  9. But it will be in the demonstration of your spirit and of your power.

  10. Thank you, Heavenly Father.

  11. Jesus is glorified.

  12. In Jesus' name we pray.

  13. Amen.

  14. Good morning, everyone.

  15. We are welcome to church today.

  16. And uh we have some work to do.

  17. Amen.

  18. Are you with me this morning?

  19. As I said, we have some work to do in scriptures.

  20. Hallelujah.

  21. Alright, so this morning we're gonna be looking at occupine with authority.

  22. I'm gonna kick off reading Ephesians chapter one.

  23. And it's a long read, so you'll read with me.

  24. Actually, we'll read, we'll pray, then we'll read about seven other scriptures, and then I think we can start.

  25. Hallelujah.

  26. Amen.

  27. So Ephesians chapter one from verse 15.

  28. Therefore, I also after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you.

  29. Making mention of you in my prayers.

  30. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

  31. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling.

  32. What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints?

  33. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His mighty power, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named Not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

  34. And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.

  35. Grant me revelation and understanding.

  36. Let me understand the greatness of the power that you have given unto me so that I can occupy with the authority and do that you have asked me to do.

  37. And stay faithful to the assignment in the name of the Lord Jesus.

  38. Father, we thank you.

  39. And a man thank you that allia satanire.

  40. The Bible says that far above all the titles and powers and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also that which is God.

  41. He put all things under his feet and gave him to be head over all things of the church.

  42. His body, the fullness of him that feels all in all.

  43. Father, we thank you.

  44. Lord, we receive revelation knowledge today today.

  45. Thank you, Father, for insight into the secrets and mysteries and the deep and intimate knowledge of yourself.

  46. Thank you, Lord.

  47. Open our eyes that we may understand the scriptures that we receive understanding this morning.

  48. We give you praise and glory.

  49. Thank you, Father, for understanding.

  50. Thank you, Father, for understanding.

  51. Thank you, Father, for understanding.

  52. Our spirits are enlightened, our minds comprehend.

  53. We give you praise and glory.

  54. Thank you, Lord.

  55. In Jesus' name, we have prayed.

  56. Matthew chapter 28.

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  57. I may not get back to them again, but we will make reference to them, I believe, as we go on.

  58. We're going to look at seven different scriptures this morning.

  59. So Matthew 28 from verse 18.

  60. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

  61. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

  62. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

  63. Amen.

  64. Mark chapter 16, and then we'll read from verse 15.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  65. Mark chapter 16, we'll read from verse 15.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  66. And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

  67. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.

  68. And these signs will follow those who believe.

  69. Amen.

  70. Luke chapter 10 and verse 19.

    Luke 10 chapter mention

  71. I hope you're not tired.

  72. We still have.

  73. No, you can't be.

  74. The joy of the Lord is your strength.

  75. Luke chapter 10 and verse 19.

    Luke 10 chapter mention

  76. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

  77. Good.

  78. Luke chapter 19 and verse 13.

    Luke 19 chapter mention

  79. Luke chapter 19 and verse 13.

    Luke 19 chapter mention

  80. So the in the NKJV he says, So he called 10 of his servants, delivered to them 10 miners, and said to them, Do business till I come.

  81. The KJV says, And he called his ten servants and delivered that and delivered them 10 pounds and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

  82. So let's go to the next one, Ephesians chapter 4 from verse 25.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  83. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 25.

    Ephesians 4:25

  84. Solan, it's good to see you.

  85. Amen.

  86. The Bible says, Greet your friends by name.

  87. Have you seen it before?

  88. Praise God.

  89. If you've not seen somebody for a long time, just say hello to them.

  90. Glory to God.

  91. So Ephesians chapter 4 from verse 25.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  92. Therefore, putting away lying, let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

  93. Verse 26, be angry and do not sin.

  94. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath.

  95. Verse 27 says, nor give place to the devil.

  96. Okay.

  97. First Peter chapter 5, verse 8 and 9.

    1 Peter 5:8

  98. 1 Peter or 1 Peter chapter 5, 8 and 9.

