It says all scripture is given by inspiration of God.

And it's profitable for doctrine.

It's profitable for reproof.

It's profitable for correction for instruction in righteousness.

The next verse now says that that the man of God or the child of God may be complete.

That word complete means to be matured.

All right, may be matured, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

So scripture is what equips us for every good work.

Hallelujah.

All right.

And then uh faith is the foundation of everything we believe in Christ.

By faith we're saved through grace.

Right?

It is by faith that we got saved.

It is by faith that we stay saved.

By faith we got saved.

By faith we stay saved.

Glory to God.

And the foundation is very important.

Remember Psalm 11 and verse 3, I think.

It says, if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Right?

So it's important.

So it's not necessarily that we're laying a foundation as it were, but it kind of looks like that as well.

So this morning we're going to do some doctrine.

Um, it says that scripture says it is profitable for doctrine.

So we do some doctrine.

There may come a bit of reproof, but know that it is scripture that is reproving us, not me.

All right.

There's some corrections might come.

We know it's scripture that is correcting us, and there's some instructions will also come.

Praise the Lord.

Amen.

So let's pray quickly.

Heavenly Father, we thank you this morning because your word will come unto us, Spirit.

Thank you, Father.

My prayer is for your word to have a free course in our midst.

Thank you, Lord, for our hearts are receptive of your word.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for your supply.

Thank you, Lord, for your word will do that which it's supposed to do this morning, and Jesus will be glorified in Jesus' name.

Amen.

Right.

So living by faith.

We're going to answer two questions or ask and answer two questions this morning.

So the first question is, why should we live by faith?

Why should we live by faith?

Remember, I said we're going to do a bit of a doctory.

So um, if you're planning to write, please be good to do so.

A lot of things here that we're going to look at together.

So, why should we live by faith?

It's because faith is the only way believers are to live and conduct their life.

Faith is the only way, right?

I mean, there are no two ways to it.

It's the only way in which believers are to live and conduct their lives.

The only way in which we are instructed.

I mean, God did not give us as an option, and we're going to see it very shortly.

He didn't make it an option.

He didn't say, Well, you may, you may live by faith, you may try, you can choose to live by as long as you're a believer, is an instruction.

This is how you live.

Which means that if you live outside of faith, but there's a scripture in Romans, I don't want to get ahead of myself that says that anything that is done out of faith is sin.

So that means that if you are not living by faith, you are actually sinning intentionally as this is.

Right?

So it is the only way in which believers are to live and conduct their life.

I mean, I like to call it faith, is our cheat code, it's how we get things done restlessly, right?

The Bible says the labor of the fool wearies all of them because they don't know how to enter into the city.

Faith is what gives us access.

I mean, we got saved by it.

Apostle Paul got very angry with the Galatians at a point.

He said, Oh, foolish Galatians, who has bewitched?

That you started in the spirit by faith.

Do you want to do you now want to be made perfect in the flesh?

Glory to Jesus.

So we're going to look at a few scriptures this morning, okay?

In Habakkuk chapter 2, because uh we're gonna look at five different scriptures where the Bible not just suggests but told us to live by faith, right?

And then we're gonna look at how it applies to some of our day-to-day living, and then how how we'll run with it.

So Habakkuk is an interesting book, right?

Habakkuk chapter two, uh praise God.

So let's read from verse one.

Verse one, verse one, verse one.

I will stand, I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart and watch to see what he will say to me and what I will answer when I'm corrected.

You see the word correction there, right?

So let's raise up, amen.

Then the Lord, then the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain on tablets that he may run who reads it.

For the vision is there for an appointed time, but at the end of it, at the end it will speak and it will not lie.

So it taroth, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

It sounds like tautology.

So it tarried, wait for it, it will come, but it will not tarry.

But behold the proud, behold, the proud, his soul is not upright in him, but the just shall live by his faith, or by our faith.

This kind of makes faith a personal thing.

