giant?
-
Because one thing's for sure, David didn't rip off Goliath's head.
-
It was the sword that decapitated him, right? We're going
-
to see that here in a minute. God's going to
-
bring your attention to it.
-
Okay.
-
So this is when David really flips out now.
-
Yes, David realizes, yeah.
-
Why he does the next thing that he does anyways,
-
like why would you even do it? Right. Is beyond me.
-
And then he flips out because he did it.
-
So, obviously.
-
the Holy Spirit is leading the way for him to
-
do something he wouldn't have ordinarily done.
-
Would he have ordinarily done any of this? That's a
-
good question.
-
Correct. Then David arose and fled that day from before
-
Saul and went to Achish, the king of Gath. And
-
the servants of Achish said to him, Is this not David?
-
The king, the king of this land, did they not
-
sing of him to one another in dances, saying, Saul
-
has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousand? Now
-
David took these words to heart and was very much
-
afraid of Achish, the king of Gath. So he changed
-
his behavior before him, before them, pretending. pretended madness in
-
their hands, scratched on the doors of the gate, and
-
let his saliva fall down on his beard. Then Achish
-
said to his servants, Look, you see the man is insane.
-
Why have you brought him to me? Have I need
-
of madmen that you have brought this fellow to play
-
the madman in my presence? Shall this fellow come into
-
my house? What's all that about?
-
Well, let me ask you this. Why did he specifically
-
go to Gath? Where was Goliath from? He just went
-
to the very place. Do you understand? On the surface,
-
this makes absolutely no sense. Why is Goliath in here?
-
Why is Achish in here? Why is Gath in here?
-
Why is this about the Philistines?
-
And why would he do that? He killed Goliath. Why
-
was he afraid? Right.
-
One thing's for sure. This would later happen when the
-
clergy would ask the Christ, you know, you cast out
-
demons because you have a demon. Right?
-
I know, but something more specific. I mean, this is
-
pretty specific. I mean, scratched on the doors of the
-
gate and let his saliva fall down on his beard.
-
Like that's pretty specific.
-
It is pretty, it's reminiscent of a animal, right?
-
Like.
-
That's what this word here in Hebrew says, you know,
-
calls him a madman. It's not really the Hebrew word there.
-
There is to rave, to rage, right?
-
What is occurring right now?
-
That's a good question, isn't it? And David took it
-
to heart.
-
And how is this going to play out in prophecy?
-
Okay, so let's do this. What isn't mentioned here, right?
-
What isn't mentioned here? What isn't mentioned here?
-
Is there anything not mentioned here in these 15 verses?
-
How could you get this much information that just spans
-
the whole globe in 15 verses?
-
There's a lot that isn't mentioned. Right? And yet they
-
say that they make sure these, we know this.
-
Right.
-
Now, you talked about Doag earlier. He's not been mentioned yet.
-
Doag is specifically not mentioned until right here, and then
-
he's in the next chapter three times.
-
Oh, I thought he was the guy that didn't like Saul.
-
I didn't go back and check, so.
-
So, you've got to admit, this is one of those
-
things that make you go, hmm. Did this really happen?
-
I mean, you realize everything that happened here.
-
It's not just, did this really happen? Like, why was
-
it even mentioned? Like, it doesn't even go with anything
-
else that happened. No.
-
It is a hodgepodge of thoughts.
-
Like, when you go on to the next chapter, like,
-
it doesn't go with anything. It doesn't go with the story.
-
Or does it? Because the next chapter begins with Saul
-
doing something very bad, and the excuse is what happened
-
in this chapter.
-
Right? I suppose. Right? But David isn't really.
-
Crazy.
-
He's just pretending to be crazy because he's flipping out.
-
But his thought process was sound. In order to prevent
-
my death and not do anything bad to Saul, I
-
have to go to my enemies.
-
Right?
-
And as I've already pointed out, Jesus is incorporated all
-
over here. And this is what Jesus had to do.