    1 Peter 5 chapter mention

  99. You are doing good this morning.

  100. As you did yesterday as well.

  101. And as we always do.

  102. Amen.

  103. Be sober, be vigilant.

  104. Because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

  105. Resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same suffering are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

  106. You know you belong to the brotherhood.

  107. People are cultists.

  108. Amen.

  109. James chapter 4, verse 6 and 7.

    James 4:6

  110. But he gives more grace.

  111. Therefore, he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

  112. Therefore, submit to God.

  113. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

  114. Hallelujah.

  115. One of the most powerful statements I've heard.

  116. I have been, I met the Lord in 1989.

  117. I wandered and stumbled and wumbled, and then sometime in I think 1996, I balanced out and have remained steady till then.

  118. But one of the statements I've heard that I think about and it's very important is that Satan is afraid of you.

  119. Satan is afraid of you.

  120. No matter, I mean, just think about it a little, right?

  121. Because where we grew up from, they have this very funny saying that kind of sounds spiritual.

  122. It said, um, Satan has power but doesn't have salvation.

  123. That's where they say it in the in the Yoruba language from West Africa.

  124. And I keep thinking, what power does he have?

  125. Because the Bible clearly states that he has been stripped of all power, right?

  126. But we'll get to that very shortly, okay?

  127. But just keep that, we'll get back there.

  128. So we're talking about occupying with authority, and and it in and we've been talking about occupy, you know what occupy means, right?

  129. And when Jesus, um, before Jesus started his ministry full-time, I think he was 12 years old, they went to um Jerusalem, they went to now, and then his parents thought he had gone with the other members of the family for three days.

  130. They were looking for him, and then they found him in the temple, and then they said, We've been looking for him.

  131. Why did he do this to us?

  132. And looked at them and said, I mean, you guys should have understood that I should be about my father's business.

  133. So he actually used the word business, right?

  134. So that occupy also means do business.

  135. So, of course, we need to understand what the business of the father is.

  136. Amen.

  137. And and I like the word business because it also means that anyone that does business does it for one reason.

  138. Why do you do business?

  139. Profit.

  140. So that means that when we do the father's business, we should expect a profiting.

  141. Are we together?

  142. Right?

  143. So when we understand what the father's business is, that means occupying, and I I intentionally use occupying because it's present continuous, it is not a one-off thing.

  144. You don't serve God once and go because he doesn't bless you once and go, it is blessings, not bless.

  145. So that means it's continuous.

  146. I mean, with with blessings, I will bless you.

  147. With multiplying, I will multiply you.

  148. That's what that's the promise he made to Abraham, right?

  149. So occupying with authority refers to us managing, protecting, expanding the territory that has already been won.

  150. So occupying with authority means we are managing, we are protecting, and that we're expanding the territory that has already been won.

  151. Jesus has won a territory for us.

  152. And I use the word territory because everywhere you find yourself is your territory.

  153. Wherever you find yourself, whether you are listening from Africa or you're listening from North America, wherever or you are in Europe, because our pastors are in Europe and we thank God for their lives, right?

  154. Wherever you find yourself, that place is your territory for that time, and you have a responsibility to manage, to protect, and to expand.

  155. Are we together?

  156. All right, so it means that this your focus right now in occupying with authority is to enforce or yeah, enforce the legal victory that we have.

  157. So, you know, we are not fighting, amen.

  158. You are not fighting.

  159. Our ex our assignment is to enforce the victory that we already have, and enforcement is very beautiful, you know why?

  160. Because if God says go and enforce, it gives you what you need to enforce.

  161. Are we together?

  162. He gives you what you need to enforce, right?

  163. So, and I want to say this as well that occupying is a mandate, is a command, is an assignment, and it is something that is not passive.

  164. Glory to God.

  165. And and we are supposed to do business, we are supposed to manage God's resources, what God has given to us to manage.