So the first thing we need to know in this scripture is that this was not Habakkuk speaking, this was God speaking to Habakkuk.

So this statement that says, Behold the proud, behold the proud, his soul is under pride in him, but the just shall live by faith is God.

You see, the the background is Habakkuk just had a conversation with God.

He was he was upset, he was perplexed.

If you read Habakkuk chapter 1 and verse 1, you'll see it there, right?

It talks about his his heart cry that God, why why are you allowing Babylon to treat us like this?

Babylon is a wicked nation, and he was talking about the nation of Judah, right?

And then had that conversation, and then God responded.

This is God responding to him.

So the just shall live by faith in this scripture, right?

How long the Lord and they said, you know, even cry out violence, you will not save, right?

It is in this same book that it says, It comes to pass that the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and then when he got his response, that was why he concluded by saying that in Habakkuk chapter 3, that though the victory may not bloom, right?

And he said, I will yet praise the Lord and I will rejoice in God of my salvation.

We because he knows that the the what God has told him about the deliverance of Judah will come to pass, it may tarry, but it will still come to pass.

Glory to God.

So, in context, this is God saying that he has spoken concerning the deliverance of Judah.

Though that vision may tarry, right?

But it will come to pass.

So wait for it, and it applies to everything he tells us as well.

So God speaks to you about something, or you see a promise in God's word, though it delays, it will still come to pass.

I hope you know that God has never been late before, he has never been late before.

That's why I like Psalm 47, Psalm 46.

Now, God is our reverend and our strength, a very present help in trouble, right?

And then he said, God shall help her, and that right early, or at the break of dawn, right?

So the just shall live by faith.

So clearly, the first time this phrase was mentioned in scriptures was spoken by God, but there is something that negates faith according to what God is saying here, which is pride.

Pride in the context in context, pride means that when God tells you something and you choose not to believe it, you want to go your own way.

That's mean you're proud.

But the just is supposed to live by faith, and without trying to run ahead of ourselves or anything like that, faith is you believing what God has said, faith is you believing what God has said, because we're in a time in which a lot of people are being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.

You need to understand and stand for what to believe and who you believe in.

A lot of things.

I mean, a lot of us are active on social media, even if you are not posting things, you are reading stuff, and a very large percentage of those things are junk.

Because common sense without Bible sense is nonsense, because everything there sounds like common sense, but but it's not Bible sense, so just treat it as not.

Glory to God.

So the just shall live by faith, right?

The word leave is is to live, right?

So so that word leave.

Let me just say one or two things about the word leave in that verse, right?

It's the it's the Hebrew word that sounds like that sounds like I think Toshin's nickname, Tyre.

Right?

It's it's firmness.

It sorry, it means to keep alive, it means to nourish up.

So the just shall live, the just shall be revived, the just shall be kept alive, the just shall be nourished, the just shall be preserved, the just shall recover, the just shall experience restoration by faith.

So that means that everything you need, you want, you want to become, will happen by faith, and that is why you cannot be lazy when it comes to you staying with God's word.

I mean, you can watch a moving of seasons, and you can sit down and finish one season, then quickly use the worship and come and finish the next next season, or you can't sit down and finish the book of Mark.

I mean, some of us have not even read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation before.

If you're in that category, when you get home, just repent and just go and read.

Anyways, praise the Lord.

The other scripture is Romans chapter 1.

Let's look at Romans chapter 1 from verse 14.

Uh, can you give just give it to me in NIV?

Again, it's a letter about our salvation in Christ Jesus, the righteousness that we have by faith, a loving relationship we share.

I'm taking this background so that we can see as well that as a um as a responsible child of God and as a responsible student of God's word, you must always make sure that when you see any scripture, any scripture is quoted, you try to find its context, right?

A few verses before, a few verses after, right?

Because it's important that we first of all look for the literal interpretation of the scripture and then look at its applicability as well.