-
He had to exit Heaven stage left. He had to
-
come here. He had to become our show bread. Did
-
he not say this? I am the bread of life.
-
Did he not say that? When he said it, was
-
he not really telling his disciples? Hey, man. You know,
-
first Samuel chapter 21, don't you? That's what's going to happen.
1 Samuel 21 chapter mention
-
But they couldn't hear it. But yet, yes, he did
-
call himself the living bread. And this directly ties into
-
this bread we're talking about here, of which the priests
-
were killed. And I can say this. I know what
-
God has threatened to do to these priests. I don't
-
think I know. I intimately know. He says himself, that
-
when he does get up and intervene, he will leave
-
their bodies strewn out all over the ground. That's what
-
he says. He's going to butcher them. And he specifically
-
calls them the bad shepherds. So this isn't the sheep.
-
It's the shepherds of whom the head of, do not
-
be misled, who leads the clergy at this time. You
-
think it's the Pope. You think it's the superintendent of
-
your denomination, right? It's not. It's Doag. And Doag means churchgoers.
-
It doesn't mean those of us that's been born again.
-
When you say Doag, what you mean is you mean Esau.
-
So they're churchgoers, but they've not been born again.
-
He's the herdsman of the goats.
-
He's the chief herdsman. This is what's going on here.
-
It's the herdsman, specifically the goats, rather than the sheep. Exactly.
-
And take note.
-
Take note.
-
We've already talked about many times how the false prophet
-
is King Saul.
-
Right?
-
So this is literally coming out and encoding it to
-
you that these modern... Pharisees and Sadducees are going to
-
be working for that false prophet. You're not going to
-
know it. It's not going to be out in public.
-
But this is why the great apostasy takes place.
-
But if you look, you will see.
-
It's plainly there. It's plainly there. And you're being told
-
up front, you better get out.
-
Okay?
-
Okay? You better get out. And one thing is for sure. Rachel,
-
let's talk about Grandma, right? Would Grandma ever believe it
-
if you came to her and told Grandma that Matthew
-
and Rachel would skip church for two years? Would she
-
believe it?
-
I think she would. I think she would.
-
Really? Yeah. She only would ever believe that?
-
She would be concerned. She would believe it, but she
-
would be concerned. She would be like, what's going on?
-
Right. She would know in her heart of hearts, Jesus
-
was not running the church. She'd know that.
-
Right. Well, she would be, well, she would, she's human,
-
so she wouldn't know. She wouldn't have known.
-
Let me rephrase the question to you. What would have
-
to happen for grandma to not go back to church
-
for two years? Having seen something very evil happen at church.
-
That being the case, that's what's being said here and
-
we're supposed to know it. That's why I've repeatedly pointed
-
out to you that King Saul is the false prophet.
-
It's said that many times. Said that many times and
-
now you know, okay, Read it again. Let's go down
-
here to verse 7. Now a certain man of the
-
servants of Saul, not just anybody, was the head of
-
his herdsmen okay Saul was there that day detained before
-
the Lord and his name was Doag and Edomite the
-
chief of the herdsmen who belonged to Saul so this
-
dude Doag was in the cabinet. There was the general,
-
there was the secretary, and there was the chief herdsman.
-
You're supposed to see all that. You're supposed to understand
-
what's going on. So, I'm going to ask you this question.
-
Are you sure any of this happened and this just
-
isn't a poetic way of God to tell you what's
-
to come? Because that's what he did.
-
Well, no. God doesn't do that. I'm sure it actually happened. Right.
-
But he's specifically choosing what events.
-
We are told. Right. Because that's what he's going to do.
-
And in the end, we need to understand this, that
-
we are going to flee Yes, we are. And we're
-
going to be delivered. Right. And do not be misled.
-
What is after us is not natural. What's after us
-
is being supernaturally directed. And the only hope you have
-
in this time is God's word, which is called what?
-
The sword of the spirit. That's what God's word is called. So,
-
you are to wrap it up, right, Rachel? You've talked
-
about this many times. You've even asked me, Matthew, maybe
-
we should get Bibles and put them in Ziploc bags
-
and bury them in very different places so we can
-
get to them, right? This was your idea, not mine, right?