  166. There is nowhere you find yourself that there's no assignment for you to do, irrespective of what you do, whether you are a doctor in the lab or in the hospital, right, or you work in the city of Calgary and you're counting money or making money, or you are doing business or an architect or a student, whatever it is, or we're not giving people injections and allow making them cry, whatever it is that you do, right?

  167. You have I have a doctor friend who is um um psych, psych, psych.

  168. And she told me that every time she that there's hardly any time she counsels people that she doesn't eventually lead them to Christ.

  169. I mean, that is ministry without being on the pulpit.

  170. You don't even go look for them, they come to her.

  171. And then after they have gone and on, I said, Do you know that?

  172. Okay, are you taking your medications?

  173. Are you taking this and all that and all that?

  174. Um, do you know there is something more that can give you permanent solution?

  175. And you know, most of those patients will say that, so why have you been wasting my time?

  176. I want that one, and to the glory of God, it has not failed to work in this city.

  177. Praise the Lord.

  178. What we are enforcing is the finished work of Christ, and I like it because it is finished work, not an unfinished work.

  179. It's not something that it's not something that is still in the pipeline, it's something that is done, it's a done deal.

  180. And the beauty of it is that he has given us what we need, right?

  181. To do what we have to do.

  182. We don't fight for victory, we enforce the victory that has been established.

  183. Yeah, we establish it.

  184. So it is important for us to understand that you know, you know, you know, have you had people say that why are you fighting a lost battle?

  185. But in this case, why are you not enforcing an established victory?

  186. And we're gonna look at different areas where we need to do this, where how we have to occupy right with authority, okay?

  187. So, but let's start from here.

  188. And it's it's good for us to understand what Jesus did, or maybe let's just say a reminder of what he did.

  189. So we're gonna read Colossians, right?

  190. Colossians chapter 2 and verse 15.

    Colossians 2 chapter mention

  191. We'll read from the MKJV first from the New King James version, and then I want us to read it from the CPT, and we're gonna read it together when we get to CBT.

  192. Okay, let's read it together both ways, all right?

  193. So in the New King James version, we're gonna read it together.

  194. So we're gonna read okay, let's start from verse 14.

  195. Let's do verse 14 and then 15, so that we understand what Jesus did.

  196. Amen.

  197. Say, I have understanding in the name of Jesus.

  198. So let's read together.

  199. One, two, go, haven't wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us, and he has taken it out of the way, haven't nailed it to the cross, haven't dis having disarmed principalities and powers, he made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them in it.

  200. So I the kind of movies I like watching action movies, right?

  201. I used to like horror movies, I'm never fearful because they acted it, and so I don't know why people are afraid of horror movies, but don't watch horror movies if you don't like it, amen.

  202. But then when you see war movies, right, in the that that they shot in those ancient days, and then when they go to battle and they win, and then they and then they bring in the prisoners, you know the way they will enter the city, and the whole city will start shouting and hailing.

  203. That was exactly what Jesus did.

  204. He made a mess of Satan and ensured that everybody knew what happened, and then he tried he made a public spectacle of him.

  205. So the devil has zero power, he has deceit, is deceptive, but he has zero power.

  206. That is why a fiction that we read says, Don't give place to the devil.

  207. One transition says, Don't give the devil a foothold, don't give him space, choke him and get him out of your life.

  208. Amen.

  209. So let's look at TPT, Colossians chapter 2, verse 14 and 15.

    Colossians 2:14

  210. Oh, praise God.

  211. He can't say glory to God.

  212. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus.

  213. You are not defeated, you have never been defeated, and you will never be defeated, because God has destroyed the power of the enemy over your life.