I am obliged both to Greeks.

I'm reading Romans chapter 1 from verse 14 in the NIV.

I am obliged both to Greek and to non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.

That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

Why am I not ashamed of the gospel?

Because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.

It is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.

So believing is what causes God's power to bring salvation to us.

First to the Jews, then to the Gentile.

But in the gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed.

A righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written, the righteous will live by faith.

So it context says trying to explain how we take advantage of the righteousness of God is by faith.

So which means that there is nothing you have done, there is really there is nothing you did that got you saved.

It was what He did that got us saved.

So there's really nothing.

So when we understand that it is not by our good works, right?

Nobody was born again from their mother's womb.

Right?

I mean, King David, even in the psalm, he even was rough, he said, in sin will we conceive, iniquity will we give it back.

So which means that we need to understand that.

So when it comes to enjoying everything that is in the redemption package, righteousness, healing, and all that, it is by faith.

It is not by what you have done, just receive it.

And and faith, faith works like if I if I hand this over to my sister, how many seconds does it take for her to receive it?

Few seconds.

That that is that is that is what faith.

Faith is a receiver.

Faith is what we used to receive from God.

So if righteousness is by faith, because our own righteousness, they are as filthy rags, so that means we receive from God by faith.

Glory to God.

Need to move.

All right.

Now it's it's really, but when you now look at the just shall live in this context under the new testament, the Greek word it's it means to live a lifetime lively and alive, so the just shall live a lifetime lively and alive by faith.

Because you can live your lifetime alive but not lively, but you can live your lifetime lively and alive by faith, and faith here is again is talking about you just believing God, being fully persuaded that this is what God has said, and you believe it, you accept it, and you walk in it.

Galatians chapter 3.

Galatians chapter 3, from verse from verse 10.

Again, Galatians, in fact, Galatians chapter 3, verse 1, start by saying that you foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, right?

Galatians 3:1

Um apostle Paul can be very tough, right?

And um, and and if you read some of these epistles, you'll see the character.

I mean, you foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you before your before your very eyes, Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.

In other words, I he said, I explained to you how Jesus was crucified.

I showed you because they were not there, they didn't witness it live, right?

Paul even didn't witness the crucifixion, Jesus, right?

But he said, I showed you, you saw it, and it was clear.

So, how come we are now backing up again?

I mean, his issue with them was because some people came and started telling them that you Galatians, because that they are gentle, they are gentle nations, right?

Somewhere under the Roman Empire rule, right?

And he said, and so these guys came and said, Before you can be very born again, number one, you must be circumcised.

And he said, Number two, you have to do some things, we have to practice everything in the Lord.

Do you know how many laws they had in the Old Testament?

They had over 660 laws, both moral laws and ceremonial laws.

I mean, you thought something that is dirty, you have to go wash, and you bring two totodoves, and then they are.

I mean, it was a bloody covenant, it was a bloody mode of worship.

But now that they were born again, he said you cannot go back to those things because those things will enslave you.

All right.

So let's jump to verse 10.

He said, But verse 10, for all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as is written, curse is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of the law.

You know, it kind of sounds, stay there, stay there, please.

It kind of sounds contradictory, right?

It says, for all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written, curse is everyone who does not continue to do the keyword there is everything.

So if you have 600 laws, if you break one, you have broken all.

I mean, the challenge is how do you even remember 600 laws?

Have you seen some books that they'll tell you 100 irrefutable laws of success?

And I'm thinking I'll be lost by the time I'm on number four.

So, how do you want?

I mean, if you can know the hundred by heart, then you are successful already.

Glory to God.

So, what Paul was telling them here that no, this is not the case.

Look at verse 11.

Clearly, no one who relies on the law is justified before God.

You know why?

Because you can.

I have always thought, why did God even give them the law, knowing that it was impossible for them to be able to practice everything in it?

The law showed us that we need Christ.