-
Yeah. There's plenty. They're given away free sometimes through stores.
-
People don't want them anymore.
-
Right. So, I mean.
-
wouldn't be that hard to just, I mean, we've got
-
all kinds of Bibles, you know, ones that, you know,
-
different translations that we've gone through, Bibles from when we
-
were children, Bibles that are so tattered we dare not,
-
you know, mess with the pages too much.
-
We got Grandpa's Bible.
-
Yeah. We do. So, but, you know, and I've said
-
this before that when you read Acts when you read
-
through it the third or fourth time you read through
-
it you realize that it reads like a map so
-
if nothing else you had a New Testament if you
-
didn't have anything else it would be better to have
-
the complete Bible but if you know Whatever you can get.
-
If you're going to grab anything, don't grab your cloak. Right. Amen? So.
-
So anyway, we're getting ready to find out in the
-
next chapter what the chief herdsman does to the priest.
-
this is going to happen, thus saith the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, yes,
-
they will. Yes, they will. And it's crazy, but people
-
really don't get that the people that participate in the
-
Great Apostasy is the ones going to be doing the beheading. Yes,
-
they are.
-
Yes, they are. So, any.
-
Other comments?
-
I don't.
-
Crazy 15 verses. Literally. Yep, they are crazy. Shaga.
-
Also.
-
What? Yeah.
-
I feel like the bread situation is going to happen
-
again in the.
-
You must be born again.
-
In the time when we're fleeing, the 45 days when
-
we flee, this is going to happen again. We might
-
just be stopping by to get the Bibles. We know
-
you got them. You're not using them.
-
You're not using them.
-
You got that new translation over there.
-
Rachel, this has already been prophesied. This is exactly what's
-
going to happen. I want you to read the verse, okay?
-
So read the verse.
-
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the
-
altar the souls of those who had been slain for
-
the word of God and for their testimony which they held.
-
Okay.
-
All right.
-
So that being the case, because that is the case,
-
you would think that you just prophesied, huh?
-
No, I didn't prophesy. It's just here.
-
It's already here.
-
You just got to read it enough that you can
-
finally see it.
-
Right. You have to read it enough. Before you can
-
finally see it.
-
Right. Right. You can't just read it one time and say, okay,
-
I did the read through the Bible in a year plan.
-
I'm good. There's people who do that every year, right?
-
Oh, yeah. There are. There are.
-
They are experts. I still haven't learned. They're experts. What
-
have you been doing? Right. They're expert churchgoers. I mean,
-
they got going to church down pat. They really do.
-
They haven't taken notes.
-
Yep.
-
They're taking notes like a pro.
-
Yep.
-
Like, I don't even take notes. Like, how are you
-
not getting this? You're taking notes. But you must be
-
born again.
-
You must be born again. You must partake of the
-
living bread.
-
You must....
-
You can only be born again through his blood. I mean,
-
water baptism, just don't cut it. You have to be
-
baptized through the Holy Spirit. So, but they have their checklist.
-
They have this list of seven sacraments that if they
-
do this checklist, God is forced to let them into
-
heaven no matter what they've done.
-
Right. And they have their journaling Bible too. Right.
-
Right. They have all kinds of.
-
They've got all these different colors, everything. Yes.
-
Yep.
-
It's not a checklist. You have to pick up your
-
own cross. You have.
-
You know, it's not enough to say that you'll climb
-
up a telephone pole for Jesus, because what if God
-
doesn't want you to do it? Especially if you're the
-
kind of person that's pretty good at climbing telephone poles.
-
You know? No. Maybe God just wants you to not
-
fight with your neighbor. That's too hard. So I'll just
-
climb up the telephone pole.
-

-

-

-
All right, everybody. Anybody got any questions or comments? Going once.
-

-
recording right there. There it shall lie. Till next time,
-
ladies and gentlemen. God bless. Godspeed.