  214. So stand straight, look up, get yourself together and move on.

  215. Because defeat is not your own, victory is what belongs to you.

  216. Hallelujah.

  217. All right, so Colossians chapter 2, verse 14 and 15.

    Colossians 2:14

  218. He cancelled out every legal violation we had on our record, and the oldest arrest warrant that stood to indict us.

  219. He re raised it all.

  220. Our sins, our stained soul.

  221. Oh, yeah, we're supposed to read together.

  222. He deleted it all, and they cannot be.

  223. I like that one.

  224. He deleted it all and can never be retrieved.

  225. You know, when you reach when you delete something, you go to it's not even the recycle bin, it can't be found.

  226. Hallelujah.

  227. I mean, that will excite you.

  228. Nothing, see, the devil has nothing against you, absolutely nothing.

  229. Glory to God.

  230. Okay, let's continue to read.

  231. Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of do read some scriptures that you just feel like shouting.

  232. I saw somewhere that did that.

  233. This place is soundproof.

  234. That's what that means.

  235. I can shout, but glory to God.

  236. Amen.

  237. Let me tell you something.

  238. Uh, once in a while, you can lock yourself in your room or in your apartment and shout.

  239. You're shouting because of what the Lord has done.

  240. All right, so verse 15.

  241. Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us.

  242. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph.

  243. He was he was not their prisoner.

  244. Exclamation.

  245. He was not their prisoner.

  246. Can we take that a little further?

  247. Glory to God.

  248. Yes, come.

  249. I I need Eri this morning.

  250. Glory to Jesus.

  251. And this is greatness coming my way.

  252. Glory to God.

  253. Is a great gonna be a he's not going to be.

  254. He's a great, he's a great man.

  255. He's a great man.

  256. Glory to Jesus.

  257. He's a great man.

  258. How many of you love Eri?

  259. So you're loved as well.

  260. Amen.

  261. Now you can imagine somebody saying that I love Erie's head, but I don't love his leg.

  262. You know, doesn't mean you know you can't love Aries' head, I don't love his leg.

  263. If you have to love, you have to love him entirely and completely.

  264. So Jesus is the head of the church.

  265. We are the body.

  266. So Jesus is the head.

  267. We are the body.

  268. So if Jesus is not their prisoner, they are his.

  269. That means that the devil is your prisoner.

  270. Those demons are your prisoners that you can command.

  271. Go get out in the name of Jesus.

  272. We put hands together for a re again.

  273. The great guy.

  274. And go and sit down.

  275. Thank you.

  276. Hallelujah.

  277. All right, so let's get into the study.

  278. We know we know we have just we've not started.

  279. We're just about to start.

  280. Praise God forevermore.

  281. How do we enforce the victory that we already have that has already been won and established?

  282. We're going to look at five things this morning of how to enforce the victory that is already ours, that has already been won and established by Jesus.

  283. Glory to God.

  284. The first way is by knowledge.

  285. Knowledge of our rights and privileges in Christ.

  286. The Lord said, if it is not in Christ, it is not for you.

  287. Anything that is not in Christ is not for you.

  288. In other words, there are some things you need to make up your mind that you want to reject now.

  289. Don't take anything from the devil.

  290. As in, don't take anything.

  291. As you don't take anything from the devil.

  292. You know, there are some times that we get used to some things.

  293. You know, I used to have this migraine, it just comes once in a while, and then you call it my migraine.

  294. It is not yours, it is borrowed.

  295. See, anything that is not in Christ is not yours.

  296. Because we can see the truth that we can easily get used to a lot of things.

  297. We can we can we can you get used to a lot of things.

  298. We can get used to not having enough, we can get used to that pain that comes once in a while.

  299. When I was in the university, prior to that time, every time I sleep, or sometimes I sleep, a force will just come, a demon, and will press me on the bed.

  300. And I used to hate it, and I used to feel so helpless.

  301. I said, You want me to cry, God, really allow this thing to kill me?

  302. Then after a while, I began to understand who I was in Christ Jesus.

  303. And I said, and I and I and I heard that statement that I mentioned earlier that Satan is afraid of you.

  304. And I started thinking, if he's afraid of me, then why does he come to just oppress me like that?

  305. So this faithful night or very early morning, I think it was about 2 a.m.

  306. in the morning, it was in the year 1996.