That was the purpose of the law to show us our inadequacy, to show us that we cannot help ourselves, to show that we needed help.

So trying to push us back into the law, you cannot do this.

I mean, I don't want to even get to the extreme, right?

Of some other things, right?

But just staying with this.

Clearly, no one relies on the law, no one who relies on the law is justified before God because the righteous will live by faith.

You see, the way we got saved is the way we should live our lives.

How did you get saved?

You heard the message of the gospel, you believed it in your heart, you confessed it with your prayer, and it became your reality.

As simple as it sounds, that is as it is.

Praise the Lord.

The just or the righteous shall live by faith.

Let me read it in uh yeah, in NLC.

In NLC from verse 10.

But those who depend on the Lord to make them right with God are under his curse.

For the scripture says, Curse is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God's book of the law.

So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law.

But the scripture says, It is through faith that a righteous person has life.

It is through faith that the righteous person has life.

Verse 12 says, This way of faith is very different from the way of the law, which says it is through obeying the law that the man that the person has life.

So it is through faith, it is through faith.

Hebrews chapter 10.

Let's look at Hebrews chapter 10, and then we're going to take this home very shortly.

Yeah.

Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ.

Now, again, a background.

Uh interestingly, if I had my way, I will have said, let's read everybody, go read the book of Romans, read the book of Galatians, read the book of Hebrews, right?

Read them because it gives you context.

Because you know it was just one letter.

So picking it from the center is uh, if we're not careful, we're trying to explain it in context, right?

Because context is always key when it comes to interpreting scriptures and you understanding it.

Praise the Lord.

So let me give you a quick example of what I'm trying to say, right?

So before I got married to my wife, we were friends, and then I proposed to her, and she said yes, and then we fixed the date and we got married.

Now, when we were friends, the kind of letters I think I used to write poems, then I don't know where it went to now.

But when I was writing some of those things before I proposed, right, the context was different.

After I proposed, then there was an advancement in the context.

Then after marriage, fill in the gap, right?

So now if you if you if you pick any scripture, you need to first of all find out what context was is it being written, right?

You need to find out who wrote it, who was it being, who was the person addressing, and what was the background there.

All right.

So these were Hebrew, these were Christians who were had practiced Judaism, right?

So and they were actually believers.

Up till now, there's still a debate on who wrote the book of Hebrews, right?

But let's even leave that.

But look at the text itself, right?

So every time you open a scripture, you're just looking at okay, because there are some things that were written in scriptures that we need to understand how to interpret them.

Okay, so like a basic rule of thumb is um the the new.

Testament is concealed in the Old Testament, and then the Old Testament is explained or revealed in the new.

So every time you want to explain what to read in the Old Testament, don't just read it and understand that the Old Testament as well has some historical setting.

There are some books in the Bible that are history, there are some books in the Bible that are prophecy, there are some books in the Bible that are revelation.

Right?

Nobody that we know based on Bible history was alive when Genesis happened.

So Moses wrote the book of Genesis.

And Moses wrote what God showed him.

Are you with me?

So Moses never met Abraham.

Moses never met Adam.

But God showed Moses.

Oh, that's why Moses is a special.

I mean, one of the people I want to go see when we get to heaven.

I mean, I'm like, and God said everything.

I mean, he said all the prophets, he showed them things, but he said for Moses, he spoke to him face to face.

So that means that God stood in front of Moses as it were, and Moses sat down and God started telling me and was writing.

And he was writing and he was writing and was writing.

So that means that when you want to explain or interpret Genesis, interpret it with that background.

So we're going in this direction.

You know, the serpent showed up, right?

And then um the Bible said the serpent was possible than all the beasts in the earth and all that.

But you know, but every time you see a snake, don't think of Satan because it is just an imagery of his character, his subtility.

Okay, all right.

Hebrews, Jesus is Lord.

Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ.

Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering.

Now, already he's talking about when people become born again.

I don't know.

I think things are a bit different now.