  307. I remember very well.

  308. Yeah.

  309. And I was there sleeping.

  310. And as I opened my eyes, I could sense that there was something in the room.

  311. And as I wanted to stand up, I couldn't move my hand, I couldn't move the leg.

  312. And I said, Well, the next thing is to say Jesus.

  313. Then I I I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not.

  314. I felt a hand close my mouth.

  315. I'm like, and sincerely, instead of fear, I was very angry.

  316. I felt like me.

  317. That was the feeling.

  318. And if and when when Jesus eventually came out, I just sensed that this thing ran.

  319. And literally, I just jumped from the mattress and I opened around.

  320. I started running.

  321. And I said, If if well, I'm not sure if this is good English, but I said, if they burn you well, try it again.

  322. That if you try that again, and how many years ago is that now?

  323. 30 years, it has never happened again.

  324. Because when you know who you are, the Bible says you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

  325. See, Satan is afraid.

  326. Don't take nonsense from the devil.

  327. God did not redeem a weakling, God redeemed us and gave us power.

  328. So when you have knowledge of who you are in Christ Jesus, you will not take anything from the devil.

  329. And one of the understanding we need to have is that God has given us that name of Jesus.

  330. There is power in the name of Jesus.

  331. Not only that, he has given us the authority, in fact, he has given us the power of attorney to use that name.

  332. And that was why when Peter went to the Peter and John went to the gate golf beautiful, they were going to the synagogue to pray in the hour of prayer.

  333. When they saw that crippled guy, that paralyzed man, he said, silver or gold, I don't have.

  334. But I like his next statement.

  335. He said, That which I have.

  336. Yes.

  337. Make the name of Jesus your own.

  338. Because it is, it's not something you are trying to get, it is what has been given to you.

  339. And I mean, that name does wonders.

  340. I mean, don't let's even go there.

  341. So let's look at Philippians chapter 2 and verse 5 this morning.

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  342. Glory to God.

  343. There is something about the name of Jesus.

  344. There's something about the name of Jesus.

  345. Hi.

  346. Philippians chapter 2 from verse 5.

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  347. Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus.

  348. Who being in the form of God did not consider it a robbery to be equal with God.

  349. But made himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant and coming in the likeness of men.

  350. And being found in the appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the death, to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

  351. Therefore, God hath highly exalted him and given him a name that is above every name.

  352. The name that is above every other name.

  353. You know why I like the fact that he has given him a name that is above every name?

  354. That means that anything that has a name will bow to the name of Jesus.

  355. It is one of the reasons why I don't have a problem going to see the doctor.

  356. Tell me what's going on.

  357. Does it have a name?

  358. Fibroid, uh cancer, headache, it has a name.

  359. That's all.

  360. Once it has a name, it will bow under the name of Jesus.

  361. Look at the next verse.

  362. And that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.

  363. In other sense, of those in heaven, so angels bow to that name.

  364. Of those on earth, man bow to that name.

  365. Of those under there, demons bow to that name.

  366. It's all covered.

  367. So that's why we sing demons tremble at your presence.

  368. What almighty God reserve?

  369. Glory, glory, hallelujah.

  370. Everything written about you is great.

  371. So that knowledge of who you are in Christ.

  372. You know, I can give you an assignment which will which will which will bless your life, right?

  373. Open the New Testament, the epistles, and find out everywhere it is written in Christ, in whom, in him.

  374. My grandpa in the Lord, Reverend Kennedy Hagen, wrote a book called In Him.

  375. Find that book, it will bless your life.

  376. You will find all those promises that talk about who you are and what you have in Christ.

  377. Meditate on those things.

  378. Give yourselves wholly to them, and your profiting will appear for all to see.

  379. Hallelujah.

  380. Number two, and number one, I said, knowledge of our right and privileges in Christ.

  381. Number two is active stewardship.

  382. A few weeks ago, or maybe a few some months back, Pastor Dekole talked about stewardship.

  383. Active stewardship.

  384. So it this simply means using the name of Jesus to undo the works of the devil in your domain.

  385. Using the name of Jesus.

  386. That's why I talked about the name of Jesus on the first point.

  387. Using the name of Jesus to undo the things that happened in your domain.

  388. Glory be to God.

  389. Your domain starts with your family.

  390. As parents here, our children should not go to hell.

  391. Then we talk about our siblings.

  392. Then we talk about our parents.

  393. Then we talk about our friends.

  394. Then talk about our colleagues at work.

  395. Then we talk about everyone in your sphere of influence.

  396. You know why?

  397. You know, you know the reason why you are saved is because you can get them saved.

  398. Have you find yourself in a place in which we are the only one that is born again?

  399. Oh, you should be happy.

  400. Because that is what God wants you to do to get every other person around there saved.

  401. In 1 Timothy chapter 2, and Pastor Femi PF alluded to that scripture on Thursday.

    1 Timothy 2 chapter mention

  402. He said, First of all, I exhort first of all that that therefore I exhort first of all.

  403. Please say first of all.

  404. You know, first of all means first of all.

  405. Supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks be made for all men.

  406. Verse 2 says, For kings and for everyone that is in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

  407. The third verse says, For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who will have all men.

  408. He desires all men to be saved and come to knowledge of the truth.

  409. So, first of all, means that our really first assignment in occupying is to pray.

  410. I mean, I don't understand, or maybe let's put it this way every believer should just pray.

  411. In fact, you should have a list of people you are praying for to be saved for starters.

  412. So when I'm talking about prayers, I'm not talking about you praying for your needs, right?

  413. God, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me.

  414. Because he has given you all that pertains to life and godliness.

  415. Glory to God.

  416. And remember what Pastor KDO said that the blessing you are looking for is in the work you are not doing.

  417. And this is one of those walks.

  418. This walk.

  419. You know, it was when Job prayed for his friends that God restored him.

  420. Even in his state.

  421. Was it Tenami or Senia?

  422. These guys, they always ask me a lot of questions and they put me on my toes.

  423. And then I checked the time was past 2 a.m.

  424. What's going on here?

  425. Amen.

  426. You must have a list of those you pray for.

  427. A believer must be prayerful.

  428. First of all, I exhort that prayers, supplications, intercession, and giving of thanks be made for all men.

  429. All I know you have issues.

  430. I have too.

  431. We have things we are dealing with, amen.

  432. But we're not going to allow those things to stop us from doing what God wants us to do.

  433. Praise the Lord.

  434. So there are some times that we put those things aside, not because we don't care that we got for God to fix them.

  435. But let me tell you this.

  436. Let me say this and never forget.

  437. If you mind God's business, He will mind your own.

  438. And anything that is important to you is important to God.

  439. I think I saw one of one of my sisters there with a baby.

  440. Right?

  441. That baby needs diapers.

  442. But but the mother does not need it.

  443. But because that diaper is important to the baby, she must get it.

  444. You can't go to the grocery and not go get one.

  445. Do you need it?

  446. No.

  447. But does the child need it?

  448. Yes.

  449. God does not need what we need.

  450. But because it is our own need, it becomes his own need.

  451. So don't even get it twisted.

  452. God cares about you.

  453. But he needs you to trust him enough to go ahead and do what he has asked you to do.

  454. Glory to God.

  455. Your friends, your everybody, just pray.

  456. Glory to God.

  457. Number three, establishing and maintaining spiritual boundaries.

  458. I'm looking at my time, so I should be able to pitch a little more on this.

  459. Establishing and maintaining spiritual boundaries is one of the ways we enforce the victory that we have in Christ Jesus.

  460. As a child of God, it is within your rights to dictate and control the affairs of your life.

  461. You should decide what happens to you.

  462. Are you with me?

  463. There are some things you should not just accept, don't take it.

  464. Last Sunday we went somewhere to go and do some stuff, and by the time I get got home, I had a very terrible backache.

  465. It was so bad that I don't think I could even bend.

  466. So the following morning, I had to go to work.

  467. And I normally drive about 15 minutes to work.

  468. So when I woke up, I was feeling the pain.

  469. Number one, there's even 50 a.m.

  470. prayer.