When we got born again, we faced persecution, serious persecution.

I know some people that they will allow their parents to see, but they will jump the fence to go attend fellowship, right?

And and things like that, right?

We face persecution, but a bit different now because you were born into a Christian home, your parents are Christians and believers.

When God things have changed, amen.

But it is not the same for a lot of other people, all right.

So even though it meant terrible suffering, next verse, please, verse 33.

Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same thing.

Next verse, you suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when you all and what and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy.

You knew this were you know there were better things waiting for you that will last forever.

Verse 35.

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, remember the great reward it brings you.

Verse 36 patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will, then you will receive all that He has promised.

But in just a little while, the coming one will come and not delay.

This sounds like Habakkuk, right?

So you understand now.

This is this is this is the New Testament interpretation of what God showed Habakkuk.

So was like a type and shadow, every the whole world was still in bondage until Jesus came.

So he that will come has come and will still come.

Did you get that?

Jesus has come and he's coming again.

All right, so it now says, For in just a little while, the coming one will come and not delay.

Now look at verse 38, and my righteous ones will live by faith, but I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.

So the context here is you are facing persecution or things are not working, and it may not be where some people is at work.

Is you being told to do some things that is not right, like the testimony of a lady who worked in a legal firm and they told her that she needed to fix some things and falsify something, and she said no, and she was sacked, right?

Because of that, and then she lost her job, and then she was in a meeting, and the Lord spoke to her, and then they called her for an interview, and then when she went for that interview, it's strange, right?

You are you are sitting in an interview, and somebody asked you, said, What did the Lord tell you?

I mean, I mean, you would have expected them or that we said, What did the Lord tell you?

The Lord didn't tell me the person asked the second time, the person asked the third time, and I said, Yes, um, the Lord told me that He's isn't He big enough to take care of me, and things like that.

I remember that minister said she that person was literally just confessing, you know, like when you confess your sins, that kind of a thing, right?

And then the person said, How much do you want to be paid?

And they said that's fine.

When are you going to start?

I said that to say this that miracles still happen by faith, irrespective of what you face, irrespective of so we have to be careful not to allow the system Romans chapter 12 says we should not let the world around us squeeze us into its own moe, so don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, right?

So, because if we're not careful, we can begin to pattern our lives by the way things are, not realizing that there is more to the way things are.

So don't copy the behavior and customs as well.

Thank you, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

I love this scripture, so then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good, acceptable, and perfect.

Glory to God.

So already we have four scriptures that talk about the just shall we by this.

Ideally, the Bible says in the matter of two or three witnesses, every man established.

All right, so we are we will seen four already, but let me take one more, which is second Corinthians chapter five.

If or if this all we've able to do this morning, I think it's fine.

From verse six to eight.

Okay, let's read this first.

All right, amplified classic.

Give me in the amplified classic, second Corinthians chapter five, from six to eight.

So then we are always full of good and hopeful, we are always full of good and hopeful and confident courage.

We know that while we are at home in the body, we are abroad from home with the Lord.

That is that is promised us, all right.

Verse 7 says, For we walk by faith, we regulate our lives and conduct our lives by conviction and belief, respecting man's relationship to God and divine things.

Amplified will always amplify things with trust and holy fervor, thus we walk, not by sight or appearance, right?

So we walk by faith and not by sight.

We walk by faith and not by sight, right?

So we we we take our we we we take our guiding principles from the word, not by the things that we see.

We take our guiding principles from the word, not by the things that we see.

That is what we mean to walk by faith, right?

And um the second reason, so I just read so uh is uh is amazing.

We just answered, we just gave the answer, the first answer to the first question.

All right, so let's just give the second.

So we are we were answering why should we live by faith?

We said faith is the only way believers are to live and conduct their life.

The second one, uh, which is very important, is we cannot please God without faith.

So when Pastor Adecoli was leading prayers and he put up that scripture, I said, I said, Holy Spirit, well done.