  471. And I usually wake up at 5 a.m.

  472. When I woke up, I said, back, you better follow me.

  473. I will leave.

  474. Is that I leave you on the bed or you follow me?

  475. I literally said, I'm not going to allow anything.

  476. And that same morning I did full workout.

  477. I just ignored the thing.

  478. Of course, you can, you know, you know the rest is gone now because I just told myself I will not allow anything to stop me.

  479. As an absolutely nothing, as a believer, you have control over the affairs of your life.

  480. Protect your mental health.

  481. Guard your heart.

  482. Don't allow any negative thoughts to live rent-free in your head.

  483. Don't.

  484. Some of them come because you spend too much time on social media ingesting all those trash that they put in there.

  485. Every time you open it, put that spiritual filter.

  486. That just, you know, there's this there's this uh there's this machine that actually when you're processing tomatoes, right?

  487. It will accept the ripe ones and kick off the unripe ones.

  488. Do something like that.

  489. Just no, this one, I'm not taking this.

  490. Don't, don't, don't, don't take in everything hook line, sinker, fisherman, fish, net boats, and everything.

  491. Push some things away.

  492. Something are not healthy for you, don't even accept them.

  493. That you have a right to do.

  494. Push those things away.

  495. They shouldn't be there.

  496. Remember that Satan is afraid of you.

  497. You have you are put on Christ.

  498. So you can walk in victory.

  499. You can decide.

  500. You can tell, see, no, no way, go out.

  501. The first sign that believers have is that in the name of you they will cast out devils.

  502. That's the first one, no, even before saying that we speak in new tongue.

  503. It said, In my name, they will do what they will cast out devils.

  504. So it's not just that you're looking for your one demon anywhere.

  505. Any film that has any appearance of evil, you cast out.

  506. And I'm going to show you something else now.

  507. Glory to God.

  508. So, what was that number?

  509. Number number four, I call it proactive presence.

  510. Right?

  511. Proactive presence is being proactive anywhere you are, and being very spiritually sharp.

  512. Right?

  513. Because there are many things we don't, I mean, it's good for you to rightly interpret what goes on.

  514. The Bible says that there is a spirit that is at work in the children of disobedience.

  515. Remember?

  516. I think that's in Ephesians chapter 2, right?

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  517. And then every time you see people around you misbehave, it is not them, it is the spirit at work.

  518. And if some believers are not careful, those spirits even walk with them.

  519. In Matthew chapter 6, sorry, Matthew chapter 16.

Matthew 6 chapter mention Matthew 16 chapter mention

  520. Right?

  521. And then Peter said, Thou art Christ, the Son of the Living God.

  522. And Jesus said, Flesh and blood are not revealed out to you.

  523. Right?

  524. So that was Peter in the spirit.

  525. Then a few verses after, Jesus telling them, I mean, I'm I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I have to go die, you know, and all that said.

  526. No, you will not die.

  527. No, you will not die.

  528. He didn't know that he had switched to the flesh.

  529. But Jesus, Jesus looked at Peter and he turned and said to Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan.

  530. But who did he turn to?

  531. Who did he turn to?

  532. Then who did he say should get behind him?

  533. So that means that Satan was playing around with Peter.

  534. Praise the Lord.

  535. You know, in Acts chapter 16 as well, there was a case of this girl that had this spirit of divination.

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  536. When did Paul's come down?

  537. And he she was saying the right scene.

  538. These are the men of God that has come to show us the way of salvation.

  539. And the Bible says she did it many days.

  540. The Bible said Paul got angry.

  541. Paul was greatly annoyed.

  542. What's all this nonsense?

  543. You must get greatly annoyed with some things.

  544. And he turned and said to who?

  545. Check.

  546. He said to who?

  547. So he didn't address the damsel, address the spirit.

  548. Come and I command you in words in the name of Jesus to come out of her.

  549. And I like it.

  550. The Bible even gives us the gender of the spirit.

  551. Is a he demon.

  552. Because he said, and he came out that very hour.

  553. Yes, there's a he demon, not a she demon, a he demon possessing a she person.

  554. Let's get out in the name of Jesus.

  555. Glory to God.

  556. Let me take the last one and I'll close.

  557. My time is up.

  558. Faith and boldness.

  559. Faith and boldness.

  560. We need to have faith.

  561. And I'm going to explain this in a couple of minutes, and then we can do some praying, and then we'll close.

  562. Oh, I'll close rather.

  563. Faith in the name of Jesus.

  564. So in uh uh let's look at um Mark chapter 16 again from verse 15.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  565. And then we're going to look at one or two other things.

  566. In Mark chapter 16 from verse 15, I'm going to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  567. Um, he who believes and is baptized will be saved, and he that believes not that will be damned.

  568. Now it says this sign shall follow them that believe.

  569. In my name, they will cast out devils.

  570. So he said, These signs will follow them that believe, that believe in what that believe that Jesus died and resurrected and got saved, right?

  571. But you know, it seems as if Jesus is saying that in my name they'll cast out demons.

  572. It's not as if there is he's not saying that you you will need faith to do that.

  573. So, brother, if when you are going to your car, right, and you want to drive your car, do you say that in the name of Jesus, I believe that when I get to the car, my car will respond.

  574. I believe that when I put when I when I press the control, the control will work.

  575. I believe that when I start my car, my car will work.

  576. Do you do that?

  577. You don't, you don't do why don't you do that?

  578. Because one, it is your car, and you know how it operates.

  579. Jesus belongs to you.

  580. The name of Jesus belongs to you, and once you know how it operates, you don't need to exercise faith for you to use it.

  581. You you don't need to you don't need to believe and confess that.

  582. I mean, God just decides to bless you and gives you like a million Canadian dollars for you to just play around with, you know.

  583. Glory to Jesus, and and somebody comes with that, the person needs sis.

  584. I I need two thousand dollars, and then you write a check of two thousand dollars for the person.

  585. Do you lose sleep when the person wants to go to the bank?

  586. I'm not trying to paint this picture so that you understand what we have in Christ and how that name of Jesus belongs to us.

  587. That you don't need to start losing, you don't fast and pray to get the name of Jesus to work, it belongs to you.

  588. You have authority in Christ Jesus, you can exercise authority anytime, 24/7 at any point in time.

  589. Glory be to God.

  590. Um, I hope you know that's not an illustration.

  591. Okay, praise God.

  592. Hallelujah, glory to Jesus, amen.

  593. So in Acts chapter 3, I'm gonna close with this, I'm gonna close with this, I'm gonna close with this.

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  594. In Acts chapter 3, when Peter and John went to the gate called beautiful, and they healed that crippled man in verse 6.

    Acts 3 chapter mention

  595. I I've said it before, but let's look at it again.

  596. Then Peter said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I like the way NKJV.

  597. What I do have, what I have in my possession that is mine, that is my personal property.

  598. I give to you.

  599. Now it says, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.

  600. Look at the next verse, and he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bone received strength.

  601. And the guy started jumping and leaping and some assaulting, but some assaulting is not there, that's just my ambition.

  602. Glory to God.

  603. Then he now showed us something in verse 16.

  604. I will close here.

  605. Verse 16.

  606. Look at verse 16.

  607. Because when he came, they started saying a lot of things and all that.

  608. Uh, and and and this is Peter speaking to the people in the synagogue, and he said, And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know.

  609. Yes, the faith which comes through him has given him his perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

  610. Do you have faith in that name?

  611. There is something about the name of Jesus, we have authority in that name, that is how we occupy with authority.

  612. That name of Jesus, that name brings healing.

  613. In fact, I can pray for you now if you're sick in your body and you will be healed because there is power in the name of Jesus, because Jesus is here right now, Jesus is here right now, He is here to meet your needs and sets the cap of Jesus.

  614. How are we standing by fear this morning?