Please Him and live for Him.

We're created to live for Him.

Romans chapter 11 and verse 36.

When the choir was singing, for from you are all things, and to you are all things.

Look at Romans chapter 11 and verse 36, for from him and through him, and to him are all things.

Hallelujah.

All things live through him, and all things enter in and tend to consumate and to end in him.

We're created to please him.

So when you have that at the back of your mind, that this life that I am living, am I pleasing him?

The starting point of you pleasing God is to live by faith.

What does the Bible say?

There are some things you find in scripture that they are very difficult or they look difficult.

Let me put it that way: love your neighbor, pray for those who despitefully use you.

Bless and curse not, you know.

Darren, the word curse in in in um in Neroba language, West Africa means shaky, right?

So I remember one day I was saying that the Bible says bless and shake way and curse not.

So whoever that person is, you can bless that person because God will not ask you to do what He hasn't given you the capacity to do, or just just settle that God will not say, uh, hey dear my daughter, do this.

If He tells you that, be rest assured He has given you the capacity to do it.

You may be forgiving somebody and be weeping, but that is just your emotions working.

The greater one on the inside of you has given you the capacity to do what he has told you to do, and again, I don't know why I'm even saying that.

Maybe somebody here needs to forgive someone and just get it done and then move on with your life.

I'm gonna read from verse 1, and let's read in the new King James version of the Bible.

Father God, we thank you.

Now, faith is the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed.

New King James version, please.

Amplified will make me shoot above my time.

Now, faith is the assurance again.

Yeah, now faith is the substance of things hoped for.

Okay, I like KJV.

That's that's my default.

That's fine.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Verse 2, we're gonna read up to verse 6.

For by it, the elders obtained a good report.

Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.

So if you want to frame your world, you have to frame it with the word.

So if God framed the world by his word, your own world has to be framed by the word of God.

Okay, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear, which means if there are some things you want to see in your life, you have the evidence in scriptures to pick the word and create because we are co-creators with God.

Let me tell you something.

Your presence here, here today, except for Darren, who was born here, every other person here thought here because you created something that didn't exist, and that was not in existence for some of you 10 years ago, but you created it.

There was maybe a desire, and then you said, Lord, and then you committed it to God's hands, and then you made that move.

So the same thing, if there is any other thing you need to recreate, that is how you do it.

And if there's if there are things that you are seeing, and you know that this is not in line with scriptures, we can get rid of them as well by the same word, by faith, Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts, and by that gift, by it, I mean, that it are we together, English?

By it, by that gift, it he being dead, yet spoke.

So, what was speaking on behalf of Abel?

The gift, and that gift was a type of the sacrifice of Christ, and then somebody said, Why was God angry with Cain?

If you're a parent and you give your children instruction, do A B C D E, right?

And you gave two of them instructions, right?

And then one came and did exactly what you asked him to do, and then the other one said, No, you know, I don't think you understand what is trending now.

I think I'll do it this way.

That was what Cain did because God will not be angry.

Listen, God, you know, God is a just what is God is a just God.

I I I love God so much.

He's a just God, just like an average parent.

A parent will not.

Have you seen have you seen somebody saying that I know what I want you to do, but I'll not tell you.

God is not like that.

God will tell you exactly what He wants you to do, He will show you how you how He wants you to do it, He will tell you where you should do it, He will show you how He will He will tell you with whom everything you need to know.

Because He told Cain, but Cain chose otherwise, and and the new testament shows that Cain just exposed himself to the devil.

The devil said, What?

The same thing is Satan did with Eve, as God said he should not eat.

It's the same thing, right?

So, anyways, that's not where we're going.

So, now look at this by faith, Enoch was translated that he should not see death.

Oh, wow, that he should not see death, and was not found because God has translated him, but before his translation, he had this testimony that he pleased God.

So don't go to verse 6 yet.

Look at this very well, yeah, and then we'll look at verse 6 and then we'll close.

All right, so Enoch walked with God, he had a testimony that he pleased God, and that testimony of pleasing God resulted in him being raptured, it resulted in him being raptured.

So rapture that happened even before Jesus showed up.

He he he and then now look at verse.

So with this in mind, now look at verse 6.

Oh, Jesus is but without faith, it is impossible to do what to please him.

That word please, forget about the Greek word, but it means to gratify entirely.

You may want to write this down.

That word please means in the Greek, whatever that Greek word is, the Greek word is whatever, but it means to gratify entirely.

So I went to find out what does it mean to gratify entirely.

English, English definition, right?

It means to completely satisfy a person's desires, needs, or expectations, leaving no room for further want.

To gratify entirely means to completely satisfy a person's desires, needs, or expectations, leaving no room for further want.

Without faith, it is impossible for you to completely satisfy God's desires, God's expectations of you, God's need for you to serve Him.

You need faith so that you can satisfy God and please Him so what that you will say that yes, you are not qualified to be truth.

Hallelujah.

Without faith, it's impossible for you to do that.

In that sense, that for he that comes to God must believe that he is.

One of my Badagri names is Jesu T.

It means Jesus is Jesus exists, Jesus exists, that you have to believe.

I mean, how many of you have seen God before?

We've not met him before, we have not seen him in person, like me seen you and I, but you must believe that he is, and that he's also a rewarder of those who diligently, systematically, and intentionally seek him.

Because you have to be very determined, you have to be very intentional about seeking God.

You don't you don't pray where you feel like you pray because you must do it.

There is hardly anyone here that you didn't wake up one morning and you didn't feel like praying, but when I don't feel like praying, is when I pray the most.

I say, Ah, Satan, I have seen you no way, or flesh, I have seen you no way without faith, it's impossible to please him.

So we wrap up this way.

So that word please, I started looking at does this mean the same thing?

Because God, when Jesus was baptized, God told, God spoke and said, This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

So I said, Okay, is Jesus still trying to please God?

But I realized that it's a different kind of please, it means to approbate.

This is my beloved son in whom I have placed my stamp of approval.

So, what God wants us to do by faith is to start working in what He has called us to do so that He can place that stamp of approval on us, that we can become like Jesus and has given us all that we need.

Faith for you is working in what God has said.

The second part is to talk about how to live by faith, but my time is very fully up now, right?

But two things faith comes from God's word, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by God's word.

You have to meditate on God's word.

You know, I'm just saying okay, I'll work with this time, right?

Hearing God's word, hearing opens our ears to God's word, meditation opens our hearts to God's word.

Everything I'm saying now, yes, it opens your ears to the word, but for you for your hearts to receive the word, you have to spend time to meditate on it.

Psalm 119 and verse 129 says, Thy testimonies are wonderful, therefore does my soul keep them.

Verse 1 text says the entrance of your world gives light, so that means there is study, there is meditation that starts from your mind and then it enters your spirit because faith is of the heart, it is not of the head, it's not something you think about, it's something you believe and you act on.

There are some times that you have doubts in your head, but you have faith in your heart, and you just don't listen to the noise, right?

You don't you just who sang that song?

That's why I don't listen to the noise because God is involved, right?

Okay, where are the Gen Z here?

How many of you know the song that I just sang?

Oh so I is involved, involved, involved.

But I won't listen to the noise, all right.

Anyways, sorry, all right, in its own, okay.

Doing God's word and living by faith starts with believing the word in our heart and confessing with our mouth.

All right, so bottom line is that if there is no word of God in you, you have no faith.

I am done.

If there is no word of God in you, you have absolutely no faith.

So if you want to gauge yourself to see how much of faith you have, how much of God's word do you have?

Cram it if you need to cram it.

Do you hear me?

Cram it if you need to cram it, and I'm not talking about Psalm 23, I'm talking about Revelation 22.
